After your shower, you wear your sweatshirt and shorts and go out towards the dining table where he's waiting for you. He was standing there leaning back on the counter. He comes forward when he sees you,giving you a little smile. He comes forward to pull the chair for you..you stop in your track looking at his smile cause this is the first time he's smiling at you.

"You're scaring me seungcheol." You say with eyes wide and round.

"Huh? Why? Because I pulled the chair for you?" He asks raising his eyebrows.

"That too but because you just smiled" you say looking & blinking up at him, eyes still round in surprise.

He narrows his eyes at you,"You are not gonna stop teasing me, are you?" He asks you notice his ears turning Red.

"I was dead serious, i got chills. You've never smiled at me ,last time I saw you smile was at the wedding,when you were forcefully smiling at the guests" You say finally sitting down.

He moves to arrange the dishes infront of you serving you, "Well yeah ..but I'm a human, I do smile ...I don't mean to scare you but you'll see it more often from now on " He says smiling again.

"Did you add anything in the food ?" You're half teasing him now but you're also half serious. You watch his eyes go comically wide "Oh my god, nooo ..why would you-" He shakes his head ,grabbing the chopsticks taking the food from each bowls and tasting it "see-" "nothings in there you can eat it." He says sitting down on his chair infront of you. You're trying to stifle your smile "okay okay sorry"

Well technically it isn't your fault. It's a very reasonable doubt. First he smiled at you, now he's giving you food to eat.

The idea of him being nice to you was too far fetched but him wanting to get rid of you, may be murder you, seems kind of right. Because let's be honest, he has always looked like he has a stick up his ass and whenever he talked it was venom. So your doubt is kind of reasonable.

There's spaghetti, spicy noodles, rice and chicken.

"What food do you like? "He asks you, trying to be casual "I wasn't sure so I just- got this" He says gesturing towards the food.

"This is fine I like rice in my meals , I like chicken too, seafood too, what about you ?" You ask back, glancing at him while eating the spaghetti.

"I like pretty much everything I love food..meat, rice, ramyeon everything.."

He says chewing on his food.

He initiates most of the conversations, it was quite awkward because you were not used to this.

"I always wanted to ask this but..did you have any girlfriend when our marriage was fixed? " You ask wiping your mouth with the napkin, looking at him for the answer.

"No I didn't..though I did think about bringing a fake one so I could break our marriage.."his lips twitch .."but I knew it wouldn't work, my father knows too much about me." He says shaking his head to the side.

"Ohh..I thought you had one that's why you hated me so much."

"Again I don't hate you..I never did,it's just I, i was angry i still am but I've got it now you shouldn't be the one on the receiving end of it ..i wasn't in the right mindset since our marriage was decided. You would know, you didn't like me too you were angry just as much, we almost didn't talk in the first month of our marriage..we avoided each other like plague" He chuckles.

"Well yeah I was in bad state too..it took so much for me to actually build some courage or even hope to actually talk to you , I didn't think you'd react so badly" You chuckle.."I just thought I'm trying so you'd open up to me too. But you were an asshole about it." You shrug.

"Okay say that as many times as you want until you feel better." He says in all seriousness nodding at you

"Daily..for two months atleast..i think I'll feel so much better" You say nodding back at him.

He closes his eyes with a sigh and opens them again "okay you can totally do that. I'm ok with it"

"Great then! Good night." You say getting up from the chair.

"Uhm ya good night ..sleep well." He says awkwardly smiling at you.

It's been a month since seungcheol is being nice to you. You're not as doubtful of him now. You've seen him, observed him enough to know that may be he really has changed, he really is showing his real side to you now, he has started to open up to you and he is making you feel comfortable around him now. You eat breakfast and dinner together these days ..sometimes he even texts you to ask if he could come and pick you up from the work. You wouldn't say you became friends totally but you're getting there with baby steps.

That weird look you saw in his eyes is still there when he smiles at you awfully softly when you say something funny or when you talk in general. You haven't been able to figure out what it is but you will confront him about it. The butterflies you feel whenever he gives you that smile are another topic you haven't been able to understand..don't you despise him? Why does he have those stupidly attractive and adorable dimples? why would you like his smile? You're weird seriously.

It's his brother's anniversary party today and you are supposed to go together. As a couple.

"Y/n" He knocks at your door "Are you ready?"

"Yeah coming just 2 minutes!!" You shout from inside.

When you come out and he sees you, his breath gets stuck..heart skips a beat or two and he's just standing there looking at you. You were fixing your hair, when you look up at him, he's just standing there like a statue his ears are somewhat red. And you would be lying if you say you didn't blush looking at him standing there all handsome and just staring at you. You never denied it, you know you've got a fine as hell husband.

"Let's go?" You ask him taking him out of his trance.

"Uh? Yes let's go." He says smiling you walk behind him towards the door when he turns around and says "You look good."

"Thank you, you're looking good yourself." You say While avoiding his eyes, hoping he wouldn't notice your natural blush along with the make up.

"Thank you." He says smiling.

You're wearing a sparkly glitter off shoulder gown with a slit on the one side of thigh. Hair long and deep berry coloured lips. Seungcheol is wearing a white button down with black pants.

He opens the car door for you and closes it after you sit.

Few minutes pass,you are on your way. Seungcheol is sitting beside you,you're in his fancy car, and Ofcourse he has his own chauffeur.

Seungcheol sighs glancing at you"I didn't want to go. My parents will be there." He says with a frown.

"It's ok we can come back early may be" you say giving him a reassuring smile.

"Yeah" He nods.

"Also stick closer to me even if you don't want it. So many people will be there, the photos might even get out in the press. I already don't like this." You blow out a breath shaking your head.

"Who said I don't want to stick closer to you ?" He asks raising his eyebrows at you.

"You do?" You ask.

"Aren't you my friend? I'd rather stay with you than have to talk with them." He shrugs.

"When did I agree to be your friend? I clearly remember me saying I'll think about it."

"I- ok then." He says nodding and looking out of the window. He's clearly sulking. His hands crossed over his chest, a pout on his face.

You let out a surprised chuckle,"Wait are you really sulking right now?" You ask trying to look at him.

He huffs,"No I'm not."

"Yeah? Say that while looking at me" You poke his shoulder with your index finger and he shrugs it off. He's still looking out of the window.

"Ok ok I was kidding. We are friends, you've proved it by now." You say smiling and he turns to you.

He narrows his eyes at you,"Thank you. You're so mean."

You raise your eyebrows at him"More than you?"

"No" He says in a small voice "but it was in past. I haven't been mean to you since the last month,have I?"

"No you haven't and I hope you continue that cheol."

His head snaps towards you at the speed of light, "cheol? Wait did you call me cheol?" He asks eyes big and a happy smile on his face.

You get flustered for a second, you didn't realise you said that ..so you say "decide one thing do you or do you not want me to be your friend? Friends call each other by nicknames"

"No no I want you to call me that ,you just took me by surprise." He quickly explains.

You get out of the car and he holds out his hand for you. You look up at him,he smiles softly at you. You fight off the blooming blush on your cheeks and take his hand. He holds you so gently. His hand is so warm,it makes you adjust your hand properly in his and hold it by your fingers. He smiles at you again. Helps you on the stairs.

You go inside the venue and notice there really are so many people.

"Let's just go and wish hyung and wish wife first then we can go early." He says in your ear. You nod at him, the blush won't leave your face.

"Hey hyung -Noona Happy Anniversary to you both." Seungcheol says smiling at them and hugging his brother. His brother gets so happy seeing seungcheol, that too he brought you with him. You also wish them.Seungcheol nudges you to hold the gift he has been holding in his hand,so you both could give it to them.

He again holds your hand. Guiding you towards an area where you could sit. Just then his old friends call him, they talk to him..you whisper in his ear,"I'll go sit there or else my heels would kill me" You say pointing at the drink and snacks counter where surpringly are very few people. "Ok stay there I'll be there in 5 minutes" He says nodding. stroking your hand with his thumb before letting it go. You go and sit there and order a mocktail. Cheol wants to go to you, he keeps glancing at you but his friends won't stop talking. Just when he was glancing at you he notices a man standing few feets away from you staring at you, cheol follows his eyes going to your exposed leg and instantly feels his blood boil. He clenched his jaw, excusing himself from his friends. He goes straight to you blocking you from the man's view. Putting one of his hand on the counter and the other behind you on your chair,he's standing so close to you.

"Sorry I took so long didn't I? They won't stop talking" He says looking down at you.

You knew it was him,you smelled his cologne as soon as he was behind you. So you don't get startled. You look up at him when he talks to you. You notice him standing so close to you and raise your eyebrows at him. "Well it's ok"

He ignores your silent question and keeps looking at you, "what are you drinking?" He asks.

"Oh ..just a mocktail, I'm lightweight I can't handle alcohol" You give him a toothy grin looking up at him. And god he finds you adorably adorableeee. How can you be so fine and cute at the same time. He has this urge to pinch your cheeks, so he does,very lightly. Chuckling showing his own teeth on full display. Looking at you with that weird look again. "That's ok, I know a few more you'd like ..wait." Then he shifts his attention from you to the bartender, telling him a few names.

As much as you liked him standing next to you, "Aren't you going to sit down?" You ask him tilting your head.

"Oh yeah" He says pulling a chair close towards you and sits down.

You enjoy the drinks he ordered for you complementing him that it really is good. He smiles at you that stupidly attractive dimple smile.

"You want to get out of here?" He speaks in your ear so you could hear him over the music.

"Home?" You ask him with furrowed eyebrows. He shakes his head smiling at you "you'll know let's go" He says getting up. You get up and nearly trip. He instantly grips you by your elbow. "Hey careful.. you ok?" He asks worried. You notice the hook of your heel is undone,he follows your gaze and instantly gets on his knees to fix it for you. Your eyes nearly bulge out of their sockets. And the butterflies? They are tickling your tummy so bad and may be they are sitting on your cheeks too.

You didnt expect him to do that "Cheol you don't need to-" he cuts you off,getting up.

"It's ok, let's go" He smiles taking your hand in his again. God you're blushing and you notice a few people looking at you two.

Seungcheol sees his parents approaching and speeds up instantly. You sigh when you're out in the open air. "Till when you're not going to talk to them. Your mom looked so sad, you should atleast talk to her."

"I don't know y/n ..They need to understand I'm not a robot who's supposed to follow their orders. I've feelings too."

"Sorry I didn't mean to upset you"

"You didn't"

He takes you to a place where it's so peaceful, you can hear the crickets chirping, you hear the water flowing and the best part is the night sky filled with infinite stars. "Woah" you look up in awe. swirling yourself to capture the whole sky in your eyes.

"You like it?"

"Like? Cheol I love it" You say laughing and he thinks the stars you're holding in your eyes right now are even more precious and beautiful than the actual ones.

"I'm glad you love it".. "You're about to love it even more." He says giving you a mischievous smile.

You look at him confused your brows furrowed. He goes to the car taking a white bag from it and bringing it to you.

"When did you even get this?" You look at him eyes wide when he takes out the yummiest looking fried chicken and burgers. "I told hanbin to buy it" He says gesturing towards the car where the said chauffeur hanbin is.

You eat it while sitting on the bench.

You giggle looking at him "what?" He asks cheeks filled with the burger he's eating.

"You look like a four year old baby eating. Look you've got sauce and crumbs all over your lips." You say still giggling.

"Just say I look cute and go." He says narrowing his eyes at you. And he really does look so cute you almost coo.

"And you're no one to talk you've got sauce on your lips too" He says grabbing a tissue and wiping it gently on the side of your lips. You pause eating. Why's he doing this to you?? first he held your hands, then he fixed your heels, he brought you at such a beautiful place and now this. And how can you forget he brought his jacket from the car because he noticed you getting cold, the butterflies, the heartbeats everything has been a mess for you. And him? He seems so casual about it like it's the most normal thing to do, making you feel like you're only overthinking.

You reach home, and your thoughts won't let you be in peace so you hold his sleeves from behind stopping him. He turns towards you,"hmm?" His thoughts were filled with you too, thinking how you'd now go in your room and he can't be close to you, how tomorrow is too long to see you again.

You can't pull him towards you so you step towards him, tightening your hold on his sleeves. "I've questions for you." You say looking him in the eye. And his eyes go a little wide but he's quick to mask it. "Okay..go ahead."

"Why do you look at me like that?"

"Huh?"

"You have been looking at me like that alot these days..are you hiding something from me? " You ask him further.

In one swift motion he removes your hand from his sleeves and envelops it in his own.

"Do you still not trust me?"

"I'm not saying that, I'm asking why are you looking at me like that ..the way look at me it changed..you have been acting so weird since last month and i didnt actually buy it completely when you said you started acting nice to me because i didnt eat dinner and breakfast ..i mean come on that doesnt make that much sense ..look at you holding my hand right now, and do you want me to say every little thing you did today?"

"Will you say anything or am I just crazy?"

You notice his cheeks turning Red.

"You're gonna make me say it, Aren't you?" He whispers.

"Make you say what?" Your own voice not above a whisper as he's looking at you like that

He steps closer to you, hand still holding yours. "Promise me you won't get angry at me or won't forget this past month we spent together?." He says worrying his lower lip between his teeth.

You have not seen him this nervous before."Depends on what you're going to say cheol ..but ok I'll try..what is it" You ask tilting your head at him, for some reason you're nervous too. You liked this past month so much,you don't want to ruin your progress.

"I-" He takes a long breath with closed eyes and then again matches your gaze. "What if I told you I actually like you?"

Your heart starts speeding at his words, "That's something I never thought would be an option ..but do you?" You ask tentatively, your eyebrows furrowed.

"I do" He says tightening his hold on your hand. "I like you y/n."

You keep looking up at him, opening and closing your mouth again not knowing what to say, your brain is covered by fog suddenly.

"Please say something..I'm kind of dying here" He says holding your hand as if you'll go away from him any second.

"Since when?" You ask

"From last two months, since I admitted it to myself. But i think i started to like you even before that,unknowingly. " He tells you, his eyes vulnerable.

" Are you right now saying that was you liking me? Really? I don't understand two months back you were far from liking me" You look at him confused.

His cheeks get warmer again with the embarrassment,"I know I'm sorry that was me being an idiot you know me by now..i- I purposely tried to push you away because I didn't want to give my parents the satisfaction that I did end up liking the girl they chose for me against my will." He says squeezing his eyes shut in embarrassment.

"Huh" You huff in disbelief.."Are you saying you made me suffer, let me think of myself as a fool , just because you were in denial and you didn't want to like me?? You idiottt" You say trying to free your hand from his hold and hitting his chest with the other one. "You idiot of a man you idiot" You say hitting him again and again.

"I know..I know I'm sorry ..I'm sorry,just one last time I swear I won't give you any reason to complain again, just one last time ..I'm not an idiot anymore I swear, I'd rather hurt myself than hurt you again ." He doesn't leave your hand(you stop trying after few attempts) and let's you hit him as much as you want, until you stop and your hand drops by your side.

You look up at him with your own vulnerable eyes, they're glossy and seungcheol curses himself all over again.

Your eyes going from his one eye to another and then you're lurching forward to hug him.. You bury yourself in his neck/shoulder, hands looping around his waist, clutching his shirt in a tight hold. You close your eyes, trying to calm yourself and just dissolve in his arms. On the other hand he thinks his heart stopped beating for a second when you hugged him because he didn't expect that, he thought you'll be mad at him again. But soon he holds you to himself again pulling you closer. Burying his face in your hair, taking a deep breath,finally letting out a sigh. He feels like he'll cry any second. He has never felt such intense emotions for anyone before. You do something to him which he can't quite explain. "I'm sorry." He says in a quite whisper,as if it'll break your bubble if he even let's out a loud breath.

You notice the crack in his voice and say,"shut up ..I hate you." Your own voice a whisper too as you breath in his scent,clutching the fiber of his shirt even more tightly.

"Mhm It's ok..I'll take that too" He says smiling to himself. Pressing his lips on your hair,kissing there a few times.

It's like both of you don't want let each other go because you just keep standing there hugging each other.

You think it's been 10 minutes.

"I like this but my feet are starting to hurt." You mumble in his shoulder. He opens his eyes to look down at you, you pull back to look at him too.

"Oh ..you're still wearing your heels." He says looking down, you both are blushing, your cheeks tell it all.

"Sit here" He says, guiding you to the couch with your hand.

He gets down on his knees for the second time today. Carefully taking your leg on his knee and undoing the hooks of your heels one by one..his soft light touch sends goosebumps on your skin. "Oh..you're whipped for me ..Mr. Choi, who would've thought" You say with a teasing smile. Inside you're a blushing mess but you won't leave a chance to tease him.

"And if I am?" He says raising one of his eyebrow and he's smirking Ofcourse. Oh you're gone..cause there is no reason to find this so hot as you're finding it right now. And that brat doesn't stop at that, he squeezes your ankle in his hand pulling it towards himself. You shiver at his touch, and try to fight off the blush on your cheeks but fail so badly, so you just look away from him, avoiding his eyes. He smirks even more then let's out a chuckle.

He removes the other heel too. "You won't answer me?" He asks Standing up. "No" You reply. He chuckles again saying "ok tomato." "Wha-?What kind of a nickname is that?" You say looking up at him with a huff. "Because you look like one right now" He says poking your cheek with his index finger. Dimples blooming fully on his cheeks. "Yeah? Should've looked at yourself a few minutes ago" You say huffing, standing up. Brushing past him,he instantly catches your hand, "let me walk you to your room you're limping ..are you sure you're ok? Does it hurt bad?" He asks looking down at you worriedly. "It's ok it'll go away..just the side effect of wearing pretty heels." You say pouting at your feet.

"I can totally massage them ..or pick you up if you want." He says. You turn to him narrowing your eyes at him. "Just saying" He shrugs trying to stifle his smile. When you turn again going to turn the nob of your door. He pulls you a little making you look at him. "Are you going to come out again after changing? We could talk.." He says nibbling his lip. He just doesn't want to let you go. "Talk about what?" You ask softly, raising your brows at him. "Just..anything" He shrugs. "Ok I'll see." You say ..he let's you go with a sigh then whispering an "ok".

And you're no different you don't want to go as well. So you turn around calling him, "Seungcheol" This time you're the one catching his hand. "Hmm?" He turns around and you go forward, pulling his hand keeping it on your waist and holding both of his cheeks in your hands.. you stand up on your toes and press your lips on his. His eyes go wide, but he's quick to hold you. After a second of glitching he quickly holds your jaw with other hand and turns his head to the side to kiss you better. He walks you backward slowly,pressing you on the door. Your noses bumping with each other. He's kissing you so gently yet so intensely and you're trying to return it as much as possible. You pull back to catch your breaths.

"Guess you're whipped for me too Huh?" He says exhaling above your lips, wiping his thumb over your lower lip.."And if I am?" You say with a smirk repeating what he had said. You watch his eyes go from wide and round to dark and dangerous in a second before he groans and presses his lips on yours again, more harshly this time. "Mhm" You let out and press yourself further in his arms looping your hands in his neck, and his hair pulling and caressing the hair on his nape.

"A-are you- trying to kill me baby?" He asks in between the kiss,pulling back so you could hear him. "Shit - don't- call me that" You say between the sharp exhales to catch your breath. "Youh-you don't like it? " he asks furrowing his eyebrows, removing the hair strands from your face with his fingers and putting them behind your ear.

"Nah..I like it too much.. that's the problem." You say your eyes going from his eyes to his lips. He smiles, again those damn dimples. He chuckles and presses his lips on yours gently, you feel it tickle your lips. "Thank you for telling me that ..baby" He says,talking over your lips. You feel his smile growing. And looking at him that happy and smiley, you laugh too..pressing your giggles to his lips. "I'm not letting you go now..it's all your fault" He says pulling you to himself again kissing you properly.

Helloooo could u please do Poseidon cabin next? My hc is that they can be either very chill like typical calm surf kids and super relaxed (like calm and relaxing waves” or unhinged af like chaotic, super fun in a bit of crazy way and overall more energetic and like yeah unhinged (like Percy). Lil obvs usually overall the same calm, go-with-the-flow kind of kids but also either very chill or very chaotic. Wanna know what u think tho… so yeah. Poseidon cabin if u can please?

hi!! of course i can do poseidon cabin hcs! i honestly have a lot of ideas about poseidon kids. thank you so much for the request and i hope you like these!

i totally agree with you that there are two ways a poseidon kid can turn out

1) totally chaotic (percy)

2) totally chill surfer kid

there are a few people who are a mix of chaotic and surfer, which makes them actually really fun to surf with, but only perodically, because while surfing with them is fun it can also be kinda scary at times

continuing on with water sports

poseidon kids are naturally really good at any and all watersports

they can often be found as the captains of swim teams

and very good at waterskiing and waterboarding

a go-to job for a poseidon kid is lifeguard as well, obviously

poseidon kids also don't eat seafood

some people find this confusing and some people find this obvious, i personally think it's obvious

it's because they can understand what fish are saying, so they don't like eating them

if you ask them why that bothers them, they'll say "you know what people are saying, would you eat them?"

not the most sound logic, but they're not exactly known for that

all poseidon kids have natural beach waves

poseidon himself definitely has beachy wavy hair, and he definitely passes that onto his kids

just like hecate and athena pass on their eye color to their kids, poseidon passes on his hair

poseidon kids are hardly ever seen wearing shoes unless it's absolutely necessary

they just naturally feel more comfortable barefoot

they love spending time at the beach, obviously

little beach creatures always manage to find their way to them

like you'll look away from a poseidon kid at the beach for about two seconds, and look back, and they have a little crab in their hand

sometimes they can look a little crazy, because they'll start having conversations with these little creatures

another thing about the beach with poseidon kids:

yknow the thing where whenever you leave the beach, you have sand just everywhere

they don't

it's something to be genuinely envious of when it comes to poseidon kids

like, they'll shake out their towel and there will be no sand on it, and then it's just done

it's definitely magic, a gift from their godly father

poseidon kids also hate aquariums

most aquariums don't treat the fish like they need to be treated, so going to an aquarium is kind of traumatic for a poseidon kid, because they can understand what the fish are saying

a kind of universal traumatic event for any poseidon kid is going to an aquarium on a field trip in elementary school (not yet aware that they're the child of poseidon) and hearing the fishes beg for help to be liberated from the prison they were being kept in

and when they got to the touch tank, hearing the fish beg to not be touched, things like that

like any and all poseidon kids ran around ripping everyone's hands out of the water, begging them to stop touching the fishes because they didn't like it

needless to say they got picked up early that day

poseidon kids also tan really easily

like, they'll fully walk past a sunny window and get tan

like for the full summer season, they're tan

they also stay tan for a really long time, so they're honestly still tan into like spooky season

poseidon kids are also very good at throwing parties

it's their chaotic side

they know where and how to get the best decorations, where the best spot to set everything up is

(and where to get good alcohol without getting caught, but you didn't hear that from me)

poseidon kids are the definition of horse people

not all horse people are children of poseidon but all children of poseidon are horse people

not in a cringy way, either, they just connect with horses more than any other animal, which makes sense because they can hear them and can have real relationships and conversations with them

they do often look a little bit crazy if they're seen at the stables fully having a conversation with horses

if they return to the stable where their horse is kept after spending all summer at camp, they'll go around catching up with all the other horses

they're also naturally skilled at riding horses

like if i jumped on a horse right now, i would fall off and die because i've never done it before and horse riding is a skill (according to the sims 4)

poseidon kids could go literally their whole life without riding a horse, and then jump on one during a quest and ride perfectly

the favorite movie genre of poseidon kids is also westerns, because they generally have horses in those movies, and they can understand their neighs

they think it's hilarious when a horse makes fun of the actor in the movie but no one but them can tell because they can understand what they're saying and no one else can

they look like crazy people watching westerns

at the camp movie nights, whenever it's poseidon cabin's turn to pick the movie, they pick a western, and are laughing at the most inappropriate times in the movie, because the horse just neighed in the background and he was making fun of the actor guys! the horse thinks this makes as much sense as we do, trust me, he has a really good sense of humor

going back to the aquarium thing a little bit, poseidon kids are also not a huge fan of zoos

sometimes they're treated better than aquarium animals, but poseidon kids are always hesitant to go to the zoo, or just any place where you go and look at animals of any kind for fun

they can't help but think how they would feel if they were in that position

so basically poseidon kids have the hugest hearts ever

and they're very brave as well

and basically the coolest ever

Very random the Outsiders headcanons

To begin with we have food headcanons:

They all have a certain tastes in pizza!!

Johnny really likes olives on his pizza, like he just loves it.

Darry is a chicken bacon ranch pizza guy. it's his favorite pizza.

Dally really likes supreme pizzas but he can't stand pineapple on pizza. other than that he doesn't care.

Two bit LOVES pineapple on pizza, it's one of his favorites. (he argues w/ dally about it constantly). Him and Steve have no pickiness when it comes to pizza or food in general .

Ponyboy on the other hand is a VERY picky eater (me too man me too).

like he can't stand spicy foods, won't touch olives within an inch of his his life, has to have the edges of his sandwhiches cut off, won't eat pizza crust unless it's stuffed crust, hates cooked vegetables, the list goes on.

Ponyboy loves breadsticks!! it's one of the few foods he genuinely really loves. Same with pickles.

Steve is 100% the kid who you could pay to eat the gross food combinations that people came up with during lunch. yk, like the beans in milk? he would eat that. no hesitation.

Sodapop doesn't like soda because of the carbonation. (again that's me too I don't like drinking soda bc the fizz hurts my mouth).

Darry and Two bit are both lactose intolerant, Darry's just isn't as bad as Two's. Two bit does NOT care though because he loves eating lactose.

Also he loves BBQ sauce, Soda likes ketchup, and Pony loves ranch. like he LOVES it. he was the kid to eat it straight up.

Dallas hates sour foods, he can not stand pickles. He also hates fish, like he doesn't like sea food at all.

Dally also doesn't like mint, his favorite type of gum is watermelon.

He also is the type of person to chew with his mouth open. Like he didn't even realize he was doing it at first until people pointed it out. Then he did it to annoy them, especially Pony.

Ponyboy will get irritated and tell him to chew with his mouth shut and Dally would move his head so he was chewing directly into Pony's ear.

Johnny has random food cravings. like peanut butter on pickles, mustard on ice cream, etc. Pony has to hold back the urge to throw up.

Steve put sugar on his popcorn. he was also the type of person to have popcorn with his ice cream and m&ms and torn up pieces of candy bars & chocolate syrup, and probably maple syrup. he would throw any kind of sweet know to man into a bowl of ice cream and eat it.

Two bit really likes seafood. like he loves fish sticks.

Johnny was allergic to eggs and peaches as a kid. He isn't as much now, but he can't eat peaches anyway because he doesn't like the way they taste.

Headcanons w/ them and certain animals (dogs, cats, insects, etc.):

Darry loves dogs. He loves them and he really doesn't like cats because he thinks they're more of a hassle to take care of. Ponyboy loves cats and would rather have one than a dog. Sodapop loves both.

I saw someone else say Dally is scared of dogs and I just couldn't agree more. He really doesn't like them, and he isn't much of a cat person. He loves snakes though, like if he had the chance to have a pet snake he would 100% have one.

Ponyboy is terrified of any/all insects & bugs, including butterfly. He's allergic to bees as well.

He screams bloody murder if he sees a spider in the house and he HAS to be in a different room if there is one.

Johnny on the other hand isn't scared of them at all. He was the kid who would cry if someone squished a spider, so whenever Ponyboy is freaking out over one he will either a.) calmly pick it up and move it out of the house. or b.) be trying to capture it and tell ponyboy that it keeps moving so its hard to catch.

Then Darry would come in with a cup and paper and call them sissies.

Dally tormented Pony because of his fear of bugs. He would actually chase Pony around with a bug for his own enjoyment.

Miscellany headcanons:

Dallas finds horror movies hilarious. Like he isn't scared of them one bit and is completely unbothered. Johnny and Pony will be clinging to eachother during one and Dally is all like, "Cmon man, it's not even that scary!"

Johnny is afraid of thunderstorms and the dark. Like genuinely he is actually so scared of them.

Both Dally and Johnny bounce their legs when they're sitting, especially if they're nervous about something.

Ponyboy picks at the skin around his nails and Johnny scratches his hands a lot when he's nervous, neither of them really realize they're doing it.

Pony can't stand sherpa. like if the last remaining blanket was sherpa, he would rather sleep without a blanket.

Pony isn't the biggest fan of heights or rollercoasters and Soda doesn't like carnival rides that spin because they make him nauseous.

Dallas would rather die than use sunscreen, he absolutely hates it. Ponyboy loves sunscreen.

Two bit burns really easily. like he'll be outside for 30 minutes and he's already getting sunburnt.

Johnny doesn't go anywhere without his Jean jacket, it's his comfort item.

Steve was the kid to chew on his hoodie strings and his pencils. He couldn't have a wooden pencil without it having so many bite marks in it.

Darry cracks like every single one of his bones and it is so LOUD. He'll twist so he can stretch his back and it'll sound like if firecrackers and rice crispies had a baby.

Random headcanons on the Weston boys

Okay since Weston anime is out, I’ll be sharing some headcanons I’ve collected during 10+ years of being obsessed with this saga and its characters.

I’ve been so invested into these headcanons that I consider them to be canon at this point. Anyway please don’t be mad if they don’t match your personal headcanon, it’s still my own interpretation and silly ideas about characters that don’t belong to me so anyone can disagree.

First I’m gonna write down the ones that involve more than one character, then I’ll be more specific and list them by character.

Brace yourselves for a pile of totally self-indulging blabbering.

Lawrence and Edgar are canonically childhood friends (Yana confirmed it), I like to think they grew up together thanks to their mothers being best friends with each other.

While Lawrence and Edgar already knew each other since birth, they met Herman and Gregory during their first year at Weston.

Because of the rivalry, friendship between students from different dorms has always been rather frowned upon, so the boys decided to put all their efforts in becoming the best students of their respective dorm to one day become Prefects and be free to meet and be friends without being judged by other students.

To freely chat and keep in contact prior to becoming P4, they secretly exchanged letters hidden among the library’s textbooks.

While we know Lawrence has 7 sisters, Edgar and Herman don’t have any sibling, while Gregory has an older brother. He’s doesn’t talk about him often as they’re not very close and don’t get along well.

Gregory met Cheslock while he was at his 3rd year (Cheslock is one year younger). They often spent their free time in their dorm’s common room, Cheslock would practice violin and Gregory would silently sit near him while drawing. One day he made a portrait of Cheslock and left it near him as a gift with the encouraging inscription “Keep playing”. The next day Cheslock asked him if he had any request for him on what to play, and that’s how they started talking to each other.

Headcanons by single character

Edgar:

His zodiacal sign is sagittarius

He has a sweet tooth and would live on sweet food alone

His maternal grandmother is french

His noble title comes from his mother, who is a Viscountess and older sister to Viscount of Druitt

He’s either pan or gay

Lawrence:

His zodiacal sign is capricorn

He’s ambidextrous (he usually writes with his right hand but is more comfortable doing other activities with his left one)

His sisters’ names are: Isabel (6 years older than him), Deborah (4 years older than him), Madelyn (2 years older than him), Adela (the only one to have a canonical name, 5 years younger than him), Rebecca (the one who has a crush on Edgar, 7 years younger than him), Rosalind and Amelia (identical twins, 9 years younger than him)

His father is a banker

Pretty sure he’s either ace or gay

Herman:

His zodiacal sign is libra (though I feel like aries might suit him better)

He took after his mother the most

He’s notoriously good at many sports, but he’s not very good at dancing (he’s not graceful enough for that kind of activity)

He’s good at cooking

He’s either a straight ally or a disaster bi

Gregory:

His zodiacal sign is cancer (mayhap also aquarius could suit him tho)

He used to wear charcoal and inks as make-up in his early years at Weston

His father is a politician

He’s kind of a picky eater and doesn’t like meat and seafood

He’s 100000% ace-spec

Cheslock:

His zodiacal sign is scorpio

His iconic “scar” is actually make-up, though beneath it he does have a smaller scar on his left eyelid, which is the result of a quarrel with his sister when they were kids

His father is a surgeon

His full name is Victor Theodore, which he hates

Pretty sure he’s bi

I might add more in the future, though I don’t have many headcanons for other characters but who knows.

How Likely I'd Be to Eat TWST's Characters Favorite/Least Favorite Foods, Except I'm a Picky Eater

I've decided that from now on, all of my titles are going to be anime title length, and no one can stop me. Anyways, I'm bored and haven't done Twst content in a while, so I thought I would today. Feel free to share y'all's opinions in the comments/reblogs if y'all want.

Riddle

Favorite: Strawberry tarts

Literally 10/10. I love strawberry tarts, or anything with strawberries really.

Least favorite: Junk food

Also 10/10. I eat a lot of junk food (especially on depression days), so I'm all for eating it.

Trey

Favorite: Candied violets

3/10. I don't like eating flowers, but I'd consider it since they're candied. I probably wouldn't like them though.

Least favorite: Mustard

8/10. It's not my favorite condiment, and I'm very picky about what I put it on, but I love mustard.

Cater

Favorite: Spicy ramen

7/10. It depends on how spicy and what brand of ramen. I only eat a very certain brand, and my spice tolerance depends on the day.

Least favorite: anything sweet

5/10. Depends on what sweets and how sweet. I do have a sweet tooth, but I'm more picky about sweets than any other flavor.

Ace

Favorite: Cherry pie

0/10. I cannot stand cherries. The texture and flavor makes me sick and I can hardly even look at them.

Least favorite: Raw oysters

0/10. I also hate seafood, but especially oysters. Again, it's all about the texture. They're too slimy.

Deuce

Favorite: Anything with eggs

10/10. Eggs are my favorite form of protein, and I could honestly eat them with every meal. I love eggs a lot.

Least favorite: Bell peppers

4/10. I can only tolerate them when they're cut super fine and mixed in with other things. I grew up in Louisiana, so it's common to find bell peppers in basically everything, so I've grown somewhat immune to them.

Leona

Favorite: Meat

6/10. Depends on what kind of meat and how it's prepared. There are some meats I love, and some I can't stand, especially things like steak or roast.

Least favorite: Vegetables

7/10. I live veggies, but I'm super picky about them. I only really like lettuce, carrots, and broccoli, and I have to have them prepared very specifically. I will also only eat lettuce in a sandwich or in a salad, and I only eat carrots and broccoli raw with ranch.

Ruggie

Favorite: Donuts

5/10. I like donuts, but only on very specific occasions. I also prefer donut holes because I find regular donuts too filling and sugary. I love blueberry and red velvet donuts the most.

Least favorite: Anything rotten

0/10. I've eaten rotten food before, and it is not pleasant. I don't know who would honestly enjoy rotten food.

Jack

Favorite: Pear compote

0/10. Pears are on par with cherries for being one of my least favorite fruits. I cannot stand pears.

Least favorite: Green onions

9/10. I love green onions, but only in soups and stuff. Potato soup with green onions is always a winning combination to me.

Azul

Favorite: Fried chicken

11/10. Fried chicken might actually be my favorite savory food. I live right next to a Popeyes, and I eat there religiously. Fried chicken cannot be beat in my eyes.

Least favorite: Health food

4/10. Some health food is okay, but i can never stick with it for too long before I'm either bored or sick.

Jade

Favorite: Octopus carpaccio

0/10. I hate seafood, and I hate raw food even more. I genuinely have no clue why people enjoy eating raw meat/fish.

Least favorite: Conger eel

0/10. Again, I cannot stomach seafood. Also, eel? You can eat eel? Idk but it sounds gross.

Floyd

Favorite: Takoyaki

2/10. Okay, I know I've been talking about how much I hate seafood, but I've always wanted to try takoyaki. Will I hate it? Yes, but I still want the experience.

Least favorite: Shiitake mushrooms

-10/10. Mushrooms might actually be my least favorite food ever. The texture and taste are both awful, and even the look and smell are enough to make my gag.

Kalim

Favorite: Coconut juice

5/10. I'm not a fan of coconut, but I've never tried the juice, so I'm not sure if I'll like it or not. I'd be down to try it at least.

Least favorite: Curry

6/10. Would depend on spice levels, what kind of curry, etc. I can't remember if I've ever had curry, but it doesn't sound unpleasent.

Jamil

Favorite: Curry

Same as before.

Least favorite: Dates

3/10. Absolutely not. I refuse to touch dates. I'll give them a slight chance because I've had worse.

Vil

Favorite: Homemade smoothies

8/10. I really like smoothies. My favorite is strawberry and banana. I'm a little more hesitant about stuff like kale smoothies, but I still like smoothies overall.

Least favorite: Mayonnaise

9/10. My house always had mayo in the fridge, and I refuse to eat sandwiches without it. I love mayo, and it's definitely a top 5 condiment for me.

Rook

Favorite: Liver pâté

0/10. Why do so many of them have an interest in raw meat? That's why all of them are so weird. They keep eating raw meat.

Least favorite: Garlic

8/10. Yes, I am that guy who enjoys garlic chips. And, yes, I put garlic in basically everything I consume. I just really like the stuff.

Epel

Favorite: Grilled meats/Macarons

7/10 for grilled meat. I like grilled chicken, but only sometimes. 10/10 for macarons. I am obsessed with macarons, especially fruity flavors.

Least favorite: Apple pears

2/10. I don't like pears, but I'd be more willing to try them since they're somewhat similar to apples, which I do like.

Idia

Favorite: Sweets

10/10. I love sweets, even if I am picky about them. I prefer stuff like pastries over stuff like candy, but I like candy too.

Least favorite: Raw fish

0/10. Again, raw meats/seafood is just such a strange concept to me. I think I've said enough on the topic by now.

(skipping Ortho bc both his fave and least fave are literally nothing)

Malleus

Favorite: Ice cream

7/10. I'm sort-of picky about ice cream, but it's mostly a flavor thing. When it's a flavor I like, ice cream is one of my faves. But if it's a flavor I don't like, it's one of the worst foods ever.

Least favorite: Full-sized cakes

3/10. Cake is okay, but I could never eat a full-sized cake. Also, cake is one of the desserts I'm pickiest about, so it's not a preference for me.

Lilia

Favorite: Tomato juice

5/10. I don't like tomatoes, but I do like smoothe tomato soup (never chunky), so maybe I'd like tomato juice.

Least favorite: Marshmallows

10/10. I love marshmallows so much. The texture makes me very happy, and I especially love the big ones that take multiple bites to eat.

Silver

Favorite: Mushroom risotto

0/10. Again, I cannot stand even the thought of mushrooms, so I doubt I'd like it in a risotto. Maybe I'd try it for Silver though. Maybe.

Least favorite: Lilia's cooking

-10/10. Absolutely not. I refuse to even humor the idea of trying Lilia's cooking.

Sebek

Favorite: Salmon carpaccio

1/10. Seriously, why is there so much raw seafood mentioned in this game?? I gave this one 1 point because I do like salmon, but I still wouldn't eat it.

Least favorite: Black coffee

2/10. I do not like coffee, black or otherwise. I'd be willing to give it a try since it's been a while since I've had it, but I doubt I'd like it.

Grim

Favorite: Canned tuna

7/10. I like tuna, and I honestly wouldn't mind it from a can, but it's not my favorite type of fish.

Crowley

Favorite: Wild game

5/10. Depends on the type of game and how it's cooked, but it wouldn't be the worst thing to try.

Crewel

Favorite: Raisin butter

1/10. I dislike raisins very much, but I'd hesitantly try it in butter because I do like butter.

Trein

Favorite: Vichyssoise

3/10. I don't like leeks, but I do like potatoes, so maybe it's balance out and I'd like it. However, I'm also a pessimist, so I'm giving it a low score anyways.

Vargas

Favorite: Raw eggs

2/10. Here in America, eating raw eggs is very dangerous, so it's a no from me, but I do know people in other countries eat raw eggs, so maybe I'd like it.

Sam

Favorite: Chicken gumbo

10/10. Like I said, I grew up in Louisiana, so of course I love gumbo. I don't like seafood gumbo, but chicken gumbo is easily top tier for me.

TWST: Hot Pot/K-BBQ

[Synopsis]: All eight dorms trying Hot Pot/K-BBQ.

[(A/N)]: The family and I went out for Hot Pot during New Year’s Eve in which this idea popped up because I don’t think anyone else thought of this.

[TW]: Some cursing in the HCs and food.

[Edit]: There would be some changes to the writing as I realized there’s some grammatical errors needing to be fixed.

HEARTSLABYUL

Riddle Rosehearts

A first-timer as the concepts of cooking for yourselves at a restaurant is completely foreign to him.

Still new to everything, he probably tried to count how long the food is supposed to cook and/or what to combine which sauces unless there’s a guide to mixing up the franchise’s signature dipping sauce.

Overall he’ll definitely enjoy the experience.

Unless a certain duo ruins the moment.

Trey Clover

Obviously the “unofficial chef” of the group.

Helps orders most of the food for everyone and the other members pitch in for what they want to try.

Has to remind everyone not to forget to eat their vegetables.

He may have more than one dipping sauce from the sauce bar.

Definitely has interesting combinations of food during Hot Pot/K-BBQ.

Cater Diamond

The one who recommended trying out Hot Pot/K-BBQ.

The type who would try out the viral trends involving these kind of eateries like the Meat Strip twirling trend. (Totally did not accidentally flung his strip somewhere at somebody’s face.)

If there’s Hot Pot, he’s ordering the spiciest broth; if there’s K-BBQ, he’s ordering the spiciest marinated meat. Either spicy Bulgolgi or Samgyeopsal.

He takes many pictures and records everything for MagiCam.

Ace Trappola

Most definitely orders more meat/seafood until Trey reminded him to eat his greens.

He would be impatient waiting for the food to be safe to consume.

Would definitely attempt to take one bite of a lettuce wrap. (He almost choked-)

He would fight against Deuce for the last piece of Kobe beef.

Deuce Spade

Would try anything if he likes it or not.

Definitely would order 계란찜 [Gyeran Jjim] [Korean steamed egg] as one of the side dishes.

Planning on taking his mother and grandmother out for Hot Pot/K-BBQ next time.

Would also fight against Ace for the last Kobe beef until Riddle scolded the two.

SAVANACLAW

Leona Kingscholar

We already know this motherfucker hates vegetables so he only orders from the meat section of the menu.

Probably goes to an high-end Hot Pot/K-BBQ restaurant.

Definitely has Ruggie in charge of cooking the food.

Doesn’t really order side dishes.

Ruggie Bucchi

Oh, he hit the jackpot.

He would order something expensive and new because the Savanaclaw Dorm Leader is paying for everything.

Put in charge by Leona to cook the food and also getting the dipping sauces.

If allowed, he’ll ask the waiter/waitress to pack some leftovers so they’re sent to his granny and the other kids back home.

Jack Howl

Actually enjoying the experience.

He’ll order assorted meat and vegetables moderately while also creating his own dipping sauce of his liking.

Waits patiently for the food to be ready to consume.

Would go again, but next time with the First Year gang.

OCTAVINELLE

Azul Ashengrotto

Absolutely coming up with new ideas for the Monstro Lounge while trying out Hot Pot/K-BBQ.

He’ll order whatever he thought would be a new idea as a upcoming concept for the menu back in his business.

If it’s Hot Pot, I can see him ordering a Miso-based broth.

He would absolutely strike up a deal with the restaurant’s owner if they can collaborate with their establishment and the Monstro Lounge.

Jade Leech

One word. Seafood. (Minus any conger eel.)

With Hot Pot, he’ll order some wood ear fungi (plus other assorted mushroom) and let me tell you, they tasted amazing while having a crunchy texture.

With K-BBQ, King Oyster mushrooms (or any available edible fungi) with everything. (Unless he somehow snuck his shrooms in.)

He has patience for the food to be ready to consume.

Floyd Leech

Orders mostly seafood, especially a ton of shrimp related items like Shrimp paste balls, prawns, etc.

Also waits impatiently for his food to be ready.

Has ordered some side dishes to munch on.

He would also try doing one bite of a lettuce wrap. (Not surprisingly, he didn’t choke.)

SCARABIA

Kalim al Asim

Absolutely having a great time trying an experience where you cook food in front of you.

He’s the one asking if the food is ready yet.

Kalim: Is it ready? How about now? What about now?

Has to be careful not to burn himself as he’s basically cooking up close.

Very generous to paying for everything. (Staff members having a pay day.)

Jamil Viper

We already know he’s the “chef” during the experience.

He also has to taste-test the food if there’s no poison or anything lethal to harm Kalim.

Has the best dipping sauce out of everyone in the HCs.

He probably added his own spices in his broth/the meat during K-BBQ.

POMEFIORE

Vil Schöenheit

Last time he went out in public to a Hot Pot/K-BBQ, all franchises of the name were packed with his fans.

Most likely went to a high-end Hot Pot/K-BBQ restaurant like Leona.

He’ll order an herbal-based/a vegetarian broth and more on vegetables than meat.

He would shower three times as this is a downside for this type of meal, every time after you have Hot Pot/K-BBQ, you would reek of smoky barbecue and strong broth smells.

Rook Hunt

He would voluntarily be the “chef” for Vil.

Would likely to ordered something like coagulated pigs blood. (Why? Probably because it reminds him of his favorite food, Liver pâté.) [(A/N): Also don’t be weirded out from this HC because that’s what I grew up eating with whenever I have hot pot.]

He would praise everything. The food, the atmosphere, the service, and the staff members.

He also needs to shower three times because if he decides to roam around doing his “hobby”, it’s better to not let anyone know where he’s hiding.

Epel Felmier

This country boy is having a great time of his life.

Meat is his favorite so he orders a lot of it, but got scolded by Vil to not forget his veggies.

Like Ace and Floyd, he tried to one shot a whole lettuce wrap. (He barely swallowed.)

He tries to not shower as he doesn’t smell anything, but everyone else can so off to the showers he goes. No protests with Vil.

IGNIHYDE

Idia Shroud

We already know this guy is extremely anxious of going outside without the sanctuary of his room, so he used the equivalent of DoorDash to order Hot Pot/K-BBQ.

He’s picky to some of the food, but gets scolded by Ortho for that.

Would have an effective built-in ventilation system to get rid of lingering smells.

Would order again for a Pre-game meal.

Ortho Shroud

He’s just analyzing the food like from the Culinary Event.

Searches interesting facts about Hot Pot and K-BBQ.

Oh my god, this old fae would have a blast.

You can imagine he’ll order the most oddest choices from the menus. (Like Coagulated pigs blood, pig brains, Gopchang, chicken hearts, etc.) [(A/N): I need to clarify that not all Hot Pot/K-BBQ places have these items I named off of and as a reminder, most of everything I mentioned is what I grew up eating. It’s part of my culture.]

He would have the most smelliest broth for Hot Pot.

Afterwards, he’ll pack some leftovers and would use them for his cooking.

Lilia: Leftovers for the next few days!

This sleepy prince would fall asleep while waiting for the food be cooked.

Would order something for his own, even though Lilia insisted on ordering some items. (You already know what bat daddy will get.)

If there’s Hot Pot, I see him getting a something simple like mushroom broth. (Which is an option at a restaurant I went to with the fam.)

I can totally see him having a food coma after the meal.

Sebek Zigvolt

He would try Hot Pot/K-BBQ because Waka-sama also wants to try out the experience. (Fucking simp follower.)

Definitely orders salmon as a start.

Tries to stomach what Lilia offers from his plate.

Needs to shower afterwards if he doesn’t want to reek of barbecue/hot broth during his knightly duties.

Ramshackle ft. Miyeon Choi

Definitely getting their money’s worth because after all they deserve a feast from going through a ton of messed-up shit. (i.e. Overblot cases, NRC students being assholes, etc.)

Also Miyeon is treating them because variants needs to treat each other/themselves.

Just enjoying their meal from assorted meat to seafood to vegetables to interesting fish cakes. (Almost the whole necessary food groups.)

Miyeon would show them some tips and hacks when doing K-BBQ.

Grim

He was mistaken as a wild animal before entering the restaurant.

After the misunderstanding was cleared up, he’s going to gorge himself with so much food.

Also goes crazy with creating his own sauces but MC/Yuu has to stop him from creating a mess at the sauce bar.

He needs to take a bath because the smell got into his fur. (Smelly feline bastard.)

Finally finished the dossier template, few other things of note:

Pretty handy with a knife as well as the bow.

Can process seafood really quickly

Prefers to be at a REASONABLE height with the sky above her

If you want to know her exact birthday, you'll have to figure it out on your own or hassle her enough

Scars: a small cut on her chin, stab scar on her stomach (she fell out of a tree and impaled herself, okay), inside of her bicep, across the outside of her right wrist to her thumb, palm side of her left thumb

Tattoos: Ket tattoo on the inside of the wrist, floral sleeve on her left arm, anchor + rope + birds on one of her ankles

I kept rambling and found it hard to summarize the relationships so I've expanded under the cut. There are def rumors that she's dating or sleeping with at least half of them

Blade: they get along weirdly well. Recruits in particular are always surprised to find them casually walking together- they find her softer demeanor an odd juxtaposition to how Blade... is. Also! He is fun to tease. thinks how much she'd like to hear him whimper. It's a miracle they don't butt heads more often, considering her beef with authority. He hates when she gets together with Trouble and Chase b/c she joins them in being a group menace.

Romance: I could see it but Blade would have to make the first move and bridge that gap, as she's convinced herself she's not meant for a relationship. One of the biggest issues i would see them having is Blade's protectiveness would make her feel like she was being smothered and coddled at times.

Trouble: They get on like a house on fire. Her first friend in the order and i'm still deciding if they get arrested together or she pulls Trouble away. Very casual with physical affection and he's a personal space heater. Not a lot to say here b/c it's pretty straight forward!

Romance: Absolutely could see it happening but this would involve a third party kicking Trouble in the ass b/c he's dense as a brick. But it could very well fall apart b/c of her whole romantic relationship = bad, thing. She would realize 'i have feelings for him, but he doesn't have any idea yet' and probably distance herself which would cause confusion and hurt for Trouble, he might confide in someone and they just "she has feelings for you, dipshit"

Tallys: A little more complicated- Aelyn bounces and feeds off other ppl's personalities to interact so the cool, calm, detached thing is kind of weird sometimes b/c she's.... not that. It gets better as she eases out of survival mode. Tallys has given her a lot of tips when it comes to archery (flirting, unnecessary touching, ect included), they go on nature walks, and they do talk often.

Romance: Maybe. While they work as friends with benefits... idk if it would go beyond that. Speaking of: Tallys is absolutely the one to break that arrangement off b/c she's the first one to clock Aelyn being in deep for Chase (or just... between tallys and chase, idk how she has any energy). this is how i see it happening anyway, since aelyn is in denial and idk how willing tallys would be to be in the middle of... that. Of course, how these two fwb route interact can absolutely change things

Shery: She loves Shery. Like if she was more comfortable with casual affection Aelyn would give a hug and kiss on the head when they met up. Borderline cute aggression (I could see Aelyn getting drunk, holding onto Shery, saying "you're so adorable, what the fuck"). Shery does a good job of making her feel cared about w/o being coddled. Has loved helping her be a little more assertive

Romance: I think Shery would be too timid to kick things off and that's what Aelyn needs. I would see this being Shery falling and not saying anything.... forever. There's also the "and they were both bottoms" lol.

Riel: They get along but I wouldn't call them good friends? They respect each other but if they had no work related reason to see each other, both would be okay with that. Even if he was romanceable for a fem MC, it would not happen. Man won't even share his food.

Chase: This is hard b/c my brain kind of turns to static when I think about them. But they got on very quickly. Not as quickly as say, Trouble, but when she said 'We're square' she genuinely meant it. she got points right off the bat for tracking him down and busting into the guild solo and not really giving a shit that they're the thieves guild. He gets points for being so easy to get a long with and leading a life that would make him a huge hypocrite for judging her past choices.

Romance: He's her main romance so- It's such a fucking mess and i love mess. Fuck buddies who have caught feelings and are stupid about it b/c they don't want them. They've managed to worm past each others walls on accident and it's going to get worse before it gets better. At this point in the game, the thought of losing him or even turning down the dial on whatever they have going on is devastating, which scares her. Honestly, just how relationship avoidant I make her ultimately depends on how the torpedo + subsequent reconciliation happens.

Red: He caught her scoping the library and offered her a tour, gaining immediate friendship points. She's envious of his education but he's so open with his knowledge and resources she can't resent him. they talk about nerdy magic shit all the time and Blade is 🙄 when they start bouncing off each other.

Romance: Such a close runner up to Chase it's almost tragic. The biggest tipping point is that she met chase first. I think he would be patient enough to get past her walls and mature enough to just fucking... talk to her. There's obviously chemistry and something there that would make him pursue her. this would be overall healthier and wouldn't explode (as badly). she'd be terrified of meeting his family though.

Ayla: They're pretty protective of each other pretty quickly, they see the similarities they have and they get a long well. Aelyn makes an active effort to remind Ayla she has a place here and people she can trust. Teases her until she gets punched in the ribs.

Romance: No matter what I do I can't see them in a relationship. :| She's the only one out of the romacables (for fem MC) that I'm like hmmm no.

Halek: They get along very well and he seems to take her flirting in stride. I can see them cooking together (assuming Halek isn't one of those 'get out of my kitchen' people)- cooking and eating together is a significant bonding activity for her. She feels like Halek is a big judgment free zone so that's big friendship points for her.

Romance: Yes, if only to make a lifelong enemy of Moonsilk. I think they're compatible but I also don't know if I know his character well enough to say definitely. If he ever wants to 'hang out' she's down to clown.

Briony: Once she realized Briony was genuinely on the same side as her in the arena they were buds. She fascinated by Briony's sword and jokes that Red's blatant curiosity is rubbing off on her. Right there with Ayla with 'hey you want us to 'talk' to them 🤜' they like to walk around, arms linked, and GOSSIP

Romance: I- maybe? I could see it. Possibly. Though, apparently she and Lavinet's type is similar sooo maybe not. I don't think it would be.... great. My biggest fear is that Aelyn would actively sabotage this relationship and create a lasting wound for Briony (although tbh this is a fear for pretty much all the ROs)

Lavinet: They hold each other in high regard and their relationship is warmer then Aelyn and Riel's but but there's still a distance there. Lavinet operates very differently then she does and it throws Aelyn off. I'm not sure how true it is but Aelyn is pretty sure Lavinet would judge the shit out of her for some of the things she's done in the past. They bond over riding and girls nights though. Like Riel: even if romancable, it wouldn't happen.

Mimir: It's complicated. On one hand she does like Mimir as Mimir, loves how weird she can be. On the other, the whole god(s) thing? don't like that. She's resentful and tries real hard not to direct it at Mimir

oh my god you know. i forget to mention how much i enjoy seeing art of flynn but the expressions really count. obviously tender expressions or determined faces are good, gay even, the "heartthrob with the steely gaze" is very underrated.

i feel like i sometimes forget that flynn isnt constantly smiling and is instead sporting a severely intense expression. its only when hes in the party where he (though not instantaneously) starts smiling more and relaxes (though he could relax some more)

(i ramble on for a bit more with some in-game examples below + conclusion)

but you know? beyond these two options you need to know. there is a perfectionist grouch under all that worksona and even tenderness. honestly those bits only kind of emerge when he loosens up enough to banter with yuri in skits, and even then his skit faces dont go that extreme. obviously this is because flynn struggles relaxing even when in the party

example one, the skit where everyone discusses their least favorite places in the world, flynn gives a non-answer. when rita calls him out on it, he gets flustered about it

example two, in fact, he is obviously uncomfortable letting any personal gripes and discomforts known that it takes yuri to tell the party that flynn hates the food theyve been eating (cook enough seafood and youll get it :p )

there is even a (translated) anthology comic that plays with this all, where karol wants flynn to be less serious/tense around them all. its a struggle

if you would consider it, the first strike movie shows us a grouchier flynn, though, granted, hes younger, more foolish, and also going through many feelings

but where im going with it is that especially latch myself to drawn flynns that are at least a little dismayed or even grouchy over (mostly yuri's) shenanigans that he witnesses. i think there should be more of it. he isnt mister perfect he is a bastard and i like him (obviously also flynns that are ready to dismay others around him are good as well. but that wasnt exactly the point of the post)

The 🦈SirenSong!AU has been a fun and memorable passion project of mine, starting with watching ocean documentaries, reading different mermaid and siren MerMay stuff, and weird dreams where some characters are sirens or similar. This is certainly a comfort project, too. Sometimes it is nice to explore each different potential world and platonic yandere-ness of characters, especially ones that bring one so much joy and comfort. So here is the first imagine for the 🦈SirenSong!AU:

• You had moved here about two months ago. Your only parent-figure had passed away, leaving you alone... and there were many, many people alike who would love to get their hands on you. But, you had a plan. And with barely a day to mourn their death, you fled your old home and hid within a coastal city, tucking yourself away within an old, creaking apartment building.

• This city is quite a strange one. You never thought something so... bright... could be possible. But during the night, the entire coastal town was lit up from post to post, each building and street ablaze with soft yellow, bright blue, and burning white lights, as though someone poured bioluminescent algae over the entire place. This... didn't help your goal.

• You were a siren, something feared and hated by humans. You had escaped them once, years ago... but with your only protector gone, you decided to go somewhere that would make even the most seasoned scientist or trafficker steer clear... an entire coastal province run and controlled by sirens... Of course... you were also hiding your nature from the sirens as well.

• You couldn't remember much of your old life, the small time when you lived in the ocean, with another being like you... all you had were the vague impressions and a few scents that triggered a few deep emotions... but... if any other sirens met you now, surely they would despise you. You were caught, experimented on, and then were raised by a member if the species that brought your kind so much misery and suffering. And wouldn't they kill you, or do worse, than the humans? All you knew about your species was what the humans taught, and what they taught wasn't child-friendly...

• It wasn't easy choosing to live within the sirens' territory, but it would at the very least ward off any humans who had hurt you before... and you did have a small living here, despite your fears and anxiety... you happened to run odd errands for different people.

• Whether that be bringing secret messages to the other side of town, finding and bringing back small but expensive ingredients for The Reef Hotel's kitchens, even securing small fish and other sea creatures for the town's various aquariums and wildlife habitation facilities, these all happened to need a willing worker, and paid well enough. You also didn't ask questions, especially when the ones who employed your service seemed... off. Maybe that was the reason they all seemed to prefer you to do the small tasks.

• And you did try to enjoy the place, though you kept everything and everyone at a distance. Fresh seafood, salty sea air, various establishments about the history and creatures that were in the oceans and waterways...

• Yet... you were reaching adulthood. Humans were considered an adult by age 21, and you only had a few years left before then. It scared you a little... but what else can you do? If you went back to the sea, you wouldn't know the first thing to survival. If you tried to find help among sirens, who's to say they wouldn't rip you apart for being so different? And you couldn't reveal anything about yourself to any human, for they would lead you to your demise. No matter what, you would be alone.

• It was a sobering, despairing thought. Yet what was done was done. You were on your own, and you would have to stay like that, lest any of the beings around you discover what you were and harm you for it...

• So you go about preparing yourself, getting ready for the evening... tonight you have to help The Reef for something...

• And little did you know... tonight would change everything...

• The sirens were going to discover your secret... and they weren't about to let a pup back out into the wilds with no pod, no protector or caretakers to keep them safe...and it's odd, that this little pup thinks they're grown... they aren't even 2 decs old, and pups aren't considered an adult until 20 decs... what in the roiling fathoms happened to this little pup?

HELLO MELMË!!! Oooo this is such a fun ask ilysm and I love any excuse to be Incredibly Annoying abt the OrangeJuiceVerse so YEP HERE WE GO!!!

Kyle- Kyle SO has a sweet tooth!!! (I love that that’s a universal Kyle hc btw) that boy is THERE for any baked goods deadass even those shitty gas station packaged muffins (Stan is scribbling out the nutritional information (or as he calls it, Food Lore, well into their 30s)) and Kyle def consumes anything sugary. As for actual real food, he likes Italian a lot which works very well bc pasta is a general hit w everyone. Favorite fast food place is subway and he ALWAYS rearranges the sandwich components to make sure the distribution is right (he claims he doesn’t have obsessive compulsive tendencies) (he does) so this guy is THE reason the ojv is called the ojv, his favorite beverage is orange juice with seven ice cubes and a pinch of salt bc he’s picky even when he claims to not be, he’s also a red wine enjoyer

STAN!!! Oh my god he and Cartman and Kenny are bottomless pits!!! Stan is a big boi and he’s packing away everything he eats bc 1) he hates waste, and 2) he’s just hungry. BUT he’s really more of a savory guy. Veggie king, ofc, and he’s at every fast food place in town ordering any vegetarian option, ALSO!!! This man LOVES spicy food but his stomach doesn’t. He’ll get a couple crunchwraps sub refried beans and slather that shit in Diablo sauce, but there’s a pretty good chance he’s gonna be nauseous a few hours later. Also he loves Kyle’s cooking!!! Bc Ky likes to cook when he’s stressed and Stan likes Kyle, and Kyle makes this really kickass homemade bread (jalapeño cheese bread oh my god I really want some now) Stan is also SO bad at drinking water but he is in fact a soda enjoyer. Miller Lite and the cheapest vodka known to man (before he stopped drinking) are a staple, also he frequents the local smoothie king and gets a chocolate hulk. For most of their life style has been ordering an olive and pineapple pizza. Stan always dips it in extra marinara.

Tweek- he is seriously just a snacker. Like Girl Dinner has nothing on Tweek Dinner. His meals look like a Charlie Brown thanksgiving. If he even remembers food is a thing. But like Craig will come home and be like “what do u want for dinner” and Tweek’s like “oh I ate a whole jar of pickles” the amount of half eaten granola bars in that house smh. BUT he can decimate so much garlic bread. A very big lemonade fan.

Craig! He’ll eat whatever, nonchalant KING unless!!!! He’s having a bad day and is already on the cusp of a meltdown. If he’s overstimulated it’s a sprite and an uncrustable. A grape uncrustable. Also I just feel like he likes seafood? I cannot explain why, but he does. Also he’s really good about hydration, he likes routine and he has one of those bottles w the time markers lmao. And he’s weirdly pretentious abt craft beers like when he and Kyle take their lil excursions to their spot he’s drinking an ipa that’s lowkey gross but then he’s just shrugging at Kyle and being all “idk the citrus hits in the aftertaste” like an asshole.

KENNY ok Kenny is also not picky in the slightest, how could he be with how he grew up, but I feel like he’s especially fond of easy meals like casseroles, frozen pizza, that kind of stuff. When he starts actually making a stable living off his art he hits up ALL the local food trucks and small businesses and broadens his food knowledge, and he’s keeping the smaller struggling businesses going just by his support. He is another example of ojv losers not drinking enough water, thinks Mountain Dew counts, literally he would’ve developed scurvy in college if left to his own devices. SMH ily kenneth also he and Stan have both thrown up bc they tried to one up each other doing shots of hot sauce

Marj my queen! She, like Kyle, likes sugar, if the homies are going to a diner she’s getting pancakes, and she takes her coffee ALL dressed up. Also kenny is the grillmaster and Marj is making the BEST sides for the bbq!!! Omg she loves her some pasta salad and a lil shrimp shishkabab moment like put this girl on the cover of a southern living magazine with her sweet iced tea (she makes the best sweet tea) marj my goddess pls quit causing problems on the internet and just use ur hospitality degree to run a b&b and make the best biscuits and gravy ever

Cartman. Bruh. Eric Cartman. He has THE most expensive taste known to man when he’s older but until he gets into the Rich People scene he doesn’t really care about what he’s eating or if it’s of good quality. In college he dragged the m5 to some shitty steakhouse bc he heard it was a good deal, and also bc he was mad at Stan for belting As Long As You’re Mine from Wicked and he knew Stan wouldn’t have any food options there lmfao that asshole (he did have to put a dollar in the Fuckwad Jar). He will also eat the weirdest combination of things. Who is putting whipped cream and chocolate syrup on fried chicken? This man. He is a Diet Coke enjoyer lmfao also he drinks martinis with olives bc “it makes me look sexy and kewl” he doesn’t like olives btw he’s just an asshole

Infodumping/venting about the lack of Mashle fanfics on most fanfic platforms

WARNING: This isn't a vent. This is a mashle fanfic idea dumpster fire with MANGA SPOILERS.

I'm so heartbroken discovering that there is barely any mashle x oc content out there even x readers or character x character. I have so many tiny plot point ideas for a Rayne/Rain x fem oc/reader. Which resulted in me beginning to write my own oc, Darren Randel. Her name's stolen from my random ass mha oc Darren Halston. Darren Randel is lowkey different (she's less edgy/and emotionally unstable) even though they both have brown hair.

PLS TELL ME IF YOU'RE GONNA STEAL OR GET INSPO FROM THIS PLS BECUZ I WOULD LIKE TO HELP.

SO-

What was the original plot idea you may ask?

Infamous girl from rival school transfers to Easton Magic Academy because she fell in love with Rayne Ames lol.

Lowkey unoriginal right?

So then I added an extra spin to it borrowing a key romance drama plot point from See You in My 19th Life: Darren only gets 3 chances to confess and have her feelings be reciprocated by Rayne, and if he rejects her feelings. She'll give up (on that romance).

The ending of the fanfic is bittersweet: She doesn't get Rayne. But they stay close friends.

OH BUT HERE'S WHAT I'M TRYNA FIGURE OUT TO ADD MORE OF THAT BITTERSWEET FEEL TO IT:

1. Darren confused her initial crush on Rayne to be love at first sight/romantic feelings when she actually felt like she had a friend/that sense of trust in him compared to others.

1a. As a result of that she kind of decides to nullify all her chances of getting him.

2. It turns out that Rayne ALSO developed feelings for Darren over the course of the fic but he still rejects her advances due to either:

a. Her newfound realisation that she confused her feelings of attraction for something like companionship or trust. (1a)

b. His new position and role as Divine Visionary and the fear that she would be in more danger than she already was. (For context: her former school Walkis has so much beef with her existence for the 4 ish years she was there that they want her erased from existence and the Bureau of Magic is extremely alert about her whereabouts due to that and her skills which will be explained in the OC Profile section below).

c. Typical fears of a dude who for most of his life before Easton was seen as a nuisance alongside his younger brother Finn. (Big headcanon.) Doubt he cares/he probably would shove in the aristocrats face if he was dating her honestly (fake dating plot point???)

Her hair is orange brown with cornflower tips. The way she styles her hair hides one of her lines. The main line that is shown juts out just under her cheek from her forehead while the other one only juts out slightly from the side of her eye. She’s more of a sports person than a bookworm. When she manifests her third line, it appears across and under her eyes. She switches between 3 types of bottoms. Pants, Long skirt, shorter skirt of which she wears jogging leggings underneath but they’re all dark blue you know.

Skills/Abilities:

General Magic: Offensive Magic - Due to the competitive environment of Walkis, she has a general grasp on nearly all learnable offensive magic spells. Being able to cast them with ease compared to more typical and unlethal spells. Her speed at casting these spells were unmatched during her time in middle school.

Personal Magic: Impart - Darren’s magic essentially allows her to balance out either magical power, strength, and weaknesses between her targets (living and non living) or with herself. It’s essentially cheating at life. The magic is highly confusing due to the fact that she doesn’t have to chant the words to the magic and its essentially treated as a debuffing magic (which is wrong because she aims to fight everyone on fair terms).

Impart Zero - It dispels a spell.

Impart Seconth: Impartial Vice - Instead of deducting and balancing their power, like a water dam. Water is added to balance both sides.

Summon: Themis (Goddess of Justice) - When summoned, the user’s wand transforms into a dull sword whilst Themis appears with blindfold with a scale in hand

Themis Inclination - Themis appears and buffs her attacks’ range but she rarely utilises this due to how lackluster it was against Rayne (ineffective) and other people

Impart Thirds: Divine Mercy - It’s essentially renders its' target a painless death. It's an instant kill move.

Impart Thirds: Divine Tears - Unlike Divine Mercy, this one's pure torture. (To be developed later) (Tears of Themis reference?)

Wandless Casting: Her aptitude to cast magic without a wand has earned her infamy and wanted death since she enrolled into Walkis in middle school. It has also made her wanted by a few subdivisions of the Bureau of Magic, namely Magic Talent and Magic Research Administration.

Immense Speed: Exactly what running at 4am, and doing marathons before starting class does.

Immense Endurance: Due to the fact she does running as a hobby, her stamina/endurance in terms of speed/running is more than decent. She can withstand advanced offensive spells typically used by the police.

Equipment:

Basic Wand - She prefers to not wield a wand though finding it too rudimentary for her purposes, hence many assume she cannot unleash her secondth and thirds magic (to which she has). It stays in her cloak mostly.

Infinite Storage Fabric - Lining her uniform’s robe it has the ability to store anything it can consume within its’ own subspace. She stores majority of her items in it. Even though it’s mass doesn’t change due to how many things there are, it still is a heavy fabric. It will help fish out whatever the user who is currently wearing the cloak wants to have.

Resistance bands - She carries it around to do some exercise. Especially when she’s in the kitchen

Thick Rope - She carries this around as well but its to apprehend anyone she sees.

Photo album of Rayne Ames - She carries this with her at all times alongside a self printing camera. Don't worry, she gets permission to take the pictures.

Family/History:

The Randel Family while not aristocrats or anything, take pride in their magic aptitude which is a recent cut above the rest. Born as a two-liner magic user, she was put on a pedestal with unwanted attention, which is why she has a hime cut to hide her other mark. Her parents treat her like a trophy child and place their expectations on her.

She’s an only child but has an extensive selection of uncles and aunts 5 each. But she prefers her grandma over everyone else.

She had a tendency to break her wands while practising magic as a kid. Due to this her family/parents decided to just stop supplying wands (cuz it was costly) which resulted in her adapting the way she casted magic spells without the use of a wand. During her entrance exam into Walkis, she was ridiculed for not having a wand and got into trouble while getting the highest score of her batch in terms of magic.

I was tempted to add a Modern Magic/unmagic AU of this as well based on the anime endings which I find to be completely confusing even though they're fun. (SERIOUSLY, HOW IN THE WORLD DO RAYNE AND FINN HAVE FANCY OLD CARS THOSE ARE EXPENSIVE TO MAINTAIN WHEN THEY'RE CANONICALLY ORPHANS UNLESS DIVINE VISIONARY IN MODERN AU IS A SUPER RICH POSITION-)
