Pedri never checks his phone before games as he tries the maximum to focus on the game.

You’re gonna be a bit surprised that he shows you no reaction when he enters the field, his face stone cold, not even the slightest evidence of being riled up over what you sent him.

You do get a bit disappointed at that, but soon forget about it once the game starts.

It’s only after the game ends that he sees the revealing photo you sent and a huge smirk fills his face, the post-game adrenaline making him feel horny for you, the huge win they had also helping in making him more relaxed.

Pedri won’t waste time, showering and getting ready in a hurry before going to seek you. The huge smirk that he has on his face as he ardently kisses you proves that he’s now finally seen the photo, butterflies flying in your belly as he whispers into your ear how much he liked the photo and that he can’t wait to get home to give you a reward.

When the game is done, the boy runs so fast to get changed and rushes to get to you.

with how early this boy goes to sleep, waking up before him is quite literally impossible

usually it's you waking up to him on his phone as he rubs your side with his free hand, tucking you in closer to his chest while looking the most relaxed you will ever see him

he always knows when you're about to wake up, and og i am not kidding, the boy picks up on when you're heart rate changes

but there's a reason, i promise ! kats is vv afraid of losing his hearing one day due to his quirk so he kinda asked recovery girl to teach him how to pick up on someone's pulse from their neck

after that, he always positioned himself so you would be laying on his arm and his hand would be on your neck some how cute right?

this is the best time for cuddles because he is so pliant and peaceful and warm

the moment you look like you're getting up, he immediately puts his phone down (he really didn't care for it but he was bored waiting on you to wake up)

toshi has trouble sleeping most days and with him being a stealth hero, sleep often alludes him

sleeping with you helps as much as it can but he still struggles sometimes so in the morning, you let him sleep as long as he wants

i'd like to think that he runs a little cold most nights so the bed being warm is important to him sleeping peacefully so in the morning when you wake up, you don't get out of the bed too quickly

he's such a cat, even in his sleep, so cuddling with him will get you an immediate response; if you tuck him into you chest and rub his back, he'll snuggle closer to you and sigh, relaxing even further into your hold ; if you kiss his forehead and rub his side, he'll roll into your touch; if you try to spoon him and nuzzle into his back, he'll hold your arms in his hands, stroking his thumb against your forearm

smooth, silky, and soft ! it's hard not to touch as soon as you wake up because it's just right in front of your face and so you run your hands through it (kiri definitely wakes up the moment you start stroking his hair but like hell he's moving away, to relaxed to move)

when he does want to wake up, he stretches very slowly before letting out the loudest groan and popping every bone down his spinal cord

Theo mirrors your own frown, forking some of his dinner in the meantime. How dare you consider such a thing? You're the most important person in his life now - is it so far-fetched and not obvious that he'd put time and effort into celebrating the birthday of his beloved? Not having yet delved into the delicious-looking meal that you've prepared for him, he quickly stands up and comes to your side to steal a kiss.

Your giggles are bringing a smile to his own face too, all hints of frowning now in the past. Theo finds himself tugged by the tie for another kiss before he can retreat to his seat, but he shakes his head firmly.

"No dessert before dinner. Or do you really like acting immature that much?"

"I wish you weren't such a rude tease for ONE DAY, Theo... hmph."

It's like the gentle caress of an angel brushing across your cheek when your senses start to awaken naturally, undisturbed by alarming noises calling for an early start to yet another busy day. Waking up on your own, in a good mood, when the sun is already high in the sky... it's a birthday present on its own already, and you lazily stretch out your limbs to embrace it.

It's then that you realize the gentle caress from earlier is not a fragment of your still dream-dazed imagination, but it doesn't belong to an angel either - it's the hand of none other than your own personal devil, Theodorus van Gogh.

"Hehe...Good Morning to you too, Theo."

"Morning, schat. Happy Birthday."

Oh, you could get used to this. Though you've heard many words of sweetness in Dutch fall from those perfect lips of his, they're always a special treat, even more so when accompanied by the gentleness of his strong hands. You lean into the touch, eyelids falling closed as if you're ready to spend the entirety of the sunny summer day between the sheets with him and call it a day well spent. Theo is used to spending very little time in bed before starting his day, so you make the best of his cuddly mood, playfully entangling your legs in his under the sheets, as if to keep him where he is for longer.

Theo answers by pulling himself even closer to you, his chest now pressed firmly against your back as he cuddles you from behind. You hum a little in surprise, but it comes out almost as a purr instead.

"Still sleepy, Theo? You couldn't get enough sleep?"

"Oh no, I'm fine. It just seemed like you wanted me to hold you for awhile."

Oh. Well, he read you perfectly, then.

"Hah... with how many things we planned for the day last night, here I thought you'd call me lazy for lounging in bed at this hour."

Theo's feather-light caresses move to trace the curve of your shoulder and get distracted with playing with your hair just like you love it.

"Why would I call you lazy? It's your birthday. You can do whatever you want. Get some rest, everything else can wait."

If you thought you were all relaxed up until now, then those words turned you into a content puddle of inner peacefulness. You're floating on the cloud that your shared bed is, your body light, your sprawling about justified by the words of a workaholic. It's the best medicine.

"Hmm, I guess I have to listen to you, then. You're always right. Though, things can always get even more self-indulgent..."

"Would you like me to do something for you?"

How attentive, the suggestion coming before you can even finish your thought. Maybe you should take advantage of this.

"I was thinking of breakfast in bed, but I'd hate to be the only one bringing food in here while you're just watching...since you hate bringing your syrup-drenched pancakes anywhere near the bed."

"Well, I guess it's time for your first birthday surprise then."

Leaving you alone in bed with only the big imaginary question mark looming over your head, you raise yourself to a seated position in bed, gripping the sheets into your palms to get some sense of reality in this rather dream-like situation. The sound of his footsteps comes closer again so quickly that you have no time for guessing for yourself. He's holding a silver tray with a rich breakfast for two on it, carefully placing it in the center of the bed in front of you.

"If the eggs have gone cold i'll fry you new ones. You like them done this, right? Or if you want me to change anything else, I'll do that too. I'm not too keen on making breakfast, unfortunately."

"Oh, no, please, Theo, you did amazing! There are so many delicacies here... this is a breakfast for a king!"

"Or a Queen." Theo remarks, an imprint of his smirking lips appearing on your cheek as he leans in close to smooch it.

Your reaching for the utensils is interrupted by the raising undercurrent of suspicion coated in sweetness. This is not ignorable anymore, and you rest your arms on your sides again as you look him in the eye.

"Okay Theo, what's wrong with you today?"

"...Wrong? Have I said something bad?"

"No! You're just- so considerable and gentle and-"

The nerve furrowing Theo's brow is old and familiar, a friend you're glad to meet again, almost.

"I'm normally considerable and gentle with the ones I love. Darling."

He's definitely trying if anything, and now you're guilty for claiming the opposite. You know his soft side better than anyone; his protectiveness, his determination to always put you first and foremost and to melt you with gestures of sweet, sweet love. That's your Theo. Yet being bombed with all of those little acts of affection first thing in the morning couldn't not make you look for a reason behind them, stupid as it might sound.

Theo sighs, seeing that his smart girl saw through his plan right away, even though it's only just been set in motion. Picking up a strawberry from the food tray and lifting it to your lips, he makes his confession.

"You said that you wanted me to stop being...'a rude tease' for one day. I've already prepared some other surprises for you but I thought one more gift wouldn't hurt."

This is...something you said last night at diner. And Theo not only remembered your little remark of frustration, but committed to fixing his attitude overnight just to please you. Now that's a surprise.

"Theo...! Oh my god. No, please, I love you just as you are! I love your sharp tongue and how brash you are sometimes, and I know well enough you don't mean it if you accidentally say something mean... Theo, I fell in love with you even the way you were in the beginning, do you seriously think I'd rather you act differently now?"

Theo's pretty aquamarine eyes widen all for you to admire, and sure enough, it captivates you enough to forget the strawberry offered to you. That's Theo's chance to withdraw his hand and...to pop the little red fruit right into his mouth instead.

"Hey!"

"Gods. Thank you. I'm glad to hear that, because... you seemed so happy just now. You deserve all of this, liefje, and while it comes naturally to do anything I can to make you happy, I wasn't sure if I'm doing it correctly."

"What, loving me? You've always been perfect at it, Theo. I want your love just as I know it."

"Hm." He takes another strawberry between his fingers, ready to correct his earlier teasing and reward you instead. Before you can bite into it, he withdraws just to add, "Hope you don't regret it much. I plan to give lots of love to my birthday girl today."

You chuckle bashfully, trying not to show just how much you're looking forward to it. While he's not forbidden from making another joke about you being excited like a little kid, you surely will try to prevent the idea from getting in his head in the first place.

- Yamamoto and Seguro try to keep up the Nekoma/Nohebi rivalry but in all honesty they really don't hate each other. They try so hard to act like they hate each other, they don't 💀

- Meanwhile Shirabu and Yahaba's rivalry is worse than Ushijima and Oikawa's

- Shirabu ended up breaking Yahaba's nose. Yahaba doesn't like to talk about it.

- Akaashi's used to this. He was pretty much the captain last year. He's got this in the bag.

- At least he thinks he does until he meets the crazy first years who think they're "2 cool 4 skool 🥶🥶🥶💢💢💢🔥🔥💯💯‼️😩💦💦"

- Akaashi kicks their asses dw

- Atsumu wants to be intimidating, and he is the the first years. The other new third years don't take him seriously at all. (Especially Osamu and Suna, they laugh at him when he tells them to do something)

- Ennoshita's on the verge of becoming an alcoholic with how his team stresses him out. He's terrifying tho.

- One time he slapped Kageyama upside his head when he was giving him attitude and he was quiet for the rest of the day. (Ennoshita felt bad later once he realized that he hurt Kageyama's feelings more than anything)

- Hirugami is pretty composed about it. He's doing his best. However, he tends to get burned out more often now that he has to guide the whole team.

- Atema is starting to blow up often. At his teammates. Some of the fellow third years have to calm him down. Quite frequently at that. He makes sure to remind his underclassmen that he's just very passionate and cares about them getting better.

- Usuri is scary to the new babies too 😭 they all call him intimidating and he never understands why. Also, another setter captain. So many setters.

- Sakusa is honestly not very good at the captain business. He's not very open with anything at all. Good thing we got Komori to help ✋️💀

- Terushima is having the time of his life, he loves being the captain so much 😪✨️ "Let's go fuck some shit up guys, woo-hoo! :D"

- Yuzuru is constantly on the verge when it comes to the fucks he has to lend. Especially with Hyakuzawa. He has been since he started the captain business in his second year. He's honestly about to send a letter to the previous third years apologizing for being a brat in his first and second year. He tries his best to be nice 😭

- All the other captains just wanna die

- Futakuchi probs causes the most fights within the group. He's an asshole 💀 it doesn't combine well with how temptable Yamamoto and Seguro are

- Shirabu, Yuzuru, and Usuri get along well. Almost too well. It's scary. They act like the group of mean kids that live on you're block that torment you and your friends.

- Akaashi and Ennoshita get along pretty well too. They just wanna relax

- Atsumu and Yahaba don't like each other 💀 probably because Yahaba is lowkey a mini Oikawa 😭

- Yamamoto and Terushima are straight ANIMALS like nothing can stop those two. Add Seguro into the mix and they're bouncing off the walls

- Futakuchi and Shirabu don't really like each other, but when they team up? Oh someone's gonna die

- Atsumu really admires Akaashi. He thinks he's really cool 😭 little does he know about Akaashi thinking he's admirable too

- The vice caps get along better than all of them 💀 it's funny with STZW and AJ cuz Yahaba and Shirabu will be staring each other down meanwhile Taichi, Watari, and Kyōtani will be sitting down talking about their Spotify playlists

- Tanaka and Fukunaga get along well too! Tanaka thinks his jokes are genuinely funny and I find that adorable

- Aone kicks it with them too sometimes. He likes their good, happy vibes.

- Shirabu and Ennoshita have laid back in lawn chairs (accompanied by Kawanishi cuz he gets out of stuff) and watched as their team ran multiple laps around the track field.

- The caps are all trying their very best 😭 it's so hard honestly and they just want a break

- Sometimes for team bonding their teammates buy their food just cuz, it's so sweet

The figure shows himself out of the water, holding a axe, glaring at Trythm, until he saw Alastor.

Pastel: !!! Alastor-!?

Alastor: !!! Pastel-!! I knew it was you!!

Pastel quickly swam towards Alastor and hugged him tightly, happy that he found him, but glares at Trythm..

Pastel: um..who is he..?

Trythm: ...*glares at him too*....

Alastor: uhh..well Pastel, meet Trythm, my friend! And Trythm, meet my boyfriend, Pastel!

Trythm: oh.. you're his mate, *looks at pastel from head to fin* doesn't seem like one to me.

Electstel: clearly someone who wants to ask you the same question.

Alastor: Electstel.. this is my boyfriend, Pastel.

Electstel: *behind Pastel* oh, nice to meet you. *Takes Alastor*

Electstel: I have my ways. No, if y'all excuse me... I've got some training for Alastor. You two get along, these heat is cooking. *Swims away while carrying Alastor*

Pastel and Trythm got so confused about the heat until they feel some boiling, hot water heat up. They immediately swam out of the water.

So for a little bit of time, Alastor was training with Electstel for hours, all Pastel could do is watch, while Trythm glares at him.

Pastel: *glares back* ya know... I'm wondering something suspicious about you... Trythm.

Trythm: oh, here we go. Starting to act like a detective, I see.

Pastel: Why is Alastor even WITH you??? Why do you call him "master" ? Why are you ALWAYS by his side?? Why are you-

Trythm closes pastel's mouth, before Pastel could say anything, Trythm slapped Pastel's face.

Trythm: First of all, you don't know about how me and Alastor met. Second of all, You need to stop thinking that I'm planning on hurting Alastor, which I'm not actually doing.

Pastel: *raises eyebrow* oh really? What are you planning on?

Trythm: Oh, well I'm planning on slicing your head off, and feed you to the piranhas or fishes near the river, or...*lifts Pastel's chin up* Getting rid of you.

Pastel: *groans* What do you want from him, you cre-

Trythm: Incorrect, I'm actually his friend...best friend. More likely soon will be...ya know what, let me hush.

Soon as Everyone has eaten, Alastor went outside with Pastel and Trythm. To get along...or it's like the opposite.

Pastel: *holds Alastor's hand* ya know sweetheart, I've missed you SO MUCH that I couldn't stop thinking about you~

Alastor: aww~ 🧡

Trythm: *in mind* (this b*stard)....

When Alastor was crafting a knife, Pastel glared at Trythm.

Pastel: hm.. that knife sure will slice your head off.

Trythm: oh, sea prince. You better stop staring at me as if I'm your crush, and secondly I think the knife is enough for me to stab you through your throat.

Pastel: !?!

Alastor: done! *Smiles at them* hey Trythm, mind if you help me?

Alastor: I'm trying to sharpen this Axe but it's difficult..

Trythm swims towards Alastor, takes the Axe, sharpens it.

Yue Qingyuan goes silent, lips part in what seemed to be a brief pause of confusion before his shoulders relax. A hummed sound of content leaves him, as he idly scratches at his jawline, seemingly thoughtful. He is, however, embarrassed, though he does not act it.

"Ah, it is true... Shen-shidi does come first, I apologize. Those meetings have taken much of my time." His voice softens as he speaks, almost as if he was afraid to admit it. Yue Qingyuan was not, he was just a bit amused to see such a reaction from his lover.

"Perhaps now that shidi is here, we can have another meeting? We can discuss anything you wish to discuss, however, I fear as if, if I do not have tea or desserts, it would be a tedious meeting."

💢: Helping a Loved One || dolls, love, hatred, violence

"what is wrong?"

The sentiment is cloyingly lovely and utterly hollow, like the thing that uttered the words. I should have known better than to speak them in the first place, should have known the doll would just echo them back.

Introspection was not within its capabilities; no matter how complex the model, if you wanted to know what was going on inside a doll, you had to go poking around inside it with your hands, not your words.

"Nothing." How many times have I said it?

I'm worried about you, I want to say, but it would only say it back.

I don't know what's wrong with you, I want to say, but it would only tell me it doesn't know or that nothing at all is wrong. If it could love me back, the way I love it, it would never tell me that.

Frustration and anger sulk in my stomach and sour both its contents and my mood, mingling with a third cup of the coffee that's my only sustenance since--I can't remember. My fingers tense unbidden and I yank my hands out of the thing's chest before they crush any delicate parts.

"I'll help you," I lie to it, as we both look down at my trembling hands.

"this one will help you."

A tear falls into my lap, but I hadn't been crying. It narrowly misses my balled-up fists. When had they done that? I relax them, try to stand and my knees tremble, so I steady myself against the tool bench with a hand.

"I'll fix you!" I yell at it, and the hammer smashes the delicate hinges of its jaw before it can deceive me again, spiderweb cracks spreading from the point of impact along the cold, smooth surface.

"God damn it!" The gods died long ago. When had my stomach emptied itself? The coffee was long gone and only rage filled it now, sustaining me.

"I hate you." The words are cold, as empty as if the doll had spoken them. I swing callously, and the hammer strikes at its frigid, gemstone heart, shattering the mirror.

"...I fucking hate you."
