What if Danny and Jason met in the infinite realms when Jason was dead and started a relationship?
Jason gets brought back to life, with or without memories of what happened while he was dead, and Danny has no idea where he's gone.
Jason is going through his whole training for vengeance thing. Danny is searching high and low, calling on all of the ancients and all of his rouges, doing whatever it takes to get his boyfriend back.
Jason meets up with the Bats. Does his whole 'kill Joker if you actually care about me' thing. Heads in a duffle bag and what have you. Danny still can't find Jason, but is starting to figure out that Jason was Robin. Like, actually Robin and just a concept spirit like Clockwork.
Jason starts making amends with the Batfam, but his "pit madness" is still a massive issue. Tucker and Sam help Danny figure out that Robin was Jason Todd and he lived in Gotham.
Jason wakes up one morning and feels like crap. He keeps having random sharp pains in his chest. He goes to the Batcave to get Alfred to check him out. Danny gets to Gotham and starts searching for Jason when he senses something odd. It's like someone is calling out to him, so he follows the feeling.
Danny arrives just in time to see Jason "giving birth" to their child.

Dc/Dp - Jason Todd Idea
I have heard people call Jason a revenant before in this kind of crossover, but what if it is taken in a different direction.
In this world revenants are people who return from the dead because they were not avenged like normal. But the process of someone forcing themselves back to life is very stressful, so it is rare. Then if someone manages to actually succeed the strain of the experience drives them permanently insane with a side of permanent rage. The newly resurrected person would only be able to focus on hunting the person who murdered them, and depending on the situation the people who allowed the loss of their life to be buried so easily. After their hunt was completed they would instantaneously drop dead. Then they would either immediately completely move on or wither away into nothingness depending on the person, but a revenant can never become a ghost.
Revenants could also be the inspiration behind zombies in the story. More importantly, revenants are the reason why people are buried six feet deep. So the revenants would suffocate before it could seek vengeance.
Bring Jason back into my idea. Jason came back to life as a traditional revenant, and due to his unyielding stubbornness managed to get out of the grave and begin his mindless hunt. But then Thalia found him and tossed him into the pit and managed to give him his mind back. For the first time there was a revenant who had regained their mind. Well mostly. Jason was still constantly angry which he hadn’t been before coming back to life, or at least not like this. Sometimes he would lose himself completely to the anger. Everyone blamed it on the pit madness, which could be its own Ectoplasmic side effect, but it was really his revenant nature resurfacing.
Later on, somehow someway Danny and Jason end up meeting. They both recognize each other as a kind of kindred spirit because they both are straddling the line between life and death, albeit in very very different ways. Since they recognize each other in such an instinctual way, Jason begs Danny to cure him of the pit madness. But Danny can’t because what he is dealing with isn’t pit madness and the rage is the only thing connecting his soul to his body even if he has regained his sanity.
It isn’t that Jason has fits of rage. He has fits of sanity.
Those fits of sanity last a very long time, and the rage impedes his life less as he adjusts, but that is how it works. Even if Jason avenged himself, it would be to fate if it made him essentially a extremely liminal human, die instantly, or some mysterious alternative option. No one knows what will happens because nothing like Jason had ever existed before. There have been documented cases of halfas before Pariah Dark eliminated every single one before Danny and the rest came along. But there has never ever been a single case in history of a revenant who regained themselves instead of carrying out their mission.
If you choose to use any part of my idea, please leave a link in the comments so I can read it.
Thanks

I inflict upon you this brain child
Borne from when I read your post about King Danny Phantom showing Batman a list of Joker's dead victims who all want the clown gone from existence
What if Ghost Knight Jason Todd, who temporarily formed into a Fright Knight like knight while he was dead as a spirit of vengeance for the DC Universe
And then on the other side
Ghost Rider!
I have never seen a Ghost Rider x Danny Phantom anything so what if Ghost Rider counts as one of Danny's Knights, keeping watch over the Marvel's universe?
I actually read a good one-shot of Jason being praised by King Danny for being an avenger for his people in the Infinite Realm, and it was so good that I do kinda of head cannon Jason joining Danny's knights when he does finally cross over. So as I writing this, the idea of Danny having knights was there, and there is always a spot open for Jason should he wish to join into the circle.
As for Ghost Rider, I'm not that well versed on him tbh. I know a tiny bit but I haven't deep dived into Marvel (other than a few characters I hyper-fixate on) but I could see it happening if we throw Marvel in the mix.

I didn't want to derail someone else's post, but your tags about Cheer are SO RIGHT
What exactly is the difference between;
Abusive Dad is dead so kid has to go into Social Services
and
Abusive Dad is in prison so kid has to go into Social Services?
(other than that one option gives the kid some measure of permanent closure imo, but yknow, murder bad -_-)
IT MAKES ME WANT TO EAT BEEEEEES!!!!
Like…the lack of thought that went into that plotline is just…WHAT!
Okay, Bruce and Jason racing to find a cure/stop Cheer…THAT makes sense. Saving Tyler’s mom MAKES SENSE as a parallel! Jason can be the kind of person to Tyler and Tyler’s mom that he and Catherine never had.
TYLER’S ABUSIVE CHILD-POISONER DAD IS IMMATERIAL TO THE SITUATION!!!!
Even if Jason hadn’t killed him he would have been in jail! Hell, he could have already been dead and it wouldn’t have changed what was going on with Tyler and Tyler’s mom!
So really the problem is STILL “saving Tyler’s mom”! THAT IS WHERE THE EMOTIONAL RESONANCE LIES!
Not to mention, you know…Jason being bent out of shape over killing a serial child-poisoner MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE! Him giving up guns because of that MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE!
Like, it goes against all of his post-UtH characterization! AND all of his pre-UtH characterization! Just…ALL of his characterization!!!
And not in a way that feels organic and/or like character growth, either! It’s just stupid and inexplicable!
(Not to mention that like…okay, this is going to go into real life/abuse in fiction, but…Batman writers know that abused people sometimes kill their abusers, right? Like, in real life?
Because, okay, see…one of the reasons that I love Jason Todd is because I conceptualize him as a sort of an Angel of Retribution on behalf of victims—in much the same way that Batman is often conceptualized as the Spirit of (Vengeance/Justice/Whatever).
And, further than just bringing down punishment on those who hurt people…Jason takes that heat onto himself.
Victims don’t have to die to escape their torment—either by being killed by their abusers or taking their own lives like Gloria. And they don’t have to kill to escape, either. They don’t have to walk the path that he walks.
Jason takes that onto himself. He died so they don’t have to. He kills so they don’t have to.)

So, I have como to understand one very important thing about loving Jason Todd. The reason I admire him so much, beyond the obvious, is that he doesn't let injustices pass, he actively and doggedly pursues the culprits. No for justice, but for vengeance. For BLOOD.
Let those who damage you without reason be engulfed in flames.
And that is absolutely something we should enforce more often.
I'm sick of people telling me I should be understanding, I should let it pass, I should get over it.
You know what? F*CK IT!
I dare say Jason has taught me many good things, and this is by far the best.
I'm much more happier and balanced since I took him in stride, no more stress, no more pain.
So, you all folks, remember, stop listening to those trying to demean you. Do not be sheep. Channel your inner Jason Todd.
Send them to hell, (you can do this with words, no guns needed, it's the spirit which counts).

I personally find jason's eyes glowing from the pit to be used out and boring. Alternatively the eyes glowing from unrelated circumstances is funnier, like the all caste, or the punch that brought him back. Speaking of that why are they always green?
Because Lazarus Pit in the movie is green?
A reminder that the Pit used by Talia to revive Jason was not, in fact, green. So yeah, I blame the movie. I have a hard time not mixing up the movie and comics as well. Some details are really obvious (Bruce throwing batarang and killing Jason to save Joker vs Jason pulling a gun on Bruce and Bruce just hurting his hand, thus making him drop the gun he pulled on Bruce), some are less so.
I love Jason's green eyes and glowing eyes in fanart, though, so I'm not sure I relate.
However, I do love coming up with different twists. So how about this:
It was neither the punch nor Lazarus Pit that brought Jason back.
Here's what you need to know about Nemesis: in Greek mythology, she's a goddess of vengeance.
The word nemesis originally meant the distributor of fortune, neither good nor bad, simply in due proportion to each according to what was deserved
n the Greek tragedies Nemesis appears chiefly as the avenger of crime and the punisher of hubris, and as such is akin to Atë and the Erinyes. She was sometimes called Adrasteia, probably meaning "one from whom there is no escape"
In DC comics:
With Wonder Woman's power in addition to her own, her control over the spirits of the dead and the deadly Flashing Blade, not even the Gods of Olympus dared openly oppose her, relying on Diana to grow strong enough to confront Nemesis once more and regain her power. The two fought and Diana regained her former being and power. She slew Nemesis with her own sword. As she lay dying, Nemesis was at peace, as the cries of the unjustly slain and the need to punish passed on to someone else.
So the one it was passed to was Jason. And the god-killing Flashing Blades. It was the last act of Nemesis before her demise: rousing him from his grave using her power over the spirits of the dead.
So, in this possible future, Jason doesn't become Red Hood at all. He is busy slaying monsters who think they're gods.
And, as a result, this Jason doesn't become part of Batfam again, instead, he becomes a member of Wonder Family. At least one of the crisises is averted by Jason killing people.
If you want to keep it less AU, then just Nemesis passing her drive for revenge to a freshly resurrected by the punch Jason Todd. So Jason becomes less god/demigod, as an agent of divine power.

Damian Wayne: DCAU/DCAMU vs. Comics
Damian Wayne is one of my favorite Robin besides Jason Todd and it makes me disappointed/sad that the comics constantly keep regressing his character development (you know? hunting villains and imprisoning them).
That is the reason I don’t read Rebirth Comics I watch DCAU/DCAMU. Because in that universe, I got to see that his character development stayed until the end.
He went from this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When he’s first introduced, he looks like his grandfather Ra’s al ghul, ruthless and bloodthirsty because he is trained as a weapon his entire life (and to become the next Demon’s Head).
Later on, he started to learn that there are other ways to stop crime without killing (”Justice, not vengeance.”), and he also started to care for others, especially his family and his teammates.
Damian may be the grandson of the Demon’s Head, but he is also a kind and caring person underneath.
You know the one thing that also bothers me, is the Kid Flash/Raven pairing. I’m shooked when I saw that they kissed in the comics (and eventually break up). It doesn’t make sense to me. I prefer DCAU/DCAMU universe because they paired two kindred spirits who can found comfort in each other. I really hope that those two will find each other in the new universe.

Dick Grayson timeline
Also known as the list I started trying to get the pictures in my 80-year anniversary video in the right order. I have skipped a lot of video games, and a number of Elseworld comics and I have not included for instance every Teen Titans/Titans title Dick has ever been in. And, of course, it does not include every story arc, retelling of Dick’s history or single issue he’s been in. (This video and timeline are reposted for technical reasons...)
1940. Dick Grayson / Robin debuts in Detective Comics # 38. (April issue, but it was released earlier. I have seen both March 5 and 6 named as release date and I’ve also read that this is an approximation. Evidently, the delivery date varied greatly back in the days.)
1943. Movie serial The Batman with Douglas Croft as Robin.
1943. October 25. Publication start of the daily comic strip Batman and Robin. Ends in 1946.
1945. (March.) Batman and Robin’s first appearance in the radio show The Adventures of Superman, with Ronald Liss as Robin.
1947. (February.) The first Robin solo series starts in Star Spangled Comics # 65. Robin - The Boy Wonder (sometimes with the addition of Batman) would continue in SSC until the title ended in July 1952, # 130.
1949. Movie serial The New Adventures of Batman and Robin, with Johnny Duncan as Robin.
1950. Robin’s first outing as Batman (with a Robin symbol instead of a Bat) in DC # 165.
1952. Superman # 76. The first time Batman and Superman meet in comics (it ends with Robin taking Lois Lane to dinner.)
1954. Batman, Robin and Superman team up for the first time in World’s Finest Comics # 71.
1964. First appearance of what would become the Teen Titans, in The Brave and the Bold #54.
1966. Batman: The Movie and the tv show. Burt Ward as Robin.
1966. May 29. Publication start of the daily comic strip Batman with Robin the Boy Wonder. It ends in 1969.
1966. A manga adaptation of Batman is published in Japan, with Jiro Kuwata as main artist. The manga is published 1966-1967 and adapts Silver age Batman stories.
1966. Teen Titans vol 1.
1967. First appearance of Robin of Earth-Two, in Justice League of America #55. (He was considered to be the Dick Grayson from the ”Golden age” stories. As an adult, he was a member of the Justice Society of America, a lawyer, ambassador, and attorney. He went out as Batman once in his career.)
1969. (December.) Dick moves from Gotham to Hudson university in ”One bullet too many!”, Batman # 217. Bruce and Alfred leaves Wayne Manor. Robin will have sporadic solo stories in the Bat titles until the early 1980s.
1972. Batman and Robin in The New Scooby-Doo movies with Casey Kasem voicing Robin.
1973. The Super Friends, animated television series with Batman and Robin and other superheroes. Produced by Hanna-Barbera. Casey Kasem is voice actor for Robin.
1976 (to 1981). The comic book Super Friends adapted the adventures from the television animated series.
1977. The New Adventures of Batman, animated, with Burt Ward as Robin.
1978. Teen Titans vol 1 ends.
1980. (October.) Dick leaves Hudson university, resigned to the fact that he can’t continue as Robin and keep up with college. In ”The Gotham Connection”, in Detective Comics #495.
1980. The New Teen Titans. (# 1 in November.)
1980. (December.) Dick comes to Gotham in Batman # 330. Bruce is disappointed he has left college.

1984. Dick becomes Nightwing in Tales of the Teen Titans #44 (July).
1985-1986. Crisis on Infinite Earths. Earth-Two is erased from continuity. However, that world’s Dick Grayson (still using the name Robin) and Helena Wayne (Huntress), did not perish with their world since they were in the battle against the Anti-Monitor. They were killed and buried at Valhalla Cemetery on the remaining Earth.
1987. The Crisis catch up with Batman with a new version of how Dick left Robin, and a new origin story for Jason Todd, in Batman # 408 (June).
1989. Batman Year Three. Storyline in Batman # 436-439.

It revolves around three superheroes and their former sidekicks – Batman and Nightwing, Green Arrow and Arsenal and Aquaman and Tempest. (I haven’t read this myself, but from what I’ve seen her take on Dick – and Bruce’s and Dick’s relationship – is pretty controversial among fans.)

Okay! So it looks like ghost rider Jason Todd is going to be the winner!!! So I have a few ideas for plots but I’m for sure going to need ur guys’ help
I’d love for some ideas from you guys to make the process a bit easier I’ll give some questions and if you could reply/ repost with some answers that would be great!!
- How does his rider work? (Is it a when the sun goes down deal? Or is it a form he can control/ he suppressed and loses control? )
- What are the circumstances of the family finding out? ( is it a joker situation? A last stand situation? Or a “you kidnapped my bb brother now imma send ur b ass to hell” ? )
- What happens post reveal ( how does the family react? Should Damian know if they met in the league? Are they mad? Hurt? …..scared?….. I think the family knowing would be another reminder of Jason’s death)
- And lastly does it hurt Jason to suppress it? If he suppressed his rider form he’s technically not acting on his obsession as a spirit of vengeance…. Maybe he has to take a few nights off and hide? Maybe that’s why he tries to stay with the outlaws?
I could also do like a 5 times deal with the comic… like five times jason was weird in the field and the 1 time they find out why? It could be a Sirius of him almost losing control…. Or if he hides his skull with the red hood helmet maybe it’s cracked and he runs cause he can’t let them see?
OKAY!!!! Please lmk your thought cause I would love to start working on this!!!

Reborn
Jason remembered there were four season but he felt as if he was living in a fifth one, suspended in space and stuck in a time warp. He was cold. He had never been so freaking cold before in his life. His blood felt frozen, his heart beat slowly, barely pumping it through his numb body. With bones broken and muscles torn he crawled with the strength he left in his spirit for a way out. Feeling the cold tendrils of death creeping up on him, lingering at the edge of his consciousness, as though they were waiting for him to reach out a hand. His eyelids were getting heavy and growing weary, so damn fatigued. His breath came in labored gasps as he lay there. Where? Where exactly was him now? Impenetrable dense darkness surrounded him and there were no scents or sounds to give him a clue. He tried to focus perceive any sounds, intensity, patterns, frequency of any vibration, anything to explain the reason behind his limited sense of perception. He used his hands to try to gain a sense of his environment, but all they met was air. Even beneath him nothing existed but air, which made no sense.
He tried to reach back in his memory to understand what was happening to him, but his mind wash abnormally blank. Where fond memories should be, instead there were holes, gaps, vacant spots that are only filled with dried up dirt and burnt ashes, the soil for what used to be there. Now he could heard them. Distant voices calling his name. Familiar voices he recognized. His name. What was it again? Ja...Jason.. Jason Todd. Discerning grief, frustration, mysery and rage. But he can’t find his own voice. He was left with motionless lungs, frigid fingers and toes. There was a huge figure cradling him, rocking his body back and forth in his arms with desperation. A man he knew. What was his name? Bru...Bruce. Bruce stroked his raven locks, asking him with a surprisingly soft broken voice to calm down because he was going to take him to a hospital. Jason could detect the feeling on the man’s face. He hated the feeling of powerlessness, impotence, as if no matter how much he pushed himself, he knew he couldn't get in time. Bruce’s calloused hands were covered in Jason’s blood, and anguish like he’d never known washed over him. Tears were mixing with the blood flooding in his lap, as his eyes clouded over. Jason with fallen limp body, chest stopped rising, lungs not pushing for oxygen any longer. Bruce held his son tightly mumbling comforting words, a promise about taking him home.
Jason thought grief was a tricky thing, in his years with Bruce he never showed him such raw emotion. He probably only allowed himself to be expressed in his most private and vulnerable moments. He had given his whole life to upholding justice and keeping the civilians safe, because that had always been what he believed in. But as a parent...His back and heart had never felt heavier.
There’s too many feelings to be sorted now, too many feelings Jason didn't want to sort out. He was too confused to think clearly. There were blurry flashes of green hair, yellowish-brown eyes, a damn infuriating Cheshire grin, and that fucking crowbar already raised to strike him. One time. Another. Harder. Faster. Swearing under his breath, aching, pressure, throbbing pain on the side of his head. The pain was moderate at first, intensifying until it pierced throughly his whole body to the very core. The familiar maniac laughter he could hear echoing in his head. He couldn’t get away from the wicked laugher of that stupid clown. The weight of the world is hammering against my chest, his mind plagued with thousand of memories and thoughts. What was real? The people he trusted him shockingly stabbed him in the back. He was walking around in circles clueless, helpless and restless, like a fool wandering into a storm. A castaway. Now he was unjustly sentenced to a living hell. Fucking limbo.
He clenched his fists, knuckles white and shaking with untamed fury, endless wrath. Jason was furious. At the fact that the same piece of shit who should have been put down for what he did to him had been given the opportunity to traumatize innocent people, maybe children. What the hell Bruce? He let that insane murderer free while his body hardened, lifeless and the door was slammed shut on his tomb. Vengeance. He wanted vengeance with his very own hands. He would enjoy punching the clown so hard he wouldn't be able to breath, old lungs struggling for air. Pinning him down to the floor where he can’t move, where he felt powerless, trembling with fear. Kicking him time after time until pale skin turned blue and dark. Take his sweet time torturing him and then he would kill him slowly and painfully. He would enjoy that.
His funeral. Bruce could have done a million things as he was left alone for a couple of minutes, bidding his goodbye to his son. He could have sobbed for his lost son who died in his arms, he could have screamed at the universe for taking his family away again. He could have yelled at himself for failing. He could have prayed that at least Jason would find peace now. But he just stood there, in front of the casket, stone faced and unmoving. Nothing. Perhaps then Jason would have forgiven him. Maybe he didn’t want to forgive him he thought to himself. No.
It was a rainy and gloomy day at the Wayne cemetery. Indeed a fitting weather considering his he lived his life. Not many people attend the service, not surprised as he didn’t have many friends. None of their acquaintances had ever bothered to get to know the rough around the edges of Jason Todd. Barbara sheds tears with rough mournful cries. Dick knelt down. Dick’s pained expression and the fresh wave of tears cascading down his sculpted face is one of his last memories.
They whisper a muffled goodbye as they place lilies at his feet. Fungal mold begins to grow surrounding his remains, vines replace nerves and veins. His chest hurts but there wasn’t a beating heart where it should be. Numbness.
He died young and tragically some would say. Pathetic was the word he would use. He died young, weak, naive and credulous. They’d thought him weak, harmless prey, another piece of rubbish in an alley called ‘Crime.’ He would show them what this piece of trash could accomplish. He was reborn with such mighty and brute strength. He would become a great unstoppable soldier.
Jason’s head was a sea of emotions that he had to try hard not sink under. He was given a chance, newborn opportunity. And he couldn’t lie at the bottom of the sea now, he was the captain and he would never go down with the fucking ship, not with the waves, and not even with the lifeboat that was struck.
He continue punching, his knuckles having gone past the point of feeling to just a sense of motion now. Ripping through the air, developed muscles strained and trembling. Things were under my fists, cracking, breaking and now the voices whisper in his ear encourage him to go on. He couldn’t stop. It had started off with a scream, like he was finally letting out something that had been simmering inside and it was escaping out through his throat, down to arms and exploding from my fists.
Release. Anger. Wrath. Revenge. Payback.
Survive.
Jason Peter Tood had died pathetically.
But Red Hood was a survivor and victor.
He was ready to go back.
A super quick and short oneshot prompt because A Death in the family. I love Jason 😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️ @sofiii @amaati @chromium7sky @niahti

Okay I dont have the time or brain power right the sec to go deep into this idea; but what if Jason Todd, The Spectre, divine spirit of vengeance??  And he changes Spectre’s classic hooded cloak from green to red?  Eh?  Eehh??

AU concept. Instead of Hal Jordan being revived as the Spectre, Jason Todd. IMO he's a much better fit for what the character is about and just the sheer drama of Bruce seeing his son revived as the Spirit of Vengeance, whose only job is to punish by smiting the ever loving fuck out of evil.
Also, let's be real, Spec already has the bottom half of the old Robin costume if you just add scalloping to the Manties of Justice, the pixie boots are already there. Also also, Jason Todd has the thighs to pull off that look and we all know it.
