- Targeted Boycotts vs. Non-targeted Boycotts

We must strategically focus on a relatively smaller number of carefully selected companies and products for maximum impact. Companies that play a clear and direct role in Israel’s crimes and where there is real potential for winning.

1. Consumer boycott targets - The BDS movement calls for a complete boycott of these brands carefully selected due to the company's proven record of complicity in Israeli apartheid.

(Siemens, PUMA, Carrefour, AXA, HP Inc, SodaStream, Ahava, RE/MAX, Israeli produce on supermarkets)

2. Divestment targets - The BDS movement is pressuring governments, institutions and investment funds to exclude and divest from as many complicit companies as practical, especially weapons manufacturers, banks, and companies listed in the UN database of business involved in Israel’s illegal settlement enterprise, as well as the WhoProfits and AFSC Investigate databases of companies enabling the occupation.

(Elbit Systems, HD Hyundai/Volvo/CAT/JCB, Barclays, CAF, Chevron, HikVision, TKH Security)

3. Pressure (non-boycott) targets - The BDS movement actively calls for pressure campaigns against these brands and services due to their complicity in Israeli apartheid. We have not, on strategic grounds, called for a boycott of these brands and services, instead we strategically call on supporters and institutions to mount other forms of pressure on them until they end their complicity in Israeli apartheid.

4. Organic boycott targets - The BDS movement did not initiate these grassroots boycott campaigns but is in support of them due to these brands openly supporting Israel’s genocide against Palestinians. If these grassroots campaigns are not already organically active in your area, we suggest focusing your energies on our strategic campaigns above.

(McDonald's, Burger King, Papa John's, Pizza Hut, WIX, etc)

Remember, all Israeli banks and virtually all Israeli companies are complicit to some degree in Israel’s system of occupation and apartheid, and hundreds of international corporations and banks are also deeply complicit. We focus our boycotts on a small number of companies and products for maximum impact.

My idea was the extreme exposure to a non-magical being constantly being hit with magic, blot will go to the being to hopes and to devour the magic that’s used against them.

So Yuu is placed, with extreme excess magic, and blot galore, what’s Yuu gonna do??

The blot is going to attach itself to as much magic possibilities as possible. And turn its host into a magic eater, or a “soul eater”

I'm just imagining blot war machines. Imagine twisted wonderland World War Two. That would be horrifying.

Especially since Dr Facilier is canon to twst. He's Sam's great grandad or something, Lilia knew him I think. (Don't quote me I might be wrong on this detail) but either way princess and the frog being canon does, in fact, imply at least one world war given it was set in 1920s America. Big yikes.

Now I'm just imagining bullets made from blot infused metal though. Or mages throwing blot crystal grenades into enemy camps.

The magic eater concept I like, I've kind of mentioned that before. I think in that version of events, it would explain why Azul's signature spell is so taboo when used without a contract, since not only does it accumulate blot for him, but it's veeeery reminiscent of magic eating. I feel like someone would basically just become a giant vacuum, or kind of like a firelotus, just sucking magic up from anyone and everything. Blot, curses, enchantments, powers, potions, anything.

See my Overblot idea for Yuu was either the Blot accumulation not merging with Yuu’s body and becoming a layer on top.

Another idea

Yuu being a vessel for player, and when Player gets sucked in game, the vessel gets unstable and overblots that way

I actually did write an overblot Yuu oneshot/headcanons once and it's somewhere on this blog. I like the idea a lot. In my version, the blot wasn't like a layer on top but an illness/infection attacking its host. I don't think I fully explained it all so for any curious: here's overblot Yuu headcanons attatched to the overblot prefect thing.

Note: writing this part after the head-canons, realized that this kind of sounds like one of the infection aus going on over on TikTok. It wasn't intended to be that way but if anyone wants to use any of this concept for one of those, go ahead.

- The overblot injuries leave black blot stains that slowly deep deeper under the skin. Due to its nature being inky, the body attacks it to fight it off, cells trying to swallow the ink and then dying in the process, but unlike a tattoo, blot infested cells don't decay and instead continue to spread into the bloodstream

- and individual infected with blot becomes more volatile and can experience symptoms of hallucinations, memory issues, fatigue, improper circulation, insomnia, night terrors, dissociation, changes in personality, issues with verbal skills, headaches, nausea, and cystic growths.

- the infected May start mimicking behaviors of the person who overblotted prior to them. For instance, if the overblotted has certain triggers, they may find themself reacting to those, if the individual is abrasive, the infected may mimic that behavior, they may have cravings matching that of the individual, etc.

- the infected May find they can use slight amounts of magic, but that it can cause the staining to spread, lead to physical traits of the prior overblotter to appear, etc. It is highly unstable

- there is no publicly known cure for blot infection, but there are rumours that there is one. Certain government officials may be in contact with the agency who specialized in blot treatment and research to pick up an infected

- if the infected overblots, they can cause the infection to spread. The mundane are, in particular, weak to blot infection, though mages are not exempt either.

- Magestones can help slow the infection, as the crystal will remove as much blot as possible. It is not a cure.

- If cured of the infection, the victim does not remember what happened. Whether this is due to the illness or due to other circumstances, it is unknown and unquestioned.

- reminding the victim of their time while ill can cause the infection to return.

...now as for the vessel concept... 😈

I Can imagine that waking up one day to find that you can't control your own body would be terrifying for Yuu. Beyond the stress of the bullshit going on to wake up here as Yuu, as well as the bullshit going on with the entity currently occupying their body as well, I'd imagine that anyone would overblot. Imagine you're Yuu for a second - you wake up in a magic world with magic people and a magic cat and a bird guy shoving you into a house that's in slightly better condition than a literal crack den, then you wake up one day and find that you can't control your body anymore, there's someone else pretending to be you to all these people, you keep getting in fights despite not wanting you, you want to go home and you can't, you're starving because bird man doesn't want to do his job, and you're possessed by what you think is basically a demon.

Now, granted, canonically possession causes memory gaps for the possessed in twisted wonderland, but granted those are people with souls that get pushed down and quieted, and the ones possessing them are ghosts. It's a little different when you don't have a soul and someone else does.

Yuu would fucking snap at one point. "Oh? I Can finally Fucking go home?! Wait, which home? Mine or this goddamn demon's?! Why are we going there. WHY ARE WE HERE. MALLEUS. MALLEUS WHAT THE FU-"

Greetings, Mages and Mundane, I've returned from my year and some change absence (again), and this is my like, third post saying I'm going to be back but I swear this time I mean it

I've gone through a lot in the past year and made some really close friends who have occupied my brain. I've still been writing though! Pretty soon I plan to post some OCs I made for various things, primarily twst. Speaking of, if you're wondering what I've been up to, I actually run @mountainloversclub @howlofthedragon and I'm an admin on @gloomyronin. I also have @redapplearcadia, though that one gets used much less.

Ive recently gotten into Cookie Run Kingdom, Obey Me (Shake we date and Nightbringer) and various other little games, as well as Madoka Magica and Black Butler, all on top of Twisted Wonderland, so if anyone has suggestions/requests about any of that feel free to drop it in my inbox. I'll likely be going through and clearing out the roughly 50~ asks i have so...sorry for the spam

I mean, the mirror talks about souls and all, but being "colourless, shapeless, and vacant" doesn't sound very soul like, after all. I mean, even the mundane Have souls, don't they?

So really...what is Yuu?

What if all they have is a body now? What if this is just their afterlife?

Worn out bookbag

A girl comes to school every day.

And she always brings a bag.

This bag has rips and tears,

And the straps begin to sag.

You may wonder why she would use a bag so worn,

Strings bursting at the seams.

But this bag has more to tell,

Beyond, way more than it may seem.

The bag, adorned with pins,

Unpleasant as you see,

Sewn with care and love, embroidered pigs, and bows, and bees.

They seem dirty, indeed, with some thread loose from wear and tear,

A bag so adored that the usage is present everywhere.

For someone very dear had made her that bag, as fantastical as that may seem.

They put time, heart and effort in every stitch you see.

So she loved it so very much, with every bit of her being.

So she could care less about the wear and tear you are seeing.

So remember that when you see a bag that's just so ripped and tattered,

Every worn out bookbag has a story,

And that's what really mattered.

I had this idea a while back. And I wanted to write it on the first of October. But I didn't have the energy to. So here it is now!

This poem is dedicated to my best friend, Howl (@thesunshineriptide), who I have been friends with for over a year now. We went on a fun trip to Disney with our other two besties back in April. And they made bookbags for the each of us that all had things that they associated us with. Ever since then I've just kept using this backpack as my school bag. And it doesn't have the same glory it did back when it was fresh and new, but we all know that one saying:

hey, are you alive/okay? i hope you're just busy and that nothing huge or bad has happened in your life. please be well!

Hi! So sorry, i think you sent this in like...early march. I'm absolutely alive and I'm doing okay. Since last september/october I've made some really great friends and as a result, my main mode of communication has switched to discord for a while!

I've gotten really close with these guys and I've continued creating and writing, and I've also been looking more at other fandoms and such

The reason I looked is that I actually got an ask today as a request and I've honestly been...a little paralyzed by it.

The event I did a while back with the matchups ended up with a LOT of participants, many of who have switched handles or I've lost the information of, and it ended up making it really hard for me to post because I've been so worried about potentially disappointing anyone who didn't get their request done in that event that I started avoiding tumblr.

I think by now I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and say that I probably won't be able to get to everyone in the event, but I'm going to try and start posting again because I really enjoy doing it. I'll work my way through the ones I can still match up/are in my ask box but I think unfortunately some will be lost to time.

To anyone reading this update, thank you so much for being here with me and thank you to this anon for checking on me.

tl;dr: Op got embarrassed for biting off more than they could chew, made some really awesome friends and has been fostering those relationships, is going to try and get back to writing more often like before

Our World Au - Haircut

A haircut

Idia stared at the mousy brown mop draping down his shoulders in the mirror.

“Just d-do it!” He gulped, closing his eyes and tensing his shoulders.

Floyd laughed, taking his hair and putting it into a neat ponytail. “Y’know hair doesn’t have nerve endings, right?”

Idia flushed pink and kept his eyes shut. “Just get it ov-ov-over with-with!”

Floyd just shot him a grin and straightened out Idia’s shoulders. “Relax, firefly squid. I’m a good stylist, just ask Black Tailed Gull!”

Somehow, Rook’s straight cut bangs didn’t inspire a lot of confidence in Idia. Instead, the poor third year was shaking as he sat, tugging at his bangs as Floyd finally got his hair in a ponytail.

“‘S not gonna hurt. I’ve never nicked anyone by accident.”

“What about on-”

“-purpose.”

Idia went silent as Floyd began cutting. He seemed engrossed in his work as he chopped through the thick rope of hair little by little.

“Eh, sometimes I get bored ‘n I just wanna see someone squirm a little. Set the hairdryer too high, drop some soup on the table, spill some ink in class…y'know.”

“I-I really don’t.”

“So you just keep goading Azul into board games for what? Business?”

“That’s completely different! The fact Azul refuses to play games based on chance rather than strategy only makes it more of a challenge! He throws a fit if he loses, I swear he almost popped a blood vessel when we played Magical Life!”

There’s a snicker from somewhere behind him as suddenly a ton of weight is lifted from Idia’s shoulders. There’s a breeze in the room that wasn’t there before, and a pop in his neck as he leans back after a moment.

Floyd stands there, holding the ponytail of hair high like he caught a fish and is posing for a picture he’ll use on tinder.

“‘S pretty heavy, for hair.” He looks over it a moment as Idia begins to get up. “Eh~? What’re you doin? Sit down, we’re not done.”

Two hours of silence as Idia sits perfectly still while Floyd styles his hair. The only sound filling the room is their breathing and an awkward quiet that sits in the room like humidity.

“Kay. We’re almost done- just gotta bleach ‘n dye.”

“B-Bleach?”

Floyd hums, not acknowledging his apprehension. He’s busy mixing the bleach, shaking the bottle so vigorously the liquid might not even be mixing at this point. Or maybe it was mixed at first shake, who knows.

“Wha-what are y-you going to do with-with that?” Idia watches with wide eyes locked onto the bottle.

Floyd grins, wiggling it back and forth a moment before he comes closer. “‘S a surprise. Now, don’t move - don’t wanna get this in your eyes.”

“I-I thought you said you’ve never hurt someone whi-while doing h-hair?”

He grins, laughing, “I said not on purpose. Now be a good squid and sit still.”

Floyd is surprisingly thorough as he works the peroxide bleach from the tips of Idia’s short, fluffy hair all the way back to the roots, each and every strand covered in the stinking solution. It lightens surprisingly fast, though Idia’s hair did border on blond prior, and soon he’s so blonde it’s nearly white.

He takes great care in rinsing Idia’s hair, much to the third year’s surprise. His hands aren’t too rough and he manages to hold him up enough that his back doesn’t dig into the bathtub and he doesn’t fall in. It’s almost soothing, aside from the fact that it’s Floyd. He’s even more calming as he towels and blow dries Idia’s hair, revealing a solid ten lift.

It’s a few moments of silence as Floyd admires his work, fluffing Idia’s hair and making sure its completely dry. Heterochromatic eyes have never seemed so observant or focused, nor has his quietness seemed so…ominous.

Idia nearly gets up again when Floyd just pushes him back down into his chair, then walks off to grab something. He returns, silent, a few minutes later with two small boxes and a pair of gloves.

“Don’t move or it’ll make a mess.”

The stench of peroxide and burning hair and bathroom soon has a new dimension added - bergamot, citrus, and the general smell of earl grey tea. For a moment, Idia had thought perhaps Riddle had come to his rescue, but the cool feeling of something on his head suddenly threw that thought to the wayside.

Idia stands at the top of the stairway, Floyd grinning and shooing him further into view.

Bright blue hair bounces as he slowly steps down in a dramatic princess reveal, tired eyes looking nervous and excited and terrified all at once.

Rook notices first, exclaiming excitedly, “Ah! Roi de Ta Chambre! Monsieur Spontinae! What a wondrous change to one's aesthetic! Magnifique!”

“You look nice, Shroud. Much better than the matted mess you had before.” Vil said, standing up to come over and circle around Idia. His scrutinizing eyes made a chill run down Idia’s spine, sending shivers through him. He look nervously back as he tried to find words. “You look nice. Your hair is much more similar to the younger Shroud’s now.” Malleus said, standing stiffly in front of him. Idia paused. It almost looked like he was shutting down, eyes going teary and arms folded tightly across his chest, long fingers digging nails in through his hoodie. After a moment's pause he took in a deep breath and gave Malleus a smile, one that reached his eyes.

“Thank you.”
