At first when he met you he was confused. A girl? In NRC? Eh, no matter, you'll just be a henchmen in the end anyways.

Or so he thought.

You where just so.. sweet??? So patient with him, and you tried so hard to get him into NRC and out of the janitor title. Plus, when you two went into Ramshackle, you let him have the more clean side of the bed or some of the food you had.

It was after this that he started seeing you as more than a henchman and more of a friend a lot sooner. You took great care of him, plus you had such an angelic voice! He loves ur lullabies.

He has 100% called you 'Mom' on accident, and Ace and Deuce have never let him live it down (Even though they lowkey have called you mom too lol)

He absolutely loves it when you pet him, I headcanon his fire ears burn anyone who touches them unless he's comfortable with them. So only you're aloud to pet him. He knows you'll be gentle <3

Okay, but in all seriousness, he's never had a Mama before, so you mean so much to him. Probably more than he does in the game :(

He snuggles against you when you guys sleep, and definitely purrs.

He also lets you carry him around or pick him up around NRC so he can send a warning to the boys who wanna mess with his mother henchmen.

Whenever a boy harasses you around grim, he either bites their ankles or burns them with his fire (not enough to kill them, obviously) but enough to give them nightmares. The students he bit probably had to get a rabies shot.

He loves it when you cook for him. He might even prefer it over tuna!

Probably not, but its a close second!!

Even if you suck at cooking, his henchmen made it for him, so he'll eat it all.

But he also lets you bathe him if he doesn't feel like licking himself clean. Bubble baths with Mom- I MEAN HIS FAVORITE HENCHMEN (lol I meant mom.)

He's probably a LOT more cooperative with you as well and doesn't run away as often, so he doesn't worry or disappoint you :(

The classes you can't participate in, he tries a little harder in for both of you. Mostly for you, but he won't admit it. And he only tries a LITTLE harder.

When he hurt you in book 5-6, he was so mad at himself that he cried a little about it because he hurt his only caring and loving figure in his life. And even after that, you go after him and rescue him, and comfort him??? He never wants to hurt you again, and even after you reassure him and tell him you love him all the same in your sweet and gentle voice, he still beats himself up over it :(

But in the end, you love him like a son, and he loves you like a mom. And still gets teased about it by Ace and Deuce (until they also accidentally call you mom and their whole career is ended by grim)

Yuuji cooking for you

Just a little something I had to write after seeing the new episode! Coming home to Yuuji, who is cooking for you and being happy and safe, is such a dream to me!!

Pairing: Yuuji x Reader (gender-neutral) Genre: fluff Word Count: 500 Warnings: None, just fluff and kissing. All characters are of age. Minors don't interact.

The delicious smell of a homemade meal wafts through the apartment when you get home. You smile as you kick off your shoes and quickly walk over to the kitchen, already knowing what sight will greet you.

And, of course, you are right. Yuuji is standing at the stove with his broad back to you, stirring a large pot. The sleeves of his hoodie are pushed up to reveal his muscular tan forearms. The red apron you got him for his birthday two years ago is fastened with a sloppy bow at the back of his neck, right beneath his undercut.

You walk up behind your boyfriend and wrap your arms around him, hugging him tightly from behind, nuzzling your face against his muscular back, breathing in deeply to inhale the scent of home: The traces of laundry detergent on Yuuji's hoodie, his cologne, his cherry blossom hairspray, the smell of his homemade food clinging to his clothes. That warm scent that smells like love incarnate to you.

You can hear the smile in your voice when you ask,

"What are you cooking, baby?"

Yuuji chuckles, turning his head to smile at you, giving you a chance to get on your tip toes and press a quick but gentle kiss to his smiling lips.

Warm golden eyes sparkle happily at you when your boyfriend answers,

"I saw something super yummy on the Food Channel earlier today and wanted to try it. It'll be ready in a few minutes."

"It smells delicious! I can't wait to try it!"

Yuuji laughs, and his left hand comes to rest atop yours, where you caress his abs through his hoodie. He gives it a gentle squeeze before he interlaces his fingers with yours while his other hand keeps stirring the pot.

You sigh happily as you snuggle against him. You love those sweet domestic moments with Yuuji. Coming home to him, hugging him while he is cooking, and afterward eating together.

Sometimes right there in the kitchen, leaning against the counter and opening your mouth to let Yuuji feed you spoonfuls of the delicious meal he prepared. Sometimes at the dinner table, while the two of you talk about your day and the plans for the rest of the week. Sometimes on the couch while leaning on each other and watching a movie in comfortable silence.

"Can I help with something, Yuu?"

He shakes his head and puts the wooden spoon on the kitchen counter,

"Nah, it's done. It just has to simmer for a few more minutes."

You smile at him when Yuuji gently wiggles out of your hug so he can turn around to look at you. There's a big boyish grin on his handsome face and a mischievous sparkle in those golden eyes when he adds,

"But on the other hand, there is something you can do, cutie."

He points at the embroidered 'Kiss the Cook' logo on the front of his apron while the corners of his lips twitch. A moment later, he breaks out in laughter. And you join him, laughing as you lunge at him, and throw your arms around him at the same moment his strong arms wrap around your waist, pulling you against him.

Your eyes close when your mouth brushes against Yuuji's, and you capture his lips in a tender kiss, kissing that cute, loud laughter off his lips.

Deep Regret

Malleus x Yuu

Warning: Major Character death(s), cannibalism, and gore

Malleus eats Yuu. Literally.

(Blame the sick freaks from the discord. I feel rightfully ashamed)

Malleus's mouth tastes like rust. His lips are sticky but dry. He felt full, like he had eaten an entire cake. Unpleasant but somehow satisfied.

Remembered that he was on his way to Ramshackle where his dear friend was waiting. His heart felt so light. His sweet child of man smiled at him in the moonlight.

They had much to talk about. It had been awhile since they last had time to really talk.

They had given him a gift. They called it a friendship charm. He was supposed to keep it with him always and they would keep the other. It was a pretty glass charm. Bright green stained glass glittered in the light. It felt like the greatest gift he had ever received.

But Malleus didn't remember what happened after. Now he stood in the light of daybreak, surrounded by eyes of horrified onlookers.

Yuu's blue and red friends stood in front and Grim hid behind them shaking.

"HOW COULD YOU! THEY TRUSTED YOU!" The ginger screamed with his wand pointed at Malleus and tears streaming down his face.

"Congrats you lizard bastard, you proved them all right." Leona spat hatefully pushing the hyena and wolf further back in the crowd protectively.

Malleus looked around confused but the evidence was at his feet.

Then the memories flooded back.

He didn't know what really happened but Yuu's hand was bleeding. They explained that they cut themselves while making the charm but it was okay.

Malleus had only wanted to take a look, to make sure they were really fine. But he didn't know what happened. It smelled so sweet and he only wanted to taste. That was all.

But one lick turned into more as he peeled back the skin to drip more blood into his mouth. Yuu tried to pull away, they thrashed trying to escape but Malleus held tighter. They yelled so loud.

But he couldn't control it. He just wanted a nibble, they wouldn't miss a pinky right? It was so cute and it was so tender the way it snapped between his teeth.

Malleus wished it was logical but he did was far from it. Like a wild animal he consumed.

Each finger, one by one was taken. So delicious but where merely an appetizer. The hand, the arm next. The skin was so soft and plush. Those same arm that wrapped around him so gently now devoured. If had his mind he would feel grieve, he'd cry. But the only one who cried was Yuu as they sobbed and begged. They screamed "Why?" and Malleus couldn't answer.

Malleus kept eating. He broke fragile bones that got in the way that protected those sensitive organs. He ate the salty flesh from those bones. He dined on them so savagely.

Yuu eventually stopped crying after letting out a raspy low gurgle. If they were gone Malleus didn't know. It would change nothing if they had lost consciousness while being eaten alive or truly died then. It could only matter to loved ones left behind not the killer.

Now Malleus stood over the remains of his friend. The mangled corpses even in its twisted state still bust resembled it original form while covered in its own blood and viscera. Yuu's eyes still stared up at him asking "Why?"

An empty hole in their chest was where the harts was supposed to be.

Malleus's gaze drifted absently across the crowd. Silver and Sebek looked horrified and heartbroken as they looked away from him. And Lilia...never had he seen such grief and shame.

Lilia more than anyone would blame himself. He had never even shown disappointment toward Malleus since the day he hatched. But now...he saw his greatest failure since the day Malleus's mother died.

Malleus knew there was nothing left now. Nothing he wanted beyond this at least. There was no going back.

He didn't know what had happened to him and he didn't want to know. All he knew was that he didn't want it.

He picked up the bloody glass pendent he had been given and handed it to Silver.

"Silver you must finish what your birth father started. I'm truly sorry." He Malleus said.

Silver jerked away and shook his head. He still hadn't come to terms with what happened but he knew so many others right now would gladly do it instead of him.

"I understand." These where the last thing he said before taking the glass charm in hand.

Then with slow agonizing movements in front of the horrified crowd, he carved out his own heart and placed it where Yuu's heart once was.

"There now you truly have my heart, love. Like I had yours." Malleus whispered in a hoarse voice before collapsing and never moving again.

(There it's done! This is not cannon to anything I've ever written. This was hard to write.)

hajun was a busy man, usually neglecting his own needs to ensure that BAE had the best opportunities to succeed in the hiphop industry. more often than not, he forgot to eat in the mornings, his only meal of the day being dinner with allen and anne

but, his sweet girlfriend couldnt let this unhealthy habit continue. the night before, you would end up in the kitchen cooking him a breakfast to pack the next day. it always consisted of some aspects of south korean cuisine to remind him of home, something that he silently appreciated.

it was almost like his routine now to save each of the adorable messages you would write for him, every single one being put in a box under his bed. whenever he felt stressed or like he was useless, hajun would read each of the notes one by one; it never failed to bring a smile to his face at how much you loved him

whilst nayuta always wanted to be self sufficient and independent, he tended to skip out on meals when he could. it was partially due to him not wanting to stress kanata out, but mostly, it was just him forgetting that he had to eat sometimes

obviously, you hated this habit he had and always reminded him to eat throughout the day, going to the point of cooking him his breakfast and handing it to him when you visited his and kanata's apartment in the morning. nayuta's face would light up each time at the cute bento and even cuter notes, happily giggling to himself like a child as he ate the delicious food

whenever nayuta had a bad day, he would reread the messages you had attached with the bento and a red hue tinted his cheeks and the tips of his ears. kanata often teased his little brother about how giddy he would get when you handed him his bento for the day, but in reality, he was just happy that his little brother had someone that loved and cared for him and his wellbeing

on the other hand, unlike the other two, kanata would almost be embarrassed when you insisted on making his meals for the day and it might make him feel even more insecure about his living situation - it makes him feel like he's being pitied, something he hated. so, more often than not, he would refuse the offer of you making his food

however, if you had already gone to the trouble of buying, cooking and preparing the food for him ... he just might take it from you; of course, not without complaining and huffing. he would never admit to you that he thought it was one of the cutest things in the world, though

when kanata would return the empty bento box to you, he would never directly say that he absolutely loved it. it would always be something like - "i guess it wasnt awful" or "it was edible at least". he just isnt able to openly show his appreciation, but he really does appreciate that you want him to look after himself more

Ngl, Aceyuu has me in a chokehold right now. Now imagine this:

Yuu's been learning how to improve their cooking and baking so they and Grim don't have to stick to eating the same ol' food everyday. After successfully making their first successful dish, which is chicken pasta bake, they decided to kick it up a notch. Salads, meat dishes, soups, pastries and desserts, the Ramshackle duo are eating good. So, why not make lunch for the both of them to bring to school?

The first years look in awe when they see the delicious lunches Grim and Yuu are eating. Ace, however, has his eyes set on Grim's dessert: a slice of cherry pie. But just before he can grab it, Grim's already chowing down on the pie before trying to take some of Ace's food. Yuu, of course, scolds Grim and gives him one if their cranberry white chocolate buns to tame him. Noticing Ace's expression, it didn't take long for them to put two and two together. So, they ask for the first years to come over to Ramshackle for dinner. While the first years are talking excitedly, Yuu throws Ace a wink, confusing him.

At Ramshackle, the dining table was full of dishes: grilled chicken, vegetable stir fry, shish kabobs, and more. When it was time for dessert, everyone was on the edge of their seats until Yuu came out with different desserts for each first year. Mini egg tarts for Deuce, pear compote with vanilla ice cream for Jack, spiced apple muffins for Epel, double chocolate cookies for Sebek, custard pudding for Grim, and Yuu has strawberry gelato. To their shock, Ace doesn't have any dessert which bums him a little. Though, to be fair, he is super full so he probably has no room for dessert at the moment. But Yuu, ever the friendly soul, let's Ace eat some of their gelato.

Before they leave, Yuu asks Ace to stay behind because they have something to gift him. They hand him a box tied with a red ribbon and tell him to open it when no one's looking. He's confused but he complies.

Back at Heartslabyul, Ace opens up the box to find what's inside: beautiful mini black forest cakes arranged into a heart shape. Ace, who's a little hungry, snacks on the cakes while feeling all giddy.

annon this is a whole meal (⊙_⊙) and I had to make sure I had a whole meal before I let myself look at this ask, people extensively describing food makes me hungry (－－；

I would make one mini addition to your little scenario, cherry pie is listed as Ace's favorite food, so it makes a bit more sense for Yuu to give him something like that... especially since that's what he wanted from Grim in the first place! Maybe it could be something like these heart shaped cherry hand pies? And Yuu gives him one little black forest cake for desert so it doesn't seem like they are singling him out too much, I mean sure Ace is their favorite but they can't tell the other boys that!!! They need to make up some sort of excuse, maybe they stole found a pencil of his they need to give him so they ask him to stay behind so they can get it for him... and Ace "sighs" and agrees to, acting like he's soooo inconvenienced while the other first years exchange a look and book it so they don't have to deal with you two.

Ace would be so stupid embarrassed if you made him cherry pie. It's his favorite, you know him and see him. Making food for someone is a pure and heavenly form of love, and you had to think about what you wanted to make for each of them and thought long enough about him to make him something extra. It's so touching he can;t even bring himself to gloat about it, but he will thank you for the food.

How can he be expected to get more otherwise?

GL Manga Recs:

Review: This was such a good read!!! They live in a hell hole and basically find solace in each other and it's just so good. I recommend this a lot! Do look up the trigger warnings for this.

Review: I have so many thoughts about this manga! It's doomed yuri and has horror elements! The characters are also very well written! I highly recommend this! However I do recommend looking up the trigger warnings before reading this.

Review: This was soo adorable! It's an office GL. It's very wholesome. They communicate a whole lot and they start dating very early on so there's lots of dating content!

Review: This felt very incomplete. I wish it had more of a better epilogue but it was still a good read.

How do they show love with their animal sides?

They/Them pronouns for reader. Reader is referred to as Yuu.

A/N: I intended to add the fish mafia to the first part but couldn’t decipher a damn thing about how morays or octopus show affection to mates or if they even do that so buckle up and get ready for my bullshit marine biology report lol ✨

Octopuses show affection with cuddling! They are very curious creatures and tend to learn about new things with lots of touching!

Azul more than likely won’t allow Yuu to see his animal form unless they are very close and they swear not to tell anyone how chubby he is in said form. Until then, he’s always got his hands on them, cradling their face and rubbing their cheeks or just wrapping an arm around them. Yuu is basically his personal body pillow.

His tentacles have a mind of their own. Azul can’t stop himself from wrapping them around Yuu just to hold them close. Yuu leaves cuddle sessions looking like they’re covered in hickies from head to toe. Those suction cups are no joke. Jade and Floyd tease them and Azul relentlessly for this.

“Hm? Oh hello, angelfish! No, don’t go, I was just doing some work. Sit here and let me hold you. We can do whatever you like once I’m done… My dear, why are you wearing that? Nobody needs to see the marks from my tentacles on your body! The twins are still bullying me after last time! … *sigh* You are lucky you’re adorable.”

Morays are weird little freaks of nature. Their “affection” is basically not biting the hell out of you so long as you give them food and pets.

In Jade’s case, he prefers pets! He’s a little touched starved so when he’s in need of love, Yuu can expect him to suddenly wrap them in a warm hug from behind or nuzzle into their neck to leave kisses or bites if he’s in a certain mood.

Sometimes Jade will show up to Ramshackle just for some love. There’s nothing he loves more than laying in Yuu’s lap with his arms around them while they stroke his hair. He also really likes massages. Giving them or receiving? Both, he’s happy either way.

“Yuu, my darling, are you busy right now? I had a rather long day at the Monstro Lounge and I could use a recharge… Oh, you give such healing hugs. How would you like to go for a swim with me today?”

Ever heard of the diver who fed a moray for 5-6 years so every time she went diving the moray would show up for pets? That is Yuu and Floyd.

Floyd likes to joke about how delicious Yuu look and playfully trying to bite their cheek. Yuu, taking the shenanigans a bit too literally, now gives Floyd snacks so he’ll stop staring at them with hungry eyes.

He’s not actually gonna eat them of course! But hey, he’s not gonna say no to free snacks. Plus the fact this little human’s first reaction to seeing Floyd is holding up a cookie or something is indescribably cute and hilarious to him.

“Oh woe is me, I feel dizzy! I could certainly go for some delicious shrimp right now… Lil Shrimpy! Don’t give me that look! You know I’m just teasing ya, c’mere. *smooch* I actually am hungry though. Let’s get Jade to cook us something tasty!”

Dragons hoard shiny things and other stuff they consider treasure. That includes Yuu.

Nobody actually knows if Malleus has his own dragon treasure hoard. There’s rumors that his hoard lies somewhere in an abandoned castle in his hometown or in a secret place on Sage’s Island. Surprise! It’s in Ramshackle Dorm. Malleus sees Yuu as his most precious treasure so naturally he ended up leaving shiny objects around the dorm. It started with little things like gold coins or little jewels until it became a full blown hoard.

Yuu just moves all of Malleus’s treasure items into an empty bedroom where nobody grim can mess with it. Now that room is kind of like their nest. Malleus loves to lay in there with Yuu in his arms, hidden away from the world. A room full of beautiful jewels and gold and other treasures but his eyes remain on Yuu.

“Do you like that diamond I found, child of man? You may keep it if you like… Lay here with me for a moment, darling. Does this not feel like a fairytale? A dragon guards a castle and inside lies mountains of treasure and a beautiful prince/princess… Only I won’t let any knights steal you away from me.”

Omg, I remember that episode of “It’s Me or the Dog!” 😂 Victoria is a dog trainer in the show, and she was helping that family stop the family dog who was obsessed with human food and training him to resist the temptation of unattended food on the counter. 🤣

Now, aside from Kaiju!Trey (as they’re not exactly in a good environment or have the same process to make certain ingredients to attempt baking), I can definitely see Monster!Trey and Deity!Trey being used to the swarm of hungry dorm members drooling at the chance to get a bite of baked deliciousness. The moment Grim and Yuu (any of them) come into the picture though, he thinks it’s quite adorable how the two are almost always there, eagerly awaiting the “Go ahead” for them to dig into the tray.

Oh, there’s a specific pastry that Yuu really misses from home and hasn’t been able to find in Twisted Wonderland? Just describe it to him and he’ll find the closest recipe possible and make sure it tastes the same. Nothing brings about feelings of warmth and comfort than a little taste of home, right? (The first time he does this for Yuu, I can see them crying like Chihiro from Spirited Away did when she was eating the rice ball with Haku nearby ;;v;; )

Meanwhile, Cater’s having a blast recording the reactions and posting to Magicam! Yuu and Grim sitting at the counter eagerly waiting for the treats to come out, resisting the urge to swipe the closest one, then happily humming while eating? Captured on camera~! Mini!Yuu and Grim sitting side-by-side watching the goodies bake in the Monster!AU? Or a video of the tiny toddler asking, “When are the yummies going to be ready?” while staring up at big brother Trey? Both got so many likes and reblogs that it momentarily caused Magicam to crash! 😂

Or how about teen/adult!Yuu (or even mini!Yuu…I just love wholesome cuteness regardless of the AU, darnit!!!) and Grim watching the stone-brick ovens churn out treat after treat as the God of Summer whips up more dough and batter faster than the eye can blink in the Deity!AU, Cater’s always there to capture the moment. He swears it’s like watching two adorable puppies waiting impatiently for their food, while Trey enjoys having the chance to spoil someone other than the members of his pantheon with baked goods! (And of course, he and Monster!AU Trey are more notorious than canon Trey when it comes to teeth hygiene for various reason. Can’t let those chompers get worn down by too much sugar and lack of care!)

Whichever AU they’re in (well, except the Kaiju!AU like I said, since I’m not even sure how they’d go about baking even if our intrepid little human figured out how to do it), Trey is always going to be the one who can whip up anything Yuu can imagine to help them feel at home. It’s not much, but if he can somehow bring a little taste of home to a lonely human/mortal, then that’s all that really matters to him in the end.

Now, she’s cooking to remember fond memories, and the octotrio (separately or in group for some nefarious contract or gods knows what !) walking in ψ(｀∇´)ψ and then yuu invite them to join the meal… only to realize the mistake and *cue evil grin.

Azul would eat the food but he would dramatically cry just the biggest tears- It’s good but he’s gonna pretend to cry just because- he finds it incredibly funny-

As you cooked the last of the meal and placed it on the table you heard soft sobs and turned around to see azul crying-? “Azul? Why are you crying? You watched as jade was silently swaying from left to right as you made your sea food meal. He had this awkward smile on his face as his eyes darted from your face, to the food, to the sky and back to you. You stared at him confused and a little entertained as you watched him fidget with his sleeves and fingers as he stared at the sandy ground. Suddenly he started to do little mini hops as he grew more ‘uncomfortable’ as the seconds went by- You snorted and realized he was just playing with you and he noticed you caught on so he stopped almost immediately.

Floyd is the worst of the two- he would be loud and dramatic about it- flinging his arms in the air, shaking his head in disappointment just to see how you would react-

You stood staring at the eel known as Floyd as he just stared at you back. He suddenly clears his throat “yeah so, you know that eel your cooking up there?” You raised your brow “yeah well,, that was my uncle John” you spat your drink out and started coughing- you looked up at Floyd as you stared wide eyed at him- “yea, I saw him earlier the other day” he said with a fake sob as he put his hand where his heart would be and started to clench the cloth “he was so LIVELY and yet here he his” he said as he dramatically took off his hat and went down on one knee as he pointed at the plate. You stared at his face as one singular tear went down his cheek.

You aren’t the only chubby person in the whole school, even if sometimes the feeling is that. Jamil may have first noticed you for your figure but it was very brief. He is a discreet and reserved person and doesn't get tied up in bonds if he can help it. When you two started talking, however, his opinions about you became stronger;

Both of you usually talk about nearly everything. Jamil feels curious about the things you like to do, your hobbies, studies and of course, favorite foods. Yuu Rosehearts & Grim

Welcome to this hellhole. You didn’t ask for it but you’re going to get it anyway. I haven’t slept yet and I am purely running on caffeine. I also feel like fist fighting someone. Come meet me in the McDonald’s parking lot at 3 am if you’re up for it. Anyway, enjoy whatever this is because I currently don’t have the capacity to regret making it, lmaooo. :D

It wasn’t long after meeting Riddle that Yuu decided to meet up with Headmaster Crowley to look for employment in the campus. Although they could go back to their own home, they decided wanting to stay in the Sage’s Island for now since they were quite unwilling to part with their younger brother. They wanted to bond with Riddle a bit more.

Their younger brother…

A soft smile made its way up on Yuu's face, their chest feeling warm and a rising sense of contentment overtaking their mind as they took the newest batch of pastry out of the oven and into the counter to let it cool. Grim, who had just recently arrived, perked up when he saw this and jumped onto said counter to try and swipe a slice of tart away. Of course Yuu, being familiar with their companion’s antics, immediately gently pushed his paw away.

“Fgna! What gives, Yuu!” Grim grumbled lightheartedly, looking hungrily at the tarts. He had to bat away Yuu’s hand when it rested on his head as Yuu said, “Yuu can’t have it, Grim. Those are for sale.”

Just then, one of the ghosts who worked in the cafeteria popped in the kitchen with a loud and cheerful greeting: "Mx. Rosehearts! Your tarts are selling faster than expected! The students love it! Is the next batch ready?" The ghost said as it approached closer and looked at the steaming tarts. They took in a deep breath and hummed pleasantly. "Mmm! It already looks wonderful! I’m sure it’s going to be as delicious as it looks."

That's right. Yuu got a job in the school cafeteria. They mostly made and sold pastries and desserts, though, rather than cooking the meals. It was their area of expertise, after all.

Yuu blinked in surprise when they heard this before a reddish hue dusted their cheeks as they registered what the ghost said to them. "T-They like it?”

Grim rolled his eyes at them, albeit teasingly. This action didn’t go unnoticed by Yuu who scowled, but their ears were flushed. “Oh! W-Well, of course they do! I only learnt from the b-best, after all! Mr. and Mrs. Clover's bakery were really popular back… um… at my previous hometown, you know. If it hadn’t been for them…" Yuu trailed off, mumbling.

Yuu felt indebted to the Clover couple. It was because of them that Yuu had survived all these years and got to where they were right now. Running away with nothing in their name but the clothes on their back and a bag that could only hold so much of the things that they needed to survive hadn’t been easy for them.

Yuu had to constantly worry about where to find shelter, when they were going to eat their next meal, or find a source of clean water. Oftentimes, they would even have to go for days on end not being able to eat anything. It was always a risk, a gamble, of whether they were going to succumb today or live on for another day. The only thing that kept them going in their darkest times was the thought and the fear that accompanied it of leaving Grim alone. The world wasn't kind to monsters and Yuu would be damned if they left their first and only friend alone in such a cruel world.

Yuu had found Grim when they were hiking through the mountain, trying to find berries or fruits that were fit for human consumption. That was the time when they noticed a creature that was tucked away beneath a tall, towering tree. It looked like it was trying to hide itself against it.

Grim was severely injured at that time and was extremely hostile, heckles raised and hissing threateningly at Yuu. Despite the threat of being roasted alive by the unknown creature, for some reason Yuu had felt a connection with it. Perhaps it was a feeling of kinship? Or was it sympathy? They didn't know why but what they did know was that they couldn't just leave the creature out here all alone.

Even though Yuu had almost nothing with them aside from their rapidly decreasing food supply, they still gave most of it to Grim. He needed it more to grow healthier and stronger, as well as recover from his injuries, after all.

From that day on, the two were practically inseparable.

Yuu and Grim had strayed from place to place, never stopping and always finding ways to survive despite their circumstances. Most of the time they had to stay in the woods. With Grim being a monster and Yuu looking disheveled and dirty, most of the towns and cities they came across to would just either chase them away or immediately throw them out.

They had no choice but to live and try to survive in the wilderness. Since Grim was a monster, his stomach was tougher than humans so he could eat a lot of things that humans couldn’t and be full enough to not feel the pains of hunger. Yuu didn't have the same luxury, though, so they usually just had to grit their teeth and try to sleep it off.

When the hunger pangs was too much to bear and Grim noticed it (and he always did), the cat-like creature would temporarily disappear before returning to their makeshift home with a pitiful amount of food held between his maws. This usually accompanied an injury or injuries somewhere on his body.

Yuu knew that Grim stole the foods from nearby towns but they never said anything bad about this. They never condemned or get mad at him for stealing, or worry about what the people would think of them. Yuu was only worried about Grim…

"...Y-Y-You don't have to r-risk your life to get this for me, y-you know." Yuu would whisper, stuttering their words no matter how much they tried to stop it, trying to bandage Grim's injuries with what limited amount of first aid supplies they had with them while trying to stop their tears from flowing by how battered and beaten their one and only friend was. "Promise me you won't—you won’t do this a-again... Please… p-please…"

Grim would always promise Yuu to never get himself injured.

…

He was a liar…

… He always broke his promise…

Fortunately for them, things started to look up when they stumbled upon a bakery in a small town faraway that was on the verge of closing down and landed themselves a job as a baker after the last one quit due to the lack of customers. Their boss was a kind soul who didn’t care that Grim was a monster or that Yuu looked disheveled and unkempt.

Soon, the bakery slowly but surely started to attract more and more customers as the days passed that Yuu and Grim could finally sustain themselves. Grim even became the bakery's beloved mascot and the people absolutely loved him.

Yuu was grateful to their boss for their kindness, as well as to the Clover family for teaching them. Even at the cost of potentially getting into trouble with Mrs. Rosehearts had she ever found about Yuu learning these 'unnecessary things', the couple still secretly taught them how to bake and would even give them treats to cheer them up whenever they feel down.

"Yuu?" A very familiar voice sounded out, snapping Yuu out of their thoughts as Grim shoved his face in front of them.

"I—W-What--?" Yuu stuttered out, startled.

"The tarts already cooled off. Are you going to sell it or can I have all of it?" Grim eyed the tarts with a greedy expression on his face. Yuu shook their head in a doting manner at Grim who was practically drooling, before they picked up the trays and handed it over to ghost staff that took it gratefully and left.

"Hey!" Grim grumbled again, a dejected look on their face. “You’ve been baking all these tarts since earlier and you won’t even give me a bite. This is so unfair...” Yuu couldn't help but laugh at his expression.

"Hmm... Well, how about this," Yuu pretended to think, placing a hand under their chin as if contemplating. "Ah! I know! I'll bake a whole tart just for you, the great Grim!"

Grim paused for a moment, blinking, before his eyes twinkled. He perked up, “Woah! A whole tart?! Just for me?” He paused. “Wait, I have to do something first, right? What do I have to do in return?”

Yuu laughed at Grim's sharp intuition. He really knew them too well. They reached in their pocket and pulled out a small list, saying: "We're, uh, running out of ingredients unfortunately, so I'd appreciate it if you can head over to Sam’s real quickly."

Grim sighed, "Fggnaa... chores..." But he took the list anyway. "Can I have two whole tarts, then?"

"No, you only get one."

"But Yuuuu! I'm hungry!"

"Hmm... Well, you can have one whole tart then and a can of tuna from Sam."

"!!! Can I have five--"

"Two tuna cans, at most. You're going to give yourself indigestion."

"Bah!" Grim pouted but he quickly went back to his normal, cheerful self at the thought of eating not just two tuna cans but also a whole tart! Just for him and no one else’s!

He jumped down the counter with the grocery list and headed towards the exit, shouting: "I'll be back soon so make me the biggest and tastiest tart, alright Yuu?"

“Yes, yes…” Yuu chuckled. They stared at Grim’s figure until he was completely gone from their sight before Yuu went over to one of the ovens in the kitchen to take out a tart that was significantly much bigger than the other ones they made earlier. Grim may be small but he sure could eat a lot. Yuu wondered where all the food he ate go.

One of the ghost chefs poked their head in by the doorway and their eyes immediately landed on the tart. "Oh, so fast? And just in time, too! The tarts just sold out!" The ghost exclaimed but Yuu was quick to wave their hands.

"Ah, I'm sorry but, um, this one isn't for sale. I h-had to have Grim get me more ingredients from Sam. I'm afraid the customers will have to wait a- a little more." Yuu gave an unsure and sheepish smile to the ghost.

"Alright then, just call us when you have more!" The ghost said cheerfully before going away to help cater to the students in the cafeteria because of lunch rush.

Yuu turned their focus to the tart, picking up the piping bag and lining it on the pastry. They let their hands go to work as they hummed a merry tune. Nothing but the best for Grim, of course.

Seeing their brother as well as their best friend every day, the thought of bonding and making happy memories with each other, even the idea of making new friends in this place was just so exciting. What more could Yuu ask for in life?

After struggling for years and years, of endlessly experiencing hardship and pain, they could finally relax… they were happy and contented. At long last, everything was all right in the world and nothing could ever ruin this peace.

Just read cook Yuu and made me think about how Yuu took the time and secrets they to cook. From making breakfast,lunch, dinner, and dessert. Like seeing the Savanaclaw eating meat but turns out it’s actually made with with veggies, surprising Riddle with Chocolate Mousse, giving Malleus a ice cream cake, etc

Leona was betrayed but he couldn't help but eat more. He was glaring at Yuu while eating it.

Riddle was surprised to eat the Chocolate Mousse it was so delicious! He asked for another piece and you ended up giving him a cake.

Malleus loved the ice cream cake! He asked if he could help make it next time and Yuu agreed.

"Maid for Me"

Maid!FemYuu x Vil Schoenheit

Summary: Vil enjoys having a personal maid. Good for him.

"Good Morning, Master."

Her beautiful voice was the first thing he heard in the morning. The first thing he would see was her as she gently drew back the curtains to let in the early morning light.

Her face was bathed in early morning light as she sighed lovingly. Her gaze flitting to him and smiled.

"Would you like to take a bath first or would you like me to bring you your breakfast?" Yuu asked like she did every morning and like almost every morning his answer was the same.

"If you've already made breakfast then I'd like to eat it while it's hot." He said.

Yuu bowed before grabbing a hand towel and a basin of warm water. Vil washed his face as Yuu exited the room briefly to grab the trolly that she had left outside the door.

"I've prepared a Halloumi and Zucchini Frittata with your morning smoothie." She said placing the dish on the table.

"I don't need a frittata." Vil sighed, knowing what she would say next.

"No. You do. You have a full schedule today, Master. You need something heavier on your stomach this morning. I've consulted your dietitian already and we've changed a few things. Your agent agrees, so just eat" Yuu was right as always.

He ate with little complaint. It was delicious as always.

When he finished he undressed for a bath. He had to make sure to wave his maid off so she wouldn't undress him or enter the bathroom to assist him.

She's not banned from these actions, just limited. He allowed her to dress him but she is seldom allowed to undress him. It's just too indecent. She can only enter and join him in the bathroom when he wants her to wash his hair after another incident where things got a bit too "hot." Still, Yuu handled it respectfully and never crossed lines when Vil was tempted himself.

Once he dried himself Yuu got to work and dressed him in his "casual" attire. She always took care to make sure all of Vil's outfits fit his image but also made him look approachable. As his maid Vil's image was her's as well, in an indirect way. A maid's pride is her master's and vice-versa. She wished for Vil to have whatever he desired and if he desired to be superior to Neige then she would make it so.

She sat him in front of the boudoir and began the next part of their morning ritual. She would brush his hair as she listed out the day's schedule. Vil would hum in response as he felt her lightly tug and pull his hair into a chosen style.

"It's almost time for a trim. Do you want to grow your hair out a bit more?" She asked examining every strand of hair.

"I don't know? What do you think?" Vil asked "Would you rather I have longer hair so you can play in it more?"

Yuu only smiled in response. They both knew the answer. She would love that.

She moved on to Vil's favorite part as she began brushing on makeup. He could focus on every detail of her face. He noticed that she was wearing the earrings she had received from him as a gift. She wore an alluring shade of pink on her lips.

"This dress looks good on you." He said as she finished her work.

"Thank you, master. You choose only the best for me." She praised.

"That's right." He purred gesturing for her to sit on hid lap. She didn't hesitate.

Vil pulled out a box from one of the drawers in the boudoir. Inside was a diamond necklace he only used once or twice.

He heard her gasp as he place it around her neck. A new collar for her to bare.

"I take good care of you, don't I?" He asked lifting her chin to stare into her eyes. He could only see the adoration she lavished on him.

"Yes, you do, master. Please continue to take care of me in the future." She whispered pressing a kiss to Vil's neck.

"I think I'll have to get you new dress. Something shorter." As he whispered this in her ear his hand explored up her thigh. "I want you to only wear what I give you. Because you're mine."

"Yes, only yours." She shivered.

"So, you must stay by my side. Right my dear?" He asked pressing a kiss to the corner of her mouth.

"Y-yes master." She was losing focus as she felt Vil's hands on her. "I could never leave you."

"Good," He said standing up abruptly "I'm off to a photoshoot."

"A-what?! Vil!" Yuu cried, caught off guard. They were in the middle of something.

"Don't be cross, love. We'll finish this once I get back tonight." Vil said kissing her forehead before grabbing his bag. "I'll stop at that shop you like and pick up one of the corsets you love."

Yuu sighed in one part from irritation and another from fondness. Their relationship has taken a turn since she told him about her love for maids. They both loved this new dynamic.

Christmas w/ Ramshackle

Characters: GN Yueme (yuusona), Grim, Mizuki, trio ghosts

Context: Second year semester, Mizuki brought ingredients to make one of Yueme's food back home. They ended up making 50,000 tamales, so they ended up sharing with the others.

Warning: Strict culinary judgment

It's that time of year, Christmas is around the corner. The first winter, Yueme and Grim arrived at NRC. They couldn't forget the things they had to fend for self-defense, but with Mizuki along, everything was going to be fine. For once, they were able to have a nice family dinner.

As the morning rises, the heart and spade go to visit their friend as they stop on their track.

A unknown delicious smell

Ace and Deuce arrived at the Ramshackle dorm, the smell getting strong as they knocked on the door, greeted by Grim.

"What do you guys want?" (Grim)

"We came to visit Yuu." (Deuce)

"Say Grim, what is that smell? It's strong, and it smells good. Is Yueme and their friend making something?" (Ace)

"Henchman says they are making something for dinner." (Grim)

"Eh?" (Adeuce)

"I little help here!" (GN Yueme)

"Here you go, Yueme." (Mizuki)

Yep, it was indeed busy as there were a lot of ingredients at the table counter and 10 big pots at the stove counter. The trio ghosts also help as they put the "dough" on the "giant leaf" and then the seasoning chicken, but they couldn't help out as the kitchen was too warm for them. To Ace and Deuce, they have no idea what they were making, but they could tell their friend was in a happy mood as they were finishing with the last batch.

"Aannd~ That should be the last one." As Yueme put the last one inside the big pot.

"Yueme, what is it your making?" (Ace)

"Oh! It's something that I used to eat back to my original world. It's called tamales, a mesoamerican tradition dish. The masa is a dough made of nixtamelized corn, steam with corn husk/banana leaves, either red or green salsa, and for the meat, it can be either chicken or pork." (GN Yueme)

"Wow! Hearing it just makes my mouth water." (Ace)

"By the way, Yueme. Are you and the rest going to finish "all" of that?" (Deuce)

"I might have got a lot of ingredients, but it was worth it. Yueme, we might have to share it with the others as this could be added to the cafeteria menu." (Mizuki)

"Hmm..yes. I don't want to waste all of it. Mizuki, see if we have a wagon to carry out to the Hall of Mirrors." (GN Yueme)

"Yeast (Yes), I am." He pronouncing the Yeast weirdly causing Yuu to groan at him.

He's the assistant of the pastry chef, so he's tried just about everything in the shop.

He doesn't buy, but "steals" it from the shop. By steal, he doesn't know that Ingo!Vanrouge often pays for his cream horns before he leaves for NRC.

"What do you have there?" The pastry chef stopped him.

"Just a little gift, little chef......" He held up two fingers in a peace sign and disappeared in trace of blue smoke with his "stolen" goods.

"Hehe, I wonder if I should tell him that Vanrouge-senpai already paid for him. Maybe next time." The chef chuckled at latter's disappearing act.

He's been all over the Twisted Wonderland, finding different fabrics and got addicted to these. He honestly didn't think the pastry chef knew how to make them, but was surprised when he did.

"I didn't think he did deliveries." The latter was making another cosplay from a request by a person named Yuu who requested something odd. "Well, back to figuring how to make this "Childe" cosplay." He glanced back at the drawing Yuu sent him before popping the treat into his mouth.

He actually heard about the treat from Yuu and asked the pastry chef if he knew how to make it.

"It's delicious, thank you for getting this for me." The latter mumbled shyly, eating the sugary treat and holding the bag that was filled with the rest.

"Always happy to see you enjoy yourself!" Ingo!Vanrouge told him with a small smile. "Let us know if you have any other requests." He gave the latter a pat on the head causing the latter to look a bit flustered and looked away awkwardly.
