I lost one of my chickens :( she was caught and carried away by a fox... I’ve been growing complacent about my chickens’ safety I think because we’ve only had one other attack before, a goshawk that swooped in abruptly (unsuccessfully), but no fox sightings nearby so I’ve been assuming Pandolf was a great deterrent. Which he is, just not foolproof. I’ve talked to some people in town about this and they were pretty philosophical about foxes stealing chickens, like “it’s the tribute we pay to woodland animals, it’s just a few hens here and there.” I don’t begrudge the fox for being a fox, if anything I have a renewed respect for foxes because everyone I talked to proceeded to give me their best / worst fox stories, and most of them involved foxes outsmarting humans (learning people’s habits / timetables, opening latches, faking a limp...) Still I feel terrible for my hen, she was only three. RIP Cordy :( You’ll be remembered fondly... (except by the cats.) I feel bad for the other hen too, who just lost her pal!
When I said that last thing, one of my neighbours jumped on the opportunity to try and convince me again to accept a rooster from him. He had a rooster baby boom last summer and I’ve been telling him for months that I don’t need a rooster, I don’t want to raise chickens I just want eggs, and his new argument was that a rooster would protect my hen (or if it comes to that, would heroically sacrifice himself rather than let the hen be eaten—I’m sceptical...) I asked around for a young hen but there aren’t any to be had in this season, so my remaining one is going to be alone until the spring, and my neighbour said she’d get stressed and male company is better than no company. (I wish I could ask my hen what she wants! Maybe she’s penning A Coop Of One’s Own as we speak.) I said the rooster was more likely to stress her out and harass her and he said nah they’re free ranging all day, it’ll be fine, and he’s young so your adult hen will boss him around. I was like, but then will he be any good at protecting her? etc. etc. and after a while I caved in.
When I told her about this on the phone my mum sighed “you’re terrible at saying no”—excuse me, I said no so many times and the guy just kept ploughing on until he could foist a rooster upon me. I’m good at saying no, other people are terrible at hearing it! I reassured her that I had only agreed to take the rooster for a short probationary period, and if he bothers my hen too much I’ll drive him back to his native farm. My mum was like “Drive him back? look I’m sorry I raised you as a city kid but there’s no need to waste gas on driving a rooster around, I’ll have no qualms about wringing his neck for dinner if he’s more trouble than he’s worth.” The rooster’s fate is not sealed though, if he is anywhere from vaguely useful to not actively problematic I’ll keep him, so we’ll see...!

INTRO
“oh my god!” you squeal as the crew members release six fluffy, tiny golden retriever puppies to where you and toji sit. the puppies immediately run over to both of you, and begin licking all over you knees and hands.
“hey, little guy..” toji coos and gently lifts the dog in his hands, practically dwarfing the small animal in the size of them. “such a little squirt, huh?”
you on the other hand, now have three bundles of pale yellow fluff bundled up in your arms, cradling them like they’re your children. “oh my god, oh my god. they’re all coming home with me, i’ll make it happen somehow.”
IF YOU WERE AN ANIMAL, WHAT ANIMAL WOULD YOU BE?
“easy.” toji begins, smirking. “i’d be a wolf. i-”
in the midst of rubbing the belly of one of the puppies, you snort harshly at his answer, pulling you lips together.
toji drops the smirk and looks at you while he rocks two puppies in crook of his big arms. “what’s funny?”
“toji…you? a wolf? i don’t think so..”
toji scoffs. “what’d you think i’d be then?”
“hmm.. i think.. i think you’d be a chipmunk.”
“chipmunk?!” toji exclaims. “no way!”
you hold one of the puppies up to your face, speaking in a baby voice. “toji would be a chipmunk, wouldn’t he? yes he would! yes he would!”
“i would- you know what you would be?” he starts and you know he’s probably going to say something crazy. “you’d be a pterodactyl.”
“a what!” you cackle, dropping your head onto the floor and laying on your stomach. some of the puppies start climbing on your back. “what the hell would i be a dinosaur?”
he puts one of the puppies on the ground and it rests on his shoe. “pterodactyls ain’t dinosaur actually-”
“ok, toji the palaeontologist, why the hell would be a pterodactyl?”
toji shrug, nuzzling the puppy in his arm. “y’know.. they’re loud..and they got big mouths.”
you gasp. “that is-” you puff your cheeks and start throwing the squeaky toys at him aggressively.
“hey! stop!”
IF YOU COULD ACT WITH ANY ACTOR, WHO WOULD IT BE?
“oh, definitely mikasa ackerman.” you answer. “she’s so talented and sweet.” you bounce the puppy in your arms, one who seems to especially love you and toji. “she’s so sweet! yes she is!”
“yeah i’ve heard good things about her..” toji said. “‘think my choice would be..nanami kento. he’s done good work..seems respectable.”
“wow, really? you’d both hate each other.”
“_____, why are you so negative?” toji asks, faking seriousness. “we would get along. don’t be jealous.”
“jealous?!”
“yeah, jealous,” toji picks up the smallest puppy and it to his chest, stroking its head, “ain’t that right? she’s jealous, right?” he shakes his head at you while shaking the head of the puppy with his hand. “she’s so- oh, that one’s taking a shit on the floor.”
you turn and there it was, a tiny puppy, in toji’s words, taking a shit.
“ew.. i forgot they just did that…”
when the puppy finishes it’s…business, the other puppies run over and start sniffing it.
“oh fuck, they’re about to eat his fucking shit.” toji wheezes, shoulders bouncing m. “their faces just make you forget how fucking disgusting they are..”
“eugh, they’re so nastyy.” you cringe at them, cooing at the puppy in your lap. “but you’re not like they are you?”
WOULD YOU ADOPT A PUPPY TOGETHER?
“yes! yes we would!” you rest the female puppy in your arms. “wouldn’t we, toji?”
toji looks at you, admiring how adorable you look with the adorable, little puppy in your arms. he looks back to the puppies in his arms and lap. “‘couldn’t hurt..”
you shout happily. “toji, we’re taking this one home.” you lift the puppy in your hands to the sky like she’s simba. you look off camera. “can we take this one home? please?”
at the end of the video, you’re hugging toji along with the other puppies. “you’re all coming home with me!”
toji looks to the camera for help
(and that’s how you both end up with 6 golden retriever puppies for pets :))

● TWENTY FIVE ● WEREWOLF ● CIS FEMALE ● NURSE ●
"And I've been a fool and I've been blind I can never leave the past behind."
Qhuinn was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Odessa and James Fontenot. She was the youngest of two girls, her sister Meghan having been born two short years before. Qhuinn and her sister had a very happy, normal childhood. Or as normal as living in an antebellum home be. The girls were tomboys, each had their own horse that they would ride to the neighboring homes, and spent their days riding and climbing trees. Qhuinn was a happy girl, bright, kind, and unusually beautiful. But she always felt a little out of step with her deeply, almost fanatically, religious parents. Yet all she needed was her sister and her horse Absinthe to be happy. But all good things must come to an end. Qhuinn’s world crashed down around her when she was fifteen, and her beloved sister and best friend died at seventeen of leukemia. Qhuinn was lost. Her sister was her anchor, her compass, and she didn’t know which way to turn now. Her parents, on the other hand, turned even more to their church, leaving the grieving, confused teen to her own devices. Feeling like she had no one else to turn to, Qhuinn fell in with the ‘bad crowd’ at school and started to rebel. Drinking, smoking, drugs..you name it, Qhuinn was willing to try it. In time though, with the help of her grandmother who lived with them, Qhuinn was thankfully able to pull herself out of her tailspin.
She knew Meghan would have been be horrified at her behavior, and tried her hardest, for her late sister’s sake, to get her act together. She ended up graduating with honors, and much to her parent’s delight, enrolled in the nursing program at Tulane University. All seemed well in Qhuinn’s world for a good few years after that. But, once again, fate had other plans for her.
Qhuinn adjusted easily to college life. She liked the busy pace of classes and her work at the local clinic, and the sense of having a purpose. She was quick to make friends, and though she did still smoke, she no longer did drugs. She had a good group of close friends, and one of the things they did was go out for drinks every Friday night. It was their opportunity to catch up and fill each other in on the events of their week. It was during one of these normal nights that Qhuinn noticed a man staring at her most of the night. He was the quintessential tall, dark, and handsome, with a mysterious air that intrigued her. Not one to be shy, Qhuinn didn’t need much liquid courage in her before she approached the man. After more drinks and some heavy flirting, the deal was sealed and they headed outside to have sex. Her friends noticed her leave, but didn’t think much of it when she never returned. It wasn’t unusual for the beautiful girl to get caught up in a one-night stand. But this one would change her life. Drunk and out of control, the man was rough, almost brutal, and the sex that started off as consensual didn’t stay that way for long. Luckily, the petite but resourceful nurse was able to knock her attacker out with a discarded wine bottle, escaping before she was seriously injured. Or so she thought..
Qhuinn knew she should have called her friends for a ride, but was humiliated, exhausted, and just wanted to go home. She took a shortcut through a small park, and was almost to her nearby apartment when a dog came out of nowhere and attacked her. Only, it was no ordinary dog. Unknown to Qhuinn, the man that she’d knocked out was a werewolf, and he was back for revenge. Her last conscious thought, as she lay wounded on the ground, was how beautiful the full moon was.. Luckily, her attacker was chased off and she was sniffed out and found by another, kinder werewolf, who tended to her wounds and in the morning, told her what she now was. Stunned and lost, Qhuinn went back to the one place that she hoped she could find the love and help she needed: home. But she wasn’t so lucky. Her parents took one look at their altered daughter and became certain that the devil himself was now in Qhiunn, and that her wicked ways had caused this. They told her never to return to their home again.
Lost and alone, Qhuinn scraped together her meager savings and fled the country. She made it all the way to Ireland, and lived there actually quite happily for about three months. But then came more devastating and life-changing news: her parents had been killed in a car accident. Stunned, Qhuinn returned home to settle her family’s estate. She stayed in her old childhood home for several weeks, unsure of where to turn to next, when she suddenly remembered a town she had passed through countless times in her life. Saintes. Which was now..a safe haven for supernaturals. Like herself. It seemed like the perfect place where she could go and try to live her life as best as she could now, and maybe, hopefully, learn more about what she was.
Qhuinn Fontenot is played by Lecia, 30+, She/Her, Central

Draft (unfinished)(for now)
Servant goes out to find some more supplies. He makes a friend on the way.
There wasn't anything specific he needed, but anything would be appreciated. They were low on bandages (curtsey of his luck and Kamukura's stubborn persistence to treat all his wounds), not to mention food was always low. So, he could go for anything eatable at the moment.
He had sent himself out to try and find anything useful. Most of the buildings were already ransacked or destroyed, but his luck had a way with helping him.
Of course, his luck struck again. There was a bloodied, discarded bag near a burnt building's alley. He didn't question why it was there. It was either deadweight or something happened to the previous owner. Neither was his concern.
Komaeda began rifling through the bag, finding some bottled drinks and canned goods. There was also bandaids, which wouldn't help with larger wounds, but was still certainly useful.
He smiled to himself.
Lady Luck truly came through for him.
He decided just to bring the bag itself than carrying its goods back to their single-night camp. Swinging the bag over his shoulder, he turned to go. To show Kamukura what he had found. Oh, how lovely it would be if he thanked him. Told him he had done good in finding supplies. He nearly collapsed from the thought alone.
However, the sound of steps caught his attention.
Keeping his good hand on the gun hidden in his coat, he turned to see whoever it was.
It was a dog.
The hound was missing a front leg (it's right one from the looks of it) and had healing scratches all over it's form. It's left ear was ripped up, but mostly looked healed; both ears carried a little flop to them. It's messy fur's pattern was simple, cinnamon on top with a white under. Similar to a akita or shiba inu, although notably didn't look to much like either. It was shorter than an akita but certainly taller than the other breed, and it's tail wasn't as tightly curled (stood up, curled at the end but didn't rest.) Must be a mix or a mutt, he supposed.
Unfortunately, the most gripping feature, besides the missing limb, was it's protruding ribs. It was obviously starving. He wasn't surprised given what was happening, what had been happening for over a year now. Still...
Komaeda blinked at the poor animal, who just continued to stare at him. It's head tilted to side a little. He became increasingly aware of the fact he had food on him.
Komaeda let go of his hold on the gun, slid the bag off his shoulder, crouched to his knee and placed it down. The dog flinched back at the sound of the bag hitting the ground, but quickly regained composure. It sniffed the air, its curious eyes carefully trained on the bag.
He rummaged through the bag. Most of the cans were fruit, and even though the dog was seriously hungry, he knew better than to give sweeted goods to the thing. He found a thing of shredded fish, tuna to be precise.
Luckily, it had a tab similar to soda, so he wouldn't have to break the top open with his pocket knife. He opened up the can, tilting it towards the dog.
"Here, you can have it," he said. He kept his voice steady and low. He didn't want to frighten it after all.
The dogs head perked up the moment it got a whiff, and it slowly started to make its way to Komaeda. Once in front of him, it took one more sniff of the fish before licking at it.
It took a fast bite of the food, hardly chewing the tuna. It was fast to get it's snout in the can to devour it's meal. Komaeda noticed it struggling to get it out, so he pulled the can back. The dog quickly moved to get back at it, but he shushed it. "It's okay, I'm giving it back."
He dumped the remaining fish on the ground. The dog immediately went back to eating, a small chuckle escaping Komaeda as he watched it chow down. It didn't take long for it to finish.
The dog looked up at him, its tail wagging ever so slightly. Komaeda smiled at it before standing back up.
"Well, I should be going." The dog tilted its head at him.
Komaeda turned away, beginning his walk back to Kamukura. He stopped whenever he heard the pads of paws following.
He turned his head to the pooch, who's tail started wagging again at his attention.
"Oh, you can't follow me. I have to get back to Kamukura-kun."
The dog just took a step closer.
He knew he shouldn't. It was hard enough to have two mouths to feed, adding a third would be daft. Yet, looking at the creature, he found it hard to fight against the urge to help it.
Surely, Kamukura wouldn't mind to much.
He brought the dog with him.
Komaeda didn't know what to call it, or if he should call it anything. It looked full grown, surely it wouldn't respond to a new name. He could guess one, his luck would probably help him nail it on the head. But naming usually caused attachment. At least, that's what he's been told.
He'd hold off on any name for now.

Ok... I need to get this out of my head or ill go crazy. Bear with me...
Arceus Isekai's the reader (and the pkmnteam + Iphone 100) to helsalems lot. Just cause.
And welp new member to the libra family...( Klausie bless you'r heart... ) Mostly interaccions with the members (if I have to choose a few ; Klaus, Steven and Zed )
P. S.
(I'll leave my current pkmn team if you wanna use it. Its the one from galar : Cinderance (Blaze), Noivern(jirou), corvnigth(Tokoyami), urshifu the fight /water tipe (Klaus... I mean... ), Toxcicitry (Venom) And Zacian (Slash).)
You can go wild with this one.
P. S. 2. Im sorry this has been WAY too long in my head. And it got even worse after seeing Fan art of Emmet using Steven's esmeralda blood freeze tecnique...
okay so this got a little long, plus I love the whole concept so I miiight make this a miniseries >:3c I kept Noivern but brought it down to three pokemon just to make it easier for me to keep track of.
Your head was pounding. You had been walking through a forest, next thing you know, you’re falling. Noivern had managed to keep you from slamming too hard to the ground, but you’d been knocked out. Houndoom’s pokeball fell, releasing the canine pokemon. She blinked, sniffing the air. Then noticed you, unconscious, on the ground. Noivern sat on your other side. She immediately growled at the man walking closer.
Someone dropping out of the sky. Of course that would happen in this city. And of course Libra got called to deal with it, but none of them could really expect the creatures guarding the person. The black horned… Dog? Was that a dog? And the… hell, that could only be described as a dragon.
Cutaway - Steven
“Seriously? Dragon? A dragon! Did Zapp spike my coffee?!”
Leo froze, staring at the person. At the creatures guarding them. How the dog growled and breathed fire at the police suit that came close. But not hitting, just a threat. He blinked.
Cutaway - Zapp
“Dude what the fuck that looked like Seventh Hell. What, can animals use- WAIT HOLD ON THAT WAS A FUCKING HOUNDOOM-”
Lieutenant Law shouted at Klaus and Steven when they arrived. Yelling something about the person, at them to fix it. Detain the beasts.
“Um-” They looked at Leo. “Those are pokemon.”
The person woke up at that moment, sitting up. All eyes on them, watching as the beasts turned to nuzzle them. Pet the hound’s nose. Pull out two spheres, both turning to… red? And vanishing inside. They only then seemed to notice that they were surrounded.
“Hi?” They pushed themselves to stand up.
Cutaway - Leo
“On the one hand, I’m super excited to see pokemon. I love pokemon! But also… I’m just confused.”
Cutaway - Zed
“I’ve heard of pokemon. I don’t know much, but… It’s probably good it was just the dog attacking. From what Leo has told me, that dragon could have done serious damage.”
You were taken to Bradbury, where three of that group had followed. They talked between themselves. You couldn’t help wondering about what. Hm, now that you thought about it, Froslass would be worrying. You’d have to let her see that you were okay soon.
The check was quick, all things considered. The four of you sat outside, your pokemon sniffing around the grass. Froslass came up closer to you, the chill of her presence making the hair on your arms stand up a bit.
Cutaway - Steven
“So these creatures, the pokemon? I don’t know much about them, I’ve seen one use fire and now this one is really cold. I’m guessing it has ice. No idea about the dragon. Fuck, these things could pose a real threat to HSL.”
Cutaway - Zed
“I did some reading while doctor Estevez was checking on [Name]. We’re looking at three pretty powerful creatures. But they listen to them. I’m guessing either they have more we haven’t seen, or for some reason only had three on their person…”
Cutaway - Klaus
“I’m mostly glad they’re uninjured, apart from a bump from the fall. I suppose the one that can fly caught them? Either way… Zed has mentioned reading. The creatures are powerful, undoubtedly dangerous if commanded to hurt people.”
Noivern pulled your attention from the quiet conversation you’d been having with the tallest one- Klaus. His neck fur stood on end, wings flared. About to use Hurricane.
“NOIVERN.” He quickly turned back to you. “No! Do not attack anything! We’re not battling!”
Like a petulant child, he rolled his eyes. Shrugged a wing and lowered back to the ground.
The three men blinked at you.
Cutaway - Steven
“Okay, so we discussed them joining Libra. At least until we figure out how to get them back to… Wherever. But… Damn. Commanding a dragon like that?”
You had accepted joining their group. It would at least help you get home. And… Hey, it would give Noivern and Houndoom something to fight. You knew those two were always itching to battle. Froslass could contain herself at least.
Things would go well, you were sure. Even though Noivern took over the balcony and dropped Zapp over the edge several times during the first week.

thinking very normal thoughts
Animals could be invaluable to therapy. Zacharie had a peculiarly aggressive reaction to dogs though. Some of it made sense, like how the loud licking seemed to irritate already sore sensory issues. Other parts though seemed entirely irrational (or at the least, there was no logical way to explain it in a way that didn't tie back to an aversion to dogs in general.)
So next was cats. Therapy cats were less common, but they could be support animals as well. Strange essentially arranged a test meeting, the cat's trainer waiting outside the office during. Kronos and Zacharie hadn't been fully separated into different personas. It wasn't entirely safe, and he didn't want to ruin what might otherwise be a positive experience. After all, if it went well: they got a cat.
It was hard to tell at first if it was more Zacharie or more Kronos, but the rigid posture told him that it was more likely Kronos. That made enough sense--the person he would turn into Zacharie was a complete fabrication. Kronos was a more suitable default.
It was a bombay. Beautiful, black fur that shined in the light. Kronos was more stiff than usual, which was saying something, because it seemed like even trances couldn't force faer to fully untense. Fae had faers knees drawn up to faers chest, hands gripping the tops of them. Kronos watched the cat walk around the ground, tail up and friendly.
A trained support animal it was, the cat was very keen to faers distress. It meowed up at faer the way kittens usually meow to their mothers. Kronos flinched away as it tried to reach up and mark against faers foot--basically the only thing easily in reach of it.
"I would've expected a more positive response," was how Strange broke the silence.
Kronos evidently wasn't listening very hard. "I guess."
It meowed again. Though Kronos was glued to the chair, Strange wasn't behind the desk. He was beside the chair, debating how to go about this.
In the end, he reached for Kronos' wrist. Fae didn't resist much, but he did have to put forth effort to guiding faer to hold faers hand out within reach of the cat. "Let's give this a real try, hmm?"
"What if I hurt it?" Kronos blurt it out so suddenly that Strange wasn't actually prepared with an immediate answer.
"Why would you?"
It was marking against faers hand, but that was shaking. Perhaps this all struck an expected nerve, but he was learning too much to back out now. "Stuff pisses you off, you don't think... My first reaction to that kind of thing is violence."
"And it's made you oddly afraid." At least now he had the full picture.
"Yeah." Kronos must have trusted him a good deal to have even let him in on any of this. "Because what if it shits outside its litter one day, or it just keeps doing something. What if I don't think?"
"From what you've told me, you're rather fond of cats. So fond of them, you couldn't even cut open a dead one in a zoology class."
Kronos quirked a brow, focusing more on him than the cat (who at this point was licking at faers loose fingers.) "You seriously remembered that?"
Strange chuckled. "You think I don't listen?"
"No, well..."
"I think even if you began, you wouldn't commit to it."
Kronos looked back at the cat. Finally, faers feet touched the floor. It didn't ask permission--the perfect thing just jumped up onto faer. Its paws ended up on faers chest, stretched out across faer to get to faers face. Kronos did wince a little as it sniffed around faers nose, seemingly holding faers breath.
"You may get the urge," he went on, "but isn't that what we're striving to alleviate? Separating you from all the tamer parts of yourself?"
It started to lick faers nose. That tickled. Despite that--"explain."
"If you truly were going to do something that awful, then all I would need to do is say the word. You'd swap places with a neurotic, but ideal patient again. Someone who could never even dream of what you were thinking about moments ago."
"If you aren't there?"
"Paranoid?"
"A little."
The cat was purring--a loving sound from its chest, rumbling with all the love in the world. Strange was considering how to answer, but then Kronos spoke first. "Or... No."
Fae scratched the cat behind the ear some, tears welling up in the corners of faers eyes. He hadn't anticipated this being such an overwhelming event for faer, but it still seemed to be going rather well... Kronos tried to place a kiss on its head, but instead the cat just followed the movement to keep licking faers face. Each time its mouth opened came that sound of rapid breathing--the mechanism behind the purr.
"No, I'll be fine."
Because fae had hurt a lot of things, on purpose or in act of passion...
But fae had never hurt a cat.
Perhaps Strange ought to start likening himself to one in faers eyes.

Wanda x Natasha x Reader
Reader is little, part of Loving a little series
Summary: Reader is on a mission. What happens when she gets hurt???
Notes: Hiiii guys, don’t forget to leave a comment :)
You were on a mission. Since you’ve got your new powers you’ve been going on missions more often. You are on a mission with Natasha and Wanda, although you were the only one who was out on the field. There was no one in the base and all you needed was to get some information. You are running through the woods towards the Hydra base.
Your lungs burn and your legs ache, but you keep running. The training didn’t seem to be helping you run for longer. You wish you had powers like Wanda. If you had powers like Wanda then you could just fly. Wait. You have fire powers, and possibly more. Suddenly you stop running to find yourself floating. Just like Wanda. What the?
“Guys, Wanda!!”
“What?!? What’s wrong, did you get hurt??”
“I’m floating, like you when you use your powers, but the magic isn’t red, it’s green. It looks like your guy’s eyes,” You say with adoration. Wanda and Natasha smile at each other at how cute you are.
“What did you do?” Natasha asks.
“Well I was thinking of how I wish I had powers like Wanda so I could fly to the Hydra base instead of running.” You say through your coms.
“And the next thing I know, I’m floating!” You exclaim.
“That’s great baby, you'll have to show me when we get home,” Wanda says.
“Now you can teach me!!” You squeal happily.
“Yes baby, now I can teach you. But you have to finish the mission first,” Wanda says.
“Oh right,” You say.
“Hey, so now how do I get down?” You ask, still just hovering above the ground.
“I don’t really know, maybe just think of the ground?” Natasha says after a while. You stare at the ground. Nothing happens so you close your eyes and let the overwhelming thought of the ground fill your mind. One moment you are floating ten feet above the ground and the next you are free falling down towards the ground.
When you hit the ground your right ankle takes the brunt of the fall, you land on it awkwardly and scream out in pain. Tear prick in your eyes and little you wants to come out so bad. But you fight it, you have to finish the mission first. You slowly pick yourself up putting all the weight on your left foot. You think that it’s not that bad, you just feel a lot of throbbing pain in your right ankle, nothing a good walk wouldn’t fix. You take a deep breath and take a step with your right foot, and you groan out in agony when you shift your weight.
“Jesus, Mary and Joseph!” You say taking a shuddering breath.
“Are you back on the ground?” Wanda says through coms.
“Uh y-yeah, I’m back on the groun-ah,” You say as you take another step.
“Baby? What happened?” Natasha says worried over the coms.
“Nothing I-I just fell on my ankle weird, I’m fi-ah-ne,” You say sniffing as you take another step. You don’t hear anything back on the other end, believing that you convinced them that you were fine. You take step after step, breathing heavily as tears fall from your eyes every step. You hear something behind you and you set yourself aflame.
“Hey, it’s just me baby,” Wanda says to you, as you turn around unlighting yourself.
“What are you doing?”
“Checking up on you, come on you need to go back to the jet.” She says walking towards you.
“No, I'm fine, I've got to finish the mission,” You say as you start walking again. You groan out in pain every time you shift your weight to your right foot. Wanda watches you for a little while, but it breaks her heart to see you in pain.
“Y/N stop,”
“No, gotta fin-ah-ish t-the mission,” you say, taking another step.
“Please don’t make me do this,” Wanda says, as you keep walking.
“Do what?” Taking another step. You stop and look back at her, she walks towards you, her eyes glinting a red.
“Wanda, don’t do it,” You warn her.
“Hey, look there’s Tasha,” You say pointing behind her. She looks behind her to find nothing. You hobble away as fast as you can letting out sounds of pain. You didn’t make it very far before you are swept up by Wanda and flying through the air. Surrounded by her arms, you relax and grumble about not being able to finish the mission. Eventually you rest your head in the crook of the neck and kiss her.
“Thank you,” You say to her.
“You’re welcome baby,” She says back. When you get back to the jet Natasha is already waiting for you. Wanda sets you down and you take off your shoes sitting down next to you and holding your hand. Careful, not to touch your purple swollen ankle. Natasha carefully grabbed your right foot.
“Ahhh, Tasha,” You hiss out in pain and squeeze Wanda’s hand. She gives you a sympathetic look and grabs some pain pills, you take them.
“You’re gonna have you get that checked by Bruce baby, it might be broken.” Natasha says. You whine, if it’s broken then you won’t be able to do anything. At least not with Wanda and Natasha being mother hens.
“No it’s fine, I promise.” You lie to them.
“Oh yeah? Stand up and put all your weight on your right foot.” Natasha says back. You look up at her.
“Baby, we don’t like seeing you hurt, we just want to make sure you’re okay,” Wanda says squeezing your hand.
“I know,” You say back, setting your head on her shoulder. Wanda strokes your hair while Natasha pilots the plane. You move so you're laying down, head in Wanda’s lap. You eventually fall asleep when the pain medicine pills kick in holding Wanda’s hand still.
When you wake up it’s to someone carrying you. You snuggle in closer to the person holding you.
“Hi baby, how are you feeling?” Wanda asks as she feels you move against her.
“Mmmm good,” You say sleepy.
“I see the pain pills are working,” Wanda says.
“Mhmm, stop talking lemme sleep,” You say to her.
“Baby you have to get checked by Bruce first,” Wanda says to you. You whine and snuggle further into Wanda.
“You have until we get there, then I’m gonna have to put you down baby,” Wanda says, that means you have at least 3 more minutes, depending on how long the elevator will take. In reality it only takes 30 seconds.
“We’re here baby,” Wanda says as she tries to set you down. You wrap your arms around her tightly and wrap your legs around her too. Going into full koala mode.
“Baby, don’t make me do it,” Wanda says.
“Do what?” Suddenly feel Wand’s hands at you sides.
“Wand’s don’t you dare.” You say looking at her seriously.
“Then get down and get your ankle checked.” Wanda says as her fingers move a little.
“Fine,” You say with a whine, untangling your arms and legs from her, hitting your ankle on her leg.
“Ahhh,” You gasp out in pain.
“Hello Y/N, I see that your ankle is a bit swollen and a nice shade of purple.” Bruce says with a smile.
“Is Natasha coming, or can I start.” Bruce asks.
“No she’s bringing everything to our room, she said she’d meet us after,” Wanda says. Bruce checks your ankle and deems it’s broken after an x-ray. He says you’ll need a shot that will heal it instantly. Tony and him just made it and need a test subject other than a bunny, so what better test subject than you?
“Can I go get Bunny and the love blanket please?” You ask Wanda with big puppy dog eyes.
“Yes baby, let’s go.”
“Wait, I can get it myself, please I promise ill be careful, I'll even fly if it makes you feel better,” You say to Wanda with pleading eyes.
“Okay fine, but no flying, that’s how you got this broken ankle anyways. I’m only letting you do this because I have to talk to Bruce about your new power.”
“Okay no flying, promise,” You swear on your life. You walk out the room and make your way to your room. You walk up the stairs and quickly look around. You don’t see anybody around so you quickly get into the vents. Clint had taught you how to get around in the vents whenever there was an emergency. And this is an emergency. You hate shots with every fiber in your body. Absolutely hate them. So you’re hiding out in the vents for as long as it takes for your ankle to heal.
Wanda was getting worried, your room isn’t far away and you have been gone for ten minutes.
“Hey Bruce, I’ll be back. I'm going to check where Y/N is.” Wanda says while she walks out. She makes her way up to your room. When she enters she finds Natasha sitting on the bed.
“Hey, where’s Y/N?” Natasha asks.
“Wait? Did she not come here?”
“No why would she come here?”
“She said that she wanted to get Bunny and the love blanket before her shot.”
“Ohhh! She’s probably hiding, you know she doesn’t like shots.” Natasha says holding Wanda’s hand.
“Great, now we have to look for her.” Wanda says with a groan.
“I have an idea where she is,” Natasha says.
“Clint told me he showed Y/N the vents in case of an emergency.”
“He what?!? Why would he do that, doesn’t he know that she’s a three year old little, she could get lost in there,” Wanda says with her head in her hands.
“Hey, baby it’s okay. We'll find her and set some rules for her, okay? Everything will be fine,” Natasha says hugging Wanda. Wanda and Natasha get up and go downstairs. You can hear them walking down.
“Y/N? Hey I know you’re scared but I need you to come out now,” Natasha says out loud not really knowing which vent you are in.
“Wait let me try,” Wanda says to Natasha.
“Baby girl? I need you to come out from wherever you are okay baby girl? Mama needs you to come out.” Wanda says.
“Mama!” You say happily, coming out and waddling twordas her. You make grabby hands at her and she smiles and picks you up. You rest your head on her shoulder.
“Mama, hurts,” You say.
“I know baby girl, you are gonna have to get a shot and it will make it all better” Wanda says.
“Nooo,” You whine and try to get out of Wanda’s arms.
“Yes baby girl, you have to get it,” Natasha says. Wanda and Natasha walk you all the way back to the medbay where Bruce is already waiting with the shot.
You start to cry as she sets you down and Bruce takes your ankle gently.
“You’re gonna feel a little pinch and then it will be over, okay Y/N?” Bruce asks. It really didn’t hurt that bad but you still balled your eyes out, the pain in your ankle instantly went away.
“Do you want Mama to carry you back to the room baby girl?” She asks. You shake your head no because you’re mad at both of them for making you get the shot. You rub your arm across your face angrily and get off the bed you were on. You walk with a pout and anger on your face back to your room. Wanda and Natasha follow behind you.
When you get back to your room Natasha had made your favorite and it is waiting on the table next to your bed for you. You get up on the bed and look straight ahead with your pout.
“Do you want something to eat baby?” Natasha asks. You make a noise of no.
“Are you sure baby girl, I made your favorite,” Natasha says, a little hurt that you don’t want the food she made special for you.
“No!” You say loudly.
“Do you want Bunny?” Wanda asks you.
“No!” You say again. Wanda and Natasha look at each other.
“Okay, well we have to go baby, we’ll be back in a bit okay?” Wanda says. You don’t look at them even as they get up and leave. When they shut the door you stare at it. You wait for them to come back, but they don't, so the door stays closed. You wait and wait, until all the anger goes away along with your pout. You look over at the food Natasha made you. Now all you want is Mama and Mommy. You get up from the bed and open the door.
“Mama, Mommy?” You say looking to the left.
“Yes baby girl?” Natasha says startling you. You jump a little but when you see them smile at you, you run into their arms.
“M’sorry,” You say while hugging them.
“It’s okay baby girl, do you want to eat now?” Natasha asks. You shake your head pulling them back into the room.
After you eat you snuggle up with Wanda and Natasha in bed, Bunny in your arms and the love blanket wrapped around all three of you.
“We love you baby girl.” Wanda says as she sees you start to drift off.
“Mmm love you too,” You say sleepily. They watch as you fall asleep in their arms, and slowly drift off with you.

Could I please get option 2! Angst and fluff?
The reader and Eren had been dating for years, everyone thought they were end game, until he went all you know season 4 Eren so she left him. He’s still in love with her so when he comes back he tries to get back with her, he also tries to kiss her and Jean sees and he like “hell no” and pushes Eren away because the reader and Jean are now happily together?
I hope that makes sense ☺️
A/N; ooo I like this idea! I changed it just  bit to make it a little more dramatic, hope that’s okay!
Warnings; Slight toxic relationship; mentions of hooking up/no detail; some language; possible spoilers for season 4 if you have no watched it yet; Angst; some fluff.
Please enjoy~🍰

“Do you really think the future will be different for us?“ you asked Eren as you walked along the dirt road hand in hand. Pulling your hand towards him so you walked in his arms he answers
“As long as I’m here,“ he stopped and turned to you “we’ll have the future you always dreamed of“ he kissed your forehead gently
“The one with a house, a dog and 2 kids?“ you giggle looking into his deep green eyes. It was true you wanted that future with Eren, one where you were finally happy together. After everything was over
“That and more“ just as he was about to lean in to kiss you Jean passed by
“There they go again. All lovey dovey“
“Hey at least I got someone!“ Eren retorted back making you all laugh. Before taking off Eren pulled you into a quick but love filled kiss. You hear them making sick sounds from your display of affection. Maybe everyone was right...maybe he was the hope for the future...
However, that was 4 years ago. When things still seemed to have hope, now you were at a base waiting for the return of the scouts as a medic in the same scenario you never wanted to see. 4 years later you were back to war, and chaos. What was worse was Eren, he was just so distant and cold now, he wasn’t the same. Even your relationship was strained. He was never abusive or anything but he wasn’t the same boy you had fallen for.
You were the only person who knew about him siding with Zeke. Whatever happened to finding peace? Ending the war? Living your happy future? He had the told you it wouldn’t happen since his life was now limited. He even thought of giving you his titan once he passed. It was just all too much for you, which lead to you leaving him about 2 years ago.
It broke your heart but for the sake of your mind and heart, this was better. Sleeping alone was something new, and something you didn’t like at all. He wanted you to stay though, he still loved you. There were even a few occasions where you’d still visit him and even slept over. You had stopped when the mission had started to go into process. And slowly and painfully, you felt that old love for him die along with your old self.
Now marking 4 years you were someone different, and everyone had noticed it. Some of them even became a bit protective of you knowing how Eren had changed. Levi gave you different assignments, you were moved to the infirmary, and Jean was even in the picture now. When you ha first broken up he found you crying alone. Instead of hiding it you had only busted into more tears.
He was there for you more than anyone, he even told you to get better you had to stop seeing him. Long story short you had gotten very close, and he eventually made his move. You gave him a chance and things went better than you anticipated. He treated you well, he was respectful and very loving. He was honestly very cute with how flustered he would become with you. No one else knew about you both except for Connie and Sasha. You couldn’t let this get to Eren, who knows what he would have done.
When he had left you felt so lonely and you were worried about him. Of course he was strong and a great fighter but, he also put others before himself which worried you. As for him, he was happy you stayed home where he knew you were safe. As soon as you could see the airship your heart was pounding. With excitement, fear, hope and so many other emotions. But as soon as they came out Eren was in custody, grim faces, and a body, not to mention 2 kids...
Jean comes over to you with a straight face. He first embraces you over everything else. To feel you in his arms again was like grounding himself to reality that he was still alive.
“Jean?“ you asked
“...I’m sorry...“ he sniffed. Taking a head count there was one missing, Sasha. That body...it couldn’t have been...unless those kids were..
Pain was something you knew all too well. Yet this pain of losing someone was familiar yet more painful than anything. You didn’t have all the time in the world to mourn though, you had to tend to injured soldiers. Everyone wasn’t seriously hurt, a few scrapes and bruises but nothing more. After everyone was patched up you wanted to see Jean. You asked to see him or any injuries, which he actually had a few, just some scratches. You ask him to come to your room for more privacy.
“Come on take your shirt off“ you said grabbing some swabs and disinfectant
“you just want me to be shirtless“ he said with weak humor. You softly giggle but you know he wasn’t completely okay. Lifting up his head by his chin you make him look at you. You didn’t need any words as you lean down and kiss him gently. The kiss lingers just for a bit as his hands glide up to your waist and brings you down into his lap.
“being out there in war is the last thing I ever want to see. But if it means that I get to come back to you I'll give you a hundred times“ he whispered to you with one more kiss to your soft lips. Without moving from your place in his lab, you continue to clean and patch up the small scrapes on his chest. After you were done he laid with you in bed for the night.
The next morning you had to go and see Eren. You had to make sure he didn’t seriously injure himself or trying to at the moment. Of course there would be someone there with you just to be sure you were safe. And of all people it was Jean, now you were in a basement with you ex-boyfriend, and current boyfriend. He reluctantly opens the cells and lets you in.
“Y/N, it’s been a while. You look good“ he said eyeing you up and down, almost as if it were only you and him there.
“Please sit Eren. Did you hit your body in anyway?“ you ask feeling his shoulders and back; no broken bones
“No...“
“Hands please“ you hold yours out and take a hold of his large ones. They bring back a nostalgic feeling, you check them and see nothing wrong. You check other things like his eyes, head, hearing and he was in perfect health. Packing up your few things you tell him
“Well, you’re completely healthy and that should be because of your titan powers. If you start feeling sick make sure to tell the guard to get me.” before you could walk out he grabs your hand.
“Y/N wait“ he pulled you back a little
“Eren-“
“I still love you damn it!“ he cuts you off spinning your around. He meant it. He really did. It’s just you had moved on, and found a new light after seeing who he truly was. He still wanted you to be his.
“Eren let me go.” you try to shake him off
“Don’t you understand I’m doing this for us? So that we can finally be free together“ He holds you close and inches towards your face “whatever happened to us? Our future?“ he whispered
You shut  your eyes hoping for all this to be some crazy dream. You expected for a forceful kiss to crash on your lips but it never came. Opening your eyes Jean had put himself between you both. Moving your hand out of the way and pushing you behind him
“She said, let go.“ Jean said sternly keeping his ground. Your hand gripped the back of his long coat to keep him from taking any hits.
“Who the hell are you in this situation?” Eren sneered
“A guy who can actually love her the way she should be loved.” he barked right back
“Y/N.” he called but you didn’t answer “I know you too damn well, now get-”
“I love him Eren! H-he’s been caring for me when I was down and I love him“ while Jean had his cheeks flustered from your profession of love Eren’s heat in rage. Whatever God was out there, more guards had come after hearing the shouting.
“The hell is going on in here” Levi spoke up seeing you behind Jean and the tension of the room spoke for itself. “You two out and upstairs now.” he said sternly. He had to be the cold captain to mask his worry about you both. Jean puts you in front of him and escorts you out of the cell and you could faintly hear
“i fucking loved you....“
Getting you upstairs as fast as he could he walks you into a small office and locks the door. After locking the door he turns to you and embraces you into his chest
“Did he hurt you? Are you okay? Does anything hurt?“ he asked cheking your head and wrists
“Im okay Jean...“ you say almost quietly “Just...“ you hold back
“I won’t force you to say anything...but I’m here for you, okay?“ he tries to comfort you
You step forward and crash your forehead on to his chest. “hold me?” you didn’t mean for it to sound weak and broke but you were just shaken at the moment. He took you into his arms in mere seconds. Walking slowly backwards he sits on a couch with you in his lap. He held you tightly almost as if you were going to be ripped form his arms. He’d press kisses every now and then to your head and whisper things like
“I love you“
“You’re so strong“
“no one will ever hurt you“
It still hurt. It was still there. Maybe you weren’t as strong as you thought or wanted to be. Yet, at this moment you felt the safest you ever have in a long time. Jean’s warmth, his scent, his whole aura engulfed you. Almost like you were in a safety blanket, one that protected you from the world. Even from someone who was once your world...

A little written-in-the-middle-of-the-night Loki fic snippet that just grew another leg. TVA Loki + Lokane. Rating T.
(First part is here)
Shine a Light, part II
The tempad feels hot and slippery in his palm as he stalks down the hallway, quickly putting distance between himself and the hunter he left unconscious amidst overturned chairs and tables in the canteen.
The mess had already been there, leftovers from workers rushing panicked to man their stations. He had simply added one more touch.
Tiny droplets of sweat bead his brow and blood has started seeping though the tear in his crumbled shirt.
The fabric is clinging wetly to his bicep, but in the mayhem unfolding around him, nobody gives him a second glance.
For the first time, he is thankful at least to be wearing the anonymous uniform dictated by the oppressors.
He reaches the kill me kind of room again and shuts the door behind him.
You were meant to cause suffering and death.
You’re a cosmic mistake.
You were meant to die at the hands of the mad titan.
Lies.
All lies.
Still projected on the wall is the paused image of a lost memory of his unfulfilled fate.
He sees himself, Thor and her on the barren planet with the black soil. The man he never became is lying on the ground, Thor cradling him.
She watches them both in shock.
Tumblr media
It resonates in his bones. He has to go there.
He has to reach his brother at this precise, excruciatingly rare moment of heroism. His act of heroism.
Before the scheming and deceit poison their bond once more in an endless loop of disappointment.
In this moment, all is forgiven. Thor will listen and help. A different path will branch.
And he has to go to her.
It is ludicrous, this riddle, yet the truth of it presses hard on his chest.
On the grainy roll of film, he saved her life and her eyes bore into his with such intensity, his acute need still reverberates like an echo between the walls of the kill me kind of room.
The smell of lilacs lingers.
What will happen when he faces his own self on the timeline, he can’t imagine. Also, he gives it little thought at this late stage with universal logic already suspended as it is. Hopefully he can reason with the man he was meant to be.
He has had quite enough of being his own past, present and future selves’ worst enemy.
And so he pushes the buttons on the tempad.
//
Something is very wrong.
The sky is too blue, the distant sound of waves lapping calmly at a shore is misplaced.
He has emerged from the door onto a quiet gravel road lined with tall grass and low pines. A single, white wooden house stands to his left, surrounded by a lawn dotted with wildflowers. The sun is warm on his back.
This is Midgard, he is sure of it.
How could he shoot past his destination so spectacularly?
He is about to scroll down the list of numbers and names on the tiny screen of the tempad when he notices a man approaching. Old, walking leisurely with a round, short-legged dog much the same white color as the mortal’s own wispy hair.
The latter starts a little when he spots Loki.
And then he does the most unexpected thing and speaks his name.
Loki’s name.
He almost drops the tempad (no! Not again) and the old one grins good-naturedly. “Hold on to your fancy phone there. Far away, were we?”
Loki only just about stops himself from shaking the man by his shoulders. His fists clench uncontrollably.
“What year is this?! How do you know my name?”
His voice sounds shrill, feverish, and unsurprisingly the eyes in the lined face before him go wide with puzzlement and … something else.
“Loki, what on Earth? Are you quite alright?”
Shock washing over him, Loki staggers back. H-how?
But the man is closing the gap between them, oozing concern. “Have you - are you drunk?” he asks incredulously.
He reaches out.
What is happening?
Loki shies away from the touch, his mind spinning.
Forcibly gathering his composure, he straightens and wills his words to come out steady. “No, I’m okay. Apologies. A bad joke”.
He smiles reassuringly. It takes more effort than parting an ocean.
The dog is sniffing insistently at his ankles.
The man looks him over with suspicion but the worry is subsiding. “Okay, then… no harm, no foul. You know, sometimes these peculiar ‘jokes’ of yours can make a neighbor all kinds of slightly worried”.
Neighbor?
“Most understandably, won’t happen again. Sorry to have bothered you”. Loki cuts him off smoothly. “Have a nice day”. He nods and turns before hysteria can creep into his voice.
“In case you need it for your punchline, the year is 2016”, the man calls over his shoulder as he shuffles away, pulling the reluctant dog after him.
Loki’s blood runs cold. 2016. Oh, this is so wrong. Three years wrong.
Did he hit another button at the last minute? He had been clutching the tempad so hard the edges cut into his fingers.
He curses his own impatience. Tech savvy indeed.
Holding up the blasted piece of TVA wizardry, he tries to enter a new series of numbers when his name rings out again.
And again, he almost jumps. But this time, his heart stays in his throat.
//
“Loki? What are you doing out here? I’ve been looking all over for you”.
Her voice reaches him from the porch of the white house. She is skipping lightly down the steps, the screen doors left open behind her. Music drifts into the garden from somewhere inside.
She is crossing the lawn. He is no longer breathing.
Her long auburn hair is tied back in a ponytail, and she is wearing a light blue summer dress. Her feet are bare.
Absurdly, he notes that she looks more tanned than the last time he saw her through the visor of the destroyer in the desert. A year and a lifetime ago. To him.
His grip on whatever reality he’s been clinging to since New York is seriously faltering.
She is beaming. He cannot move a muscle.
She comes all the way up to him and without pause wraps her slender arms around his neck. He can feel the warmth of her body through his shirt, smell the perfume of her skin. She smells of … -
“Where did you go, handsome?” She smiles playfully.
“Pepper called earlier to say that she actually got Tony out of the door on time, if you can believe it, so they’ll be here any minute. And her and I agreed that you two hotheads are going to play nice tonight, okay?”
She is teasing him but he hardly understands the words she’s saying. It makes no sense.
And then, before he can begin to form a response, she stands on tiptoes and kisses him and the world falls away.
Reflexively, he puts his arms around her, drawing her close to him. She moans happily. He leans into the kiss, not knowing what he’s doing other than that he never wants to stop.
Her mouth is soft and warm and new and familiar all at the same time, and the way her fingers curl in his hair sends electricity shooting down his spine.
It should be all anguish and tragic confusion, like before in the castle beyond time, but it is not.
It feels more right that anything he can remember since before his fall from the Bifrost, more real and yet more magical than his recent journeys into mystery.
Then it’s over all too soon and she draws away.
His arms are suddenly much too empty and he almost reaches for her again, craving her touch.
For a fleeting heartbeat, his soul had no longer felt torn apart to the point of forgetting he’d ever been whole.
The chaos had crumbled in on itself like a bad dream.
He is surprised he still knows what peace of mind feels like after what has happened to him since arriving at the TVA.
But now she looks at him with alarm in those beautiful brown eyes and he is crudely reminded that he is an intruder in her reality.
What she thought she saw, she clearly no longer recognizes.
It takes him all of three stupidly long seconds to remember that she said his name. That he’s wearing his own face and not a disguise.
That she knew him immediately, just like the old man.
She kissed him.
Too many impossible possibilities and the thunderous sound of his own heartbeat (surely she can hear it too) blur his vision.
He’s only vaguely aware that he is stepping towards her, trying to say something without the faintest idea of what’s going to come out of his mouth.
If it’ll even be words.
Her eyes dart over his clothes, his face.
“Loki, what - Why are you dressed like that? Have you been gone? Is that … blood?”
She retreats further, fear building.
“Jane, I-“
Her name rolls of his tongue with a sweet-tasting intimacy like he has said it a thousand times before.
But he doesn’t get to dwell on this, nor gather his thoughts to say anything else before something abruptly lifts him off the ground and hurls his body across the road.
“How dare you touch her, beast?!”
Immediately as his back connects with the rough gravel, someone is there, a knee pushing him down, fingers closing around his throat. A sharp object presses against his chin.
There is a dangerous, unhinged growl as his attacker breathes hotly in his ear. “You will die for this!”
The man is strong and somehow blocking Loki’s own magic, but he still manages to twist his head -
And looks right up into his own eyes, nearly black with rage.
//
“Speak! What are you??”
The man with a face exactly like his presses the tip of his blade closer to Loki’s left eye. “You will show yourself right now or -“
Gathering his magic tightly around him (focus!), Loki pushes back, hard.
With a surge of energy, their bodies are separated, and the other version of him lands heavily in the middle of the road some meters away.
Both of them are on their feet with the fluid movements of two panthers ready to pounce, the other now in full armor.
He has to leave, right now, even if means leaving her which is a catastrophe that might either kill him or make him try to kill his other self if he stays here another minute.
This timeline is clearly not his own.
It cannot be.
Arm outstretched to ward off his furious twin with a shield of magic, he tries to work the tempad with one hand.
“Well, well, what do we have here?”
A booming voice above their heads.
“You know, when Jane pressed the panic button just now, I thought we had an actual emergency. Not that you were preparing a little dinner show for us, Reindeer Games. Gotta be honest though, this doppelgänger stunt was never my favorite -“
“Stark!”
The variant - for he must be a variant - angrily interrupts the man in the metal suit hovering in the air.
Of course, Loki remembers him all too clearly.
What has it been, less than a week since he threw him, or a version of him, out the window of the glass tower?
“This is not my creation”, the variant hisses with venom dripping from every word. “I caught him assaulting Jane. Kissing her”.
“What?!”
Stark focuses all his attention (and one of his iron fists) on Loki. A metallic humming rises steadily from inside the suit.
“A man on a suicide mission then. Boy, did you smooch the wrong wizard’s baby-mama. He may look all domesticated and cute now, but I assure you he’s still all kinds of crazy. In fact-”.
“Hey!”
“What?”
“I know it’s asking a lot, of you in particular, Stark, but could we possibly save the personal insults till we have dealt with this right here?”
Wait, just wait.
Damn it, he can’t tap in the destination on the tempad without looking at it.
Green smoke is swirling around the hands of his other self. He knows what’s coming.
“This is your last warning, devil! I will not have you hiding behind my face as I -“
“This is my face! I’m you, you fool! Bigger things are at large here and-“ Loki falters, his silver tongue failing once more with rising predictability within what seems a disconcertingly short period of time.
Although he honestly can’t tell anymore.
“Please, take a minute -“
He can’t help but shout, sounding hopelessly desperate.
In another life, he might have felt humiliated, but letting pride dictate his emotions is no longer a luxury he can afford to indulge.
Still, the silence that follows his outburst is not nearly as long as he needs it to be.
The variant stares blankly at him, mouth slightly ajar, but Stark recovers easily, his voice now icy.
“Yeah, dude, that one might have worked better if you’d put on a clean shirt. Time to fess up real quick or we’ll have to-“
Drawing what might become his last breath, Loki looks away and down at the tempad. He presses the button. No more time to double check.
“What the?!”
Both Stark and the variant visibly flinch as the door appears.
He quickly makes for it. “I - I’m sorry. Truly, I am”. He looks to their stunned faces before turning to his exit.
Out of the corner of his eye, he registers the variant move (he has to be a variant). His mouth twists in an ugly snarl and two familiar daggers are appearing by his sides.
Before the door snaps completely shut, Loki sees Jane run up to the man and grab his arm.
“Love, no, don’t!”
He sees the slight bump under her dress that he didn’t notice before.
And then the scene disappears and he’s gone.

"Fuck, you look so good. Lets just go to your place and spend the night there. Fuck them kids," Jungkook's hands disappeared under your purple dress that he adored and despised at the same time. He wasn't complaining but he didn't want any other person possibly looking up your dress to catch a peek of his favorite pink panties.
"We're not ditching Hyun. You promised him last time that you wouldn't miss out again," he groaned as he instantly knew what you were referring to. Last Halloween, he ditched the both of you for a girl he was wanting to mess around with. Jungkook wasn't going to let this opportunity pass up so last minute he notified you that he wasn’t coming.
"Stop reminding me of my shitty mistakes," he sighed. His face was buried into your green scarf that tickled you every five seconds. His slicked back hair brushed against your cheek constantly. His hands slipped under your underwear causing you to yelp and push him away. "What the hell is wrong with you? It's Halloween and there's kids around."
He pouted, his lower lip pushing out. "What's wrong with me? Not my fault, you look incredible," his eyes lingered on your purple gogo boots that he seemed to be obsessed with. Even imagined you bent over with them while he was behind you, pounding into you. You looked so angelic with them on. He wasn't sure how long he can hold himself back for. "Why would you wear this if you know how I am?"
"It's our costume, dumbass," you pointed at his white pollo shirt with the bright red tie in between. His dark jeans which tightly enclosed around his thick thighs. "I'm Daphne and you're Fred Jones," you turned away from him, waiting on his cousin to burst through those doors anytime soon so you could avoid Jungkook’s stare.
"Why couldn't we be Shaggy and Velma?" he leaned on the hood of his car, watching a child trip over his own feet. He was close to bursting out in laughter but you shot him a glare just in time. "I wasn't gonna laugh. Seriously though, we're better off as them. Appearance wise—well actually Daphne could've suited you more than Velma but whatever."
You rolled your eyes and stood next to him. His arm came around your shoulder to hold you close. His Victoria's Secret perfume was strong but you don't comment on it."Hyun wanted to be Shaggy. It would make way more sense for him to be, he has a dog."
The second you finished your sentence, a brown Great Dane puppy came running down to you from the house his owner was in. Her steps are big as she leaped to make it to Jungkook and you fast. You squealed, throwing your boyfriend's arm off of you. Jungkook would whine about it but how could he, when it's a cute puppy.
"Nala! Hi girl, how are you doing?"she wagged her tail around as you bent down to caress her fur. A red harness around her chest but no sign of a leash on her. "You don't have your leash on, go put your leash on!" she ignored you and jumped on you again.
"We should get a dog," Jungkook thought out loud from thinking about it too hard. His ears flushed a tint of red from the tip. He turned to see your reaction but you don't appear to be bothered from his suggestion. He released a breath he didn't notice he was holding in. His stupid mind wondering the impossible. There was no way you would want a dog with him.
Luckily his aunt and cousin saved him from any more trouble. He rolled his eyes when Hyun came running to your arms instead of him, his cousin. His brown hair was messy to fit the role of Shaggy. Honestly, Jungkook still thought that he would've made a perfect Shaggy.
"Aww, you look so adorable Hyun! I haven't seen you in almost a year," you hugged him tightly. Ignoring the way your boyfriend was glaring at him, he kissed your cheek. "I can't believe I missed your birthday, I'm so sorry."
"It's okay," he reassured you as his mother came from behind him. She greeted the two of you, mentioning how she was happy when she found out the news of the two of you being together.
"It was about time," she muttered under her breath, taking a glance at Jungkook when she bent down to hook the leash on Nala. He looked away, ashamed of previous actions. If Jungkook could’ve been with you over sooner, he would've stopped fooling around with other girls. "Alright, you got everything?" Hyun nodded and gave his mom a kiss. "Behave good for Jungkook and Y/N," she turned to you, handing over this pumpkin basket. "If anything happens please call me. Have him home by ten please."
"We will, come on Hyun," you held your hand for him to take. He hugged his mother again before grabbing your hand. The contrast between the two was cute, your larger hand engulfed his. Jungkook made sure that he rubbed the top of Hyun’s head gently so he wouldn't fuss about Jungkook being extra vicious with him.
Hyun waved at his mother as Jungkook clutched his free hand, watching her figure shrink. He tightened the grasp around your hand. Nala walked in front of you, sniffing all the areas. She became annoyed at one kid, dressed as a witch, coming to pet her harshly. Jungkook was close to telling the child to fuck off but you warned him.
"You're not dad material," you followed Hyun to a house. Jungkook's hot on your trail and ready to defend himself but Nala ran towards a plant to piss on it. "Seriously, don't bother trying to get me pregnant, I do not want your babies."
"Oh shut up. You told me I'm daddy material."
"I thought we agreed we weren't into that too," Hyun ran up the house with the minimal decoration. There were really no other Halloween decorations besides the basket outside with a note on it and a pumpkin on the right. Talk about being in the spirit. "It says to take one," you pointed at the basket filled with bags of candy.
"Take all of them."
"No! Just take one."
"Take all of them, who cares?"
"I care!" you turned around to give him a dirty look. He was already smiling at you, apparent that he knew that he was annoying you. "Take all of them, one of the kids are eventually going to," he shrugged when you continued to stare at him. "I'm speaking facts, bubs—oh! Nala's pooping, did you bring a bag?" he asked while having a stare down with the puppy. Her eyes stared simply at Jungkook as she continued her business on the freshly mowed grass.
"Why would I bring a pooping bag?!" you turned towards him and away from Hyun. He picked up handfuls of candy, nearly putting it in his basket before he noticed something.
"Well shit," Jungkook laughed, looking around to see if any other kid heard him. There's a group of kids coming for the house you're standing at. "My aunt didn't give me one."
"I'm not leaving the poop here," you pointed to the sign that clearly said to pick up after your dog. Jungkook groaned before becoming aware of what was in Hyun's hand. He handed him the poop bag, small poop emojis imprinted over it.
"That's so cute," you gushed over the stupid bag and the puppy too. You don't listen to the basket of candy being emptied into Hyun’s pumpkin basket, too engrossed into Nala. Jungkook shot a thumps up to Hyun, satisfied with his cousin.
Even if you do seem to notice how full his basket was despite only being to five houses, you don't mention it. His collection of candy for the night was becoming so full, Jungkook had to carry some in the pockets of his blue jeans until they eventually became stuffed. He also filled up a takeout bag of Burger King where Jungkook took the two of you to eat.
Nala's on his lap, sleeping from the almost two hour walk. Jungkook picked her up after the first hour and was pleased with how sweet she was in his arms. She clearly enjoyed his warmth the most out of the two of you. The evidence was her snoozing in the middle of noisy fast food place. Hyun was somewhat tired and ready for bed. His bedtime was nearing and the signs of exhaustion were lucid.
"Is Y/N like your girlfriend?" Hyun asked, his chicken nuggets being sloppily dipped in the ketchup. His feet swung high since he was unable to touch the ground.
"Sadly, yes," Jungkook sighed and looked over at you. He smiled at you as he watched the grin grow on your face. "We're dating now. No longer am I a free man, Hyun."
"If you marry her then does that mean she's like part of the family?" Hyun blinked. A bit of ketchup sliding down the corner of his mouth before you wipe it for him.
"Yes—actually I don't what she'll be to you but yes she'll be apart of the family," Jungkook grabbed a fry before pointing it at you. "So if you want her to become apart of the family, tell her to start proposing to me."
"Isn't it the other way around?" he asked, innocently. His curious eyes make your heart flutter.
"No," Jungkook and you respond at the same time. He kicked your boot lightly underneath the table, smiling like an idiot. "Y/N will be proposing to me, we would like to break stereotypes. I want an expensive ring too and I expect you to take care of me."
"Can I be your boyfriend too?" Hyun almost cut off Jungkook to ask his question. You could practically see the steam rushing out of Jungkook's ears the second his cousin finished. You giggled and nodded. Jungkook kicked you underneath the table, trying to persuade you to glance over at him. Hyun hugged you, eyeing your boyfriend. The glint of the sinister in there from your response.
"Well if I marry her, she's my wife," Jungkook jabbed his pointer finger into the boy's chest. "And you're just her boyfriend so you would be nothing compared to me," he leaned back. His arms crossed over his chest, his biceps flaunting out of nowhere. You mentally rolled your eyes at his competitiveness emerging. "Besides she said she wanted a big strong man not a little boy like you."
"That's not true, right?" Hyun turned to you. His eyes begging to you that you truly did not say that. You were prepared to disagree but Jungkook spoke again.
With a playful smug on his face, he rubbed the end of his combat boot against your exposed skin. "That's not she told me last—"
You kicked his leg harshly, earning a cry from him. He grunted as his small jump away from you awakened the puppy. "Be quiet, we're literally in a public place," your cheeks are warm from the information about your intimacy he was spilling out. "We should get going, it's getting late," you slid out of the booth and ignored the protests of the boys who wanted to stay longer. You poured water into Jungkook's hands for Nala to drink outside before departing.
Jungkook carried Hyun on the way back. Slumber made up its mind and took over the exhausted kid. He had poured his energy out running from door to door. Jungkook offered to also carry Nala on his other side but you didn't want to force him to bear all that weight so you suggested for him to take the basket. Once you returned to his aunt’s home, his uncle removed Hyun from his arms before thanking you for looking after him and wishing you a good night.
Jungkook's ready to doze off too tired from the events of tonight to even go to his own place. His ascot tie undone by the time he reached your small apartment complex. He almost missed it if he didn't stop to stare into the mirrors to make sure he wasn't parking on the red line. Your fingers hooked around the ends of your pink lacy underwear before pushing it down. He doesn't grasp how in a blink of an eye, you're on top of him with your buttons from your dress undone.
“What are you doing?” he asked, his hands already on your hips to direct them. Jungkook fidgeted as he watched you pull the straps of your bra down slowly. He was on the verge of taking you right then and there in the backseat of his car as you teased him.
“Giving you your sweets too.”

Nautiscader's Wendip Week 2021 - Day 2, say something
Melody asks Wendy and Dipper a favour. Will they prove her right in choosing them?
(Ao3)
===========
- Okay, here's the baby formula, here are the spare clothes, here's his favourite toy. - Agu. - It's called Agu. - Melody continued - At least this week it is, I think. He cannot talk yet.
Melody smiled and dragged her finger across her son's belly, causing him to giggle.
- Now, don't take this the wrong way, guys - Melody addressed her babysitters - I would usually ask Mabel and Pacifica, but since they are out of town, you are kinda my last hope. Are you sure you can do that?
Wendy Corduroy and Dipper Pines exchanged confident looks and nodded, giving Melody wide smiles.
- Don't worry, Melody, Shaun will be fine. - Wendy replied with a warm smile and took the chubby boy into her arms. - Yeah, I’ve helped Mabel babysitting, and Wendy obviously has tons of experience. - Dipper reassured her.
Melody gave each of them one last look, as if she was making final decision of which shirt to buy and returned the smile they gave her.
- Alright. We should be back by 7.
She leaned and gave her son one last hug.
- You won't cause too much trouble with Wendy and Dipper, will you, Shaun?
The baby waved his arms and replied and answer only he could understand. Melody jumped in place when she hear the car horn outside.
- Okay, take care of him! Call me if something happens!
And with that, she stormed out of Mystery Shack, leaving the two teenagers with a gruelling task.
- He does look like them, doesn't he? - That's how babies work, dork. - Wendy joked back - But yeah, he sure is Melody and Soos' son.
Shaun reached for his rattle and brought it to his mouth, prompting a fast reaction from both of them.
- No, that's not food. It's not plastic enough for food nowadays. - Wendy spoke, pushing the rattle away, much to Shaun's sadness. - Here, take this. - Dipper handed him a bottle of milk. - You-you know how to use it, right?
And Shaun answered that by chomping his baby lips around the rubber, eagerly sucking the milk.
- I think we make a pretty good team. - Wendy said, and the two high-fived each other and leaned on the counter. - Yeah, Mabel told me all about those times she had to make sure the baby is fine, as if it could spontaneously disappear or combust.
The two burst into laughter, and turned around to check on the baby, their voices silenced in an instant.
- Where is he?! - Dipper yelled - He-he was there! - Wendy pointed to the Shaun-less counter, still with all of his toys and empty bottle of milk.
The two began frantically looking around, first to the floor, then to the doors and windows, and to their rising horror, Shaun was nowhere to be found.
Wendy grabbed a rattle and using it as a lure shook it to catch Shaun's attention, but up to no avail.
- Okay, how fast can babies crawl? - Dipper asked, opening one by one each barrel full of toys sold at the Shack.
In his mind, he tried his best to estimate where on Earth could Shaun disappear, and whether they should alert everyone in ten-mile radius.
But fortunately for them, one single "ding" solved their problem.
Wendy and Dipper turned their head towards the vending machine and saw baby Shaun standing in the elevator, though they only caught a glimpse of him when the door closed.
- No! - they both shouted and ran towards the shaft, but not until it closed completely. - How-How did he open the door? - Er, I'm gonna assume that "Tehees", "Doggy-dogs" and "NGC 7619 Galaxies" are his parents' favourite snacks? Cos that's what the combination matches...
Dipper furiously retyped the code and paced in place, waiting for elevator to come back up, hoping Shaun would still be there. But if the previous minutes have taught him anything is that children are far less predictable than he thought.
Dipper and Wendy stormed into the empty elevator and began riding down, dreading what could have happened with Shaun.
- Please tell me that Ford locked his lab... - Wendy spoke, after hiding her face in her hands. - Well, he usually does.
The elevator door opened, and their hearts sank again. This time he didn't. The two rushed into the underground lab, truly unsure what they could find inside. In front of them were vast rows of tables and bookcases, each containing, as they supposed, one of Ford's new experiments...
The two split up on both sides of the aisle, checking each and every box, crate and anything vaguely dangerous Shaun could have crawled into.
- Uh! Come on, where are you? - Dipper barked, unable to locate him. - I thought you've said that you've helped Mabel deal with kids! - Well... - Dipper's voice lowered down - Like, once. But what about you? I thought you knew how to handle babies! - I did not sign up for babies crawling into labs, dude! she barked back - You have three brothers! - Dipper exclaimed - Didn't they do stupid stuff? - YEAH, BUT MY MOM WAS ALWAYS THERE! - Wendy exploded and hid her face in her hands.
Any response Dipper had was stuck in his throat, as he watched her wipe away her tears she exploded into.
- Wendy... I'm- - She's always been there. - she continued - Like, I helped and stuff, especially with little Gus, but she still did the most... And Dad's always been there too, so... I wasn't that useful, really...
Her voice cracked, as she spoke, unable to meet her friend's eyes.
- But then you called and... and I knew you needed help as well, so I knew what to do...
Dipper shied away and reached his hand to console her.
- Look, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done it. But we must find Shaun. - You're right. - she sniffed. - Agu!
At the sound of his voice, Dipper and Wendy jolted in place, frantically looking around, unable to locate the sound of the voice.
- Shaun?! Shaun! - Wendy shouted, getting familiar babbling in response. - Uh, W-Wendy...
Dipper tapped her shoulder, and pointed to the far-away end of the lab. Wendy gasped when she saw Shaun crawling on the top of flimsy-looking stack of books, reaching his hands to grab a model of a space-ship, dangling from the ceiling.
At the same time, Dipper and Wendy did the same thing. They've launched themselves, just as the stack of books lost all integrity, and baby Shaun fell.
Shaun was about to hit the other Shelf, but a pillow thrown by Dipper bounced him to the other side - evidently, it wasn't just filled with feathers.
Shaun fell into a box that Wendy caught, but as she looked inside - he wasn't there, and leapt from a second one, right next to her.
As she somersaulted through the air, Dipper tried catching him with a long net... and only succeeded by making him fly for another two minutes, as he wss now sporting wings.
Wings, which he lost when he passed through what looked like a UV light, but not before tearing the net apart.
But as he was about to slam into the ground, four arms reached out, grabbing him safely.
For an agonisingly long while, piercing silence fell, as Dipper and Wendy awaited some response from Shaun.
The baby looked at them, wearing the same baffled look, though without the dash of horror Wendy and Dipper sported.
- Shaun? Shaun! - Wendy gently took him in her arms. - Ugh, I wish he could say something! Hasn't Ford made a baby translator, or something? - Dida!
The two turned on the spot and watched as little Shaun babbled and pointed towards Dipper.
- Wait, what did you say? - Di-da! Di-da! - Shaun repeated eagerly - I think he means "Dipper"... - Wendy smiled, shedding another tear. - You think so, Wendy? - We-wy! We-wy!
Wendy gasped, and put her hands over mouth.
- That's-that's how Gus used to call me too...
She took him once more in her arms and giggled with him, hoping to get another rendition of her name. But the baby babbled "Agu" again, pointing to the spaceship model.
- Yeah, alright, have another Agu.
Dipper reached and, after checking if it didn't have any sharp edges, gave the flying saucer to Shaun.
- Let's get you back up... - Wendy, listen, I'm- - I know, dude. - Wendy cut him off - I didn't take it seriously enough as well..
With his new toy in his stubby arms, Shaun babbled in Wendy's arms, as the three got back in the elevator and rode up.
=======
- Okay, should give two burps now.
Wendy read the instructions, watching as Dipper held Shaun in his arms. He gently tapped his back, and to his amusement, received two small burps.
- Hey, it worked! - At least that's comforting...
The doorbell rang again, this time welcoming Melody back, as the businesswoman rushed back to see her baby back. Warm smile appeared on her face when she saw Shaun in Dipper's arms and she walked to take him back.
- Oh, Shaun, I've missed you so much... - L-Look, Melody!
Wendy and Dipper grabbed the little Shaun and proudly lifted him towards her, as if she has never seen her own child.
- Di-da! We-Wy! - He-he talks now! - Dipper exclaimed - A bit.
Melody's eyes brightened and shone with tears, as she took her son back into her arms.
- Oh, I'm so proud of you! Wait until your dad hears about it. - she gave Wendy and Dipper warm smile - You two have done really good job.
At the same time, Dipper and Wendy shared nervous looks, and as they both felt something churning in their stomach, they decided to come clear.
- Melody, look... the thing is... - We didn't. We turned our backs for a second, and... he just disappeared. - And he got into Ford's lab, and...   - And all the hell broke loose! - We... we failed you.
Dipper and Wendy awaited Melody's reaction, watching as she listened to their confession.
- Yeah, but that's what usually happens. Did he activate the copying machine again? - No, but- - Wait, what?
Melody smiled.
- Yeah, Mabel and Paz didn't have much luck with him as well. - she giggled. - You had to see their faces when there were fifteen of Shauns to take care of! One was only in black-and-white, it ran out of colour. It's a good thing those copies are destroyed when wet... Quite easy for babies, if you know what I mean.
Dipper and Wendy listened to her surprisingly nonchalant speech, as she continued to toy with her son's belly.
- Well, I guess you've got a test for when you'll be parents.
The two teenagers looked at each other, both sporting a deeply crimson blush on their faces, as they both rushed to deny any such possibility for a long time.
- Want to do something else and never talk about that? - Agree.
And the two jumped onto the sofa, ready to watch a movie in complete silence for once.

Dog sitting Krypto.
Supercorp, Kara Danvers x Daughter!Reader, Lena Luthor x Daughter!Reader
Word count: 2365.
“No.” Conner hasn't even asked you yet, but you know it’s the right answer.
“Come on, lab rat!” Superboy flashes you his big smile. “He is sweet, and loyal, and very obedient.”
“He is also a dog.” You point out and Krypto let out a whine. “No, no whining.” Conner also whines. “Ok, you two. It’s not that I don’t want to, it’s just that my mom would never let me.”
“It’s just for a couple of days.” He kneels down next to Krypto and scratches his head. “He won’t even bark. And you know Supergirl would love a dog.”
“Conner, I’m going to get into serious trouble.”
“Two days, lab rat. That’s all I’m asking.” He stands up and puts a hand on your shoulder. “I know you expect me to cause you trouble. But this is Krypto, he is a good dog.”
Krypto also can sense you’re still skeptical about the whole thing, so he flies to you and licks you face, making you giggle. You scratch his head and sigh.
“Ok, fine. Krypto can stay.”
“Woo-hoo!” Conner and Krypto celebrate and he soon brings you in for a hug, lifting you off the ground. “You’ll not regret this. Thank you so much! I’m so happy. You’re amazing, you know that, right?”
“Yeah, I know.” You smile a little cocky and he kisses your cheek and Krypto’s head before flying away. You look down at the dog next to you and smile. “Ok boy, few rules.” You kneel down in front of him and the dog waves his tail. “Don’t go anywhere near Lena, and try not to break anything. Ok?”
Krypto seems to agree when he licks your hand, so you open the door and let him inside the house. He goes around sniffing everything and you follow him closely. When you get to the kitchen, he smells the cookies on top of the counter and flies to them.
“Hey, no! That’s not dog food.” You hold him down and he whines. “No.”
Krypto keeps whining and scratching your leg. You roll your eyes.
“Fine, you can have one.” You take one and he eats in seconds. You can see he is not satisfied, so you give him another one, and another one. You sit on the floor with the plate and you both finish the cookies together. “Just don’t tell anyone.” He licks you in response and you laugh.
“Hey, maybe we could fly to Jamie’s house so she can see you.” You stand up ready to do so, when you hear the door being opened.
“Babygirl, are you home?” Lena asks and you hide behind the counter holding Krypto close to you.
“Don’t say a word.” You tell him with your eyes popping out of your face.
“Baby?” Lena asks and you can hear her voice close to you.
“Hey!” You stand up from behind the counter. “You’re home early. Really, really early.” You look at the clock for confirmation and she is, indeed, very early.
“Oh, yes. I had a meeting with some investors and they were so annoying I gave myself the rest of the day off.” She smiles at you. “What were you doing behind the counter?”
“Me? Oh, ah. Shameless eating all the cookies.” You bend over to grab the plate and look at Krypto waving his tail ready to whine. “No, no!”
“No what?” She asks and you stand up fast.
“Nothing. Nothing.” You smile making her furrow her brows. “You know what, why don’t you go prepare a bath, while I pour down some wine for you so you can relax?”
“A bath would be nice.” Lena agrees with her head and makes her way to her bedroom, and you finally let out a breath you were holding since she walked in. You look down at Krypto who’s still confused and looking at you in excitement.
“You’re good boy.” You scratch his head reassuringly and put some wine for your mom. “Come on, come see my bedroom.” You make your way to your bedroom and open the door. Krypto walks in and jumps in the bed, laying down. You smile. “Ok, be good, I’ll be right back.”
You make your way to your moms’ bedroom and see Lena in her bathrobe checking the water.
“Here’s your wine. Just relax and forget about the whole meeting, ok?” You give it to her and she smiles.
“Thanks, babygirl, you’re amazing. Oh, um, can you grab the book on top of my bedside table?” You shake your head and with your super speed you’re back in a blink of an eye.
“Ok, I’ll leave you to it.” You close the bathroom door and run to your bedroom. When you open the door, you see Krypto flying around in full speed and there are lots of things on the floor. “No, no, no. What are you doing?”
Krypto barks his response.
“No barking. Oh, dear Rao, look what you’ve done.” You fly to him and hold him still in your arms. “It’s ok, I’m here now. You can calm down.”
And he does. You fly back to the ground with him still in your arms. He licks your face gently like he is trying to apologize and you smile.
“It’s ok, really. Just don’t bark while Lena is home. She can’t know you’re here.” You put him on your bed and kneel on the floor to collect your things all scattered around. “Can you do that for me?”
He doesn’t answer, so you think he understood. You collect all you can see and raises your head to the bed, where he no longer is.
“Oh no, come on.” You look at the door, you were stupid enough to not close it entirely so he opened up and ran away. You run out of your bedroom too. “Here, boy.”
You go to the kitchen first, maybe he is still hungry, but you don’t find him there. You look in the living room, and in the guest bedroom. No sign of him. You go to the backyard and he’s not there too. Dear Rao, he can’t. You use your superspeed and go to your moms’ bedroom. Krypto is there scratching the bathroom door to get to Lena.
“No!” You yell grabbing him and you hear Lena’s voice from the inside.
“Baby, why are you scratching the door?” You look at the dog, and then around. What are you going to say? Who scratches doors? “Do you need something?”
“Um… Yeah! I just-Food!” You yell.
“Food?” Lena asks again and you breathe deep.
“Yeah, can you order food?” You say and Krypto begins to whine on your lap. “No, shut up.”
“What?”
“Ok, good talk! Bye!” You turn on your heels to run out of the bedroom when you see Kara standing in the doorway. Your eyes pop out and her reaction is exactly the same.
“What are you doing?” She asks and you look at the dog on your arms fighting to free himself to get to Kara. “Your mom is going to kill you.”
“I know!” You finally let go of him and he flies towards her, greeting her with licks and jumps midair. She laughs at him and kisses him back. “Help me!”
“No.” Kara is still playing with the dog, but she looks at you very seriously. “I’m not getting dragged into this, you know how she feels about pets.”
“Momma, please! I’m just dog sitting him for a couple of days.” You beg, getting closer to her. “Please, I’ll do anything. I’ll take the blame for the next three things you break around the house.”
“Five.” Kara says with a mischievous smile and you shake your head disagreeing.
“Four.” You ask and with your super hearing you can hear Lena is leaving the bathtub. “Please. Please.”
“Fine. Take him to the backyard.” You two look at the handle of the door being opened. “Go! Go!”
You grab Krypto and use your superspeed to go to the backyard. Your senses are all on without your control, so you hear when Lena gets out of the bathroom.
“Hey!” Kara yells two octaves higher than her normal voice.
“Hey honey.” Lena answers and you see her shuffling through her clothes. “Can you please go check on our daughter? She is being super weird today, and doesn’t want to talk to me about it.”
“Weird? No. She’s just…” Kara starts and Lena looks back at her with an arched brow. “You know what, maybe she is a little weird. I’ll take her to the Fortress and talk it over.” She kisses your mom and Lena agrees with her head.
“Don’t take too long, I ordered Chinese, and I miss you.”
“Oh, we’ll be super fast.” Kara runs towards you and accidentally knocks down a vase on the way. “IT WAS THE KID!”
“Seriously? Now you’re going to break everything just so you can blame me?” You ask when she gets close to you and she laughs agreeing with her head. “Are we flying to the Fortress?”
“You are flying to the Fortress. I’m going to buy dog food, and a water bowl. And maybe a place where he can pee in?”
“Oh, he likes cookies too.” You smile at her and she rolls her eyes. “I’ll meet you there.”
You go to the Fortress and wait for Kara to show up. Hanging with Krypto there is fun, there’s a lot of space so he can run, and you play catch with him while you wait. Kara comes in a few minutes later looking like she bought everything in the pet store.
“Hey, hey. Look at this.” She opens one bag and takes a cape with the House of El symbol and wraps around his neck. “Krypto, the super dog!”
You laugh going through the bags. She bought a bed, food for weeks and things for him to play with. You grab a ball and toss to the other side of the room, Krypto flies to it and comes back with it completely destroyed.
“Well, we have to go.” Kara stands up putting food on a bowl, and water on another.
“Wait, we can’t leave him here.” You look at her and Kara puts her hands on her hips.
“Kid, we can’t bring him home. Lena will see him.”
“But-but. He will be lonely.” You pout and Krypto comes next to you and whines. “Would you like to be here all alone? In this ice palace?”
“Oh, come on, little one.” She looks at both of you. “You can pick him up in the morning.”
“Momma, please.” You hold her hand still pouting. “Please? For me?”
“I can’t believe I’m saying this, but… Fine.” She breathes heavily. “We’ll figure it out.”
Krypto flies with you guys looking overly excited with all the action. Kara is holding a bone and he is chasing her. It takes three times what it would usually take to get home, but it’s the most fun you had flying in your life.
It’s easier sneaking Krypton in the house with Kara’s help. You set up everything in your room, and you leave him there with a bone hoping this will be enough. You go eat with your moms, and Lena notices you and Kara are acting less weird, so she doesn’t ask anything. Krypto is sleeping when you go back to your room and the night goes on smoothly.
“Hey! Let me wake her up!” You hear Kara’s voice on the other side of your door in the morning, you wake up immediately looking through the door and seeing her blocking the door so Lena doesn’t walk in.
“I’m up!” You use your superspeed to get ready and open the door just enough to stick your head out. “I’ll be right down.”
Lena looks at your face, and back at Kara who has the most forced smile you have ever seen. She squints her eyes to both of you.
“You’re lucky I don’t have x-ray vision.” Lena mumbles and turns on her heels leaving you two behind. You look at Kara who lets out a sigh.
“We are lucky, aren’t we?” She smiles and you look down to see Krypto’s head sticking out, the same way as yours.
“We’re testing our luck. You take him to work while I’m school and then I’ll go pick him up.”
“Fine.” Kara picks him up and flies away with him. You breathe looking at your room and you pray to Rao, Lena doesn’t go inside to see what you’re hiding.
After school you go to CatCo to pick up Krypto. He is on the balcony and Kara is acting shady and sneaking up there to give him treats and toys. You look at the pile of toys destroyed by him on one side, and the amount of food she put out to him.
Kara tells you all about the fights they went together, and she is so excited about having a dog it’s almost like she forgot he is not yours, and that Superboy will pick him up next day.
And he does, indeed, comes back for Krypto the next day. And even though you had the most amazing time with him by your side, it was also super stressful hiding him from Lena. So, when Conner shows up and takes him away you breathe in relief. You can’t believe it worked. You and Kara hid a dog in your house for two days without Lena being aware, and now, you can breathe again.
“Hey.” Lena knocks on the glass door to the backyard to get your attention. You look back at her. “Everything’s ok?”
“Yeah, great.” You go back to her and hug her, happy for not having to keep a secret from her anymore.
“So, Conner picked up his dog already?” She raises one eyebrow and your mouth drops.
“No...” You pout and she shakes her head agreeing.
“Yeah... I’m a Luthor, babygirl.” She hugs you one more time and whispers in your ear. “You are so grounded.”
You should’ve trusted your instincts; you knew you were going to get in serious trouble. Damn you Krypto for being so cute.

Halloween Decorations
Tumblr media
A/N: Enjoy a little requested drabble (requested by @shantyf99)! Also, while not totally necessary, I couldn’t help but picture this as Javier and Reader from A Good Man in the future 🥺💕
Prompt: “There’s blood on your shirt.” “Oh, babe, don’t worry, it’s not mine. I’m not hurt.”
Pairing: Javier Peña x Reader
Warnings: this basically mentions PTSD without naming. Not much, but its in there, just so you’re aware.
»»————- ♡ ————-««
“Daddy!” Javier was almost bowled by the little girl clinging onto his legs. Immediately he dropped his briefcase in order to scoop her up and hold her in his arms. She beamed at him, an almost carbon copy of him, down to the dark eyes and curls, save for the softness in her features that he swore were from you.
“Hi mi alma,” he kissed her chubby little cheeks as she giggled and wrapped her small arms around his cheek. She was the definition of a daddy’s girl, something that had surprised Javier immensely when she was younger, but something that he had grown to adore, “how are you? Were you good for your Mama today?”
“Mhmm,” she nodded eagerly, her dark curls bouncing wildly, “we baked cookies and brownies and put the ‘ween decorations!”
“'ween decorations?” he repeated as he picked up the discarded briefcase and tried to figure out what she was talking about. But then he looked around the yard and noticed that it was looked entirely different than it had when he’d left for morning. Gone was the quiet suburban front yard that fit in the quaint Texas neighborhood, and in was a spooky mess of skulls, bones, and tombstones, “ahh, Halloween.”
“That’s what I said Daddy,” she insisted firmly, sighing heavily at him, a funny little habit she definitely inherited from you, “the 'ween decorations! Mama said I did a good job. Its my favorite holiday! We get all sorts of candy!”
“Just like your Mama,” he snorted as he observed a particularly gruesome skeleton. He barely got the door open before Deacon, followed by his senior compatriot Stevie, made their way to the door to greet Javier. The dogs sniffed up and down, making sure ther no other dogs had gotten attention whilst they didn’t.
He gently set Lucia on the ground before sitting down and greeting the dogs, offering them the best pets and scratches.
“Javi?” your voice called out to him and he felt all the stress and worry from his day lift from his shoulders, “is that you, my love?”
“Be right there!” he called back to you before slowly standing up, offering the dogs one final pet for the moment, “Lucita, why don’t you take the boys out back and play with them for a little bit? Judging by the smell, dinner will be ready soon.”
“Okay Daddy,” she beamed at him, suddenly taking her task from him very seriously. She marched towards the patio doors, dogs, who were loyal and protective over her, following close behind. He left out a soft sigh, feeling so much warmth and love in his chest. Some days he was sure that none of this was real, that he couldn’t possibly deserve any of this. But then he’d come home and you’d kiss him and tell him you loved him or he’d roll over in bed and you’d still be in his arms, or Lucia would come and find him when she’d had a bad dream. And then he knew - this was all very much real. He’d done something right in his life, something that had brought you to him, and in turn created this wonderful life for him. He never thought he was a good man, a worthy man, but you always reminded him that he was.
“I’m in the bathroom,” you called to him as you heard his footsteps approaching. You were currently under the sink, a wrench in one hand and almost hidden the cabinet underneath the sink. It had sprung a leak earlier and instead of calling a plumber or handyman, you’d taken it upon yourself to fix it.
“Hey baby,” he said softly as he walked in and started to loosen his tie. He made a small sound of amusement when he spied you on the floor, tinkering away etc the faucet, “you realize we can afford a plumber?”
“Yes,” you held the wrench and waved it at him, “but I am a very capable woman. And I wanted to prove to myself I could fix it.”
“You are the most capable of women. One of the many things I love about you,” he promised as he tossed the tie off and started to unbutton his shirt. He looked back at you and that’s when his heart stopped. His mouth opened and closed a few times as he stared at the red spot on your shirt, covering a decent amount of the white shirt you were sporting.
Blood.
His vision started to get hazy as he tried to keep calm and not panic.
“Javi?”
“There’s blood on your shirt,” he managed to stammer out as he sank to his knees next to you. This had to be his worst nightmare; it was often the stuff that made up the few nightmares that he experienced now and then. He’d seen that same wound plenty of times in the past, the past he had buried and left behind in Colombia, long before he met you. But no; this couldn’t be happening to you, “there’s blood…”
“What?” you asked as you crawled out from under the sink, looking around for what he was talking about. It was then you realized - your shirt was covered in faux blood from your earlier exploits in decorating the house. Lucia and the dogs had kept you so busy, and then the fiasco with the sink happened, and you’d never gotten the chance to change your shirt. Javi was pale as you scooted over to him, taking his face in your hands as you shook your head, “oh babe, don’t worry, it’s not mine. I’m not hurt.”
He tried to even his breathing as he realized you didn’t appear to be in pain, and you weren’t panicked in the slightest. He nodded slowly as you held him closely, “whats it from?”
“Its fake,” you promised, “from decorating earlier. I swear. Its okay, Javier. I’m right here, baby.”
As if to prove your point further and keep him from worrying, you stripped off your shirt and tossed it to the side. His dark eyes scanned your frame and he was relieved when he could see no injuries, “thank God. I don’t know what…I’m so glad you’re okay.”
“I am,” you promised, nuzzling your face against his and pressing a soft kiss to his nose, “its okay, Javier. I’ve got you. Nothing will ever happen to you, or me, or Lucia.”
“I love you,” he said softly as he started to calm down. He let you hold him as you hummed softly under you breath, murmuring soft words of love and reassurance in his ear, “I’m sorry…I panicked.”
“You have nothing to be sorry for,” you whispered, “you’ve been through so much, Javier. Sometimes these things happen. But you have nothing to be sorry for, or amashed of. Yes?”
“Yes,” he agreed quietly as he wrapped his arms around you, “I love you. Con todo.”
“And I love you to the moon and to Saturn,” you murmured as you buried your face in his chest, “we’re okay.”
“We’re okay,” he echoed, “well, if it means anything, you’ve got some amazing decorations and a great costume idea.”
“I told you I was going all out this year,” you laughed, “its our first year here and I want to go all out.”
“That you did,” he agreed, “the real question is though, did you want to get the sink fixed.”
“Umm,” you admitted sheepishly, “perhaps I might need some help after all. Know any good, sexy, mustached plumbers?”
“Hmm,” he mused as he pressed a kiss to you, “I just might. Let me see what I can do.”
“Deal,” you agreed as you slowly stood up and offered him your hand, “in the meantime I’ll go and finish dinner. I even made your favorite for dessert. Well, yours and Lucia’s. You’ll have to play nice and share.”
“Anything for my girls,” he promised, his heart softening and lulling again as he realized that this was reality. It was his life and nothing, no more bad things, would come to it. Not to you, him, or Lucia. He deserved his own happy ending - and this was it.
“I love you, Javier.”
“And I you,” he agreed, “do me a favor?”
“Hmm?”
“Pick any shirt but the bloodied one.”
“Deal,” you promised, “anything for you, mi amor, Javicito.”

hi and also can you write this prompt 37 so youre just going to leave me here to die pair man without the face x mc thank you
Finally
A/n: Hi and thank you for your request. I have been waiting for this pairing, thank you! I hope you like it and please apologize the mistakes. Have a good day and stay healthy.💕
Prompt: “So you’re just going to leave me here to die alone?”
Words: 1,9k
Warnings: (Unfortunately, I am really bad when it comes to warnings, should anything be added, he will gladly tell me)
⚠️Mention of death. Use of weapons, blood.
-
"So you’re just going to leave me here to die alone?" choked the disgusting man lying at your feet. You really did, you shot the man who’s been making your life a living hell for months. Your life, your friends life, and all of Duskwood. The man who brought so much suffering and hatred upon you all.
Speechless, you stare at the gun in your hand, but you feel no remorse, no guilt. Honestly, you feel satisfaction. Because you didn’t shoot a man, you shot a monster. A disturbed monster that is free of any morality, any humanity.
"Yes, yes, I let you die alone, because you deserve nothing else! You attacked my family. And when you attack my family, you attack me, "you hiss with a mocking grin on your face.
You feel like you’re in a movie, the weather suits your situation. Light raindrops fall through the thick treetops around the forest. All around you you can hear ravens croaking that bring a gruesome mood. The flowers and trees look sad and let their heads hang. Further away stands a roe deer, frightened and on guard because of the loud bang as the bullet flew out of the gun. Well, and the most striking of course, the Bleeding Man. The Kidnapper. The Murderer. You snort bitterly and you get over the urge to want to kick him in his face. You had to shoot of him to defend yourself but if you kicked him then it would be another matter. You managed to stop him and everything you would do now wouldn’t make you any better than he is.
"Do you - don’t you want to take off my mask?" his hoarse voice pulls you out of your thoughts. He tries to straighten up his upper body a little by leaning on his left arm. "Stay lying down!" you growl and take a step back. You raise the gun and aim at his belly to protect yourself.
Luckily, he takes you seriously and immediately he sinks back to the ground and groans painfully from the fast movement.
"So? You have always been so curious, take off the mask," he demands and you can hear a little amusement.
"MC?" sounds a voice through the dense trees of the forest and attracts your attention. The others found you. When you made your way to the forest, you thought about informing them. You decided not to let them know until you reached the forest so that none of them could stop you. For whatever reason, you wanted to talk to the man alone first. Jessy sounded very angry on the phone and wanted to stop you from going into the woods alone. But you couldn’t listen to them, you were blind with anger and the need for revenge, and you were lucky because everything went well.
He’s on the ground, not you.
He was defeated, not you.
You won, not him.
You look back at him shaking your head, "No, I’m not gonna take that ugly sack off your head, you want to know why?" you don’t wait for his answer at all but continue talking directly. "Because you are nothing more than this ugly mask! Because you are nothing. Because I don’t care who you are! Your plan to get attention has worked out for a short time. But now, I don’t care who you are under this mask. You are disgusting and no longer relevant to this world".
"Uh outch, you hurt my feelings" he chuckles, pressing his hand on the bleeding part of his chest. "But, you played well. You have my appreciation, it was fun, a worthy opponent".
"You still think this is a game?" you spit at him with disgust.
"Yes, when you showed up, it became a fun game, before that it was almost boring. But thanks to you it really became a nice little pastime"
Your eyes narrow and you feel like you’re getting hot and cold.
You shouldn’t let him provoke you any further, not really listen to what he says, but your hatred of this monster was too great. Blinded by the rage, you kick some of the earth and the broken leaves from the ground on his damaged body .
"You’re dirt" you hiss, "Have fun dying" you give him another superior grin.
"MC where are you?" again you hear a loud voice roaring through the forest.
Without paying attention to the kidnapper again, you run in the direction from which the voice comes.
You run as fast as you can, full of adrenaline, full of joy, full of hate. So many mixed feelings rushing through a body and pounding in your ears. You’re running for your life, happy to be with your friends now.
But there is one feeling that stands out especially and drowns out everyone else. The feeling that he was finally stopped by your hand. You made the promise to stop him and you kept it. Whether he dies or not, he will never be able to hurt anyone again. And that’s all that matters.
After about 500 meters you see them all, the whole group, and additionally at least a dozen policemen with a dog squad. All worried and looking for you.
"I’m here!" you yell as loudly as you can, "here!"
Immediately, all heads turn in your direction. Jessy is the first one to run towards you. Breathlessly you fall into her arms and the first tears break out of you. Tears of joy and relief.
You know these feelings will be short-lived. Because no matter who the man is or what he did, you shot a living person. Once the adrenaline of the last 20 minutes disappears from your body, you will realize correctly what happened. And it won’t be easy to process. But the fact that he’s the man with no face will help you not feel entirely guilty.
But at this moment you cannot think about it, at the moment there is only reason to rejoice.
"Oh God MC, we were so worried about you!" Jessy sniffed at your ear.
"Oh, thank God you’re alive" you hear Richy next to you and feel him also laying his arms around you both.
The others also join your group embrace.
And so you stand here in the middle of the forest as you cry like a waterfall with the knowledge that is all good now.
You still hold the gun in your hand as you detach from each other.
A deep voice shouts, "Put the gun on the ground immediately, and move away".
Only now do you notice how the policemen’s weapons are directed at you for safety. The others quickly step away from you and obey the request of the cops.
Of course you also do what they say and put the gun on the floor to kick them to the cops. One of them takes the gun and removes the already empty magazine. Since you had no intention of shooting someone, you only had one bullet with you to save yourself when it was necessary. And it was necessary. Luckily you have at least a little idea how to shoot, even if your hit was more luck than reason. But it wasn’t very hard because the man without a face was pretty close to you when you pulled the gun and pulled the trigger without really thinking about it.
"All right, it’s not loaded," you assure.
And then you remember that maybe you should clarify that the raven man is still lying in the back of the forest, bleeding to death.
"The- the kidnapper is injured and out of action about 500 meters from here. He’s probably still alive, but he’s bleeding a lot. I had to defend myself and shoot him, but he’s gonna need help."
Four policemen set off without hesitation in the direction you showed them. One of the others reaches for his walkie- talkie and orders an ambulance.
"You shot him?" Richy asks in amazement.
"He attacked me, I couldn’t defend myself in a other way," you say.
"Never again, do you go into this forest alone! How do you get the idea to come here alone?" Jessy hisses, "Why don’t you tell us before? We would have accompanied you immediately".
"I had to do it, I heard the conversation from a policeman and Hannah, and I was afraid the officers would wait too long. So the best way, before he can escape, was to come here himself, and I wanted to talk to him before he is arrested. But then he wanted to attack me to escape. I’m sorry you had to worry about me." you look at your friends with a slight smile.
From further away you can hear sirens of the ambulance that was ordered.
"Do you think - do you think he’s dead?" Jessy asks carefully and pays attention to your reaction. She was afraid of how you’d react to that question.
"No, I’m pretty sure I can’t shoot that well. And honestly, I’d rather he rot in prison," you clench your hands into fists and tighten your jaw as his words come back into your head. 'A funny game'
"Let’s not think about it now, it’s over, we’ve done it," Cleo reassures you immediately.
"And we should talk to the police now, Hannah wants to meet her savior," Dan grins and winks at you.
"How is she?" you ask carefully.
"She has to stay in the hospital for the next few days, but she’s doing fine. Especially when we give her the message that it’s finally over," Richy looks proud at you.
Through the forest two paramedics come running towards you and at the same time they pull a stretcher behind them.
"Where do we have to go?" asks one of the helpers and at the same time you point in the right direction.
All but Dan, he’s pointing in the wrong direction, pretending there’s nothing going on. You held back a small grin and watched as the paramedics continued their way.
"Dan" hisses Jessy and has herself on her lips in a small smile.
"What? I saw about the bird in the hospital, I wouldn’t miss him," he shrugs.
"None of us would miss him," Cleo agrees.
During your conversation, some of the policemen had left and only Alan was standing a little off and waiting for your quiet moment.
"So sorry to interrupt you but we have to ask MC some questions before you can go to Hannah" slowly he came up to your group.
"Will MC get into trouble now? So, because of the gun and because she shot?" asks Jessy and clings afraid to your arm.
Yes, and then..the realization hits you like a punch.
You didn’t even think about, that you shouldn’t have that gun. And of course shooting people wasn’t legal either, but you had to defend yourself, who knows what else he would have done to you.
"Don’t worry, we’ll sort this out, I’ll make sure MC isn’t to blame. I’m standing on your side" he assures us, that we can do this together and smiles kindly.
Over time you have joined with him and found out some more details. To have Alan on your side, will become a really important plus point, in the course of time.
Relief spreads within you and you nod to him gratefully.
And as if the world had waited only for this moment, just now, the sun breaks through the treetops and shines directly on your small group.
The unpleasantly croaking ravens fall silent and are replaced by the singing of lovely birds.
The light wind warms up and the clouds fly by and leave a clear blue sky. The smell of rain and muddy forest soil is replaced by the fresh smell of flowers and bushes. Now.. now it’s finally gonna be okay.

In The Dress Your Husband Hates
Pairing: Frank Iero x Reader
Genre: Hurt/Comfort
Summary: Written for Gothtober 2020, Day 12. Prompt: “Dark Bride”.
You’re trying on wedding dresses, and you know that you’re supposed to be excited, about your upcoming nuptials. But, the dark truth is, that you don’t love the man, you’re expected to marry. Frank finds you outside the bridal shop, in tears. You’ve never seen him before in your life - but, before you know it, you find yourself, telling him all your troubles.
You stood in front of the fitting room mirror, staring at yourself, in the poofy white dress, and gauzy veil. It wasn’t an ugly dress, by any means. The price tag that clung to the collar, had a well-known designer’s name on it, in gaudy letters. A normal bride would feel lucky, that her generous future mother-in-law, had agreed to buy it for her.
“You look pretty as a peach in that gown, Y/N,” the older woman smiled at you. “I can’t wait for my son, to see you walk down the aisle in it.”
You arranged your facial features into a smile, knowing that this was what Mrs. R. wanted to see. But, even though you knew you should be happy, something about all this, still didn’t feel quite right.
“Ma’am?” interrupted a bridal shop employee, as she walked past. “You look lovely, but, um, your dress isn’t zipped up all the way in the back.”
“Oh,” you blushed. “Um, yeah, I couldn’t get it all the way up, when I was putting it on.”
“Here, let me help with you that,” Mrs. R. offered. You flinched, when her matronly fingers grazed your skin. She tugged at your zipper.
“Well, now, it just won’t budge,” she frowned. “Let me try again.”
“Don’t pull so hard,” you hissed. “You’re going to break it.”
“May I try?” the shopkeeper offered. You didn’t really care for the thought of more people touching you, but you acquiesced.
“...Oh,” the shopkeeper pursed her lips, struggling to find the polite words, for what she wanted to say. “Ma’am, it seems that you’re too, um….”
“Yeah, I know, I'm too fat for the dress,” you snapped, feeling humiliated. “There’s no way you can squeeze my body into this thing, so just...get it off me, okay?”
“Do y’all carry this dress, in a size up?” Mrs. R. asked discreetly.
“No,” the shop girl shook her head, throwing you a pitying look. “I’m afraid that’s the biggest size we have.”
“Oh, my,” Mrs. R tutted. “Y/N, I didn’t realize that you had gotten so…..large.”
I look like shit, you thought, cheeks burning. How am I supposed to stand at an altar, in front of all my friends and family, when I know I look this shitty?
“Maybe you can try a specialty store,” the girl suggested. “For, y’know….bigger women?”
“Fuck that,” you barked.
“Watch your language!” the older woman hissed.
“No!” you cried, hot tears beginning to well up in your eyes. “I...I can’t do this right now!”
“What do you mean, you can’t?” Mrs. R. demanded. “I take you dress shopping, when your own mother doesn’t want a damn thing to do with your wedding, and this is how you repay me? By throwing a hissy fit in the store?”
“I just...can’t, okay?!” you insisted, feeling overwhelmed. The tears began to stream down your cheeks.
I have to get out of here, you thought, pushing past her.
“Y/N!” she called after you, as you ran out the door. “Where do you think you’re going?!”
You didn’t know - but you didn’t intend to slow down.
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
You ran across the street, dodging cars that swerved and honked at you. On the other side of the street, you found a small, public park. You started running down the winding hiking trail, but you tripped on your train, and tumbled to the ground.
“Ow!” you cried. “Goddamnit!”
You had skinned your elbows when you fell, and the white tulle of your hemline had turned to muddy brown. What the hell am I doing?
You sat down on a park bench, burying your head in your hands, as you wept. What the hell am I doing with my life, in general?
You looked up, when you heard a jingling sound. A large, brown dog stood in front of you, sniffing you curiously.
“Oh, h-hey,” you said shakily, extending your hand, for the dog to sniff. “Where’d you come from, girl?”
The dog licked your hand, as if she was trying to comfort you. It made you stop crying, if only for a moment.
“Lois!” cried an unfamiliar voice, and you watched, as a short, dark-haired man came running over. “You can’t run away from me like that, when we’re in public!”
“Oh, is this your dog?” you realized, gazing up at him. His short-sleeved shirt revealed intricate tattoos on his arms.
“Yeah, I’m sorry, she escaped from her leash,” the man explained, chuckling. His laughter died on his lips, as he took in the tears that stained your face. “Uh….hey, are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” you lied, wiping your tears on the back of your hand.
“Here, take this,” the man offered, pulling a tissue from his pocket. You took it, gratefully, and began dabbing at your eyes.
“I’m Frank,” the man introduced himself. “And this is my dog, Lois.”
“I’m Y/N,” you replied. “Sorry, did you want to sit down, so you can put Lois’ leash back on her?”
“Yeah, thanks,” Frank nodded, and you scooched over on the bench, to make room for him. He took a red leash out of his pocket, and hooked it onto Lois’ collar.
Lois turned to you again. You patted her head, and scratched behind her ears. She gave your hand another appreciative lick.
“So,” Frank asked curiously, “is there a reason that you’re wearing a wedding dress?”
“Yeah, I was just at Betsy’s Bridal, across the street,” you explained. “I was supposed to be picking out a dress, to wear on my special day.”
“Oh, congrats on your upcoming marriage,” Frank said politely. “Who’s the lucky guy?”
“His name’s Ronnie,” you replied.
“How long have you and Ronnie been together?” Frank asked.
“Eight months,” you told him, reddening.
“Eight months?” Frank repeated, incredulous. “And you guys are already getting engaged?!”
“.....I’m three months pregnant,” you explained, shame-faced.
“.....Oh.” For a moment, this revelation rendered Frank speechless. In the awkward silence that followed, the only sound was Lois’ wagging tail hitting the dirt, as you petted her some more.
“So,” he said bluntly, after a moment, “it’s a shotgun wedding?”
“N-No!” you denied. “I mean, Ronnie’s mom is very Christian, and she was the one who insisted that the child can’t be born out of wedlock. But...Ronnie agreed that this was the right thing to do. She didn’t have to put a gun to his head.”
At least, not literally, you thought darkly. He’d freaked out, at first, but Mrs. R had told him that a baby needed a stable household, with a mother, and a father. And besides - people would talk.
“Do you think he’s gonna be a good dad?” Frank asked seriously.
“I guess,” you shrugged. “I mean, he could have ditched me. But, he decided that he wanted to be in the child’s life.”
“Pfft,” Frank scoffed. “Don’t give the guy a gold medal, for doing the bare minimum.”
“Hey!” you protested. “You’ve never even met him, what do you know?”
“Yeah, I guess you’re right,” Frank shrugged. “I’m just a stranger, so you can take my opinions with a grain of salt. But, as far as I’m concerned….yeah, there’s a lot of deadbeat dads out there. But, just because you didn’t immediately abandon your kid, doesn’t automatically make you husband material.”
“Ronnie’s a great guy,” you insisted. “I think he’ll be supportive, when the baby comes.”
“You think?” Frank questioned, raising an eyebrow.
“Well..,” you hesitated. “To be honest, I haven’t seen much of him lately. He’s been out at the bar, with his friends, a lot.”
“You serious?” Frank frowned.
“Yeah,” you nodded. “He said that once the baby is born, he’ll be forced to spend a lot of time at home, helping me with childcare stuff. So, for now, he wants to enjoy going out with his buddies, while he still can.”
“If I had a pregnant girlfriend,” Frank sighed, “I wouldn’t ditch her, for my boys. I’d want to be with her, every second that I could, so I could make sure that she, and the baby, were doing okay.”
That sounded nice….but it had nothing to do, with your reality.
“I found out the other day, that it’s a boy,” you revealed. The excitement that should have been in your voice, was absent. “Ronnie, says he wants to name him, Ronald Junior.”
“Is that what you want?” Frank wondered.
“I…..I don’t even know, if I want this baby at all,” you confessed, dissolving into tears again.
“Hey, ssh, it’s okay,” Frank soothed, putting an arm around you. You cried into his shoulder.
“Why….why am I even telling you any of this?!” you wondered, as your body became wracked with sobs again. “I just met you! I don’t know anything about you! There’s no reason for me to just give you my whole life story like this!”
Were the pregnancy hormones, driving you insane?
“People say that I’m a really good listener,” Frank shrugged. “Or, maybe you’ve been needing to get this stuff off your chest for a while - and it doesn’t really matter, who you say it to.”
“I don’t have anyone I can talk to,” you admitted, sniffling. “My mom says she won’t even go to my wedding, because she can’t stand Ronnie. And my friends…..well, they all think I should be happy about this. I’m gonna have a husband who works hard to support me, and a son, and a house with a white picket fence….that’s the dream, isn't it?”
“It doesn’t sound like it’s your dream,” Frank said softly. “Not if thinking about that future, makes you want to run away, and cry.”
You didn’t even really know him, and yet you clung to him, as he let you cry yourself out, against his sleeve. He was right - you really had needed this, for a while.
“I’m an outside observer,” Frank admitted. “I don’t know Ronnie, or his mom. I don’t even really know you. But, that also means that I don’t have any biased feelings. Looking at it, from the outside in....it looks like, to me, you don’t really want to go through with this wedding.”
“But….what will happen, if I don’t?” you hesitated. “I’ll be an unwed mother, and he’ll just be my baby-daddy….everybody will think I’m trash.”
“I was raised by a single mother,” Frank revealed. “She’s the most amazing person I know. I don’t think that it’s trashy at all.”
“But....,” you wept, “If I don’t take Ronnie’s ring, who else will ever want me? The pregnancy is already making me too chubby, to fit in my dress properly. By the time I’m due, I’m going to look even more disgusting.”
“You don’t look disgusting,” Frank said, his eyes staring into yours. “Y/N…..you’re beautiful.”
“Y-you’re just saying that,” you blushed.
“I’m not,” Frank shook his head. “When I saw this gorgeous woman, in this strange dress, sitting here, crying…..I was drawn to you. I wanted to take you into my arms, immediately, to make your tears stop.”
This whole situation is insane, you thought, unsure whether to laugh, or cry. Instead, you did neither. You hugged him, impulsively. He smelled like cigarette smoke, and dog treats.
He returned the impromptu hug, squeezing you tight.
“I won’t promise, to be your son’s dad, or anything,” Frank whispered, his breath against your ear. “Because he has a dad - but, you can co-parent with Ronnie, without being in a romantic relationship with him. If you don’t love him, Y/N, don’t promise the rest of your life to him. I just met you today, so I’m not gonna offer you a lifetime. But, I sure as hell, would love to offer you dinner, and a movie, sometime.”
You stared at him, heart racing. “You’re asking me out?”
“We can just see where it goes,” Frank stammered, cheeks burning. “I just….I get so mad, hearing about how this Ronnie guy is so bad to you. It makes me want to show you that you can be treated better.”
“I don’t want to marry Ronnie,” you decided. “I think….I’ve known that I didn’t want to, for a while. Thank you, Frank for helping me realize that. I just don’t know what’s gonna happen from here. His mom….she’ll never forgive me.”
“Screw her,” Frank said defiantly.
“But, what I do know,” you smiled, “is  that I would love to go to dinner with you.”
“It’s a date,” Frank beamed, and took your hand in his. The small touch, of his calloused fingertips, thrilled you more, than anything Ronnie had done to you, in months.
“....I have to tell him that I’m breaking the engagement, before I do anything else,” you frowned. “I need go about this the right way. But, there’s going to be…..so much backlash, you have no idea.”
“If anyone tries to judge you, for the decision you’re making,” Frank offered, “I’ll sic Lois on ‘em. She can eat them for breakfast.”
You laughed at this.
“Wow,” Frank gaped.
“Wow, what?”
“That’s the first time I’ve seen you smile, since I sat down on this bench,” Frank explained. “Your smile makes you even more gorgeous.”
His words made you smile even wider - even though your marriage was ending before it began, his warm hand in yours, made you feel, as if everything was going to be okay, after all.

SHOW: Teen wolf
CHAPTER TWO: “we are family”
EPISODE: 3x02 “chaos rising”
Tumblr media
Sleep is a precious thing, you need sleep, without it you make mistakes, you mess up. You get delirious and screw up. Kaitlin always loved sleep, everyone knew that, not to wake her when she was tired, but dogs...dogs don't understand that. That leads us to now, The last things Kaitlin remembered was watching an episode of some trashy show before falling asleep, and now, Levi, her two year old Labrador cried at her feet
Kaitlin opened her eyes, seeing the big dog sat at her door, his head tilted and whines coming from him "seriously" she whispered, he tilted his head to the other side "can you not just...leave me alone" he whined again, walking over to her and sniffing her face. Kaitlin cringed "okay, okay, you win"
She slowly threw the nice and warm covers off of her, her feet hitting the cold ground, sending shivers up her back, she sits there for a second, contemplating her life. She looks to her dog again, who's now panting in excitement, she groans, getting up and making her way down the stairs, before she can make her way down fully, Levi comes booting it past her and down the stairs, stopping at the door and sitting, Sighing she descends the remainder of stairs grabbing her keys and unlocking the front door and opening it
The big dog speeds out the door and Kaitlin laughs as he jumps around the fenced off garden, when Levi was a little pup, back in Boston, he'd find any and every way he could to escape their home, Kaitlin had many memories of running after the fast dog. So when they moved home, they made sure to get a well fenced garden.
The brunette watches Levi for a few more seconds before deciding to check the time, she moves to the kitchen, it was light out so it had to be early, she switched on the light, making things slightly more seeable, her glasses and contacts were upstairs so it was a little hard, she glanced at the clock 5:40.
It was literally 20 minutes before her alarm went off and an hour before kodins, might aswell make breakfast. She gathered her ingredients, deciding on bacon and toast for breakfast, turning on the hub and grabbing a pan. Midway through her cooking, a shiver sends down her spine, a familiar feeling in her stomach. She whirls around quickly, unsurprisingly seeing the dark figure lurk in the shadow of the kitchen, she was expecting him, but that didn't stop her heart from racing.
Tensely, she glares, turning back to her food, in an attempt to ignore the dark man. "Nice little place you've gotten yourself here" his voice is low, lower than before, Kaitlin stays quiet, focusing on her food.
"You can't ignore me forever Katie" he slowly walks into the kitchen more, quietly pulling out a chair and sitting. Kaitlin's teeth grit together at the name.
"I've done a pretty good job for what? Three years now?" She doesn't turn to look at him, her tone is sarcastic. He laughs, the sound scares Kaitlin slightly.
"That's not entirely true now is it, you aren't surprised at all to see me. You were expecting me" The redhead stops what she's doing, quickly whipping around and glaring her most cold glare
"What do you want" she gets to the point, the man faking a frown.
"What? I can't come and visit my daughter?" Kaitlin laughs turning back to her bacon and taking it off the pan and putting on a plate.
"You only ever visit me when you want something, so either tell me or get the hell out of my house" she grabs the toast, putting it on the plate and sitting opposite him.
"Ah you got me" He jokes, Kaitlin rolls her eyes, and butters her toast
"Scott McCall" is all he needs to say for Kaitlin to freeze, she slowly looks up to make eye contact with her father.
"What about him?"
"He's quite the hero I hear. People tell me he's the man to beat" his tone is evil, as usual. Kaitlin doesn't let her guard down. Her glare as cold as ice. "I've no idea what you're talking about"
"Does he know about you?" He takes an apple nonchalantly from the fruit bowl, the question silencing Kaitlin
"You know, your past, what you are?" He pushes leaning over the table slightly, Kaitlin doesn't break eye contact, her heart hammering in her chest
"What you've done"
"I haven't done anything" she defends, she stopped eating now, her fork and knife still in her hands
"Oh but you did, don't you remember? When Tyler died" Kaitlin slams her hands down on the table, the plate clattering against the knife and fork
"You weren't there, you don't know anything, now what do you want because your testing my patience" her hands are now in fists as she glares at her father.
"Be careful of this boy, he's made enemies, more than he knows, and they are dangerous" he warns. He stands from the table, putting the chair back in its place
"Why are you telling me this?" Her blood was boiling
"You’re my daughter, whether you or I like it or not we are family" He darkly says before a dark cloud forms over him and he vanishes
Kaitlin relaxes, her food now cold she tosses a slice of bacon to Levi and throws away her toast
"What a waste" she mutters before heading upstairs to get ready for school
***
A little while later and Kaitlin was sat on her couch, she usually got up early for school but never this early so she didn't really know what to do with herself. She watched the screen as an episode of greys anatomy played.
Her phone chimed with a text, Lydia Martins name lighting her screen, the strawberry blonde offering to give Kaitlin a ride to school, saying she needed to talk to her. The redhead sent a quick reply, moving off the couch and walking into the kitchen where her mother and brother sat at the table
"I'm not giving you a ride today, Lydia's picking me up" Kodin looked at his sister, taking a drink of his orange juice as he swallows his toast "I'm taking your car then"
"Why can't you take your own?" Kaitlin shoves her phone into her pocket, glaring slightly at her brother, who shrugs "well, yours is cleaner" Kaitlin stares at the boy, contemplating. She gives in, grabbing her keys and throwing them at Kodin.
"Don't damage my car" she warns before leaving the room, soon hearing the honk of Lydia's car, bidding a quick goodbye to her mother she grabs her bag and is out the door. She smiles at Lydia before hopping in the car "hey"
"Morning, what was so..." she's cut off when Lydia hands her a cup of coffee, Kaitlin smiles, thanking her and taking a sip, Lydia starts the car and pulls out of the driveway.
"I know you know" Lydia cryptically states, Kaitlin looking at her curiously "about what?" The redhead placed the coffee in the cup holder.
"About the supernatural, about Scott" Kaitlin freezes, her eyes going wide and glancing at Lydia
"What?" Kaitlin questions, trying to play it cool. "Huh, supernatural that...that's funny" panic sets in Kaitlin's mind, trying to force a fake laugh which Lydia doesn't buy.
"Yeah, okay lets just skip that...I could tell" Lydia glances between Kaitlin and the road "you wanna know how I know? Because you're supernatural too"
Kaitlin's lost for words, her eyes never leaving Lydia as the panic starts to fade, she's not afraid of her friends knowing, it's just how they find out. She wanted to soften the blow, it scared her really, she cared about them and she didn't want them feel any different about her. She lets put a sigh, looking ahead at the road.
"Witch, I'm a witch" the words fell nonchalantly out of her mouth, Lydia does a double take. "A witch? Huh, that's...new" Kaitlin laughs lightly.
"Yeah, I guess they're uncommon nowadays" Kaitlin went on to explain her knowledge of the pack and how she gained it, listing the things her uncle deaton has updated her on before she came back
She knew everything that he did, the kanima being Jackson, Peter Hale biting Scott and Lydia, Alison being a hunter and her grandfather being a psychopath. All of it
It surprised her really, Lydia was so calm about it, she didn't freak out, didn't get mad that Kaitlin hadn't told her. The aura that surrounded the girl was unfamiliar to Kaitlin. She'd learned how to read auras since she learned of her magic. Different colors for different species. Werewolves depended on the color of their eyes. Witches were purple. Humans were green. So on. But Lydia radiated a pink aura, one Kaitlin hadn't seen before.
"Oh yeah, have you any idea what this could be?" Lydia holds out her arm, keeping her eyes on the road
On her arm is a fresh bruise, there's an odd shape to it. Kaitlin gently takes Lydia's arm
"Uh, a bruise?" She glances at the strawberry blonde who playfully rolls her eyes
"Yeah no shit, Alison has one the exact same shape, she thinks it's like some sort of symbol" she states, her eyes never leaving the road
"Huh, can I take a picture of it?" Lydia nods and Kaitlin pulls out her phone, quickly snapping a photo of the bruise
"I'll run it by my mom" she states
"When are you gonna tell the guys about that?" Lydia starts, Kaitlin turns to look out the window of Lydia's car as they pull into beacon hills high schools parking lot
"I don't know, soon"
***
Lydia and Kaitlin strolled together before class, chatting quietly about Kaitlin's antics during her time in Boston. Football games, school dances, swim meets and everything in between. While Lydia went into more detail of the packs antics and stories.
"Okay, but what would a pack of alphas want with Erica and boyd?" Kaitlin questions lydia, who was explaining to her their recent predicament
"I don't know, maybe their recruiting" unbeknownst to the pair Scott and Stiles walks past them, Scott stops in his tracks staring at Kaitlin as she walks past, seeing something he didn't before
"Scott?" Stiles takes him out of his daze
"You okay?" Stiles eyes him curiously, glancing at Kaitlin. Scott nods his head still slightly dazed "Yeah, sorry"
***
Lydia, Alison and Kaitlin sat in the library, Alison drawing the symbol that was bruised in her skin on a piece of paper, a laptop sat on the table, some research the huntress had done lifting up the screen.
Lydia stares ahead, Two identical twins stood at a bookshelf with another brunette, the strawberry blonde had her eye on one of the twins. "I want one"
The two friends follow Lydia's gaze.
"Which one?" Alison questions, an adorable smiles across her lips, Lydia's face drops
"The straight one obviously" Alison glances back at the twins, Ethan looking at Danny wistfully, Lydia drinks from her coffee cup.
Kaitlin's chuckles as she glances at the boys, the brunette sticking out to her, she shakes the feeling off, glancing at Alison's computer, a thought comes to mind. She checks around before pulling a book out of her bag
The book was given to her by her mother, it was enchanted to only open to her, she flips through it finding the thing she was looking for
"What if it's not a symbol?" She questions Alison, who turns her gaze to the brunette and the book in her hands
"What if it's actually a logo?" Alison eyes the book questionably, noticing a few of Kaitlin's spells
"Wait, is that?" Kaitlin smiles at the brunette "what are you?"
"Libra" Kaitlin looks up to digest her theory to Lydia but she's vanished
Kaitlin's and Alison turn to the twins only to see Lydia making a move on Aiden. The two girls look to each other, Kaitlin bursts laughing, Alison joining after a second.
***
Kaitlin Jones was originally from beacon hills, she grew up in the small town. Her family and friends were there, it was her home. A place she'd never forget for as long as she'd live, no matter where she'd end up.
One place and person she hadn't gotten the chance to visit since she'd been back was her uncle Deaton at the animal clinic. Deaton was the brother of her mother, it didn't seem like it, of course because her mother was adopted into Alan's family, his mother was a friend of Natalie's biological mother who passed when she was young.
So when deaton called her to ask if she could come to the clinic because he needed her help with Isaac, Kaitlin jumps into her car and makes her way to the clinic
Her stomach turned and twisted in knots, nerves filled her. She knew what she was walking into, Scott and Stiles would definitely be there, and she knew what Deaton needed her to do, it would be outing her powers to them. She had texted Kodin, giving him the heads up and warning him to talk to the boys later today, knowing they'd want answers from both twins.
Obviously she would have to have this conversation with the two boys sooner or later but she was nervous for their reactions. What if they hated her for not telling them? She knew she was over reacting but she couldn't help it.
Shaking off her anxiety she pulls into the parking lot of the animal clinic and stops the car. She takes a second to herself before jumping out of the car and heading into the clinic
Inside the animal clinic, Deaton, Derek, Scott and Stiles attempted to prep Isaac for the ice bath he'd soon be submerged in.
"How slow does his heart rate need to be?" Scott worryingly questions.
"Very slow"
"Okay, well, How slow is very slow?" Derek crouches beside the tub which was now filled to the brim with water and ice
"Nearly dead" deaton nonchalantly replies, issac touches the water, immediately retracting his hand, hissing
"It's safe though, right?" He nervously questions. Deaton hesitates, just as he's about to reply the bell from the door chimes, the veterinarian smiles
"Not necessarily, but that's why she's here" he leaves the room. The three werewolves and Stiles look to each other curiously.
When Kaitlin Jones walks into the room, Scott and Stiles stare at the girl in shock, Derek and Isaac grow confused, not knowing the girl. When she sees the four her smiles fades, a shy expression takes over her face
"Hey"
"So she's gonna help with what exactly?" Issac questions as he eyes the small girl
"Kaitlin was born from a long line of witches" Kaitlin looks to her shoes, not wanting to see her friends reactions
"Oh wow" Stiles mumbles, he looks to Kaitlin sadly, she looks up meeting his eyes but quickly looks away
Scott is left speechless, his gaze flickering back and forth between Kaitlin and Deaton, Kaitlin steps forward gently grabbing Scott wrist and tugging him away from the rest
"I promise after this is done I will explain everything, okay?" His eyes soften and he grabs the girls hand, nodding and giving it a light squeeze
"Okay"
Kaitlin smiles, moving back to stand beside the tub of ice, she gives issac a reassuring smile, he returns the gesture. She remembered Isaac vaguely from her childhood, she hadn't talked to him much, but she knew of him.
"If anything goes wrong, Kaitlin will be here to pull you out" Deaton reassures him. A rubber snapping sound is heard, all heads turn to Stiles who's wearing a grin as he looks at his arm length glove with a grin
The boy in plaid notices everyone looking at him "what?" Derek gives him a glare, Stiles sighing before he takes off the glove, Issac sighs before standing up
"Look, if it feels to risky, you don't have to do this." The alpha assures, straightening his arms on the rim of the tub, Scott nods in agreement
Issac looks to Kaitlin, who stood on the other side of the tub "you know what your doing?"
Kaitlin's smirks "you'll be fine, Issac, I've been doing it for years" Issac looks to the girl with weary eyes before taking off his shirt and exhaling. He steps into the tub, the group watching him closely, as he attempts to sit in the cold bathtub.
Scott and Derek glance at each other, placing their hands on Isaac's shoulders and pushing him under the water
For a few moments it was fine, but after not to long Issacs true form broke free, jolting up from the water, his eyes a bright yellow and his fangs beard.
"Get him back under" deaton instructed, Stiles was now attempting to keep the werewolf submerged.
But Isaac didn't want to co-operate, he trashed in the water, the two werewolves struggled to keep him in the water as he drenched them.
"Hold him" Kaitlin interjected, Rowling up the sleeves of her jumper
"Don't you think we're trying!" Derek snapped. Kaitlin rolls her eyes before she moves forward, slightly pushing Scott and Derek out of the way, there hands still holding Isaac
The brunette hovers her hand over issacs head, calming him. Not moments later he relaxed and slowly moved to the surface of the water with his eyes open.
"Remember, only Kaitlin talks, too many voices will confuse him and draw him out" deaton holds up a finger, his voice soft. After the three boys nod, he gestures for Kaitlin to start
"Issac? Can you hear me?" Her voice is kind and soft
"Yes, I can hear you" the beta replies after a moment of silence
"It's Kaitlin, I don't know if you remember me, but is it okay if I ask you a few questions?"  Kaitlin continued, she was calm, like she'd done it before.
"Yes"
Kaitlin glances at deaton, the thunder outside getting worse "I want to ask you about the night you found Erica and Boyd "
"I want you to remember it for me in as vivid detail as possible, like your actually there" she tried her best to keep a steady voice, knowing one wrong word could send the beta into a panic
"I-I don't wanna do that" He was getting scared now, repeating "I don't wanna go that"
"Issac it's all right just relax" Kaitlin glances at Scott, his eyes are on her and he's worried "they're just memories, you can't be hurt by a memories, remember I told you you'll be fine"
"I don't wanna do that"
"Your okay"
"I don't wanna do that"
"Relax" Kaitlin moves her hand around Isaac's, calming him
"Great" Stiles keeps his eyes on the brunette, occasionally glancing at Isaac wearily, Derek takes a glance at Kaitlin, skepticism in his eyes
"Okay, lets go back to that night, to the place you found Erica and Boyd" Kaitlin's head starts to pound, she blinks in an attempt to rush the pain away, continuing her talk with Isaac.
"Can you tell me what you see? Is there some sort of building? A house?"
"It's not a house. It's stone" Isaac's voice is deep and has a cold edge to it, he takes a breath
"I think marble" Kaitlin smiles at the cold boy "that's perfect"
"Can you give me any other descriptors?" She questions, trying not to push him to hard
"It's dusty, so empty" he slowly explains
"Like an abandoned building?"
The lights begin to flicker, Kaitlin's headache worsening, the four men in the room glancing around them and then to Kaitlin
"Issac" Kaitlin's voice is forced and strained, Scott looking at her with worrying eyes
"Someone's here" Issac moves around slightly in the water, he reaches his hand out and grabs Scott's forearm
"Issac, it's okay, relax" Kaitlin tries to reassure the beta
"No, no, no, no. They see me, they see me" Issac screams, thrashing around in the water. Scott and Derek attempt at keeping Issac in the tub of water, him screaming. Stiles looks to Kaitlin, seeing the pain in her eyes
"There just memories, you can't be hurt by memories. Just relax" she reassures him, he keeps a firm grip on Scott's arm as he relaxes
"Good, that's great issac" Kaitlin's headache eases, but she shuts her eyes in pain, Stiles grabs her free wrist gently
She looks at him, he gives her a worried look. She forcefully smiles at him reassuringly
"Now, Isaac can you tell us what you see? Tell us everything" Isaac opens his eyes, his natural blue taking over. "I hear him"
"He's talking about the full moon, about being out of control when the moon rises"
"Is he talking to Erica?" Kaitlins headache is faint now.
"I think so, I can't...I can't see her. I can't see either of them" his lips trembled from the cold "Can you hear anything else?"
Issac has stopped resisting, but the lights flickered. Kaitlin's headache slightly returning
"They're worried, worried what they'll do during the moon, what they're gonna do to each other" The thunder rubbles from outside, Kaitlin's head feels like someone drilling into it now, the tension of the calming spell getting to her head.
"If they're locked in together on the full moon, they're gonna tear each other apart." Derek whispers to Scott who nods in agreement
"Isaac, we need to find them right now" Kaitlin restarts "can you see them?"
"No"
"Do you know what kind of room it is? Is there any kind of a marker? A number on a door?"
The beta jumps from the tub, sitting upright, Kaitlin's headache worsens, the lights flickering
"They're here" Isaac whispers, Stiles looks around the room confused and a tad bit scared
"They're here, They're here"  he slowly moves lower into the tub, he starts to panic "No They're here"
"They see me. They found me. They're here!" Kaitlins head is throbbing, she moves her hand to her forehead, rubbing it roughly
"This isn't working, Isaac, where are you?" Derek intervenes, yelling at his beta.
Everyone looks to Derek, Deaton beginning to argue with him, Kaitlin's vision goes blurry
"Tell me where you are!"
"I can't see!"
"You're going to confuse him" deaton calmly states "tell me where you are"
"He could go into shock Derek" Kaitlin painfully states to the werewolf
"Derek let him go!"
"Isaac where are you what did you see!" Derek ignores Scott's protests, yelling at Isaac more
"It's a vault, it's a bank vault!"
One last clap of thunder is heard, Kaitlin gets light headed, falling backward as Issac jumps forward from the tub. Stiles moves to catch Kaitlin, the brunette coming in and out of consciousness
"I saw it, I saw the name" he moves to jump out of the tub, Scott takes his eyes off Kaitlin when Stiles reassures him and moves to help Isaac
"It's uh, beacon hills first national bank" he shivers as he's wrapped in a towel
Stiles lowers Kaitlin to the ground, gently holding her head beside him, she Sobers up a bit, looking at the boy drowsily
The others in the room watch Isaac as he explain the bank that Boyd and Erica were being held
"What?"
"You don't remember what you said do you?" Scott questions him "no"
Isaac looks at the pair that sat in the ground
"You said when they captured you that they dragged you into a room and that there was a body in it." Stiles explains to Isaac, keeping a firm grip on Kaitlin
"What body?"Isaac looks around curiously
"Erica" Kaitlin drowsily buts in, slowly moving her head to look at him
"You said it was Erica"
