Y'all remember that MCYT PJO au I asked for help with awhile ago? WELL HERE'S THE CABINS AND MY EXPLINATIONS BEHIND THEM!!

#1 Zeus Cabin: Jimmy, Joel Jimmy: He's a Zeus kid, but everyone somehow forgets about it. Joel: He's competitive and strong. Also, because Jimmy is his half brother through godly parent, i get to make a fun bit about him dating Lizzie. And one of his origins in Afterlife SMP was a thunderborn

#2 Hera Cabin: Scott Scott: Scott's whole thing is loyalty. Hera is the goddess of marriage and is insanely loyal to Zeus. However, I feel like Hera should get at least one affair. So now Scott can use peacocks as weapons.

#3 Poseidon Cabin: Skizz Skizz: Poseidon kids tend to be really, really loyal to a fault and heroic, both qualities I think Skizz possesses.

#4 Demeter Cabin: Sausage, Shelby, Bdubs, Stress Sausage: This man built Sanctuary in a jungle and has flowers in his hair. He sells wood. There is no other place to put him. Shelby: Mushroom gnome, spooky mangrove witch, powerful storm witch, i need not continue. Bdubs: Moss man. Stress: SHE HAS FLOWERS

#5 Ares Cabin: Martyn, False Martyn: His planet is Mars, which is the roman version of Ares. He ended Limited Life in such a violent way, i can't help it. He was also red for the majority of Secret Life. False: I just feel like False should get to kill people more often.

#6 Athena Cabin: Grian, Pix, Owen, Xisuma Grian: This sums it up pretty well

Pix: Smart man. Archeologist and definitely a nerd. I wanna see him skipping out on training just so he can read history books. Owen: He likes to explore and discover new things in Pirates. In Rats, he's a tinkerer. In New Life, he's an explorer who wants to study hybrids. In Empires, he's a Llama who's curious about how humans work. Just a very curious character overall. Xisuma: Admin. I'm not elaborating.

#7 Apollo Cabin: Gem, Oli, Lyarrah Gem: She is an Apollo kid because of her Empire in S2. She's the sunlight princess. Apollo kid. Oli: MUSIC. MAN. Lyarrah: She writes the captions for the hermitcraft recap.

#8 Artemis Cabin: Pearl Pearl: Y'know, Artemis could've just like... had a kid, even though she took that oath. It wouldn't even have to be with a guy. Gods can change to whatever gender they want. Anyway, Pearl gets to be an Artemis kid because her symbolism is moon, she loves dogs, and will commit murder and hunt at night.

#9 Hephaestus Cabin: Doc, Mumbo, Tango, Impulse, Cub, Zedaph, Fwhip, Iskall Doc: Redstone Mumbo: Redstone Tango: Redstone Impulse: Redstone Cub: Redstone Zedaph: Redstone Fwhip: Redstone AND has a red scarf (don't ask me how that's relevant) Iskall: Redstone

#10 Aphrodite Cabin: Keralis Keralis: Okay, I don't know why, but Keralis gives me the vibes of a very charming person. His voice is nice to listen to, so imagine how useful it'd be if I gave him charm speak.

#11 Hermes Cabin: Scar, Etho, Joe Scar: Trader Scar, scammer extraordinar. Etho: All i must say is Shady-E's. I get "jack-of-all-trades, master of none, often better than master of one" vibes from him. He's funny, he's mischievous, it just works. Joe: Comedy man. Excellent delivery. And, yet again, i look at this man and go "That right there is a multi-talented man with a habit for mischief."

#12 Dionysus Cabin: Joey, Beef Joey: *points at his season one empires theme* i need not say more Beef: Idk, food. I don't really have a reason. I don't know too much about Beef.

#13 Hades Cabin: Zloy Zloy: Zombie man. He writes the Hermitcraft recaps in the dark at 2am with nothing but pure spite.

#14 Iris Cabin: Katherine Katherine: SHE. HAS. COLORS. and also I couldn't put her in Demeter cabin because Shelby is already there and i am NOT excluding Nature Wives from this au

#15 Hypnos Cabin: Bigb, XB, Wels Bigb: Sleepy stuff, right? WRONG. Gaslight. Go in everyones dreams, make fake prophecies, peace out, and cause chaos. XB: I look at his fanon design, I see an alien, and I go "aha he sleeps" Wels: This guy (@dingdinghq) said so and i completely agree. Something about sleeping in S6.

#17 Nike Cabin: Ren Ren: VICTORY. I don't know much about Ren's story in the Life Series, but I look at this man and see someone who has won a lot.

I saw this and all I thought was Fae!Price and Witch's wedding... binding them together in a more physical sense... gjdjksjdkddn

A witch and fae wedding would be the biggest party of the fucking century. It's months of planning and quietly exchanged promises as Price tries to sooth his witch. "No harm will come to you by my hand or any others if I can help it." Price assures you when he bandages your fingers. "All gifts from my hands are freely given," you assure Price when you hand him a fresh cigar. "Food from my hand will never bind you," Price tells you when you hesitate taking an apple from him. "My home is your home," you smile, when he asks to stay the night. "What's mine is yours," Price fingers the locket around your neck, tracing over your skin with gentle touches. "You have my heart for the rest of my life," you whisper under thick blankets in the early morning light. "And you have mine," Price whispers back.

"To love and care for, until the end of it all," you repeat as you cross the cording around your joined hands. Far in the distance you can hear the music and joy of the wedding party. You smile and Price tugs the other end of the cord tight, binding your hands. He says your name, as quietly as a breeze through the trees, and gives you his vows. Gives you himself the same way you give yourself to him.

Then you both go and enjoy the festivities. A drunken binge that could only be rivaled by Dionysus himself, and continues for the next week. Stopped only by the encroaching headache of a hangover.

It’s been a while since I’ve written something here (thanks covid! Im still facing a few difficulties due to this bad b***), so why not resume to make posts again?

I wanted to share a little thing I did to myself to bring with me my altar’s energies and influeces: a Witch pouch!

So yes, the main items I used were:

- Selenite (crystal with lunar attunement, known as an energy cleanser, powerful stone of luck and protection)

- Pine cone (to represent the one onto the Thyrsus, Dionysus’ staff, a symbol of prosperity, fertility, and hedonism)

- A charm depicting Diana (just in case..)

- Mugwort (a herb I’m strongly bond to, but besides that, a herb associated with Diana herself, with the moon, with the feminine)

- A hagstone/“Diana’s stone” (as Charles Godfrey Leland writes in the “Aradia, Gospel of the Witches”: because finding a holed stone meant that the finder has Diana’s favor)

Also, I know it’s unrelated but can I say how much I love this pouch? I got it from a vintage market, it was a 60s-70s fabric belt’s container, the belt has the very same black velvet + decorations (sharing a picture of that as well!), that reminds me of Black Henbane flowers 🖤

Hellenic Witch tips

Hellenic witchcraft is very interesting in Ancient Greek and Roman history, divination wasn’t consider to be magic but a regular part of theurgy or communication with the gods. Magic was seen as taboo and certain time periods people were faced with persecution when they attempted to “curse” someone seeing it to be equal to murder. The Magical Greek papyri a collection of texts that were found on lead tablets of magical spells that were done in Ancient Greece one of the popular methods of magic in the Hellenic World was poppet magic, made from clay usually most recognize as today as “voodoo” dolls which is very misunderstood through mainstream media and two separate cultures and traditions. Here are some great Hellenic deities to work with in your magical journey!

- Hekate: one of the most common and well known deity to be associated with magic. Besides being associated with magic she was invoke during home protection. She is the personification of magic the good, the bad, and the ugly. Her triple form represents the crossroads and her sacred animals are Hounds and Snakes

- Hermes: Hermes is the messenger of the gods and mortals and gifted humans sacred arts and rituals. He is often been merge with Thoth and this aspect became well known associated with magicians and the occult. I recommend if you’re interested in ceremonial magick, but you can work with him no matter what

- Artemis: she is often associated with Hekate as another aspect of hers, especially in the context of nature and the moon. Artemis is associated as well with Diana the Roman goddess of the moon and hunt very similar but Diana is considered to be the queen of witches and fairies.

- Apollo: In modern day we probably see divination as part of witchcraft but anyone can ask a question and throw pair of lots or shuffle tarot cards. But it’s the act of putting energy into the things we seek can be magical. Through yes Apollo can be worked with when it comes to healing and fertility but he can be destructive and cursing of illness. But Apollo is one of the gods of purification and illuminating against darkness, and can be invoke against evil spirits and negative energies.

Dionysus: Dionysus is very unique in the sense yes he is the god of drunkeness and madness but not mad as in crazy but divine madness or ecstasy where someone physically and mentally feels and sees the perspective of the gods. Through the process of being reborn. Once Dionysus was mortal but when he was killed and born again by Zeus he became a divine immortal who represents nature and her cycles that transforms constantly. One can achieve through hard work and meditations discovering themselves and reflecting on the past.

Those deities are just examples but there are plenty of the Olympians and lesser gods and spirits to work with magical wise. Athena is the goddess of crafts, witchcraft can be that craft that you devout your work to or divination. From personal experience I have made War water with Ares and it worked fantastically. For Aphrodite can be love magic or self love spells or glamour magic. If you work with a deity closely you can associate with a lot of practices of magic with them. Have the spell be part as an offering to them and let them be part of it as you prepare for the spell.

Zeus: she trained her peacock to attack people who annoy her on command — it’s often me. i’m people

Hera: his lockscreen is a picture of him and his brothers aka not a picture of me

Poseidon: she cries when she sees the fish in petsmart

Amphitrite: he yells “tsunami!” and knocks me over with water when we bathe together

Hades: she texts her mom right after sex

Persephone: he tells his dad jokes to me instead of our kids

Dionysus: she falls asleep before I do. (who am I supposed to talk to then??)

Ariadne: he sobs on my lap about how much he loves me when he’s drunk — which is sweet, but not for SIX HOURS STRAIGHT-

Hephaestus: she insists on plucking my eyebrows every four days

Aphrodite: oh he’s more like a 4, but he’s sweet and makes me stuff and gives good back rubs and - oh wait, you mean Ares? Yeah he’s a 10

Ares: she gnaws on my arm when she’s bored. he likes to say “rise and shine” like Kylie Jenner at 5 a.m.

Apollo: he believes violence is always the answer

Artemis: she tells me the most boring facts about the most boring things and I have to pretend to be interested

Athena: she wants to pick fights with people three times her size

Hecate: she doesn’t like Sabrina the Teenage Witch

Demeter: she forgets to water the plants in our house

Okay so sorting characters into Hogwarts houses is obviously out of fashion but can we assign them a Camp Half-blood cabin, like:

Luz could be Apollo (cause she's bi, cause she's a ray of sunshine, cause she loves art and music and is creative and also her mom's a vet so she's a kind of healer)

Amity can be either Athena (cause she a smort gurl who loves to learn and read and be clever) or Hephaestus (cause she grows up to be like an inventor/engineer/mechanic thing and Alador has kinda Hephaestus vibes) or it would even be cool if she was a Hecate kid (you know because she parallels Hecate from the Azura book series)

Willow is obviously Demeter, I don't need to explain that one.

Gus is more difficult. But I think he would either also be an Athena kid (Gus and Amity in the same cabin what a concept huh) or Dionysus (cause he can torture people with illusions and Dionysus could do that too)

Eda and Lilith can both be in the Hecate cabin (it's the vibes mostly, Eda more than Lilith tho, Eda would totally go into the Witchcraft cabin (yes I know they're *all* witches but Eda's vibes are different)) or the Eris cabin (you know, Eris the goddess of Chaos? That's totally Eda)

Raine is also in the Apollo cabin (art, music and poetry like Luz. Also bitch is a hopeless romantic with a trainwreck love life, that's as Apollo as anything)

Hunter is more difficult I think. Hades maybe? Cause he came back from the dead and he's got all that trauma wet cat eyebag sadness just like Nico?

Vee.... Aphrodite? Because Aphrodite can change her face depending on who looks at her?

King... Zeus? Like, King of Demons, King of the Gods?

Astria has no one true god. Gods from all type of myth join together and collaborate in their realms and places on what has to be done, jobs and duties. Some of these realms have helpers that consist of witches or warlocks (sometimes wizards) to lighten the load. Very slimly will there be humans picked for these jobs.

Plurality & Paganism: An Introspective

If any of you keep up with my main (@sinfulauthor), you may have noticed this post, along with my new pinned post. In short, I've come to the realization (after burying the thought of it for many years) that we are a Collective.

Now, how does this impact this blog and my craft?

To start off, this blog's content will remain the same. It will still primarily act as an e-grimoire with some additional posts, but the people posting what content will change. Specifically, these people:

-Alex (they/them), the host (hi!). I'll generally do most of the talking/posting. Works with The Signless/Sufferer and Dionysus. ANP that the IRL coven knows. (I'm not open with them about being a Collective just yet.)

-Vaati (he/him), who works with Demise and focuses on divination. Writes solely in cursive and gets VERY frustrated when grimoire notes are in standard print.

-Ghira (he/him), who works with Demise closer than Vaati for Obvious Reasons™️. (Though he generally doesn't do any actual spellwork, just offerings, worship, and altar setup.)

-Karkat (he/they) on occasion, solely because Signless HAS shown himself to him and is very much a Dad™️.

-Toko (she/her) has not yet "awakened." She was a former kin heavily associated with our craft. Taking bets on her being a spellcrafter/writer.

So, now that the roll call is done, onto some other stuff regarding plurality and paganism, the introspection the title mentions. (This will be below the cut as it's not as integral to the "functioning" of this blog.)

So, coming to the realization as a system was... interesting. We first became aware of dissociative disorders through Danganronpa (Yes, Toko's horrible representation. We know.) and related to Toko heavily. At the time, we were heavily involved in the Fictionkin community and had "memories" of those "timelines." However, this relatability on the DID aspect was soon hidden under the guise of "I like to write, and so does she! Also super traumatized like me lmao," and then we didn't think about it for five more years.

Come 2023, we've relapsed for the first time in four years and are going through some pretty traumatic stuff again. At an Esbat in September, an argument breaks out that causes us to dissociate and brings up those really painful feelings from childhood. Nothing felt real, and the rest of the night was foggy. (The people in the argument have since apologized. It was also an extremely stressful night due to our old High Priest being ousted for sexual misconduct not even 4 hours before we started.)

At this point, this whole debacle causes us to realize, "Hey, this isn't really a normal trauma response. There might be something else going on." We have a lot of friends who are systems, and we went to them asking, "Hey, do you like. think we're a system?" and FIVE OF THEM SNIFFED US OUT YEARS AGO AND DIDN'T BOTHER TO TELL US??? Like maybe that would have been useful information, idk (We still love our friends to bits, though)

So, fast forward to 2024. Still in the process of diagnosis but receiving trauma-focused therapy to process things. It's been a long process of figuring out how to live/function as someone with a dissociative disorder, but we're learning.

Thankfully, having a good support network has been a great help. We have an almanac (specifically The Practical Witch's 2024 Almanac by Friday Gladheart) to track our craft/spiritual work, and it's interesting to see the input of everyone in the collective. It's a lot of taking things day by day and seeing how things go, but we feel the energy around us changing.

FINAL CABIN PLACEMENTS I DON'T WANT TO EDIT IT AFTER THIS

So many of y'all had so many good ideas (and since a lot of these i came up with without any real reasoning) here's my updated version that i think fits A LOT better

#2 Hera Cabin: Scott, Impulse, Ren Scott: Scott's whole thing is loyalty. Hera is the goddess of marriage and is insanely loyal to Zeus. However, I feel like Hera should get at least one affair. So now Scott can use peacocks as weapons. Impulse: According to @dawnfire7 Impulse is known for loyalty, which i did not know. He's also known to hold grudges. Perfect Hera kid. Ren: He's apparently known for loyalty (and i didn't really like his Nike placement anyway)

#3 Poseidon Cabin: XB XB: Something about water temple guardians

#6 Athena Cabin: Grian, Pix, Owen, Xisuma Grian: This sums it up pretty well

#7 Apollo Cabin: Oli, Lyarrah Oli: MUSIC. MAN. Lyarrah: She writes the captions for the hermitcraft recap.

#8 Artemis Cabin: Pearl, Gem Pearl: Y'know, Artemis could've just like... had a kid, even though she took that oath. It wouldn't even have to be with a guy. Gods can change to whatever gender they want. Anyway, Pearl gets to be an Artemis kid because her symbolism is moon, she loves dogs, and will commit murder and hunt at night. Gem: Someone really wanted these girls to be sisters, and I think Gem and pearl should get to hunt at night and be fierce together. Oh, and she's got the whole deer aesthetic.

#9 Hephaestus Cabin: Doc, Mumbo, Tango, Zedaph, Fwhip, Iskall Doc: Redstone Mumbo: Redstone Tango: Redstone Zedaph: Redstone Fwhip: Redstone AND has a red scarf (don't ask me how that's relevant) Iskall: Redstone

#10 Aphrodite Cabin: Keralis, Skizz, Bigb Keralis: Okay, I don't know why, but Keralis gives me the vibes of a very charming person. His voice is nice to listen to, so imagine how useful it'd be if I gave him charm speak. Skizz: Person in the tags said he was really charming and you can't help but love him. I agree. He's here now. Bigb: Smooth talker. Someone (i think it was Scott) said in one of their videos "It's hard to kill him while he's talking". Charmspeak. Ma man, go do chaos.

#12 Dionysus Cabin: Joey, Beef, Cub Joey: *points at his season one empires theme* i need not say more Beef: Idk, food. I don't really have a reason. I don't know too much about Beef. Cub: Someone said Cub was really laid back, i liked this idea, he's here now. C'mon, go make ur empire.

#13 Hades Cabin: Zloy Zloy: Zombie man. He writes the Hermitcraft recaps in the dark at 2am with nothing but pure spite.

#14 Iris Cabin: Katherine Katherine: SHE. HAS. COLORS. and also I couldn't put her in Demeter cabin because Shelby is already there and i am NOT excluding Nature Wives from this au
