Do you remember the chubby!aegon headcanon? Because chubby!aegon has been living rent free in my imagination for months now XD I love Tom Glynn Carney, he is amazing and perfect as Aegon, but everytime i think about him as Aegon i can only see a more thicc and chubby version of him.

i think something non-book-readers don’t understand about the asoiaf saga is that you’re not supposed to fully believe what the characters say, especially when it comes to historical events in-universe, there is a reason why different people have different versions, and most of the time these versions are affected by political propaganda/persona interests and so on. dragonseeds’ originis are supposed to be ambiguos because there is a chance some of them have no actual targaryen/valyrian blood and can still ride dragons, which leads to think that maybe you never needed valyrian blood to do such thing and that that was upheld by the valyrians (and now the targs) for political interest, it’s like the story of how valyrians got their dragons, the official story by the valyrians is that they were humble sheep-hoarders that came across dragons, their myth of the first dragon and the first dragon ridder it’s different and then you have the rumors of them actually creating dragons, practicing blood magic, mixing animals among each other and even humans and dragons to harvest their power, everything is unsure and you’re not supposed to hold one story as true. the targaryens tell us that daenys the dreamer saw the doom and that’s why they left, some others claim that Aenar targaryen left because of issues with the valyrian court, the daenys story could simply be propaganda to paint the targaryens as more magical and powerful that what they really are. another example is doctrine of exceptionalism, one of the pillars of this doctrine was that targaryens didn’t get sick, and then we see daenerys dying of the shivers which completelys bombs the doctrine but it is still upheld because of the targaryens power (especially once they come to an agreement with the faith) also we have no idea how targaryen’s health work, some think it’s bonded to their dragons thus targaryen with dead dragons or no dragons are weaker and so on. most of these recollections crash against each other, i wouldn’t bet for any of it to be 100% true but rather that every version has a little of truth in it, and at the end of the day the real version doesn’t matter, the one that matters is what people believes in (example people believen faegon is rhaegar’s son, it doesn’t matter if he isn’t, i don’t think grrm will ever tell us, what matter is that a lot of people think he is so then he is, faegon himself think he is the real heir and their actions are dictated by this that they hold as fact, to them is true and that’s it)

That last one made me sad so

After Aegon gets poisoned and dealing with all that grief she manages to take Jaehaera and Morghul (because she deserves to have her dragon) and get to Dorne because no one in the 6 kingdoms dares to go there at their own peril to retrieve or harm them

literally so many things would be fixed in asoiaf if they just let their kids go hide in dorne!! i can't believe when they leave them at KL, let them be in dorne dragon and all until they're old enoug i'm begging

Aegon marrying a Martell princess but not a first born that he grows to love so by the end of the Dance is even more tragic because years later Elia and her children have a similar fate

no because the dance and asoiaf in general have so many tragic endings i really hate it so much, especially when there is love in there is always 2x more tragic and we already know what happens to aegon's youngest kid so it would be something horrible like elia and her kids i really hate grrm for all that shit (and aegon really loved his kids in the books too so ugh)

Aegon would love marrying a Martell princess specially if she's the first born so he can be her prince consort

tbh i feel like as soon as aegon learns he can be prince consort or lord consort he toys with the concept in his mind for a long time, he gets to have a wealthy life and not take any part in ruling? only job is to help produce heirs? count him in, he doesn't even think that it also comes with a wife that dotes on him, i'm pretty sure aegon thinks of himself as unlovable so imagine his surprise when the martell princess finds him cute and wants to spoil him (i keep thinking of when arianne meets a man from lys (that looks valyrian) and she says he has lips like a whore and wonders if that's what targaryen men look like cause yeah they do, they're pretty, aegon is pretty) also the dornish lifestyle would do aegon good, and he would get so much attention because of his targaryen looks

aegon from the cole fic and reader often have sleepover, especially if aegon is having one of those weeks were he locks himself away in his room and doesn't wanna speak with people, reader convinces him of taking a shower and eating something and aegon is kinda a crybaby the whole time, when he is finally in bed again he just gives reader the biggest puppy eyes and y'know since he was good he deserves-

they have an odd dynamic tbh she kinda babysits him when he is struggling and he needs the help, he needs someone around who reminds him to eat and to go on a walk and to drink water and all, and of course aegon has to get his way with everything, i feel like the first couple of times aegon's hands sneaked around where they shouldn't reader told him "no" and just cuddled him but after a while she does give in and maybe helps him out with a quick h*ndjob. and aegon is thanking her the whole time, going on and on about how much he needed it and that his hand is not the same and if he can get a kiss too etc etc. it's kinda hard to say no to aegon specially when he is just so deprived of touch

if you follow valyrian rules when it comes to names shouldn't the female version of lucerys be lucerya? (i mean lucerys could be a female name on its own too but the general rule is that names have ya and ys version -> visenya/viserys, rhaenys/rhaenyra, i don't think the ya and ys termination is gendered but i do think valyrian names seem to come in pairs and often follow the ya/ys thing. (of course you have other cases of names and stuff)

Aegon in your cole blurb was the cutest thing ever like him patting the bed for reader and then cuddling her, that's such a cute relationship i imagine aegon being so touchy with her like it calms him down a little

i kinda have a soft spot for aegon tbh i feel like him and reader are a little too close because aegon has a need for touch and reassurance that she helps fulfill, i don't think they have full on sex but probably there have been moments when aegon was going trough a hard time where she helped him in a more sexual way, especially because i feel like aegon mixes validation and care with sex and she indulges him for the sake of his friend's mental health

I wanna keep aegon as a pet actually, imagine he got to run away to essos and some sea lord's daughter hears about a prince running around begging so she offers him a place on her palace since he is royal blood and all but really she keeps him like a pampered little pet

can we just talk about what play fighting w aegon would be like? ever since that scene where aemond fights him i’ve just been thinking of it. tickles. a urge to get dominance over one another. affection. banter. laughter. everything he probably lacked in childhood with his now lover.

omg YES i feel like he has no idea how to be gentle especially while playing fight because he only used to do it with aemond and they were harsh with each other in the training yard (and they didn't really play anymore after aemond lost his eye) so he always has this urge to win when he plays with you, he kinda takes it very seriously and he would use any trick he can to get you to shield which includes: tickling, bitting, making you promises, getting his hand under your dress, anything to win (and he also loves to overpower you) i feel like once you shield he gives you a big kiss on the cheek while laughing
