SO I just finished binging all of Romantic Killer bc it came up in my recommended. And oh my god I loved it so much;;

There’s definitely mixed reviews about it WHICH IS FAIR bc the premise is about a girl named Anzu who isn’t interested in romantic relationships but she then gets pushed into typical dating sim situations with Really Cute Boys in an effort to like. Force her into a relationship. And obv this kinda comes off as arophobic. But the fact that she so stubbornly refuses to partake and tries so hard to veer away from those situations makes it so fucking funny, especially when she rejects the boys with faces like this

And it turns out it’s really just a show about found family and overcoming trauma and developing healthy friendships with people and UGH. UGHHH it’s so good.

I actually adore Riri lmao they’re SUCH a little shit and I very much enjoy insanely chaotic characters like that. And we start off thinking okay wow this person’s kind of an asshole for forcing a girl to get a boyfriend by taking away her cat, her favorite hobby and her favorite snack, but then we find out OH, they’re just a cog in a corporate machine and they don’t really have much of a choice about it. And we slowly see Riri actually gain true affection for Anzu, and see how much they come to care about her as a person rather than just as a test subject, to the point of them actually breaking the rules of their contract just to make sure she’s safe. AND NOT JUST HER. They make sure the people she’s associated with are safe too, even if it risks them getting in Big Trouble with their boss. AND the fact that they canonically go by they/them pronouns but can ALSO transform into a boy or a girl depending on their preference, and they playfully flirt with Anzu in both forms?? It’s so good. Also thinking about the effort that Anzu goes through to make sure Riri gets to stick around;; like even tho she’d never admit it. She’s come to care for them too in some very strange way lol

And Junta;; the fact that Anzu is actually so concerned about him possibly being brainwashed into the position of childhood friend? Like she doesn’t immediately push him away or shut him down, she actually cares about him as a person and wants him to find happiness and wants to get him out of the situation she thinks he’s in. But then she finds out oh wait he actually IS a childhood friend. And he’s such a good boy. I love love LOVE how they handle the love triangle aspect in this, because obviously yes there’s a bit of jealousy, but not enough for things to get petty between him and Kazuki. They actually treat each other with respect and regard each other as friends and are kinda rooting for the other in their own way. Kind of “may the best man win” sort of thing. There’s no toxicity, there’s no classic “fighting over the female love interest” trope, they actually genuinely like each other after a bit of awkwardness enough to feel comfortable with living together and living with Anzu. They’re SO fucking sweet god dammit //shakes fists

(Honestly tho I really wish we got more episodes focused on Junta. Bc he really seemed like more of a background character and made the whole “love triangle” aspect not feel as prominent. Which is fine I guess?? But I felt so bad for him lmao)

And Kazuki 😭 My beloved. My poor sweet boy who deserves the world and everything in it. Just the build up. The subtle hints of his trauma that pop up every now and then. And when it all comes together you’re like oh!! Ohhh. THAT’S why he acts so aloof and cold all the time. THAT’S why he doesn’t like being the center of female attention. THAT’S why he gets distressed at things that, at first, seem so insignificant. THAT’S why he got attached to Anzu so quickly. And I love the way they handle his trauma, how they don’t make it seem any less important or alarming just because he’s a guy. And how Anzu’s there for him through everything 🤧 How she’s the person to pull him out of the darkness, how she stands up for him time and time again, how she just KNOWS when he’s uncomfortable and steps in to protect him. She ends up caring about him so much despite how they were set up to encounter initially. And he cares about her so much too. And I just 🥺 I care them

Also the fact how everyone came to help Kazuki when they found out what was going on. No judgement, no “you’re making this up”, no “isn’t this your fault to begin with?” They all just step in without even hesitating and support him through his trauma and immediately go “Okay we’ve got a problem so here’s our gameplan.” SEE. IT’S REALLY ABOUT THE FOUND FAMILY,

And one of my favorite things. Riri 🤝 Hijiri using their influence and power to protect both Anzu and Kazuki despite the risks to their reputation and social standing

OH AND I wanted to mention. I love that all of the classic romantic tropes i.e. something happening to your cute neighbor’s apartment so that they’re forced to live with you while it gets sorted out--those are generally really cheesy and make huge plot holes and don’t make ANY sense in the narrative. But that’s the thing about RK, they make it funny, yeah your cute boy neighbor’s apartment flooded bc we need him to come live with you. We did it with magic. Yes your childhood friend is living with you now bc we had a weirdo break into your apartment--with magic. So now he feels like he needs to stay with you and protect you. Yes you got hit by a car with a really rich boy inside and now he’s interested in you. We also did this with magic. Everything that would be regarded as a “coincidence” and is a badly written plot point just to push two characters together is actually explained through the hilarious concept of magic and I LOVE that it’s so fucking funny

Honestly this show is really up to interpretation too which I like a lot? Some people think hey yeah, maybe Anzu will end up with someone. Others say you know what the message here is that friendship is the most important thing and sometimes platonic relationships are better than romantic ones. The ending is pretty ambiguous so it could really go in any direction.

Anyway I have so much more to say but. Just watch Romantic Killer it’s really good thanks bye

You Flinch During an Argument -Todoroki Shoto

Sooo I decided to change this into drabbles instead of headcannons and a drabble bc I'm a lot more comfortable writing in this format, sorry if this bothers anyone <33

The argument was getting nowhere, you were exhausted, angry, and hurt. You also bet that Sho felt the same.

Sighing, you stand up and walk towards where Shoto was pacing around.

"Listen Sho, let's just go to bed, we can talk about this in the morning."

"Fine then, you go to be-" Shoto froze as he saw you flinch away from him, he wasn't going to.. hurt you. He would never hurt you.

"Did.. did you think I was going to hurt you?" Shoto asked, inwardly panicking as he rushed to your side, hands hovering over your arms, shoulders, and hands, too scared of hurting or scaring you to touch you.

"No baby no. It was some kinda reaction from my body, probably because the tension was high and we're heroes." You coo, grabbing Shoto's hands comfortingly.

"A-are you sure?" Shoto asked, body shaking as he moved his hands up and down your arms, trying to comfort you as best as he could.

"Positive my dear, lets just get to bed, yeah? We can talk about our.. disagreement in the morning." You smile, causing Shoto to nod as he followed you to your shared bedroom, hovering behind you as you go through your night time routine.

"Baby.. I promise I'm not scared of you." You whisper, turning around to hug Shoto as he hovered over your shoulder, heart broken.

"I- I know.. it just reminded me of mom.. and him.."

"Oh baby, no. That is completely different."

Hugging Shoto tighter, your heart partially broke as Shoto clung to you, burying his face in your neck, seeking any kind of comfort he could.

"T-this was a one time freak accident.. right?" Shoto asked, a few tears staining your shoulder as he let you comfort him, needing some kind of stability for him to be sane.

"Yes, yes this will only happen this one time. I was not scared of you, my body moved on its own, I hold zero fear towards you, my love."

"Promise?"

"I promise. Now, let's get to bed and cuddle, yeah?"

Shoto simply nodded, shuffling his feet in a way where he could move yet stay attached to you, and he completely climbed on top of you, burying his face into your chest as you played with his hair, kissing his forehead sweetly.

The next morning he was attached to you until you had to go to work, and even then he was very reluctant to let you go, asking for kiss after kiss as you attempted to leave.

You came home to a completely cleaned house, your favorite meal, and your favorite at home activity set up.

And the next day, after he came home from work he brought you flowers, your favorite treat, take out, a movie, and a book that's been rotting in your 'tbr' list on Amazon.

It stayed that way for at least a week and a half, Shoto doing everything he could to show you how much he truly loved you.

"Baby I'm home." Shoto calls, shutting the door with his foot as he moved to set todays findings on your kitchen island.

"Hey, you're home early!" You smile, quickly making your way to kiss Sho's lips before hugging him, smiling at the comforting warmth and smell.

"Yeah, I missed you too much and there wasn't much going on. If there's any thing they need my help with they'll simply call me in."

Pecking his chest as acknowledgment, you turn to the island, blushing in embarrassment at the multiple bags on the smooth surface.

"Sho, how many times do I need to tell you that you don't need to keep buying me things?" You sigh, smiling as the hero pecked the back of your ear to help you cool off.

"And how many times do I need to tell you that I know I don't 'need' to, but I can, and want to spoil my queen."

"Sho you're too good for this world." You huff, blushing at Shoto's bold honesty.

"I belive that is you, my love."

"Okay okay- what did you get this time?" You sigh, peering at the bags curiously.

"You have to wait for this one," Sho mused, picking out a small black bag from the bunch, maneuvering it so you wouldn't see the brand name.

"Ah c'mon Sh-"

"and this one is for dinner-" Sho continued, shushing you with a quick peck to the lips, setting the grocery bag aside.

" and the rest is for you to enjoy at your leisure." Shoto smiled, causing you to blush.

Smiling, you look through the remaining four bags, smile widening at the sentimental gifts Shoto had gotten you.

One bag was full of books and movies you were dying to read/watch, and another one was full of bags of sweets you enjoyed from the gas station near your house -which means he most likely grabbed them on a whim, barely putting a thought into spoiling you as he remembered all of your favorites and which one you liked the most.

The other two were full of some of your favorite hobbies, and things you were meaning to get. Needed a new pair of earphones for long hours of patrol? Sho got the new model, making sure to get your favorite color. Oh- did you want a pair of fuzzy socks for the upcoming winter? Shoto got you just that, spending extra money to make them just right for you. The list went on and on, causing you to both feel giddy and annoyed.

"Shoto, you can't just spoil me. You need to be spoiled too, and all of your money is going into this isn't it?" Giving Sho a look to stop him from interrupting, you continued, "but, I really do appreciate this. You're too sweet for this world, Sho."

Shoto just smiled at you, eyes holding a certain spark that made you giddy.

And that alone stopped you from telling him to stop.

Because he truly enjoyed spoiling you, and you won't be that one to dampen that light, you'll be the one to continue to let it grow.

Plus you started spoiling him too- and now it's basically part of your routine

• he remembers every little detail about you and what you ever said, even if it was mentioned parenthetically

• secretly likes stalking watching you fight, he'll even be impressed how much you can handle alone he would never admit that ofc

• whenever you crack a dark joke he turns away bc he doesn't want you to see him grinning

• by the time he opens up to you, but in baby steps

• shoulder or head pats after you finish a 'mission' together

• you both pull pranks on Shigaraki or Spinner just to piss them off

• he starts to randomly show up at your door at night "Do you know how fucking late it is?" "I have ice cream"

This is regarding your post about the MHA boys as animals, uhhh I HAVE SO MANY IDEAS: - I really like when fics portray Izuku as a rabbit/bunny, and not necessarily bc I feel like hes submissive bc I feel like he can rail the shit out of you when he's in the mood but because bunnies can be obsessive and nervous and IDK REMIND ME SO MUCH OF IZUKU. A MUSCULAR BUN. - YES YES I LOVE YOUR IDEA FOR KIRI! I feel like there's a lot of playroom with what animal fits him bc he's so versatile, like he's just as much of a farm dog who wants to help you out to the best of his abilities and lap your cunt as he is a proud bull who wants to show how strong he is to prove he is indeed the best hybrid you will ever see. - I read a fic where todoroki was a cat hybrid and I WAS DEAD. Whether it's a quiet house kitty or a big exotic cat he gives off energy. Probably very expensive too, comes from a line of strong pure blood. - Bakugo is also a dog in my opinion. He'd deff cause trouble for the first couple of months when you adopt him and he has to get used to you to finally be complimented (not without making some smart ass comments under his breath tho). BUT LORD FORBID SOMEONE GET TO CLOSE TO YOU, he'd all of a sudden act like your most loyal protective pup and that he did not reject your hugs 5 minutes ago. OMG SORRY FOR THE LONG ASK I GOT EXCITED LMFAO

It's really been paying off to have notifications turned on lately you're on a roll! I'm curious if you have an idea of which characters favor clinics vs clubbing when they aren't in a relationship. It's a really interesting world building detail and I'm curious!

haha yes! it’s easiest for me to be a little bit on and off and just post several things at once sometimes. consistent posting schedule? nah

but anyway! this is…actually not something i’ve thought about, and harder to answer than i thought.

ofc any villains would not go for the clinics—too public and also a fast way to get arrested. and now that i’m thinking about it, specifically about people like toga with maybe some harder kinks, there are probably things a government-run clinic just won’t do because of risks.

this is also hard to answer bc we love a high school sweetheart narrative <3 i imagine most of the class a ships getting together in high school. although maybe i shouldn’t?? i was just defaulting to that for some reason. okay, to make this easier on myself let me just pretend everyone is not paired up.

izuku: i feel like izuku would definitely pick clubbing even if only because clinics remind him of hospitals and nahhh

katsuki: oh he is at the club all the time. he canonically goes to workshops regularly

hawks: i don’t see him being a fan of either, but he would also steer clear of clinics especially given past experiences

todoroki: cljnic boy. he’s bad at talking to people. and very recognizable

shinsou: depends on his self-confidence level, at the time. he could go either way

kaminari: cmon. yknow my boy loves a party

momo: oh she’s a traditionalist. which is worldbuilding i haven’t fleshed out yet! note to self: do that. but no she’s very old school she doesn’t do strangers

iida: i don’t think about him a lot and i feel like i’m stereotyping him but i canNOT see him in a club ever. nah. he’s at the clinic

mic: just look at him. mr punk dj man is putting on a disguise and dragging aizawa to a club

aizawa: when not being dragged out he would be at the clinic. sigh. another monthly maintenance task for this human body and its human needs

that’s everyone i have specific thoughts about i think? everyone else i’m just kinda like. no thoughts head empty.

a character I don't understand the hype for would probably be todoroki shoto from my hero academia. and here's my reasoning for that (pls dont come after me i love him too but-). ik a lot of people like the brooding dont-touch-me-i-am-brooding-but-pretty, but like....his quirk is too overpowered, and i think he's an overused trope in a sense. like yeah ig he's pretty but...have you SEEN the fandom hype. i dunno rn i was thinking about him and i was like really?????? i do love him tho he has very comedic moments, and i like to headcanon he has slowly realized how funny he is but just keeps doing it and acting oblivious. moving on

my favorite season huh? i would have to say winter cuz i love getting bundled up in sweaters and blankets while its cold around me. i also like seeing my breath fog when the air is really cold, and the fog on the car windows. i also like the rainy season bc the smell right after its freshly rained >>>>>

i'm a cozy halloween person lol. i get pretty easily spoked, but i'll have the most miniscule reaction. like if i get surprised the most i'll do is that my eyes get really wide and i stop walking or doing whatever i was. or have like a full body flinch, but you won't hear a peep out of me.

hmmmm im not a big gamer actually. but i really like the mobile racing games. asphalt 9 has really cool graphics, but i haven't played that in months lmao. i was also really good at the motorcycle games in the arcades. always got 1st or 2nd.

uno reverse im gonna recommend you THREE songs rn. End It by RIELL, Sharks by Imagine Dragons, and RISE by League of Legends, The Glitch Mob, and Mako. Listen to all of them rn. also my music taste differs on my mood lol so its kind of all over the place.

bricks are very good aesthetics and also very good weapons. also jason x brick is the best ship.

royal purple. and i mean the deep rich color that reminds you of luxury back when royals ruled the lands. the purple only seen in silks of the highest quality. a symbol of prestige and power. its nowhere close to any shade of light purple.

First time meeting:

You saved him from a cicin mage, he wasn't paying attention and he got sneaked up on.

When he saw both of your visions he was very intrigued! You just saved him, and you are also very attractive..wait not the time-.

He thanked you for saving him, but you just said that you didn't do it for him.

He was a little shocked by your cold voice, but you didn't mean it like that (you are just socially awkward)

Paimom called you rude, you just grabbed her lil’ legs and yeeted™ her.

Legend says people can still hear high-pitched screams in the distance, fly high(away) paimon 🕊

When you two get together:

Paimon would scream at the two of you to stop being so awkward.

It's kind of endearing, but like just hold hands already!?!??!?!?jehdfhisjb

In the beginning you are kind of unemotional but when the relationship progresses it changes a lot.

You try to understand his emotions but sometimes it's just hard, but he has a lot of patience so that's very nice!

He brings you a lot of flowers, and he is just a blushy mess when he gives them to you while you are more dense but when he explains it you are very grateful (you now bring him flowers as well)

If and when you tell him about your ‘daddy issues’ he will be there for you to talk it out and if you want hugs!

He will feel really sorry for you, but he will lovingly kiss your scars and support you very much (tbh you cried the first time he did that)

He would be really impressed and proud of you when you use the both of your visions, like shawty i see you *lip bite*

He would love to meet your siblings, and your siblings are very supportive over him since well he is amazing isn't he<33

The dates consist of getting soba! He also tries to buy you soba since you love it, whenever he can.

*Casually punches Paimon away from your soba*

He is probably your biggest simp, but as he should because your hot asf.

It's a very healthy relationship and I think it is very cute as well!

Albedo

First time meeting:

He was very curious of you and wanted to ‘study’ you, you didn't take that lightly and were about to leave.

He explained that he just wanted to study you because you have two visions and he never saw such a thing before.

You two had a staring contest right after that, both of your faces were basically : 😐 (it was kinda creepy ngl).

Sucrose was standing there awkwardly and questioning her life choices.

When you two get together:

A quiet but cute relationship, I think you would be very glad that it was a relaxed relationship.

He draws you a lot, like each day you have different paintings/drawings of you.

He finds a lot of inspiration when he is with you<3

you stuck with him through his best and worst moments. you saw the grime parts of him that he only expressed out of frustration, and you also saw that well polished version of him, a version of him that’s adorned in a clean turtle neck. he doesn’t know how it exactly manifested, but it was surely when he sat down on his futon, heart beating quite rapidly as he recalled what your voice was, your words, and your expression. and that was when he knew he was pinning on you.

it’s a miracle that he actually tolerated you, and it wasn’t just for a moment too

it wasn’t like you actively bothered him (bc he’d get sick of that shit quick) but just so happened to get roped into every single situation with him, and he just gradually got more used to you. he surely acted like he didn’t like being around you, but he found himself texting you, a reminder that he left a meal in the fridge for you and if you didn’t eat it, he’d eat it instead. he also found himself teasing YOU, and not the other way around, but if anyone did that— they’d meet their untimely end. and that’s how he realized it.

activities he.. didn’t hate a lot were arm wrestling with you, eating spicy food without milk, sending weird memes and with the context ‘that’s you.’, walking home with you because you’d get lost without him

he hates that everything suddenly changed, and he only noticed. he’s been checking you out since then, and he’s glad he’s never gotten caught. everytime he decided to text you ‘his best friend’, he found himself wondering if it’s appropriate, or if you’re asleep, or if he sounds too nice. that’s probably when he tosses his phone to the side, mumbling about getting that shit out of the bag soon.

kaminari denki — WEIRD REALIZATION

the best friend that was always goofy and quite chaotic around you, that was until you accidentally did something that he found attractive.

you guys always clicked with each other, practically sharing a braincell every single time you guys joked around with each other. your thought process was practically linked with his, and it was strictly platonic. you’re attractive, yes- but when you were laughing at his antics at 2am, you fell onto his lap. eyes staring at his electrifying gaze softly, yawning as you claim that you’re sleepy

activities you guys find yourself doing for the fun of it were reading cringy and badly written fanfics, making weird roleplays, doodling on each others’ faces when one of them sleeps, and making memes, printing them out and framing them.

it was such an eye opener to him, and he’s unsure if he has any regrets or not. everytime he sees you, he’s suddenly reminded of that night, and everytime you attack his shoulder during a laugh attack, he grows aware of your hands. he’ll be a mess, until he gets it out. but until then, he’s wondering if it should stay platonic, or if it should move forward. he’s unsure

shinsō hitoshi — CONTEMPLATING FROM AFAR

you guys worked well together. very compatible, and miscommunications were rare.

you were just conveniently there when shinsō needed someone, and you guys clicked so well, to the point he didn’t even remember a time he fought back with your attempts of being friendly. you were also that friend that managed to remember his presence, and bring him to places he needed to socialize (just so he’d work on it) and you’re oddly so patient with him, it’s crazy. he’d assume it was all strictly platonic until he found himself staring at you, and there was a split second that he imagined inside his head, a vision of you in his arms. and he shakes his head, because you’re his bestfriend, but.. the idea itself isn’t terrible.

activities you found each other bonding over were sneaking out, just to go to 7-11, asking random questions out loud and only for the other person to answer, aggressive mario cart, watching dance moms and the kardashians just because, and dragging shinsou to the bathroom so he could try on a painful pore strip with you at 1am.

he hates himself for being like this, and shinsō can’t help but feel guilty for checking you out whenever your back is turned, or when he starts anticipating for you to walk through that door with a painful skincare product in your hands. but he sighs to himself, because it’s now or never. if your wish was to make it strictly platonic, he’d be content with that as long as if it didn’t ruin anything, and if you were to be his then.. score.

deku

protagonists are charismatic

they have that certain pull that reels you into their world

and you can't help but allow yourself into the freefall that is them

but i think there's more to deku's contagious smile and soft freckles

he started off as a normal kid in a world where the extraordinary is considered as desireable

and in this world he is a meer ordinary kid

he's full of flaws, innocent, and basically clueless about anything and everything

perhaps, that's why you're drawn to him

maybe at some point in your life, or in the present, you feel the same way

you have the urge to improve yourself but everytime you attempt to do so, a new conflict rises

which then halts you and makes you feel lost

again

it's like a cycle you can't get out of

just like deku with his quirk

maybe his journey into figuring out his future and improving himself

makes you feel comfortable

or determined to pursue your own path

ngl, it's comforting to watch a late bloomer who started from scratch become someone great

isn't that motivating?

and let's not forget his kind heart

in this world where we are exposed to negativities

he's a complex character with a unique way of dealing with things

you may or may not be like him but what i can assure is that you understand him

you have the capability to see pass someone's persona

you like him because somehow you could see through him

maybe that is how you are in real life, you may be either aloof or friendly but there are times when you would sit in a corner and observe people

you are drawn to people who are misunderstood a lot

you like knowing what makes that person act the way they are

and unlike others bakugo's sudden outbursts and rude comments do not affect you at all

like, you don't take it seriously

albeit, you probably find his short temper entertaining,

you are not a sensitive person

chances are you are not fainthearted as well

and another thing

competitiveness

perhaps you like someone who knows what they can do but at the same time knows that they still have rooms for improvement

you don't fancy narcissists (bc he isn't one) but rather you like someone who can live up to their confidence

don't hate me on this but

do you have the urge to 'fix' someone

or feel the yearn to be acquainted with their wounds and be with them during healing time?

im likelihood, the answer to that is yes

there are times that you trust them more than you trust yourself

i mean, come on we all have our own abilities (in bnha, a quirk ) that is as amazing as the others

you know what you can do

so don't settle for the supporting role

this is your story, your novel, and you are the main character

just because you may view yourself weaker than everyone else doesn't mean it's true

you have to find your own quirk and aim for the best for yourself

your past does not entirely define you

you have a whole future to become who you want to be

like uraraka, you have yet to bloom

and when you do the world won't be able to take their eyes off you

TW FOR ODD LOOKS AND STARES/BULLYING(ISH)

BAKUGO

Bakugo wasn’t really sure when he first met you about why your head was twitching or why you were repeating the sentences Aizawa had said sometimes, as he didn’t know you had tourettes. He never even spoke to you like the others did so you never had the chance to tell him until Kirishima did.

When you two started dating he started seeing patterns of when you would get to stressed and start jerking or spouting out random things you heard from youtube videos, he did his best to make sure you knew he was there for reassurance, whether it was a hand on your hand or just pure presence.

There were times when you would have ticcing fits and he would have to sit and rub your back and watch you, and in those times you realized he really was there for you.

He likes to do this thing where he rants on about things he doesn’t like to try and distract you- I’m not sure how he has so much he doesn’t like but every time it’s a new odd topic....sometimes it can literally be something like how he hates trees because when it’s fall he has to rake up the leaves and you have to say

“Bakugo they literally help you not die.” It really is a mystery sometimes how he’s so smart.

Sometimes you can be a bit upset with your tics. It’s not that you’re insecure or that you’re ashamed, but they’re difficult to deal with. The control that you could have isn’t there and that’s stressful in and of itself, and in those moments Bakugo realizes the best thing he can do for you - is make you understand that you are just like the rest of the class and the rest of the people in the world.

“Listen it doesn’t matter if you’re different because to me you’re still cool, you’re still funny, you’re still incredibly sarcastic and while I don’t enjoy that for the most part- you’re my extra regardless of whatever you feel. Get that bull out of your head.”

I mean, he wouldn’t date anybody less than the best.

MIDORIYA

Midoriya is the predictable character in the relationship. He researched about Tourettes and what he could do in times when you needed him, I mean he’s not perfect but he’d rather know something rather than nothing.

You tended to be the one who was more of a risk taker, and sometimes your tourettes got in the way of that- which could frustrate you to no end then causing harsher tics like hitting or yelling, and those were the times Midoriya tried to get anything too dangerous either out of your hands- or just out of the way so you didn’t get hurt, he was smart with it.

Other times he could be too much for you, almost treating you like a kid so you had to remind him that you know and understand precautions, but that you also want to live like everybody else and that is nothing short of your business.

You’re favorite activity with him was when he would help you study because he made it so fun for you. It could be hard to pay attention in class sometimes and do your work after school so Izuku would come over and assist you. He would make sure you guys took breaks and that you understood the topic at your own pace.

“Izuku can you like- give an example?”

“Well it’s just kind of- wait what is an example-“

In many situations Midoriya LOVED holding your hand, like he did it at any time, any place. It was something he thought wasn’t too much in public and it was reassuring for you both. When you’re tics got too much you could squeeze his hand, and other times when he wouls get anxious or something would happen he would squeeze yours. It was cute and handy!

There were instances when Midoriya definitely had his mistakes with your tics and how to deal with them but he was willing to take his time and learn because who would he be without his perfect person stayin’ by his side?

KIRISHIMA

Kirishima is probably the most sympathetic with your tics because he stay prepared for them. It’s never been like “Kirishima can you” but it’s always been more like ‘Kiri how do you always know’ and there’s never been an answer that he gave other than ‘I gotta stay ready for my lovely lover~’

Kirishima likes to do this thing where he goes “neck” after you have a rough day with your tics and with massage your neck for you or your back, depending on how your tics were. He likes takin’ care of you, and it’s not like he doesn’t know you can’t take care of yourself because hey, you didn’t get into 1-A by being a pushover.

Sometimes you’ve had times when people in school just aren’t all that accepting and Kirishima will clap back unprovoked.

“Sometimes I think about how sad you have to be to make fun of them and dang man, you got a therapist?”

Other times you’ll basically respond for him, like I said, you can DEFINITELY take care of yourself.

Whenever you’re in the car or on the bus on a trip in the case that you’ve gotten real excited (which is natural being around your boyfriends and your friends at the same time) he’ll play this playlist he made of your favorite songs and sing to distract you. Does he sing well? That wasn’t the question- but he does sing, only for you though because the other students keep dissing him.

He has a reflex of rubbing your back during free period or at lunch. I don’t think this is relevant but it’s something super adorable, and sometimes he just gives you his hand to look at and play with when you have anxiety as well to keep you calm.

Also irrelevant but other times he’ll facetime you before you guys go somewhere and ask what to wear because he wants to match with you, and it’s so cute because you could lie so hard and he’d believe everything you say.

You two are kinda a power couple like- you both can hold your own but also are such nice people, good job makin’ the rest of 1-A feel lonely guys.

TODOROKI

Todoroki is a simple guy. He doesn’t want to overcomplicate things for the most part because “why would I act like your guardian, if I’m literally your boyfriend” and that’s that.

He tends to try and keep you calm, as it’s something pretty simple for him, he knows a bunch of tactics for distractions or when those are obsolete, he’ll just sit there with you, and maybe rub your back or get a water bottle for when it’s done, he just never wants to do too much because he knows your capabilities, and he knows your limits.

He is also a large hand holder. Mostly because he doesn’t like the idea of PDA for the most part, and he doesn’t like leaving your side either, because you’re very comforting to him. It’s a given we all know he needs love and comfort please.

There have been times when people look at your because of your tics in public and Todoroki has had to give a little glare back because of the disrespect being blatantly put out. In rarer times you will both glare at the same time, those are the coolest moments of you as a couple.

Shoto doesn’t really care much for your tics only because he’d rather just make sure you’re ok then watch Avengers rather than treat you like a child if anything, and that’s because you told him first that you wanted a boyfriend not a babysitter (speakin’ facts) and at first he didn’t understand and he thought you didn’t want his help but soon understood otherwise.

Some cute things I like to think of are that he likes to put on your favorite songs when you’re anxious and try to dance for you. It’s not good- let’s start with that, because he’s kinda...stiff, but the attempt is absolutely adorable (and oh so funny).

Other things are he likes to call you cheesy nicknames when you’re cuddling because he likes your reactions everytime, because according to him, yeah he said it himself, you are very adorable when annoyed. Don’t @ me!

Overall he just loves spending time with you whenever he can, you’re truly a safe-haven for him.

Alright tourettes is a real thing y’all, so I didnt make this rainbows n cupcakes bc im sure that’s not always how it is.

Seething with anger, you swing open the 1-A classroom door with Todoroki on your heels. You attempt to slam the door shut on him, but he was too quick. He reached for your arm, but you flinched away. You’d sooner face an army of villains than let the man who just made a fool of you touch you.

“Y/n are you serious right now?”

“Are you serious right now Todoroki Shoto? You literally just said I’d be the worst hero in front of the entire class!” You exclaimed as you gestured to the class, shuffling in their seats in reaction to your argument.

“I didn’t say that, I just said that you wouldn’t be able to fight on your own like everyone in the class can. There’s still a lot you can improve, but you haven’t been putting in the work.” Todoroki states calmly.

You stare at him dumbfounded, thinking of all of the times had asked him for help with training to which he declined every time. Each one of those times, he declined because he already promised Momo to help her train.

“No you’re totally right,” you say sarcastically, “I definitely haven’t been putting in the work. Yeah, I mean, all of those hours I’ve spent alone training really didn’t account for anything, huh? I guess, by that logic, you could also say that your training sessions you have with Momo are a waste of time too?”

You wait for a response from either Todoroki or Momo. Neither of them answers quick enough for your liking.

“If you say I’m the worst hero in this class, then why do you spend so much time helping Momo but not me? Actually, better question, why even train with Momo when I’m your partner!?” You scream.

“Momo is my best friend, y/n, I want her to succeed and I want you to succeed,” Todoroki explains.

“Y/n it’s really not what you think-“ Momo starts before you cut her off.

“Momo, I know you have probably have a good explanation, but I’m not mad at you as much as I am this mess of a person right now,” you say as you gesture to Todoroki.

“I just don’t understand how you have the audacity to say that I’m a bad hero when I know I’m a bad hero that's why I’m asking for your help Todoroki,” you yell while looking straight into his eyes.

You see something snap in his eyes, almost as if bringing up your self-awareness of the issue was the last spark needed to start the fire.

“Well if you know that, why don't you just give up?!” Todoroki exclaimed. The fire in his eyes extinguished with the realization of what he just said to you.

Your resolve shatters as you stand there like a deer in headlights. After a beat, you slowly gaze around the classroom, just now remembering that you with your peers. One of your biggest fears is now the entire class's knowledge and you were too shocked to fight back. Without a single word, you quickly left the room and headed for the dorms. Todoroki was left with the pieces of your shattered heart in his hands.

It’s been an hour since your argument with Todoroki when you hear a knock on the door of your dorm. Raising your head from your tear-stained pillows, you contemplate not answering until you hear,

“I’m sorry,” from Todoroki on the other side of the door.

You roll your eyes as you get up to open the door.

"What?" you say to him firmly while clenching the side of the door.

Instead of answering, Todoroki just silently hands you a box. You eye him before slowly opening the lid, revealing the hero supplies you desperately wanted. All the objects in the box were things that you mentioned to Todoroki in one way or another. You would hug him if he wasn't the absolute worst right now.

"I hope you like them," Todoroki said softly.

"Of course I like them but," you gesture for him to come inside your room, "I'm not taking this as an apology, you know that," you say closing the door.

"I know, which is why I'm going to apologize right now," Todoroki says.

You set the box on your desk and pull out a chair for him to sit on while you sit on your bed.

"I'm sorry," He says with his usual monotonous voice.

There's a long pause as you look into each other's eyes.

"Is that seriously it?" you scoff.

"No, I'm just thinking of how to continue," taking a deep breath before continuing, "I stepped out of line today. I didn't mean when I said you should give up, you should never give up, Y/n. I've been training with Momo recently is because I already promised that I'd help her for a couple months. Plus, Momo actually likes Jirou, if that had anything to do with you being upset. Actually, yesterday was the last day of our training and I already have something planned with you for our internship next week," Todoroki explains.

You raise your eyebrows as he reaches in his pocket and pulls out a letter. Handing it to you, you skim over it quickly.

"Your dad invited me to intern with him?" you say in disbelief.

"Well, I technically invited you, he just needed to sign it so the staff doesn't get skeptical since we're going to be training together without him," he says as you reread the letter, "We're basically just going on vacation together, but instead of the beach and swimming, it's just going to be at my house and training," he continues.

He puts his fingers under your chin to raise your head.

"I'm sorry, I love you so much," he says with glossy eyes.

You felt the pure truth drip from the words he just uttered.

"I forgive you and I'm sorry too," you begin, "I should have heard you out completely," you finish.

You kiss him softly on the lips before quickly pull away to whisper in his ear, "If you ever yell at me again in front of the class, I will not hesitate to slap you,"

"Completly understandable," he says with a chuckle.

You grin as he brings you into a delicate embrace, holding you like he never wants to let you go.

i feel like he would give you something quite small, but something that you can always be reminded of him by when you have it

it would probably be something you can wear with his name on it or both of your names put together but he would definitely act as if it wasn’t a big deal

like you would be like “thanks katsuki, you’re so sweet” “stop thanking me, i just did it because people get gifts for others when it's their birthday"

i feel like he would also not want to make it a big deal bc he wouldn’t want people think he’s some big softie for you so he would act as if it wasn’t too much to get done

you would probably spend the day with everyone else, celebrating your special day, but he would want some alone time with you in the evening

you would either play games together inside or watch a movie together or even just lay outside on the grass of the ua dorm building and look up at the stars (it's entirely up to you!!)

i feel like there are two ways he would find out about your birthday

number one is he overheard someone in the class talking about your birthday coming up and he would immediately take note of it or he literally just asked you

you wouldn’t really think nothing of it since he didn’t know your birthday before if it was the second option (and he would just want to know), but he would make sure to prepare like a least a few weeks earlier

he would probably get you something quite expensive (obviously using his dad’s credit card skfnf)

it would probably be like something that you’ve really wanted and you’ve talked to everyone about it, so he probably just overheard or you’ve even talked to him about it

and seeing your eyes light up as you talk about it, he would just feel so motivated that it was the perfect gift for you

and it definitely would be, since you never thought he would get it for you, but he would say that it didn’t even cost that much and you don’t need to give him anything back bc it's your special birthday (as if you would have to get anything back for him on a normal day skfsnfn)

he would also treat you to gifts throughout most of the day, whether that be taking you shopping or taking you to get food or even going to a theme park

he wouldn’t care as long as he was with you

the day would probably end with you both taking a walk somewhere (probably to the park) and you would just sit on a bench side by side and just admire the surroundings around you

i just have a feeling that she would know skdndb

either by finding out from one of her classmates or just overhearing you talking about it from someone else asking you when your birthday is

she would definitely prepare something and she may also start to doubt how much you would like your gift

but anything from jirou would be a gift skfnf

she’s been preparing her gift for a while, and she’s quite nervous about it, but she wrote a song about your relationship omg

it’s just overall so adorable and she would probably wait until the evening to perform it to you

you would just be sitting in her room together and she would be like “i have something for you, which i hope you’ll like”

you’re honestly quite confused bc you didn’t really expect her to get you a gift since the whole day had gone by and she hadn’t given you anything

she managed to keep it a good secret and the song would just be about how much she loves you and about the different qualities you possess and what she loves about you (which is everything but she manages to fit everything into a 4 minute song)

literally hug her after she finishes bc it was amazing, like everything about it was amazing

the way she managed to make the guitar sound so soft and the tune was so slow and soothing

and her voice, her voice is just perfection

it would just be the best birthday gift ever

midoriya

he just straight up asked you and scribbled it in his notebook skfnfn

nah cus he’s been preparing this for MONTHS and he’s so nervous about it and especially when he’s around you as your birthday gets closer

so you probably know what he’s planning just bc it’s so obvious but bless him for trying skfnfn

i feel like he would get you something probably that he made or something that’s really special to him (and no it would not be some all might figure kdfn)

he would start the day off by getting you your favourite flowers as he knocks on your room door at like six in the morning

you would usually hate people waking you up this early but seeing him give you flowers and telling you happy birthday with the perfect grin on his face, you can’t help but not be mad

he would probably get everyone to say happy birthday to you like even bakugou would probably be forced to say smth or he would mutter it under his breath

he would make sure that you have a cake and that everything has to go according to plan, he would definitely be the whole leader of the day

then after the whole party is over, he would take you to a special place (either where you had your first date or where you first met) and he would just prepare a picnic for you both

it would be really sweet and he would end up giving you a special piece of jewellery or one of those matching jewellery that connects when you put it together

he would probably have to end up saving up most of his money for it, and he wouldn’t even mind bc it would be spent on you which would give him more motivation

“i hope you had a great day! it took a lot to prepare all of this and i really hope you enjoyed it! i mean even though, the candles arrived at least two minutes late than the designated time, and the cake had a darker shade to the outline than what i had requested and the-”

then the muttering starts, you’re gonna have to stop him and assure him that you had an amazing day and it couldn’t be more perfect since you appreciate all the hard work he had done

momo

she definitely just asked you like it would just seem like something she could easily slide into the conversation and she wouldn’t even notice like “y/n, when is your birthday again?”

and you would just answer her and not think anything of it, she would probably hear about when your birthday was from someone else but she would want to confirm from the person herself just to have a second source that was 100% correct

she would definitely go all out for your birthday, no doubt

she would make sure that at least everyone in the class knows and that everything would go according to plan which it would

she would probably take you out shopping and if you dislike shopping, she would take you to somewhere that you do like and would allow you to spend how much money you want

you would be quite unsure at the start since you don’t want to spend too much of her money but she would say that it’s for your birthday and she wants to treat you so she would insist on it

and don't keep declining bc at this point she’ll think that maybe she should’ve tried harder and she’ll start to doubt herself so please just spend her credit card skfnfn

she would probably get you something quite extravagant after the whole going out trip

whether it be an expensive piece of jewellery or some expensive clothing that you really wanted, she would make sure to get it for you

it would just be really sweet and she would probably be blushing whilst giving it to you after she sees how much you love it

for this one, let’s just say that you’re probably a pro hero also or you work at the school (it’s up to you)

he would probably overhear about your birthday coming up from another person, but he wouldn’t think much of it, he would just keep it in mind

on the day of your birthday, you would spend the morning in bed and he would probably get you breakfast in bed, just bc he would want to stay in bed for most of the morning also sjdnf

but if you wanted to actually do smth for the rest of the day, then he would oblige since it was your birthday

you would be able to do whatever you wanted to do, while he follows you around and tries to enjoy himself but he just enjoys being with you

he would end up giving you a ring (smth similar to a promise ring) but he wouldn’t admit it was a promise ring sjnffn

“i just thought it looked nice, don’t think much of it” he would say something similar to this but he would just say that to hide how flustered he is after seeing you appreciate it after opening the box

the day would be similar to a normal day, but just with you being able to enjoy yourself without having to be around the students or (if you’re a pro hero) having to fight villains all day

Been a while since I’ve made a bnha post on this blog but I wanna talk abt 319 bc I just reread it and I have Thoughts. This probably won’t be very organized knowing me so I hope it makes sense lol

Firstly, I was so happy to see our class-a crew again. I didn’t realize just how much I missed them until I saw them all gathered together in the dorms. And of course the thing that brought them together was midoriya. It’s like aizawa said during the licensing exam arc: midoriya has a constant presence and influence on every member of the class, even when he isn’t with them

Their little meeting all comes together in this moment right here:

Every member of class-a is worried about deku. All they want to do is see him safe and sound, but they also all know him well enough to know that he isn’t going to be thinking of himself and his safety. So they come up with the best solution: tell him how much they care. Make contact with the heroes he’s with, and they eventually get to him. Also sidenote: ururaka looks absolutely gorgeous in that last panel

So they do exactly that. They “be a little pushy” and finally get into contact with endeavor to convince him to help. And one thing that felt so powerful to me was this panel right here

I’ll admit it was a little strange to see them all in their uniforms again bc it feels like it’s been so long, but I feel like that only added to the effect. They’re presenting themselves as one united front that won’t take no for an answer. Even bakugo has his uniform done up right, tie and all.

I feel like that really speaks to his development and how far he’s come from the bully we saw way back in the first volume. He’s able to work alongside others and be a part of team and even look the part too.

(A little bit of a tangent but I’ll admit, I didn’t like bakugo at first. I thought he was only a bully and an asshole and that he could never be anything else. I started to change my mind around the sports fest, when izuku talked about bakugos opening speech. He mentioned “the old kacchan” and that kinda forced me to realize that bakugo would be changing no matter what. Now he’s one of my favorites and I’m really proud of how far he’s come. But anyway, back to the chapter at hand)

Going back to the “united front” panel, another thing that really struck me was the looks on everyone’s faces, especially minas. She’s always very animated and dramatic with her expressions and body language, so it’s strange to see her so toned down and serious. Just a another reason why this panel sticks out to me

Anyway, moving on. We have iidas final speech before we return to the present where the class has joined deku

It’s a common thought among the fandom that iida is Class Dad, and we see that here. Deku is one of his best friends, so of course he’d “follow him wherever he decides to go.” It isn’t surprising that he’d say that for himself. But the fact that he speaks for the class as a whole, saying all of them would follow deku to the ends of the earth, that speaks volumes to me. That’s why I see this as a Class Dad moment and not just as best friend moment. He speaks for the class because he can, and he knows his class well enough to know that none of them will disagree. It’s touching just how much he cares, not only for deku, but for all of class-a

And I want to speak on the facial expressions of the rest of the class again. They all look mostly determined, but you can see they look a little sad as well. It’s especially clear to me on momo and todorokis faces. I feel like momo has probably found a way to blame herself or take responsibility for not seeing how much deku was dealing with (which is absolute bs. She didn’t notice anything because deku didn’t want her to. He didn’t want anyone to). Todoroki looks more angry and determined in the group shot, but that close up in the first panel. He’s upset that one of the only people he considers a friend would leave the class behind and be so reckless with himself. He honestly looks a little lost to me

This post has gotten a whole lot longer than I originally wanted/planned/expected so I’m gonna try to wrap it up quick oops. If you’ve read all the way through: thanks for sticking with me so far!! We’re almost at the end I promise!!

I’m putting these two sets together because I feel like they should be

At first dekus confused, and of course he is. Why are they here? How did they get here? How did they find him? And ururaka answers honestly and sincerely “because we’re worried.” Of course, dekus quick to reassure them “I’m ok” because that’s the kind of hero he wants to be. He’s said so many times before: he doesn’t want anyone to worry about him. But it’s obvious that he’s not ok and bakugos quick to point it out. He’s sarcastic and rude because that’s how he always acts towards deku. He wants things to go back to normal and he’s gonna do what he can to make sure they do

And the smiling thing. That’s something that’s been huge in this series since the beginning. deku wants to save people with a smile, but in these recent chapters, it honestly looks like he’s forgotten his dream. And once again, bakugos quick to say something. He’s the one who’s known deku the longest and (arguably) knows him the best, so it makes since that he’d be the one to remind deku of his dream. It’s another way of trying to get back to normal

And now these two panels. They’re absolutely heartbreaking

Dekus changed so much and not in a positive way. His friends have tried talking, but that hasn’t done shit, so they’re going to help the only way they can: beating the self care into deku like their lives depend on it. They’re hero students, they’re “actions” people not “talking” people. As much as it hurts me, the only way I can see this ending is with a fight
