snippet, accordingly:
“Right, right, sorry.” Terrestrius gave his staff and uneasy look. “So, uh, how do you know Claudia, anyhow?”
“I knew her,” Callum corrected, frowning and shouldering ahead, before the second bother could stick in his head. “Wait, Claudia seriously never mentioned me?”
“Should she have? She said you used to be friends—”
“If that’s all she’s told you, then no wonder you think you’re in love with her.”
Terrestrius ran to catch up with him, both of them frowning. “Hey, that’s not fair—Claudia is kind and silly, and she’s actually a really good person—”
“Yeah, right—”
“Your girlfriend threatened to slit my throat open, thank you, I don’t think you get to—”
“Rayla wouldn’t have hurt you,” Callum burst, his mind catching up with his mouth a second later. Somehow, Rayla threatening this boy wasn’t too out of the loop—hadn’t she threatened Nyx, and even him, once upon a time? And he’d wondered how precisely she’d gotten the coins from Claudia for a while now, so maybe that factored in—but he also knew without a doubt that Claudia’s weird dumb boyfriend had been in very little actual true danger. “She doesn’t hurt innocent people.” He squinted; how did he know, truly know, that Terrestrius wasn’t also a dark mage like Claudia? Like—“If that is what you are.”

I wish I had Tomodachi Life
Earlier I was imagining what I would do for ships (since my plan is to make the entire island Cookie Run characters), since from what I recall you can only do romances with the opposite genders. Like if I wanted to do wildchip, would I have to make one of them female?
But then I remembered, I don’t actually have Tomodachi Life, so I shouldn’t really hypothesize on a game I don’t even have

Wyll is, of course, NOT in a good mood after Karlach trots off to camp.
"You've been witness to a pantomime, I'm sorry to say," he mutters bitterly as Rakha looks toward him. "And I've played my part all too poorly."
It is, certainly, a puzzling circumstance. Rakha has not known Wyll for very long, but she already knows enough of him (and has seen enough of the inside of his head) to know that it was more than a little strange that he argued for Karlach to die while Rakha argued for her to live. Admittedly, Rakha's motivation was primarily Karlach's usefulness and the promise of more blood to be shed later - but it doesn't change the fact that it was the inverse of what any logical observer might have expected.
There is something strange at work here, and only one obvious cause that Rakha can see.
"Someone set you on Karlach's tail," she says bluntly. "I'd like to know who."
Wyll flinches. "I can say only this," he says, meeting her eyes squarely even though he clearly wants to look away. "Karlach's not the only one who's had a villain's knife held to their throats."
"You sound like a man with the Nine Hells at his heels," Gale says dryly.
Wyll shakes his head, not rising to the humor. His expression still looks stricken. "You're closer than you know," he says quietly. "One night soon when we make camp, the veil will be lifted. And I'll pay my penance."
Rakha's eyes narrow curiously. "Good, then," she says flatly. "I deserve answers." About this and many other things.
Wyll looks back at her steadily, and then nods with the faintest hint of a sardonic smile. "And you'll have them," he says quietly. "But I can't promise you'll like them."
Ominous.
She can extrapolate only a little about what's going on here. Wyll's informant about Karlach lied to him about her nature. A woman, most likely - the voice Rakha heard when peering into Wyll's memories about his eye.
Wyll, like Rakha, has a voice in his head that tells him to kill. But unlike Rakha, he has principles regarding when he listens and when he does not, principles that go beyond survival - even though, it seems, there is a looming punishment for disobedience.
Foolish, Rakha thinks vaguely. What purpose to such principles, if they will not keep you alive?

Not usually the type to make this sort of comment on the main tag but can people PLEASE quit with the whole "Link is shorter than Zelda!!11!11!!" thing? Its starting to go from a harmless, joking tone that I thought was funny to something way too aggressive. I like Link being shorter myself, but oh my lord please let artists do whatever they want. We've been so blessed by the amazing art and writing that comes out of this ship's fandom. So like, what's the gatekeeping for? Draw short Link yourself if that's so important to you :/
Look, Link has a clear height, story AND personality based on the game and dialogue options but he is also a part of a franchise that unlike almost anything out there with a non customizable main character, willingly encourages you to headcanon him however you like, to the point where he was purposefully designed as androgynous and they don't want to create a Linkle because for them it would feel like confirming Link is male. Its almost as if canon is more of a guideline than a hard rule- the devs have their view of him and the story, but they also just want you to have your fun. So if players have this much freedom, if someone wants Link to be taller just, y'know, let them??
