Eren who has been best friends with your brother Jean since pre-school. Your house became his second home, from coming over just to play on Jean's PlayStation to spending over 3 days at your house. Your parents loved him, but his sweet reputation was only held in your house, to everyone else he was bad news. Eren was well known for his house parties and his relations with girls. yet to you, he was still the sweet boy who fought your bullies and played Mario kart with you.

Eren who talked to you more as you got older. He makes sure that you're included in whatever he and Jean are doing. Jean always saw it as Eren just wanting you to not feel excluded, never did he even think it was because his best friend preferred his sister to himself. Eren somehow managed to convince Jean to give him your number, and ever since he's constantly messaging you. He doesn't care what people think about him, but when it comes to you he wants to be that kind caring person who you know him as.

Eren who offered to take you to school one day when Jean was sick. What you didn't expect was him to pull up on a Motorcycle. He waves at you as you stand by your window shaking you head at him. "Bye Jean" you shout as you close the door and begin walking to Eren. He's leaning against the bike with his helmet in hand, his hair is pulled into a messy bun and his lips are pulled into a wide smile. "I'm not getting on that Eren" you state with your hands on you hips.

Eren who doesn't take no for an answer and just places a helmet on your head and helps you onto the bike behind him. "hold on tight baby" he says grabbing your hands and placing them tight around his waist. You can feel the hard muscle underneath his shirt, and you know Eren is smirking so hard as you practically feel him up.

Eren who walks you to your class after the ride. "Eren why are so many people staring at us," you ask peering up at him as you both walk down the corridor with his arm around your shoulder. His frame towers over you and his green eyes pierce into your own. "their just jealous love" he says still looking down mesmerized by your so innocent eyes that make him feel giddy.

Eren who takes you home after school, his excuse being its on his way but realistically he just wants to feel your hands on his skin again. Eren often looks back at you making sure that you’re okay, smiling at how you have nuzzled into his back with your hands tightly wrapped around him.

Eren who mentions the party he’s hosting later that night. He knows you’ll probably say no so when you nod your head his eyes widen and a smile covers his face. “I’ll see you later then Eren, thanks for the ride” you say walking towards your front door. “It’s no problem anytime. I mean it anytime you need call me”

Eren who can barely control himself when he sees you. You’re in a tight dress doing all the right things, your ass practically falling out the bottom. he knows he shouldn’t be thinking the thoughts that come into his mind, but he doesn’t care when he sees guys coming up to you clearly hitting on you.

Eren who’s vision focuses in on you and he strides towards you when he sees some guy throw his hand over your shoulder. His own arm replacing the other guys throwing it to the side with disgust. “hey man I didn’t know” the guy says before walking away. you look up at Eren with a confused expression which quickly turns happy n when you notice it’s him. “Eren” you squeal wrapping your arms around him “ I couldn’t find you I’ve been looking for ages”. “I’m right here ma”.

Eren who finds himself pouring you a drink and watching as you take your first sip. “nice?” he asks. your sour expression says it all “nuh uh I don’t like the taste”. Eren chuckles, your innocence showing only making him more turned on. He looks behind you watching Jean make out with some girl, the perfect chance for him to grab onto your wrist and guide you to his room without your brother knowing a thing.

Eren who stands with his hands on your waist as you look up at him. Your lips glisten in the light, the gloss enhancing your plump lips that beg to be kissed. Eren is going crazy inside, he doesn't know why he brought you up here he just hated the way people looked at you. He wants you to himself. Your eyes look up into his, and the tension becomes too much. You make the first move, going on the tips of your toes to meet his lips to yours.

Eren who's lips are soft and move against yours in perfect synchronicity. His hands stay firmly on your waist as yours tangle in his hair and pull him close by his neck. He bends down slightly moving his lips down your neck and sucking on your skin. "I've wanted to do this for so long you don't understand" he mumbles pulling you closer to him. You can only mumble incoherent words and nod your head in response, the feeling of Eren's lips finally on your skin being too much for you to think of anything else.

Eren who picks you up, your legs wrapping around his waist. His eyes burned into yours. "you wanna keep going baby?" he asks as he begins to kiss up your jaw. "mhm, only if this isn't a one-time thing" you say making sure he understands you won't be one of his playgirls. "don't worry your pretty head about that, I got you,

Ted Lasso 3x12 Thoughts

I have always loved, and still love, that Ted moved to London and loved it. He acclimated, or more than acclimated. The three years was a story about new places and people and experiences and old ghosts that followed him there. I understand that the one thing in the middle—a kid, not a ghost, who still exists in the place left behind—necessitated him making a painful decision. I am mourning that because Ted had to make the decision to leave London, the magic of arriving in a place and never wanting to leave has been broken. He had to re-outsider himself, and I can imagine many complex (and realistic, damn it) futures for him, including futures that would involve him spending significant time back in that place, but there's a real sadness in just...the leaving. He's doomed to return (or not return) instead of just getting to exist there, after we've gotten used to seeing him in an environment that suited him.

Something I'll love when I'm able to be more mature about all this is that Ted doesn't argue with Rebecca when she tells him she wants him to consider the possibility that Richmond is his home.

Something I love now--as painful as it is--is that Rebecca seems, in a lot of ways, like she's in love with Ted. He's slipping away, and instead of wailing about how much she'll miss the biscuits, she sits herself down in front of some croissants. (And while I don't particularly like that the Dutch man has returned to her life in such a magical, serendipitous way that only timed out because of her tremulous, seemingly to-the-wire decision not to get on that plane or say anything more to Ted, a charitable and practical part of my brain is glad she'll have companionship if she couldn't have what she spent most of this episode seeming to believe she wanted. Even if what she wanted wasn't actually romantic. Or wasn't supposed to read as romantic. Even if it did.)

The immediacy of Ted's emotions in 3x11, when he has the fight with his mom and it's so clear that he's got to go back and face what he's run away from, reminded me of how sharply he can feel. So it was really hard to watch him be almost stoic throughout this episode in the way he pulls away. He leaves everyone well, but everyone else's feelings are so big and he's kinda glazed over, and I didn't expect to feel the wind knocked out of me with the force of Rebecca's longing for him to stay.

(And I'm so glad that Rebecca didn't sell all of the club, instead taking her ownership down to just 51%, but I'm also glad she cares enough about Ted to have genuinely considered it. I'm so glad she and Keeley are going to work together to form a women's team. I'm so glad she promoted Roy to head coach, and that he's actually going to work on himself now that he knows he'll be working to be his best self rather than someone else. I am glad Ted was only dreaming about Beard and Jane marrying at Stonehenge--Ted has never understood how seriously bad that relationship is. I'm glad life is moving on, but it's just. So. Painful.)

I know a lot of people will talk about how this was a disappointment after all--a savior story with a pat, happy ending, rather than a true love story. But my feeling is that it genuinely was something better and sadder than a savior story...a narrative about choice with a tragic end. (And I don't mean "tragic" to imply that he shouldn't have gone to be with Henry, because I think he needed his reconnection with Henry to take place in Kansas, very essentially. It's just that everything else about the ending is tragic.) Maybe Ted spent the last three years at home, and maybe it won't hit him until much later, the magnitude of all that he's left. I like that it wasn't a happy ending, even if there are happy parts. I don't like that people will mistake it for a happy ending, even if a happy ending that angers them. I don't expect people to feel good about this paragraph, but it's the thing that's saving me where this show is concerned.

This is my favorite show. I've never obsessed over or connected to a piece of media quite like I have with this. I don't particularly care about the better things out there, and I'm not particularly curious what my next obsession will be because I'm still in this one. The finale didn't ruin the show for me, but I feel like I'm being stabbed by the last ten minutes, by the pain of the end really being about that impossible choice feeling impossible for as long as our eyes were trained on his face.

Jasper and Lilac (<- uhhh their name I think sorry this is in a rush)

Can I have some details about them, like their story and who they are?

HEHEJEJEJ. OH RAINBOW. MY DEAREST MUTUAL... YOU HAVE MADE A HORRIBLE HORROBLE MISTAKE.

Jasper and Lilac are both grimwalkers! Toh OCS that got uh. A little out of control. Whoops. Jasper is Darius' mentor, a blank slate that I have far too much fun taking advantage of, and Lilac is the grimwalker before him!

Let's start with Jasper. Jasper is...complicated. A thing I wanted to do was explore how growing up in an environment like the coven would realistically shape a person. And also projecting a bit. Jasper has been shown from a very young age that honesty is dangerous. If you tell people the truth, they get angry at you for it. Ergo, don't tell the truth. He's gotten used to lying or omitting the truth and thinks it's bad, but a part of life. It's not even a conscious decision for him for a lot of the time. Like he chooses on missions and all, but so much of it is also just...reflex. Gives a fake age without even thinking about it. A fake name is easy to come up with. He has plenty spare. Cover stories rehearsed. And it's the little things too. He reflexively leaves things out, not even thinking about it. He doesn't think about telling Darius his scar is from a battle, it's natural, it's not a conscious decision or something he stresses over. He just does it. He doesn't think about telling Darius yes, he's practiced all magic, he just does it. He doesn't think about telling Darius that he's the best at what he does, he just does. A lot of the time, the lie isn't even conscious or like debated over. He just lies. Honesty is harder for him because he's been lying for so long. It's his reflex to lie when asked a question. You ask his age, he's giving you a random number. You ask where he's from, he picks a random town name. It's an ill kept secret that The Golden Guard never tells the truth. Everyone knows, they just don't point it out to be polite.

Honesty is, once again, far more difficult. He feels like he's forcing it out of himself. Trying to express how he feels is hard and he always feels like he's acting, even if he genuinely is feeling that way, because he has to drag it out of himself. He has to laugh in a forced, more pretty sounding way as not to be weird. He can't express he's happy or grateful weirdly, so it has to be stilted and rehearsed. He feels like if he needs help he has to PROVE he needs help, so he exaggerates his sadness to make the point. It's not that he isn't that distressed, but it all feels like he's acting. He doesn't know how to be authentic. He doesn't know how to act how he means. He's always acting, always performing. He never stops.

He's a very good actor. He can cry on cue, he can look perfectly convincing, he can pull off whatever he'd like. But he doesn't know who he is behind all that. He doesn't know how to stop lying. He's lied for so long. To everyone. To his uncle, to his friends, to himself.

He is viciously protective. He sees Darius as his son. Darius...well. He knows (unreliable narrator) that Darius doesn't see him that way, but he'll care for him nonetheless. Jasper is very mischievous, very sassy, and he and Darius banter with each other a lot. Some dialogue that illustrated both Jaspers personality and their dynamic from a thing I'm writing:

"Hey, Slimeball!"

"What the fuck, Jasper?!"

Jasper threw his head back and laughed, a sharp sound. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, your face! I can't not!"

"You just tackled me out of the fucking sky, and you laugh?"

"Language!" He chided, like he's some boy scout and didn't just tackle him out of absolutely nowhere. "And it wasn't from the sky, you just didn't see me." He let go, offering a hand to help him up. Darius scoffs and takes it, brushing dirt off his back.

"Oh yeah, that's way better. What the hell was that for? Don't look at me like that, hell isn't a swear."

"Yes it is."

"No it's not."

"I'm not even going to dignify that with a debate." His mentor pinched the bridge of his nose. "That, my dear pupil-" He does an overdramatic bowing motion for emphasis, because he's Jasper. "Is a lesson in the importance of perception!"

"I understand all those words when you're not being a pretentious little bitch about it." He quipped, wiping grass off his arms. If he has to wash this uniform again, he might lose it. Who's idea was it to make uniforms that make any stains this obvious? Feels impractical.

"You do realize you can make a sentence without swearing, right? Do you know that's a thing you can do?"

"Fuck."

Jasper inhales, clearly resisting the urge to lecture. "Not getting sidetracked. Point is, you need to learn to be aware of your surroundings."

"And that means anticipating rude little assholes jumping me out of nowhere and ruining my day?"

"Exactly!" He shot him some finger guns, because that is a thing he did for some reason. "Also, swear jar. You've gotta expect the unexpected, sparky! Coven things."

"There's gotta be a better way to teach me than to jump me out of nowhere!"

"There isn't, actually. What better way to train your observation skills than to make you use them?"

"This feels extreme."

He just flashes him that stupid fuckin grin. "You'll get used to it. Trust me, you'll thank me for it later."

He rolls his eyes and shoves him lightly, like he always does. "Yeah. Sure I will, Jispo."

Jasper is...well, a lot of things. I'm gonna use the format of that one thing. He's a sweet heart. He's extremely manipulative. He's a backstabber. He's dangerously loyal. He's incredibly intelligent. He makes the stupidest decisions possible in the most logical way he can. He fears God. He views himself as a tool. He has so many wants and so many feelings and thinks he deserves none of them. A thing he has is he thinks that anyone who loves him only loves the version of himself he presents. He thinks the only one who loves the real him is Belos, and Belos treats him accordingly. He's a good dad. He's incredibly toxic. He's so many things at once and it's very hard to explain him. He's messed up and he loves his family and friends so so much. A very important thing about him is that he refuses to break a promise. That is one thing he will never do. He never makes a promise he can't keep. He will make his promises very specific in a way he will be able to keep them. He will bend himself inside out to keep a promise while doing whatever it is he's doing. He's charismatic and he's also such a fucking loser. I love him so much.

He has scales bc grimmie and is constantly taking them off to "look normal". When questioned he says they make people uncomfortable, and he's a coven head so he can't afford to be unsightly. He's...not great with self love. He views himself as someone who became irredeemable so his uncle wouldn't have to. Y'know that one post that's "I would kill for you. Please let me kill for you. I don't know how to express my love for you without destroying everything that hurts you. I've hurt you. I'm going to destroy myself." That's Jasper. That is very much Jasper. He doesn't know who he is outside of what service he can give. His self destructiveness a lot of the time isn't conscious. It's him not thinking about it. He doesn't think that he's denying himself resources when he feels like shit. To him, it's "eh, I'm too tired. I don't wanna." It's not conscious. He's silently destroying himself because he doesn't see a way out. He's aware one day he's going to fall apart if he doesn't die first. But there's no way out.

He's very protective, as I've mentioned. But sometimes that protectiveness causes him to do horrible horrible things. He's so intent on protecting the ones he loves that he strips them of their agency. He's not above manipulating them or lying to them if he thinks it'll protect them. I'm working on a fic about him right now so I might can it here? I've daydreamed about yoinking him out of toh and making a full blown story with him hahaha. I love him so much.

If you’re still taking requests can you delve a little deeper on how he would develop feelings for reader (pre or post merge which ever you want) it’s hard for me to think of how he’d go about it especially if they’d meet in the 94 prison world but like I said you write him so well I’d love to see what you think!! AHHHHHH omg thank you! I've already made a post thanking you and I wanted to say thank you for waiting for so long for this post! I'm also super happy that my writing stays authentic to the character since I myself can't read anything were the character is super sugarcoated and acts nothing like the canon version.

This is going to be the PRE-MERGE KAI and I will make an post-merge Kai hc afterwards. I need to remind you before reading that Kai canonically has ASPD which is a personality disorder that I did not do in-depth research into. Also, for the sake of romance I will tone it down a little so that romance can actually work out. (I personally don't believe pre-merge Kai was looking for any relationship in which he would have to actively put effort in)

Now that we've got that out of the way, enjoy:

I'm going with the scenario that you woke up alone in the Prison World and that both Bonnie and Damon came back to life...just you..didn't.

Waking up in the forest you walked back into the city, thinking that you were in the real world

Quickly you realised you weren't. You continued exloring and just let it sink in.

While you were unaware, Kai picked up rather fast that he wasn't alone in the Prison World anymore

He was quietly watching you from a distance and let you roam free for a few weeks

Obviously he picked up on your habits and routines since he had nothing better to do than watch from a distance

You were pretty, he had to admit to himself

You decided to stay at the Salvatore Boarding House since the first day and made yourself feel at home. It's cozy afterall, you made lots of memories with your friends here and it's walls didn't suffocate you like your own home did.

After you woke up and did your morning routine you went downstairs to the kitchen. Just before you opened the door to the kitchen you could hear something on the other side. Cooking. Humming. A male voice? Humming? You tried to open the door sneakily but the old wood creaked loudly and you cursed the house quietly under your breath. Kai's head quickly whipped around to the door and smiled slyly. "Ah, my mystery guest! Come on in, I made your favorite breakfast!" He chimned and looked to the door excitedly. He couldn't wait to actually talk to you. You opened the door and looked around carefully before staring at him. What the fuck.

In the kitchen there was a tall man standing there full of expectation and a towel thrown over his shoulder. The shocked look on your face didn't go unnoticed. A few more moments of you just staring started to make him slightly nervous. "Well? Cat caught your tongue?", he said grinning.

You decided to not run away or fight. A decision that turned your cards completely.

Kai decided to go easy on you, he was prepared to run after you and tackle you down if you had decided to run away but the fact that you didn't, made him somewhat proud

Breakfast was awkward because the sudden invasion of your home killed your appetite.

"Are you eating that?", he said after stuffing his face full with his own plate. "No.", you said and sipped on your coffee, watching him intrigued, "Can I have it?" he asked. "Go ahead" you replied and watched him practically shoving the food down his throat.

Safe to say your appetite didn't come around till maybe noon after seeing him eat like a pig

He was practically talking throughout the whole meal and you listend to him, not really saying anything, because what is there to say? You're dead afterall.

He was bombarding you with questions like "How did you get here?", "Are you a witch?", "What did you do before you woke up here?" and stuff like that.

He also revealed that he had stalked you and you just nodded awkwardly. "Cool..", you said and tried to avoid eye contact. He seriously was so intrugued by your reaction.

You also found out that you weren't dead. "Wait so I'm not a ghost in a weird ghost world?" "What? No! Are you stupid? This is a Prison World"

The rest of the day was full of tension because you knew what a prison world meant. It meant that he must've done something so horrible that his coven decided he had no right for a place in the real world anymore. And he was very agitated because he knew you knew and he knew that stalking people is weird. He was weird, he knew that. He really didn't want you to suddenly disappear or run away because of it.

In the first week or so he did not sleep at the Boarding House with you, once you decided it was bed time, he would get up and leave. And then he'd be back before you even woke up.

You both started talking and got to know each other. He made some trauma jokes every once in a while and you'd laugh it off. But you certainly knew the seriousness of his trauma.

One day he'd ask to move in. You say yes. And a new Era was born.

You were pretty, obv,

He knew, you knew, he hadn't seen anyone in like 20 years let alone a woman!

He never did anything that made you uncomfortable

I think it all started when you went to the grocery store alone and came back, unpacked all of the groceries and handed him one of his favorite snacks.

"Wow, these are my favorite! How did you know?" "What do you mean "How did you know"? You literally give me the puppy eyes every time I wanna eat one myself" you replied chuckling

He started to really "like" you

His heart went fluttering every time you'd remember anything that he likes or finds interesting (Atleast he'd describe it as "fluttering")

He was "falling" harder when he opened up about his past and you weren't judging(but he'd never admit that)

He started memoriesing literally anything you told him about you. Oh that one friend's name and complete family history? Yeah ofc! If I know your childhood counting from the months? Yeah, duh, I listen to ya when you talk.

He felt so seen.

Every time you'd look him in the eyes when either of you were talking. When you'd be amazed with his knowledge about some random topic or when you'd praise him for his great cooking skills. All these things pulled the strings on his heart harder and made it harder for him to actually go after his blood lust.

Some part of him still wanted to hurt you or injure you but he knew better but it also scared him.

He started being dependent on someone.

The longer you spend time around each other the more he'd let his true self show.

And he was so happy someone was willing to accept him.

Though, he was no patient man and he got angry easily.

He had bad days where any little word could trigger a meltdown and he had good days in which he'd only give small warnings when you stepped out of line.

He has a lot of pent up anger and frustration inside of him that result in him screaming and yelling on top of his lungs or throwing around things and intentionally destroying stuff around the house.

He once threw a fit over an argument and ended up throwing a vase after you. He barely missed your head and you ended up running out of the house angrily.

He even cursed after you but not even after 5 minutes he realised what had actually happened and he wanted to run after you but you were gone.

Traceless, as if you had never existed. He ran into the city and called out your name. He searched for you through the town but by the end of the day he wasn't even finished combing through half of the city and you were still nowhere to be found.

Which triggered another meltdown of him just screaming and crying frustrated. You could see him from the top floor of a building and stayed hidden. You knew better than go down there just for him to blame all of it on you again.

That night he wondered if maybe he did go crazy and there actually was no "Y/N" afterall. That the past months were just hallucinations and he created some perfect partner for himself because his loneliness started catching up to him.

The following day you came back to the Boarding House and he tried to play down his happiness as much as possible but he couldn't.

He was convinced you were the love of his life. His soulmate.

Because who would come back after all the shitty things he had done?

He didn't mention he went out to look after you and you didn't mention that you watched him meltdown in the middle of the road and pass out from exhaustion and stress because of it.

The longer you spend time together, the more he wanted a relationship and it just got more and more clear to you too. He wanted to be loved. He needed your love.

And as much as he was anticipating breaking free of the Prison World with you, he dreaded it as well.

He knew there were better men outside for you. Maybe not in looks but certainly in feelings. He knew he can't love you like everybody else. He can't. He can pretend though, pretend and lie.

And he would hope every day that you would not figure out that he did not have the heart that he claimed you had in your hands.

Once you did get out, Kai was clinging to you like you were his only life source.

He tried to keep everything like it was in the Prison World and would get frustrated quickly when realising that that's simply not possible.

He may not love you but he certainly did kind of care for you.

Words really can't describe how true to the characters I feel your fic is. I truly mean that. There are lots of pieces to break apart in Trigun and its main characters, and you manage to write their entire universe perfectly, beautifully! That includes emotionally and physically, Trigun is a tragic story of merciful morality vs total justice, and it reflects here even in the simplest words.

Another thing I appreciate is that you never beat around the bush with the details, I could sense the investment, you say how it needs to be said, I couldn't name a flaw if you paid me millions to seek one out. You don't need to read between the lines to read your fic but you do need to keep your ears open and your mind steeled. Because you need those things in a merciless dying world like Gunsmoke, with the way we were raised on the ships and how Vash and Kni will grow apart in the future you can't approach their topic without hardening your heart as their inevitable 'war' begins, the Reader feels so human and realistic-how we process trauma, dreams and emotions. We are very vulnerable, still at Kni's 'mercy' matterless if he really does love us, and I can practically feel it bleed through the lines.

Their war spams over a long period of 100 years, and I deeply doubt the Reader will live that long, I'm not ready for the future angst, for tragedy we will absolutely face! OOooh, I'm so excited.

I'll likely make more fanart later, now I'm gonna eat up more of your fics now >;33.

When I tell you I almost cried seeing this just now- His conflicted blushy face!! This is so good! I love it so much! The anatomy! The clothing details and the shading and all the little lines!! I feel like this really captures how he feels about reader. You did so well portraying it through posture and expression! I'm putting this in my little folder for fanart people have made for my fics so I can look at them forever.

Trigun really touched me when I needed it most and I'm still so invested in the 98 twins' personalities and dynamics most out of the three Triguns! I worry so much writing this fic and From The Past Or Future? Your Guess Is As Good As Mine about how well I'm portraying the characters and the world around them, so it makes me really happy to hear it comes across as I intended in Where Wild Roses Grow. I even bought these little BESM guidebooks for guidance and rewatch the episodes for a refresher, to get myself into that world and mindset for these two fics in particular to try and get myself into Vash's and Knives' heads. I so, so love how tragic the story is for Trigun because I think it speaks a lot to real life. There aren't always easy answers, and your options are sometimes even bad option a or bad option b. And oh boy are there things I really wanna hit on that I won't be able to in WWRG in FTPOF concerning Vash's growth throughout the 98 anime because I appreciate it so much. He's still so much like that little boy he was when he lost Rem in some regards. And it grieves me so much that he only had one year with her and he clings to that so much. Trigun just keeps stomping on my heart even though I've already been on the anime journey three times now. XD It still hurts!

I so, so love how Vash and Knives are portrayed in this version if I'm honest, and I think it really bleeds into this fic. The way they are set up as yin and yang with the guns and certain scenes just drives me absolutely feral with appreciation. The butterfly scene?! And the one where they're holding their guns to each other's foreheads?!? So good… Hhhh- 😭 Thank you so much! Omg. I'm so thankful to you and everyone who has left me kudos, comments, and bookmark comments on this fic, giving me inspiration and determination to continue it because I'm so happy with how it has turned out so far, and so happy it could touch and bring enjoyment to so many people. It all started as just a horny little idea of being in a twin sandwich (XD Which I didn't even use the original sex scene that spawned it all!) and just escalated from there. It went through several drafts before it became what it is now, and there are still portions I haven't decided whether or not to share in a final extras chapter or use for something else. I cannot say enough how, well, invested I am in these particular versions of the characters. I really wanted to touch on their trauma in this fic, the way they processed the cards they were dealt so early in life, and their wishes for the future. And oooh boy, I hope I really captured that persistent dreadful feeling of Knives' will just looming ominously always. He's such a… Wild card and very controlling, and it's interesting to analyze his change and how he becomes by the current times in the series.

AAAAA- I can't say anything!!! XD I want to, but… I'll spoil everything. aspfa0su- I'll just be blunt and honest and say the answer comes pretty quick next chapter as to reader's fate. And do prepare for angst because boy howdy. Depending on how things go in the writing department, this might just be the last one. I would just say there's not much left to have happen, but with the way I write,… Sometimes it just gets really out of hand, so I can't say. I just think this chapter will be the last. There's still a lot of feelings to process, especially on poor Vash's end. Oh, I am too!! X3 I've already started writing it. It's only 6KB that's strung together right now for the start of the chapter, but the entire document is 103KB, so there's plenty of notes and scenes to shift through and put together. A lot of time and effort tends to go into this fic's chapters so it could be a month or more before I finish it, but rest assured I intend to give it a conclusion in the near future if possible! >:3 I'm so hyped to get into the ideas I've been holding onto since even before its post date! This ending has always been the one I've had planned for it.

Sam, being the realist to Derek's dreams. I do like that Derek needs a right hand man to remind him of, like, reality.

Sheldon wants to be liked by Derek SO BAD. I cannot blame him. Also, Casey looked SO PRETTY just then and I cannot blame Sam for being sad.

Okay, I need to take a moment to talk about how well they handled the Sam and Casey thing. They both obviously just... Genuinely like each other as people, even if they know they don't work as a couple. But there's a lot of awkwardness and bruised feelings, but they WANT to be friends. And I'm so proud of both of them for talking it out.

I also love how, at the end, Derek and Casey are just chatting and talking like equals, like friends, both annoyed that they lost to Sheldon because they are incredibly competitive, but neither blaming the other because they know they did their best. And then them both getting the hell out of lame-ass dodge and the family jam session... Like: it's a glimpse of what they COULD be.

also, was it just me, or did the camera angles make Derek VERY tall compared to Casey in this episode? Sometimes they have them look almost the same height, putting them at the same level, but there were quite a few scenes where their 5-inch height difference was VERY CLEAR. I don't know what that means, but it means something... A reminder? That this is Derek's thing, not Casey? Hm... Something to think about.

Oh god I could go on a long, long thing about this.

If we're talking about the fun thing that Mikey promised Daphy, I shan't be spoiling what it is they do :x Leo is also involved but yeah it involves fireworks.

Pheo likes just. Being around Mikey and Donnie, the same way he likes just being around Deangelo! He doesn't relax easily, he's almost nearly always in "go-mode" out of habit. Donnie and Mikey help him get into that relaxed place. They like watching movies and Pheo does some teaching by sparring them. He feels most confident in his fighting skills, so that's what he tries to help them with. Mikey especially likes snuggling up in Pheo's arms (as the babiest of brothers with the second eldest of them). Pheo, much like Leo, likes to listen to Donnie and Mikey both talk. He's got enough Leo in him where if you get him on the right subject, he'll also start talking a lot, but that Raph in him makes him horribly shy about doing it, so he needs to be nudged to continue.

Deangelo thinks Raph and Leo are the coolest people to ever exist. He will talk all day to both of them. Leo and Deangelo talking is like neurodivergent communication going on and Raph feels very left out when they do talk. Deangelo likes sparring with Raph a lot! Dea relies a lot more on speed and precision than he does on brute force, so learning from Raph is a nice change of pace. He likes to snuggle with Pheo, too. Honestly I think all the fusions wouldn't mind snuggling with Pheo, but they don't get to meet each other face to face.

Mio plays games with Raph and Donnie and will win at anything they can get him to play (except chess, which is so boring that he gives up about halfway through). He loves reading comic books and watching space heroes and being creative! He's not very good at drawing, but he enjoys it anyway. Mio is the most likely to want to watch a tv show or movie. He'll watch just about anything, but Space Heroes is his absolute favorite. He also loves moving around a lot. Daphy and him hand out and bond by Mio hovering over Daphy while he works. He and Daphy will talk to each other a lot, and though Daphy has a very short temper, he's always exceedingly patient for Mio.

Daphy of course likes to build things. They're often destructive things, but it's because he likes the flashiness, the energy that gets released, having a big impact on something. Daphy's a little hard to get into without spoilers if I'm being honest, but he gets along much better with Mikey than he does Leo, even if Mikey does annoy him sometimes. Leo and him have a bit of an awkward relationship because of Daphy's actions, and the fact that Daphy doesn't treat Leo like the leader. Usually their bonding time is silent but close. They read books next to each other. That sort of thing.

Lonny loves designing things. If Raph and Mikey have an idea for it, he can draw it out for them. They're not always the most realistic designs, but the AESTHETICS. Lonny calms down once he has something to focus on, so usually they do targeted activities with him, like playing a game or watching movies. Mikey likes to lay on him (he is the tallest of the fusions) and Raph likes to spar with him. Lonny tends to freeze up with indecision and Raph gets that, so it's nice and helpful.

Machiel is a SNUGGLER. He doesn't care what you're doin, as long as he can snuggle, he'll be happy. He also wants to DO stuff. He wants to go out and beat up some foot bots or go hunting through the junkyard or go hop rooftops or sneak into a movie theater or something. He and Leo bond by sparring, which is off-putting for Leo because Machiel doesn't fight like a normal ninja should, but it's good practice! Donnie often gets overwhelmed quickly by Machiel, but Machiel asks questions and Donnie's happy to answer.

Machiel and Lonny interacting is another spoiler <3 but as you can see, I went on and this was just simple stuff. Enjoy fusion lore?? :'D

I'M SO FLATTERED WAHHHHH

OK so. Julieta and Agustin are devastated. They think their sweet little Mirabel is about to get a door, but instead, she just. Disappears. One second she's there and now she's gone. I think they'd be one of, if not the first to notice Mirabel has started control over Casita. They'd still be sad, but happy to know she's still alive in some way. All day everyday, they talk to her, spend time with the best they can, heck, they even decroato the house every year on her birthday.

Isabela, Dolores and Luisa start to panic. They practically turn the Encanto upside down and inaide out looking for her. And when it dawns on them that she's not coming back, they cry for weeks. They missed her so much, they hated that she was gone. After finding out she basically was Casita, the interacted with the house a lot more.

Camilo sulks all. Day. Long. For Months. He's always got this sad look on his face; he may be five, but even he understands that Mirabel won't be coming back. But, when he figures out she's Casita? He's ecstatic once again! Everyday, he greets her and does all that he can to interact with her, seeing that that's the closetest thing he'll get to playing with her.

The Warm Couple and Bruno is confused, lost and sad. Mirabel had just started her life and now all of the sudden she's gone? Never to come back? Never to experience her life? They spend the most time with the kids, especially Bruno, trying calm them down and keep them from breaking down entirely. Pepa storms for months afterwards, and the Encanto actually flooded. Bruno didn't leave, but he would only come out of his room to eat or play with the kids. Once all 3 figure out the whole Casita situation, they spend as much time as they can inside. They talk to her, learn what certain movements mean, etc etc; they're just happy she's back, they don't care how.

Alma is confused, but mostly defeated. Another sacrifice. Why couldn't it be her? Why Little Mirabel, she had so much to live for. Alma wishes that it was her who was used as the next sacrifice; she hates how it was Mirabel, because the girl was the closest person to Pedro she had ever had. And now she was gone. But as soon as someone tells her Mirabel is still around, she's frantic to keep everything perfect in the house. Not like shoving it in your face e perfect, but more like everything has to be pretty, things need to be just how Mirabel liked it or have objects Mirabel liked; not that the other family minds.

YES.. I DO HAVE A LOT OF IDOLS.. it is ny unfortunate curse after being rlly into idol animes/then kpop OWKDKL.. I do kinda lump in together idols with boy groups bc imo they're kinda the same?? Like idk man target audience is the same young teen - early adult females lol.

ACTUAL IDOLS

Julian, Kyuuga (Formerly), Akaiss, Natani, Riyyao (Eventually), Emikei and Yaorri (Formerly)

For Formerly.. Kyuuga left the idol life specifically because it was jeopardizing his families secrecy.. he didn't need his fathers people finding him out.. or his sibling.. or his other dad.. so he left. He was the lead rapper and main dancer!

Yaorri left simply because the lifestyle wasn't cut out for her. She was never as charismatic or outgoing as her peers and they used her cold demeanor for profit.. which soon turned into her biggest weakness and a point for people to give her criticism.. She was the face of the group she was apart of and a main rapper

Julian is LITERALLY the spitting image of a perfect idol. Like.. disgustingly charismatic.. his whole crybaby thing he's got really gets eaten up even though most people think it's a whole shtick when it's realistically.. just how he acts LOL. He's a sweetheart. He loves his fans (even if they scare him sometimes) and leads a pretty good life to boot! For a Fuchsia He's extremely humble LOL. Main dancer and Main singer!

Akaiss. I beat him to death /hj. He used the idol life to cover up a lot of his bad work.. like wyymm I killed someone? I was at practice and everyone here can prove it! ^^ .. He's extremely blunt and honest and self centered but people read it more of him being authentic and proud instead LOL. He's the face and main rapper and lead singer

Natani is a pretty devious guy.. but also in a pretty lazy way. He comes off as cool and calm and is very much a selling point for people who just kinda want a piece of sexy from a group. He's a sub vocal and visual LOL. He's got a lot more brand deals with many high end luxury brands compared to his other members.. just because he's kinda selling sexy rather that cute/mature

Eventually Riyyao does become an idol and rlly becomes the cool reserved guy who seems to not really care (Desmus genes).. but he does. A lot. He's playful and I think he's got a better grip on his narcolepsy at this point.. it'd just easier to gage kinda thing. He becomes a main rapper and visual ehe

Emikei is a busy gal. She's in a lot of different lines of work and she wants to spread some cheer! Always excited and peppy. Happy always! She kinda got into her line of work from modeling heh.. She's a lead vocalist and center for the group she's in

Would make AMAZING IDOLS In my opinion

Lammek, Nakaou, Travix, Nasuki, Milo and Yani

Lammek had thr potential to be an idol but got his chance cut down.. and he rlly doesn't care LOL. He's a handsome fucker and he knows it.. hes actually really gifted in singing but you'd never know. If in some random place he'd make for an amazing visual/lead singer/main dancer

Nakaou.. my baby boy .. outside of hs he went to an idol school and was pretty decent! He definitely fits your bill for a charismatic fella who's sunshine and rainbows all the time. Definitely could picture him in a lot of different concepts lol. But his current state not really could fit that bill. a lot of scars and his eyes won't let him. Definitely sub vocals and main rapper

Travix.. My poor deer.. If you weren't so shy you would've been a perfect idol boy.. (and ur circumstance LOL) .. Hes got some pretty doe eyes and I'm sure everyone would woobify him LOL. He would make an amazing lead rapper and main dancer! Probably a visual too he's pretty I love him

Nasuki is so fucking pretty are you kidding me. She would sell so much on sexy concepts and her confidence would make everyone run LOL. She's a very talented singer! She used to have time to perform when she was on Alternia but now a days she's always so busy.. Tho j would say her fans would see her smile and everyone would collapse LMFAO...anyways.. Visual and Lead vocals

Milo.. Case and point from last time. They're so fucking FINE. Definitely the guy your mom would never want you with and they're someone who kinda push boundaries so if they some how got to a record label that didn't push them into a box.. they'd sell so much LMFAO. Milo is confident and extremely knowledgeable on music so..Center/Leader/Lead Vocalist

Finally.. Yani.. If bby grl wasn't a kitsune shifter. That charismatic shamelessness they got would surely be a huge selling point. I don't think that she rlly has any kind of music prowess ngl.. probably more of a lead dancer and sub vocal at best but he's so pretty that you can't help but kinda.. peep what's ip LOL

Happy FFWF! 🧡 You know what I’m going to ask you…

Each of your OCs has a story with an overarching theme. What are these themes, and how did they develop with the characters and their stories?

And you know this question is the sole reason I'm actually playing this week 💛 So let's go:

Selene: There's many things going on with Selene but if you break it down, her theme is about the struggle between the responsibility we have to take for others vs. the wish and need to be our own persons and live out or freedom.

Caro: Everything about Caro is about the definition of beauty and her changing perception of it as she grows up. The theme kind of was always there and evolved into different aspects over time, with Brady as an artist showing her the beauty beyond the bare practical use of things, to her sister being scarred for life, to her issues with her own self-worth.

Henry: Henry's story deals with all of our bane, the impostor syndrome. With his gift for sensing the stories in the world surrounding him, he develops a fear of forgetting any of them and also being forgotten yet he never fully believes he is capable of telling his own story. Much of this as well as his unhappy love story came to me in a rush of angst where Henry spilled his heart to me, lol.

Caitlin: Caitlin suffers a lot by Selene not telling her the truth about her father and it’s the main reason for the troubled relationship with her mother. She is all about finding her roots and learning that only because someone is different and has different values it doesn’t mean that they’re a bad person. This was her concept all along but she was never meant to be more than a link in the family tree so her story was greatly expanded.

Lizzie: As my main girl, Lizzie has the most big fics and thus the most themes going on. But one thing that pops up in all of them is the theme of making mistakes, and that making mistakes is human and okay as long as you learn from them. The road to happiness is never straight, after all (thank you for the contribution, Orion 🙄). She is the OC who has developed the most and least out of all of them alongside these themes because she made the jump from self-insert to OC but from then on (aside from her plot line in Source of Balance) most of her story was set very early on.

Ava: It’s hard to talk about Ava without spoiling her story, but the main theme with her is forgiveness and learning to forgive - others as well as herself. Same as Lizzie, this was her theme from the very beginning.

Mina: Mina is one of my more realistic and relatable OCs, I think. For her story she had to learn how to grow out of her comfort zone and face the more bitter parts of life to come out on top. She was originally meant to focus more on overcoming her phobia of reptiles but it turned into her current theme pretty early on.

Dana: Dana’s main struggle is the idea modern society has of how a young, independent woman should be. She knows it’s a privileged to be able to do what you love for a living, but deep in her heart she also feels that this is not what is fulfilling her and she wishes for a more traditional life. This is something about her I realised only very recently. I didn’t want to give her the angst but she literally begged me for it.

Dylan: Dylan is all about the (realistic) miscommunication between men and women. As funny as it sounds, especially when there are actual problems involved, his stoic approach can often come across as cold or him not caring and he has to learn to take people expressing their emotions more intensely than him seriously. This concept developed alongside Dana’s angst fest, naturally.

Reva: Reva pushed her theme on me with all her power and it took me a while to understand what she wanted from me. Interestingly enough, her concept is the one who translated from concept to the actual writing process. Only when I let her out of her old ship and my plans for her and let her discover her own self and her self-love was she ready to truly let people in and love someone else.

How to Overcome Your Fears and Achieve Your Goals 💪

Hello, gorgeous souls! Welcome back to my blog, The Diary of an It Girl, where I share with you my journey of becoming an it girl, and how you can join me.

In my previous post, I introduced myself and explained what an it girl is, and why you would want to be one. If you haven't read it yet, you can check it out here. In this post, I want to talk about one of the biggest obstacles that prevent us from becoming it girls: fear.

Fear is a natural and normal emotion that we all experience from time to time. It can be useful in some situations, as it alerts us to potential dangers and helps us prepare for them. However, fear can also be harmful, especially when it becomes excessive, irrational, or paralyzing. Fear can stop us from pursuing our dreams, taking risks, trying new things, and living our best lives.

I know this from personal experience. I used to be afraid of many things, such as public speaking, rejection, failure, criticism, and even success. These fears held me back from expressing myself, reaching out to others, taking opportunities, and achieving my goals. I was living in a comfort zone, but I was not happy or fulfilled.

But then, something changed. I decided to face my fears and overcome them. I decided to challenge myself and grow. I decided to become an it girl.

How did I do it? Well, it wasn't easy, but it was worth it. I learned some effective strategies that helped me cope with my fears and overcome them. And today, I want to share them with you, so you can do the same.

Here are some of the strategies that I used to overcome my fears and achieve my goals:

1. Identify your fears. The first step to overcoming your fears is to acknowledge them. You can't fight what you don't know. So, take some time to reflect on what you are afraid of, and why. Write down your fears on a piece of paper, and be as specific as possible. For example, instead of writing "I'm afraid of failure", write "I'm afraid of failing my exam, because I think I will disappoint my parents, lose my scholarship, and ruin my future".

2. Challenge your fears. The second step to overcoming your fears is to challenge them. Most of our fears are based on false or exaggerated assumptions, beliefs, or expectations. So, we need to question them and replace them with more realistic and positive ones. For example, instead of thinking "I will fail my exam, because I'm not smart enough", think "I can pass my exam, because I have studied hard, and I know the material". To challenge your fears, you can use some techniques such as cognitive restructuring, affirmations, or evidence-based thinking.

3. Expose yourself to your fears. The third step to overcoming your fears is to expose yourself to them. This means gradually and repeatedly facing the situations or objects that you fear, until you become less afraid of them. This is also known as exposure therapy, and it is one of the most effective ways to overcome phobias and anxiety disorders. For example, if you are afraid of public speaking, you can start by practicing in front of a mirror, then in front of a friend, then in front of a small group, and so on, until you feel comfortable speaking in front of a large audience.

4. Seek support from others. The fourth step to overcoming your fears is to seek support from others. You don't have to do this alone. You can ask for help from your friends, family, mentors, coaches, or therapists. They can offer you emotional support, practical advice, feedback, or guidance. They can also encourage you, motivate you, and celebrate your achievements with you. You can also join online or offline communities of people who share your goals, interests, or challenges. You can learn from their experiences, tips, and stories, and you can also support them in return.

5. Reward yourself for your progress. The fifth step to overcoming your fears is to reward yourself for your progress. You deserve to be proud of yourself for facing your fears and overcoming them. You deserve to celebrate your achievements and enjoy your results. So, don't forget to treat yourself with something that makes you happy, such as a gift, a compliment, a hug, or a break. Rewards can also reinforce your positive behavior and motivate you to keep going.

Before I wrap up this post, I want to share with you the motivation behind this blog. I created this blog because I was frustrated with the lack of useful information in most self-improvement accounts. I wanted to see something more than vague tips, generic advice, and unrealistic expectations. I wanted to see something that actually works.

That's why I decided to share my own journey, my own strategies, and my own results with you. I wanted to show you that self-improvement is not only possible, but also fun, rewarding, and life-changing. I wanted to show you that you can be an it girl, too.

hi, sorry if you'd rather not receive questions like this, but i remember you from the replies of that one ao3 volunteer who was terminated for their slack status. so if you see otw's most recent news posts you'll know that the comment sections r filled with people protesting about otw's stance on the colonization happening to palestine. the otw's been freezing comment threads left and right. unsure if they've also been deleting comments but i dont wanna be tendentious. anyway there was a comment that essentially rejected the notion that whats happening in gaza is a genocide, and its left up by the otw mods its just frozen. since i cant comment on that thread, i just left a separate comment that it is in fact ethnic cleansing of the palestinian people. my comment hasnt been deleted but apparently its been hidden (maybe for review?) but it hasnt been unhidden for days 🫠 i keep secondguessing myself like, is my wording too incendiary, maybe its not the content maybe its how i wrote my sentences and i was offensive w/o realizing it. but you know what, i think you and that otw volunteer who got kicked out were right, i'm so done with giving the otw the benefit of the doubt, at this point me being afraid of being tendentious is just giving them the permission to be tendentious. disappointed but not surprised...

hi anon! it's totally fine—i understand needing to vent and it seems like you needed to talk to someone about this, so i'm all ears <3

with regards to ao3/the otw, i do notice that they tend to hide comments about controversial topics (which, unfortunately, the true nature of what's happening in palestine is included 🙄) the newer they are/the later they are commented on a news post, regardless of content. if you look through some news posts you'll see that a lot of hidden comments tend to be on the newer parts of the pagination. however, i'm also only speculating - who really knows why some comments are frozen and some are screened. i personally would like to believe that the new board members, who've been posting a lot of these comments (which i appreciate, since they were turned over just a couple of months ago and already doing a lot of public-facing work in the face of backlash), are more nuanced and mature than that.

when it comes to something so "this is so easy even me and my friends can do it" like ao3 i try to be realistic with time and optics and decision making, since, let's be real, the otw is not akin to something like walmart or amazon or taylor swift. i know it's easier to see ao3/otw as a larger entity considering the impact it has on a lot of fans' lives, but even while i disagree with a vast amount of decision making and how the culture operates, that doesn't make it equivalent to having the power a corporation/corporate website would have.

i'm sorry that this is such a painfully diplomatic response and probably not the one you wanted BUT i think it's also important to clarify that the otw is not a company seeking to spread its own agenda nor is it a powerful nonprofit within a certain subset of people with always the same people in power. it is, as it says, fan-run, and the fact of the matter is that unfortunately there are a lot of fans who like slash and women who also think that what's happening in palestine isn't ethnic cleansing, and the culture surrounding the otw allows people who have different beliefs to still participate and hold power within the org, regardless of what those beliefs are (see: the american republican candidate from this year). and all things considered i understand that but that's also why i think that having a channel where people can talk about such extremely sensitive topics like this was a bad idea in the first place, because it was practically inviting conversations and situations like this to happen. perhaps if i held a position of power in the otw i would handle things differently, but i'm not and i don't really have any interest to be, but i'm also happy to criticize those who do in hopes of something better. and the thing about the otw is that on some level it can be accessible enough for a fan to go "i don't like how this is right now and i would like to make a difference" and volunteer and possibly do just that.

however, their public relations definitely needs improving and i've sadly been doing it on some level just because i don't believe in spreading misinformation lol. hence why you are having these experiences and feeling this way, and why i'm answering your ask in this manner. they don't seem to realize or care how freezing some comments and screening others comes off, and currently don't care to clarify that to many confused fans such as yourself. that, i think, is another pretty glaring issue with the otw in this situation.

In this entry, I will evaluate the critical questions: What is the main purpose of this artifact's message and how are ethos, pathos, and logos used in this rhetorical artifact to achieve that purpose? Also if the speech is ethical or unethical? I analyzed a speech by Jordan Belfort from the movie Wolf of Wall Street. He builds his ethos through examples of his commitment and his focus on the team's well being, using a pathos appeal to inspire /fire up the team, and creating a logos appeal through excellence of sales strategy, Jordan Belfort attempts to build up the team, to see themselves better than what they are and that with his help that they can be great. Overall it’s an ethical message Jordan Belfort presents as it inspires the team with his wisdom and uses rhetorical appeals to show the value and greatness of unity.

This speech is from the middle of the movie “Wolf of Wall Street” (2013). In this scene, the speaker is Jordan Belfort who is the CEO of Stratton Oakmont. As the ambitious and charismatic stockbroker he is, gives an energetic and motivational speech to motivate his sales team to inspire them to achieve financial success.

The ideology in Jordan Belfort's speech is one of relentless ambition, financial success, and the pursuit of material wealth. It serves as a motivational and inspirational ideology of isocrates that strongly resonates with the sales team and the audience, which emphasizes the values that guides the sales team to achieve financial wealth and success. The notion of rhetorical ideology is crucial in the study of persuasion and communication because it clarifies how language and discourse are used to advance specific worldviews and shape public opinion. What Mirhady says about Isocrates' ideology is that “Now these people have become so bold that they try and persuade the young that if they study with them they will know what they need to do and through this knowledge they will become happy. And once they have established themselves as teachers and masters of such great gods, they are not ashamed to demand only three or four minas for them” (Mirhady). Isocrates approached persuasion with a more practical mindset. In order to accomplish certain objectives, he underlined the value of realistic, convincing strategies and good communication. Isocrates method was frequently more concerned with the speaker's popularity and impact which could be visualized through Jordan Belfort’s speech.

Jordan Belfort builds on his ethos by establishing himself as a credible character through his professionalism and experience. Belfort says “I'm not talking about giving the clients what they want. I'm talking about giving them something they didn't even know they wanted." (Belfort). The language he chooses to use is very impactful because it lays the foundation of what knowledge he knows from the job that he is allowed to teach others how to be great at it as well. Belfort is portrayed in this quotation as a creative and forward-thinking leader. It implies that he possesses the know-how to lead his group in exceeding clients' expectations in terms of value. He seeks out the customers and allows them to give them his trust with what he believes would be beneficial for them. The element of persuasion to give high pressure sales to clients is a key skill to being a stockbroker. His willingness to challenge a conventional sales practice to what he does ultimately provides the clients more than they expect.

Belfort builds on pathos by using tremendous passion, energy and enthusiasm. Belfort says “Let me tell you something. There is no nobility in poverty. I’ve been a rich man, and I’ve been a poor man. And I choose rich every fucking time. Cause, At least as a rich man, when I have to face my problems, I show up in the back of a limo wearing a $2000 suit and $40,000 gold fuckin watch!” (Belfort). Belfort evokes strong feelings in the team by drawing a contrast between the lives and lifestyles of the wealthy and the impoverished. It evokes feelings like desire, aspiration, and the fear of impoverishment by presenting an impression of the advantages and rewards of wealth. The emotional appeal takes the shape of a liking for wealth and the feelings it arouses in the team. Belfort puts the fear of being “broke” and that as a man who once was being rich is a better lifestyle that comes with luxury and financial stability.

Belfort is also to build some logos in his speech by showing them what is possible for the members of his team to obtain. Belfort says “I want you to deal with your problems, by becoming rich!” (Belfort). This statement doesn’t justify the reason or logic but what it does is apply a logical approach to problem solving. Belfort makes the argument that becoming wealthy may help with personal issues, which can be seen as a workable solution predicated on monetary success. He uses himself as an example of how once he became successful all his problems went away. Stopped worrying about money and lived the life he wanted to live. To solve the problems of his fellow sales team members, the logical approach of becoming rich and following him would be the key to all their problems. He gave his team living proof of what they can achieve in life.

Jordan Belfort’s speech in “The Wolf of Wallstreet” is undoubtedly portrayed as a productive and effective piece of communication within the context of the film. First he instills a sense of ambition, relentlessness, and unwavering commitment among his sales team. He fosters a deep connection not only to his work which he loves to do but also to his sales team which pushes them to achieve financial success. He pledges to stay with them and to follow his lead into the sales world as they he can help make you rich. While what happens later in the movie and tactics along with his work is shady and frowned upon, his motivation to make something better of the people around him stays true. The team is stronger with him and without him the people around him would be nothing, making close to nothing in a financial aspect if he wasn’t there. He proves to them that he is the right man for the job to take them on this journey of success.

In conclusion, the speech given by Jordan Belfort from the movie “Wolf of Wall Street” (2013), delivers the ideology through his rhetorical appeals, evident through rhetorical analysis of his speech. Belfort skillfully establishes his ethos throughout his speech by demonstrating his unshakable dedication to their achievement and his sincere care for his team's welfare. His use of pathos appeal seeks to arouse strong feelings in his team members, appealing to their aspirations for both monetary and personal achievement. Additionally, Belfort creates a persuasive appeal by highlighting the superiority of his sales approach, reiterating the idea that adhering to his advice may result in observable outcomes. Whether what he did was ethical or not the speech itself is ethical in helping his team strive for greatness.

Have you read the book 13 Reasons Why or watched the show? I read and enjoyed the book, but I refuse to watch the show. I just... don't like how it presents things, at least from what I've seen. This is just a topic that I feel needs to be handled VERY delicately when it comes to entertainment.

Have you ever used Proactiv? IIII don't think so? I've never been a massive yogurt person and also that stuff is expensive.

Do you like dirt or sand better? Sand, to LOOK at. Walking in it is actually nearly impossible for me; the last time I visited the beach with Colleen when the effects of muscle atrophy had really set in in my legs, I could very, very barely get through it, and this was years ago. There's no telling how I would handle it now.

Do you own a BEST FRIEND charm or figurine? Like halves of necklaces and bracelets from childhood that I've saved, yeah.

Do you own a pet spider? I FUCKING WISH. :( I honestly need to stop checking Craigslist for tarantulas, I do it a lot just out of the desperate wish of having one, and when I see a bargain, it is SO hard to not ask my mom again. No spiders for me til I move out. :/ She won't even allow jumping spiders.

Are there any fake tattoos on you? No, just real ones.

When’s the last time you saw your grandpa? Mom's dad died when I was a baby, so I have zero memories of him. I've seen Dad's dad I know at least once, but this was also when I was extremely young so I really don't remember him, either... It's something that was always really painful, because he would without fail send my sisters and me WAY too much money on Christmas despite barely knowing us at all. Now he's dead and I will always regret not going with my dad to Michigan when I had the chance. I literally stayed home JUST because of Internet access and that's fucking disgusting and pathetic and sad.

Is there a rocking chair in your house? Yeah, in our living room.

Have you ever been kicked in the throat? Holy shit no, that sounds AWFUL.

Do you own a fishtank? No, those aren't really my thing. Have you ever swam in a creek? Not a creek, but I have swum in the shallow banks of a river.
