he was a hashira before u

but u get promoted and its an instinct

child.

at first he probably gets annoyed by you

he's not used to someone caring for him the way that u do

but then one day ur sent on a long mission

maybe a few weeks long

and he finds himself missing something

of course he has no idea what it is that he's missing something

he completely forgot about u

but when you get back to the butterfly estate and he sees u

it clicks

he remembers

he missed you

he missed your overprotective nature

he missed your soft caring voice

he missed the way that you brush and style his hair

he REALLY missed that ^

walks up to u, grabs ur hand and tugs u away

doesn't care if you were talking to someone

and doesn't say a word

brings you to his favorite cloud watching spot with a tight grip on your hand

makes you sit down

and lays his head in ur lap

stop im squealing and kicking my feet from the cuteness

SWEETEST HUMAN BEING TO EVER EXIST EVER

she loves u

ofc she does she's the love hashira

but in mitsuri's mind how could she not absolutely ADORE u

not only are you breathtakingly beautiful in her eyes

but she sees the way u interact with the younger slayers

how u genuinely care for everyone's wellbeing

if she wasn't looking for a husband she would wife u tf UP

she still might lol

mitsuri is gonna go out of her way to become friends with you

she's inviting u to her estate for girl's night with shinobu

she's dragging u along to her favorite restaurant for lunch

she's inviting u to join her at the hot springs to relax

she really enjoys ur presence

even if ur shy she thinks ur very soothing to be around

she loves when you do her hair!!

and when u cook for her??

mitsuri alrdy eats a lot

but if u made the food for her??

girl is not letting a CRUMB go to waste

loves the way u take care of everyone

especially when u take care of her

OBANAI

someone pls love this man

so when he sees ur interactions with the younger slayers he's prob a lil put off at first

we don't have time for all ur mothering and coddling

but then he's injured on a mission

and waiting in the infirmary for shinobu to show up and patch him up

and then u bust through the doors???

confused asf

shinobu is on a mission and you've been helping out in the infirmary

so looks like ur the one taking care of him today

and turns out his injury is bad enough to land him an extended stay in his lil hospital bed

and after a few days of u taking care of him

with ur red face and soft stuttered words

he learns that you're not so bad

and he actually enjoys being around you

and being taken care of

won't voice this tho

but when Aoi comes in to give him his meds one day he gives himself away by accident

with a

"where's y/n?"

he's a blushing grumbling mess after that lol

after he discharged best believe the next time he gets injured he's not even going to the infirmary

he's hunting u tf down

nobody else gets to take care of him except YOU

and thats period.

I would like to order a headcanon x hashiras reader (please include giyu) where the reader has the natural gift of blending in perfectly with the environment, in addition to being able to move silently and be a quiet person, so much so that she can go unnoticed by the vast majority of people, and sometimes it ends up scaring other people because they didn't realize she was there or because they forgot about her, as if she were a ghost. She is also a sweet, soft, caring, and kind person.

Giyuu | Muichiro | Obanai [X Reader]

In which their hashira s/o is able to perfectly disappear in any environment, and sneaks up on them from time to time.

Giyuu

He used to think it was him that everyone looked over, missed, forgot, until he remembered you existed too

You'd been a hashira longer than him, but he only found out about you a year after he became one

Yes, you'd been to every meeting

Yes, he'd spoken to you at several

Probably feels the most guilty about not noticing you, even if he knows you do it on purpose

Ties ribbons around his fingers, writes notes to himself, anything so he at least remembers to spend that extra second it takes to notice you

Sometimes he worries that if you are in danger, he will gloss over you because of your aura

You do your best to reassure him that if you were really in pain you'd be screaming and crying until he showed up

Asks that you tug his sleeve when you arrive in a room with him so he can acknowledge you

Muichiro

This duo is broken

You disappear even in a small group, as if always blending in despite being right there

Even just the two of you, he might struggle to remember you are right there next to him

He remembers very vividly that he is in love with someone, and he recalls your name and face, but it takes him awhile to match the information

Sometimes when you go to hold his hand, he pulls it away

" I have a fiance. "

" I am your fiance! "

" ...Oh, why didn't you say so? "

Sometimes it freaks him out when he is telling you about his mission and you fill in the details as if you had been there

" I was there! "

Obanai

Obanai is one of the most stealthy Hashira, he used to be the most, until he found out you'd been there just as long as he had

Plays off that he never noticed you and acts as if he totally knew the whole time

Yeah! He just didn't think you deserved to be acknowledged if you wanted to act so sly

This is easily combated by the fact that the next day you scare the hell out of him by calling his name from right behind him while he's hiding out

Easily the only person to have scared him enough to stumble, and he is damned glad no one was around to see it or else he'd of had to make quick work of you

With his and his snake's eyes, he is one of the few people who can find you or catch you

When you end up together, Kuburamaru will be sent to hang around your neck or cling to you, since he can easily communicate with and find his snake in a large crowd

" Just because you want to be hidden doesn't mean I'll let you. "
