Does it ever bug you when you see some of the Cyno jokes in fandom? Because for me like- there’s a specific kind of joke he tells that people seem to reduce down to “ligma and then overexplains it” or just. Puns. And while puns are entirely a facet of that sense of humor- it’s. Also just not the kind of jokes? He tells? Like the one with the slime. I haven’t seen many people utilize that kind of humor and I really wish they did. Or like- telling a joke that gets a laugh and adding it to your script with people. I might be projecting a little there but my parents told me I used to tell the same joke every night for a month because it made them laugh once.

I really love your head canons btw- and how you talk about Alhaitham too :)

But yeah! I do see your point anon! It's definitely not the kind of jokes he does in canon. It's either just straight deadpan humor, like he explains a way too long humorous senario that he thinks intellectually is funny (which, same, I do that all the time lmao) or it's... Weirdly intellectual puns that he HAS to explain to most people, like in the windburne trailer.

And that's a big thing because that's an overly complicated joke, it's like a refence to an arabic (in-game sumerian) poem/song about lyres and wind. And he doesn't explain it to Tighnari, doesn't even attempt to do it and shit.

I think it mostly has to do with the fact that most people consume genshin lore or try to understand characters through voice lines alone and so they took the one time he explained jokes till he was sick and just... Ran with it to hell and back. When that is a very specific scenario and stuff. Thus, flanderization.

(flanderization: the process through which a fictional character's essential traits are exaggerated over the course of a serial work/by the fandom (in this case))

And yeah... Also the fandom's habit to unconsciously or sometimes consciously strip characters, especially ones they find attractive/smart/of note for a specific characteristic, of their neurodivergent coding. I see it a lot with Al Haitham, that a lot of people characterize like one of those white boys who don't care about human right.

(I could go on a fucking rant about this. Seriously, he's not one of those "it's rational for people to be oppressed because *yada yada yada*)

Tbh honest, I have leant the art of disconnecting the wider fandom's hc of character from my own and kinda... Like them somehow... I dunno how I do this, but I feel like it's helped me a lot since otherwise I would be in every comment section arguing about "no! Kaeya calling Albedo a machine does not ducking make sense! Why did you make this!" or similar shit. So yeah...

Especially with neurodivergent characters, that's a necessity!

Being the partner of the almighty. Shogun meant a lot not only reputation wise but, also life wise. You were practically famous through the nation. Of course, there was bound to be rumors and gossip about the dynamic and love filled relationship you had with Ei.

Most were positive, the people admired you as a icon. Then there was those that were envious. Envious of your status, your happiness, your love. You tried to let no negative comments affect you as there will always be negativity In this world but sometimes negativity that is ignored can build your own up and hit you all at once.

You had been having the regular typical day you always had. Today you wanted to cook for your lover but your humble abode wasn’t completely stocked with the ingredients that you desired. Ei had insisted that she acquire someone to shop for you but you stood your ground and denied her request. You wanted this surprise meal to be special.

While Ei left to deal with her duties you journeyed out to the shops of Inazuma. You wondered around searching for quality ingredients until you overheard the mutters of a group of citizens. “Yes… what does she see in them? They’re are so many fair maidens that fill this land yet she chose… someone so below average?” Your heart stopped at the words that were whispered between the huddle. It was then you notice all of the eyes burning holes into your skin.

You tried to continue walking but the shiver that chilled you body due to the stares of all the shoppers and vendors made your chest tighten. Your breath seemed to catch in your throat as your pace hastened. If you finished the shopping you could just go home and begin cooking. You eyes began to water as you quickly observed all of the ingredients you were buying. You rushed to buy them and exit the market. Your chest seemed to squeeze with every glance to the side as you noticed more and more stares on you.

You reached the entrance of your home. The Gaurds stationed outside noticed how distressed you were and let you pass quickly not wanting to make matters worse with questions. As soon as you entered the safety of your home tears began to spill down your cheeks. You rubbed your cheeks raw.

With your cheeks still damp and eyes still watery you made your way to the kitchen to place the purchased items down. You left to go get a cloth to wipe your swollen eyes. You reached a mirror and once you looked at your reflection your confidence spiraled. They were right. There were so many charming people that filled this nation so… why me?

You jumped when you heard a door slide open. You quickly removed yourself from the bathroom. You found Ei standing by the entrance to your living space blankly staring at you. You attached her to welcome her but, she cupped your red, still mildly damp cheeks in her hand as she gave you a stoic expression.

Her eyes traced along your features and she brushed her thumbs on your cheeks. “Why me? Why do you love me Ei?” The corners of her lips tilted down and her eyebrows furrowed. “Because you are adorable. Your flaws and your strengths are adorable.” That was all you needed you pulled her in for a sudden hug. She tensed at first but began to hug back. “I love you Ei.” You mumbled but Ei heard you loud and clear “I… I love you as well.”

#everyoneisscrewed in the Kaeya Body Swap/Creator/Game AU. World building wise, like, I can't imagine good things come out of it. If both worlds are so close that the Tether is broken, I imagine things are gonna start to overlap, irl with Genshin and vice versa. Characters and irl people may end up jockying for space to exist. Take Kaeya and The Body Swapped Reader/Creator. For me, I think it'd get to the point where whatever action one does, the other will do. Then the question becomes, who's the puppet and puppeteer- to bring it back back around to Mist's musings. Not to mention, why not up the ante more - since the Creator is the one with the tether, they're the one that can see the blurring of the lines, hear the cries of everyone else in Teyvat (I'd also think Teyvat screws up with The Creator in Kaeya's body too, by tormenting them, awake and asleep, with the worries and cries of other characters and their deletion, and guilt trip them by showing how much the people Teyvat rely and revere on the creator and how the creator would only do what was best for them), and I'd imagine it would lead to a situation where it's either one or the other, to prevent a paradox from destroying both worlds. More thoughts for A Different Anon.

Just a personal headcanon but I imagine anemo vision wielders to be temperature sensitive. Extremely self-indulgent 🤝

You had vastly overestimated yourself today.

"Hm, cold? Pfft, it's just a pleasant breeze."

It was in fact very cold and anything 'but just a pleasant breeze.' your outfit for the day wasn't much help either. Still, against all odds, there you stood, outside Angel's Share, waiting for the infamous redhead. It was an uncanny routine that you both had settled on to, walking back to the winery together. This often comprised detours where you would run off Windrise or any other place that looked interesting under the moonlight, followed by the Dawn Winery master begrudgingly joining you soon after. Tonight though, that seemed impossible, and all you really wanted was to curl up beside a fireplace and be rid of this freezing hell.

"{Name}"

And there he was. Suppressing another shiver, you move towards him.

"Took you long enough."

He feels warm. You can feel the heat radiating off of him. Subconsciously, you move closer, soaking up every bit in the proximity. You could just tell him you were cold, but this is where your pride stops you. 'Pleasant breeze' is what you told him this morning when he cautioned you about the weather. And usually it was pleasant. The night was just unpredictable and a lot colder. But surely it was bearable, right?

Diluc is used to your antics. You would rather continue lingering around him than confess. It was the onslaught of winter and he warned you this morning. You brushed him off and now here you were, shivering and yet too stubborn for admission. Despite your ignorance, he doesn't like seeing you like this, and the prospect of you being sick is one he would rather not entertain. It doesn't take long before he's shrugging his coat off and draping it across your shoulders.

"Just take it."

The weight of the soft fabric on your figure is welcomed one and you accept it without a word. Maybe you would adhere to his warnings next time. Gripping the coat, you wrap it closer around yourself. It feels plenty warm already, but prolonged exposure has its repercussions. Hands almost numb and they don't seem like they would thaw anytime soon. Yet you continue your efforts, rubbing them together, trying to bring back any semblance of feeling in them.

"allow me."

His hands are on yours as he stops before you. Warm palms upon your frozen ones. When did he take his gloves off? He holds them gently, bringing them close to his lips, blowing hot air on them. You would have teased him for his coddling, but the feeling of warm lips upon your knuckles stops you. Hot, scorching touch upon glacial skin and it lingers long after his lips leave the spot.

"Better?"

The night chill is almost forgotten as you feel heat rush to your face. It wasn't like him to be openly affectionate like this. Provided that there was no one around to witness it, but it had still caught you off guard. Maybe it was just the worried look in his eyes, your hands in his being caressed with feather light touches or just the moonlight accenting his face, and lips looking-

Christmas with Razor ! | Genshin Impact Senario

Razor is my fav character, I love him and the fact he strong. So I wanted to write something new out of my usual mold, so I went with something wholesome !

also it all based on my headcanon, don't take this seriously and I'll use lumine because I'm more comfortable with her, sorry if anyone excepted some kind of (y/n) shit, not comfortable with that unless it obey me (because it a dating game, so it easier as well) So please respect that, don't attack me, thanks you.

Snow was slowly covering the group, animals went to hibernate already, some went to hunt to have some meat for the winter and Razor was tasked to make the nest of his pacts, winter proof. He was gathering all kind of material, wood, feather, wool, old piece of clothes left by people who never made it alive and etc. He was proud of doing his task, he had to help his family, his lupicals. When he was going back towards the cave, he smelled a familiar smell, a friend perhaps? He started to look around, he knew he wasn't in danger just by the smell. The gray haired boy turned and saw Lumine, she was friend, she lupicals as well.

“LUMINE!” Razor yelled, he could pronounce her name alright now. She turned and walked towards him “Oh Hello Razor, what are you doing...and what with all of those materials?” he smiled and replied “Razor, getting material for Winter, cold in cave!”. She understood immediately, the cave he lived with his lupicals get cold very easily and it uncomfortable mostly for the younger and the oldest of the pact, Razor was fine, he was used to the colder temperatures. Once they both arrived to his cave, the wolf boy brought the item in while announcing they had a guest. All the wolf seemed interested and actually didn't minded Lumine. They knew she wasn't a danger and some “talked” to Razor, giving some kind of ideas. “You, stay, Christmas?” He asked out loud looking to Lumine, maybe spending Christmas with someone new could be a change for once although the boy didn't really enjoyed change that much but was willing to try something new for the holidays. She accepted and everyone was quite happy. Days passed until Christmas actually arrived and as usual, Razor celebrate it with meat but this year since he invited the traveller, it might be cooked meat instead which made everyone happy.

When she arrived, she brought more that just cooked meat but some cake safe to eat for wolf and Razor. She also brought gift for everyone which confused them, they never had a tradition of giving gifts but they accepted it, Razor felt slightly bad not giving Lumine something but he decided to do something nice back, she was so nice after all so he wanted to show some niceness back after all.

“friend, go play, snow?” he asked, he tilted his head like a puppy, making the traveller agreed automatically. Who could resist some wolf charm after all? Both went outside, playing for hours in the snow, it was his way for the boys to “give a gift” to the traveller, the person who helped him at times.

After playing for hours and going back to the warmth of the cave, falling asleep from playing so much. The next day both Razor and Lumine were sick, Paimon scolded them of course but at least it was worth it
