Like Floyd, Jade is heavily interested in you, seemingly curious to your skills and strengths, wanting to observe and see for himself how strong you could really be, and my my do you not disappoint!

While he and his brother are known to be polar opposites, theyre more alike than people give them credit for, because just like Floyd, Jade liked to stick with more interesting people, and boy have you piqued his interest greatly

While he thought you were rather dull at first, your strenght definitely intrigued him, even more so when you're just a freshman

You wouldnt see it in his face as he remained his composure because, well, he's Jade after all, but the surprised look he gives for a brief second was there and you swear left and right you saw it

Regaining his composure rather quickly, his suprised face curved into am amused smile,

"My my aren't you interesting? Perhaps you can spare some time and visit monstro lounge later? I'll be working on my shift, of course but you can always talk to me," he said, a polite smile painted on his features

As the two of you got closer though, it would be less of him treating you like some sort of creature and more of him praising your skills

Food is Important

Author’s Note: I decided to change the reader's gender to gender neutral since I just write in the second person point of view.

Helloooo! May I request headcanons for our lovely Trey, Ruggie and Jamil receiving tasty food daily from their female s/o who's a chef? When asked why, she says that she wants to see them well-fed.

Pairing: Trey, Ruggie, & Jamil x GN!Reader

Warning: GN!Reader

You were taught by your father figure that food was sacred and that you should use up every piece of what your given, even the bones. You were unsure about his teachings and didn’t believe him. After a small voyage going to ruins, you both got stuck on a remote island with limited rations of food and waited for rescue. You remember the constant presence of death and hunger clawing at your empty stomach, there were few occasions when you were ready to die while you waited for a ship. You realized that your teacher had rations and thought about stealing his, only to find out he gave you everything so you could live. After that, you fully trusted him and his teachings, even if you two bickered back and forth, which made you into the skilled chef you were today. He also taught you to respect food and to always feed those in need.

When you arrived at Ramshackle, you had to make do with what was given to you which led you to exploring the botanical garden and even started our own garden for ingredients. Your food was well known and spoken of well, some say that your food has a healing factor to it.

Trey

He has heard and tasted some of your leftovers that you sent with Ace or Deuce. He asked about some of your recipes. He's impressed by your talent and is a bit insecure about his baking until you told him that his baking was spectacular. You both end up exchanging recipes and having small cooking dates as well as shopping dates.

This man has to take care of his entire dorm and it may look flawless. Helping students with almost anything and listening to them when they need someone to listen. He also makes sure the dorm doesn’t burn down. Even though Riddle works hard as the dorm leader, Trey has his load of work as Vice as well as student. We all know that deep down he is tired and probably collapses from exhaustion.

He woke up in his bed to a faint savory aroma as he sat up and grabbed his glasses to see a small thermometer with a note attached. Adjusting his glasses, he read your note about how he should take better care of himself and to not let his dormmates push him around as well as him to get better. Sipping the tempting soup, he immediately felt back at home as the nostalgic taste hit his tongue, causing him to relax a bit. He smiled and continued to enjoy your soup.

For a while, you would always drop off soup or lunch for him to eat which he enjoyed every single one and asked why you were giving him food before hearing you said that you wanted to make sure he was well fed since he was always busy and needed to balance out his sweetness. Congrats, you made Trey blush and break a bit before he heartly laughed at your response then gave you a kiss.

Ruggie

He understands your rule of using every piece of your ingredients in some way, considering his past. He understands the feeling and doubts you at first when you offered free food. Usually, he would either figure out his lunch or Leona would just let him use his card to buy lunch.

There was a day when he had nothing prepared and Leona was off campus for some family reason, he was considering eating dandelions before noticing a small bento box in front of him. Looking around the cafeteria, he noticed you walking away with your own lunch. Who was he to deny free food? He opened it to see a picturesque bento and immediately started drooling at the aroma before finally digging in. One bite and he was in heaven, angels singing and all that. He ate every last bit of that lunch and gave you the container back then the cycle started of Ruggie eating your prepared meals. After a while, he would ask why you were giving him lunch, not that he minded. When you told him he should feed well, he almost got down on one knee.

You always catch him trying to steal food and always tell him to be patient while you work. He would challenge you to try to make different dishes with strange ingredients. He also found out that you're scary with knives.

He invited you back for winter break so you could meet his grandmother and share your cooking with her. When you insisted, I cook for his grandmother, he noticed you making a large batch and found it a bit weird before noticing a couple pairs of ears in the window sill. He found it hilarious as all the neighborhood kids crowded around the window, curious about you and the aroma you created. By the time you finished, you brought out some bowls that Ruggie got from Sam's and started serving him and his grandmother before taking some bowls outside to give to some of the families who gathered around. His grandmother told him to make sure to marry and treat you right.

Jamil

He's heard about your food through Kalim as well as Ace and Floyd at practice. He has eaten your food and agrees with the praise you receive. Same as Trey, you both have cooking dates and would trade spices. He tried telling you that you didn't have to help with preparing food for a party Kalim invited you too. He would trade lunches with you, giving each other a taste of the other’s food.

“Take a break,” You answer. “I brought food.”

There was a time when Kalim came to you and told you that Jamil was slowly overworking himself. You decided to try to persuade Jamil to take a break and you decided to use some powerful tools. Food and love. You made a home meal, packed some up and left for Scarabia, leaving enough food for Grim. You greeted Kalim and a couple of people before heading towards Jamil’s room. And knock before going in to see him sitting at his floor desk with his headphones on. Quietly, you take off your shoes before walking over to set the bag next to him before wrapping your arms around him and kissed his cheek. Surprisingly and thankfully, he did not flip or attack you at that moment as he kept his attention on his homework as he kissed your cheek back. Lovey dovey Jamil, a privilege you get in private. You sat there, hugging his middle as he continued to work until he put his pencil down and turned towards you.

“Yes, my diamond?”

“Did Kalim put you up to this?”

“Not entirely, besides you deserve to be well-fed, and I am not letting you go until you put your homework.”

He decided to test your threat which lasted a couple hours until he gave up and took a break. He appreciates and cherishes you for being there and reminding him to take a break. He wanted to spend the rest of his life showing all the love he has and taking care of you like you do to each other.

Part 3 of the confessions!! Finally!!!

A/N: fair warning, I wrote half of these in the middle of my health class and the other half at two in the morning- so they might seem rushed sorry<3 Also thank you Cater for coming home.. Not once.. BUT TWICE!!

Warnings: I have no idea how to write Jack-, and like usual not proofread-

GN!reader using the in game nicknames though (Shrimpy, sweet potato)

Characters: Vil Schoenheit (464 words), Jack Howl (414 words), Floyd Leech (448 words)

Vil Schoenheit:

Vil would most likely hear of you through Rook before he actually met you in person, though from what he heard from Rook you were at least interesting

and you met face to face when you, Epel and the rest of the first years were hanging out. You know the usual bickering between Epel and Vil, though Vil did talk to you for a moment or two

he wasn't mean or rude, but wasn't really nice either.

he'd most definitely be one of the people who needs to talk and interact for at least a week before he developed an opinion on you.

a week passed and his actions didn't really change more time passed and he stayed the same, Vil couldn't make out his feelings towards you.

though he would suggest skin care and makeup products that he thought would do you good. But it's not in a backhanded way either, it's almost like he's the complete natural around you.

truth be told, he had partly figured out his feelings after a few months, he didn't dislike you, though at the same time it was still difficult to figure out how he felt

Epel was getting annoyed with how much time Vil was spending around you, "are you in love with them or somethin'? With all the time you spend around them you might as well be"

Vil scolded Epel for his accent and making such an accusation about his dorm leader, but Vil wouldn't admit that that he never thought that he might love you.

the thought felt right to him, so his neural slowly turned nice towards you, though in public it was very much on the down low.

he would wait till he's had a crush for a while to think of how to confess, though when he does find a way, I have a feeling that it’d be really romantic.

Vil strikes me as a person who would do something in a cheesy romance movie and think it’s the most romantic shit ever, problem is it works and he comes off as a complete romantic.

He would most likely invite you to try a new skin care routine he’d make light hearted conversation with you and drop some flirty remarks such as:

“My my, you do look beautiful today sweet potato, did you put more care in yourself for me? I’m flattered!”

And they’ll come at the most random times too, if you don’t get the hint and are really fucking dense he’ll become more upfront until he practically confesses to you

“You know, everything I say about you is true, you do look absolutely stunning almost, if not all, of the time. Only someone like you is fit of being my partner, so what do you say, darling?”

Jack Howl:

Ever since Leonas overblot the Jack popped into the chaos group with the other three idiots, (ace, grim, and deuce)

Jack I feel like is the type of friend to regularly check up on you to see if your being healthy. Basically just eating and taking care of yourself.

A few times Jack brought you some extra food since he felt like you weren’t eating enough, he’d get super embarrassed if you mentioned it though.

Jack’s a little bit protective but not like possessive, he just wants to make sure your safe and well! he really just cares for you but doesn’t know how to express it in words.

Jack most likely came to the realization of his feelings on his own accord, I mean he has a lot of time to think during his morning runs, plus I can see him being really emotionally intelligent I don’t know why-

All of the things I just mentioned, they become a lot more common, and if you’re someone who likes to work out Jack might start asking you to join him in his routines.

Daily check in’s, some extra snacks everyday, and becoming a bit more protective of you are all things you can expect from Jack.

Now though you can usually catch Jack staring at you, when caught he’ll get flustered and turn away almost instantly. (Maybe a tail wag??? Depends on his mood..)

I can also see Jack giving you little potted house plants, think like succulents or maybe some cacti. He says it’ll help brighten up ramshackle a bit

As for confessions, I feel like Jack would be a little bit nervous and have a bit of a hard time approaching you about it. So he’d most likely not confess face to face (Kind of like Riddle in my other set of headcannons)

Though Jack’s better at keeping his head straight and not getting to worked up about it, don’t get me wrong though, he’s still nervous!

Jack would probably bring you a new plant to take care of, even if you already have a few in your room and slowly becoming a plant parent

He’d specifically give you a type of succulent called a Kalanchoe (They’re often associated with romance and love) with a small note on the pot of it.

it would most likely read:

“I like you, and I want to be with you.” Short and sweet, all the while he’s looking at the ground with his tail wagging.

Floyd Leech

This mother fucker- We already know Floyd is clingy and and loves affection, it’s kind of a given.

As a friend I can see Floyd teasing you and joking around you since he’s a silly guy, he’s always saying some sort of silly remark or some weird story he heard.

Use this power wisely, you could learn about a lot of things happening in the school, or you learn about a random mushroom Jade made him eat. No inbetween.

I can also see Floyd randomly just- collapsing onto you, like your just walking then all of a sudden you have a eel slumped over your back, head on your shoulder

Floyd is just a menace that’s a given, but now he’s your menace to deal with so good luck.

As for crush behavior, I want you to take that clinginess and just multiply it by like ten. Thought Floyd was bad before? Well good fucking luck you’re in it now!

surprise hugs? check. Popping up at random times to mess with you? Check. Sometimes following you around to make sure no one gets too friendly with his little shrimpy? Big ole’ check!

While Floyd has his moments hes not dumb so he can tell if he’s fallen for you, I mean that and Jade could tell if he changed at all

You now have Floyd attached to your hip at all hours he can be with you, need to go cause you forgot something at ramshackle? He’s coming with no arguments.

A lot more hugs! and I mean a lot, if you ask him to tone it down, he’ll respect it, but there will still be a lot of affection

I can see the confession being kind of accidental, like some random student won’t leave you alone and has an obvious crush on you

they won’t take the hint that you’re not interested and one day decide to confess to you... while Floyd is with you... oh boy..

At first Floyd just glare at him, and after a bit of silence he’ll just start laughing. like.. you know the kind of laugh i’m think of right?

The student would be put off and you might be a little confused but his mood changes from laughing and funny to serious real fucking quick as he leans down a bit to hug you from behind

“ This little shrimpy is mine. so leave them alone, unless you want to be in the hospital for a looong time.” The student runs off, and Floyd goes back to his happy self

“You know, we should just start dating already so you don’t have to deal with that anymore, what do you say shrimpy?~”

vrt: you were so lost in your own world, you barely sought to recognise my presence in the room. alx: are you jealous of my research now, veri?

❀ spending time together; they're almost always bickering together despite the fact that their degrees don't really align. because of this, they best each other in their specialised areas and can't exactly be competitive about it. the pair of them love reading together. his reading materials are always incomprehensible to alexi and she can't wrap her head around any of it but that's fine, veritas cannot stand the amount of political theories they read daily. the house is always quiet except for the faintest hum of classical music and their pages turning.

vrt: trying to speak to alexi whilst she's reading is almost as useful as talking to the sculptures in my study...

❀ not safe for work; since alexi struggles so badly with mathematics, veritas always tries to assist in teaching her. it's not easy when she's get more and more dumb on his cock with every thrust, babbling answers to equations she clearly hasn't even tried to work out the answer to - it's okay, on the odd chance she does get an answer right, she gets rewarded for a few seconds of mercy.

What Howl (oc) Thinks of every twst boy, + songs

Riddle

fun fun fun. Likes when he gets mad but is also just as eager to put someone in their place to make his life easier. Thinks he’s super smart and kind of an asshole but he puts up with their banter since they don’t break his rules (even if they bend them a lot) so overall 8/10 enjoy him. His song

Ace

Howl doesn’t dislike him but their fondness wavers on a near daily basis. The more issues he causes for them in particular the less they like him. On the flip side though, he’s entertaining. If howl was the one that had to make the deal with Azul like in twst canon then he and grim would be left in Azul’s clutches for a bit longer because they’re tired of babysitting. 5/10 it changes on the day. His song

Deuce

Best boy in the whole world. Absolute idiot but in the sweetest way possible. Howl wants to wrap him up in a blanket and study with him for hours his brain is so interesting. Favoritism is not even hidden. Would make a deal with Azul to save him tbh. They’re lab partners and both of the grades have gone up significantly since then. 9/10 he’s only a little dumb. His song

Trey

Honestly doesn’t have a hot take on Trey either way. They don’t really hang out but have mutual respect due to Howl simultaneously causing issues and fixing them in the same breath. 6/10 he’s fine. His song

Cater

Doesnt hang out with Cater often but he’s fun and always down to cheer on antics so positive impression. Sometimes Cater will sneak them one of Trey’s baked goods and they’re magicam mutuals. Also music lovers and geek out about that when together. 7/10 he’s fun but never see him a lot. His song

Leona

If it weren’t for the fact that Howl is annoying as fuck, they might be buddies. But unfortunately they just bicker and sometimes roughhouse. Not friends but not enemies either. More of mutually assured destruction. 4/10 he’s fun to piss off sometimes. His song

Ruggie

Shady ass dog boy. The fact that Howl refuses to work for Azul is a point of contention due to the fact that Howl also goes around complaining about being broke. Ruggie doesn’t like Howl but Howl overall has like, very little opinion on him. Likes his antics but they don’t talk. 3/10 eh. His song

Jack

Good boy! Howl loves to come annoy Jack! And Jack just deals with it because he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Somehow ends up getting roped into their antics but always comes out unscathed. 8/10 he’s very fun. His song

Azul

Oh boy. Well, Howl likes Azul, surprisingly, but their relationship is…interesting. Refuses to work for him and often annoys the shit out of him, but almost never actually causes trouble. Will police other Octavinelle students and do nice shit either for Azul or claiming it’s ‘from’ him (brought Malleus a box of cookies claiming it was from Octavinelle, suddenly all of Diasomnia was patroning at Mostro more often?? Wild.) uh but also sometimes they tussle legit. Overall 5/10 they’re frenemies. His song

Jade

Terrified of Jade but also thinks he’s literally so fucking cool. Refuses to admit it but wants his approval so fucking bad it’s embarrassing. Whether or not he knows isn’t obvious since he’s smug all the time but chances are, yeah he knows. Tries very hard to keep secrets from him, ends up panicking at dumb shit (tried to hide a bag of chips from him one time. They bought them with their own money and everything was completely normal, just panicked around him). Adores the terrifying eel man 9/10. His song

Floyd

Besties. Sort of. Content to be his little court jester because it’s funny, and is often most themself around him, but also very aware the whole time that one mood shift and they may no longer have a spine. Thinks he’s very fun though and he seems to agree so they are conditionally besties. 9/10. His song

Kalim

Is ready to throw down for Kalim for very similar reasons to Deuce. Adhd squad gotta stick together. Would hang out with Kalim more if Jamil wasn’t around all the time. Probably made matching t shirts for themself and Kalim and Kalim wears it all the fucking time. 10/10 so sweet and kind. His song

Jamil

Literally fucking hates him. The feeling is pretty much mutual. Doesn’t trust him whatsoever, he gives off rancid vibes, and it has nearly come to hair pulling between them. Nothing ever happened to cause the animosity in particular, but it’s there and neither one wants to bury the hatchet. 1/10 he’s kept Kalim alive this long and that’s worth 1 point. His song

Vil

Not really in the same circles but they’re surface level nice to each other. Howl made it a point to acquaint themselves with every housewarden and be on their best behavior so they’ve met maybe 5 times? Overall kinda neutral about Vil though. Seems kinda like a dick but not in a bad way just an ego way. 6/10. His song

Rook

Oh ho ho. These two play tag. Clearly Howl has something wrong with them considering they also hang out with fucking Floyd, but it’s fun for the terrors of campus. They often go into the woods and play something between hide and seek and tag, usually with Howl losing, then go and drink coffee. Sometimes Howl just yells, “I’m making pasta, want some?” To what looks like an empty room and then Rook just fucking. Appears. Scares the shit out of anyone that accidentally saw this (Jade and Azul). 8/10. His song

Epel

They bond over dirt and biting people. Doesn’t really talk to Epel for a long time but after going outside and screaming a very loud “yeehaw” and a string of filthy curses, Epel finally approached them. They still don’t really talk but sometimes Epel will approach them and just let out a string of curses. 6/10 no context needed to swear because it’s fun. His song

Idia

Board game club buddies! They play all the games Azul refuses to (aka anything chance based). Howl is still considered a normie, but a normie with good taste. They just haven’t had enough time to be exposed to true culture or whatever. Thinks he’s kinda condescending and an asshole but he’s emo so it’s tolerable because this is pretty normal. 7/10 he makes them watch let’s plays together. His song

Ortho

Literally adores Ortho and would die for him. There’s not much to say beyond that. Sometimes Ortho helps them escape Idia’s rants about anime or whatever. Howl brings him gifts often and they vary from plushies to stickers n shit. 10/10 baby. His song

Malleus

He’s a little scary since he’s fae and they’re very careful about what they agree to, but overall they’re tentative friends. Howl invites him to shit that he honestly doesn’t need to be a part of, he comes whenever he remembers. There’s not a lot of trust between them but there is amusement in the fact that Howl has no regard to the whole ‘prince’ thing and is instead just concerned with the fact that he’s a faerie. Not even worried about the dragon part either, instead gushes over that. 8/10 howl get your shit together. His song

Lilia

They don’t talk much but Howl did try and help teach Lilia how to cook so there’s that. It worked a little bit but he could still burn air if he wanted. Generally just a little touch of fear and a lot of respect for what they assume is a vampire. 7/10 genuinely can’t tell if he’s undead or just a bat. His song /j

Silver

Mostly just pities him? Spends a lot of time quietly researching narcolepsy and curses since he seems miserable in his own life. Makes him a plush in the shape of a bat that can be rolled up so he has something to lay on in class. They don’t talk much, more of a distant observation thing. 6/10. His song

Sebek

Bullies Sebek. Like, not physically, but will totally make fun of him in class if he acts like an asshole. Started shit with him the same day they met Malleus because they were irreverent and Sebek was not having it. Howl doesn’t feel particular annoyance but does find a bit of joy in fucking with him. Tried not to go too far though. 3/10. His song

Crowley

That’s their real boss. Since they don’t work for Azul, they do a lot of his work instead, much like the ramshackle prefect would. Ends up being the one to go through housewardens proposals due to not being under Azul’s control, get pocket money from it. Ends up doing a lot of admin work unofficially. Thinks he’s a fucking idiot though. 4/10 thanks for the money bro but you’re dumb. His song.

Crewel

Favorite teacher, enjoys every moment of class. Despite getting yelled at or punished, they adore this twink. One of the only people on campus that they actually listen to and obey. Tries to get good grades. 8/10. His song

Trein

Second favorite teacher. They’re a big history nerd and learning anything and everything about twisted wonderland makes them so, so unbelievably happy. Almost as annoying as Azul in class. 9/10. His song

Vargas

Least favorite person in twisted wonderland as a whole. Hates PE, hates this meathead, wants to fight him every time he asks them to do something they can’t don’t want to. Refuses to just confess that they’re hypermobile and physical activity genuinely just fucking hurts, which causes problems in so, so many ways, and instead just acts like an asshole. Doesn’t mind him when not in class but it seems he doesn’t exactly like them either. 2/10 Jamil is better in their book. His song

Sam

Absolute vibe, they hangin out. Howl is a good customer because they refuse to eat anything they don’t buy themselves so they’re just constantly over there. Sometimes just comes in to hang out and stock shelves if they’re bored, Sam doesn’t care. 7/10 it’s all chill. His song

Ambrose Scrap

Fucking hates this guy, they’re gonna fight. You guys don’t know about him yet though so I guess we’ll get back to it. This is just to say, they’re not best besties ever. 0/10 hates him more than Jamil. His song

People he never thought he would get to know closely, or even become friends with. ��Ruggie was a surprise, but he’d never forget the day they met. Some street smart kid trying to rob him, one gander at his unique magic and Leona could see his potential. Never did he imagine they’d have so much in common, or that he’d become his best friend. His first friend.

Then there was Vil. He remembered first meeting him when he had decided to finally accept his invitation to Night Raven Academy. One look and he knew he was going to have problems with that guy. Through the years, the two did nothing but bicker. Vil always had something to say, but he was powerful, smart, and maybe just a little good looking. Leona found it amusing to tease and annoy him. It was only fair given how much shit he took on the daily from the Queen of Pomefiore. Still, they’d found some kind of common ground, and while they still found ways to annoy each other, if Leona had a choice to choose someone at his side, it would be him.

Jack annoyed him his very first day he arrived in Savannaclaw. He reminded far too much of his brother. He was a loyal dog, honorable. Savannaclaw wasn’t build on honor, or integrity. Leona was sure there had been a mistake about how he ended up in his dorm. However, he’d come to learn that Jack was quite amazing. He was certainly naïve, and it would take some time to get him to understand just how the world worked, but his honor was something he realized he could learn a thing or two from. He wasn’t going to try and be better, he didn’t need to, but for his dorm? He could pay to shape up just a little. Jack would be leader of his dorm one day, Leona was sure of it. He was going to groom to be to leader and he would be better than him.

Lastly, there was Charles ( @farspirits ). Their encounter would forever remain unforgettable. He’d still never forgive his brother for dragging him to a Royal Sword Christmas party of all things. Then again, if he hadn’t done so, he never would have met that unspeakably blinding sunlight that Charles just seem to cover the land. First glance was obvious, Leona couldn’t stand him at first. He was persistent, and he kept sneaking on campus to talk to him. Leona would try to dodge him every chance he could get. It was almost as bad as Rook. And then somehow, he managed to grip his heart in ways the lion was foreign to. They would struggle, they were different, two different worlds, but Leona would truly be lying to himself if he said, he didn’t like the person he was when Charles was around.

Chapter 01: Gifts

“Secrets make women beautiful, but secrets make men what?”

…In a faraway land, there was a magical world called Hazard the Magic World that was surrounding by two main continents that divided by sea, 13 different kingdoms and 12 nations, connected with other worlds-The Dark World and the Human World. The two continents-The Zody Continent and the Solar Continent were the places people were living; The Zody Continent however under the ruled of Solar Continent.

There were many kinds of people living in these three worlds including the Human World; the ordinary people, the magical-wielding people, vampires, werewolves, lost souls. Those people, however, lived in peace although they were different types of people.

The most powerful family's influence among the 13 kingdoms was the Flame and Wind Royal Family Kingdom-The Kirishima Royal Family. The Hazard World was rule by the recent successor of Kirishima royal family-The Sun (Taiyo) Queen Kirishima Leona, the fire-wielding element and her half-sister-the Rose (Bara-hime) Princess Kirishima Malina-the wind-wielding element.

Magic powers and supernatural abilities are special kind of ability or power born to some of the people in these countries. People with magical or supernatural abilities were considering special and gifted, and most of the noble families in the kingdoms were magic and supernatural abilities-wielders. Between the three important worlds; Magic World, Human World and Dark World, mostly the strongest magical or supernatural abilities-wielders are from the Human World, followed by the Magic World and the Dark World. These people are usually neither from non-wielders' parents, suddenly awaken within their body of being chosen as a successor. Some of them even naturally possessed the powers through bloodline and heredity.

The Magic World had been in wars for many decades and centuries by many intruders from other dimensions. Since this world was the protector of Human and Dark World, many greedy enemies kept attacking this world several times until several battles and incidents were mark in the history of Hazard World. With the additional that the 12 main kingdoms possessed 12 magical crystals as their 'Guardian Protector', the invasions from the enemies had become more violence than before but managed been suppressed by the 'Guardians'.

It had been several decades since the last war when the war between the former rulers of Dark World with the other two worlds ended. For now, peace surrounded the world after the last, bloody battle with the other invaders was end. People in the kingdom, common or magic-wielders, continued their daily activities; going to the market, gossiping, children playing around.

However, inside the walls of Magic Academy’s hostel...

"Wah!"

Amari looked up from the desk where his notes and papers scattered over at his classmate's exclamation. He rose up as he wondered what exactly his friend was doing in her small kitchen area. He had seen her go into the kitchenette a few minutes earlier and assumed she was making tea for the boss. However, nothing could have prepared him for the sight he faced when he opened the kitchenette door to make sure she was all right. There, standing in the middle of the room, coughing and trying not to wave her hands against a fine powdery cloud, was a decidedly cocoa-y Hatano Yuki.

Amari could not help but bursting out in laughter at the sight of the girl as she struggled to keep from choking on the fine powder. Still, after what had happen six months ago that almost killed him and their other friends, Amari was surprise that Hatano had decided to make something that totally out of his real personality.

Hatano glared at Amari in return.

"It's not funny!" she said as she coughed.

Amari just laughed. "Ah, Hatano, why don't you get yourself cleaned up while I take care of this mess?" he said as he fought to control himself. From what he saw, Hatano had apparently been having trouble opening a container of cocoa when the lid suddenly came off, covering her and the floor with the powdery substance. He took a glance on the table where he saw a small mousse-filled chocolate layer cake.

‘Huh? Is there some special occasion? If it’s true, then for whom...?’

Hatano coughed as she put the container on the counter and left the kitchenette. It was not until several minutes later that she finally came back after having dusted her off and be cleaned up from her cocoa mishap. By that time, Amari managed to clean up the mess in the kitchenette and had put out new cups and put on some new water for tea. He already figured out what kind of event will be taking place that would include chocolate cake.

Yet, he was not that brave to bet for who that cake was...unless...

“Hatano, is that cake for the Valentine’s Day?”

Hatano stopped her movement and went stiff. Amari swore he could see red complexion slowly spread through his face and ears.

Bingo.

“Seems like you finally had gotten used with your current condition.”

“Yeah right, even now I’m still trying to find chances so that I could kill that damn Kaminaga! It’s his fault that the others and I got into this kind of situation, six months ago!” Said Hatano as she gritted her teeth. She seemed very mad now, as Amari tried his best to cool down Hatano.

So what exactly happened to them six months ago?

The D-Class is a special type class in Magic Academy where some of the students can participate or requested by high authorities to join their missions, sometimes they had to be the supporters for the people whom they called as ‘Guardians’ –the protectors who fought in secret from ordinary people. Hatano and Amari Toshiyuki were in the said class and had been participating in various missions too, but they were not on request list since eight months ago. Even so, some of their classmates including Sakuma Tomokazu, Fukumoto Kazuya and Jitsui Jun were put on ‘On-leave’ status as they were requested to join some missions in the Dark World.

That time, Hatano was originally a boy named Hatano Yuki.

Hatano and Jitsui were childhood friends, but lately the brown-hair started to realize that his feelings for Jitsui were more than ‘childhood friend’. It was deeper than before, always making his heartbeats faster whenever he was alone with Jitsui, but Hatano did not have enough courage to figure out his real feelings to the said boy. Miyoshi Hiro, one of his friends had often mentioning to him how coward he was, for unable to figure out his feelings before Hatano snapped at him, many times as well. Everyone knew that Miyoshi had a secret crush on Sakuma, but too proud to admit it. This usually ended up with them bickering with each other whenever the said topic was bring up and without the present of their crushes (but still within the classmates who knew they should not bother to tell anyone about it).

But something happened that change his fate and others forever.

During one of their usual classes, the D-Class was studying potion subject and had to make some experiments using their magical ability and calculation skills in mixing the potions. The remaining members of the class were having their lessons as usual, except that day they had to mix class with B-Class since many students were absent from sickness; but that day, Kaminaga Ryouhei decided to make some pranks by intentionally mixing the chemicals with wrong measures and ended up causing the lab exploded. Almost everyone managed to get out safely, but one of the female classmates –Arisaki Tomiko, realized that the D-Class was lack of four students. Tomiko, along with Amari and Kaminaga quickly rushed back to the lab as the smokes finally faded away, and found their missing friends unconscious but with no harm.

Oh, how wrong they were.

When they were being sent to the hospital, it turns out that the smoke was not an ordinary smoke!

Apparently, Kaminaga had accidentally created a ‘forbidden’ potion where it can change the structure of humans’ body and turned them into the exact opposite of their real gender! Everyone was surprise and asked him how he makes that potion. Unfortunately, he did not know how since he just grabbed anything he could reach at that time and never knew it could turn out like this. Such explanations were enough to make Tomiko kicked his ass off!

Worst, further inspection on the students who were caught by the smoke revealed that the effects of the potion were permanent and the boys had to live as girls from now on. An order had passed, requiring everyone who attends the academy to keep the said matter as secret. Kaminaga ended up got beaten by Tomiko and Hatano due to his idiot mistake, and changing the former boys’ lives forever.

Amari sighed at the bittersweet (!?) memories. At least, Kaminaga had stopped his pranks with the labs and chemical after the incident (along with death threats from Tomiko and one of their Arbitrators –Yuuki Hikaru [1]). Yet, he also knew that the sudden change in their lives had caused insecure, fear and nervousness; he sometimes could feel the worriedness within Tazaki Takahiro’s eyes whenever the topic of their future plans were brought up. He also realized that her relationship with Kaminaga seemed a bit strain, as the said guy seemed to avoid his best friend after the incident happened.

He remembered something about men and women and about secrets...well, what exactly made them the best people in the first place. He remembered Tomiko once told them, something about all best people are...

Amari jolted from his thought when Hatano threw the cocoa powder can into the dustbin and told him that she’s going to buy a new one, since the previous one had empty. Amari just nodded his head and said he will be locking the door once he collected the papers he borrowed from Hatano. Ever since Hatano changed his gender (accidently), he had switch his roommates with Kaminaga while Hatano with Tazaki, and Amari knew while he was formerly Hatano’s roommates, the situation turned out awkward as they no longer in the same condition and situation. Yet, Amari remained friends with Hatano and others since for him they were still his friends.

After some time collecting the papers and clean up the mess on the desk, Amari prepared himself to return to his room. He still needed to review his history and some defense spells for the tests in two days, and Hatano was one of few people that managed to write down the important notes since she sat at the front. As he opened the door, he almost jumped in shock when someone suddenly stood very close to him. When he saw who it was, he went pale.

The sun was shining, the birds were singing...

Love was in the air!

It's Valentine's Day - the day where, in Japan (of the Human World), girls gave guys chocolates ranging from obligatory chocolates, given to family or co-workers, to those given to the person they really liked. And things were no different for the people from Magic and Dark World, especially the students from the D-Class of Magic Academy. Hatano and the girls (thanks to Kaminaga’s idiocy that changed the ‘girls’ fate forever!) had decided earlier that, since Valentine's Day was on a weekday this year, the giving of chocolates would happen on the weekend. Therefore, the only people she would be giving chocolates to today were the people she worked with. Hatano had no doubt that Fukumoto, Amari, Sakuma-san, Tomiko-san (she’s more like a sister figure in the class) and Yuuki-san (their teacher-in-charge) would readily accept chocolates from her, as they really don’t mind about it (but Hatano knew that Sakuma was waiting the one from Miyoshi...puff) and yet she was likewise certain... pretty certain... a little uncertain... utterly unconvinced that her best friend Jitsui, would do the same.

Ever since the men had return from their mission in the Human World, they had gathered more attentions than before, and mostly the girls were always the one who crowded them. Jitsui also got more attentions from the girls than before.

Hatano felt annoyed.

Hatano grimaced slightly as she paused briefly to stare at the overcast sky above her; she had just exited the train station and was about to make the short walk from there to the academy hostel. Hatano shook her head. If only giving chocolates to her best friend were easy! Unfortunately, for her, this year was going to be her first attempt at giving that guy anything chocolate on this day.

Before he became a girl (AGAIN, THANKS A LOT KAMI-MIMI!), Hatano never gave Jitsui any chocolate ever since their childhood because they both always got chocolates from their female friends. However, after the unexpected incident that happened six months ago, Hatano was unsure whether she should gave Jitsui his chocolate.

Well...Hatano was no longer a boy...So....

Sighed heavily, Hatano started walking towards the dorm as she contemplated her attempts at giving Jitsui chocolate. That very first year, at first she had not given much thought into her gift and thought of bought Jitsui a small box of simple dark chocolates. But when she remembered the day where she and the girls saw a scene in a movie from Human World (which caused them to go for shopping in the said world the next day), Hatano realized she had to make her best effort to make something special for Jitsui.

-Flashback of the movie scene-

"Here Ryuki, these chocolates are for you," Aiko said as she thrust a tiny box of chocolates at her boss. Her cheeks were slightly flushed in embarrassment, and she desperately hoped he didn't notice.

Unfortunately, Ryuki just looked at her oddly and said, "I don't want them."

Aiko looked surprised at his flat refusal. "Ah, th-they're not meant for my t-t-t-true love o-or anything like th-that," she stammered flustered.

"What are you talking about?" Ryuki asked confused when he paused. His thoughts went to an incident earlier that day, when some of the girls working at Cat Eyes - the cafe on the main floor - tried giving him chocolates. He'd refused as, not only did he not know them that well, he had no idea why they would try to give him something like that in the first place. His eyes narrowed slightly as he considered his part-time employee. "Come to think of it, some girls tried giving me chocolate earlier today, as well."

Aiko looked away from his dark eyes as she stared out the window. "But... it's Valentine's Day," she murmured. "It's the day girls give guys chocolates."

Because Aiko was staring out the window, she didn't notice the blank, confused look that crossed Ryuki's face at her words. Aiko heard Ryuki sigh as he took the box from her hands and put it on her head. She automatically reached out and caught the box before it could fall. Aiko looked at her boss, but she couldn't decipher the expression on his face.

"I don't like sweet things," he said quietly, "so you eat them for me."

-End of the flashback-

Watching the footage was seriously the most unmotivated thing in the world, but it also made Miyoshi determined to capture Sakuma’s stomach AND heart with her own home-making chocolate (finally admit it, yay!). Despite her horrible skills in cooking, none of the girls and Kaminaga dared to say something that would irritate the said narcissist.

Odagiri knew how to cook, but usually the stuffs she made were some basic foods for lunch or dinner and she never made any desserts before. Mostly Fukumoto was more skillful in the said area. Therefore, she tried to do something different so that Fukumoto would be accepting her valentine gift, so she made him chocolate tea. Miyoshi decided to make dark chocolate crepes, knowing that Sakuma was not very fond with sweet things, while Tazaki decided to make just chocolate biscuits with pigeon shapes. These gifts surely shocking the men (except Amari and Kaminaga), after all they almost did not meet for 10 months.

While Hatano...well...she decided to make a not-too-sweet chocolate mousse-filled chocolate layer cake using a flourless cake recipe. All she needed to do was to put the finishing touches on the cake by sprinkling it lightly with both icing sugar and cocoa. While the recipe was a little more fiddly than she would normally make, she'd decided to try something homemade. This time though, having tasted the experimental results of the recipe, Hatano didn't mind having to eat her gift quite if Jitsui rejected her gift.

Shortly after arriving at the dorm, she opened the door without realizing there was an extra pair of shoes and Hatano went into the kitchenette in order to put the finishing touches on Jitsui's dessert as well as to make tea. Once that was done, she would wrapped it into a small box and take it to her best friend...

Only to find out that someone was already there, sat quietly while admiring the small cake on the kitchen island.

It was Jitsui.
