o7 Reaction To Reader Coming Out as Trans-W | HC

Summary: Finding out the girl they like is trans.

Rating: T

Warnings: implied needle injections (hormones), one of the members messes up with readers pronouns once, coming out, fear of rejection

A/N: For this fic, it’s for trans-women or any gender that falls under the transgender umbrella and also uses fem pronouns. At first I was going to make this gn to incorporate the whole trans community, but as I was writing I couldn’t stop putting female pronouns. I have this problem with y/n inserts too (I've literally typed in my name while writing before). I should also mention I’m part of the trans community because I’m agender (an umbrella term), so a few of the scenarios that I wrote kinda ended up being similar to my personal experiences… hehe. And one more thing, that’s also very important, this is all just my opinion. Obviously no one would know how the members would react to this type of confession unless they did it themselves. Which, I haven’t and know I probably (like 99.99999%) won’t ever get to find out their reactions myself. I just believe no matter what they would try to be respectful, and that’s what I mostly tried to perceive here. Anyway! Enjoy the HC!

Seokjin

He would not expect it all. Not a single inclining that you were trans crossed his mind before you told him you were.

You both were sitting on the couch when you told him, and he looked shocked, mouth and eyes wide open, just staring at you for way longer than he should have without saying anything.

By the time the clock hit two minutes past, you took this situation as it is. That he didn’t accept you, and you should just cut your loses instead of waiting for him to break the news.

Tears already filing you eyes, you stand from your seat on the couch. The second your butt left the chair, Soekjin dropped out of his shock filled state and grabbed onto your arm.

“Wait, don’t leave!”

You sniff, trying not to cry because you know the rejection is coming.

“Why not? I don’t need to hear how you don’t accept me.”

Seokjin looks like a deer in headlights again, but this time it’s because he’s feeling his heart break from your words. He does accept you. He just needs to push out the words to say it.

“I will—I mean—I do! Please y/n... sit down and talk to me.”

You reluctantly sit back down on the couch with a sigh.

“Okay, I’m sitting.”

Seokjin grins, trying to make this situation feel lighter now.

“I’m sorry I reacted that way. It’s just all so new to me! And I-.. I really like you.”

“I really like you too, Soekjin, but if your don’t want to be with me-”

“I do!” You blink at him, stunned by his loud interruption. “I’m sorry, but I do. I really, really do want to be with you. Would it be too much to ask if we just... took it slow? And you can correct or hit me if I fuck up.”

You can’t help but giggle at Soekjin’s version of fitting in a joke during all of this, and you can't help but admit you would gladly see that smile everyday if all turns out well.

If it works out, you’ll be happy together. If it doesn’t work out, he gave you permission to slap him. Not many people can say they slapped a pretty boy across the face.

Sounds like a win-win to you!

With one last hesitant moment from you, and a ultra funny and adorable pout from Soekjin, you say, “Okay, let’s take things slow.”

Yoongi

“Okay.”

Thats all he would say—looking as neutral in the face as ever.

“What—um—you heard me, right? I said I'm trans.”

Yoongi would roll his eyes, but his smile would also grow at knowing he’s making you look so surprised.

“Yup. I heard you. I just don’t care.”

Floored...jaw dropped...flabbergasted.

All the synonyms for shocked is how you felt right now. It’s been awhile since you came out to anyone, so having Yoongi just be okay with it was making you speechless.

Yoongi caught onto this, so he decided to poke fun at you for it.

“I know I'm hot, but that doesn’t mean I'm an asshole too.”

That comment woke you right up.

“T-thats not what I was thinking! Granted, you’re cute, but you never know how people will react when you-”

It’s while you were going on with your tangent that you caught Yoongi trying and failing to cover up his laughter. For which you slapped him in the shoulder playfully.

“You’re an ass.”

“That maybe true, but now that that’s out of the way can I start being your ass?”

That was such a Yoongi way of asking you out, so you gave such a y/n way of giving your answer.

“Hmm... I”ll think about it.”

His smile drops, but not because he’s sad. More annoyed because he know your answer is 100% not the correct one. After a few extra seconds of poking fun at the jokester, you give him your real answer.

“Yes, Yoongi. I’ll be your girlfriend.”

And now you’re assholes together!

Hoseok

He would ask you a lot of question. Nothing too personal at first, but just enough that so he can figure out how to proceed with your confession, and also make sure he was never disrespectful towards you in the past.

Hoseok likes you a lot, and he doesn’t care that your trans, but he’s the type of person that would laugh at the wrong moment or say something he shouldn’t by accident.

His questions went like this:

“What are your pronouns?”

That question made you swoon.

“Is your name still, y/n?”

For which the answer was yes, and it’s the one you decided to keep/change.

“Would you be my girlfriend or boy-”

You cut him off right there. Explaining that that was the wrong type of question to ask, and that a trans-women means women, so girlfriend is the correct term. After he apologized profusely, making you giggle by how caring he's being in this situation.

He then asks you to explain the concept, so he can do better in the future.

You swooned at that question too.

“Okay... I think I got it.”

You raise an eyebrow at him, trying and failing not to smile at how interested he is with your life.

“You think so?”

“Well, no... Not completely... It's not my life, it’s yours. I just want to make sure I don’t fuck up when you become my girlfriend.”

Oh, he’s in too deep now.

“So, you want me to be your girlfriend?”

He would become a spluttering mess for a few seconds, making you laugh until your sides hurt, and then he would stop suddenly. Because, in all honesty, “Yes.”

Your laughter would cease as well, and you answered his silent question with a smiling, “Okay.”

“Okay.”

...

“You know, your really pretty for a-”

“Wrong compliment, Hoseok!”

Namjoon

To be honest, I feel like it would be such a casual thing for Namjoon.

Like instead of you telling him you were trans, you told him about the weather. Responding to your question with, “And I'm Namjoon, nice to meet you.”

For which you would gap like a fish at him, getting a dimpled smile from him in return.

“Sooo, your just okay with it?” You would say after your shock wore off.

He would shrug his shoulders, playing off the whole situation like you didn’t just ravel a big part of your identity to him.

“Depends.”

“Depends?”

The dimpled smile he was wearing turns into a smirk, and you know then he was kidding. Ending of this conversation with a joking—but at the same time serious—question.

“Depends if you would be my girlfriend or not.”

You would giggle, playful hitting his shoulder.

“Of course, dummy.”

Jimin

He would be surprised, but it would be a calm reaction.

Just a simple, “Huh?” and “Really?”

For which you answer truthfully, “Yeah, Jimin. I’m really trans.”

Jimin would nod his head a few times. Then, because it suddenly felt awkward in the room you were in, he just said another simple, “Cool.”

He would blink his wide eyes a few times at you, wiggling his nose as he thinks somethings over.

You were honestly thinking that he was going to reject you. That he was going to tell you ‘it’s been fun, but I have to go now... Oh yeah! And drop my number.’

But he said none of that when he finally stopped thinking, and spoke how he felt.

“Does that mean you can still be my girlfriend?”

You tackled him as you shouted, “Yes!”

Taehyung

“I know.”

“N-no you didn’t.”

There was know way he knew. Taehyung maybe be undercover smart, but there was no way he knew unless you told him--which you didn’t until now.

Taehyung raises a pointed eyebrow at you, smiling as he says, “I put two and two together when I saw...” He then gestures to your thighs.

You usually do pretty good with covering up your track marks on your thighs (The place you infect your hormones at.) But, since it’s summer, you’ve been wearing shorts that just cover the marks.

Or at least... you thought you did.

You look down at the place he’s gesturing at, and low and behold there's a few spots the shorts don’t cover. You try pushing them down further, but it just starts riding up again.

“Huh, look at that.”

Taehyung would just chuckle, playing off the situation and making every bit of anxiety you had before about coming out to him disappear.

It’s then, as you’re analyzing your own marks on your thighs, that you smirk at a realization of his confession to knowing your trans.

“So, does that mean you stare at my butt a lot?”

His smile falls and his golden skin heats up into a dusty pink.

That’s a yes, then.

Jungkook

Similar to Jimin, and a hint of Hoseok, he would be surprised—in a respectful way—but wouldn’t waste time at making sure he didn’t fuck up in the past.

Truthfully, Jungkook has never once made you feel awkward or worried about coming out. He’s overall a very caring person, so you weren’t worried about coming out to him.

And it was especially cute when he asked you, “I’ll let you beat me in a video game if I ever did something wrong? Would you tell me if I mess up? I don’t want to make you upset.”

You swooned at his words, and when you looked into his big, serious, doe eyes you knew he was being real. That he generally cared about you, and not that your trans.

After telling him how he’s been nothing but respectful towards you so far, he wiggles his little bunny nose and starts to blush.

You don’t understand what just transpired in his little bunny brain, so you ask him, “What’s wrong?”

“I just-... I really like you!”

You’re surprised by his confession, but you don’t understand why that made him blush like that. Luckily, he explains it next.

“A-and even though you just came out to me, would it be weird If we... If I-... If I asked you, to be my girlfriend now?”

Swooning part two communes, and you're embracing him as you start to cry about how adorable that was.

A/N: Thanks to @lovelyxoxosworld for this request! Everybody seems to have babies on the brain lately, idk what’s going on, lol. I did include a few points about earlier months just for the sake of covering all the bases, but I tried to keep the focus on the later months like you asked.

Taehyung:

When the two of you found out you were expecting, he was beyond excited and emotional. He’d always dreamt of having a family of his own, so the fact that it was finally happening, and with you, meant the world to him.

He would talk to them all the time. As soon as he comes home, he kisses you and asks how your day was, and then kneels down to kiss your belly and ask them the same thing.

He would play question games with your belly, like one kick for yes, two kicks for no. He’d probably try to get them to side with him during arguments.

Likes to just hold/hug you from behind and trace patterns over your bump.

You tend to fall asleep most nights talking about names or trying to guess what their personality will be like.

“We’re not naming them after Jimin.” “Why not?” “The rest of your members will be pissed.” “We can name the next ones after them.” “THE NEXT ONES?!”

He really dedicates himself to studying your pregnancy books and trying to be as educated as possible about the whole process.

As your belly gets bigger, he tries to help and take over as many household tasks as possible, reminding you every time you try to argue with him about smth that you’re growing A HUMAN?! You’re busy enough!

He loves getting to dote on you; helping you apply cream to your belly for stretch marks, giving you back rubs to ease any aches and pains, he’ll even paint your toenails for you if you want!

He takes so many photos of you as the pregnancy progresses, wanting to immortalize as much of this time as possible.

Jungkook:

When he found out that you were pregnant, he was so beside himself with happiness that he couldn’t sit still. He kept bouncing/pacing around the room, coming over at regular intervals to hug and kiss you and your tummy, and then back to pacing.

Reads so many pregnancy books he basically becomes a walking encyclopedia for a couple months.

When he finds out they can hear in there, he talks to them constantly, including them in your conversations and singing to them before bed.

He cried a little bit the first time he felt the baby kick, bc it just made everything a lot more real. Like, he knew they were there, but getting to actually feel them and interact with them was a whole different thing.

As your belly gets bigger, and daily tasks get more difficult to do, he becomes your full-time assistant, doing everything and anything he can to help out.

Refuses to let you do anything remotely straining in fear of you hurting yourself. Like, he gets anxious about you even carrying your own bag half the time.

Loves doing that thing where he holds/supports your belly to take the weight off your back for a few minutes so you can rest a little bit.

Will one hundred percent try any weird food cravings you have, just to know and to see if he can start predicting what the next ones will be.

Is constantly coming up with new name ideas and desperately wants to be the one to find THE name. “Heads: you win, Tails: I get to pick the baby’s name.”

Probably falls asleep with a hand resting on your belly most nights.

Safe and Sound |Chapter Two|

Pairing: Hybrid!Ot7 x F!Reader

Summary: You have worked at a hybrid rehab and adoption center for years, enjoying being able to help people others only see as their animal side. You thought you might end up taking in one or two, what you didn’t expect however, was to take in 7.

The doctor looked over Jimin, most scratches weren’t too bad, only one or two which only had a mere bandaid put over. You bid your goodbye to Jimin once you were sure he’d be alright, heading back to Jin’s room.

You knocked, hearing some shuffling inside before the door opened to reveal a sleepy looking Seokjin. “Hi, I’m sorry I left so suddenly, we had a situation with a hybrid, but I could show you around now if you’d like? If not I’ll let you get back to your rest.” You say, smiling softly making him return your smile. “We could do it now, I was only getting a Power Nap.” He says as he opens the door a bit more, inviting you in with a gesture of his hand. “What happened with the hybrid? Are they okay?” He asks, brows furrowed as he looks at you. “Yeah, he seems fine..he had an interaction with hybrid control though.” You say, making Seokjin frown. “God why do they exist.” He says under his breath, yet you catch it. “Right! You guys are human too, I mean sure you can shape shift into animals and you have animal DNA but damn.”

You rant, missing Seokjin’s fond smile as he watches you go on about how much you’d wished HC wasn’t a thing. He’d never met a human like you, nor did he think he would again.

“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have ranted to you like that.” You apologize when you realize what you had just done, bowing slightly making Seokjin laugh. “It’s fine. I’m glad you feel comfortable enough with me to rant. Makes me feel like some people don’t just see me as my animal side.” He says making you smile. “Ready?” You ask making him nod before following you out of the room.

You first bring him to the cafeteria, showing him where he’ll eat every meal unless he prefers it somewhere else.

The last place you showed him was the adoption area, you never liked it, but hybrids were seen as pets and couldn’t live on their own. You could see sadness in his features, knowing one day he’d have to be in this very room. “Well..I’ve showed you everything there is to see here, dinner starts in about an hour so till then you can do whatever you’d like.” You say, smiling softly at Seokjin making him return the smile.You part ways from each other, Seokjin going back to his room while you head for Jimin’s room.

You knocked lightly on the door, hearing shuffling from the inside before the door cracked slightly, Jimin looking through the crack in the door. “Hi.” You smile making him exhale in relief, “hi.” He returns, opening the door wider before going back to his bed. “Dinner’s in about an hour, where do you want to eat?” You ask making him stop and look at you, you can see nervousness in his eyes before he responds. “I uh..I don’t know.” He says, sitting down on his bed still looking at you. “I could bring it to your room?” You say making him nod, letting out a small sigh before smiling. “Thank you.” He says, you nodding before turning around to exit the room.

“Y-Y/n..?” He tentatively calls out making you stop and turn around. “What’s going to happen while I’m here..?” He asks, fiddling with his hands making you sigh. “It’s your choice, if you find it fitting you can go back out into the world, if not you’ll have to be adopted.” You say making Jimin frown before looking down. “What if I don’t want either..?” He asks, voice barely above a whisper. You sigh before you close the door, making your way to him. You crouch down in front of him, noticing a few tears well up into his eyes. “Can I ask why?” You say, noticing the uncertainty in his features. “Well for one, I don’t want to mess with hybrid control again, two, my last owners weren’t the best. The only one who ever loved me got rid of me because she couldn’t afford me.” He says, a few stray tears making their way down his cheeks. “Maybe you’ll find someone? I wish we could keep hybrids here, but we can’t. We need the rooms so we can keep helping others.” You say, sympathy noticeable in your voice.

Jimin nods before looking up at you, small but feigned smile on his face, “I understand.” He says before looking away. Before you can properly think about it, you lean up and pull him into your embrace. You feel him tense up beneath you, gently rubbing your hand up and down his back as you rest your chin on his head. He slowly wraps his arms around your middle, pulling himself closer to you and basking in your warmth.

You slowly part from him, Jimin reluctantly letting go, holding back a whine as you look at him. “You’ll be okay, I promise.” You say, smiling softly making him smile back. “Alright, it’s about time to eat, do you want to go ahead of time and grab it, or wait for me to get it for you?” You ask, making him think. “Could we grab it before? So I can see what’s there?” He asks making you nod, standing up fully and offering him your hand. He takes it into his, grasping on semi-tightly before standing up, following you out of the room.

You lead him toward the cafeteria, poking your head through a door making sure there weren’t too many people. When you only saw the chefs, you opened the door fully, walking in with Jimin.You felt him maneuver so he could stand behind you, clutching your hand tighter at the sight of people. You glance behind you at him, smiling softly at an attempt to reassure him before continuing toward the counter.

“Hi Y/n! What can we do for ya?” One of the chefs, Haneul asks. “Could I get some food? We got a new resident and he doesn’t seem too fond of a room filled with people.” You say, smiling softly making him smile back. “What’s his name?” He asks, moving to try and get a peek at Jimin. “Are you alright with him knowing your name?” You ask, turning to look at Jimin. He looks up at you, reluctantly peeking around your body and catching Haneul’s eyes. “J-Jimin.” Jimin says, moving around your body a bit to get a better glimpse of Haneul. “I’m Haneul, what would you like to have?” Haneul asks, smiling softly as Jimin thinks. “C-could I have Kimchi Jjigae?” He asks, moving to stand next to you, still grasping your hand tightly. Haneul’s eyes flick to your interlocked hands, and Jimin swore he saw a flicker of jealously in Haneuls eyes, yet he pushes it down when the man nods.

Haneul turns around, telling another cook what Jimin wants. Jimin then turns to you, gently pulling your hand making you look at him. He looks over at a table and tugs again, silently asking to go over there, you follow and head over there.

“Do they usually do whatever you ask for?” Jimin asks making you nod before shaking your head. “Kind of, they will do it if requested or for newer residents but besides that they appreciate if they don’t have to make a different dish.” You say, noticing how a wave of gilt wafts across Jimin’s features for a moment. “Hey no, they don’t mind, it’s oka-” you get interrupted when a familiar voice calls your name. “Y/n! Hi.” Seokjin says as he walks over to your table, you notice how Jimin tensed up slightly as the sight of the other hybrid. “Hey Seokjin.” You say softly as the man sits down, smiling at you.

Jimin feels a pang of jealousy, no it’s not jealousy, no way. He barely knows you, why would he admit he’s jealous of another hybrid you’re helping? No! I’m not jealous! He’s taken out of his thoughts by your soft voice calling him. “Jimin, this is Seokjin. He’s another new hybrid here.” You say, smiling softly at both men.

Jin then directs his attention to Jimin, smiling as he reaches out his hand for a handshake. Jimin reluctantly takes it, firmly shaking the other man’s hand before letting go.

Jimin watches as you fall into conversation with the other man, asking how his stay here is. He fiddles with his fingers under the table, lost in his thoughts until you suddenly got up, bidding goodbye to the man and offering Jimin your hand he hadn’t realized he’d let go of.

“Well, I’ll see you around. Let me know if you need anything, bye Seokjin.” You say, waving before looking at Jimin. “Come on, your food is done.” You say, keeping your hand extended in case he wants to take it.

Jimin reaches out and grabs it, getting off the chair and following you to the counter. He picks up the bowl, letting go of your hand to carefully handle it as you both make your way out of the cafeteria.

You both walk back to his room, you opening the door for him since his hands are full, yet as you’re about to leave he calls you.

“Wait Y/n..” he says softly making you turn around, confusedly staring at him but smiling nonetheless. “I—are you going to be like my caretaker?” He asks, staring at you, unreadable expression as he nervously waits for your answer. “If you want me to be, but I’m mostly just one of the workers here to help you.” You say, smiling softly as his question. “But what if I don’t want another worker? You’re the only nice person I’ve encountered so far.” He says as he shyly looks down, unsure how you’ll take it, missing your wide smile. “Thank you.” You say before turning around again, heading for the door.

Just as you reach it, you turn around to look at Jimin, already seeing his gaze on you. “Get some rest, okay? The doctor is going to come and check on your wounds at about 9-ish.” You say, Jimin nodding before looking away. “What’s up? You got a look on your face.” You ask making him look back slightly. “Could you maybe stay in the room with me again.? I don’t really trust people much..” he whispers, barely audible yet you catch it. “Yeah of course. I’ll try and be here before him, okay? Now get some rest.” You say before walking out of the room and closing the door behind you.

You walk down the hall toward the employee lounge to grab your stuff before heading home. As you enter the lounge you see your friend Souyun.

“Souyun! Hi!” You say as you enter, waving at her enthusiastically before walking toward your locker. “Hey Y/n! How are you?” She asks as she walks with you. “I’ve been good, we got a new hybrid, he seems scared of people. I’m surprised he trusted me so fast but I’m glad. If you could check up on him I’d greatly appreciate it.” You say, opening the locker and grabbing your jacket and purse, turning to face your friend with a smile. “He’s in room 63. Tell him I sent you to him.” You say, hoping he’ll trust her at least in the slightest.

You bid your goodbyes, exiting the room and walking down the hallway toward the lobby.

As you reach the lobby, you see how empty it looks besides a girl sitting at the front desk. “Bye Y/n! Have a good night.” Sun-hee calls out, waving with a smile. “Bye Sun-hee, you too.” You reply, repeating her action before making your way to the door. The soft breeze that follows the open door makes you sigh in contentment. It’s the middle of September, the breeze is near perfect, sometimes a bit colder because of the approaching winter.

You walk the short distance to your car, unlocking it and getting in. Before starting the car, you set your things down and check your phone, not seeing anything new, you set it back down into one of the cup holders, starting the engine and roll down your windows, getting ready to go.

You reach your apartment building, grabbing everything before heading into the building, walking toward the stairs.

You climb the two sets of stairs it takes to get to your floor, walking to your apartment. You sigh, hanging your jacket and putting your keys in a bowl by your door, hanging up your purse after.

You head toward your kitchen, pulling out a simple microwave dinner from you freezer, not wanting to go through the hassle of making dinner at the moment. You toss it into the microwave, sitting on your counter while scrolling through TikTok.

-2 minutes later-

Beep beep!

You hop off the counter, opening the microwave and taking out your food, setting it on the counter to cool off. You lean back against your kitchen counter, letting your mind wander.

‘Why did it feel like there was something there?..Whenever I looked into their eyes it just…felt right to be with them.’

You quickly shake these thoughts down.

‘There’s no way I’m attracted to my patients.’

You get a fork and peel back the plastic, taking your food to the table and sitting down.
