(He/They) Blog run by a demi Agender fella on the web, running a criminal empire through my ocs. I blog about shit I like (video games, ocs, music, and characters u never heard of)
here's the end result of our fun little activity. Thank u sm everyone who joined this was really great!! I will defo do a round 2 later cuz we still have a lot of songs for u guys to choose from. Tho this was mostly me doodling, I feel like it really helped me think of nice ways to make diff backgrounds that still fit my usual aesthetic so it was such a great practice :D
A clouded perspective removes the alarm
I didn't mean to cause so much harm
Your shattered frame will never be the same
love of your life to a beast with no name
It's difficult to say his name even out of context, the letters stick together like pain is just a contest
Have a good look in the mirror and pull the trigger, it's self defense
In order to fix your heart you have to kill your innocence
Or keep filling that hole with more concrete
Always sinking means the cycle will repeat
Your heart will beat again
You need an ending to begin
Kill me with every could-have-been
By picking the fights that you can't win
HONESTLY ONE OF MY FAV JACKALOPE SONGS ON THIS PLAYLIST! SO REALLY GOOD CHOICE!
With vengeance
Torpedo me down to the bottom
It's a cycle with a never ending problem
Life gets crazy when things get heated
Everything changes when you need it
I don't wanna to talk about your past dim light
I don't wanna cut ties like you're outta sight
Oh no my life is ridiculous

"We raise it up, this offering
We raise it up
This is a gift, it comes with a price
Who is the lamb and who is the knife?"
"I'm thinking 'bout my problems and the way that they will never be solved, hey
I'm thinking 'bout the relative ways
That all I do is age
Buried, there's a version of me hurting and I'm letting him down
Hey, I'm in descent, hey
I wanna go, I wanna go home
I can't let this one go"
Devour me
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Devour me
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

Do you think there's a chance that Dale is literally in a mental hospital experiencing all that is happening while he's having a mental breakdown? We have his medical records that clearly state he's losing sight of reality and we know not to trust him since he's an unreliable narrator.
So what if Rusty Lake IS about Mental Health and fishing? Literally. And we're just seeing the patients go through their own "realities" where animal people exist and weird cubes hold your memories but in reality they're probably just making monsters out of doctors and medical equipment. Is that too cliche?
You have no idea how much I would hate that if that's what it is. It IIISSSS too cliche. Maybe I'm hoping that Rusty Lake will deliver something way too unordinary. Maybe I'm hoping for too much... But I just don't want it to have built ALLLLLL of this, this unique story, the unique setting, unique characters... just for it to fall flat at the ending and go "SURPRISE IT WAS ALL IN LE HEAD" ya know?? 馃槶馃槶馃槶

In my 5 seconds of research all I could find is that it's an angel number

You mentioned before that both counts of Birthday are memories of Dale that are being altered, right? What if that's why the letter Rabbit left never comes up again? Because it was erased from Dale's memories? Owl and Crow want to and need to paint David as worse as they can. Can't have an apology letter there having Dale think that his parents killer is anything but a cruel and merciless murderer.
I would love for Dale to find evidence that actually the REAL events of Birthday went differently and it's what makes him realized he's being manipulated by Owl.
Sucks for David if true. But also makes me wonder, why? Why go that far to paint David as being this evil?
I think I made a drawing about that before but I like to believe Dale kept the letter in an ""evidence locker"" and that he did his own private invistigation on Mr. Rabbit so the real letter might be out there still, somewhere in a locker, waiting for Dale to find it, so he can remember what truly happened that night. And tbh?? I'm curious to know what REALLY happened on the 18th of December, 1939.
Un-fucking-related but isn't it weird that birthday happened on 1939 and we also know that Mr. Rabbit is 39 years old??
Do you think there's a significance behind the number 39?
Need to look it up brb
