as a nonbinary baby witch thank you so much for helping me figure out what was off about gender correspondents. i couldnt for the life of me put it into words but you hit the nail on the head. it confused me cus when people said a color or plant were attached to the "divine feminine" i was like. but i thought these were tools??? why are you bringing gender into it?????

Aw this is so sweet and you're so welcome! I plan and want to post more things like that. I had no idea that post would do so well and so many people would relate and interact but it makes me want to post more about my trans experience, frustrations, and how all that intersects with the topics I already cover here. I had considered talking about being trans and other aspects of my life for a long time and so many people like you have responded so well and it makes me so happy!

I think there are probably a few select people who are attracted to the divine feminine stuff and use it in a way more inspired by its roots as a concept. In a way that isn't as much of an issue and that is a tool for them and does help them. But like overall on the internet they seem to be few and far between and the content around this stuff is NOT centered around that version of it. It definitely makes sense it wouldn't be as appealing to me or to someone who's non binary.

Please know you and other trans/non binary witches are absolutely my target audience, target mutuals, and if you need anything at all I'm here. I'm happy to help with witchcraft but at this point knowing so many trans people are around, I'm happy to help with that too. If you need to vent about transphobia or help coming out or with HRT, I'm your guy. Remember you guys are welcome and awesome. Trans witches are awesome 💕

It's honestly hilarious to me how new age spiritualist cishets will say the concept masculine and feminine energy has no affiliation with gender whatsoever but in the next breath they'll enforce gender onto it all the fuckin time and use it as a synonym for male and female.

I'm just imagining Mommy!Wanda dating y/n for a couple of months until they (reader) came out as non-binary.

Wanda spends the entire night researching different gender-neutral pet names and different ways to make her partner feel as special as they make her feel.

From then on Wanda uses terms like "darling", "love", and "sweetheart".

Y/n pretty quickly figures out the change and they just fall more in love with the sokovian.

you might have thought the best bit of bg3 is all the hot, romanceable people with intriguing personal trauma but actually that's just the 2nd best thing. the best thing is being able to befriend and adopt almost? every animal/baby monster you come across and then PET THEM (you can throw a ball for the dog now and also summon him as a familiar, kinda like the cat in divinity! also i just like talking to the owlbear cub, it's soo cute, they added some more scenes with it from the EA)

honestly i think the whole double trouble controversy could have been avoided if 1) they had shown more shapeshifters with different genders; or 2) if they had etherians who were also non-binary or were under the nb spectrum.
