Karasuno, Nekoma and Seijoh:
Miss Manager and the Mystery Man
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Karasuno x Fem! manager; Nekoma x Fem! manager; Seijoh x Fem! manager
Warnings: jealousy, mostly fluff
AN: this is a request, I kept it kind of generic and mostly platonic
Karasuno
Most chaotic reaction goes to Karasuno 🏆
It happens at nationals
The team is brimming with excitement and nervousness as they prepare to take on Inarizaki
You, on the other hand, are relatively calm
You know your boys and how talented each and every one of them is
There’s no doubt in your mind that they will win
While they stretch, you mindlessly jot down things to remember, stats you want to collect
“YN is that you?” A voice rings from behind you as you turn to see your cousin standing right there
“Omg hi!! It’s so good to see you!” You bellow in excitement as you quickly leap into his arms from a big hug
The team is watching, utterly confused
Why are you hugging this person? Why is this person a man??
They instantly go on guard
Tanaka and Noya are growling low
Suga and Enoshita watch with narrowed eyes
Kageyama isn’t even paying attention let’s be real 😅
Asahi is concerned
Kiyoko is all smiles because she knows who the man is and is happy for you
Hinata looks confused, as does the rest of the team
Daichi narrows his eyes, but decides to approach
“Uhh hey YN, who is this?” He questions, guard up but still giving the stranger the benefit of doubt
Of course, that is before Hinata jumps in and says
“Is this your boyfriend Yn??” He screeches as the entire team stops
Some hold their breath, others just stand there
And some, well some freak out
“Who the heck do you think you are city boy??” Tanaka provinces, getting right into said city boys name
“Some guy who apparently thinks he’s good enough for OUR YN!” Noya shouts, only encouraging Tanaka
Poor Yachi is standing there, no idea how to react
You just stand there, rolling your eyes because of course this is the conclusion they would come too 🙄
You quickly stand in front of your cousin, pushing the two one brained celled teammates back
“This is my cousin! He lives far away and I don’t get to see him often!” You shout
The team instantly relaxes
Daichi quickly grabs Tanaka and Noya, whose mouths gape at the realization and apologizes
“Sorry about this,” he says to you and your cousin
Your poor cousin is probably scared for life 😂
But deep down you don’t mind, you know the team love and care for you
Nekoma
Chillest team? Definitely not 😂
Today was a beautiful day for a run
Of course, your enthusiasm wasn’t shared by all teammates involved
See example 👉🏻 Kenma
But nevertheless the team needed to work on their endurance
Normally you wouldn’t go with them, opting to stay behind and fill water bottles or chat with the coaches
But lev and Yamamoto had been begging you to go so you figured why not
You didn’t exactly hate running (only god knows why) so you thought it would be a great team bonding activity
Per the usual Yamamoto is leading the pack, followed behind Kuroo and Yaku who are silently racing
Kai, Fukunaga, Lev and Inuoka trail behind
And last but certainly not least, is you and Kenma
While you and Kenma run, you talk a little but mostly Kenma tries not to die
Then you see him
As he approaches, you make sure it’s actually him before freaking out
“Omg Hi!” You screech, as Kenma looks from you to the mystery man who is now stopping and smiling back at you
“Hey YN, how are you?” He asks as Kenma continues to stare, taking advantage of the break but still wondering who this man is
Could it be your boyfriend?
By now the rest of the team has stopped and are quietly observing
No one does anything yet, at least not until the mystery man goes in for the hug
“Whoa whoa who the heck do you think you are?” Yamamoto quickly jumps in, halting the man’s movements
“Excuse me?” The man says before stopping and looking at you like you can control these guys 🙄
Then Kuroo and Yaku step up to the plate 🙄 because why not
“This is our manage dude, better back off!” Yaku snarls as Kuroo just smirks
“Yaku don’t be mean to the man, not like he has anything remotely close on us,” Kuroo sneers as the man looks so utterly confused
Kenma is definitely recording this whole thing because he knows something’s up
You just stand there unimpressed
“Guys will you knock it off! This is just my cousin! He lives here but I don’t see him much because he’s in college!” You shout as all the guys freeze
“Cousin??” Some say
“In college?” Others chime
“I’m so sorry about them,” you apologize, “they all share a braincell and it seems it’s not made an appearance yet today!”
Your cousin looks from you to them before speaking, “it was nice to see you Yn, I gotta head out.”
Your cousin quickly jogs away before he has to deal with anymore crap
“Do you guys have one ounce of chill in you?” You grind out
“Sorry YN,” they all say in unison
But you can’t be mad at them for long and soon you are back enjoying your run with your boys
Seijoh
Definitely the most jealous
It’s the interhigh tournament and you are busy filling water bottles for the team
Usually one of the boys would accompany you but coach needed them for a quick meeting
And your an independent woman, you can handle yourself
As you fill, someone comes besides you and taps your shoulder
“Hey Yn, long time no see!” The guy says as your face lights up and you hug him with all your might
You haven’t seen your cousin in ages, despite living in the same prefecture
“Hey how is it going? I see your team made it to interhighs. Congrats!” You say as you carry on a nice a sweet conversation
But that’s not what it looks like from afar
Because you see, a certain second year setter spots you and quickly runs to tattle on you for having any contact with boys outside the team 🙄
“Some guy is hitting on Yn!” Yahaba screams at the team as Makki, Mattsun, Iwaizumi and Oikawa RUN towards you
Mad dog, Watari, Kindaichi and Kunimi are calm about it but still head out to see what’s happening
Before you know it, your engulfed in a squeezing hug by Oikawa who is glaring at your cousin
“My YN back off!” He shouts as Iwaizumi smacks him upside the head
“What are you doing with our YN?” Makki probes as your cousin seems to be completely and utterly confused
“Umm I was just talking with her,” he says as you try and wiggle out of the caged arms of Oikawa
“Just talking?” Mattsun glares as you quickly make your way through the tall players
“He’s my cousin!” You shout as Mattsun, Makki, Iwa and Oikawa all go stiff
In unison they all say, “cousin??” And look back and forth from you to your cousin
“Yes and I was just talking with him about you guys!”
“Awe you were talking about me YN-Chan??” Oikawa squeals as Iwa again smacks him
“I’m so sorry about them,” you say before budding yourself cousin farewell and pushing the team away
“Sorry YN,” they bellow in unison again as you roll your eyes
Try not to be too mad at them Yn 😂

CYBERSEX
"Go ahead baby, touch yourself for me." his sultry voice rung through the speakers of your phone, which was situated in the firm grasp of your fingers as you laid in your bed, "...and show me." he continued, you looked at the phone screen, seeing him palming at the large bulge within his sweatpants.
"Shit." you moaned as your fingers reached down past your panties, and you played with your puffy clit, aching as your slick coated your fingers, "C'mon baby, I know you can do better than that." you hear his voice buzzing through the speaker, dampening your hands as you touch yourself.
"Fuck." you whine as you began fingering your needy hole, desperate for a release. You looked at your screen, "Show me." you whined, watching as he slowly pulls at his waistband, letting his hard cock spring free, the tip swollen and dripping with precum.
"All for you." he reminds you, stroking at his lengthy cock, you watch as he pumps his shaft with a slow pace, then gradually increasing the speed. "Shit, let me see you." he demands, you were quick to strip out of your clothes, and position your nude body in front of the camera.
You watched as his wrist moved, his cock tensening as he laid eyes on your plump curves, "Fuck!" you hear him moan out, before seeing his dick spray thick, creamy spurs of his come, all over his phone screen, your slick dripped down between your legs as you heard his heavy panting through the speakers of your phone.

✩ ˛˚ . 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗔 𝗦𝗡𝗘𝗔𝗞 𝗢𝗨𝗧? ; — in which you meet your boy bestfriend at midnight to go skate around town and embrace your teenage freedom.

the thrill of sneaking out past late, skating to meet your boy bestfriend at the nearest plaza. the chilly breeze and rush of the midnight air fueling your excitement.
it became a routine for you to get that late night text from him asking if you wanted to skate around and fuck shit up just for funsies. knowing you, there was no way you would turn down such an offer.
you'd skate down the road beneath the bright street lights and amongst the illuminated signs that lit up the city at night. cars would occasionally pass by and you'd have to weave around fellow pedestrians now and then but other than that everyone in the area was slumped.
just like always, you'd see rin's lean figure sitting on the steps before taco bell, a slurpee from the gas station in his grasp and his skateboard propped against the wall.
you'd take a seat next to him, and ask for a sip─ to which he would say no. yet after immediate repercussion, he'd give in with a deep sigh and you'd soon be sitting next to him with a devious smile on your face and the straw between your lips.
he'd argue that you drank too much but you'd just laugh and skate down the street. he'd toss the empty cup in the trash and follow behind you, racing you to the stop sign saying that if you lost you'd owe him another one.
rin would still lose of course, and then dare you to do some rat ass tricks off random things. the two of you would bust yall's asses doing crazy tricks off stairs, rails, and whatnot just for shits and giggles.
you would spend the night joking about everything, goofing off and skating around. maybe he would surprise you with alcohol or bud if that's your thing. you would smile and thank him before heading to the neighborhood park to light up.
wanna go to Seven Eleven and buy yall's favorite snacks? Lets go. wanna go sit on the beach and have some deep conversations? Lets go. wanna go tag and skate in the empty parking garage and then sit on the rooftop to admire the citylights? Lets go.

Satori Tendou x Female!Reader
Warnings: Language, Angst, Reader was really just trying to help Tendou through some rough times and Tendou snapped at her >:(, sad Tendou
Word Count: 2.7k
Author's Note: Hi everyone! I've noticed that everyone really liked the Tendou smut I posted a couple of days ago and I've been so happy to see the reblogs and likes that its gotten! I've been recovering from being sick for the past six days and I don't know why I'm on such a Satori kick lately! He's a huge comfort character for me I feel, so I wrote SO MANY fics for him. I'll post them all and then I'll move on from posts about him, I'm sorry😭 Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this angst! Feel free to send in an ask if you have a request or even just some feedback:)
Author's note pt.2: I listened to YKWIM by Yot Club while I was writing this, so you can tell why my title is the name of the song hehe lolol. I reccommend listening to it while you read, I find that it really adds on to the atmosphere at the beginning of this :)
~Mod Shoyo
“How long has Tendou-senpai been like this?” A worried Goshiki spoke up.
Semi sighed. “Since he snapped at Y/N the other day.”
Tendou looked like a mess. His normally spiked hair was disheveled and limp. The bags under his eyes got darker. (which mostly everyone thought was impossible) His ruby eyes were puffy and bloodshot. No one knew what to do or how to help him. But Tendou didn’t want any help. He just wanted his apology to be accepted finally so he can have her back. He needed her back.
“He snapped at Y/N?” Reon queried in disbelief. “Man, I wonder what got him so riled up,”
Goshiki looked at his upperclassman with teary eyes. He’d never seen Tendou look so dejected, so depressed. Tendou was always the morale booster. He was the teammate to make everyone feel better and to lift them up. But who was going to make him feel better?
Their middle blocker had lost his smile.
Ushijima stared at Satori from the opposite side of the court. His eyes held the same monotone nature that most people assumed, but in reality, he was actually worried for his friend. Wakatoshi shifted his gaze to the left and noticed the rest of the players just staring at the guess blocker from afar. Nothing was going to change if someone didn’t at least try and help. As the player that Tendou was closest to, Ushijima took it upon himself to make the first move.
“Satori-san,” Tendou looked up, his eyes widening slightly when Ushijima stood in front of him. “You’re going to severely hurt your back if you keep slouching. You should get some rest.”
Tendou looked down at the floor and sniffled. Tears welled up in his eyes for the umpteenth time and fell onto the gym floor. Ushijima didn’t know what to do. He didn’t know how Tendou liked to be comforted in times like this. Hell, he’d never thought he would ever see him like this in the first place.
“Come on Satori, let’s get you some water.” Ushijima blurted out.
Tendou walked away with the ace of Shiratorizawa, sniffling and letting his sobs rack his shoulders a bit louder now. Once they made it to the vending machine closest to the gym, Ushijima pulled out some loose coins from the pocket of his jacket and paid for water. Tendou looked at his reflection in the glass of the machine and sighed.
“I made her cry Wakatoshi-kun,” Tendou admitted. He shut his eyes tightly and let out another sob. “I made her cry.”
Ushijima remained silent. “She was just trying to help and I made her cry.” While most figured the only thing that was ever on Ushijima’s mind was volleyball, he actually was very attentive to the ones close to him. Tendou being one of them.
He knew all about Y/N. Tendou liked to talk about her a lot. She was a manager for Karasuno, Ushijima had actually seen her in person and got introduced to her when they played Karasuno in a match. Tendou was on fire that day. He was trying so hard to impress Y/N, and while Ushijima could argue that she served as a distraction for the guess blocker, she actually fueled him to play his best. Everything about Y/N brought out the best in him, and Ushiwaka knew how much she meant to his friend. He felt horrible for him.
Tendou was in a slump. That was easy for Y/N to notice the second she walked into his dorm to visit him. Her eyes softened at the sight of her boyfriend looking so glum. She dropped everything she had brought with her right next to his door and rushed over to him.
“Tori, what’s the matter love?” She cooed, sitting next to him on his bed. Tendou just stayed quiet. This was worse than she thought. “Do you need anything?”
Tendou sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. “I need space.”
Y/N’s heart dropped to her stomach. “Sp-Space?” Did he just need a few minutes of alone time? Or did he need space away from her completely, from their relationship? Y/N tried to not let her overthinking get the best of her, but the way he phrased his answer really didn’t help that at all.
“What?” That’s all that she could muster up. Ask him to repeat himself; ask him for clarification.
An annoyed growl left Tendou’s lips and he stood up from his bed. Y/N straightened her posture and jumped at how suddenly he moved away from her.
“Space! I need you to not breathe down my neck and ask me a million questions like you always do! I need you to leave me alone so I can sort through all the shit that's going on right now!”
Y/N was shocked. She was paralyzed and found it difficult to move her limbs. “T-Tendou whatever it is, I’m here for you! You’re not alone,”
“That’s the thing, Y/N.” Using her first name rather than the million pet names he had given her always did something to her. Hearing him use it in such a vain and angry tone was enough to make tears well up in her eyes. “You can’t just let me sort these out on my own. You always have to squeeze yourself into the midst of the problem and I just want five fucking minutes where you just shut the hell up and stop asking me so many fucking questions!”
He was yelling now. His voice was echoing throughout the room, even worse, his words were echoing in her mind. Did she really annoy him that much? Pester him with so many questions that he could never think straight? Did that mean he lied to her whenever he told her how much she’s helped him work through issues?
She’d never heard him so angry before. “Tendou, why didn’t you just tell me?” He scoffed and adorned a smile on his face despite his anger.
“Because I have a million other fucking things on my plate, Y/N. God for fucks sake, are you really that stupid?" Her heart stung with that one.
"That school in France I applied to? Rejected me. I haven’t heard back from any of the safety schools, I don’t have the money even with a scholarship to make it to my culinary school, and I can’t find any jobs right now that are gonna hire me in time to make the payment! The least of my worries right now is telling you that you ask me too many questions and fucking hound me like a lap dog trying to get answers and reassurance out of me!”
Y/N burst into tears, her sniffles now joining the sounds of his anguish. She wiped at her eyes vigorously (Something she did because she hated when people watched her cry).
“Dear god, stop with the tears already.”
If looks could kill, Tendou would be gutted, sliding against the wall of his room drowning in his own blood. The tears burned as they slid down Y/N’s face. The second Satori finished his sentence, he saw her heart shatter right before his very eyes. He didn’t have the right mindset to calm down and realize what he had just done. His chest was heaving with anger, but the look on Y/N’s face was finally snapping him back to reality.
She couldn’t even bring herself to say another word. She simply stood up from his bed and went to the front of his door where she had dropped all of her things. She picked everything up off the floor and opened the door.
“I’m going home. I’ll give you your fucking space.” She choked out.
She slammed the door to his room behind her and he could hear her footsteps retreating. He sank to the floor and brought his knees up to his chest, burying his face in his hands as he sobbed into his palms. His shoulders were racking with cries. He let out harsh screams into his hands and cursed at himself for hours. He fell asleep on the floor, phone in his hand.
He was waiting for her to text him that she had made it to her house safely, but it never came.
Ushijima sighed. As the water fell into the crater at the bottom of the vending machine, his tall figure stooped down to grab it and hand it to Tendou. He popped the cap open for him and shoved it in front of his face.
“Drink this. It’ll help you calm down.”
Tendou let out a shaky sigh and took a sip from the bottle with quivering lips, even as he sipped on the drink, he was sniffling and tears were still gliding down his cheeks. The red head lowered the bottle and now just held the cold drink in his clammy hands.
“You need to apologize to Y/N.” Ushijima stated. “What you said really hurt her feelings and not apologizing is what’s keeping you like this.”
Tendou sniffled. “I can’t lose her Wakatoshi. She’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I- I let bad habits from my past push her away from me.”
A soft grunt left Ushijima. Tendou looked up at his best friend with a newfound respect. “Go apologize to her. That’s what will make her realize that she misses you as much as you do her.”
Ushijima went back into the gym and left Tendou by himself. The silence gave him the willpower to realize that Ushijima was right. He needed to show her that he’s been a mess ever since he made her cry and he needed to get her back.
Tendou was quickly on the next bus to Karasuno. He knew that she would be at the practice helping them. So would the entire team, but they were an obstacle he was willing to overcome to get to her. The bus hissed and the brakes squeaked as he rushed off. He dashed over to the Karasuno gym. His ears rang with the sounds of volleyballs hitting the waxed gym floor. He threw the door open and the sound alone was enough to get everyone’s attention.
Tendou bowed quickly. “I need to speak with Y/N,” He blurted out. “Please.”
Y/N looked at him with wide eyes.
“You have got a LOT of fucking nerve to show up here after what you did Satori,” Daichi scowled from across the gym.
“Coach,” Y/N bowed. “I’m so sorry for the interruption. May I be excused for just a couple minutes?”
Ukai turned and looked at Tendou. He couldn’t help but think about how much this kid looked like shit. Serves him right for being the reason Y/N showed up to practice so sad. Not even Ukai could bear to look at her looking the way she did.
“You let us know if you need some help, alright? I’ll send Noya and Tanaka out there if you need anything.”
Noya and Tanaka puffed their chests out and walked their manager over to Tendou. Once she stepped out the door, Tanaka grabbed Tendou by the collar of the black hoodie he was wearing. Noya scowled and got up in Tendou’s face.
“Listen here, if she comes in here looking half as bad as she did a couple days ago, we will beat you into a fucking pulp.” Tanaka threatened,
“Our manager means everything to us, so the second that I hear a sniffle or a tear drop hit the floor, you better count the fucking seconds you have left before we beat your ass. And that’s a promise from the whole team.” Noya growled.
Tendou cleared his throat. He had so many smart comments to say to the two second years. But right now, the only thing that mattered was that he got to talk to Y/N.
“I’m here to set things right. I know how much she means to you monster children, but she means more to me. Now fucking let go of me,”
Tanaka shoved Tendou out of his grip and watched with narrow eyes as he stepped outside with Y/N. Contrary to popular assumption, the entire Karasuno team, including the coaches, went to the windows to listen in on their manager's conversation with Tendou. It was so wrong of them, and all of them knew that, but not only did they wanna make sure Y/N was okay, they needed to hear how apologetic that cocky Shiratorizawa blocker really was.
“Paradise, I came here to tell you how sorry I am about the other night. For me to push all of that frustration and fear onto you wasn’t right of me at all and you didn’t deserve to be yelled at the way you were.” Tendou began. “The second I saw those tears fall from your eyes I knew I fucked up. I-I was just so angry and I fell back into my old habit of just pushing everyone away. Now that I have you, I understand that I can’t do that anymore.”
Y/N looked up into his bloodshot orbs. He was being so sincere, she was glad he finally realized he fucked up. But she wasn’t going to just forgive him without speaking about what was on her mind. He needed to feel like shit for what he put her through.
“Thank you for finally speaking up about it. I was waiting for you to apologize.” She admitted. “Look, I know that I can get annoying with the questions I ask, I’ll give you that. But what you need to understand is that I’m throwing everything aside in my life, EVERYTHING, just so I can find solutions to your problems. All I ever want is to help you Satori, and for you to just blow up at me and fucking tell me you need space? You can’t tell me that there wasn’t room for me to think that you wanted to break up with me.”
Tendou froze. She really thought he was breaking up with her? Maybe that’s why she was as upset as she was, and why his words stung as much as they did. She thought that he was leaving her.
“I’m glad you realized that you were wrong. And thank you for apologizing to me. But I need to know that something like this isn’t going to happen again.”
Tendou stammered. For once, there was no snarky comment, no immediate answer for what she was asking of him. The middle blocker looked down at his feet, then he met her eyes.
“I’ll communicate with you more. I should’ve told you about my schools and everything and letting it build up wasn’t good at all. I’m going to be more upfront with you even about the things I’m scared to talk about. I can’t lose you Y/N, you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me; you’re my paradise.”
Her heart melted at his words. “I promise you, I will never ever make tears fall from those pretty eyes ever again. It broke my heart to see you leave so angry at me, and it hurt me even more to know that it was my fault. Please, please forgive me.”
She paused. Tears welled up in her eyes once more and Tendou’s face fell. She missed him so much and it had taken her so long to not go and find him, to grovel at his feet and apologize for leaving him the way she did.
She threw her arms around him and buried her face into his chest. He placed his head onto the top of her head and squeezed her tightly. He missed her so much.
“I missed you 'Tori,” She mumbled into his hoodie. “I’m so sorry,”
“Don’t apologize paradise, I’m just glad to have you back now. For good.”
Tendou lifted her chin up towards him and stooped down to place his lips onto hers. The slight chap on his lips meant nothing to her, she was just glad that she had her Satori back. She missed how his lips molded with hers. He missed having someone to run to when he was feeling down.
She was his everything. And he was so glad to not have lost her.

nah but just imagine reader rizzing asahi up like this
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
a rose for my lovely ace. — asahi azumane x fem!reader
"l-love, what are you..." asahi asks you all flustered, smiling widely like a dork, with a reddish hue streaking across his cheeks as you chuckle and hand him the rose you picked for him this morning. you smiled widely and clutched the guitar you serenaded him with in the middle of the school yard with, not caring about the onlookers who merely gawked at the sight of you romancing the scary, adult-looking third year who looked like a giant.
he sure was a giant, but he had an equally big heart that was soft underneath; so soft that he melted immediately when you got on one knee and handed him that rose. he loved roses, actually, but he wasn't that vocal about since nobody asked—nobody but you, his lovely girlfriend, knew and took advantage of that, picking the prettiest rose that bloomed in the school garden and handing it to the boy you loved dearly.
"isn't it obvious, asahi? i'm declaring my love to you to every doofus that sees us; that way... they all know that we're each others'." you declared confidently, smiling wider as asahi's blush worsened. he tugged on the ends of the cardigan you made him, his favorite one in fact, and he smiled even wider—stuttering repeatedly as he tried finding the right words to tell you, taking the rose from you with a shy 'thank you', sniffing it and smiling all sweetly and in love.
"h-how... how did i get so lucky, being with you?" he asked rhetorically as he giggled shyly, he was the epitome of a schoolboy in love. you chuckled and got on your feet, placing your hand underneath his sharp jawline and pulling him in gently for a passionate kiss on his lips. it was brief, though you showed in a billion ways how much you loved asahi in that kiss—and asahi couldn't ask for any more right now. he returned the kiss, his kiss being softer than yours, and when you two pulled away, he chuckled and felt over the petals of the rose gently and grinned from ear-to-ear.
"you're too perfect for me..." he mumbled, with you taking his hand and walking with him down the schoolyard, not caring about who stared; they deserve to feel jealous that such a sweet boy has such an equally sweet girl. "if i'm too perfect... then you're too perfect for words to describe, asahi." you whisper in his ear, kissing his cheek chastely, making his face go warm and red, with a dorky grin on his face that won't go away no matter how much sugawara and daichi tease him when he's back in class.
with the rose in his hand, asahi feels more loved than he's ever been—he feels more and more in love with you than he had already been in the beginning.

That Flower in the Field
Tumblr media
Chikara Ennoshita x fem! reader
Warning: some angst at first, moving on to more fluff later
Synopsis: You are a florist in a flower shop and Enno visits to get flowers for his mom and has turned into a regular
Word Count: 1,509
This is held post time skip and manga spoilers aren't included. I will include an OC that belongs to me.
Tumblr media
The bell sang as the door opened by your favorite customer. He became a regular that by now you knew some things about him. Like, how his hairstyle is always neat, his dark sleepy eyes that you love to stare at, where he worked, that he had an interesting hobby in directing, how he played volleyball in high school.
You sat on your stool with the bouquet of colorful flora ready to hand to him, only to see him enter with a little boy holding his hand.
Your little heart shattered into quadrillion pieces. Of course he would have a beautiful wife and a child. He indeed is charming in his own way. He also had a good paying job. You felt so dumb for falling head over heels with this man.
“Hello Ennoshita-kun, here to pick up these flowers?” You smile sadly.
“Oh, yes. I need them for tonight. Today is a very special day and they are needed.” He smiled softly at you, cheeks dusting pink.
Your e/c eyes started to water. You found it hard to breathe and the back of your throat started to tighten up. Your blood started to boil in jealousy. Whoever the woman is, she must be very happy.
“I see.” You try to comprehend what just happened.
“Hey, you are the florist that my brother talks about. He says that-”
The little boy was interrupted by his brother's hand covering his lips.
“That is enough that came out of your little mouth. I am so sorry about him.” He bowed.
“It's fine.” You smile a little.
So, the little boy is Ennoshita-kun’s brother. You thought.
He picked up the sweet scented flowers from the counter gently.
“Oh, by the way. I wanted to invite you to a party. That’s if you are possibly free tonight?” He rubbed the back of his head.
Your face lit up at the invitation, but you hid how awful you felt if you showed up. His wife could end up saying. She might think you are a girl trying to hit on her husband. You wanted to decline.
“Sure, I would love to come!” You cheerfully open your mouth without a clue what you were saying.
“Great! I will come and get you from the flower shop at six.” He waved at you, holding his little brother's tiny hand.
The bell rang as you were in your train of thoughts. What should I wear?
Meanwhile, Ennoshita got bombed with a TON of questions from his tiny brother.
“Why didn't you ask her out?” His voice whispered.
“Huh?”
“You like her, don't you?” He looked up at Ennoshita’s dark eyes.
“No!” He blushed.
“She knows about mommy's birthday, right?”
“I hope so.” Was all that came out of Ennoshita’s lips.
○◐❀❀❀❀❀❀◑○
“Oooh, this is exciting! He finally asked you out.” The blonde girl shreaked.
“Emiko, he didn't ask me out. He only invited me to a party, nothing else. We are only friends.”
You rummaged in the bag your best friend brought you with clothes for the party.
You found a pretty breath of spring dress in there, plus a pair of tan colored flats to wear along with the light green dress.
“But, you like him.” She frowned.
“Well, he doesn't. He got a bouquet of flowers from my shop, and let's just say he said they were for a special occasion, which is today.” You look at her warm brown eyes.
“Come on, y/n. Let's be optimistic about the situation. I am pretty sure he doesn't have a wife.” She placed her soft hands on your shoulders.
“I wish I could.” You look down at the tiles of the flower shop.
○◐❀❀❀❀❀❀◑○
“Do I look good?” Ennoshita frantically asked as he looked at himself up and down in the mirror.
“Sweetheart, I am pretty sure you do look great! You have already asked me and your baby brother twenty hundred times.”
“I know, I know. I just want to look great tonight. I mean I want to impress her and she is quite a charm just with casual clothing on.” He kept staring at himself.
“Dear, I am sure you will impress her. You two seem pretty in love with each other.”
His mother sat down in a soft chair with a lace texture. The cushions are a delicate lavender color.
She was sitting up nice and straight, head held up high.
Her pearl necklace was a charm to all the men out there, but Ennoshita’s father was the chosen one since they were very young, before they entered high school.
“I hope she does love me back.” He looked down at the wooden floor.
○◐❀❀❀❀❀❀◑○
The nice cool breeze blew right through his neatly placed hair, but not messing it up. The setting sun kissed his skin delicately as he walked towards the little shop filled with the most gorgeous scented flowers ever.
He opened the little red door to be welcomed in by the little chime of the golden bell.
“L/n-san, I am here.” He walked in quietly. You rush out of the back to see him in a white cardigan. A light sage colored polo matching his eyes wonderfully. Khakis make him look simply charming. Oh, why did you fall for this married man?
“You look like a prince.”
You held your mouth agape, mesmerized by his way of charming people without even trying. Well, you were the only one in this world.
“Really? Thanks, I guess. Ready to go?” He reached for your hand.
“Yes, I am.” You move your hand quickly away from his.
You didn't want to let his wife know you were some side chick of his or something of the sort.
○◐❀❀❀❀❀❀◑○
The two of you made it to a nice outside reception. The place is decorated with floral decorations with all the colors of the spectrum. The trees swayed in the wind, making emerald leaves come falling to the green blanket on the ground.
“Oh, Ennoshita-kun, this place is lovely! I bet your wife is in love with this party as much as she is with you.” You clasped your hands together.
“Huh? L/n-san, I don't have a wife at all.” His face flushed a tiny hue.
“Wait, you don't have a wife?”
Your face scrunched up in confusion. He would always have a ring on his ring finger with some initials carved into it. He had pictures of a woman in his wallet. You didn't know what else to think.
“Then, who is in the pictures in-”
“Those are of my mom and dad when they were around our age.” He showed them to you.
“Then, what about the ring you-”
“This is my dad's ring and he gave it to me as a gift for my fifteenth birthday.” He took it off.
“But, the flowers must be for-”
“I don't have a girlfriend either. These flowers are for my mom because it's my mother's birthday.” He extended the flowers out.
Your face turned a bright magenta on the spot. You had no words left in your brain. This whole time your blood boiled over a woman that never existed.
“I have one question still on my mind.” You step closer to him.
“Oh, umm yeah. What is it?” He looked away from you.
“Why would you invite me to your mom's birthday party?” You twist your foot around on the green blanket beneath your feet.
“Well, you are a very close friend of mine, so I decided-”
“Oh dear, stop with the lying already. You are indeed in love with the beautiful lady that stands right in front of you. Just stop and confess to her.” Ennoshita's mother walked into the scene.
“Mom! I- well- I…. Umm…. I don't want to make your birthday party all about me.” He looked at her.
“Come on, Chikara! I have been waiting for this moment. Make it as another birthday present for me.” She fixed her son's hair.
Ennoshita gave her a look that he gave at his mother's request.
He knelt down on one knee and held your warm hands into his. Your cheeks flushed a rosy tint before he could say a word.
“L/n-san, since I entered the flower shop to pick up a bouquet for my mother, you were the most beautiful flower in that whole garden. Your eyes gleamed like twinkling diamonds in the night sky. Your hair perfectly framed your face as I kept looking at you, examining every little detail. What I am trying to say is…” He looked down, cheeks as a crimson rose. “Ln-san, will you go out with me?”
Everything in that moment stopped or turned completely white out of the picture. Only you and Ennoshita are in the spotlight and everyone is a side character just like in the movies you watched in high school.
“Oh, Ennoshita-kun. I- yes!”
You jumped into a tight hug, almost making him collapse on the grass.
This marked the last time you doubted his love towards you.

No worries | T. Kei x F!reader
Warnings: Cursing, mentions of stress and insomnia, hints at pregnancy⚠️
An: repost from wattpad
Female reader.
Wc: 1,276
It's currently 2 in the morning and you're awake, deciding that right now is the perfect time to converse with Kei to ease your boredom due to the fact that you can't sleep, and all your tossing and turning has woken up your husband.
"Did you know what when you can't sleep it means someone's thinking about you." You break the silence after Kei told you to go back to bed.
"What the actual fuck Y/n." His voice was raspy from being woken up just now. "Go back to bed." He turns away from you.
"I already told you I can't sleep and I'm going to make it your problem too, Mr. Tsukishima." You poke his back, sending shivers down his spine, not only from your cold ass fingers, but because you tossed the blanket off of him.
He ignored you, hoping that if he pretended to fall asleep that you'd somehow, someway get tired and doze off yourself. However things didn't really like to go Kei's way, you sighed loudly and turned to your side again.
This wasn't out of the ordinary for you, when you'd get overly stressed or have important things to get done you often found yourself awake at ungodly hours of the night. Sometimes, if you're lucky, you'd get up to get a drink then fall right back asleep.
There were also those other times where no matter what you did, you couldn't go back to sleep. That's when he'd normally wake up and try his best to help you, often ending with the two of you going downstairs to watch tv and then after awhile you'd both fall asleep on top of another.
Knowing you weren't comfortable enough to fall back asleep worried him, he didn't want you to be up by yourself, suffering by yourself, his need to go back to sleep washed away quickly as his mind kept racing.
"You still awake?" He asks, already knowing the answer.
"Yes." You sigh.
Now he knows somethings up, he wished he caught on it before bed. This was going to cost you both in the morning when you had to get ready for the day.
"What's wrong?" He scoots closer to you, enough to to drape an arm over you, showing you he wasn't going back to bed and was here to listen. "'Nd don't say 'nothing', okay? None of that shit."
There was no stalling when it came to your husband, he preferred to get straight to the point, especially when it came with any inconvenience involving you.
"Do you think we should move closer to your family?" You ask.
This wasn't really what he was expecting, but at the same time he wasn't sure what to expect.
"Is this what you're worried about?" He scoffs lightly.
This wasn't all that you were worried about. "It's just—I don't like knowing we have to live so far away because of my job."
"That's a stupid thing to be worried about, I've told you I don't mind it, plus it's only about 2 hours away."
You frown in the darkness, pouting. Kei seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to you because he feels you pout.
"Don't pout." His thumb comes to touch your lower lip, then caressing your cheek. "I'm really okay with it."
"But—"
"No. None of that, don't be stressing about this, okay? They understand why." He explains, now running your shoulder softly with his thumb.
"I want to be closer to them... I emailed my boss for potential job opportunities over there." You confess.
"Is that what you want?" He feels you nod softly from being so close to him. "I won't stop you, but that means I'm going to have to start looking over there too."
"I already know you've been looking at jobs over there."
"Is that why you want to move? I was honestly just looking because houses are cheaper over there, not because I miss my family." He chuckles lightly. "Who needs Akiteru?"
"Kei." You pout again.
"Kidding." He presses a soft kiss to your forehead. "I wanted to get your opinion on it, but I wanted to wait until I can even find a job there. Didn't wanna get your hopes up."
He feels you sigh again, now you’re hugging him, finding relaxation by hearing his heartbeat.
"That all?" He asks.
You hate lying to him, but you can't tell him your little secret yet. "Yeah."
"You're keeping me up, Mrs. Tsukishima." He yawns. "Can't believe I'm stuck with you idiot."
"You married me." You giggle, pressing multiple kisses on his cheeks and chin.
"What an unfortunate arrangement." He clicks his tongue.
"You proposed to me."
"A moment of weakness." You gasp at him, pushing his face away from the warmth of your neck.
"I'm going to sleep downstairs." You pretend to be mad at him. He groans and keeps you from moving, hugging your waist, preventing you from leaving. "Let go! Don't squeeze so hard." You wriggle out of his grasp.
"Don't make me go downstairs, come back."
"I'll be back, I just need to get some water." You say and he nods, getting up to use the bathroom while he waits for you. Your stomach grumbled, which wasn't surprising to you.
Your period completely skipped last month which was very odd for you. It's not like you were trying to be careful, you both agreed that if it happened it'd happen. You knew he wasn't opposed to children, he openly talked about wanting a family at some point.
This has also been keeping you up at night, plus the thought of having a child so far away from both of your families stressed you out.
You haven't taken a test, but you also haven't been feeling the best. There's no doubt in your mind that you're pregnant, which is keeping you up now. The pantry was the first thing you looked at once you went downstairs.
Something easy and quick to eat seemed reasonable, grabbing the closest thing to you and downing it, then taking a glass of water back upstairs.
"What took you so long, thought you were only getting water?" He asks as you came back into the room, getting back in the bed.
"I got a quick snack, you miss me?" You tease. "I wasn't gone for too long, awww you poor baby."
He clicked his tongue, "Get in bed. We both have work tomorrow and it's almost 4."
"I forgot about work." You groan. "Sorry for keeping you up, now you're going to be exhausted tomorrow."
"Don't apologize. I have a sixth sense with you, I could tell it was something serious keeping you up." He smiled softly, you're sure he's really tired because he probably would've called you an idiot after assuring you, but he didn't.
Now you're staring to feel a bit tired, you don't have to be up until 10, but Kei has to be up earlier than you.
"Let's go to bed now." You say after taking a sip of your water. He yawns and gets settled into bed, pulling you close to his chest.
"I love you." He whispers to you, only wanting you to hear. It was for your ears only.
"I love you too." You trace figures on his chest, helping to ease your worries and take your mind off of things. You know he won't be upset to hear about the pregnancy, now it's mostly excitement rushing through you.
Everything's going to be okay as long as you have your husband by your side.

Here’s how Karasuno would help you when you are on your period.
When you told him that you’re on your period he definitely did a whole bunch of research about it so he could help you as much as possible. You definitely started craving something at 2am and he got it for you. He would probably cuddle you when your cramps are super bad.
Asahi, Tsukishima, Ennoshita, and Daichi
He found you curled up in fetal position on the bed and asked you what’s wrong. When you told him he got a bit flustered but understood that it’s natural. He doesn’t let you get up unless you have to pee because he doesn’t like the idea of you in pain. He gets you a heated blanket and cuddles you while you two eat ice cream and watch tv.
Kageyama, Nishinoya, Yamaguchi, Narita
He already knows how to help with your period because he was taught as a kid to help the girls in times like this. He knows that you just want to be cheered up so he kisses your forehead and lets you fall asleep. Once your asleep he goes to the store to buy you favorite candy and some pads/tampons. He puts it on your night stand along with water and pain killers and falls asleep with you.
Sugawara, Hinata, Tanaka, Kinoshita
Tsukishima would probably let you wear his clothes even if they get bloody. The first time that happened you felt so bad and he repeatedly told you it’s ok until you stopped crying. (Hormones suck)
AHHHHHHHH Idk why I wrote this 😭 I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless

Being Karasuno's Manager:
Yaku Falls for Miss Manager
Tumblr media
Yaku Morisake featuring Nekoma and Karasuno x Female Manager
Warnings: light swearing, fluff
A/N: This is an request from @lilacveiledsea!
Ahh Yn you are one lucky lady
Seriously Yaku 🥰 he’s such a sweetheart
Demon senpai to some but not to our precious Angel Yn
You unfortunately fortunately were the 2nd year manager for our lovely bby crows
Kiyoko didn’t want to leave you alone so she said you should get another manager 😂
Honestly such a caring move
And trust me, you’ll need it
Not only managing the demon first years but our feral second years as well
But it’s all good because these boys adore you so much
Your relationship was strictly platonic with all of them, despite their very visible crush on you
Honestly, you preferred someone a little more… mature?
Sure let’s go with that 😌
So before Yachi joined the crew it was just you and Kiyoko
Dream team honestly
Kiyoko dealt with all the technical things and you, well you dealt with the children
You and Daichi were a dream team
Daichi was the hard ass disciplinarian and YN was out sweet, consoling angel
“HEY DORKS CUT THAT OUT!” Daichi would scream
“Please be careful! We don’t want you to get hurt!” You’d add
It honestly was so perfect
The atmosphere around Golden week was so exciting
The boys were ready to face their unknown rivals, Nekoma
This was the first time they would be facing Nekoma so everyone was fired up
When you arrived, Kiyoko took care of monitoring the children while you began to gather the water bottles
The crew was talking with Nekoma, Daichi and Kuroo being BeStIeS 🤪
Tanaka and Yamamoto being weirdly twin like and Asahi being the scary, non-scary person scaring all the children
You noticed Suga was talking with someone who looked to be the Libero of Nekoma
You didn’t really have a chance to look at him because you were busy carrying things
BUT 👀 trust when I say he definitely saw you
The sunshine’s on your beautiful hair, you started to glow and Yaku absolutely fell in love
You smiled as Ennoshita offered to help you, Yaku becoming jealous that the smile wasn’t for him
“She’s cute right?” Suga interrupted his thoughts 🙃
“Uhh yeah, who is she?” Yaku questioned, eyes still watching you
“She’s our second year manager AND she’s single,” wing man Suga says
“Good to know,” Yaku says as you walk into the gym
Inside is when you first noticed Yaku watching you
You noticed how cute he was and you blushed when your eyes met his
Suga 👉🏻👀 📝
Kiyoko 👉🏻😐😳😏
team work makes the dream work 💅
“Hey YN why don’t you ask Nekoma if they need help with their water bottles?” Kiyoko suggests as your eyes widen
“O-ok,” you say, turning to head over to them
Nekoma watches you approach
Kuroo smirks
Yamamoto faints
And Yaku, Yaku stares 👁️👄👁️
“Hey, umm I’m YN and I was wondering if you needed help with the water bottles?” You as ask Coach Nekomata nodded and thanked you
Inuoka was just about to ask if you needed help when Yaku spoke up
“ILL HELP!” He may have yelled a little louder
Kai and Kenma 👉🏻👀👀
Kuroo 👉🏻🤨😏
You 👉🏻😳 ok-
Please he was so cute!
“Here let me carry those for you,” Yaku says as you nod
Kiyoko, Suga and Kai 👉🏻😍😍😍
“Is it just me or is Nekoma’s Libero hitting on Yn?” Daichi asks
Tanaka and Noya 👉🏻🔥👄🔥
Meanwhile-
“Thank you so much for helping me,” you blush as you continue to fill water bottles
“Call me Morisuke please,” Yaku says with a smile
“Thank you Mori,” you say
Yaku dies 😫
As you walk back to the gym, you enter and EVERYONE is looking at you
“Uhh what happened?” You ask Yaku
Yaku 👉🏻😐😑
Please he knows what’s going on
“It’s nothing Yn, they literally are all just sharing one braincell and it’s not functioning right now,” he says as you giggle a little
Yaku 👉🏻 💀
While you observed the game, you continued to sneak glances at Yaku
He didn’t pay much mine but again he was in the game but during timeouts 👀 Yaku would practically stare at you
You blushed as Tanaka and Noya growled
“Knock it off!” You said smacking their heads, “don’t ruin this for me!”
The team 👉🏻😐😳
“Dang Yn and Daichi did a switch,” Yamaguchi said as Tsukki nodded
After the game, Suga and Yaku talked while Noya stared at Yaku
“You are an excellent Libero, even if you are annoying when you stare at OUR Yn,” he says as he runs away
“Ignore him! YN doesn’t belong to anyone,” Suga adds
Yaku nods as he looks over to you as you help clean up
As the boys are prepared to leave, Yaku says ‘it’s now or never’
He runs to you, as you stop and stare
“YN can I have you phone number?” Yaku asks as you smile and nod
“I’d like that!”
Yaku literally swoons as you type your number into his phone
“I’ll text you later!” Yaku yells as he runs back to the team and waves to you
Suga and Kiyoko 👉🏻🥹 our baby is growing up
You smile ad you walk back to your team who are all watching you
“Please don’t make this weird?” You groan as you get on the bus and the team follows asking you a million question
What you don’t realize is Yaku is going through the same thing
Yet he doesn’t regret getting your number, quickly going to text you
“Hey Yn it’s Mori 🙂”

At the end of your final year in high school, you realize that falling in love with Asahi Azumane will be just about the easiest thing you will ever do.
He’s the sweetest boy you have ever met. Rushes to open doors, always offers to pay, and listens so intently when you speak, as if the words that left your lips were the most important thing he’d ever hear.
He scares you because of this. You’re not used to genuine nice boys, surely not used to them being interested in you; you’ve had your fair share of players and heartbreak which made you think this was the price of falling in love.
“Why are you so nice to me?” you ask him.
He’s driving you home, it’s late at night and he’s so startled by the question he makes his turn a little wider than usual. He almost laughs and you don’t remember exactly what he answers. But it was something, along the lines of why would I be anything else?
Asahi scares you. More than spiders, more than heights, more death, more than anything, this boy scares you. Because you realize you like his laugh more than you do your own. That you'll say just about anything to get him to smile. That no matter if it’s ten minutes or five hours you’ve spent with him you’ll always want more. Asahi scares you. Because falling in love with Asahi is the easiest thing you will ever do. And by the time you realize, it already happened, you don't even mind

~Mod Shoyo <3
The bright lights of Shiratorizawa’s gym hurt Y/N’s eyes as she walked inside. Today, the volleyball club was going to be hosting a late night practice. Normally, Friday nights were reserved for date nights between Y/N and Satori, but she never ever minded coming to watch Tendou practice. There was no hiding how she really felt about watching him practice.
It got her going.
Something about her tall, lanky boyfriend sweating his ass off playing sports just did something to her. She was well aware of this feeling and found it slightly funny every time Satori tried to push practice to the side for her. “Now, why would you do that, ‘Tori? Volleyball is your passion. I really don’t mind staying for a couple hours to watch you and then getting to hang out with you after!”
Tendou always appreciated Y/N so much more when she said things like that. Little did he know that he was only fueling her drive to chase him. To jump his bones the second that he was finished with his practice. Tonight was no different. Y/N came waltzing into the gym in her black t-shirt dress, her eyes darting across every single body she saw to search for her boyfriend. The second that Tendou noticed her, his posture stiffened and he made a bee-line straight towards her.
“Well, look at you in that black dress of yours,” Tendou flirted, his tone light and playful but his voice was resting in a deeper part of his throat. “Don’t you look delicious.”
Y/N blushed and stood on her tippy toes to kiss him. He smirked against her kiss and brought his right arm around her waist to pull her close to him while his other arm carried his water bottle. The second they pulled away, she could already feel herself getting riled up. His normally spiked up hair was sitting slightly damp now. Most of it was still intact, but some of the front strands were sticking to his forehead, absolutely drenched in sweat.
“How’s practice going, baby?” Y/N smiled, her eyes too focused on his sweat than his actual ruby orbs.
“Coach had us do some punishments because Goshiki didn’t receive a ball correctly,” Tendou tossed a look over to Goshiki who was cowering in a corner, gripping a ball tightly in between his hands cursing himself. “Other than that, It’s going pretty average.”
Y/N smiled and nodded her head. “Well, go knock ‘em dead baby, I’ll be right here watching!”
Tendou grinned from ear to ear and stooped down to press one last kiss to her lips. As Tendou turned on his heel to start running back, Y/N leaned forward and laid a harsh slap on his ass to motivate him. Tendou turned slowly with a smirk and walked back towards her. He towered over her like a skyscraper, looking down on her with the most shit-eating grin she’d ever seen.
“My turn.”
Before she had any time to think, Satori's hand was unleashing the most pain-inducing, heartstopping, panty dropping slap on her ass. She yelped and listened to the sound echo throughout the gym. His palm remained on her right cheek, she could feel his fingers curl up and feel around. He jumped slightly, then leaned down to get his lips right next to her ear.
“You dirty girl,” He whispered huskily. His voice sent shivers down her spine and she could feel the heat between her legs growing. “No panties huh? And were you thinking about telling me?” Y/N gulped and turned to the side slightly.
“It was supposed to be a surprise after practice.”
Tendou hummed. He turned on his heel once more and walked away. His shoes squeaking against the gym floor slowly dissipating gave her the ‘okay’ to finally relax. Y/N made her way over to one of the courtside benches and took a seat. With her legs crossed, she let her eyes linger on her red-head boyfriend.
The middle blocker was working overtime tonight. His guesses were on point, every single possible hunch he could have had about a spiker’s decisions were completely right. She could only imagine the type of psycho-analysis that was going on in his head right now, how meticulous he had to be in order to block everyone on the other side of the net.
She was wrong.
Tendou was on his game because he knew that she was watching him. He could feel her eyes lingering on him, only paying attention to his movements and no one else’s. Who was she, to sit on that damn bench with no panties on in front of all of his teammates. He could only imagine the juices that were marinating in her cunt right now, he was salivating at the thought of it. His hunger was only fueling his movements, a snide smirk resting on his face.
One of the managers rushed around giving all of the players’ some towels to wipe themselves off. Once Tendou was handed his own, he turned slightly and noticed Y/N had taken some extra interest in watching him. He scoffed and pressed the towel against his forehead and neck, wiping off all the remnants of his hard work. Y/N licked her lips and didn’t let her gaze falter for a second. Tendou’s legs carried him over towards his girlfriend once more. His aura was radiating pure starvation. He couldn’t even keep eye contact with her for more than a millisecond before letting his eyes drop down to her crossed legs. He could feel himself get hard just knowing that he was the only one that got to spread those legs. To see what was beyond her gorgeous thighs.
He tossed the towel at her nonchalantly. “Hold this for me, would you baby? Just a little while longer.”
Y/N was quick to catch the towel and let it rest in her lap. She could feel herself getting warmer, at this point she started to regret not wearing underwear. She knew that she was going to spill the juices that Satori claimed as his all over the floor once she stood up, but for right now. At this very moment. She could care less. Her mind was turning into mush, and it didn’t help that Tendou would toss her looks in between practice sets.
Her pussy was aching. Tendou had been her very first intimate partner, and she loved the idea that her pussy was molded into a hole that fit his dick perfectly. She was growing more restless by the second, counting down each second that went by that Tendou wasn’t rearranging her intestines. Finally, like a bright light shining down from the heavens, practice was called to an end and everyone started to pack up the equipment and their things. Once everyone was finally done with their chores, Tendou slowly made his way back to his girlfriend.
“Can I see that towel in your lap, pretty girl?” Tendou grinned, holding his hand out in front of her. She nodded and dropped the towel into his palm. “Thank you darling~”
As Tendou wiped his face again, Y/N was fuming. Her entire body was quivering with nothing short of pure lust for Satori. And the worst part of it all, was she knew that he was teasing her. He was dragging his feet when he walked, he was taking his time to get each individual bead of sweat off of his face, he knew that she was dying for his touch.
“Alright baby, let’s go. Are you ready?” Y/N didn’t give him any time to change his mind. She was off the bench and ready to go with her purse at the sound of his voice.
Tendou chuckled and draped an arm loosely around her shoulders, pulling her close to him as he slung his duffel bag over his left shoulder. They had finally made it outside the gym. Sure, they only took one step outside, but Y/N was practically dizzy with how much fresh air was hitting her face right now. Before they could walk any further, Tendou stopped them both in their tracks.
“Oops! I forgot my jacket on the bench, I’ll be right back love,”
Y/N was fed up. She was seething, begging to be touched and he kept setting them back. She looked to her left and noticed a corner that the lights weren’t hitting. She moved into the shadows and waited patiently for Tendou’s figure to walk out the door. After watching most of his teammates leave with their bags and set off on their journey’s back home, Y/N was ready to get what she wanted.
The second she could smell his after-practice musk, she grabbed hold of his arm and yanked him into the corner with her. Tendou looked down at her with a cocky smirk and raised an eyebrow. “And what’s this about?” She looked up into his fiery ruby orbs and made no sound.
Her fingers grabbed hold of the band of his practice shorts and looped a finger into the band of his briefs before using all the strength she had to yank them down his legs. His cock sprung to life before her very eyes and she found some sort of relief in knowing that he was just as worked up as she was. She licked her lips and nearly drooled at his feet just at the mere sight. His tip was swollen, his shaft curved upwards, it was a gorgeous sight to see. Tendou gulped before finally speaking.
“Suck it.”
Y/N had already gathered up all the spit she could in her mouth. She spat onto his cock and didn’t even bother to start to stroke him. She took his entire dick in her mouth and felt his tip hit the back of her mouth. She had no strength to push her legs together anymore and slowly just let them spread apart. Her knees were starting to burn from the small rocks and pebbles that had littered the sidewalk, but she was too busy drowning in her horniness to care. The guttural groan that left Tendou’s mouth as she deep throated him was enough to send her over the edge. Her head was bobbing up and down his shaft, her lips gliding across his drenched cock.
“Fu-fuck baby. Take this cock like a good girl,” Tendou sighed heavily. “Fuck, you suck me off so good baby.”
The words of encouragement egged her on, pushing her to grip whatever wasn’t covered by her mouth with her hands and begin to stroke while she sucked. Tendou nearly banged his head into the wall from the immense pleasure that took over him. He was trying so hard not to cum down her throat as fast as he wanted to. Y/N knew that he was holding himself back, but she didn’t bother to berate him or tease him for it. What mattered was that she had his cock in her mouth and she was going to swallow every last drop of cum he had to offer.
She could feel him twitch in her mouth, every vein that was ready to burst getting eased with the coolness of her saliva. She deep throated once more and felt some pre-cum slide down her tongue. She pulled her mouth off of his dick, still stroking him with one hand while she popped his cleanly shaven balls in her mouth. Tendou clamped a hand over his mouth to try and prevent the loud groan that fell from his lips; even covered by his hand his moan was loud enough to get some stares.
Y/N moved back up to eye-level with his cock and spread her hot mouth all over it once more. She bobbed her head as fast as she could, feeling his dick twitch faster than before. It wasn’t until Tendou’s sweet groan entered her ears that she realized he had painted the back of her throat with his cum. She pulled herself off of his dick for the last time, snot falling from her nose, tears falling from her damp eyelashes and down her swollen cheeks.
Tendou looked down and moved her loose hair out of her face, watching her tongue fall out of her mouth still covered in his cum. Within a second, she swallowed whatever of his load was leftover in her mouth and let her body slump. Tendou noticed her relaxed nature and immediately lifted her up into his arms.
“Don’t think this is over. I’m going to fuck the shit out of you when we get back to my dorm.” Y/N laid in his arms completely lifeless, her mind still only focused on the pleasure she had given her boyfriend just now.
She had no concept of time, or even realized how much time she had taken to suck him off outside of the gym, but none of it mattered. It wasn’t until he threw her onto his bed that she snapped back to reality. Her hair was a mess, her face was flushed with a red color, her legs could barely stay closed. Tendou was huffing, heavily breathing as he threw his shirt over his head and tugged his boxers down once more. He didn’t bother to take Y/N’s dress off. What was the point if he had easy access anyways?
“I’m going to fuck the shit out of this pussy,” Tendou growled, pressing lazy kisses to the sides of her neck. “My pussy.”
Y/N’s ears were ringing. The second she felt his lips on her neck her entire body went into shock. She felt so sensitive, anywhere he touched immediately made her quiver. She wanted to take every piece of clothing off of her, she felt like she was roasting in 100 degree summer heat. Tendou’s long, slender fingers wrapped around her knees and yanked her legs apart. His eyes widened and he stared at her glistening pussy like it was a gift given to him by god. And it was. Tendou licked his lips and fell to his knees. He gripped the backs of her legs and pulled her to the edge of his bed, her pussy right in his face.
He wasted no time in diving his tongue in between her folds. The tip of his tongue flicked her clit before gathering up some of her wetness like a spoon. He was eating her up like a starved man, smacking his lips and burying his face in her. Her noises were enough to wake up every single member of his team in the building, but that was the least of his worries. He had a cunt, shining with pure excitement  under the lights right in front of him, and it was all his. His dick was so painfully hard and he wanted nothing more than to just slam it inside of her, but she was dying to suck him off, and he would be lying if he said that he wasn’t dying to feast on her pussy.
“Te-Tendou, please,” Y/N whined. “Please just fuck me, I-I can’t take it anymore.” Her words stopped his actions. She whined from the loss of friction and his swift motions.
He stood up and wiped his mouth of whatever juices she left on his lips. He had never heard anything more sexy than her pleads for him to fuck her in all his life. He smiled from ear to ear and came down to press his lips onto hers. “Whatever you want, baby. Your wish is my command.”
Tendou lined himself up with her entrance. He slowly started to push his tip into her. Once just his tip had been swallowed by her cunt, he grabbed hold of her hips tightly and bucked his hips so hard into hers that she nearly screamed. The harsh slap of his balls slapping against her skin made a clapping noise, and he started to pound into her like his life depended on it. The sound of her loud moans only fueled him to keep drilling his cock into her. He leaned down and buried his face in her chest, loving the feeling of her tits bouncing in his face. He pulled himself out of her and lifted her into his arms. He sat down on the edge of his bed and sat her on his lap. Y/N got the picture and quickly slammed herself onto his dick.
“God damn, Y/N. Ride this dick, take this dick like a good girl.”
Y/N sank her teeth into his shoulder as she bounced up and down on his cock. She could feel the coil in her stomach slowly unraveling with every slap their sweaty bodies made. She pulled her face out of his neck to see that his eyebrows were furrowed, the groans leaving his mouth nearly making her cream on their own. Tendou grabbed a fistful of her hair into a makeshift ponytail and held it up for her, the breeze that hit her neck sending goosebumps down her hot skin.
Tendou could feel that she had gotten tired of picking herself up, his hands moved down to her hips and gripped them so hard that she was sure his fingers would be bruised into her skin. He held her up and thrusted as fast as he could, his balls slapping against the bottom of her ass with every move. Y/N dug her nails into his back, sure that she drew blood with how hard she was holding him.
She lowered herself back down onto him once more and simply served as a hole for him to fuck himself with. He moved her at his own tempo, lifting her body up and down his cock with the strength he had. Her legs quivered and she could feel herself getting close.
“To- Tori, Im gonna,” She couldn’t even finish her sentence before it was drowned out with the harmonious sounds of their moans joining together.
“Let it go love, cream all over this cock for me.” Tendou practically yelled through clenched teeth.
Within seconds, both of their moans joined together once more for a grand finale. Y/N’s body fell limp, her bare chest resting on top of his. Tendou was still twitching inside of her, his hands coming up to caress her back lovingly. After a few minutes that way, Y/N finally sat up to pull herself off of his dick. The sight she was met with nearly made her want him to fuck her again, but she was far too tired.
Satori’s ruby eyes focused on her pussy as she pulled herself off. Strands of their combined cum looked like strings holding their two bodies together. Y/N relaxed and Tendou could see a cluster of his cum slide out of her pussy and down the sides of her legs.
Tendou reached into his drawer and grabbed some cool wet wipes to clean themselves off, he handled his lover with such care, feeling her jump every time he brought the wipe anywhere near her still sensitive pussy. Tendou moved every article of clothing that sat on top of his covers off and threw it somewhere into the corner of the room. He grabbed Y/N’s waist and pulled her next to him, helping her get under the covers and into his arms.
“That’s probably the best sex we have ever had.”
Y/N nodded, barely able to catch her breath. “I feel so much better now,”
Tendou just chuckled and pressed his lips lazily against her own. “I love you baby, with all of my heart. Thank you for always being so devoted to pleasuring me.”
She smiled and pressed a kiss against his lips before nuzzling into his neck. “I love you Satori,”
The two of them yawned, falling asleep within seconds. Satori felt his entire body finally truly relax, and knowing that she would be here in his arms in the morning made his sleep that much better.
He thought to himself that maybe every date night should end like this, but he knew he would never hear the end of that conversation.

Panels. | Series
panel. in manga art, panels refers to the frame that wraps around one moment in time.
********************************************************
an original Haikyū AU pairing Udai Tenma (the og little giant)
warning!!: containing some manga content.
word count: 6790
********************************************************
Panel - 8
Udai sat at his desk, the dim light of the lamp casting a warm glow over his workspace. His fingers flicked across the keyboard, jotting down notes and ideas as they came to him.
He was working hard on the rough sketch of the whole plot twist, and his enthusiasm for the story had reached new heights. He felt like a conductor, orchestrating the characters and events of his manga into a grand symphony of emotion and excitement.
The idea of a human organization behind the outbreak of zombies had opened up a new world of possibilities for him, and he was determined to make the most of it.
Udai’s mind raced with possibilities as he sketched out the rough outline of the new plot twist. He added notes about how the organization would interact with the other characters, and how it would affect the climax of the story.
As he worked, Udai felt a great sense of satisfaction, knowing that he was creating something unique and exciting. He had always loved manga, and now he was finally making one of his own.
But at the same time, he felt the weight of responsibility on his shoulders. He knew that he had to make the story work, had to craft characters and situations that would keep readers intrigued and engaged.
Udai worked through the night, barely stopping to eat or rest. He was consumed by his vision, and he knew that he had to do everything he could to bring it to life.
As morning approached, Udai put down his pen and leaned back, admiring his handiwork. The rough sketch was complete, and he felt a sense of pride and accomplishment wash over him.
Udai had barely slept a wink, so consumed was he with his rough sketch of the plot twist.
Satisfied with his accomplishment, Udai took his phone out and took a photo of his work which he sent to his editor.
To : Akaashi Keiji
05.51 - *attachment*
05.52 - Perfectly wrapped!! >.<
Udai was still surprised by the fact that his editor would even still be there to reply to him in the early morning, still wondering what time he actually woke up.
From : Akaashi Keiji
05.54 - Congratulations.
However, even being a super fast-responding editor, there was no excitement that he could capture from his reply. Akaashi Keiji was indeed a flat man, unsurprisingly. Udai vowed to bet that so far, he had only ever seen two punctuation marks on any of his messages. Well, it wasn’t like he expected a message to be more expressive.
To : Akaashi Keiji
05.55 - Let’s meet, Akaashi-san!
05.55 - I’ll show you the details and everything. You’re definitely gonna love it for 120%, Akaashi-san!!
05.56 - And please show some excitement to cheer me up -_-
From : Akaashi Keiji
05.58 - I’m excited.
Exactly.
To : Akaashi Keiji
05.59 - I’ll meet you up at 7 or 8 in café B
05.59 - Give me some time to at least pretty myself before meeting you. I need to look competent.
From : Akaashi Keiji
06.00 - At seven, in café B.
Udai sighed, “As expected from our Akaashi Task-Focus Keiji-san.”
As soon as the sun had risen, Udai was already on his way to meet with Akaashi at the scheduled time. He couldn’t wait to show off what he'd created.
As he sat in the café, sipping on a warm cup of coffee, Udai could feel the excitement building up inside him. He pulled out his sketch and slid it across the table to Akaashi.
“Good morning, Akaashi-san! Good day today!”
Akaashi greeted with his casual trademark politely, “Good morning, Udai-san.”
Although Akaashi may seem ignorant and strict, he was actually a nice guy on the other side. It was no surprise that he took the time to order another coffee in advance. Saving Udai the hassle of wasting time queuing up alongside the formal office hours chasers lining up before the ordering counter, not to mention that he pretty much knew what Udai would order and ordered that.
But, honestly, Udai was still wondering if Akaashi was really that considerate or if all along, it was just something he did to save time. Remembering that they were here about work, and Akaashi Keiji is Akaashi Task-Focus Keiji in the first place.
After some simple pleasantries, Udai pulled out a tab and handed it to Akaashi. Then, those hopeful seconds rolled around.
Akaashi took a sip of his own coffee and studied Udai’s work, his eyes narrowing in concentration. Udai waited eagerly for his reaction, hoping for praise and approval.
But instead, Akaashi was quiet for a long time. Finally, he spoke.
“Alright. I’m done reading.” Akaashi said, taking a sip of his coffee.
Udai nodded, shifting closer so that he could get what significant change to hear Akaashi clearer. His little notebook was ready, a pen was ready on his mark.
“First off, I think the pacing could be improved. The introduction of the human organization behind the outbreak should be more gradual, to build suspense and tension.”
Udai frowned in concentration. Pen brushing against the paper of his notebook as he writes everything his editor was mentioning thoroughly. His eyes distractedly scanning over the panel that Akaashi was talking about.
“I see,” he said, “what else, Akaashi-san?”
Akaashi took another sip of his coffee before continuing. “Also, I think the character motivations need to be clearer. Right now, they feel a bit muddled and inconsistent.”
Udai felt a sense of frustration. He thought he'd understood his characters perfectly, but now it seemed like he had to go back to the drawing board.
“I see…” he paused, thinking about something, then nodded, “I get it,” he said.
Akaashi leaned back in his chair. “That’s all from me.”
Udai nodded.
“But don’t worry, Udai-san. These are small tweaks that can be easily fixed. And besides, the overall concept of the story is still strong. I think you have something special here.”
Udai took a deep breath, feeling a bit reassured. Akaashi was right — the story was still rough around the edges, but it had the potential to be great. They’ve talked about this before and agreed that this was a promising twist to end the whole story with.
“I sure get it, Editor-san.”
********************************************************
Udai let out a sigh as he rummaged through his drawer, searching for a pen. But as he dug deeper, his hands brushed against something soft and familiar
A small, old notebook, brown in color.
Udai felt a pang of nostalgia as he picked up the notebook, the one he used to carry with him everywhere back then in highschool. It was quite a multifunctional notebook as it could be something he would write some scratches of mathematical scribble or just something he would use to fool his Japanese teacher about his invisible homework. And then, he also uses this small notebook to pour some fragments of his lame, cringe, stupid ideas as just an inexperienced high-schooler.
The panels that filled some of the pages were fading, fragile with time. The once vibrant images that filled the empty panels have almost disappeared, no longer echoing those voices he remembered in the back of his mind.
As he flipped through the pages, memories flooded back to him—of his first ever manga to be created; the first one he was dared to share the public with, while on the other side of the fragile page was a sketch that once he tried so hard to hide from Akaashi.
Her. His first ever drawing of Tsubasa, his first inspiration, the main protagonist of his first manga.
He remembered it.
It was nothing more like his current work with all the darkness and grayness of zombies and conflicts that are hard to digest. Back then, his first manga was a cringe-worthy story about a schoolboy romance ignited by the feelings that blossomed in pink.
Unlike Zombie Knight that sold hundreds of millions of copies worldwide, his first manga was only rewarded with a small panel at the end of a weekly newspaper, the result of his gambling with fate that won him a lucky break.
About his first manga, Udai never said that he was particularly skillful, or that the story was particularly good. Instead, there were many weaknesses in his first manga. But back then, everything was pink, because beside him, there was always a warm whisper of reminder to always appreciate himself.
She had been there with him during those early days, encouraging him and supporting him when he was just starting out.
How cruel time had been.
It consumed all the panels containing the fragments of his ideas on those fragile sheets, yet, it seemed reluctant to take away the depiction of his first love, as if it was determined to keep punishing him with agony.
His chest ached, tight with regret that he could not put into words. Even a thousand apologies would not be able to contain his regret for what he could not repeat.
About the last time, yes, Udai was surprised because he didn’t expect that Tsubasa would be one of the million readers-not to mention, fans-of his manga. He wasn’t sure how he would sum up his feelings after gathering them all one by one.
There was something about this that excited him; that she read his manga, and even took some time to read his manga in between her presumably hectic work. It was a small victory, something that meant so much to him.
It was certainly something to be proud of, not only as a creator who managed to turn the world of one of his readers from time to time, as a Senpai who managed to gain the sincere support of one of his Kohai, but also as... someone who worked hard to realize one of the dreams they had once shared together in the early days.
However, something about this also made his chest tight.
The fact that she was the one who knew the most about his journey from the scratch, and still continued to be one of his readers until he was at this high made his heart clenched.
The door that led him to go back no longer existed.
That time, frustrated with what fate could not give him, frustrated that his hand could not reach an opportunity he desperately wanted to grasp, Udai lost his ability to distinguish between red and green.
The words that came out of his mouth, drumming like thunder, shutting down the only access he had.
One day, when there was a chance to turn everything back, he still put his ego first though a large part of him was fighting to be released from his binding pride, to return to the panel where the two of them were connected, to her.
Later on, when he encountered the last chance indifferently, the last access he had to return simply disappeared.
If only he could—
Udai shook his head, trying to clear his mind. He had work to do—work that Akaashi had pointed out needed improvement. He couldn’t let himself get distracted by thoughts of Tsubasa.
With renewed focus, Udai set to work. He spent hours poring over his sketch, making the changes that Akaashi had suggested. He adjusted the pacing, worked on making the character motivations clearer, and tightened the overall structure of the story.
As he worked, Udai found that his mind kept wandering back to Tsubasa.
He wondered if she was reading his manga now in between something she would be doing on her desk, if she would be proud of him for chasing his dreams. But he knew that he couldn’t let those thoughts get in the way of his work.
********************************************************
Udai had spent the whole night working on the changes that Akaashi had suggested. He had barely slept, hands sore from the constant sketching and note-taking.
But finally, he had a finished product in front of him — a revised rough sketching of the new twist of Zomb’ish ending, with the pacing smoothed out and the character motivations crystal clear.
He couldn’t wait to show Akaashi, to see the look of approval on his editor's face. As he headed to the café the next day, he felt a sense of nervous excitement building up inside him.
Akaashi was already there when Udai arrived, sitting at their usual table with a cup of coffee in front of him. Udai pulled out his sketch and slid it across the table to Akaashi, unable to contain the smile spreading across his face.
“Check it out, Akaashi-san.” Udai said, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment wash over him, “I think I’ve finally nailed it.”
Akaashi took a sip of his coffee before studying the sketch, his eyes narrowing in concentration. Udai waited eagerly for his reaction, feeling his heart pounding in his chest.
But as he watched, Akaashi’s face remained impassive. He kept looking back and forth between the sketch and Udai, expression unchanged.
Finally, he spoke. “Hm. This is much better,” he said, “but I still think the pacing could be improved in this scene here.”
Udai felt the frustration rising inside him. He had worked so hard on this, putting all of his energy and passion into making the changes that Akaashi had demanded. And yet, it still wasn’t enough.
“Akaashi-san,” Udai said, making sure disappointment creeping into his voice, “I worked all night on this. I’m overworked and exhausted, and you still want me to make more changes?”
Akaashi looked up at him, his expression nonchalant as ever. “I just gave you some necessary feedback on how to improve your manga, for your own sake, Udai-san,” he said, “and as the mangaka, you are to make the necessary changes to realize what’s better. It’s necessary to be proud of your work, but you should also be willing to make changes when they’re necessary.”
Udai sighed, feeling a sense of guilt washing over him. He smiled wryly, almost a grin but more of a wincing sound. “As expected, your words are as sharp as ever. Do you have some kind of routine to sharpen them every morning? That’s why you’re waking up that early in the morning every day? And just how many times did you mention the word necessary just now?”
Akaashi did not respond, prompting Udai to quickly add what should have been his answer earlier. “I thought you’d be a little foolproof. Anyway, alright,” he said, trying to keep the defeat out of his voice, “I’ll make the necessary changes. But please, Akaashi-san. Can you show some mercy?”
Akaashi paused, his eyes locking onto Udai’s. For a moment, Udai thought he saw a flicker of kindness in them, a hint of sympathy.
But then Akaashi spoke, his tone nonchalant. “Well, only if you’re up for a hiatus, I suppose?”
Udai groaned, “Oh, come on!”
And with that, Akaashi took another sip of his coffee, his attention already shifting to something else.
“I’m 100% sure you are still going to demand a revision on my graveyard. I’m 100– no, 200% sure of that!” Udai muttered.
“Well, then, that’s cruel.”
“You’re the one saying that?”
Hours turned into days, and Udai felt himself slipping deeper and deeper into a hole of pure artistic drive. He was consumed by his work, tweaking and refining every detail until it was perfect.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he had a new draft ready.
Finally, Akaashi spoke. “Hm. This is it,” he said, “this’ll do.”
“Yosh!” Udai smiled, fisting the air confidently, missing the slight smile in Akaashi’s face. “Finally, a chance to sleep!”
“Sleep?”
Akaashi’s eyebrow, quirked. “You have a deadline for the 25th volume, Udai-san. Have you forgotten about that?”
His world was upside down, his head buried in the table as his mouth uttered a cry of whine.
“Akaashi-san… Remission please~”
Udai raised his head, his face making Akaashi frown in horror. It was truly a look that made people concerned.
“Udai-san, at this rate, you look more terrifying than the walking dead in your manga. Your face is terrifying!”
“Akaashi-san…”
********************************************************
Udai stumbled out of the café, his mind still filled with thoughts of deadlines and work. He was exhausted, barely able to keep his eyes open, let alone focus on anything else.
But as he walked down the sidewalk, lost in his own world, he suddenly felt something collide with his leg. He looked down, feeling a sense of surprise creeping up on him.
A little kid was standing there, looking up at him with wide eyes. A little boy. He couldn’t have been more than five or six years old, dressed in a bright orange jacket and holding a teddy bear in one hand.
Udai felt a sense of panic rising up inside him. He was not good with kids. He had never been good with them, even when he was young, and now he was too tired and overworked to deal with something like this.
But before he could say anything, the kid spoke up. “Excuse me,” he said, his voice trembling slightly, “can you help me find my dad?”
Udai felt the panic rising up inside him. He didn’t know what to do or say. He was too flustered, too overworked, and too exhausted to think straight.
“I, uh,” he started, feeling his voice falter, “I’m not sure. I don’t… I don’t know where your dad is.”
The kid’s lower lip started to quiver, and Udai felt a sense of guilt washing over him. He didn’t want to make the kid cry.
But try as he might, he couldn’t think of anything to say or do. He was too lost in his own thoughts, too consumed by his own problems.
As the little boy’s sobs grew louder, people started to turn and stare. Udai felt a sense of embarrassment wash over him. He didn’t want to cause a scene, didn’t want to be the center of attention.
Awkwardly, still unsure of what he could say to calm the little boy down, let alone of anything he could do for him, Udai bent down to meet him. His hand slowly, hesitantly and awkwardly, tried to touch the little boy’s shoulder to calm him down.
First of all, just do it like this… right?
His brain quickly to find a way out. Finally, he managed to stammer out something, something that only made things worse. “I-I’m sorry, but.. but I really don’t know how to find your dad.”
He was dumb.
The little boy’s crying was getting worse. Instead of making the little boy feel better, what he had just said, made things worse. As expected, he was really bad with kids.
Not to mention his looming deadline waiting at the apartment, another thing happened on his way back.
Panic and guilt mixed with his anxiety when she was being noticed by every eye that passed by them. Udai was rooted to the spot... it was obvious that immediately leaving this little boy alone right there would make him a total jerk, right? But even then, his presence only exacerbated this little boy’s crying.
Just as he was about to open his mouth to say something, someone passed by, approaching the little boy and greeting him kindly.
His world was momentarily taken over by the figure that had just passed by. Someone familiar had been there, taking over his role as the adult he had failed to play.
Crouching down to meet the little boy was Tsubasa who had appeared out of nowhere behind him. Although he wondered about her unexpected presence—and about this whole threatening thread of their continuous encounter—he was grateful that it was Tsubasa, who had always been very much better at things that he was bad at.
Her hands met the little boy’s shoulders gently, and she was warm. Her smile was as warm as a spring breeze.
“Hey, it’s okay,” her soothing voice, would no doubt immediately soothe the little boy from his crying which had previously gotten worse because of him. “Are you lost?”
The child nodded, hiccupping as he tried to speak. “I can’t find my dad,” he said, tears streaming down his face.
“Ah? Is that so? So you can’t find your dad?”
“Yes.”
Tsubasa was nodding.
“Are you going to help me find my dad, Onee-san?”
Tsubasa nodded again, this time a smile spread across her lips. “Yes, I am.”
“Really?”
“Really.” Tsubasa promised, “You can wipe your tears now—”
“Isamu, Tanaka Isamu.”
“Ah? So, your name is Isamu?”
The little boy nodded, “Yes.”
Tanaka.
Wait. Tanaka?
That name rang a bell to Udai. A name that he once heard back then in high school, a name of a familiar classmate with particularly short, blonde hair.
His eyes fixed to the little guy talking with Tsubasa, scanning that little boy, obviously looking for some resemblance that could ring a bell.
“Well, you got a very good name right there, Isamu-kun! Your parents must have thought so well to give you the name as it goes really well with you! Isamu. Bravery.”
Udai was unable to move as his eyes took in the way Tsubasa had her own way of soothing the lost little boy.
His heart clenched, tight with pain. Throbbing at every second he spent watching what was unfolding before him. Yet, on the one hand, seeing all the interactions between Tsubasa and the little boy brought relief to her heart.
“Alright brave boy, let’s find your dad! Can you tell me where did you see him last?”
“We were walking on the street and my dad said he wanted to go to the toilet. But he was taking so long, so I went to check… But I couldn’t find any toilet nearby and get lost in the street.”
“Alright, I get it. Now can you tell me about what your dad looks like?”
Watching Tsubasa saving his ass in front of the little boy made Udai feel embarrassingly safe.
Then, when she was done listening to everything the little boy said, Tsubasa turned to Udai. Her eyes that looked at him warmly carried with them a million pains that stabbed straight into his heart.
“Udai-san, hello,” she said.
The world was about her. The world was her.
Udai struggled to breathe, almost forgetting how to do so. And he almost forgot how to speak.
As best he could, he tried to answer her greeting in a friendly manner. A smile might be difficult, but a friendly greeting wouldn’t hurt, right? After all, in no time now, Hatakeyama Jiro might be coming to catch up with her, certainly couldn’t stand to be a second longer away from his significant other.
“Oh, Tsubasa. Hi.”
Even after a moment, Udai didn’t realize that he had just called her by her given name rather than her last name like the last two times. He only realized after Tsubasa’s eyes softened at him, tender, and so warm that guilt creeped up preying on his skin.
“I mean… Sasaki. Hello, Sasaki.”
Tsubasa just smiled, then immediately told him that she would help the little boy find his father. She intended to call the police to keep an eye on the little boy and will wait until the police come. Udai could see how the little boy held Tsubasa’s hand comfortably, certainly feeling safe and a thousand times better.
“I’ll be back when I’m done. Can you wait for me at a nearby park?”
Udai felt his heart sink into his stomach. Dumbstruck, he could only stare at her.
“I’ll be there to join you soon,” Tsubasa said, “so, wait for me.”
You’ll be there soon... then... then what? What of it that’s good for me? For us?
********************************************************
He should have said something.
Udai should have said something like ah, don’t bother coming back, I won’t wait for you, I’ll just leave, or perhaps something that’s more like I really wasn’t expecting another encounter with you, so please just go.
He should have said something, yet he didn’t. And it was because he couldn’t bring himself to say something that he felt annoyed with himself.
Didn’t he not want this meeting? Getting involved with her, getting into this panel was the last thing he wanted—
“Udai-san?”
Her voice came closer. Udai’s world shifted from the gray of self-reproach and the deafening hum of regret, to the warm greeting of a familiar woman smiling at him.
Her hand waved, kindly greeting him before she joined him.
Time is cruel. So is fate.
“Sorry to keep you waiting,” Tsubasa joined him, not hesitating to sit in the empty spot beside him. Her gaze was on him as she said, “I had to take care of other things while handing the child over to the local police. Ah, but the little boy’s father arrived just before the police took him.”
“Yeah?”
Tsubasa nodded. “Hm.” She took out a business card and showed it to Udai. “Her father is a personal trainer.”
Tsubasa’s gaze focused on the business card, missing how Udai’s gaze focused on her. It was as if his gaze was glued to her every feature, and as if the world around her was sinking into black and white.
Was it true that this encounter was the last thing that he wanted?
Turning to face him, Tsubasa was almost surprised to find that Udai had been watching her all along. Udai, realizing that he had been caught looking at her carelessly, immediately averted his gaze. Awkwardness creeping over his skin. Subconsciously, his hands clenched. Stupid thing, he cursed.
Udai was just about to apologize, but Tsubasa preceded him.
“I—“
“I’m sorry, Udai-san! I didn’t mean to startle you.”
Slowly, Udai turned to Tsubasa.
“I didn’t know that you were seeing the business card.”
Their gazes met.
Udai didn’t know whether to be grateful that he wasn't caught, or to be disappointed for some stupid reason.
He stared at the business card Tsubasa handed him for a moment as he heard her, “Here.”
Then Tsubasa added, “Ah, right. They’re also from Miyagi. What a coincidence, right?”
Udai had expected that before. The name Tanaka that the little boy brought up was all too familiar in his memory. He didn’t need Tsubasa to tell him that. He remembered the name he read on the business card.
“Ah, yeah…” Udai hesitated to nod, “thank you.”
Tsubasa smiled and quickly pulled out the business card and slipped it into the pocket of the jacket she was wearing.
Udai glanced over after hearing Tsubasa exhale loudly; a sigh of relief that ended in a smile as her eyes wandered to something he didn’t really want to know about.
“Summer will be over really soon…” she murmured.
This time, before being caught watching her again like before, Udai gathered the remnants of his sanity to quickly shift his gaze. Then just as he expected, Tsubasa returned him.
Really, though. He really wanted to ask her just for once, was she okay every time she was looking at him so casually like this? Since he never was..
“I’m sorry,”
Udai, who immediately turned, was greeted by Tsubasa’s smile. Although initially surprised by her words and the way she was looking at him, he frowned, even more confused by her words.
“that must’ve been so surprising for you.”
“Huh? About… about what?”
“About that little boy before,” Tsubasa continued, “you must have gotten confused when he started crying.”
Udai almost winced.
“Well... there are many unexpected things on the road. A mugging, a hit-and-run, a fight, a little boy looking for his father who was from Miyagi,” Tsubasa smiled before she got to her last sentence, “also about meeting you again on the street.”
The world around them went silent at that sentence. Everything slowed down, time, and everything outside of their panel slowed down.
“But I bet you must have been pretty flustered by a little kid suddenly crying in front of you, well... not to mention that it was surprising.”
The world returned to its normal rotation, and Tsubasa had returned to meet his gaze.
At Tsubasa’s innuendo, Udai grimaced. He almost looked half dejected when he said, “Do I look like that unreliable for you to say that?”
“Ah?”
Udai sighed, “I, too, am an adult myself.”
No matter how hard Udai denied the connection and familiarity between them, it would never be enough to fool his feelings. In the midst of his persistence to resist prolonged interaction with her, his body naturally succumbed to the magnetic force she brought with her. And that was how this interaction came back to its pole, to the panel he was on.
Udai would surely regret this.
One night, he would wake up to witness how he was wrapped in a bundle of guilt for crossing the line, for coming back into her life.
Then her laughter rang out, crystal clear in his ears. And the sight, oh, don’t even ask. Udai had no idea that somewhere in this world, he would find something that could match what he was witnessing.
Her eyes narrowed as she turned to meet his gaze. Beautiful, as ever. A glimpse of Sasaki Tsubasa, whom he met nine years ago, fit in between them. Udai’s heart swelled with pain, regret, and longing all rolled into one.
“Well, that little boy can decide for himself,” Tsubasa said.
In her smile this time, there was innuendo and confidence and a hint of joke. In his eyes however, there was something unreadable.
The one second during which their gazes met felt like a thousand years, seconds spinning away for what seemed like forever. Immediately, before he crossed the line even further, Udai averted his gaze.
“Ah! Right!”
Udai was almost startled by Tsubasa’s voice. He immediately turned to meet her.
“About that day,” Tsubasa continued, “what happened to your precious t-shirt?”
Udai remembered, “Oh…”
Guilt had just entered Tsubasa’s eyes. Her forehead furrowed, almost looking like she was wincing as she said, “I’m really sorry for what happened the other day! I was really careless!”
Udai raised both hands, “O-oh... yeah, I’m fine.”
“Then what happened? Did you wash it yourself?”
“Eh?”
“Your t-shirt I mean,” Tsubasa said. “Did you wash it on your own?”
“Sure— ah, I took my clothes to the laundry.” Udai quickly continued before Tsubasa could say anything. “I made a note to the laundry worker to pay attention to the ocha stains.”
“Is that so?”
Udai nodded.
Tsubasa sighed, sounding more relieved this time. “Thank goodness,” she murmured.
Udai hummed. His gaze shifted, leaving Tsubasa behind.
The atmosphere returned to silence. They were both immersed in the sounds of the bustling street with no thought of immediately resuming the conversation. Even Tsubasa, who usually could not stand the silence for long, this time also chose to side with the silence. Udai wouldn’t blame her. What did she expect from a conversation with some ignorant jerk like him? What did she expect from the man who had broken her heart?
“Well…” Tsubasa finally spoke. Her relieved sigh invited Udai to return. “I guess I can say that I’m a slightly better adult than you, Udai-san.” she smiled kindly at him.
“Also,” Tsubasa was still smiling. The seconds when she paused her sentence were heavy with anticipation, “it’s been a while since I heard someone call me by my real name.”
Udai was dumbfounded. Damn tongue.
No.
Damn brain. If his brain hadn’t thought the name he usually called her was Tsubasa, then he wouldn’t have called her name so carelessly. Or was it his heart? His feelings?
No. Damn fate and time.
If fate and time had not brought them together, Udai would not have become so sentimental about Tsubasa and their unsettled pace in the first place. And since the damn fate and time were so eager to see him suffer, here he was. He succumbed to the awkwardness that held him tight before this situation.
“I think... The last time I heard someone call me by my real name was in high school.”
He heard her, and he swore that she was talking about him. Who else? There wasn’t a single person in Karasuno who called Tsubasa by her real name if it wasn’t him.
“It’s good to hear it again. Like a good reminder of the past.” Tsubasa said, smiling kindly at Udai.
He looked away, choosing to avert his eyes first. The stupid jerk that he is.
“I just slipped off…”Udai muttered, as if unwilling for Tsubasa to hear his words.
His response came in a surprisingly bright tone, “It’s okay.”
Udai met her gaze again to witness how warmly she smiled.
“Whether you just slipped off and didn’t mean to or not, I’m still happy to hear someone call me by my real name after a while.”
For the first time, Udai didn’t want to believe her words. He would have preferred if she had said that she was uncomfortable with his calling, that she was uncomfortable with anything that reminded her of the past, like how he felt about everything... but what if she was happy that it was him?
“I guess I should…” she did not finish her sentence, like she felt heavy on the part where she finally had to exclude herself. But after that, her smile quickly brightened as she got up. Her gaze returned to Udai as she said, “I’ll take this direction,” she pointed in any direction behind her back, “what about you, Udai-san?”
Udai had previously been convinced that he would rather not meet her anywhere, convinced that it was the wisest choice.
Being distracted in the middle of his work because his mind was constantly searching for her was more than enough. Plunging himself into her panel would only bloom his desire, whereas in his sense, that was the least that could happen for her sake.
His presence was a catastrophe in her life, his presence would only bring thundering rain to her summer, black clouds to her sunshine.
“I…”
He knew that he wasn’t good for Tsubasa, moreover, it was inappropriate to have his panel running alongside hers, but this time, Udai wanted to let that be.
Seeing her slowly pull away made him want to cross the line. Just this once, he didn’t want their meeting to end this fast.
Udai left his seat, catching up with Tsubasa who greeted him with a look that was still waiting for his answer.
“Udai-san?”
One last look into her eyes and Udai was sure to be greedy just this once.
“Are you free today?”
Just this once, he said. After that, he would drag himself away from this panel.
He saw Tsubasa staring in confusion, “Sorry?”
Squeezing everything that prevented him from surrendering into the magnetic pull of wanting to be around her, Udai finally said, “If you’re free, would you mind joining me for a coffee?”

Miyagi Prefecture, Nine Years Ago
In the early hours of the morning, as the sun started to peek out from behind the trees, Udai was already up and ready to go. He laced up his volleyball shoes, checked his knee pads, and made his way to the gymnasium for his team’s morning practice.
Hitting the court, he was in his element, exploding with energy and passion for the sport. He felt the weight of the volleyball in his palm, and as he served over the net, it seemed like all of his focus was on that little white ball. Every time it made contact with his fingertips, he felt the exhilarating rush of adrenaline that kept him going.
As the practice began to wind down, the other members of the Karasuno team slowly started filing out of the gym. Udai lingered a little longer, taking advantage of the empty space to run a few drills that he hadn't quite mastered yet.
He made a decision that would alter the course of his day.
He slipped away from the classroom, unnoticed by his classmates, and crept into the gymnasium storage room. The dusty smell of the room was familiar to him, and he lay down on an old mat in the corner. He was not tired, he just didn’t want to attend the class, because…. It wasn't that he didn’t like the class, but it was just so uninteresting to him. He’d much rather be practicing on the court for some hours more.
The storage room indeed wasn’t the most comfortable place to spend time, but it was secluded, hidden away from prying eyes.
The silence of the storage room allowed his thoughts to wander. He thought of the volleyball match that was coming up soon and the fear of losing started creeping in.
********************************************************
It was another typical day in the gymnasium as Tsubasa’s gym class was in full swing.
Their gym teacher had arranged a friendly match, pitting the students against each other, to promote teamwork and sportive spirit. As Tsubasa stood with her teammates, a bundle of nerves and trepidation coiled up inside of her. But as soon as the whistle blew, and the game began, she was surprisingly doing well in the game.
“Oi, Sasaki did a really great job right there!”
Some boys watching commented.
“She’s enjoying herself. Not bad!” The other one added.
“Way to go, Sasaki!” And the other began cheering for her.
“She’s cute, don’t you think?” Then he turned to the boy before, smiling.
“Yeah, she has some grace.” The other boy agreed.
“Right? Gonna have to try to ask for her number.” He said again, “Go, go, Sasaki! Take them down!”
Despite being a newcomer to the game, Tsubasa quickly adapted, using her intelligence and quick thinking to outmaneuver the other players.
Her shots had precision, and her passes found their mark. She moved with such grace that it was as if she had been playing this game all her life.
As she skated back and forth on the court, dodging other players and scoring goals, her classmates cheered.
The girls on the other side of the court cheered for her, “Sasaki! You’re the best!”
********************************************************
When the class finally came to an end, Tsubasa began to gather her things, ready to head back to the locker room and get ready for the next class.
As she made her way towards the gymnasium’s entrance she noticed the class representative was struggling to carry a pile of gym equipment and props, her small frame buckling under the weight of it all.
Tsubasa stood there, observing for a moment and taking in the situation at hand.
Some of her classmates were still there, they greet her when they passed her.
“Sasaki, you’re not coming?”
She turned briefly and nodded, “Go ahead. I’ll meet you in the class.”
“Okay.”
When her classmates leave, Tsubasa shifted to where she remember the class rep. was, still struggling with everything.
“Ishikawa!” She called out, approaching the girl.
The class rep. turned, “Oh? Sasaki, you’re still here?”
Tsubasa hummed. “Here, let me help.”
“Oh no—“
Tsubasa smiled. “That’s too much for you to handle, right?” She turned and looked around, “and the boys are really fast to leave… Moh… they’re really the worst!”
She casually bent down to gather some things that needed to be brought back to the storage room.
“Thank you, Sasaki.”
Tsubasa turned and smiled.
Opening the gym storage room door, the room was very dark and dusty. They had tried to turn on the lights, but they were broken. Finally, with a little light from the vents, they entered the room while being careful to put anything down lest it damage the rest of the gym equipment.
The next time they entered, Tsubasa brought with her a stack of mats that had been used in the previous gym class alone.
“Sasaki? Eh— but that’s too much for you—“
“It’s okay, Ishikawa-chan. I got this.” Tsubasa smiled and walked slowly into the storage room.
“Be careful. Really, be careful, Sasaki. It’s very dark inside.” The class rep. said worriedly.
“Alright. I’m okay.”
The class rep. was walking out anxiously while occasionally looking back at the storage room door to make sure that Tsubasa would be okay, all the while feeling guilty for involving her in her troublesome job. She wasn’t so far leaving the storage entrance that she heard a loud clattering sound from inside.
“Sasaki!”
The class rep. immediately rushed into the storage room, watching as Tsubasa sat on the floor whilst staring at another boy standing before her, along with some metal poles lying on the floor.
“Sasaki!? Are you okay?”

He thought you were a manager so he didn't give it any importance.
He's not the type to go crazy over a girl.
Would say hi to your team, including you.
He would be extremely polite and welcoming.
Chuckles to himself when you and Noya screamed “IS THAT SKYTREE?!” to a normal power transmitter.
He thought it was funny, cute and adorable how you're all excited and happy to be in Tokyo.
The moment he saw you in the court in Karasuno's shirt and shorts, stretching before the match his jaw would drop.
His coach told him that you're a wing spiker and it hooked him up.
“A w-wing spiker?”
His surprise would quickly shift into respect, on how being the only girl in a boys' team didn't stop you or bother you as long as you're achieving your dream.
He became very curious as he watched your tricks and the quicks you did with Kageyama.
“Impressive!!”.
Your agility, accuracy and strategic plays made him take an interest in you.
During breaks, between sets he acknowledges your skills in front of his team.
Warning his teammates and pointing out that you're a formidable opponent and they should watch your moves.
Loves challenges, he would ask you for another practice match just to get to play against you again.
When you have time, he would practice spikes and blocks with you and Bokuto.
“Damn, you're really good at spiking”.
You would become good friends quickly and even exchange phone numbers so you can text each other when you go back to Miyagi.
Would introduce you to Kenma, his bestfriend.
Would surprise you and take you to Skytree and spoils you for the rest of the day.
Since he's the captain he would give you a lot of advice.
