What are your thoughts on Peter pettigrew? In swm we saw him fanboying over james to being responsible for his death. Just because he was afraid or he never really loved his friends. Many people say James and Sirius treated him shitty thats why he betrayed. Some even say he was just a tag along. Please share your thoughts.

Peter Pettigrew

My very controversial opinion on Peter is that I love him (as a character).

To me, Peter is one of those characters who represent how Rowling's clear lack of self-awareness as a person translates in her work into her being unable to recognize her strengths as a writer. The majority of the most interesting things she comes up with are not the ones she focuses on.

And that's the case for Peter Pettigrew, who might be the Marauder with the most interesting story.

It's way too easy to reduce him to a coward as the author seems to want you to believe. And even claiming he didn't love his friends is a flattening of his character.

You can have a tendency to be influenced by peer pressure all you want but you don't become an unregistered animagus to help someone if you don't love the friend you are doing that for and you don't have a bit of courage (especially considering how long the whole thing was and that he wasn't particularly talented). He risked extremely severe consequences on his body due to the possibility of the process going wrong and he risked Azkaban for being unregistered.

That's fundamentally the opposite behavior of the one he later has with the Potters.

I also think it's important to point out how Remus is not a close relative (father, son, brother) and how the help Peter provides is not essential to Remus' survival, it's emotional comfort. The lack of necessity of the animagus matter and the easily cancellable bond with Remus increase the braveness and love of Peter's act (in contrast for example with something like what Narcissa does with her son by lying to Voldemort).

I think Peter's story is the one of someone who lost his courage, not the one of a person who never had it.

Doesn't this also make it so much more delicious how his downfall is caused by the return of a glimpse of honor?

I do agree with the fact that in SWM, James and Sirius don't treat him particularly well, especially Sirius, but I don't think they are that aware of it, especially James. They are a bit crude, and they are arrogant. They are two bright posh 16yo guys in a boarding school in the 70s. I don't expect from them a particularly high level of sensitivity in how they talk to people, especially to someone they take for granted knows to be their friend. Sirius is probably more aware of it, but I believe James to be quite unaware of himself at this point in the timeline. This is before his maturation really kicks in, his whole interaction with Lily shows a lack of self-awareness in how he talks to people (we know Lily turns him into a bit of an idiot, the problem is that he doesn't seem to be aware of it). Sirius on the other hand seems a lot more self-aware than James. A lot of people are not going to like what I'm about to say but: James is canonically a better person than Sirius.

And yet, it is abundantly clear that both James and Sirius love Peter.

James gives into Peter's hands his own life and the ones of his wife and son. Sirius gives in Peter's hands the lives of the family he chose.

In the Shrieking Shack, under all the pain Sirius has for the death of James and Lily, it is evident that there's also the pain that comes from the betrayal of a friend.

"THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED!" roared Black. "DIED RATHER THAN BETRAY YOUR FRIENDS, AS WE WOULD HAVE DONE FOR YOU!" - Chapter 19, Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban

Lily herself is very attached to Peter, in her letter to Sirius, she calls him Wormy (how cute is that?). And, let's remember that she too puts her life and the ones of her husband and son in Peter's hands.

It's too easy to say Peter was just a tagalong, that they didn't love him. It incredibly diminishes the pain of his act.

I also would like to point out that Peter isn't stupid. He was a double agent, he managed to frame Sirius by using in his favor people’s low opinion of his skills (and Remus and Sirius' rocky relationship). James, Sirius, and Remus might have thought of themselves as smarter than Peter but I don't think they actually believed him to be stupid. Considering who the Marauders are, their knowing how good of a liar, and how cunning Peter could be, would be a perfect explanation of why they became friends in the first place.

Does this mean they all loved Peter but Peter only loved Remus out of his friends?

We can't really be sure of his feelings for Sirius, but the admiration he shows for James and the sense of guilt we know he has for his double agent activities don't really align with that image.

I think Peter's fear for his own life ended up winning over the love for his friends.

But why at this point? Why not at Hogwarts?

Something quite interesting is how Peter's father is the only parent of the Marauders who is never mentioned, not in the books, not in any additional material. Doesn't that align just so well with Peter always putting himself at the service of the most important male figure around? First James, and then after school, with the war going on, Voldemort.

Isn't it such a fitting image, Peter growing up without a father, with a too-cuddling mother whom he ends up resenting, faulting her for the absence of the father? It's so natural to paint him as a young man crushed by a sense of inadequacy towards an image of masculinity he idealizes but can't fulfill, supported by a society filled with a very toxic sense of masculinity and an absent father he can sew on any fantasy he wants.

When Peter was at Hogwarts, being friends with James, and being part of the Marauders, gave Peter a sense of security that allowed him to be brave enough to prioritize his love for his friends over himself.

Out in the real world, though, Voldemort is the dominant man and being positioned against the Dark Lord takes away the sense of security he had as a student. Both times Peter goes to Voldemort, he does it because he doesn't feel safe.

It's also abundantly clear how Peter's siding with Voldemort doesn't come from ideology. He becomes an animagus for Remus, he's a dear friend of Lily.

Peter dies because Voldemort doesn't trust him, and he is right in not trusting him. Somewhere in Peter, there's still the boy who risked his life for a friend.

Try to tell me this is not an interesting character.

He's still a coward overall, but a complex one.

Also, Peter Pettigrew is a clear victim of pretty privilege when it comes to the fandom. I'm ready to bet whatever you want that if he had been described as handsome the most popular ship with Sirius would be Sirus/Peter.

Actually, he didn't even have to be described as handsome, he just needed to not be described as ugly. Draco is described as having a pointy face and people have been lying to themselves claiming he's incredibly handsome for the last twenty-five years.

The way the Ursula K. Le Guin quote where she talks about the first Harry Potter book is used is a bit disingenuous because she is talking about the literary quality of the book and like that's not what the "Rowling really fucking hates and slanders trannies"-discourse is about. People are acting like she called Rowling herself "ethically mean-spirited" when she did not and it actually doesn't matter whether the books are in fact actually evil or just trash or widely acknowledged masterpieces because it doesn't change anything about what Rowling does. But apart from that it annoys me because the people sharing that quote don't care about the quality of the books, they only care to reframe the books as a symptom of the author's decrepit morals which is fair insofar as a lot of an authors social and ideological hangups shine through in their writing (some authors are even said to try to mediate, reflect and transform their hangups through writing, the monsters) but it's also unfair in that it completely ignores what Le Guin was actually saying and in that it is actually worthwhile to try to process HP as a book series and a phenomenon. Because Le Guin is right. I used to really like Harry Potter - when I was a kid - and now I can't fucking hear about it anymore, but it really is "good fare for it's age group, but stylistically ordinary, imaginary derivative, and ethically rather mean-spirited". Le Guin is talking only about the first book here, where the age-group is 11 year olds, and what she is saying is it's an okay children's book, nothing special, pretty judgy. Harsh for a die-hard fan to hear maybe, but hardly the revolutionary takedown people make it out to be. But I think it holds true for the book series as a whole. Like I said, I think it's disingenuous to portray the books as uniquely evil when what they really are is exactly what people expect and want from YA books: lots of characters they can relate to, a seemingly big world they can imagine living in and a nice, inoffensive, boring sentiment like "love is the strongest magic" or whatever. If you were to read the books to find out about the authors political and social opinions, you would expect her to become famous for being very racist and classist, with the role the centaurs, house elfs and gnomes play in the story. Trans-what? Anyway, none of that really stands out in a late 90s, early 00s kids / YA books. And it has all those things the YA audience (which of course includes much more people than just those in their late late teens) desperately craves, even if it is nothing special ("imaginary derivative" would be a baffling criticism to levy against a YA book btw but it does make sense in context where Le Guin talks specifically about how much it annoys her that apparently none of the reviewers at the time have ever read another kids fantasy book). And here my well trained distrust comes into play. Because I have seen so many tweets and hour length youtube videos about this (okay only like two videos but still) that I don't think it's about Rowling spreading hate speech anymore. But it's also not cancel culture, because people are already trying to cancel Rowling, and they should continue to do so, but what you aren't explaining when you're talking about how uniquely awful the Harry Potter books are, is why and how Rowlings statements may classify as hate speech. Let me be the asshole here and say that

Ok I’m gonna be honest as much as I love starkid I’ve always felt like its kinda. . . idk deceitful? Misleading? To advertise the shows on how much lgbt rep they have. I mean, the majority of shows certainly do include LGBT characters, & I enjoy them & aren’t personally offended by them, but I really wouldn’t consider any of the shows pre-firebringer to have actually good rep/rep that doesn’t play into harmful stereotypes (& even firebringer has been criticized for having chorn fall into negative nb stereotypes). It just feels kinda wrong to me to tell someone to watch their early shows for the gay/bi representation.

It also feels extra insidious to me to see people recommending to potter musicals to “people who’ve been hurt by jkr’s actions” (aka: trans women) when avps literally has even more blatant & aggressive transmisogyny than anything in the original books/films with imagery thats literally been coopted by terfs, it feels super disgusting to recommend this stuff to trans women in pain in order to promote your favorite theater troupe.

the darkest hour pt 2

i'm back with my bs. this is for my bestie @lady-ofmagic-andstars. basically, all of my dumb thoughts while i watched 'darkest hour pt 2', 04.02 of merlin. in case you weren't aware.. ✨spoilers✨

right off the bat i'm sad

ok when i first watched this i was really confused. i mean, you see others when they interact with the dorocha have that perpetual frost on their face right? all of them, every single one. so imagine my surprise when merlin has no frost on his face, and he's miserable yea- but he's not dead??

like tbh, watching this again, ik why but when i first watched this, i was SO confused.

on fujoshi and fetishization

Lately, more and more, both here on tumblr and on other sites, I keep seeing people spew unfiltered hatred at fujoshi - that is, women who like mlm content such as gay fanfic and fanart featuring men with other men. And I don’t mean like a specific type of fujoshi, like the ones who are genuinely being weird about it, but just like a general hatred for girls (but especially straight identifying girls) who express love for gay romance.

I hate to break this to you all, but women (including straight women!) actually are allowed to like mlm fanfiction and fanart, even enthusiastically so. A woman simply expressing her love of gay fanfic, even if it is in kind of a cringey way or a way that you personally don’t like, is NOT automatically fetishization.

I’ve been on the receiving end of fetishization for my entire life, from a very young age, as many black and brown folx have, so I consider myself pretty well acquainted with how it works. Fetishization isn’t just like, being really into drawings of boys kissing, or whatever the fuck y’all are trying to imply on this god forsaken site.

Fetishization is complicated imo, and can encompass a lot of things, such as (but not limited to):

1 - dehumanization, e.g. viewing a group of people as sexual objects who exist purely for entertainment purposes, rather than acknowledging them as actual people who deserve respect and rights

and

2 - projecting certain assumptions onto said people based on their race/sexuality/whatever is being fetishized. These assumptions are often, but not always, sexual in nature (like the idea that black people in general are more sexual than other races, etc etc etc).

I’m going to use myself as an example to illustrate my point. Please note this isn’t the best or most nuanced example, but it is the most simplistic. A white person finding me attractive and respectfully appreciating my black features as part of what makes me beautiful is not, on its own, fetishization. A white person finding me attractive solely or mostly because I’m a PoC is now in fetishization territory. Similarly, assuming I’m dominant because of my blackness (like saying “step on me mommy” and shit like that) is hella fetishistic.

That being said, theres definitely a difference between how fetishization works in real life with real people, and how it shows up in fandom.

Fetishization manifests in many different ways in fandom, but most commonly on the mlm side of things, I personally see it appear as conservative (or centrist) women who love the idea of two men together, but don’t actually like gay people, and don’t necessarily think LGBT+ people deserve rights (or “special treatment” as its sometimes dog whistled). These women view queer men as sexual objects for entertainment rather than an actual group of people who deserve to be protected from systemic oppression. I’ve noticed that they often don’t even think of the men they “ship” together as actually being gay, and may even express disgust at the idea of a character in an mlm ship being headcanon’d gay. In case its not obvious, this is pretty much exactly the same way a lot of cishet men fetishize lesbians (they see “lesbian” as a porn category, rather than like, what actual LGBT people think of when we read the word lesbian). There’s a pretty popular viral tweet thread going around where someone explains seeing this trend of conservative women who like mlm stuff, and I have also personally witnessed this phenomenon myself in more than one fandom.

The funny thing is, maybe its just me buuuut.... The place I see this particular kind of fetishization happen most is not in the anime/BL fandom, from which the term fujoshi originates - I actually see these type of women way way more in western fandom spaces like Supernatural, Harry Potter, and Hannibal. I can’t stress this enough, there’s a shocking amount of people who are like, straight up trump supporters in these fandoms. If you want to experience it, try joining a Hannigram or Destiel group on facebook and you will probably encounter one eventually especially if you happen to be living through a major historical event. Like these women probably wouldn’t even be considered “fujoshi”, because that term doesn’t really apply to them given they aren’t in the BL/anime fandom, yet they’re the ones I personally see actually doing the most harm.

Of course this isn’t the ONLY kind of fetishizing woman in the mlm/BL world, there are other ways fetishization shows up, but this is the most toxic kind that I see.

A girl just being really into BL or whatever may be “cringe” to you, or she may be expressing her love for BL in a “cringey” way, but a straight woman really enjoying BL is not, on its own, somehow inherently fetishization. Yes, sometimes teenage girls act kind of cringe about how much they like BL and that might be annoying to you, but its not necessarily ~problematic~.

That being said, IT NEEDS BE REMARKED that a lot of the “fujoshi” that you all hate so deeply, are actually closeted trans men or nonbinary people who haven’t yet come to terms with their gender identity, or are otherwise just NOT cishet. I know because I was one of these closeted people for years, and I honestly think tumblr and the cultural obsession around purity is one of the many reasons I was closeted so deeply for so long. STORYTIME LOL!!! In my early adolescence, I was a sort of proto “fujoshi”. I identified as a bi girl who was mostly attracted to men, or as most (biphobic) people called it, “practically straight”. I wrote and read “slash” fanfic and looked at as well as drew my own fanart. We didn’t use the term fujoshi back then, but that’s definitely how I could have been described. I was obsessed with yaoi, BL, whatever you want to call it, to a cringe-inducing degree. I really struggled to relate to most het romances, so when I first discovered yaoi fanfics (as we called them at the time), I fell in love and felt like I finally found the type of romance content that was made for me. I didn’t know exactly why, I just knew it hit different. LGBT+ fanart and fanfiction brought me an immense amount of joy, and I didn’t really think too hard about why.

At some point, in my early 20s, after reading lots of discourse™ here on tumblr and other places like twitter, I started to get the sinking feeling that my passion for gay fanfiction was ~problematic~. I had always felt a sense of guilt for being into mlm content, because literally anyone who found out I liked BL (especially the men I dated) shamed me for liking it all the fucking time (which btw is literally just homophobic, like can we talk about that?). In addition to THAT bullshit, now I’m seeing posts telling me that girls who like BL are cringey gross fetishists who inspire rage and should go die?

Let me tell you, I internalized the fuck out of messages like this. I desperately wanted to avoid being ~problematic~. At the time, I thought being problematic was like the worst thing you could be. I was terrified of being “cancelled”, before canceling was even really a thing. I thought to myself, “oh my god, I’m gross for liking this stuff? I should stop.” I beat myself up over this. I wanted so badly to be accepted, and to be deemed a Good Person by the internet and society at large.

I tried to shape up and become a good ally (lmfao). I stopped writing fanfic and deleted all the ones I was working on at the time. I made a concerted effort to assimilate into cishet culture, including trying to indulge myself more deeply in the few fandoms I could find that had het content I did enjoy (Buffy, True Blood, Pretty Little Liars, etc). I would occasionally look at BL/fanfic/etc in private, but then I would repress my interest in it and not look for a while. Instead I would look at women in straight relationships, and create extremely heterosexual Couple Goals pinterest boards, and try to figure out how I could become more like these women, so I, too, could be loved someday.

This cycle of repression lasted like eight years. Throughout it all, I was performing womanhood to the best of my ability and trying to become a woman that was worthy of being in a relationship. I went in and out of several “straight” relationships, wondering why they didn’t make me feel the way reading fanfic did. Most of all, I couldn’t figure out why straight intimacy didn’t work for me. I just didn’t enjoy it. I always preferred looking at or making gay fanfiction/fanart over actual intimacy with men in real life.

Eventually, I stumbled upon a trans coming out video that someone I was following posted online, my egg started to crack, and to make an extremely long story short, after like 3 years of introspection and many gender panic attacks that I still experience to this day, I realized that I’m uh... MAYBE... NOT CIS..!? :|

I truly believe if I had just been ALLOWED TO LIKE GAY STUFF WITHOUT BEING SHAMED FOR IT, I probably would have realized I was trans way way sooner. Because for me, indulging in my love of gay romance and writing gay fanfic wasn’t me being a weirdo fetishist, it was actually me exploring my own gender identity. It is what helped me come to terms with being a nonbinary trans boy.

Not everyone realizes they are trans at age 2 or whatever the fuck. Sometimes you have to go through a cringey fujoshi phase and multiple existential crises to realize how fucking gay you are AND THATS FINE.

And one more thing - can we just be real here?

A lot of anti-fujoshi sentiment is literally just misogyny. omg please realize this. Its “women aren’t allowed to enjoy things” but, like... with gay fanfics. Some of the anti-fujoshi posts I see come across my dash are clearly ppl projecting a caricature they invented in their head of a demonic fujoshi fetishist onto any woman who expresses what they consider to be a little too much enthusiasm for gay content and then using their perception of that individual as an excuse to justify their disdain for any women, especially straight women, ‘invading’ their ~oh so exclusive~ queer fandom spaces.

Do you know how in Harry Potter we know exactly what he is thinking/feeling at all times and his point of view is the one we filter the world through? I wanted to ask if, by any chance, you have 1st person narrative book recommendation of an ENFP 9 and other for INFP 9 person please. The idea came due to the fact that reading Harry’s thoughts helped me with Fi.

I’m afraid I don’t have one offhand; I tend not to think about typing characters when I am just reading and enjoying a novel, but I’m so familiar with HP and have read it so many times that I’m reading it now as much to type characters as for fun, so... I’m paying attention to that as much as the narrative. I can fulfill your following request, however (please don’t use this as a ‘which character am I more like?’ method to self-type, btw -- you need to look at Ne-dom vs. Fi-dom separately and self-analyze to determine your type).

Since that is A LOT to ask, how about a comparison between a ENFP 9 and a INFP 9? Appreciate it.

Claire from Elizabethtown is an ENFP 9 and she just... as an extrovert, takes a real interest in other people and inserts herself into their lives. She sees Drew sitting all alone at the back of the plane and tries to befriend him, then starts giving him advice, she picks up on his father’s death through their chat with each other and then takes him under her wing. All in all, Claire is a great person who... deserves better than she has, because she’s asleep to her own needs and wants. She embodies this when she tells Drew “I am fine with whatever you want to say. Or not say.” She’s even a little intimidated to invite him to be her boyfriend and stay with her, because... what if that isn’t what he wants? Even when she makes her move, she leaves the choice totally up to him, in a very Ne-dom casual “whatever happens, happens...” way. You can join me or not, it’s fine. She chats with him all night on the phone and cancels a trip to Hawaii to be with him. Then she inserts herself, in his absence, into a group at the hotel, and they are all crazy about her, because she’s so great. Extroverted behavior -- she went out and made friends while waiting around for Drew to get back. But she over-tolerates people’s bad behavior, and is in a relationship where she waits around for a guy to show up, but never does anything about it when he doesn’t prioritize her enough to keep his appointments.

Fanny Price of the older Mansfield Park is an INFP 9 and... there is a marked difference. She gets overwhelmed by people and runs upstairs to her desk, to read over her plays and things that she is writing and look out the window. She chooses to be alone quite a lot of the time. Her Fi-dom comes out, despite her 9ish desire to be appropriate and avoid conflict; she has strong opinions and is not afraid to express them with people she loves and trusts (Edmund). She can be stubborn and withdrawn, refusing to do things she doesn’t want to do (Fi-dom/Te inferior and 9ish passive resistance) -- including not marrying a man who she knows is ‘wrong’ for her. Fanny filters everything through herself, and how she feels about it, despite being a 9. She self-references, she goes by what she feels and believes is right, and she does not seek external approval as much. She prefers smaller groups and more intimate friends and is more discriminating in who she spends time with, as a Fi-dom (Claire casts a wider net and has a more amiable disposition overall; Fanny is nice, but not particularly outgoing).

I have personal experience with an NFP 9 of both types. The ENFP 9 is more directly pursuing of people, due to a desire to connect and for her, especially in her fiction, it is all about ideas and turning things on their head. The INFP 9 is also a writer, but I’ve noticed her book is highly ‘personal’ -- about a lot of her own feelings, inner experiences, and actual world experiences. She is extroverted when she is at home -- funny and outgoing, but like most introverts (much to the consternation of us extroverts :P) -- she can disappear for weeks at a time without saying a word, because she’s lost in her own little world and not particularly interested in seeking widely beyond it. Whereas the ENFP bugs me and others for attention far more often and comes up with some crazy ideas.

This is, possibly, the hardest thing I've ever done in fandom... and I'm including finishing an entire ship week on time (wait...I haven't actually successfully done that...sh!).

Alright! Here we go! In no particular order...

Rodney McKay // Stargate Atlantis

Sassy genius who is both pessimestic AND has self-esteem issues hidden by loads of arrogance? Literally, me, but better at it.

Also, that gif of him totally sums up how I handled making this list.

Jason Todd // DCU

He's my favorite Robin, who is (in any incarnation) my favorite superhero. Plus, he's got sass, sarcasm, a temper, and a tragic backstory that beats other tragic backstories up with a crow bar. He is The Best antihero to ever grace a comic book.

Coco Adel // RWBY

I'm not convinced there's a single character in RWBY that isn't awesome (good, bad, they're all interesting!), but Coco is just... *sighs dreamily* Goals. I mean, the heels, the clothes, the gatling gun?! *fans self* I want to BE her!

Quark // Star Trek

If ya haven't caught on yet, I love a sarcastic character (Chief O'Brien was a close second btw). The whole concept of a reluctant hero with questionable morals appeals to me and every d&d character I have ever played though and Quark is just plain amusing in every scene. Chaotic Neutrals get shit done!

Also, I would like to note that picking JUST ONE character from Star Trek physically pained me! I want points for not picking one per series

Ron Weasley // Harry Potter

I'm legally bound by the fact that I'm a millennial to include Harry Potter on this list. Ron happens to be my favorite of the Golden Trio (though not always my favorite Weasley...). I absolutely love his sass, his loyalty, his intellect - I was always more a Hermione, being a book worm and all. Ron is emotionally intelligent in a way I always wanted to be and I think he's a great example of a person not letting their weakest moments define them.

The movies can go burn in dragon dung, because Ron was epic and they did him wrong. Rupert Grint, however, is adorable and also deserved better.

Pippin (Peregrin Took) // Lord of the Rings

I can't even begin to explain why I love Pippin the most of the whole fellowship, but it basically comes down to he was the one I could most easily relate to. He was the youngest, the most naive, but his heart and his intuition always saw him through. He was also hilarious.

And if you're shocked I didn't pick Merry, who was the most amazingly sarcastic and grumpy hobbit ever, you may join the club. Even I'm a little surprised.

Wolfram von Bielefelt // Kyou Kara Maou

Sarcastic. Grumpy. Tempermental. Secrectly a big softie. Wears a comfy pink nightgown. Wolfram is literally the perfect man.

This was my favorite anime as a teen btw and if you haven't watched it you should.

Yuri Plisetsky // Yuri on Ice

Angry blonds are apparently my type? *shrug* Yuri also has those tragic backstory vibes that make him a super interesting character to try to analyze. I need to write some YoI fanfic ASAP.

Melanie Segal // Bunheads

Sarcasm. Wit. Accidental anger issues? Yes, please! Honestly, of all the storylines I hated to see unexplored when this show was cancelled, Melanie's was the one I was most bitter about. There was just so much to explore!

I have like five WIPs in my fanfic folder surrounding her, honestly, no exaggeration.

Lady Morgana // Merlin

Early seasons' kind-hearted, rebellious Morgana? Good. Mid-seasons' plotting and smirking Morgana? Also good. End of series half-crazed psycho witch Morgana? Good!

There is no bad Morgana character! All of them are golden, all of them fun to write. And good lord do I need to update my Morgana fic...

I do not go to school or have a job (Been trying to look for one, but with the virus going on I can’t look for one because I wouldn’t be able to work anyway since I’m a high risk target)

My birthday dinner with my boyfriend and then one with my dad’s side of the family that would happen like a week after my birthday (My birthday is tomorrow, Monday April 13th) Concerts, dates with my boyfriend, moving

My boyfriend and I have been have discord dates everyday and so far we’ve watched Onward (SO GOOD BY THE WAY!!) and the first four Harry Potter movies (We’re gonna finish all of them and I’m so excited for when we get to half-blood prince! That’s my favorite one ^-^)

What shows are you watching?

I’ve watched the new Nailed It season on Netflix, My boyfriend and I have been watching the new season of The Masked Singer, I started watching the newest season of Sex Education (Love that show btw), I’ve started re-watching Burn Notice (That’s a cool show, you should check it out if you haven’t seen it. It’s on Hulu) And I’m going to watch the rest of the second season of You (I started it like two months ago but never finished.)

Literally everything, Pop, Rock, Screamo, Disney, Musicals, Country, you name it I’ve probably listened to it!

What are you reading?

I don’t have many books, but I’ve been thinking about reading Dante’s Inferno again or my Shakespeare complete collection book again, or actually finishing Me After You (The squeal to Me Before You which I LOVE). I stopped reading Me After You (SPOILER!! Will turns out to have a daughter!? Like sorry where the hell were you the WHOLE first book!? I was so annoyed at how stupid it was a just stopped lol)

What are you doing for self-care?

Oh boy, I’ve been playing a LOT of video games with friends, watching youtube, writing, playing sims 3, playing a LOT of Animal Crossing (SW-69-82-2703-69-88 ADD ME IF YOU WANNA PLAY! ^-^) Just doing anything to keep my dark thoughts away, this quarantine had been really really hard on me since I’m totally alone and if I do get the virus I will probably die because I have really bad asthma. So I have not been leaving the house unless I need to get food, my dad just gave me gloves and he’s gonna give me some masks in case I need to go out. But self-care is very hard for me right now, so everyone take care of themselves, please!

Series Description: You are an ordinary girl, living an ordinary life with a boyfriend who is in a coma. And he is a successful producer looking for a promotion when he was relocated in Batanes (where you live). His plans are a) make a show b) make it a hit c) get the promotion and d) go back to London. But things don’t go as expected, right?

A/N: So here’s chapter one for you guys out there! Have fun reading and don’t forget to share your thoughts! Oh, btw there’ll be some Tagalog words thrown in there, their meanings will be put down below.

Disclaimer: I do not own the plot nor Tom Holland. The plot along with some lines belongs to Everyday, I love you’s crew and it’s production. Tom Holland is also just a face and a name claim, I do not know him personally nor do I know his personality.

"Good morning, love!" You said to the camera as you stand up and walk to your drawers to pick something to wear for the day.

"It's day fifty-two, hope you are doing alright there," You said as you grabbed a hanger with the outfit you'll wear. It's a plain white shirt topped with a denim skirt overall.

"I gotta go and get ready for the day but I miss you! See you soon, love!" You wave goodbye to the camera giving it a flying kiss then you turn it off and sighed.

Missing Aidan is something you've never expect to feel. He is always there, even in childhood. You'd see him every day since you were young. It started as a foolish crush but it turned into something bigger- something wonderful that only something 13-year-old you dreamt of. Memories with him, doing stuff with him it was always great even eating your favorite dish.

You shook your head trying to avoid the nagging feeling of a black hole forming inside your heart. "Y/N, that's enough," you scold yourself trying to rid yourself of the guilt that you have about his condition. It was because of you that he was lying there, on the hospital bed, unconscious but breathing. Even though others tell you not to blame yourself, you still did. And it's killing you to pretend that everything's alright when it's not.

You got out of the shower getting yourself ready to face the world, to be that happy-go-lucky girl that everyone in Batanes loves. You quickly got dressed in your outfit and as you are tying your white suede sneakers, you heard a knock on your door.

"Hey pumpkin, your lolas (grandmothers) are here. They are very much excited to see you," Your dad says through the door. "Come out whenever you are ready."

"Okay, dad," You said quickly tying your other shoe and abruptly standing up. You quickly grabbed your sling bag and put the video camera inside along with other necessities you'll need for the day. You opened the door and was quickly greeted by the smell of adobo, one of your favorite Pinoy dish.

"Oh, Y/N, you've grown!" Your grandma Esther said as she squeezes your cheeks and kisses both of them.

"Ma, you've seen me five days ago," You said, hugging her as your grandma Julie waddles over you. You let go of Grandma Esther as Grandma Julie approaches you.

"Ah! It's been so long!" Grandma Julie said, smiling so wide and pulling you into a hand.

"Oh, stop it, Y/N's suffocating," Your father said carrying their bags to their rooms. Grandma Esther and Grandma Julie are known as 'The Sisters of Basco'. They are well-known for the restaurant they started years ago that became a hit around the area. Grandma Esther is your direct grandmother, she is the mother of your late mother. While Grandma Julie is like this cool aunt that everyone likes.

"Oh, I'm starving!" Grandma Esther said taking a seat at the dining table, Grandma Julie follows suit. You and father followed after them, taking a seat at your respective places.

"Mother Dearests, how was your Japan vacation?" You ask them, prolonging the 's' sound in dearests as you grab your rice and the adobo and started eating as soon as the prayers are done.

"Oh! It was fantastic!" Grandma Julie said, mouth full of food.

"Oh, Jules, please shut your mouth. I don't want to see another flying rice around here," Grandma Esther said, shutting her up as the food kept flying in bits and pieces out of her mouth as she talks. Grandma Jules shut up quickly and finish chewing her food.

"Anyways," Grandma Jules continued, shooting a glare at Grandma Esther's side. "We got you something." She stood up and went to their room and later came back with a plastic bag.

"Here," She handed you the plastic bag. You took a peek inside and gasp.

"Oh My! Thank you so so much, lolas!" You gushed over the comfy hoodies they got you along with some sweets and a Harry Potter wand.

"No problem, apo (granddaughter)," Grandma Esther said, smiling in your direction and continued eating. "How is Aidan?"

"He's fine," You answered her, "There's still no improvements or any news. Zero, zilch, nada, as in zero."

"Awh, that's okay, Y/N," Granda Jules said giving you a comforting smile. "Sometimes no news is good news." You gave them comforting smiles, too. Letting them know that you're alright, and you're healing from the guilt. You know you have to be there for Aidan, so you put a pin on the guilt that you are feeling and let it stay that way, for now.

"It's not your fault, you know?" Your Grandma Esther added. "It's that bastard who stabbed him."

"Mama," Your father warned your Grandma Esther when she said a bad word.

"Oh, sorry," Grandma Esther said, smiling sheepishly before letting out a laugh and continued eating.

"Thanks, Mama Esther," You said, smiling in their direction. You quickly jumped up and grabbed your sling bag. You saw that you have a tour in less than an hour, so you have to head to the airport right now to pick up the tourists.

"Anyways, I got to go. Duty calls." And with a kiss to your family, you are off riding your bicycle towards the travel agency that will give you the itinerary for today's tour. You are a local tour guide and it's your job to tour the tourists around Batanes.

"Bye, Y/N!" The tourists bid you farewell as you finished the tour and it's already their time to go home.

"Thank you so much for letting me tour all of you around Batanes. See you next time!" You told them, bidding them farewell as they climb into the van after a tiring but enjoying day of the trip.

"Oh!" You gasp in surprise as a child went to hug you.

"I'll miss you, Y/N," The child muttered as he held on tightly to you. He's around three to five years old and he bonded with you for the whole tour. In turn, you told him myths and legends about Batanes that filled the child's mind with wonder.

They soon leave and you went inside the office to take a seat in your desk. You took a breath for a few moments and started arranging your stuff.

"Leaving so soon?" Your boss and a friend of yours, Lia, asked.

"Yeah. Nurse Angie called, plus I wanted to see Aidan," You answered her question, giving her the sweetest smile you could muster. You even questioned yourself if you should do the "puppy dog eyes" thing. But the smile seemed to do the thing.

"Okay, okay. You can leave as long as you're done with your work," She said. "Send Mama Nida my regards." Mama Nida is Aidan's grandmother. His parents abandoned him when he was a child. They left him with her.

"Will do, Lia," You said standing up to hug her. She returned your hug and pat you in the back. "Thank you so much!"

You quickly leave towards the hospital, riding your bicycle. Once, you got to the hospital you quickly opened up your video camera and filmed yourself.

"Hi, Love!" You said, waving to the camera with the brightest smile on your face. That little boy who hugged you earlier made your day brighter than it already was.

"It's already 5 pm and I just finished touring the tourists around here. There was this little boy earlier that hugged me and he's just the sweetest," You said as you walk down the hallways and towards his room.

"Anyways, I'm here to see you now. Have a speedy recovery!" You said to the camera. "I love you. Get well soon!"

You sighed as you entered the room, but was greeted by the joy and love surrounding it. Your grandmas are with Mama Nida and they are all just being adorable together and talking about stuff. They are lifelong friends with Mama Nida, that's the reason why none of them left town even when they had the chance.

"Get ready to roll in 5 minutes!" Tom yelled all over the place. They are at the London Bridge, filming for an action movie he's producing. Just as he was making rounds and making sure that everything is alright, his phone rang.

"Luis! Where the fucking hell are you?" Tom answered the call, his voice stern and urgent. "The camera's rolling in 5 minutes!"

"This is the fifth and last time you're gonna be late," He said walking over to the booth, so he can what's happening on cam. "Get your ass over here or consider yourself fired."

"Get ready. I'm taking over." Tom ordered the crew, especially the lead.

"I thought Alfred still has five minutes?" The lead questioned while studying his lines as the makeup crew tries to cover his eye bags.

"He won't be here in five minutes. He's still in his house and it's two hours away from here," Tom explained to the lead getting ready himself, too.

"Nina!" Tom greeted his boss, kissing her on the cheek. Nina is like a second mother to him, his grandmother the first. She always looks out for him and cares for him like he's her own son.

"How are you? You look like you're in a good mood," Nina mused. Tom chuckled and yelled for a cameraman to focus as his video is being shaky.

"Anyways, what are you doing here? The ratings of my show are high?" Tom asked, confused. Nina only came to shootings when the show's ratings are low to observe whether or not they should cancel it.

"Exactly. I'm here to observe," Nina answered, leaning back in her chair and crossing her legs. Tom nodded and she continued, "SDF is leaving. We'll be needing a new production manager, ASAP."

"I'm the new PM?" Tom asked, arrogantly. Smirking with overflowing confidence assuming that he's the new production manager that will manage seven shows at a time. Nina just chuckled and looked towards the shooting, Tom just scoffed clearly in disbelief.

"We'll see," Nina said, teasingly.

Three days later, in the management's office, Tom is sitting confidently in his chair. Almost like he knows that he is the one who is promoted. Impatient, Tom started playing on his phone until Nina came in to announce who got promoted.

"SDF retired and we've been thinking of who to replace him. We're very proud and happy to announce that management is promoting Jessa Griffins!" Jessa stood up and immediately thanked Nina while other nominees surrounded Jessa and congratulated her. But, Tom immediately went to Nina.

"Why her?" Tom asked following her as she walked towards her office.

"Because she's hired earlier than you and she's older than you."

"So, you're saying that age is the basis of promotion?" Tom asked in disbelief over the announcement of the promotion.

"And you're saying that you're better than her?" Nina challenged him.

"Yes! My shows are better than hers," Tom boasted, clearly thinking that he's the one who deserves the promotion.

"Look," Nina sighed turning to face him. "You are great in technical and creative works, but she's better at handling people."

Tom just chuckled and rolled his eyes, crossing his arms and raised his eyebrows signaling Nina to continue.

"Did you know that Luis was never late for her? In fact, when you fired him, Jessa immediately hired him and they made a great episode."

"So, you're saying I should tolerate incompetence?" Tom asked, aggravated.

"Relax," Nina said. "Why do I get the feeling that you're always in a rush. You're still young. You still have lots to do. In your haste, lots of people got hurt. Why does it always seem like you're in a competition? Life is not about competition, rather it's about simply living it and enjoying every second of it. "

"That's why," Nina continued. "I'm reassigning you to the Philippines. Batanes, specifically. They need a good quality show for the younger market."

"WHAT" Tom exclaimed in surprise. "Is this some kind of punishment? You know I do high adventure, high adrenaline shows. What would I do in a province, anyway?"

"Look, if you pull this off, I'll promote you as a production manager," Nina sighed and rubbed her forehead, a headache clearly forming. "Take this as a challenge. It may actually be the best thing to ever happen to you."

Later on, Tom is back at home cleaning the dishes when his grandmother, Laura said something about the promotion.

"Nina called me earlier, said that you didn't get the promotion. I'm sorry but she's right. You need to take this slow," His grandmother said.

"I know, Lavi. It's just, I don't really know," Tom sighed, finally letting out his feelings.

"You know what you need? A girlfriend." His grandmother pointed out.

"I don't need a girlfriend, I have my Lavi right here," Tom said, kissing his grandmother on the cheek.

"You seriously need to get a life," She said, making some coffee. "And maybe that Batanes thing is good for you."

So, I was searching for characters that are my same MBTI type and I thought that it will be funny if I posted it.

PD: This is just an intensive search that I made in google, so don't freak out if you think that the character is another MBTI type, it's open to interpretation lol. And the gifs aren't mine.

1. Harry Potter: Voldemort, Draco Malfoy.

Well, okay, so if you are INTJ, you should know that our collection of villains or antagonists is awesome.

2. Daredevil: Matt Murdock.

So, I'm my favorite malebhero of Marvel and fav character in Daredevil, what id awesome, bc I LOVE HIM AND WHY NETFLIX CANCELLED THE SHOW.

3. Star Wars: Palpatine.

Are you serious.

4. Detective Conan: Ai Haibara, Shuuichi Akai and Gin.

I was so happy until I read Gin bc I love so much Ai and Shuuichi. But GIN? really? btw I can understand, I guess.

5. Game of Thrones: Petyr Baelish.

So this search basically showed that I share MBTI with my most hated or loved characters.

6. Angel Beats: Naoi Ayato.

Another almost antagonist and fav character. Honestly, I don't know what to think at this point.

7. Devilman crybaby.

Yeah, the quote is accurate with me bc I'm a fucking disaster.

So I always post a recap, mostly for myself 🙂 (for later^^), but I hope you will enjoy as well! (Got a kiss from Will there and Hannibal didn’t kill me! – Win win!!) 🙂

I arrived on Wednesday afternoon this time, planning on working on Ravage stuff that evening with Romina, but we ended up with Electra and room service instead, which was awesome. (Thank you soooo much for the little firefly man dear!!!)

Thursday was Ravage ToDos then and London – going by Fuller’s on the way

getting my daughter a Harry Potter „Hedwig“ (as requested^^)

and dinner at the Michelin-star „Aquavit“ (Skandinavian Restaurant – the Blood Pudding was DELICIOUS!)

and then Pinter’s Theatre, watching Martin Freeman’s performance.

(We tried to catch him at the Stage Door, but he came out after 2h(?) and we left after 1h in the snow, because you know, Mads and Richard wouldn’t go so well with pneumonia^^).

Friday I spent a LOT of time trying to catch all the Fannibals I saw, say hi and invite them to sign „my Mads“ – bought back then for the German Comic Con 2016 (when he canceled) this has now been utterly filled up with Fannibal love from all over the place! (And Evalie brought her Will! It’s the same one from the meme photo you might have seen btw^^)

(And I had him sign it, too :))) Picked up lots of beautiful things from the con, but they’re mostly in the big package still and on their way home.

Opening ceremony had standing ovations, driving home the fact, that these people were actually there!

Truly amazing.

Meet and greet was fun but short, they only did a few minutes each.

Still enough time to realize a few interesting things about them, Scott being really aware of what we put on the table for example and interested in Radiance (looking through it ) and trying the Hannigram smarties that @TheCakeIsPeople brought, Aaron loving that people liked the Go-Getters and his other projects so much, Jeremy very unsure at that point still (Twitter feed later showed he always said the same things^^) but very deep and elaborate answers already, Richard interested in where everybody was from and commenting when he knew the place, Mads on beer 4 (afaik) at our table and a bit brisk, recognizing fans he met before, talking swedish with the Fannibals there and refusing to put on the bite mask we had laid out (as decoration) on sight^^^^. Darn. 😛

On Saturday I had 5 (!) photo ops, group with Romina, Aaron & Scott, 2 Mads and a Mads and Richard one. I took the cardboard to the photo op with Mads and we had to redo the photo 4 times, because of the glare :))) (Starfury put them all up for digital download, wohooo) and he was amazed by all the signatures on it!! Also – really life size 😛

The other was with something for the Kickstarter, I can’t show you yet^^.

Richard didn’t really pose that day, he was very stiff, hands in his pockets, standing to the side – we wondered if he maybe had a bad con experience before. (That was different day 2, yeah, good job Fannibals!!). Unfortunately you cannot see the “I’m fine” on my shirt, that’s what I was pointing at^^

Panels from noon, with Aaron and Scott being their usual hilarious selfs, Mads kind and witty (even though some of the questions were really… ugh. Disgraceful – someone asked him if he got „excited“ in the sex scenes for Polar(!) and someone else told him he didn’t have a fashion sense (like what the actual fuck?)).

Richard had an introduction interview with Sean on the first day, with only a few audience questions. Again, I think he was a bit … IDK, careful. On Sunday he did an open panel and was way more relaxed there as well! And he is SO WITTY and intelligent! And much more good looking in person than on screen somehow. Like really. A bit scary. :))

Mads is very nice, smelling lightly of cigarettes (well, duh^^), it was funny to watch/experience the poses he switches through for photos^^. Very easy to ask and stand next to. My hands were shaking nonetheless^^.

Aaron and Scott gave me one of the best hugs ever, I already had my pose with them from last time and told them so, just wanting a hug 🙂

Signing was fun, Mads and Richard, with Mads signing my three books (not showing you Ravage yet!), and I showed him the scene with the illustration of „Will pushing Hannibal in a wheelchair, at Bedelia’s dinner“ – because he had said in his panel that Will would have really enjoyed having the upper hand in S4, pushing Hannibal around in a wheelchair(!!). AND I FUCKING WROTE THAT. (Not actually in „A blackish red hue“ (at least the Ao3 version! (The book version has that scene)) but the image has created for a scene EXACTLY of that (and then adapted into the book, with permission of the artist(!)). I just…. I WANT TO SEE THAT, DAMMIT!! He said „Very good call“ :))) And then personalized it to me <33

Also, at that point he knew about the cardboard cutout being from the GCC, so they must’ve talked about it backstage! And I asked him to sign it all over his own face which he did, grinning.

And he’s finally on the LA Times ad, completing it.

AND on the sword sheath, checking all the signatures and commenting on them. He wanted to know where it was from and I explained and he was amazed. (Since he and Richard signed so small (in comparison to Eddie Izzard^^), I was able to put Scott, Aaron and Jeremy on it as well – you can’t see Scott here because he didn’t press that hard, his signature is above Aaron’s).

Oh, and Mads didn’t know that Hannibal got an Emmy nom that year we put up the ad in the LA Times – he was surprised and asked me which ones and of COURSE I’d had forgotten. Hope his team relays him the info via the tag on Twitter^^.

Richard just grinned a bit when I told him that the book is my S4-8 and that it starts at the Motel. He had an interesting expression on his face, I can’t really describe it, maybe a „would’ve sported dimples if he actually had them“, you know. Amusement-tinged. Also very interested in the signatures on the sword sheath!

Life goals. :)))

I had dinner in the bar late afternoon (the London Pride ale is very good imho^^), and then the cosplay contest was on and Noah won, yay, as flaming Chilton!!! They put up the incredible Wendigo-Cake there, from KitchenConjurer – it was cut up the next day, because Mads wasn’t at the cosplay contest.

Don’t remember what I did after the cosplay, lol. Ahem. 🙂 I think I went to my room because I was exhausted. ^^ All the nerves shot from the photo shoots and signings^^.

Next morning were more photos – another with Richard (and a little red dragon by PersephoneSiren!!!!!), who was so much more relaxed that day, and one with Jeremy – who was a bit bewildered by my ask to give me Bunny Ears – and THEN went and did the same expression Hugh Dancy and Joe Anderson did!!!!!! ROFL. Amazing!

Incredible panels followed – I would invite everyone who hasn’t to read through the Twitter transcript tweets – Aaron and Scott gave Mads a run for his money – aka he never stood a chance :))))

And then they went and cut the ear and nose/chin off the Wendigo cake and Scott kissed Aaron with its lips and you should have seen Mads’ face :))))) Hilarious! ❤

Jeremy is a panel revelation(!), I would pay REAL money to have him, Richard and Hugh on one stage, talking. These three must be so extraordinary together. (They already are separately, just saying… that would be like an intellectual orgasm).

Had to queue early and so I went and got my autos from Aaron and Scott and Jeremy then, who were soooo sweet and appreciative. And Aaron smiled when he saw the Go-Getters DVD, gave the DVD inside a little pet and signed it to me with a very sweet personalization.

Can’t wait for his new film btw, because the Go-Getters is hilarious and you should definitely watch it!!!!!

Another bar visit for food and ale and then the closing ceremony. Already.

It’s been almost 5 days and yet the time flew.

I cried.

And then I went to my room and packed up everything, creating an impromptu bubblewrap-suitcase. Went through fine, fortunately.

It’s been incredible and I will gladly come back no matter the guests (though these were incredible of course!), who knows maybe I can go to FFT3 if/when it happens as well, and I hope I manage some meat-ups. I met more people than I can remember, spent some very precious times in deep discussions on not so easy subjects, which I love and which is so, so, SO important.

If you’re reading this – thank you for doing so!

And if I met you there – thank you for making my weekend. Because the guests is one thing, but meeting you guys…. that is incredible.

1/5/19 Happy New Year

ok im gonna be honest... I dont remember the past 5 days other than i’m sick and can barely breath and i mad the mistake of going to the movies with some friends. i wanted to see mary poppins again so me and 4 friends were gonna go, well after we already planned that, one made me really uncomfortable when he was drunk messaging me and not accepting that i did not want a relationship with him. even going so far as to say he hates my ex simply cause he got me first. so im gonna call these friends A B C (as well as D and E to explain backstory) and explain who they are with a little key so i can give the story without being revealing of identities and what not.

Me - [fem] myself. I’ve know them for a little over 20 years and they tend to be a complete child and was treated as the child of friends back in high school and cared for as such. highly susceptible to emotional manipulation especially from people they trust

A - [fem] my best friend since 5th grade who i fondly refer to as my mama bear. my amazing protector of both physical and emotional battle grounds. the very person who’s house i ran to when i needed time away from my parents to figure things out before asking for therapy.

B - [male] twat i met my junior year who i started calling dad at some point and has since become completely unstable. very egotistical and leaves arguments if he isn’t winning constantly playing the victim card.

C - [male] guy who i was randomly introduced to through his younger brother adding him to a discord server i run as an attempt to shut down my ex for daring to call the unholy texts that are The Harry Potter Series “mediocre” (i also have his phone number randomly cause i used to know his twin) and has been friends with B for a while even going so far as to have a running joke of them being in a relationship even tho they are both straight.

D - [fem] B’s ex who i refer to as step mama and who tends to be fairly motherly towards me

E - [male] dude i was friends with in highschool and who was good friends with B

My Ex - [male] still on very good terms and he is very caring towards me. he tries to make sure im doing whats best for me and not letting anyone manipulate or harm me

ok that was bigger than i expected but im sick im not thinking straight so this gonna be a bit weird and long... ok heres the story:

so im all like “hey i wanna see Mary Poppins again!” and B and C are like yeah lets go! with B immediately stating how he had planned to see it with B before they broke up, already putting a slight damper on the thing but we got past it. a day or two after i end up with me and B agreeing (timestamp 9:30) to message on discord between 11-12 as well as set up a server for us and his little sis to play on. (the wait was for him watching doctor who with his family) so i shower and puzzle and finally with no word by 11:42 i message him asking for when he thinks he will be on to which i get the message “I don’t know I’m really drunk it’s gonna be a blast “... and now a transcript of what followed next copied word for word (well privacy edits) time stamps (and spelling errors) included:

creepy right? well this kept going with me getting more and more uncomfortable and refusing to accept that i dont want a relationship (a quote from B in reference to my ex: “ He might be your daddy, but I’m your daddy” tf? and yes he bolded) to the point that i was just sticking around so hed put a server up for the pack. then a bit before 2 o’clock i say that im gonna get off at 2 cause that when i had planned to, to which he (im not sure if intentionally) manipulated me into staying on till 3 o’clock because he would tell me about a personal thing i was curious about. finally 3 o’clock comes around, we call and i hear the story and once the server is up he tells me hes gonna go play league with some people (note random online people not irl people he supposedly likes) and will be back in 20 mins. i figure what the hay ill wait. 40 mins later he says hes not getting back on... obviously im furious. (screen shot of convo i sent to someone day of to explain without having to retype - im red)

next day comes and im uncomfortable and C ends up buying minecraft so he can play with me on the server, we get in call with a now sober B when he gets on and i confront him about the messages even sharing screens for proof (i learned its best not to 1v1 argue him cause im easy to manipulate) and he claims to not remember it but whenever C is away during the call he says things that sound slightly suggestive. at this point id like to note that i have a full recording of me scrolling through the messages as an unlisted video on my youtube channel and have sent it to people who with no prior suggestion have described it as “rapey” and warned me against him. my ex in particular warned me that i am very susceptible to an abusive relationship rn due to my mental state and that he seemed very unstable. at this i decided to invite A to go to mary poppins too since she would be a good protector of me should anything happen and to have a more familiar presence there.

now here is the juicy part. so D was talking to C where C was complaining how clingy B was becoming and how creepy he was being towards me so she quickly messages me on snap warning me that he is a ‘manipulative possessive jerk who will see me as nothing but an object to conquer and get mad when you are unhappy’ after hearing this i rembered B’s story about D cheating on him with E before D and E got together and started to wonder how true that was. me and D had a lovely conversation following that about my singular past relationship and her current one and blah blah blah.

MOVIE DAY: (C canceled the night before so now it is just me B and A going) we get picked up by A and all seems well with everyone being friendly and B seeming kinda cautious. i think hes regretting the convo so i decide to be nice. the movie was great and we decide to hang in the mall after (i made a build a bear). so while we were hanging at one point he scared me when after he provoked me into my light face wacks (cat play pretty much, wouldnt damage the most fragile ice) he grabs my hand to stop me and me thinking “oooo game fun!” i start to dig my nail into his hand to get let go of but instead of him reacting how i expected (letting go so i can escape) he looks at me with the scariest most serious face ive ever seen and (this part still scares me) says “you dont want to go down this path” he finally lets go and i go sit by the hot topic earing displays while A and B look at buttons then when B sits next to me while A waits to pay he basically called my claw abuse. (like what? you grab my hand hard enough that it hurt when i was doing the same playful banter weve done for years and apparently im the abuser cause i do my standard get away strategy of hurting the hand thats holding me? what did you expect me to do? just comply and calmly stand there with my hand held above y head in yours?) after we leave hottopic we are in the car and somehow we get to the topic of the drunk conversation.

so im talking and trying to explain how uncomfortable he made me( and how i was afraid to be alone around him and how i had been scared remembering that he not only knows where i live but where the spare key is!!!!) and i dare use the word “rapey” ... lets see if i can get a definition for yall but first ill say how i use that word - “rapey. an adjective to describe a situation in which one party becomes uncomfortable and afraid to the point that they feel if this continues they could be raped or otherwise hurt/abused in the future” - and now the second definition from urban dictionary: “Rapey A guy who's creepy, and hugs or kisses inappropriately. He has a rapist lure. You don't think he would do it but definitely gives off that vibe. i.e. creepy hugger at the office.” - now i apparently made a huge error in daring to use that word to describe the conversation where he would not accept me saying no to a relationship (and at one point asked me my ex’s dick size - which i did not give) and continously stated how using words liek that could end up getting him in jail. A and i look at eachother incredulously and try to argue with him a bit but ultimately decide to just get back to the point and bring it back to how uncomfortable i was and how he needs to change his attitude and appologize but he keeps bringing it back to that word. fianlly im close to tears and mutely hugging my yoshi in the front seat and the whole car goes silent. A offers that i sleep over tonight which i decline knowing im sick and need my bed and we talk a bit about my ex and goign out for ramen with him sometime. once i was home i removed B from discord snap and steam and will remove him next time im on league as well. he was removed from my server and i left any i had in common with him. i am done trying to forgive him.

on a brighter note i got sims 4 cause C bought it for me since i couldn't refund his ticket i prepaid for and im learning how to get better from this stupid dry throat. hopefully ill be better by Tuesday so i can go back to work at the library!

After a struggle to raise money after the old barn was destroyed and a fight with the insurance company, the day has finally come. The new structure which is part of a whole new complex will open in 2019. I can’t wait!!!

***** The Daily show had a good idea. Every time that Scary Clown 45 does his daily dose of fucking everything up, call Fox news. Calling your congressmen and protesting will have to continue, of course but it seems he mostly listens to Fox. ***** A personal note: I heard a comedian the other day talking about jerks in all parts of our lives. Whether it be church, work, school, concerts, an AA meeting or whatever there is always an asshole in the mix to ruin stuff. This really resonated with me because I have seen a situation lately that perfectly illustrates this. A local store has a department with 3 managers. Manager #1 keeps hiring in his friends that mostly create their own schedules and do not often break a sweat. Manager #2 has been there a while and things run pretty smooth and fair when they run the day. Manager #3 is new to the position and often seems like they do not know what the fuck is going on and it was recently learned that this one has been backstabbing #2 so much that # 2 was fired. Now, we can’t know, of course, the reason for the firing but it just shows that a perfectly nice place to work and shop with a company one can believe in can go all wrong because of one or two bad apples. Manager #2 who is also battling illness (so does not often have the strength to fight back) has lost a career and many employees who respect them are now stuck working with people they know will run the place into the ground or having to find another job. I have seen a few similar situations thru the years and of course, asshole in chief in D.C. is like the all time perfect example of this but why can’t we weed out the jerks?

***** Days alert: Is Paul leaving? What? They need to bring in a good mate for him. He is arguably the most honest person in town and he deserves the best. Let Will and Sonny have each other and find a better match for Paul but don’t let him go. I mean Sonny treats Paul like he isn’t even in the room half the time and they were going to marry?! But, yes.. Chris Sean (Paul) is going and Bryan R. Dattilo (Lucas) may go soon too. Marci Miller (Abby) is out and will be replaced by the old Abby, Kate Mansin. Arianne Zucker (Nicole) will be back. Will she have a baby for Eric? Olivia Rose Keegar (Claire) has released a single titled ‘Just my type.’** Are they really gonna do a Ben and Ciara thing?** Sephen Nichols (Patch) is out as well as Greg Rikkaart (Leo). Farah Fath (Mimi Lockhart) is back. Sheila, Shawn and Belle will show up soon. Kyle Lowder who used to play Brady will return as another character. There is a rumor that Allison Sweeney (Sami) will swing in for a bit and will she be pregnant with Rafe’s baby? I am betting so since Hope just mentioned something about Raif not having any kids.

Nobody said there was anything wrong with that before so the players would like to know what is wrong with praying? This particular team never took a knee all season as protest. This could be said of Trump, Kim Jung Un or a serial killer. How fucking selfish can people be? Tony Shalhoub, Laurie Metcalf and Andrew Garfield also took home awards. The most beautiful moment was from the students of Stoneman Douglas and their teacher who was honored.** A Trump supporter went to A Bronx tale: The musical after the DeNiro incident which is codirected by Mr. D. The supporter held up a Trump 2020 sign. My son chuckled, “At least he bought a ticket.”

***** Stephen Colbert sang the National anthem at a Mets game.** Trump is taking swipes at the late night hosts now. Conan, Colbert and Fallon teamed up to do a funny about that.

***** So some people think that Roseanne’s racist remarks and Samantha Bee’s ‘cunt’ comment are the same? Both should lose their show? NO.. big difference. Other countries do not get our outrage.. The word ‘cunt’ is not as big a deal in Canada and Great Britain. If there is fall out shouldn’t standards and practices at TBS be in trouble for letting the ‘feckless cunt’ comment go to broadcast? I mean Roseanne did this on her twitter on her own. Trump cult members think they can all go to twitter and spout their racist, hateful rhetoric and get away with it. If one is going to be successful in the mainstream world, they may not get away with that like Scary Clown.
