good things that happened this week:

scheduled a tattoo consultation im excited about!! ive had the idea and the commissioned piece and the gift certificate ive needed for a while but im gonna figure out where exactly i want it. its for the bunnies :)

shopping with my wife :) we didnt find much, which was a bummer since she needed some things, but it was nice to spend time with her all afternoon

really lovely brunch date <33333 my wife tried the reuben (one of her favorite things to get + the thing she got elsewhere last week that ended up not being good) at a place nearby we really like and she liked it!! i tore up some pigs in a blanket

movie night with quint :) we watched the original nightmare on elm street. i got to share my thoughts / knowledge about it + wes cravens work which was fun but most of all it was cool hearing his thoughts esp as someone pretty new to slasher aside from scream. wanna make him watch cravens new nightmare with me sometime but maybe gotta start with other slasher first

got a lovely new gargoyle squishmallow!!! his name is gio 🥹

board game night ruled this week. we finally got to try here to slay and it was so much fun and really easy to pick up!! i won a few times too >:) jenga tetris was tense and goofy as hell as always. i love my friends

Oh my gosh really?? This isn’t weird at all! I really want to do some more, I’m glad that it turned out well in your opinion! I’m excited to do more. I’m going to be seeing what else I own which sits similar to his style and it appears I have quite a bit so I’ll be picking out some illustrations of him I want to focus on. I want to get some black rings like he wears, and some similar flat shoes, but I have the same boots so I can use those. I also wanna see if I can neutralise the blonde a bit more for my hair and get a slight trim, as it luckily happened to be his hairstyle but it’s a bit grown out. I have considered attempting a Shizuma cosplay as well as his hair and face is to die for… but I feel like I’m not hench enough to pull off that guys strong toned physique. 😂 I can’t say a time I’ll be posting some more, hopefully soon, it’s all to do with motivation and sometimes I can be pretty slow with that but having someone looking forward to it inspires me very much. 🖤 Even more, coming from a blog that likes the character too, I’m honoured!

I had to go to Walmart today in order to feed myself because my roomates were out of town.

I bought a Black Forest Cake because Portal. It gut!

I wanted some Magic: the Gathering cards as well... but like...

There's a small business in town that sells nerd-game stuff and I wanna support small businesses because fuck Walmart and also

I am smitten by the shop owner.

He ALWAYS wears a grey T-shirt, black jeans, black boots, black baseball cap and sunglasses. (He also has a gun but... I guess that's business)... But today, TODAY! I got to see him without the cap... and he's soo cute!! He even buys dice sets that have animals in them specifically because "they're so cute"! And whenever you buy a card booster pack from him, he holds out the box and says, "CHOOSE your destiny!" And then he smiles... He also makes a point of keeping his shop as friendly to kids and newcomers as possible... When a kid enters the store EVERYONE gets PC and polite, no kids, pretty much anything goes. He also makes a point of checking on me and making sure I'm comfortable whenever anyone says anything remotely sexist or offensive, he'll apologize... He makes me feel special but, again, that's business... So I can't let myself get into my head, or I'll just get hurt... like always... heheh. He also has small doggos! Maybe this is just some PMS bullshit (I got sick of paying $75 for birth control... And well, this'll be my first Time without it... So, I think it might end up being a doozy)...

What am I going to do with me?!?

I also said that I'd confess my true feelings if I survived County Fair rides... Soooooooooooooooo. 😰

Bruh... Those Fair rides where sketchy as FUCK! And I said this on one of those Zero Gravity rides that fucking goes VERTICAL! I HATE BEING "OLD"! I never used to have this much anxiety over coaster rides... They also never made me sick, but I almost passed out from gental G Forces... on a pendulum ride!

Also, at that same fair... I was in a Goth Lara Croft cosplay (accidentally) and my hair is split dyed (currently a deep bluish purple)... and like... I think I look attractive but like...

Apparently a carnie STROKED MY PONYTAIL! As he told me my hair was beautiful, but since I'm hard of hearing he proceeded to brush my shoulder to get my attention and then repeated himself... also... There were a couple of rides that didn't allow single riders so I had to ride with strangers (which was fine I guess) but apparently one girl seemed way too enthusiastic about me sitting with her (leading my roommates to make some astute observations that I clearly missed... Thanks but no... I'm rarely attracted to men and ever less often attracted to women and also... Minors are just not my thing, no offense, but to me, a grown adult, minors are gross)...

But like, how many other people find me attractive and just don't tell me for whatever stupid ass reason.

Paulina rolled her eyes. She looked really weird with her curly hair braided tightly to her skull and shoved under what looked like his mom's panty hose. "Oh can it Baxter! We had someone from outside the group claim Mami waaaay ahead of time, and since she'd going to be our 'adult guardian' for this event I'm not going to say no."

"Yeah, but... really? First you tell us you got tickets to some... weird nerd con, then you tell us to be all hush hush about it, and and now you want me and Kwan to wear-"

"It's the 21st century, guys wear skirts all the time! Pretend it's a kilt if you wanna complain. Plus I'm not going to be shown up by other people in the same costumes just because they have a full group!" Paulina pouted, pink-painted on brows furrowed.

Kwan decided to come in the room at that moment. "Yeah, Dash- it's just a weekend, it'll be fun. Plus think of all the girls who will think we're hot for doing this for our besties?" He also had a weird hose-sock thing over his hair. It was a little strange to see Kwan with so much extra make-up on, but he knew his bro would wear foundation from time to time, so eyeliner and the like wasn't that much a difference.

"Yeah, but I know the story- I didn't think you'd wanna be the mermaid hero girl." He tried to hide the fact he absorbed a lot more of the plot than he did when Paulina dragged them all over to watch her favorite anime of the month.

"Listen, I picked everyone for a reason. I get to be Madoka since she's so precious and adorable. Star gets to be Homura since she's always got my back. And I picked Sayaka and Kyoko for you and Kwan since you two are basically attached at the hip. And you're the angrier one, so that by default makes Kwan Sayaka-chan!" Paulina placed a pink pigtailed wig on her head with a flourish. Once she shook it out gently she squeed at her reflection. "Anyways we support your totally 'not gay' obsession with NSYNC, so can you guys just do this for me? The tickets and costumes were like, super expensive! Papa was already iffy about us going until I got us a 'mature chaperone'."

"Yeah Dash, Paulie went like, so out of her way to get us all some really nice cosplays. The least you can do is be supportive. Plus she gave you guys the costumes that best suit your complexions, too- and did all of your makeup without complaining." Star expertly tucked the long black wig's hair behind her shoulder before she adjusted her weird tight-boot-heel things. "It'd be a waste of money and time to back out now. Plus she gave you one of the more tomboyish designs to wear- it even has shorts."

Dash pouted, he was still holding the garment bag Paulina threw at him an hour ago, too nervous to try it on. "I'd be more happy if I was allowed to have a gun like you are! What even is the prop you commissioned from the nerd committee?"

Kwan spun his fake sword around in a circle with a giggle. "She has a spear, remember. Paulina got one made that's juuust below the con center's regulation height, and it looks legit. Oh, hey star can you help me get the wig on? I'm having trouble with it and the barrette!!"

Dash groaned in defeat, slightly crumpling the garment bag. "Fine! I'll do it- not because I like this dweeb shit, but because I don't wanna see Paulina kill me for ruining her weekend. I'll be back in a bit, just. Wait a little, I need to remember how to put something like this on."

Dash stomped off. Paulina pumped her fist in excitement. "We are gonna look so good! Do you think someone will film us for a music video? I see this con usually has a group that makes really really good ones every year."

The three teens talked a while before Dash made his way back to the living room, cosplay donned and looking perfectly fitted to him.

Kwan gave a wolf whistle. "Damn, they should have given her muscles in the show! It would have been so cool, like how they do in Dragon Ball!"

Dash felt himself blush a little, rubbing the back of his neck. "Thanks bro. Now one of you ladies come over and help me get the wig on- I don't think I've ever worn anything that long on my head before..."

Star grinned and hopped off the couch, heels clicking loudly on the tiles as she sauntered over. She had dash sit facing the door as she worked, and the doorbell rang in the middle of her stabbing the thirteenth bobby pin into his skull. He heard talking, a feminine (somehow familiar voice) came from the other side of the threshold before the mystery 'responsible guardian' stepped through.

"Wow you guys all look so different! And the makeup!! Paulina you did great- I'll have to ask you to do my liner once I'm done driving there." Jazz Fenton looked at their group with the widest smile, costume looking excellent on the senior student.

"Fenturd's sister is our chaperone??? Aren't you worried she'll tell her dork brother?" Dash asked before Star sprayed his entire face with some rank smelling hairspray.

"Hey if Danny keeps secrets from me, I can keep secrets from him. Plus I'm friends with Star and Paulina too- you guys just don't seem to notice when I hang around them." Jazz scoffed. "Plus I'd never break Paulina's trust. Even if I have no idea why you guys keep hobbies secret. Anime isn't the nerdiest thing you can be into."

"Plus she's like, the only senior who can drive AND whose parents don't care where she is as long as she checks in. And her car has seats for all of us!!" Paulina did a little happy dance, her red heels clacking against the tile cutely.

Dash was lifted out of his seat by Kwan. The group all looked at each other for a moment before Star made a noise of surprise. "Wait, wait- let me get a pic before we leave! We gotta make sure we do it before we walk around and get all like, wrinkled or one of us loses the wig."

"Yeah! Selfie time!!" Kwan clapped happily, grabbing Dash close with one arm and Jazz with the other.

They set the timer and shoved the phone in a selfie stick before crowding together.

"Alright everybody! Say 'Colossalcon Cool!'" Paulina cheered.

The phone clicked when they all said the cheesy phrase, immortalizing their group. No doubt Paulina would be posting it on her secret kawaii aesthetic Instagram account before the end of the day.

"Alrighty guys, let's get going before traffic gets bad. Plus I don't wanna stand outside in the heat to wait for our badges." Jazz pointed a key fob outside and the A-listers heard the beeps of her car unlocking. "Let's bounce."

I know you wrote a post about Galra theatre a while ago, but I just realized that the Galra would /totally/ write plays about Lotor and Keith's Epic Romance (TM). I can imagine the paladins going to see one just so they have more material to tease Keith and Lotor with but at the end Pidge goes up to the actor playing Lotor and is like "yeah you did pretty good but the monologuing about how stunning Keith is needs to ramped up about 500% if you wanna be realistic".

okay but what if this takes place before Lotor reclaims the throne,,, and it's not just any acting troupe but rather,,,,,, the space equivalent of the ember island players,,,,,,,,, that would be e v e r y t h i n g to me good lord can you //imagine//

Keith is the classic galra femme fatale, all skintight body-armor and marmora wiles as he seduces his way into Imperial High Command and strikes all who oppose him down, body and heart alike. In this retelling, it's him (not Thace) that allowed Voltron to escape all those phoebs ago, and this is where he and Lotor first crossed blades: starcrossed lovers from the start.

Keith tries (and fails) to argue that his Marmora gear isn't quite that formfitting thank-you-very-much, and also there was no seducing! Lotor wasn't even there! And besides, he never even left his lion, all his attention being focused on Zarkon at the time, and no Lance there was no seduction involved in that fight as you fULL WELL KNOW STOP LAUGHING-

The most accurate part of the whole debacle is Lotor's grand introductory speech which he gave upon defeating Throk and becoming Emperor pro-tem, transcribed almost word-perfect. It has Keith gently nudging the prince with a teasing lilt to his tone as he echoes "true galra do not take the throne by stirring up insurrection in darkened chambers, they rise through honourable rite of combat," because he's so dramatic.. and kind of incredibly hot too, but Keith won't admit that aloud.

Speaking of Lotor, the actor portraying him is insultingly short, shorter than every other actor in fact (including Pidge!), because for some reason the fools who cast this didn't consider that while he may be on the shorter side for a galra, he is not so in comparison to non-galra people, of which the paladins are entirely comprised.

Pidge is the only member of the main cast who is not portrayed as galra (still by a galra actor, mind you) because for some ridiculous reason the director seems to have decided that she, with her incredible intellect, is of the same species as Slav... and indeed, one convoluted subplot concerning her determination to rescue her father somehow merges with the time when they broke Slav out of Beta Traz and- and the play reveals Slav to be her father. Shiro nearly screams.

To be fair though, Shiro has been losing his mind from the beginning when the actor portraying him turned out to be a 9foot tall Aalk man with a badly painted-on bionic arm......... on the wrong side. (and just like in atla, Shiro is mistaken for wearing a really cool but anatomically incorrect champion cosplay, which drives him further over the edge of insanity)

Lance's character is the damsel???? A running theme of the play seems to be that every planet they go to, Lance ends up collecting heroic lover after heroic lover, and he'd be mad at it if the actors playing his love interests weren't all devastatingly hot, but as it stands? He figures there are worse things to be known for than the fact he pulls in every corner of the universe.

The galra portraying Hunk is just all around the coolest buffest fluffiest galra any of them have ever seen, and a fan-favourite to boot (his loyalty is highly prized by Imperial theatre-goers, and the yellow paladin seems to have garnered quite the following), leaving him as the only one them who's sincerely happy with his portrayal.

Allura is... old. Like...... really old. Just this wrinkly old-lady galra in a bad wig who takes thrice as long as necessary to deliver her lines, because apparently the Empire is aware that she's been around for millennia, but have no idea that she's been in stasis and instead just assume that alteans live that long I guess?? It's a better fate than poor Coran, who's been excluded from the narrative entirely, but still.

Okay I have to know, why did you pick SH3?

(for me I remember being a young teen and seeing it at the video store, I had play Resident Evil, and other horror games, but SH3 just really struck me because the protagonist was a teen girl just like me! (And we were rocking the same hair at that point) I was actually a few years younger but I could aspire to Heather, she was also so capable, I mean she found herself in this crazy hell world and was just like getting through it, she sassed everyone (gotta love her giving the business to Vinny and Claudia) she wasn't some helpless girl who needed to be rescued (not to say there aren't bad ass ladies in games) but I hadn't seen anything like that before, and then add the OST, otherworld was just so insane...I mean it was perfect and began my real love of horror games.

Oh and Vincent was just too charming....and Robbie was the perfect mascot.

Tbh i never saw my bros playing SH3, all i know is that one of em played it on my grandma's house..at night..all alone (the perfect horror experience for a good horror game 😎) and i know u just wanna know why SH3 is my fav but I NEED to tell the whole story of how i met this nice game franchise so u can understand-

but SH3 wasn't my first SH game in that love story, I first touched SH: Shattered Memories on my bro's Wii and got stuck right in da first part where Harry get's out of his car and go search for Cheryl on da streets (yes i was a big noob), then i never touched it again. So some years later one of my bros decided to play SH4 but the intro was just too terrifying for my scared ass so i just quit LMAO. so in 2019 after i finished with my Death Note fever i asked my self "huh...what's with the Silent Hill thing..hmmm i remember seeing my bros playing the 4th game.. i need to give it a try ig" then instead of being terrified by the intro it fascinated me and i became a big fan of the 4th game.......................but then i met SH3 and SSHEEESSHHHHHH--

I started the game, at first sigh the intro didn't impress me too much (til i watched it sum more times and literally couldn't stop listening to da intro music while going to school yes life GUUDDD) so i kept playing, it was too much information for my little brain in just one gameplay and i was just entering the fandom--

All the 90s teenager vibe captivated me, and omg HEATHER....HEATHER MA LITTLE SPRINKLE SPLOINKY!!!!

Your reasons for liking her are basically the same as mine, she's an fearless female teenager and ABSOLUTELY BASED, she kills da monsters and that's it SHE KIILLL SHE'S EPIKKKKK and i relate A LOOOT cuz when i met the game i was a teen just like her, she's officially my favorite female character 😌

Also that pog outfit, damn that coat... i fuckin want that coat... also she's the reason i started liking skirts, i bought fuckin boots bcuz of her OHH I also bought the green skirt and the orange shirt ONLY AND EXCLUSIVELY bcuz of her, and i intend to cosplay her btw😎 i just need the coat and some good blonde wig bcuz i'll never bleach my fuckin hair ever again *sobs* it fucked up w ma hair a bit--

And wot can i say about Vincent??? fuckin hot and charming yeah, sassy jus like me, i relate a bit (just a bit *forcep finger gesture* A BITTT) and somehow he always makes me laugh at this point no matter the cutscene (ok the last matter, the way he reacts to da stab is incredibly funny for me even tho i wish he didn't die), the fuckin way he walks????? pretty gay and elegant, his og voice actor is a fucking legend his voice's so pretty??? i hear him i fucking???? (dude when he low pitch his voice...damn...damn bro *dies*) his outfit is rlly nice and i like that vibe and tbh i started to like round glasses JUST bcuz of him...

Hmm CLAUDIA??? DUDE SHE'S THE BEST ANTAGONIST IMO EVER... she's so serious and intimidating, she's kinda creepy also but WHO CARES i love her...she's also another char that makes me laugh for no reason during the gameplay bcuz idk???? i just laugh. she's fuckin cool, she's also a MILF!!! FUCKIN MILF AHEAD!!!!!

After my first SH3 gameplay i played SH2 and then SH1 (love how i just played the games in reverse order but who cares tbh lmao) and then i got back on my Death Note fever in 2020--

But then 2021 came and near August or something like i played SH3 again and all the passion i used to have came back WITH SUCH STRENGTH THAT OMFG DUDE!!! I gotta be honest that i wasn't even that horny for Vincent but that last gameplay made me go crazy somehow- that's when i met that chaotic site bcuz i saw a lot of Silent Hill fanarts came from here so i was like "hmm i may try my luck here" AND HERE WE ARE!! and i'm absolutely glad to have met every single mutuals i have here, love to be part of all this mess and love doing fanservice 😌👉👈💖💖
