Ethan’s eyes wandered, scanning your room with curiosity. There were bows everywhere, pink decorations, and white draping curtains from on top of your bed. Your room was decorated like it was for a princess, his outfit clashing hard with his surroundings.

You sat on your bed, your flowery shorts rising up as Ethan’s eyes trailed over your legs. “Come here” you laughed, pulling Ethan into your side. “I didn’t expect your room to be so…pink” you hummed in response. “It’s not that pink, get used to it cause you’ll be over here a lot” You fluffed up his hair, legs intertwining as he turned to look at you.

“It’s kinda comfy in here” The warm smell of vanilla filled his nose, the slight darkness of the room making him sleepy. “I know, I sleep like a baby In here every night” You combed your hands through his hair, his head cuddled up to your neck.

You felt his light breaths on your collarbone, pulling away slightly to look at him. His eyes were closed, small breaths coming from his mouth. He fell asleep with his arms wrapped around you, your body providing him with warmth.

You took a look at him and then at your room. He looked silly surrounded by the hyper-feminine colors. You couldn’t help but blush, hands still running through his hair. “Muffin, come here” you whispered, patting a spot in between you and your boyfriend. You felt the kitten crawl up on the bed, walking over to Ethan before snuggling up to the both of you.

You felt your body relax, closing your eyes before you heard the door open. “Awe! You guys are so sweet” your mom whispered outside the door with a smile. “He’s a good boy y/n, let me take a picture” “Mom, no” you cringed, hiding a smile. “Oh come on honey! You guys are so adorable. When he wakes up I’ve got cookies in the oven, I also made some coffee if you two want any when you start studying, okay?” You smiled. “Yes Mom, thank you” She closed the door, a photo being sent to your phone not long after.

You blushed, setting the photo as your lock screen. Your stomach filled with butterflies as you played with his hair, muffin purring in your lap. “You can have some pets too” you mumbled, both of your hands deep in soft hair.
