Becoming a ☆Dream Girl☆
Who doesn’t want to be a dream girl? Put together, always smells nice, radiant, confident, cute, and content. Where does one even begin when trying to embody that dream girl energy?! Well, with a few practical changes to my life and routines, I’m starting to feel more confident in myself and in love with my appearance and my own energy. Here’s what I’m doing to become my own dream girl!
- Overnight Curls and Wave! I’m going to start wearing my hair in braids or curlers when I go to bed so I can wake up with beautiful, dreamy hair.
- Wake Up Earlier. I need to build in time to my schedule to be able to properly get ready in the morning! I usually roll out of bed, do my hair very fast, brush my teeth, put on clothes, and run out the door. If I want to start doing beauty routines and investing more time into myself, I need to wake up earlier! My ideal routine is:
• Wash face
• Brush teeth
• Sunscreen & makeup
• Hair
• Outfit & accessories
• Fragrance
• Breakfast!
- Simple Makeup. Sunscreen, blush, highlighter, mascara, and tinted lip balm or lip gloss would make me look radiant and angelic everyday!
- Work Out 30 Minutes 6 Days a Week! I have a family history of high blood pressure LOL so I think I should begin experimenting with exercise and learning how to move my body in ways that I enjoy while I’m still young :)
- Body Care / Skin Care! I’m going to buy salicylic acid body wash and a fragrance free moisturizer to prevent acne, hydrate my skin, and make my body glow.
- Pick a Signature Fragrance! I want to pick a signature scent for everyday, and possibly a scent for special events! I think I prefer picking a scent that matches each season, so I can have some variation throughout the year. Here’s the perfumes I own so far:
• Love’s Baby Soft (Summer)
• Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy (Fall)
• YSL Mon Paris (Winter)
• Marc Jacobs Honey (Spring)
• Sabrina Carpenter Sweet Tooth

⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ building her into you˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆
blair waldorf
hey loves! i took a long break but i’m back with a new series about building our fav it girls into ourselves! today we are doing my all time favourite queen b! so here are four tips on how to become like her!
୨୧ looks ୨୧. blair always looks put together, she has a classy look. you would never catch her in a messy bun and sweats outside of her bedroom! queen b wouldn’t be caught dead with cakey makeup! to achieve her look do a lightweight foundation, a concealer that matches your skin tone, bronzer but only on your cheeks to highlight the apples, a rosy red blush, some light eyeshadow and mascara. for hair opt for some tight curls or a blowout look. never be caught out not looking your best, you don’t know when gossip girl is watching!
୨୧ outfits ୨୧ blair has a classy and girly look. she always is wearing simple jewellery, such as pearl necklaces and simple silver earrings. her outfits are always put together and never too flashy. for inspo i recommend looking into the academia and coquette style! B would never wear big flashy logos, neon colours or sequins. to embody her look pleated skirts, stockings or tights, cute blouses and of course a headband are your go to!
୨୧ personality ୨୧ blair is a loving, loyal friend, when you’re on her good side. she wouldn’t let anyone wrong her. she stands up for herself and even though it isn’t always right she does what she thinks is right, but takes responsibility when she’s in the wrong (sometimes..). she takes inspiration from her queens grace kelly and audrey hepburn. she is well read, so she uses a wide vocabulary and would never let anyone believe that she is dumb, how is she supposed to get into yale doing that! she has confidence and walks around as if there is a golden haze around her. she is determined to achieve all her goals and keeps all of them in tact. she is a hard worker and knows what she wants!
୨୧ lifestyle ୨୧ blair of course has her lavish lifestyle. laudree macrons, la mer, invitations to the hottest parties and all of the most luxurious brands are the norm! even though all of us can’t embody this, we can all agree that she is the queen of self care! after a long day she will take a bubble bath, she will lock herself up in her room and read her fav book, she won’t move on sundays and she will indulge in all her favourite sweet treats whenever she needs it! she never neglects studying to keep up her beauty and brains! so make time for both. enjoy the little things in life and don’t forget to treat yourself! queen b would never neglect her needs!
thank you all so much for reading, please don’t take all these tips to heart as you shouldn’t change yourself but rather if you want to be like her adapt some of these traits while keeping all of her own! request some of your fav it girls that you would like to see in the next part!
XOXO, A

Fixing My Bad Habits {goals + how to achieve them}
Tumblr media
Goals:
Asleep by 10:00 pm
Sleeping by 10 PM allows your body to keep a consistent melatonin secretion pattern, which in turn helps the body's internal rhythms function properly and provide natural rest and renewal at night.
Drinking more water
For optimal health and well-being, it is recommended to consume around 2-3 liters of water per day as a rough guideline.
Regular exercise
Lots of benefits that maintain & improve physical body such as flexibility, increased energy levels (which I definitely need), sleep quality & strength and mental health such as enhanced productivity, confidence and self-compassion.
Meditation
To reduce my stress & anxiety levels, as well as increase my self esteem as I’m spending more time with myself and my thoughts. But also improving my focus & concentration while also taking a break from the world around me.
Study
I have a course I have to prepare for me and I’m not tryna be the only person who don’t know shit.
More Positive Self Talk
If you know my blog, you know I do a lot of vaunting- basically affirmations- but I sometimes even stray away. However I noticed that when I do stay talking positively about myself, I see everything from such a lighter perspective. I talked a bit about this in LOA Reminders, but I’m all about self love & acceptance and even though I have this blog I’m still on this journey as well.
Journaling
Journaling is so fun y’all. It’s like… why tell other people my problems when I can tell myself…? It enhances self AND emotional awareness, provides a healthy outlet for your thoughts & feelings, helps you reflect & understand yourself more and provides a safe, non-judge mental place for you vent & express your frustrations. Journaling also provides a sense of clarity & direction & helps with setting goals and maintains focus & so much more. 10/10 def recommend. You don’t even have to write or type.. you could do video diaries. I def wanna try that.
Good Posture
Y’all ever seen that video of wonyoung sitting with such good posture like… I need that. Good posture supports your spine and promotes good breathing and circulation while also enhancing your self perception & self awareness & making you seem more approachable
How I am going to achieve them
By starting off small. I noticed that when I rush into things, I often give up, thinking it’s too much for me to keep up with. And that’s okay...
Asleep by 9:45 pm
Drink 3 bottles of water everyday.
I do about three exercises per day.
5 minutes meditation twice a day.
2 educational videos everyday & at the end of the day, write out what I’ve learned
Say a vaunt at least three times a day- morning, afternoon & night.
Journaling at the end of every day and whenever else I need to rant. Y’all ever feel like y’all over share cuz that’s definitely me… but honestly sometimes you just need to talk to yourself. Self reflection is important.
Posture. I’m already pretty aware of my posture when I sit most times so I just sit up right, but I will be practicing self awareness more and eventually perfect posture will be natural to me.
As soon as I find myself naturally in a routine, I will then do a slow & small increase which will lead to another increase.
Remember: Don’t rush yourself and it’s okay to slip up. But it’s also crucial to try your best to not fall off of a routine because getting back on it can be really hard.

The Girly Guide to dressing like a Doll
Tumblr media
Hello dolls!!! I’ve been neglecting this blog so bad recently but it totally isn’t on purpose. I’m in like my last month of school so everything has been going by really fast and I just haven’t had the time to write. I like to think of it as a good thing because now I have a whole bunch of ideas and drafts for the future ^_^. Today's post is about how to dress like a doll. It's not really gonna be very specific on how to dress a certain way but instead give you an idea on how to use cute doll-like elements in your wardrobe to help you achieve that cute dolly look. I’m going to include some pictures of what I'm going to talk about to help get a better picture of the concept as a whole. I post on my tiktok a lot and always get comments about my style and how I just put together my outfits in general. So here's a way to start dressing like the you really want to be.
Tumblr media
1. Know what colors you like and what colors you don’t like.
I know it sounds simple but it can be quite complicated if you only wear one color. Personally I stick to 3 or 4 colors I know I will always look good in: pink, purple, white, and black. These are my signature colors that make up most of my wardrobe. If you can pick a few colors you know you will wear that will make it easier when you’re actually trying to find clothes you like.
2. Don’t limit yourself to one style/aesthetic
I had this mindset at first that I would only stick to one style for the rest of my life and would never change it ever. That works well for some people but not me. There are so many styles and fashion elements to try out and just sticking to one is kind of limiting in my opinion. Of course it's fine if you want to stick to one style or aesthetic but before deciding on one i highly suggest trying out different ones.
3. Have staple pieces in your wardrobe.
Sure statement pieces are beautiful and amazing to have but staple pieces are just as if not more important. I suggest having 2 or 3 regular t-shirts in the colors you like, 2 pairs of jeans/pants, 1 or 2 skirts, and a dress. These pieces are more than enough in the realm of simple and fabulous especially if you accessories them the right way. Plus you can easily mix and match them with statement pieces.
4. Shoes, shoes, SHOES!!!
At first I didn't understand the importance of shoes but god do I now. I love shoe shopping. When I first started my deep dive into fashion I focused on the clothes instead of the shoes and that was kind of a mistake lol. Shoes can elevate any outfit from a 5 to a 10. I like to have a pair of white and black shoes in my wardrobe at all times. Also as I got older I started to add heels and platforms into the mix because a casual look can also be super cute with a great pair of heels or platforms. Starting out I suggest a pair a black and white sneakers and if you like heels and pair of black heels
5. Have an inspo for how you want to look like
I know above I said don’t limit yourself but sometimes having an inspo or guide for the look you’re going for is really helpful. I personally have so many (i’ll include a few). This by no means mean copy a persona to the t but take aspects of their style and incorporate them into yours to help it develop into a style you like. Personally my inspo is monster high, alternative fashion, video vixens from the early 2000s, a lot of megan fox characters (jennifer check, carla santini, mikeala baens), vampires, elle woods, barbie, london tipton, sharpay evans, harajuku fashion, girly anime/video characters, 2000s horror movies, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Megan Good. As you can see it's a pretty good mix or like preppy pink and alt fashion and there is nothing wrong with mixing them together.
6. ACCESSORIZE!
God do I love accessorizing, it is my second favorite part about getting dressed (other than doing my makeup). The first thing I think you should do is pick which metals you like, by this i mean gold or silver. I personally love silver jewelry and only wear silvery. Due to this most of the jewelry I buy is silver, pink, and black. I also have quite the bag collection, mostly black and white (I just bought a new pink bag that I'm so excited about). I wouldn't say have one bag for every occasion but do have like 2 or 3, personally i love a little baguette or crossbody bag. Also invest in some sunglasses. They’re sups cute and protect your eyes from the sun.
7. Makeup can be a literal lifesaver
Makeup is literally my favorite thing ever. I love getting dressed up and doing my makeup. It's just so therapeutic to me. If I don't like the outfit that I'm wearing, I can just do my makeup and I'll feel so much better about it. I have a post on some of my makeup favorites as a starting point if you have no clue about makeup. I can also recommend some youtube videos if you guys want.
Tumblr media
But most importantly have CONFIDENCE! Confidence is the key to looking and feeling amazing as long as you work to be the best version of yourself and stay true to yourself. That's all it really takes to be a doll. I plan on making more posts like this soon because I really enjoy sitting down and just writing helpful little posts like this. If you guys have any question pls don't hesitate to comment or message me i’ll always answer. Bye Bye lovelies!!!! XOXO Dolly

as important as focusing on my actual academic learning is, i also think it's important to broaden the areas of knowledge i'm well versed in. i have a thirst for knowledge and i want to be a cultured woman that can strike up a conversation at a cocktail event over any number of topics!
some areas i would like to focus on & tools/links to use:
• art history & appreciation: visit museums and attend their lectures! how to look at and understand art (there's a free trial, but also there are so many art docs/lessons free on kanopy); 50 paintings you should know
• literature (classic & contemporary): read lol; the western canon; world lit
• contemporary politics: read local, national, and world news and listen to podcasts
• latin american history: learn about scholars specializing in the area and read their academic work
• cinema: watch classic and foreign films and better content in general; 15 documentaries to watch
• philosophy: become familiar with the most well-known schools
• architecture: go on self-guided tours in dc and nyc to discover some of the most famous and recognizable buildings in the world; 36 famous buildings to inspire you
• classical music, operas & the ballet: go watch more live shows! listen to classical music when studying/reading; 10 pieces of classical music everyone should know; tchaikovsky's swan lake <3
• western european history: pick one time period at a time to focus on

HOW TO START IMPLEMENTING CHANGE + STAY MOTIVATED
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
HAVE A REASON. It is going to be hard to start inputting change in your life if you do not even have a reason why. That reason also has to come from within, not from any other externalities (friends, school, work, family). This reason has to make you strive to be better.
If you’re unsure about your reason, write down times when you feel your happiest and when you feel your lowest, then notice any common themes.
BUILD DISCIPLINE. Discipline is the ability to be productive without hesitation or distractions. The only way to build it, is to practice it. Do the things you need/want to do, regardless of how you feel in the present.
Just remember, that you always feel better after committing to yourself.
MAKE YOUR PLAN SUSTAINABLE. Your routines and habits you want to implement, need to be at arm’s length for you. While I do believe in challenging yourself if your mind perceives that specific activity as ‘too hard’, it is going to make you avoid that task.
This is a reaction from your ego coming out of your comfort zone because it is so unfamiliar it wants to protect if anything ‘bad’ happens e.g. failure, loss of control and criticism.
Reminder, that part of you is not bad at all nor is it holding you back. It is the part of you that wants to keep you safe. For your ego to allow you to do tasks out of your comfort zone, it needs to be simple and easy. Then from there, you can build it up to your ideal habit or routine.
MAKE YOUR ENVIRONMENT INTENTIONAL. Your mind, space and the people around you need to be decluttered and serve a purpose. For your mind, avoid feeding it with an overload of information especially if you are not going to apply it. Minimise social media use and journaling instead of looking for a quick fix.
Your space, specifically your bedroom has to be the best place for you to grow. Everything in your room needs to serve a purpose, it has to be kept clean to ensure mind clarity and place intentional items around to support your goals (mantras, workout mat, water bottle, instruments).
The people around you have to support you and your journey. I don’t believe in the ‘value’ or ‘worth’ people have, but rather what you think of them. Someone could be the most overachieving and productive person ever, so they may inspire you, but what if they don’t wish the best for you? People who will support you regardless are the best resource ever.
BE FLEXIBLE. The ability to edit your habits or routine when needed so you can stick to a schedule or adapt to change is a powerful but underrated skill. Anything in life can happen, but if we want to stick to our goals, we need to develop flexibility.
The best way to develop flexibility is to try everything. For example, meditation. Do 5, 10, 15, and 20 minutes, try it in the morning, afternoon or evening, do a guided one or do it by yourself. To get flexible in a habit, you need to expand your capabilities in that habit.
ALWAYS SOMETHING RATHER THAN NOTHING. Typically during the day, we procrastinate because we want the challenging task to be perfect or we believe there’s not enough time/resources to do it.
However, just having that small progress each day is always better than nothing. One sentence is better than none, one healthy meal is better than none, 2 minutes of exercise is better than none etc.
HAVE GOALS THAT YOU LIKE. The reason so many people dislike doing their habits or routines is because it’s not stuff that’s enjoyable for them. It’s habits and routines that they got online from someone completely different.
Choose your favourite way of exercising, read your favourite books(even graphic ones!) and journal the way you want. If the steps to becoming your best self are steps that you dislike, then it is not your best self.
IDENTIFY THE WAY YOU SELF-SABOTAGE. If you are struggling to implement change, chances are there are small self-destructive behaviours that are in your routines that hold you back.
This could be major procrastination, doom-scrolling, an addiction or binge eating. You either have to completely extract these habits from your life or you can do these things in moderation.
TAKE REGULAR BREAKS. If you are being productive back-to-back and not allowing yourself to cool down, your motivation will deplete quickly. Have around 1-2 hours in your day doing anything you like.
If needed, after each task, take 5-10 minutes for yourself. However, do avoid your phone for these periods and try to be present in whatever you do here.
HAVE SOFT DAYS. Days in which you do not have to do anything hardcore or intense, and you’re just living. While yes, be somewhat productive but nothing too intense.
This can be your reset, detox or self care days, or all of them combined!

Emotionally healthy people are quitters ✨
Emotionally healthy people are quitters. They make choices that align with their well being. Quitting a relationship, partnership or job that makes you unhappy is a sign of self awareness. If someone stays in something bad for too long, it's not because they're strong, but because they're afraid or have low self esteem. Being emotionally healthy means having awareness, setting boundaries, and knowing when it's time to move on from situations that no longer serve you. It's about prioritizing your mental and emotional health over sticking with something that's causing you harm or making you unhappy.
Emotionally healthy people also tend to have good communication skills. They express their feelings and needs calmly, openly and honestly. They also look for guidance and enlightenment because they understand that seeking help is a sign of strength not weakness.
They make decisions out of self love rather than attachment or fear. When you prioritize loving yourself, you make choices that align with your happiness and growth, rather than staying in situations out of comfort or insecurity.
Recognizing when you have an unhealthy attachment or that your feelings may not be conducive to your well being is important. It allows you to take a step back, evaluate the situation objectively, and make choices that are in line with your best interests.
Sometimes holding on can lead to more pain and struggle than necessary. It's a sign of emotional maturity to recognize when a situation is no longer good for you and to have the strength to let it go.
Things that are genuinely right for you should not cause you harm or emotional pain. Choosing pain is a sign of a lack of self love. Recognizing the need for change, prioritizing self love, and making healthier choices is how you begin to change your life.
Reframe your mindset from “this is hurting me because I love it” to “this is hurting me because I do not love me.”

☼ How I’m Achieving My Dream Summer Body! ☼
I want to start by saying all bodies are summer bodies, and I’m extremely proud of my body 100% of the time, regardless of what it looks like! It takes such good care of me and deserves all the love in the world! <3 I’m framing my goals as “achieving a dream summer body” to make the process fun and desirable for myself! It’s a way for me to give myself motivation to be more consistent with things that are difficult for me because I love the ~aesthetic~ of the idea 😂 You are worthy no matter what your body looks like, and please remember to always care for your body with love and tenderness! Anyways, here’s what I’m doing to achieve my dream summer body:
- Eat 2 eggs a day. This is a super easy way for me to incorporate more protein every day with a food that I really like but don’t eat that often! It’s super easy and quick to make 2 scrambled eggs for breakfast everyday, and because I love eggs, I will (hopefully) be able to stick with it as part of my morning routine!
- Drink 1 protein shake a day. This one is a little harder than incorporating eggs because I don’t love protein powder! But, I think I can do it if I put my mind to it and mix it with things that I like, like maybe turning it into a smoothing with my preferred milk, fruits, yogurts, etc! This will be an amazing way for me to get more protein in throughout the day in a simple and time effective way, so I’m motivated to try to stick to it :)
- Move my body mindfully everyday in a way that I like! This is a daunting task because I’m so not athletic! But, I’m not limiting myself to strictly working out, I’m also counting stretching, yoga, dancing, and walking. My goal is to mindfully move my body at least once a day in a way that feels good, so it can range anywhere from gentle to strenuous movement!
- Eat more meals that incorporate veggies, beans, legumes, and fruits! Usually, my dinner is the only meal during my day that is well balanced and includes these types of food 0.0 which is so sad because they make me feel so good when I eat them! I usually eat variations of breads, cheeses, and yogurts for breakfast and lunch but I think incorporating more veggies, beans, legumes and fruits with those meals would help me feel better in both body and mind (and maybe help me focus better on school and work during the day)!
