Pepper comes into the common room holding baby Morgan, finding Loki to be the only one in the building. She sighs and puts her in his lap.

Loki looks up surprised but holds Morgan regardless: umm excuse me?

Pepper looking sympathetic: sorry no one else is home and I need a shower. I wouldn't ask if I wasn't desperate. Also you have to do what I say. I'm in charge.

Loki watches as pepper leaves : I thought stark was in charge.

Pepper not looking back: pfft he wishes. Don't worry I trust you with her.

Loki watches her leave then turns to Morgan and squints his eyes at her: you might have everyone else fooled but you can't fool me. You're not that cute.

Morgan coos and touches Loki's face, then smiles and coos again.

Loki: .....Damn you are that cute, I would die for you.

YES!!!! There are so many writers that i love and admire and I’d be glad to share some and my favorite works from them!

there are so many talented writers out there so i’m probably forgetting many of them, so please feel free to comment your favorite fanfic writers below! i’d love to check them out!

i was strictly writing sfw stuff, but there are some writers that i’ve enjoyed reading nsfw content from that i’ll tag below the cut!

@writingfics-passingtime - all of her work is extraordinary. she writes a lot of loki x reader and has a wonderful matt murdock x reader series! but my all time fav work of hers is playing the part and understanding

@just-another-blog-of-fluff - jessa is so extremely talented. both her and jj’s fics ultimately got me to start writing! she writes tickle fics for multiple marvel characters but a lot of loki x reader. i find myself going back and re-reading refuse to lose and snowed in because they are masterpieces

@defiant-wallflower - aileen only has a few fics but they are SO good! she and i became good friends and i really enjoyed bouncing ideas off each other! my fav work from her is unfounded jealousy because it was my prompt and she wrote it beautifully

@tickles-in-ficland - kay is a wonderful writer!! she’s different because she writes actors x reader and its a nice change of pace! she has a chris evans x reader series that i love called destination laughter

Loki Fic Recommendations

For those who don't know, I have a side blog where I post fic recs, @maple-seed-reads

However, I haven't had much time recently to read, I've been focusing on writing instead. Therefore the queue on that blog is currently empty.

I've been feeling a little guilty about that so I decided to make a post here highlighting my favorite authors. I'm linking my favorite stories but you should check out their blogs/masterlists because they all have a variety of stories, if you don't like my suggestion there's probably something else there that you will.

Some of these authors have 18+ content, please respect their tags/notes.

@maiden-of-asgard is currently on hiatus. Her story Frostbite (18+) is widely known but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention it just in case. I'm also in love with the in-progress It's Rotten Work.

@grufflepuff-writes-stuff has a series of soft fics called Loki's Lullabies, which currently has 251 entries. Yes, you read that correctly, 251. Three digits. If you put a gun to my head and asked me to choose a favorite I would still have to change my mind a dozen times, so I'm going to say Cast the Shadows Away and leave it at that. Rest assured, virtually any sweet, soft flavor you are craving can be found somewhere in that series. (Also, those looking for 18+ recommendations should read Catch Fire, Burn the Stars)

@writingfics-passingtime and @just-another-blog-of-fluff, JJ and Jessa, are the dynamic duo of tickle fics. Even if you're not particularly into tickling (I'm not) you should check them out. Their stories are well-crafted and definitely worth the read. Very fluffy, sometimes a little serious, always sweet and wonderful. Favorite from JJ: Understanding Favorite from Jessa: A Startling Realization (I just realized both of those recs are 10k+, if you want shorter fics they have those too.) BONUS: Last year they collaborated on a Christmas fic, A Reason to Celebrate

@munsons-maiden has shifted focus to Eddie Munson, but her Loki fics are still here. You may have to fiddle with the url due to blog name change but it's worth it and not difficult to do. Favorite: Like He Does

@michelleleahhh has an incredible enemies-to-lovers slow burn called Broken Crown (18+) that's filled with mystery and intrigue.

@give-me-a-moose is also on a writing hiatus. You should check out her series, By Hook or by Crook (18+), I am so in love with how in love those two characters are.

@cake-writes has a couple spicy in-progress series that I'm excited for. Dutiful Disaster (18+) is one I recommend if you want to see a couple dummies who think they hate each other but actually obviously don't.

@sarahscribbles has many fics worth reading but my current favorite is Dancing With the Devil (18+), it is a wonderful blend of sweet and spicy.

@silver-tongued-bby - I don't typically read AUs where Loki isn't an Asgardian god, but something about her fic Trouble (18+) drew me in. If you're looking for something different she has several AU fics to check out.

So this appeared on my ‘recommended for you’ page and at first I was lost because I didn’t know what it was about, but I read your answer and I just felt a sense of familiarity with your words that was very comforting for some reason, then I read Outlaw and I was fascinated. I’ve never, in the six years that I’ve been on this app, felt more seen and inspired by a character, because our situations (that you explained in her backstory) are quite similar. I’m studying a law degree, and I’ve always been at the top of my class in high school, but when I started uni, I realized how much I hate studying (I love learning, reading, doing research, but studying it’s not my thing anymore, it feels like a chore), and I started feeling very numb to everything, I couldn’t figure out what was going on with me until I decided, to do something, to start combat defense in a gym, and it was like Jesus appeared in front of me and smacked my face, I finally felt something. I realized that I only recognized my emotions, and maybe because when you’re being beaten you can’t really think about anything else, when I was facing high intensity dangerous situations. As you said about razor, u can’t have a mental breakdown if you’re focused on surviving lmao. So I decided a few days ago to finish this degree as good as I can and join the army right after. Just as razor, I’ve never stayed in the same city for more than two years because of my parents job, so I’m very used to pack a few things and just leave everything behind, maybe joining the army, being part of something bigger than me, will help me a little. I’m not from the USA so I’m sorry if I made any mistake, I’m from Spain so English is not my first language ;( anyways, I love you so much for creating this amazing fic, and this amazing character, really, it may seem like I’m dramatic asf but it’s really comforting for some reason. Do you think razor (or should I say fly fruit 😜) felt like that at some point? I really really enjoyed her backstory. Thank you again really and I’m sorry for the big ass bible I just wrote, you don’t have to answer if it’s too much 😅

I never could’ve dreamed that something from my mind resonated in someone’s life so much. I don’t think it’s dramatic at all! This is part of sharing what you create; hoping someone out there connects with it in the way that you’ve expressed to have done.

I think Razor absolutely felt like that. A little lost, a little not knowing what to do, but the overwhelming urge to do something all-encompassing. Something challenging and foreign, chasing that stability and camaraderie. I really liked writing her and it’s so cool that you could see yourself in this story.

At the moment, I may as well put my favorites as a list to make things easier.

71) "What's your favorite writing compliment you've gotten?"

This compliment actually wasn't given on Tumblr, believe it or not. This was given on one of the stories in my book of Sanders Sides t-fics on Wattpad. The link for that book can be found on my Masterlist, but after looking through the book, I realized that the story itself is also on the Masterlist, too. Anyway, in this story, the ler was really teasing the lee. The problem was that the teases were also effecting me, too, and I'm the writer!😂 I made a comment on it as an author's note in the story (which is also shown on the Tumblr post) saying that I was flustering myself😅 Well, someone commented on that statement on Wattpad saying, "I felt that 😅 I can't write anything cute without blushing and reading this making me blush too. You're an excellent writer" That honestly made my day and is one of my favorite compliments on my writing I've ever received.

Baby power part 2

Pepper knocks on Loki's door, coming back from a long meeting.

Loki opens his door, holding a happy baby Morgan.

Pepper: hey, I hope she wasn't any trouble.

Loki hands Morgan over to pepper: Not at all. She's a delight, and I'm more than happy to watch her.

Pepper: thanks Loki, I'll see you later.

Loki waves bye to Morgan and shuts his door. Pepper walks to the elevator when Morgan starts to babble

Pepper: heh what was that sweetheart?

Morgan babbles again more clearly.

Pepper looks at her curiously: what?!

Morgan perfectly: glorious purpose.

Peppers eyes widen: .......LOKI!!!!!!!
