Poor man.

He was already having no sleep because of how worried he was.

Starts cold sweating as soon as his crow says your name.

Like, he gets so anxious.

Girly goes into killer mode.

Before heading out to look for you, she takes the cruelest poison she can find so the demon dies slowly and horribly.

Just like Rengoku, he carries you all the way home bridal style.

When you two get home Suma, Makio, and Hinatsuru totally focus on you.

Hot bath, your favorite food, they basically just take care of you.

Suma braids your hair while Hinatsuru caresses your face and Makio is asking questions.

Tengen feels his heart warm at the sight.

Just there he allows himself to think what would’ve had happen if he hadn’t come in time.

Now he’s holding the four of you tightly.

She’s trying her best not to cry.

She knows she must handle this situation quickly, and there’s no time for her to cry.

Probably starts looking out for you on the spot.

If you asked her, she would drop a mission just to save you.

All serious and determined.

But probably she just completed her mission faster, without any distractions and left right after it.

And she does, killing the demon takes her a little while but she does it without injuries.

AND THEN.

Okay, just kidding.

His memory is not that bad at this point.

He stays there for a second, looking into the void.

All the possible plans run through his mind.

What is he going to do?

When he comes back to reality, he realizes that he’s hyperventilating.

The only time someone he loves that much has been in such a dangerous situation was when his twin died.

If I was scared of Shinobu.

But how does it dare to touch his beloved partner?

And when the sunrise arrives, he drags it out, so the sun burns it.

After a while, he comes back and carries you on piggyback.

“Don’t ever do that again, idiot.”

Iguro Obanai

Just like Giyuu, he starts blaming himself.

“This wouldn’t have happened if I was worthy of them.”

But more in an internal rage kind of way.

First of all, he takes his time to break stuff.

He isn't usually violent but he can't help but be furious at himself.

Poor Kakushi had to clean his state.

It doesn't take him long to find your location.

He makes it fast, the demon was talking when he cutted his neck.

Obanai doesn't wanna know its reasons, he just wants you to be okay.

He doesn't say a word, he just caresses your face, checking if you're hurt.

He takes you home, it doesn't matter if you can walk he is just going to carry you.

You were keeping an eye on Nezuko while Tanjiro was training outside of the butterfly mansion. Your soft hands repeatedly combing Nezuko's hair while she was laying her head on your lap. As you were combing her hair, the shoji doors open. It revealed to be a tired Tanjiro who noticed you then smiled. Nezuko turned her head to the noise.

"Mmm!" Squealed Nezuko. "Ah, Y/n-san! Thanks for looking after Nezuko for me." He smiled and walk towards you and Nezuko. He kneeled to pat her head. "It's no problem Tanjiro-kun. Nezuko is quite easy to look after." You smiled and stood up, preparing to leave. "Still! Thank you so much.. You're one of the people who accepted Nezuko for who she is even though she's a demon. Thank you a lot Nee-san!"

You smiled and turned your heel to the other side but suddenly stopped when his words slowly processed into your head. You slowly turned your head to him. "Huh..?" You looked at him in disbelief, he was still patting Nezuko's head, unaware of his words. "T-Tanjiro?" You mumbled. He looked then smiled at you. "Yes, Y/n-san?"

"I-- did you just.. Um. Hear what you just said?"

"Huh?" He stopped for a moment to ponder. His face slowly turned pink, flushed with embarrasement. "I-I.. Sorry Y/n-san!" He yelled and bowed as an apology. His yell almost startling you, but without a care, you smiled softly. "Its's okay Tanjiro-kun. You can keep calling me that if you want."

You were a hashira, and a good friend of Mitsuri's. You both were eating in a newly opened resturant that was rumored to be one of the best resturants after completing a mission given to you both by Oyakata-sama.

She was happily eating loads of food, while you were staring at her smiling while eating your own. She always viewed you as her big sister and closest friend, telling you all her secrets and everything. She even told you about Obanai. You smiled again, thinking to yourself.

At least she had a piece of hope in this messed up life with demons crawling around looking for their prey. You snapped out of it when she said something unexpected. "Thank you for letting me come with you, Nee-san!!"

Your E/C eyes widened. "Huh?" You muttered in disbelief. Her smile switched to a embarrassed face. "O-oh.. I'm so sorry Y/n! I didn't mean to call you that!" She hid her face in her hands. You were still kind of shocked, but was happy about it anyways.

Mitsuri x NB!y/n angst (I'm listening to leaves from the vine while writing this-)

Y/n reassured their girlfriend before leaving for their mission

"I'll be fine don't worry mitsuri" y/n said smiling while comforting mitsuri

"please come back safe" mitsuri said hugging y/n once more before letting go

"ok I'll promise to come back safe dear bye" y/n says as a soft smile appears on their face

Y/n quickly runs around a forest searching for the demon, they stop running abruptly as they smell a specific scent that of a demons

y/n looks around and runs to the north side of the forest but as they reach their destination they see lower moon 5, y/n quickly takes advantage that lowermoon 5's back is facing them

"rainbow breathing: yellow style: first form: yellow slashes" y/n muttered but lower moon 5 noticed and quickly sent a slash towards them

'shit a lower moon' y/n thought as they quickly blocked the demons attack

Y/n swung their swords towards the demon but the demon blocked it and sent multiple slashes towards y/n, 'shit i got hit' thought y/n as they continue attacking the demon

An hour later (i suck at writing fight scenes)

"rainbow breathing: red style: second form: the wrath of the three-headed dog" y/n screamed as they cut the demons head off, panting y/n limps to a tree and leans on it

'I've defeated the lower moon but at what cause?' y/n thought as they look up at the sky

Y/n's heart beats slow, their eyes closing, breath slowly disappearing, the sound of footsteps approaching

As y/n takes their final breaths they say "tell mitsuri that i'm sorry for not keeping our promise" y/n smiles softly as they close their eyes and succumb to the darkness

"Lower moon 5 was defeated by a kinoe ranked slayer named y/n l/n but at the cause of y/n l/n's life!" a crow announced as the hashiras and kagaya were in the middle of their annual meeting, kagaya frowned at the death, mitsuri shocked, "poor soul" a certain hashira said crying, everyone sad for the death of mitsuri's lover

Plot: you are into a lovely relationship with your boyfriend/girlfriend. They are so sweet and lovely towards you, but what happens when another pillar flirts with you before their eyes?

Rengoku Kyojuro.

Who flirted with you? Obanai Iguro.

Kyojuro was a ray of sunshine. He seemed aloof from experiencing jealousy and your relationship was based solely and purely on respect and loyalty. He loved you and he never failed in declaring that, although you were together, he would have never made you feel like a spider in a cage. You were his whole damn world, after all. You were his lover, not his prisoner.

However, everybody could tell you were his girlfriend. How? Well, let’s say that Kyojuro had his ways of being politely territorial.

Wherever you stood, he was. Whenever you two were strolling down a village, or hanging around the Headquarters together, he held your hand or snaked an arm around your waist as you peacefully walked.

Nobody should have ever dared to enrage the tiger within his burning heart.

It was a peaceful night, when the crows announced that a nearby village had been attacked by a few lower ranks. You were immediately summoned to take care of them and your comrade and partner for the night was none other than Iguro Obanai. The infamous Snake Pillar. A great friend, really. Everybody wondered how you got to be so close to him and even Kyojuro stared at you two with a tight-lipped smile plastered over his face. Maybe, he had his reasons after all.

It was a homicidal grin, but you could have never imagined it. Not until that night, at least.

Once Obanai and you had arrived at the village, you chased down the demons and quickly took care of them. A neat job, indeed. However, you were now covered in blood. Obanai dashed towards you and tore a corner of his haori to clean your face from the sticky stains, before they could dry out.

When he gently tilted your head up, you blushed and stared at him in shock. You did not expect such an affectionate gesture from him. It was way too sweet to suit him.

“Don't worry about the stains. You are still pretty. Nothing could ever change that” he uttered, hooded eyes inspecting your face.

You weakly smiled, but a red blade shining under the moonlight made you goggle and scurry back in fear. Your boyfriend was smiling ear from ear, eyes wide open as he stood right behind Obanai. His blade pressed against the shorter Hashira's throat made you realise how toasted he was.

“I think you should take your leave, my friend! — he beamed, without blinking — I will take care of my girlfriend perfectly” he remarked, abruptly letting go of him. You watched the raven-haired Pillar disappear from your sight in a nick of time and soon you found yourself in Kyojuro's arms.

He did not let go of you for the whole damn night.

Tomioka Giyuu.

Who has flirted with you? Tengen Uzui.

Giyuu was not exactly the jealous type. He knew that you were a friendly person and he let you hang out with whoever you wanted to. The Water Pillar had never doubted your loyalty, but he had always suspected Tengen Uzui had a crush on you.

The way the Sound Pillar just complimented you every now and then, or the way he stood right beside you during the meetings were just some of the hints he had collected. He was sly, was he not?

However, as long as the white-haired guy did not lay a finger on you, he was going to pretend this whole situation was not bothering him. He wanted to avoid drama, but he actually became a drama queen.

Eventually, in fact, he found himself letting his stolid façade slipping off to shoot daggers at Tengen's back.

You had just come back from a mission and Tengen had not missed his chance to pest you with questions about your journey, or the battle you had enganged with the demon.

However, he was standing too close to you, invading your personal space to the point he could see how his breath fanned your hair and how you were trying your best not to falter under the Sound Pillar's pression.

Thoughts crossed Tomioka’s mind. He was going to make Makio, Suma and Hinatsuro widows.

“You are so flamboyant, damn it! I expected no less from a gorgeous woman like you... — Tengen said, leaning down towards you to whisper a rather indecent proposal in your ear — l would not mind making you my fourth wife”.

You blushed, eye twitching and cold sweat running down your spine like a waterfall. You did not know what to say, but you did not have to badger yourself to spit out something for too long, since your boyfriend simply dragged you away and showed his middle finger at Tengen. You had let out a squeak of surprise as Giyuu had literally walked by you, extending one arm out to grasp your waist and haul you over his shoulder.

Now, that was hilarious.

Never in your life you would have thought to see Giyuu insult someone. Especially someone as flashy and flameboyant as Uzui Tengen.

“Oh, that was not so flamboyant, Giyuu Tomioka!” you heard Tengen shout, as you chuckled in amusement and kissed your boyfriend’s cheek.

Kanroji Mitsuri.

Who flirted with you? Rengoku Kyojuro.

Your lovely girlfriend Mitsuri was not jealous at all. She was the Love Pillar, after all, she was probably far way more keen to spread love around the world than you.

Yet, she sometimes felt insecure. What if she was not enough? What if you could just find someone better than her? What if you got bored of her? She knew the feeling of not being appreciated for who she was. Some scars were maybe still ready to burn, if the chance was given.

Therefore, when her glimmering emerald eyes clouded over with saddness, it was a clear sign that she was kind of jealous about the way people acted around you.

Now, it was a lovely sunday morning and your girlfriend had suggested to pay a visit to the Rengoku Estate. You cheerfully agreed and, after a small trip, you finally made it to the Flame Pillar’s residence. Nothing was going to ruin such a beautiful day, or so you thought.

Hand in hand, Mitsuri and you smiled brightly at the younger Rengoku and his eyes glistened in joy. When Senjuro spotted the two of you outiside, he dropped the broom and immediately dashed back into the living room to call his brother.

It did not take a lot for Kyojuro to make his glorious appearence and, once his bright eyes landed on you, he wasted no time in sprinting towards you and involving you into a tight bear hug. In that split second, Mitsuri’s heart throbbed. Your hand left hers, but you had not paid much attention to it. After all, Kyojuro was almost squeezing the life out of you.

Therefore, you blushed and returned the embrace with equal affection, laughing slightly, as he ruffled your hair before letting you go.

“Y/N-chan, you look glamorous today! This kimono suits you better than your uniform!” Kyojuro beamed, a genuine smile on his lips.

Your cheeks heated up even more and you bashfully smiled at him “Thank you, Rengoku-san” you said, earning a joyful chuckle from him.

After that, Kyojuro told you he would have been back in a minute with some snacks and that you could make yourself home, in the meanwhile. You nodded your head, still slightly taken aback by his words, and simply stood there to watch him run back to the kitchen.

It was only then that you darted your eyes on Mitsuri and noticed how your girlfriend was staring at her feet, her eyes were twinkling but not in joy. Tears, they were huge tears threatening to spill out. She looked hurt and your heart broke in half at the way her shoulders trembled.

“Honey, are you okay? What's happened?” you asked her, grasping her hand and holding it between yours.

She sniffed, the tip of her nose reddened, as she threw her arms around you and hid her face onto the crook of your neck.

"Y/N-chan, you are not falling for Kyojuro, are you? —she feebly asked — I love you so much! I know he is fantastic and strong, but I can be cute and powerful too for you!" she piped out, making butterflies flutter into your stomach and a tear escape your own eye.

“Mitsuri Kanroji, you are the best thing that could have ever happened to me. Don't you dare doubting yourself and my unconditional love for you ever again, you silly cutie-pie» you jokingly scolded her, planting a kiss on the top of her head.

She giggled at this, wiping the tears off of her face with back of her hand as she kissed you gently.

In the end, you two got to spend and amzing day with the Rengoku silblings and your girlfriend knew you would have always chosen her over anyone else.

Kocho Shinobu.

Who flirted with you? Kanroji Mitsuri.

Was Shinobu the jealous type? Actually, she was not. She trusted you blindly, especially around your friends. However, she believed there were some lines a friend should never cross and you found yourself to agree with her point of view. Your relationship was balanced, healthy.

Kocho Shinobu was a rational and polite person who rarely made a scene. Despite that, a certain Pillar truly tested her nerves once.

You were sparring with your girlfriend at the Butterfly Estate, when the Love Pillar made her appearence. She politely asked you if she could train with you and, since your girlfriend was getting rather tired, she allowed the pink-haired girl to take her place. Mitsuri squeaked out in joy and you two started training under the attentive eye of the Insect Pillar.

The petite girl did not fail to notice how the pink-haired slayer kept on praising you and involving you into tight hugs, whenever you scored against her. Her prosperous breasts were nearly suffocating you. The irk mark on your girlfriend’s forehead was evident, but she restrained herself from making a scene. Or, at least, she tried to.

When the Love Pillar cupped your face in her hands and planted a kiss on the top of your nose to congratulate you for your victory, Shinobu lost her temper. She could not do it anymore.

“Oh, you're so talented and beautiful, Y/N-chan! — Mitsuri beamed, squeezing your cheeks affectionately — Would you like to accompany me to my next mission?” she asked, staring at you with her big doe eyes.

You did not have the chance to reply, your girlfriend did it for you.

“Ah, she is already assigned for another mission... However, I can accompany you out of my Estate now, what do you say?” Shinobu chimed, her right eye twitching.

That was frightening. Terribly frightening.

PART 1: SAVE YOUR TEARS

SYNOPSIS: You were finally happy with someone who finally acknowledged you and showed that they love you, but how do you past partners feel when they find out and see you smiling with a fellow insect hashira and holding hands with said hashira?

News of you and Shinobu dating reached the ears of many slayers quickly, and many people were very happy of you and congratulated the both of you for the blossoming relationship.

Shinobu held your hand on the table as the flame and sound hashira who were seated around you were non-stop talking to the both of you of how happy they were for the both of you and joked about how it took so long.

“You know it made me wonder how long it would take for Shinobu to grow the balls to finally confess!” Tengen exclaimed, but then put his spoon down and placed it inside of his bowl to bring his hand up to his face in thought, “Hmm… is that the right wording…”

But before anyone could answer you, the flame hashira who was seated next to Tengen spoke up. “Me as well! It was very obvious that Shinobu had a crush on you! She was like a little girl with a crush!”

Shinobu coughed and furrowed her brows at how the two guys exposed her and before she could scold them, her features softened and a soft blushed-smile blossomed on her face at the sound of your laugh. Shinobu didn’t know how she managed to get so lucky on dating you. You were everything she ever wanted and more and she couldn’t help but bring your hand that she was still holding and brought it to her lips to place a soft kiss.

You only giggled more as you grew red and even the two hashiras laughed at the lovey-dovey but also out of character display that Shinobu displayed. It wasn’t new to you that Shinobu had a crush on you before as your Mitsuri and Obanai before would bring up her longing looks and how touchy she would be with you before whenever you came to her when you were hurt from a mission.

“Honestly me too!” You said which shocked the three slightly that you of her crush on you. “I always pretty much knew she had feelings on me, I’m just happy she still does and that I’m finally in a relationship where I feel happy and loved.” You finished and looked over at Shinobu next to you who was staring at you like you were the most beautiful being in the world.

Rengoku and Tengen only smiled and congratulated the both of you again before Tengen called for celebratory drinks on the happy new couple.

Unbeknownst to your smiling figure, a certain other couple was staring with sad longing looks. Mitsuri couldn’t help but shake a little as she held back tears and Obanai immediately looked over at her and wrapped an arm around her while the other held her hand in a comforting manner.

“Don’t you feel horrible?” Mitsuri mumbled just loud enough for the both of them to hear. Obanai looked down before hesitating to nod. In truth, since you both left, they never regretted what they did. They wished that hadn’t ignored you. “I mean—“ Mitsuri looked up, “they would get hurt on purpose and we just—“ she huffed and slumped her shoulders. “We just ignored them, we knew but didn’t do anything…” she said as a few tears escaped and rolled down her cheeks.

Obanai stared at her, he wished he could comfort her and tell her they’ll move passed this but he didn’t think they could. He felt regret, he loved- no, loves you and he just let you go. He knows him and Mitsuri let you down and he wished he could go back in time to show you that they’re here for you. ‘But it’s too late, you’re finally happy and they aren’t’ he thinks solemnly as he hugs Mitsuri who only sobs quietly into his neck.

but then he's injured on a mission

and waiting in the infirmary for shinobu to show up and patch him up

and then u bust through the doors???

shinobu is on a mission and you've been helping out in the infirmary

so looks like ur the one taking care of him today

and turns out his injury is bad enough to land him an extended stay in his lil hospital bed

and after a few days of u taking care of him

with ur red face and soft stuttered words

he learns that you're not so bad

and he actually enjoys being around you

and being taken care of

won't voice this tho

but when Aoi comes in to give him his meds one day he gives himself away by accident

with a

"where's y/n?"

he's a blushing grumbling mess after that lol

after he discharged best believe the next time he gets injured he's not even going to the infirmary

he's hunting u tf down

nobody else gets to take care of him except YOU

and thats period.
