Since Thanksgiving is coming up soon how about the fam gets force invited to dinner by some random relatives who they don't talk to and it ends up a battle of the the two families trying to show each other up and it ends in a fire and tears.
It’s been a good minute since I got this (I’ve been rlly busy with moving and preparing for the holidays so I’ve mostly doing text posts bc those are super quick) but I do adore this. As someone who’s from a loud, chaotic, and at times even shameless, southern (US) family I’ve seen some pretty wild thanksgivings. From my sisters hair catching on fire to my aunt yelling ‘fuck’ as she accidentally throws a ketchup bottle across the room, it can be a lot. And I’d imagine that’d only be amplified for the bats.
They’d probably invite over the full family. Like obviously Bruce and Alfred would be there. And the five Robins (I will always count Duke as a robin even if canon doesn’t, and yes Ik leading the ‘we are robin’ movement is different but shush he’s earned it). And the batgirls. Of course Kate will come and she’ll bring Reneé. No matter what terms Bruce and Selina are on, Selina always goes to support her kids (she will fight anyone who says they aren’t hers). And since Reneé and Selina come the other partners are coming. In my mind this means Wally, Roy, and Kon. Kon is dropped of by Clark, who relents to Jon’s constant begging and ends up staying for an hour with his sons. Bart runs over a few times, each time Barry is close behind making him leave. Cassie and Cissie drop by for a bit, and are later picked up by Diana, Oliver, and Dinah. Oliver and Dinah leave with Cissie after chatting for a bit. Diana and Cassie end up staying (because Jason has surprisingly good puppy dog eyes). And Donna ends up coming. Dick decides to invite his new friend Lucas (aka Midnighter) who of course brings Andrew (aka Apollo). They also invite Zatanna who brings Constantine (he, Jason, and Roy get along like fire and gasoline). Harley and Ivy show up, both invited by one of the Robins, which one is still up for debate. And honestly the guests keep coming. All in civvies and all in high spirits. It’s chaotic but somehow manageable. That is until Bruce’s extended family arrives. That’s when suddenly all of the ‘I am a hero who regularly saves the world’ turns into ‘oh fuck gotta be normal’.
The first ‘error’ comes when Constantine tries to talk about his love life with Bruce’s usually quiet great, great aunt Hilda. Because apparently Hilda has interesting responses to things like “he was a real shark in the sheets” and “you can only imagine the hate sex you have after the demon you sent to hell gets out”. That response being “You think that’s intense? Have you ever bought an entire cruise ship and 200 pounds of cake for your book club?” (Constantine later joins that book club). That night Bruce learns that sweet aunt Hilda has rather unique interests.
The second ‘error’ is leaving Steph and Tim in charge of the younger cousins. Because they end up starting a cult. On accident of course.
‘Error’ number 3 is letting Lucas and Clark speak to great uncle Joey who is apparently homophobic. That ends in Lucas locking Joey in a closet. According to Lucas it’s symbolic, Andrew says it’s childish but still supports his partner.
‘Error’ 4 is letting Bart speak to the oldest family member, Aunt Edna. She ends up adoring Bart and giving him tons of cookies, this leads to a speedster on a sugar high. Kon and Cassie spend most of their day trying to keep Barts identity a secret, they ask Tim for help but he’s busy leading his new followers. Edna quickly realizes that Bart is a speedster but she doesn’t care/say anything, she finds him adorable.
‘Error’ 5 is leaving Jason and Diana unsupervised. They create an hour long PowerPoint on the Odyssey. A PowerPoint that they present before dinner.
But the biggest error is not locking up Damian’s sword. The sword that he and Jon use to play a blood pressure raising game of sword tag with and that they use to cut everything. At one point they even use it to cut butter. Bruce is not amused. Jon is very amused.

Of Love and Sunlight - Part 01
I’m cleaning my maribat folder, so have another thing I wrote and never got around to post. There will be three parts, but the last one hasn’t been written yet, so you’ll get it eventually.
Hope you all like it!
Tittles are adapted from Sunlight by Hozier, because I love this song and I didn’t have any idea how to name this series.
I apologize for any spelling or grammar errors, English is not my first language. I hope it’s still intelligible.

A buried and burning flame
.
Marinette meets Damian first.
She’s been apprenticing under Audrey Bourgeois for a couple years when she finally gets around to take a business class. She’s determined to build her own fashion business and working under the Style Queen has only reinforced her desire to be in charge of her own brand.
The fashion world is cutthroat, she couldn’t afford to decline Audrey Bourgeois’ apprenticeship offer, but she has had enough of the Bourgeois to last her a lifetime. And now that Chloe has graduated, she’s more often than not in New York with her mom and dealing with two Bourgeois in one day is more than Marinette is willing to do. She endures for now, but the moment she can, she’s running away and never looking back.
It may happen sooner than she had planned actually, because her customer base has been growing steadily since she was fifteen thanks to Jagged and apprenticing under Audrey has made the quality of her work increased exponentially. Even when the apprenticeship ends, Marinette won’t be left adrift. She has commissions planned for the next few months and her portfolio has never look so perfect.
The only thing she really needs now is a solid plan to build her business into a proper fashion house. She wants to see MDC amongst the Big Names of Fashion. So, a business course, no matter how boring it may seem, is what she needs.
Marinette doesn’t realize who she’s sitting next to until two girls cornered her just as she’s about to sit down, a month into the course.
“Aren’t you tired of keeping him for yourself? He’s obviously not interested!” The blond one sneers.
Marinette blinks up at her, distracted from the flower design she was slowly mapping for her next dress. The blond reminds her far too much of Chloe and Marinette already feels a headache building.
“Who?” She asks, nonetheless.
“Damian Wayne!” The brunette hisses, sounding almost scandalized that Marinette has to ask.
Marinette blinks again. She’s going to have to disappoint the poor girl again, because she has absolutely no clue who they’re talking about.
“Who?” She repeats.
“Me,” someone says from behind the two girls, making them jump in surprise before they swirl around with a look close to horror.
“Be gone,” he says in such a cold voice that Marinette almost feels bad for the girls. Almost. All her patience is spent dealing with Chloe and Audrey, she has none left for Chloe wannabes.
The two girls disappeared to the other side of the amphitheater without another backward glance.
The young man with exquisite bone structure, warm brown skin and green eyes who just talked, takes the seat next to her looking quite bored with the whole drama.
Marinette had noticed that he was beautiful weeks ago and that she wouldn’t mind dressing him up if ever given the chance, but again, she had far too much going in her life to really take the time to ogle her table neighbor.
“You’re famous?” She blurts out. She can see it, he’s the kind of handsome that people love to see on tabloid covers. With broad shoulders, a slim waist, and legs for days, he’s the kind of man Marinette wishes she could afford to model for her. She unfortunately doesn’t quite have the means for a professional photo shoot yet.
“Of a sort,” Damian answers coolly. He hesitates a second, before continuing. “My father is Bruce Wayne.”
It takes Marinette a minute to place it.
“Oh right! From Wayne Enterprise, in Gotham, right?” She smiles and offers her hand. “It’s nice to meet you. I’m Marinette.”
“Charmed,” he replies, shaking her hand firmly, before purposefully turning to face the front of the class and ignoring her.
Marinette internally shrugs. If he doesn’t want to be friend, she’s not going to force the issue. She has already enough famous people to deal with. She doesn’t need to add another one who is not even interested.
Opening her sketch pad to a new page, she goes back to mapping the flower design she was imagining before she was interrupted.
.
In the following weeks, Marinette realizes that she may have been wrong about her assessment of Damian Wayne.
Once she has proven she isn’t going to schmooze up to him, she’s apparently been placed in the category of friendly acquaintances. In no time at all, he knows she’s taking the business course in order to build her own fashion empire, that she’s apprenticing under the Style Queen and that she personally knows plenty of famous people like Jagged Stone, Clara Nightingale, or even Prince Ali of Achu, and she’s not counting all the other celebrities she had never met but who have commissioned her through Jagged, so Bruce Wayne’s son isn’t all that impressive to her.
The fact that she hadn’t recognized him seems to both pleased him and disgruntled him in equal measures.
But for all the things Damian has managed to weaseled out of her, she still doesn’t know him all that much, so she takes the initiative to invite him out.
“Uncle J is playing the Madison Square Garden in two weeks and asked me how many tickets I wanted, do you want to come?”
Damian actually looks surprise at her invitation.
“I am already romantically involved with someone,” he tells her a bit stiffly, his eyes burning into her own and daring her to say anything about it. Too bad for him, Marinette has faced far scarier things than her classmate.
“I’d love to meet them! Should I ask Jagged for three tickets?” She asks with a bright smile.
Damian visibly deflates at her question, before nodding.
“Yes, please, Marinette. Jon will probably cry if he learns I let go of the opportunity to attend a Jagged Stone concert.”
“Great!” She exclaims, taking out her phone to text her honorary uncle. “So, his name is Jon? How long have you two been together?”
“Two years. But I’ve known him since we were eleven.”
Marinette has to bite her bottom lip to resist the urge to coo. Damian wouldn’t like that. At all.
.
Jon, when Marinette meets him the day of the concert, is nothing like she imagined. He reminds her an overexcited puppy who is so sweet and in love with Damian, it’s enough to give her cavities. Damian, on the other hand, has never looked so soft than when he’s holding hand with his boyfriend.
By the end of the concert, Marinette has both Jon’s and Damian’s phone numbers added to her small list of contacts and Jon has invited her to join the both of them on their expedition to try all the restaurants in New York. Yes, all the restaurants of New York City.
But even though Marinette is going to end up third-wheeling their dates, she can’t find the strength to say no. She doesn’t really have friends in New York, and she misses that. Even Damian, looking soft and warm, tells her he’d like if she’d come, and really what can she do but accept?

What’s Lost is Found - Batfamily Imagine - Part Nine
Tumblr media
Warning - Depressive Thoughts, Angst Content
Part One  Part Two  Part Three Part Four  Part Five  Part Six  Part Six.Five  Part Seven  Part Eight   Part Ten  Part Eleven
Requested by Anon -  I really love the batdad concept,it's so cute! I was just wondering, are we going to have some flashbacks of Bruce being a dad to (y/n) in What's Lost is Found?
***
“We’re here,” Jon whispered as he dropped out of the clouds to fly low. Your heart skipped a beat when you took your face out of his neck to see the manor again. A wave of joy and relief washed over you. Home.
“You know the secret entrance to the cave, right?” You pointed down at a rock by the lake.
Jon hummed, flying toward it. “Yeah, it’s how I met Damian back when we used to hang out.” You tightened your arms around his neck as he hit the rock at full speed. The two of you went through it and flew down a dark tunnel. “I remember when Damian first told me about the holographic rock. I didn’t believe him.”
“Oh, I know.” You laughed despite everything. “We made fun of you through the camera as you poked at it before you toppled down the tunnel.”
Jon smiled for the first time since you left prom. “I figured.” He sobered once he got to the end of the tunnel and flew into the cave. Much to your surprise, the lights were on. The batcomputer running data. Someone sat in the batcomputer’s chair. Your heart went into your throat, thinking it was your dad for a moment before you told yourself it wasn’t.
The person in the chair turned when Jon landed behind them. “Oh, Mx. Wayne,” Lucius said, blinking in surprise. He frowned at Jon. You tried to get out of Jon’s arms, but he wouldn’t let you go.
“Jon, it’s Lucius. It’s fine,” you whispered in his ear. He relaxed and set you on your feet. “Hi, Lucius. What’s happening?” You went over to the computer, frowning at the footage from across the city.
Lucius turned back to the computer. “Well, the city is under siege.” He brought up security video from Wayne Tower. A figure you knew led in a group of mercenaries. Your heart stopped at the sight.
“Is that Bane?” Jon caught you before your knees gave out.
“We’re not sure. Batgirl is working to get a confirmation.” Lucius gave you a look of concern. “I was under the impression you were retired, Mx. Wayne.”
“Not now.” You swallowed hard. “Did you call in the Justice League?”
Lucius pursed his lips. “No, there appears to be a number of disasters around the world. The Justice League has their hands full.” You pulled away from Jon and went to the computer.
“This was set up.” You frowned, accessing the second keyboard on the batcomputer. “There is no way all this could happen at once.”
Jon pressed close to your back, hovering rather protectively. “You don’t know that.”
You glared at him to back off, but he stayed where he was. “There was a breakout at Stryker's Island and Blackgate. An earthquake in Peru and Japan. Plus there is a terrorist attack in Atlantis. All this on top of Gotham under siege. This is not a coincidence.”
Lucius hummed. “You are very much like your father, Mx. Wayne.” He frowned at the computer, bringing up footage of Gotham General Hospital. A tank-like batmobile crashed through the soldiers’ blockade around the hospital. Damian jumped out of one of the hospital’s windows and glided down into the batmobile. You relaxed, knowing he was safe.
“Your design?” You pointed at the batmobile.
“Yes, your father requested it before...well.” Lucius folded his hands, smiling as Damian drove off. Jon breathed down your neck. His arm wrapped around your waist. Irritation build up inside, but you ignored it.
“I’m surprised you’re here in the cave, Lucius. We closed it up.” You flipped through the other footage, trying to get a better view of Bane-looking figure. Jon’s arm tightened enough to hurt. You put your hand on his. He relaxed.
“I was evacuated here along with some of our...more sensitive projects when we received intelligence about the siege.” Lucius frowned, bringing up the police scanner. “Oh dear.”
“We got 10-71 on 45th and 3rd. Gotham Gazette is on fire.” The police scanner beeped as another voice cut off the first. “10-72. Firefighters are trapped in the building by a 10-32.”
You pulled away from Jon. “Is anyone able to help them?”
Lucius shook his head. “No, Batman, Red Hood, and Batwoman are on the docks stopping more soldiers from entering the city. Red Robin and Spoiler are defending the police station. Batgirl is trailing the Bane lookalike. Orphan, Bluebird, and Signal are preventing Two Face’s bank robberies. Huntress, Batwing, Starfire, and Nightwing are MIA.”
“What?” Your blood ran cold. Jon’s arm tightened around your waist again. “Dick and Kori are here?!”
Lucius nodded. “Yes, we lost track of them two hours ago after they went to stop the Penguin’s gun smuggling ring.” He got to his feet.
“We have to go.” You turned to look at Jon. Jon’s eyes were wide. He shook his head. “Jon, we have to go. They need us.”
“No, this is too dangerous. We know this is all because of you. They’re doing this to get you.” Jon cupped your cheek, looking you in the eye. He was more serious than you ever seen him before. For the first time, you couldn’t see the puppy dog elements that you loved about him.
You shook your head, pulling away from him. “So what? People need help.” You headed over to the display case that held Jason’s Robin suit. “I’ll use this since my suit doesn’t fit anymore.”
“You won’t have to do that, Mx. Wayne,” Lucius said. You looked back at him in surprise. He smiled and gestured over to a huge case next to the batcomputer. The Wayne Tech logo made your heart skip a beat. “I have something for you. Consider it a graduation gift if you will.”
“(Y/N).” Jon grabbed your arm as you headed over to the case. “Please. We have to stay out of this.”
“Do you know something I don’t?” You spun to him. Rage sparked in your heart again. “Because my family is out there in danger! We have to help them!”
Jon sighed deeply. “Fine.” He closed his eyes. You pulled your arm away from him, wondering if your relationship with Jon will ever be the same again. Tears burned your eyes, but you focused on what was important. You pressed your hand against the bioreader of the case. It beeped, registering your name and opening to reveal a brand new high tech Robin suit.
It took your breath away. “Oh my.”
Lucius chuckled. “Get ready, Mx. Wayne. We need you out there.” You timidly took the suit out, feeling the armor and tech. It was the suit you always dreamed of. You turned to go to the changing area, brushing against Jon as you past him.
“(Y/N).” Jon followed you into the changing room. You sighed, undressing even though he was there. He fell silent, blushing and turning his back to you.  He took off his shirt, revealing his Superboy suit underneath.
“I can’t believe you didn’t tell me about anything of this,” you hissed, slipping on the suit. It was like a second skin. The tech turned on at your biological signature. You put the mask on, finding it suddenly connected to the batcomputer.
Jon groaned, spinning to face you in his full Superboy suit. “I couldn’t. This is so much bigger than we thought. I didn’t even know about all this until just before prom and that’s only because it was decided you would stay with us longer.”
Your hands clenched into fists. Rage ate you alive along with the worry for your family. Dick and Kori were MIA. You knew they could take care of themselves, but why did you have to cause all this? Why did you kill Bane? Why did your father have to die? “I can’t talk about this now. We have to go. Those firefighters need our help.” You marched out of the changing room.
“As you can tell, the suit is connected to the batcomputer. It also increases your strength and agility.” Lucius smiled at you in the suit with pride. “I would give you more detailed instructions, but we need you to learn as you go.”
You nodded. “Wouldn’t have it any other way.” You turned to Jon. He pursed his lips and picked you up in his arms.
“Keep your comlink on, Mx. Wayne.” A trace of concern crossed Lucius’ face. “We can’t lose contact with anyone else.”
“They won’t,” Jon answered for you as he flew into the air. You stayed tense in his arms, wondering if you should have trusted Jon. A lump formed in your throat. You pushed that aside. Jon flew out of the cave and straight toward the war-torn city.
***
You helped the firefighter to his feet. “Robin, where have you been?” he gasped as flames ate up the floor below you.
“Around.” You half-carried him to the window. Jon appeared, taking the firefighter from you.
“Get out of the building. It’s not stable.” Lucius’ voice filled your ear. Jon floated the firefighter down after giving you a warning look.
“Can’t. One more inside.” You looked up, seeing the heartbeat through your mask’s bio-vision. The suit was amazing. You felt more alive than you had in a long time.
Rolling out of the way of falling debris, you flipped your way up through the hole in the ceiling. “Help.” A weak voice came from the stairwell. You wandered over, putting in your rebreather to help with the smoke. It was thicker up here.
You opened the door to the stairwell only to see a blast of flames hurling toward you. Jumping out of the way, you heard a chilling laugh. “Come on out, Robin,” a male voice shouted. Your mask identified the voice as the Human Flame. “Let me burn you up. Give me that million.” You took out a freeze grenade and threw it around the corner.
“Don’t you hate Martian Manhunter? Why are you even in Gotham?” You smiled when you heard him howl. Moving so fast to the point where you thought you were flying, you ran around the corner and kicked him hard in the face. He grunted. The ice that formed around him shattered. He slammed into the wall. “Woah.” You laughed, flexing your arm in the suit. “This is so cool.”
Suddenly, an arm wrapped around your waist and you really were flying. “The building is coming down and you are just hanging out in here?” Jon grumbled in your ear. He picked up the Human Flame by the scruff of his costume and carried you both outside. He dropped the Human Flame by one of the cop cars.
“I thought it was another firefighter.” You wrapped your arms around his neck. “That was exhilarating.”
“Mx. Wayne, we lost contact with Batman. His last location was at northeast end of the docks,” Lucius said. Your blood ran cold.
“Are you sure we’re ready to let Damian know we’re here?” Jon looked nervous as he flew toward the docks when you pointed in the right direction.
You snorted, pretending your hands weren’t shaking. “He probably already knows we’re here.” A high pitch whistle filled the air. You looked over Jon’s shoulder to see a missile coming toward you. “Jon!”
Jon dropped you, taking the hit. The explosion sent you soaring to the ground. You pulled out your grapple gun, flipping through the air before firing it at a nearby roof. It took the impact as you rolled into your landing. Jon went flying, crashing into the street a block away.
You sprinted down the street toward Jon only for bright headlights to suddenly beam from behind you. Going off instinct, you rolled into an alleyway as brakes squealed to a stop. You blinked at the tank-like batmoblie. Batman hopped out. You felt sick, reminding yourself that wasn’t your father.
“TT.” He marched to you. “This is not the time for some simpleton to dress like Robin.”
“I’m not a simpleton and I can’t believe you talk like that when you’re Batman. Who will be scared of you?” you retorted, smiling at the shock on his face.
“(Y/N), go home.” He grabbed your arm. “This is a big enough disaster without you making it worse.”
You yanked your arm out of his grasp. “Shut up.” He narrowed his eyes at you. “I made this mess, so I have to help clean it up.”
“Ouch,” Jon groaned, appearing at the opening of the alleyway with a limp. “You okay, Robin?” He came to your side. Damian eyed him.
“You brought them here, Superboy?” Damian snarled. It was almost like they were never friends in the first place. Jon bit his lip nervously, keeping his eyes on you. “You idiot, don’t you understand?! This is what they want! You think that missile was a mistake!”
You swallowed hard. “Why was your comlink off?” You crossed your arms, pushing aside your anger and frustration. “We were sent to look for you.”
“Fox.” Damian growled. “He gave you that suit too, didn’t he?” Damian tried to grab your arm again. You stepped out of his reach.
“He said Nightwing and Starfire are MIA.” Jon wrapped an arm around your waist. Damian stared at Jon’s arm before glaring darkly at Jon. To his credit, Jon scowled right back at him.
“Yes, I was about to investigate before you dropped in front of my car.” Damian  yanked you away from Jon. “Keep your hands to yourself, Superboy.”
Jon growled. “Robin and I have been dating for quite some time. I have a right to touch them if they want me to.”
The pure fury on Damian’s face was priceless. If this wasn’t happening in the middle of a war-zone, you would have enjoyed it more. “Nightwing and Starfire,” you said, stepping between the two men. “We have to go find them now.”
“Fine.” Damian’s grip tightened on your arm. He pulled you toward the tank-like batmobile. “You’re coming with me and you’re going to stay in the batmobile. Do you understand?”
Jon trailed behind you before flying into the air. You hopped into the batmobile. “I’m not staying in here. You need backup, Damian.” The comlink button was off. You switched it back on.
“Oh good, Mr. Wayne. Welcome back into the fold,” Lucius said sarcastically. Damian hopped in beside you.
“TT, some people don’t need your sarcasm, Fox.” Damian glared at you as the batmobile sealed and took off toward the Iceberg lounge.
Lucius hummed. “Mr. Pennyworth called. He is in Smallville and discovered Mx. Wayne and Mr. Kent have disappeared from their prom. I informed him that they were here.”
Damian’s eyes shot to you at the word ‘prom’. You did your best not to look at him. “Tell him we’re sorry, but this is something I have to do,” you said, pursing your lips. You glanced up to see Jon flying above the batmobile.
“Of course.” Lucius’ voice clicked off.
“Prom? You went to prom with him?” Damian glanced at you. His hands gripped the steering wheel tightly. “Are you dating him?”
“Yes, if you must know.” You crossed your arms.
Damian frowned. “Has he...have you and him....?”
You snorted. “Why do you care? I’m just the one who tarnished our father’s legacy.”
Damian slammed on the batmobile’s brakes, sliding to a stop. “You did.” He glared at you. “I will let you back me up, but you have to do everything I say and you are to go home with Grayson once we find him.”
You nodded, not trusting yourself to answer out loud. A tear slipped out of your mask. You quickly wiped it away with your hand. Damian noticed. He grunted, hopping out of the batmobile.
Jon landed beside the car, offering you a hand. “You okay?” Jon whispered, eyeing Damian.
“It’s fine.” You let Jon take your hand as you both trailed after Damian. Damian glared up at the Iceberg Lounge.
“Why is (Y/N) here?” Tim demanded, landing next to Damian with Steph behind him.
“It’s going to be like this all night, isn’t it?” you said to Jon. Jon nodded, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. Steph raised an eyebrow at the sight. Tim just frowned.
Someone landed behind you. “All I know is that Dick is going to kill us all, and Superboy is going to get castrated for sure,” Jason chuckled, walking up to join the others.
Jon shifted uncomfortably. “Stop it.” You glared at the others. “Can we just focus on saving Nightwing and Starfire please?”
“Huntress and Batwing escaped and reported in. Apparently, the Penguin hired Deathstroke.” Tim worked on his wrist computer. “And they’re waiting for us to take the bait.”
“Then we go.” You started toward the building, but Jon held you back.
“No, you don’t.” Damian gripped your shoulder, pulling you away from Jon. “This is a trap for you. I bet they’re trying to collect the bounty on your head.”
You narrowed your eyes, swallowing the rock in your throat. “That’s Dick in there, Damian.”
Damian glared back at you. “No, you’re not going in,” Tim said, stepping up to glower at you too. “You caused this mess. Stay out of it and let us fix it.” Your heart ached when you saw the strain Tim was under. Guilt dropped your stomach to your feet. He never used to be this stressed or mean.
“(Y/N) stays.” Jason stepped between you and Tim. “They have to do this.”
“Jason, I know you’re the reason they’re here. You texted them that you left, knowing they would follow.” Tim leaned in close, staring straight into the lenses of Jason’s helmet. “I hacked your phone, because I knew you’d pull some shit like this.”
“Watch it, Timbo.” Jason’s hands clenched into fists. “I can still beat you within a inch of your life.”
You were going to push your way between them, but Steph beat you to it. “Enough. Oh my god, stop this stupid pissing contest. We got family in danger in there.” She scowled at Jason then Tim. Tim blushed, looking away. Jason snorted. “Let’s shape up. Make a plan. Get them out alive and then we’ll argue.” Steph looked at you and Jon. Damian’s hand tightened on your shoulder. “Robin and Superboy come with us.” Steph looked at each of your brothers. “Is that understood?”
All three grumbled. “Wow,” Jon mumbled, sneaking back to your side when Damian wasn’t looking. “She’s tough.”
“She was Robin once too, you know.” You tensed as Tim went into a plan to rescue Dick and Kori.
***
“Irresponsible,” Tim grumbled as he crawled in the vent ahead of you. “Dumb. Childish.” You wished Steph had been sent with you to shut him up. However, it was just you and Tim.
Jason and Jon were going through the front door, creating a distraction and taking down whatever goons the Penguin had ready. Damian and Steph were coming up from under the Iceberg Lounge. You and Tim got stuck with the vents. Your worry for Dick and Kori plus Tim’s verbal abuse made you want to scream and break a few bones. However, you decided to be the bigger person your father would want you to be.
“This is all Dick’s fault. His stupid hardheadedness had to rub off on you. He refused to put you into stasis like I told him.” Tim kept mumbling. You froze at the stasis part. He was an completely different person than the Tim you remembered. Did you really force him to change that much?
“Wow, thanks Tim. I didn’t realize how much you and Damian were alike.” Tim flinched at your words. You smiled sadly, missing the brother who showed you cartoons and always listened to you. Your heart broke at the fact you did this. By killing Bane, you made Tim into this malicious man.
Tim slipped out of the vent into a store room. He held his arms up to help you down, but you ignore him, dropping down on your own. Tim sighed. “You don’t understand,” Tim said, guilt flashed in his eyes. “(Y/N), you started a war. You broke Batman’s code and it started a chain reaction. I mean we would have had some conflict due to Batman’s...” He swallowed hard, unable to say death. You wondered if Tim hadn’t processed your father’s death yet. Poor Tim, maybe he didn’t have a chance to grieve yet because of the mess you made. “But we wouldn’t have had this if you didn’t kill Bane.”
“But Bane might still be alive. I saw him in the cameras.” You brought up the footage on your wrist computer. Tim blinked at the footage.
“That’s not him.” Tim turned away. He hooked up his wrist computer to the computer panel next to the door and hacked it.
“How do you know? Mr. Fox said Batgirl was investigating it.” You followed, taking in everything he did. A boom sounded somewhere in the building. You flinched, hoping that it was just part of Jon and Jason’s distraction.
Tim fixed you with a icy glare. “I’ve been gathering intel for almost a year. I know who it is.” You nodded for him to keep talking, but he fell silent.
“Seriously?” You punched his arm.
“What?” Tim hacked away on his wrist computer.
“Who is it?” Your voice became dangerously low. Tim looked back at you.
“You don’t need to know.” He caught your fist before you could hit him again. “You’re only here to help us rescue Nightwing and Starfire, then you’re out of this. I’ll put you in stasis if I have to. I don’t care what Dick says.”
A frown pulled at your lips. Your eyes filled with tears. You quickly turned away from him, so he wouldn’t see. Curse your emotions, probably another thing that Dick rubbed off on you. A stony silence fell between you and Tim as he hacked away.
“I should have known I’d find you two here,” Dick’s voice said from behind you. You and Tim jumped in surprise. Tim grabbed your arm and stepped in front of you protectively.
Your heart skipped a beat as you studied Dick in his Nightwing costume. Tim tensed. “I thought you were being held in the Penguin's office?” Tim asked, squeezing your arm in a secret signal your father had taught you. ‘Danger.’
“Escaped. It’s what I do best.” Dick leaned over to peek at you. “Hey Robbie, nice to see you.” It felt wrong. A shiver ran up your spine.
“Right, I forgot.” Tim forced a smile on his face. He squeezed your arm again, another signal. ‘Dodge and run.’ “Hey, just so I know, when did we first meet?”
The wrong Dick frowned. “Why are you asking me that? Don’t you know me, Red?”
“No reason.” In one quick motion, you dived out of the way as Tim threw a electrified batarang at the wrong Dick. Dick screamed before dissolving into a pile of clay on the floor. Clayface emerged into his true form. You dashed out of the room, barely avoiding Clayface’s arm that tried to grab at you.
You sprinted down the hall, sliding to trip a guard when he burst out of one of the doors. Clayface and Tim crashed out into the hallway. “Robin, run,” Tim ordered, dodging Clayface’s foot.
“Going.” You kept running, bursting through the door onto the main stage of the iceberg lounge. It was dark. Your mask switched to night vision. You avoided the instruments. Suddenly, a spotlight clicked on and you were blinded. Something hit you from behind. You fell to the ground, all the breath forced out of you.
“There you are.” Your mask rebooted itself and identified the voice as Deathstroke. A foot pressed on your back, holding you down. “So easy. Your father would be disappointed.”
A ice cold shiver went down your spine. Hot, blistering rage filled you. “Shut up.” You used your suit’s increased strength to throw his foot off your back and rolled to your feet.
Deathstroke grunted in surprise before pulling out his sword. “Let’s see how much of a disappointment you are.”
You narrowed your eyes. Taking a deep breath, you relaxed into a fighting stance. Deathstroke zoomed toward you.
It was a long, hard fight. He got you several times with his sword, but you got a few hits in to startle him away before the sword could sink into you. You knew you wouldn’t last long.
Deathstroke kicked you off the stage. You landed hard on your arm. The bone snapped. You screamed, rolling away as Deathstroke jumped to stab you. The sword missed you by inches.
“You’re good, but not good enough.” Deathstroke laughed, suddenly kneeling on your chest. You gasped, crushed beneath him. Your good arm smacked at him, but he didn’t react. “I could use you. Train you to be better.” He reached down to run a hand through your hair. “Like I did to Terra.”
“Fuck you.” You choked. Deathstroke snarled, slapping your face hard. Blood filled your mouth.
You prepared yourself for the worse, remembering everything your father told you about Deathstroke.
A sharp cry of rage echoed through the room. Deathstroke was slammed off your chest by a black and blue blur. You took a deep breath, wincing at the pain in your ribs. Some of them were broken.
You forced yourself up to see Nightwing punching Deathstroke over and over again. “Never ever touch my kid! You hear me!”
“Di...Nightwing, stop,” you whispered, unable to breathe enough air. “You’re going to kill him.”
Dick stopped. Deathstroke laid on the floor limply. Dick got to his feet and ran to your side. “Hush, baby. I’m here.” His hand ran through your hair, inspecting you. “I don’t know how you’re here and why you are in a Robin suit, but we’ll talk about that later.” You tried to relax, but you were in too much pain. “Your arm’s broken. God, those cuts are going to need stitches.”
A wave of suspicious came over you. Clayface’s version of Dick flashed before your eyes. “When did I first taste popcorn?”
He frowned slightly. “Honey, how hard did you hit your head?”
“Answer me.” You growled.
Dick sighed, glancing around. “It was the first time you went to the movies. I took you.” He smiled. “You were so cute, licking it first before finally putting it in your mouth.”
You relaxed. “Oh, it’s you for real this time.” Dick helped you to your feet. “Where’s Kori?”
Dick frowned. “I don’t know. I was looking for her when I heard you scream.” He wrapped his arm around your shoulders. You held your arm, hissing from the pain. “This was a setup. The whole thing.”
“It’s all my fault.” You shivered. Dick led you out of the main lounge.
“No, it’s not. Let’s just get you out of here.” Dick threw a batarang at a goon that came around the corner. “Are you alone here?”
Almost on cue, the wall in front of the two of you exploded. Dick knocked you down as Jon flew past you and crashed back into the main lounge. You groaned, black swarmed your vision as you struggled to breathe. Your ribs and arm were on fire from Dick’s weight.
“Of course, Superboy brought you. I’ll kill him,” Dick grumbled, getting off you quickly. “Sorry, honey. Just hold on for me.”
“(Y/N).” Jon crawled to your side. Blood ran down his face from a cut on his forehead.
“What happened to you?” You forgot about your own pain, reaching up to wipe some of the blood out of his eyes.
Jon winced. “Metallo.”
Dick glared at Jon. “Get Robin out of here.” He looked you in the eye. “Stay at the cave with Jon. We’ll see you soon.” Dick kissed your forehead before going to join the fight. Jon picked you up.
“We can’t go. Kori.” You panted. Jon’s arms put painful pressure on your broken ribs. “Damn it.”
“Sorry.” Jon set you on your feet. “(Y/N), you’re in no shape to stay.”
You narrowed your eyes at him. “Neither are you.”
He sighed. His shoulders slumped. “I can never win against you, can I?”
A weak smile pulled on your lips. “No.”
Jon snorted. “Come on, my x-ray vision picked up some activity in the basement.” You nodded, holding your arm to your chest as you led Jon to the staircase.
***
The two of you found a metal freezer in the basement. There was a lot of damage outside of the freezer along with unconscious soldiers. “Batman and Spoiler came through here,” you said, eyeing the wounds on the soldiers.
Jon stared at the freezer for a long moment. “Oh no.” He quickly ripped off the door and Kori fell to the floor. You gasped, rushing to her side. Your ribs and arm throbbed, but you ignored it.
She was cold as death. Her orange skin tinted blue. “Please be okay.” You checked for a pulse. It was faint, but still there. You glanced at Kori’s baby bump nervously. “Jon, you have to warm her up now.”
“How?” Jon glanced around in a panic.
You pointed at your eyes. “Heat vision.”
“But I’d burn through her.” Jon shook his head. His eyes were on Kori’s baby bump too.
“You can control it. Warm up the floor around her.” You moved away. Jon nodded. His eyes glowed red as the beams shot out of his eyes and into the floor. The heat soaked into your feet. Your suit sent you a warning, and immediately started cooling you off.
Slowly, Kori’s skin lost the blue tint. She stirred, but didn’t wake up. “Kori,” you whispered. Jon turned off his heat vision. You approached, kneeling down beside her. “Please wake up.” Your eyes filled with tears. “Please.”
Jon’s hand touched your shoulder, making you flinch. Pain racked through your body at the sudden movement. “We have to get her help.”
“Take her to the cave.” You nodded to Kori, getting up. Your broken arm burned in agony. Every breath hurt.
“I’m not leaving you here.” Jon shook his head.
“Jon, we can’t leave Kori here. She’ll be defenseless.” You glared at him. “Take her to the cave.”
Jon sighed. “They’ll kill me for leaving you here. I mean they’re already going to kill me for bringing you here and for not taking you home.”
You grabbed his arm with your good arm. “Please.” Jon looked into your eyes.
“Okay.” He bent down to pick up Kori with some difficulty. “You better be here when I get back.”
“I can’t really move that fast to not be.” You waved for him to fly off. Jon gave you one last look before bursting up through the ceiling until he was out of the building and in the open air.
Alone, you glanced around at the unconscious soldiers. You studied their uniforms. They were mercenaries, but you recognized some of them. Some of them were League of Assassins, others were military trained soldiers. Whoever was wearing the Bane mask pulled a lot of weight. You swallowed hard. Why did you have to cause all this?
The hallway’s temperature dropped suddenly. You heard heavy footsteps coming down the hall. Kneeling behind the freezer, you held your breath. Your mask identified the footsteps as Mr. Freeze.
Staying quiet, you heard him wander around the room. Stupid Deathstroke for breaking your arm. You could take him if you had your arm and ribs intact.
When it finally sounded like he was leaving, you took a deep breath. You hissed in pain at your lungs expanding into your ribs. Suddenly, Mr. Freeze’s footsteps stopped. You cursed yourself. The freezer you hid behind was pushed aside and you came face to face with Mr. Freeze’s freeze gun.
“Robin,” Mr. Freeze said in his robotic voice.  He looked at you with a curious expression. You frowned, ready to dodge. “I did not expect you to be here.”
“Where else would I be?” You stayed where you were, waiting.
Mr. Freeze hummed. He glanced over his shoulder. “Freeze them and we’ll split the reward,” the Penguin said, waddling into the room with his bodyguards behind him.
Dick was going to be so upset. You hoped Jon wouldn’t feel guilty for leaving you here. Closing your eyes, you let go. The end would come. At least you would be with your father. Tears filled your eyes. He’d be so mad you joined him so soon.
The freeze gun went off. However, you didn’t feel the ice overtake you. You opened your eyes to see the Penguin and his bodyguards frozen in a block of ice. “I never did like you,” Mr. Freeze said to the Penguin before turning to you. “I never liked Bane either.” He walked out of the room. You stayed where you were, shocked.
After a few long minutes, you forced yourself to your feet and went upstairs to find the others. The battle had been won. You found the others in the main lounge, handcuffing people and tending to the wounded. Dick frowned when he saw you.
“You’re supposed to be at the cave.” He hurried over to you, taking the first aid kit from Tim and started to splint your arm.
“We found Kori.” Dick froze. “Jon took her back to the cave. She needed help.” You swallowed past a rock in your throat. “I’m so sorry.”
“None of this is your fault, okay?” Dick’s voice trembled. His hands shook.
Tim came over to take over as Dick couldn’t finish the splint. “This is a mess.” He studied you. “I heard you took on Deathstroke.”
“It wasn’t my choice. He jumped me.” You shivered. Tim finished the splint. Sun peeked through the holes of the building. It was already morning.
“The police and National Guard should be here soon. We need to go,” Tim said.
Dick nodded, shaken. “I need to get to Kori.”
“We’ll all regroup at the cave,” Damian said, taking your good arm to pull you with him. “Nightwing, come along.”
You stumbled on debris, falling against Damian. He growled, jerking you upright. Your arm and ribs burned at the movement. Dick followed. He reached over to remove Damian’s hand from your arm. “Stop it.”
“TT.” Damian called the batmobile to him. It drove and stopped in front of him. He hopped in the driver’s seat. Dick helped you into the backseat before taking the passenger’s seat.
“Hang on. I’ll ride with you,” Jason said, running over. He crawled over Dick like a little kid, which was an hilarious sight given that Jason was taller and broader than him. Jason sat down beside you. Tim called over his bike and him and Steph climbed on.
Damian grumbled, driving off. The sunrise was beautiful, but the city was damaged. No people were around. Buildings crumbled, holes in the street, streets signs knocked over, street lights blown up. It was a combat zone. You leaned your head against Jason’s arm. Jason hummed. You closed your eyes, hating that you destroyed everything your father cared about with one choice that you couldn’t even remember making.
***
You laid next to Jon in your old bed at the manor. Alfred had arrived, reopening bedrooms for everyone get to a few hours of rest. Jon wasn’t supposed to be in here, but he slipped in when everyone else was asleep. Now he snored softly with his hand on your arm. There was a bandage on his forehead for the cut he gotten during the fight.
Your body ached. Every breath still hurt even with the pain pills Alfred had forced you to take. Your arm, now in a cast, throbbed away. The cuts from Deathstroke’s sword were stitched up, stinging.
Dick was still in the cave with Kori. He went silent when he saw her under the sun lamp in the cave. She hadn’t woken up yet. No one would tell you if the baby was okay or not.
Unable to stand it any longer, you rolled to your feet. The pain intensified, but you pushed through. You wandered out of your room. A rock formed in your throat when you reached your father’s room. Slowly, you pushed open the door, frowning at it’s lifeless quiet state. Alfred had covered everything in sheets, but that’s it. Your father’s belongings hadn’t been moved.
You pulled off the sheet on the dresser and opened the top drawer. His shirts were neatly folded inside. You picked up a dark blue one and pressed your face into it. It still smelled like him. You relaxed, letting yourself float back into your memories if only for a moment.
***
You were packing your suitcase, knowing the flight back to Gotham was in the morning. Currently, you were in the Wayne Tech’s penthouse located in Paris. Your father and you had traced Magpie there where she had attempted to steal the Regent Diamond from the Louvre. Using the excuse of a business trip, Batman and Robin stopped Magpie while Bruce and (Y/N) supposedly attended business meetings.
“(Y/N)?” Your father appeared in the doorway of your bedroom. He was wearing sweatpants and t-shirt. You remembered he got a phone call from Alfred, who had stayed behind in Gotham. From the tension in your father’s shoulders, Alfred must have scolded him about something.
“Yeah?” You sat down on your bed, swinging your legs playfully.
He sighed. “I forgot again, didn’t I?” He sat down beside you on the bed.
You eyed him, shrugging. “It’s not a big deal, Dad.”
“Yes, it is. Fathers aren’t supposed to forget their kids’ birthday.” Bruce shifted uncomfortably. “Alfred made a suggestion.”
“What? I don’t need anything, Dad. Being in Paris was a nice enough birthday for me.” You smiled, looking out the window at the beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower.
Bruce cleared his throat. “Well, then you’ll be happy to know we’ll be spending an extra two days here then.” Your jaw dropped in shock. Bruce chuckled at the sight. “No patrol, no Batman or Robin. Just you and me and whatever you want to do.”
“Are you serious?” Your heart skipped a beat in excitement. You thought about going to the Louvre and actually getting to look around this time instead of just stopping Magpie. All the food you could try. You licked your lips before hugging Bruce tightly. “Thank you, Dad. This is going to be great!”
“You’re welcome. Happy birthday, (Y/N).” He hugged you back in his strong arms. You felt so loved, so safe.
***
You sobbed, burying your face into the shirt as you sank to your knees. Your body ached, but the pain in your heart was too great for you to stop. Deep down, you knew you would never get to feel that loved and safe again.
Thin, strong arms suddenly hugged you from behind. You tensed as a sharp chin rested on the top of your head. It took you a moment to catch your breath. “Cass?”
She hummed, hugging you tighter. You didn’t know she had come to the manor too. More sobs racked out of your body, hurting your ribs. Cass held you for a long time. Eventually, you stopped crying, exhaustion soaking into your bones. Your father’s shirt was soaked with your tears and snot. Cass guided you to your feet and led you back to your room. She clucked her tongue at Jon in your bed, but ignored him to tuck you in. Your father’s shirt stayed in your hands.
“Sleep.” She patted your cheek before silently leaving the room. Jon’s arm wrapped around your waist to pull you close. His body heat permeated you like sunlight. Your pain faded as you let yourself fall into the blissfulness of sleep.
***
“This is only going to get worst!” Tim’s voice echoed throughout the cave. He, Damian, Jason, Barbara, Steph, Cass, and Duke were in the meeting area. Their debate grew more heated by the second. You shivered on the medbed as Alfred changed the bandages on your cuts.
Alfred frowned. You sighed, wincing when it hurt your ribs. Jon and Lois were having a very tense discussion in the corner. You felt bad for him, but you didn’t regret coming here.
“Mx. (Y/N), take it easy. You are not going out tonight,” Alfred said firmly once he finished.
“Yes, Alfred.” You swallowed hard, getting off the medbed to wander over to the ICU area. Kori was still unconscious and under the sun lamp. Dick sat as close to her as he dared, staring at her with an empty expression. The monitors showed a steady heartbeat. A faint smile crossed your lips when you noticed two heartbeats on the monitors.
You came to Dick’s side. He blinked, wrapped an arm around you. “Hey kiddo,” he whispered. His hand rubbed your side gently. It hurt your ribs, but you didn’t want to say anything.
“Is she okay?” You trembled.
“Her vitals and the baby’s are good, but she hasn’t woken up.” Dick ran his free hand through his hair only to wince from the movement. He had been hurt too. Your stomach twisted, threatening to lose the little food you managed to eat. “This isn’t your fault, honey. I don’t want to hear that from you.” You pursed your lips, tears threatening to fall. Dick kissed your cheek. “I didn’t want you to be part of this.” You wanted to scream. If you hadn’t come, you would be hearing about Kori’s injury about now if not more terrible news. It was three in the afternoon. You probably would have had fun at prom, fell asleep only to wake up to this horror that you caused. How could he be so dumb to try to keep you out of this?
“Shouldn’t you be with the others?” you asked. Dick pulled you to sit in his lap, hugging you tightly. You let him.
“No.” Dick squeezed you, hurting you. You bit your lip to keep from gasping. “We’re not going to be here for much longer.”
“What?” Your jaw dropped, heart skipping a beat.
Dick sighed. “We’re leaving, going home.” He frowned when you pulled away from him. “Don’t fight me on this, sweetheart.”
“We can’t leave.” You choked. The guilt ate you alive. “I caused this. I can’t leave them to deal with this. Tim already hates me, Damian too. I can’t do this to them.”
“I’m not arguing with you on this.” Dick snarled in a way he never had to you before. “We’re going home.” His tone softened. “I have more to lose now.” He patted your arm, but you jerked away from him. “(Y/N).” You left the room, shocked beyond belief. Dick wasn’t who you thought he was.
You stopped outside of the meeting room, listening in. “They said they will stop the siege if we turn Robin over to them,” Barbara said sharply. “Obviously, we’re not going to do that, but maybe we can set up a decoy.”
“TT, no one is small enough to be convincing,” Damian said. A fist slammed into the table.
“Don’t even think about saying we just hand them over! Damn it!” Jason’s voice echoed throughout the cave. You quickly walked away. Your mind swirled, trying to think of a way to fix this.
“You are grounded for life, you hear me,” Lois snapped at Jon as you passed them. Jon looked at the ground, not noticing you.
Going upstairs to the manor, you exited into your father’s study only to be taken back by his giant self portrait on the wall. He hated it, but it was all part of the Brucie image.
“Daddy, I broke everything.” You looked at his eyes, imaging the disappointment that would be there. “I know you said it wasn’t my fault, but everything is going to hell.” You took a deep breath. Your ribs on fire. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry that I killed Bane because Bane killed you.”
Silence followed. You kept staring into his eyes. “What would you do?” Your heart broke. Deep down in your soul, you knew what he would do. Your father was selfless to the upmost degree. Closing your eyes, you let out the breath you didn’t know you were holding. “Okay. It’s time anyway.” You opened your eyes to meet your father’s painted ones. “I have to fix this.” You went over to the desk and got out some paper to write notes for everyone. A final goodbye.
***
It was easy to slip out of the manor. You wore civvies and a plain domino mask, not wanting the high tech suit to fall into the wrong hands. No one noticed you left.
You rode a motorcycle into the city, zipping along. Everything was brighter, more clear than it ever been. You enjoyed everything for the last time.
The Bane lookalike’s headquarters was at Wayne Tower. You parked your bike outside, looking up at it. It took several long moments before the Bane lookalike came out and stood in front of you. Up close, you knew instantly this wasn’t the Bane you killed. He was not tall enough and he didn’t have the grace of a street fighter that Bane had.
“Welcome Robin.” The Bane lookalike smiled. “Finally.”
“Is the deal on?” You narrowed your eyes at him, getting off the bike. Entering the code, you rigged it to explode in two minutes. “If I hand myself over, you’ll leave Gotham alone?”
The Bane lookalike studied you carefully. “Yes.” He gestured for you to come to him. You took a deep breath, your ribs burning. Slowly, you walked over to him. “Good child.” A sharp prick in your neck left you dizzy. You turned to see a ninja with a needle. Your legs gave out. The Bane lookalike caught you. “Now you will pay for what you’ve done.” The last thing you heard was his laughter.

Days that turned into months and eventually years - Pt 2
Pt 1  Next
Being a father, especially a single parent who was also protecting the city in disguise, wasn’t at all what Damian expected it to be. Sure it was tiring, wearisome and frustrating but he couldn’t for the life of him imagine a world without Thomas. His little sunshine brought joy into an apartment that was once a sol dreadful reminder of his lost. Of course there were moments where he wanted to dump it all and move out, but he simply couldn’t bring himself to do so. The vigilante wanted his son to remember his mother and what better way than to grow up being surrounded by her style, inputs and creativity.
Although Damian wouldn’t admit it, he knew that his family and friends were proud of how far he has gotten. For the first few months he attended therapy religiously, trying to work out his emotions and find a sense of peace. Damian desired to be a good father to Thomas, so he decided to first focus on himself. It wasn’t easy to break apart the imaginary barriers, reflect on his childhood and speak freely about his late wife but at last he succeeded. Damian finally found a sense of belonging. But as the saying goes, everything that's good eventually comes to an end. All the months of therapy, years of building and strengthening bonds, and family emotional support nights seemed to slip through his fingers one fateful Saturday afternoon. His reality spiraled down within seconds.
-----
Knock, knock, bang, knock
Damian sighs as he gets up to open the door, he tried ignoring the knocking, he really did but it just got louder and louder each time. Ugg it’s not even six yet, I am gonna strangle the first person I see in my doorstep. This better be important. Yep Damian is still Demon Spawn especially when he gets irritated.
Reaching out and barely twisting the handle, the whole door slams open. Wide and behold, Adrien is standing in his full glory jumping as a sick puppy.
“It’s not even six yet what are you doing in my apartment at this time of day?!”
“I came early, you needed someone to babysit Tommy and who better than his favorite uncle.”
“I doubt that you are his favorite.”
“I claim otherwise”
“Fine, there is no point of arguing with a lunatic”
“Hey!”
Damian ignored one of his best friends and with a slight smile started walking towards the kitchen. He truly was a 5 year old hyper kid stuck in a 25 year old body. No wonder Thomas and Adrien both got along so easily. Till this day he still shudders at the memory of them destroying the kitchen after a food fight broke out.
“You know that my fight is at 5 right?”
“Yep. I thought you might need some extra time to get prepared.” They both understood the silent message behind those words. This was going to be the first time he traveled outside of the county without Thomas and after what happened all those years back he was afraid of leaving him behind.
Now that Damian thought about it he really needed the extra time to himself, to simply finish packing and organizing his thoughts. He releases out a low “Thanks.”
“Hey Damian, you know fully well that Thomas will be safe with me. Have I ever disappointed you?”
Looking up Damian saw Adrien’s gentle simile and opened arms.  “Well that's debatable but I know that you are always here for me, what will make this time any different.”
Out of nowhere a tiny black blur zoomed directly in front of his face.
“How dare you guys forget about me! I am hurt” The god of destruction placed his tiny hand in front of his heart, putting on a pained expression. “I would be the first one to cataclysm anyone who dares to touch a hair on my kitten. You ungrateful humans.”
“Plagg!! Get your little self over here and stop bothering them!” Tikki yelled from across the room.
“Nope. I am not moving anywhere until I receive the recognition I deserve. Not even your demands will change my mind Sugarcube” Tikki stared at his response grumbling “We went over this like a thousand times. Stop calling me Sugarcube!”
With a satisfied smile, which quickly changed back into a stubborn expression, Plagg replied “never” as he returned back to eyeing Damian.
“Plagg, of course I trust you more than anyone to protect Thomas but how should I say this … umm your powers aren’t always the most stable.”
Both Tikki and Adrien were stifling a laugh. Of course you can count on Damian to put down Plagg.
The god of destruction just huffed and flew towards the refrigerator, opening it to reveal a pile of cheese. “Oh my sweet delicious camembert!”
“Don't eat all of it. That's all you are getting during our stay here.”
Plagg glared, “Try me.”
Before Adrien could respond he heard a huge gasp and was knocked out of his chair.
“Uncle Sunshine! You are here.” The five and a half year old exclaimed as he jumped on top of Adrien.
Ruffling Thomas’s hair, the former model chuckled. “Hey cupcake. Where did you come up with that ridiculous nickname?”
“Plagg told me that it was one of your favorite names growing up”
“Plagg!!”
Damian decided to just lean back and enjoy the bantering. He was content in watching Plagg’s and Adrien’s antics while hearing Thomas’ giggles fill the apartment. After Marinette’s disappearance he was left as the next in line to become the guardian, as the kwamis took a liking to him and he in return accepted the new responsibility. Following and learning from Marinette’s way of balancing her hero, guardian and daily life, he allowed the holders to continue keeping their representative kwamis. After all, even though Hawkmoth was defeated crimes still arose in the city of love, allowing Luka, Chloé and Kagami to roam the skies. Two years ago, Adrien moved permanently to Gotham to live with his boyfriend, Jon. He graduated with a master’s degree in teaching, patrols the nights constantly and helps out in several missions under a new persona. The Waynes agreed that Chat Noir shouldn’t be seen out in the most crime filled city with the lurking danger of people trying to get their hands on the miraculous. Of course Adrien still transforms, as the suit does give him extra protection but now he carries a green-black cape at all times, covering his bodysuit.
-----------
It was mid-afternoon when Damian finally landed at his destination in Europe. He could have used Kaalki to teleport himself within seconds but he still wasn't used the idea of transforming and nevertheless using a kwami. Sure he was the guardian and he didn't hold any grudges but he just felt more comfortable in leaving the transformations to the professionals while simply taking care of the tiny creatures.
He was still confused as to why the head leader of the Dobronski billionaire company wanted to specifically speak with him. Sure he became the CEO of the Waynes business at the early age of nineteen and had a vast amount of experience under his belt but the same could be said about his adopted brothers. Why not ask them to come and discuss the final details of the deal? Damian was frustrated that he had to leave Gotham for this stupid arrangement between the companies but agreed to do so after Burce’s pleading. A change in environment for a few days will do you good.
----------
Damian and his alter ego had seen a lot. But nothing in the world could prepare him for Marinette standing wide-eyed when the doors to the company’s mansion opened.

Picture this, clark finding a pack of condom’s in Jon’s wallet or room. But half are gone. So he tells Bruce. How would the rest of the batfamily and superfamily react to finding out that Jon and Damian actually have sex regularly/on the regular. They ever just think about all the times they were both home alone or with each other alone in their room or disappeared after briefings and galas.
I’m imagining that this is at the very least when they’re older teenagers, if not in college.
Clark would be scandalized. Because this is his baby??? Like, Conner was different, he was already a teen and basically raised when he got to Clark. But Jon is BABY. One of those ‘baby for life’ to his parents. When they confront Jon, Lois merely asks when she should expect grandchildren, and also how. (ie ivf, surrogacy, adoption or are the Waynes gonna straight up invent new medical tech that two males can create a baby)
Clark also didn’t realize how serious Damian and Jon’s relationship was until he found these. Like, sure, he knew they were dating but this is quite a step. One he didn’t expect them to take. He kind of took this to be a teenage puppy love thing that would run its course and they’d move on to other people. So now he’s really questioning that. And he’s also questioning how that would affect their hero work. Because he knows how he is when Lois is in danger, and even Bruce. And Jon is more emotionally rash than he is, more willing to sacrifice himself for innocent or those he loves. So what happens if something happens to Damian? Like something really terrible? Death, evil or otherwise?
The Batfamily are in a similar state of surprise, though for different reasons. I hc Damian as asexual, so in my mind his family would assume the same. So for him to find someone he trusts so explicitly as to even want to have sex with them is HUGE.
And then for it to be Jon fucking Kent - the opposite of Damian in basically every way - is simultaneously surprising and not at all. The Bats knew they were dating, and knew they were close, again, because of how Damian doesn’t often get close to people easily, but...damn, Damian in love? It’s just a wild concept, even for them.
Jason teases a little though. And Dick and Bruce both remind him to be safe but give him little smiles. Cass just silently gives him wedding magazines every so often. Tim, in private, tells him if he ever wants to talk about dating Jon, the sex stuff etc that he’s always available.
Jason is the one who reminds Bruce and Clark all the times Damian and Jon were alone, and the dads shudder at the idea. They try to ignore the fact that they didn’t KNOW basically all the time haha.

Cream Puffs and Puppies Chapter 2
For TimKon week Prompt: Matchmaker. I went in a different direction with the prompt. I hope you enjoy.  Pairings: Kon/Tim, Jason/Roy/Kory, Cass/Cassie, Dick/Wally, Diana/Bruce, and Jon/Damian You can also read it on AO3
"I can't believe I let you talk me into this." Jason Todd growled as he glared at his two lovers and then his little sister.
"Come on Jason, you have to admit that it is clear that Bruce, Dick, and even the little demon miss Tim, and Tim misses them greatly." Roy reminded the growling man.
"I know that! I just don't get why we have to do this at a stupid con or why we have to dress up!" Jason hissed back as he tugged at his costume, at least it wasn't something ridiculous. "And why the hell can't I wear a shirt?"
"Because Dante doesn't wear a shirt." Kory happily informed Jason stealing a quick kiss. "How do I look?" She asked twirling around in her cosplay outfit.
"You look amazing." Roy came to stand beside Kory they both ended up going as Neo Queen Serenity and Neo King Endymion both looked amazing as their characters.
Cass had decided to go as Sailor Mars and Jason had a feeling a big part of her choice had to do with the fact that Cassie was going as Sailor Venus.
"Just so you know the only reason I am doing this is because I want to see what Blondie and Babs picked for Bruce, Dickie, and the demon spawn," Jason informed them as he crossed his arms over his chest.
A wide grin appeared on Roy's face as he clapped Jason on the back, "Sure Jay whatever you say."
Jason glared at Roy then turned his attention to Elizabeth, who he ended up adopting after his fifth visit when Tim rolled his eyes and shoved the adoption papers in his hands and told him to just fill them out already, gave him a doggy grin full of love. "Fine, let's get this over with."
+*****+
"You look amazing my space husband." Tim beamed at Conner who had finished putting the final touches on his costume. In Tim's opinion, he made a very handsome Shiro.
Tim had decided to go as Keith Kogane when Conner surprised him with tickets to a comic con and every Keith needed his own Shiro.
Conner could only smile as he pressed his lips against Tim's he knew his lover was obsessed with Voltron and what he called the epic love story of Keith and Shiro, he refused to accept the ending that neither Keith and Shiro or Lance and Allura ended up together.
"How dare they deny them their happy ending." Tim hissed as he watched the final seasons.
Conner had kept a close on Tim after that, the last thing he wanted was for him to do something drastic like buy the studio and redo the entire last season himself.
"The last time I went..." Tim trailed off the last time he went Dick had been there, they even managed to get Bruce to come along with them.
"Come on we better get going to meet the others." Conner stole a kiss from Tim, he hated the pain in Tim's eyes, he knew that he still missed his family. 'Please let this plan work.'
+******+
Barbara Gordon wasn't someone you messed around with, she rolled into the Batcave with Alfred and Stephanie both behind her.
"If you want to win back Tim this is your chance," Barbra informed them as she passed them their outfits. "You have half an hour to get ready before I call in reinforcements in the form of Wally, Jon, and Diana." Grinning as her threat had the effect she wanted she rolled herself out of the Batcave, she had her costume to pack.
With Bruce having his own plane it was easy to get them to San Francisco in time. Of course, Barbra had left out the little fact that Wally, Jon, and Diana would still be joining them. She rather enjoyed watching Jon appear in front of Damian and hug him.
Barbra made sure to get photos she had no clue how Diana convinced Bruce that yes he had to dress up as Wesley from the Princess Bride to her Buttercup but she had managed to do so. She had a feeling the black outfit helped.
Jon had picked Sasuke for Damian and Naruto for himself. Damian's scowl matched Sasuke's perfectly while Jon was just as happy as his character was.
Wally and Dick, well Babs was impressed at how much Dick managed to look like Tony Stark while Wally looked like a stupidly in love Steve Rogers as he gazed at Dick. 'Perfect for them.'
Barbra had chosen to go as Captain Marvel (Carol) and she rather pleased with how her costume had turned out.
Stephanie looked amazing as Spider Gwen, she looked unrecognizable.
"Now remember that our goal is to talk to Tim and prove to him how much we miss him." Dick reminded them. Guilt had eaten at him when Jason returned Red Robin's suit and everything to them. He had failed his little brother.
"Indeed." Damian, after Jon, pointed out how he talked and treated Tim had been wrong, had come to realize that both he and Tim were loved and wanted. He needed to make amends for his past treatment of Tim.
+*****+
"Wow, you guys look amazing." Tim praised as he caught sight of everyone's costumes. Raven looked amazing as Gamora and Gar looked like he was having a blast as Star-Lord. Bart was hopping around as Spiderman and Cassie looked amazing as Sailor Venus.
"Let's go," Jason growled as he stalked towards the entrance.
Linking hands with Conner Tim pulled him to follow after his older brother.
+****+
They had been there for about an hour when Conner got the text he was waiting for.
We are here.
Giving the signal to the others they followed Cass who would easily find her family.
"Look," Tim whispered to Conner as he walked behind his sister and friend.
Conner grinned as he spotted the link hands between Cass and Cassie and the faint blush on both of their cheeks.
"Hey Spiderman, looking good." Spider Gwen appeared out of nowhere, nudging Bart in the side.
Tim blinked he would know that voice anywhere. "Steph?" He had been so focused on being happy for Cass and Cassie that he hadn't been paying attention to the fact that he had been lead into a room.
Tugging off her hood Stephanie grinned at Tim, "Hey, ex-boyfriend long time no see."
It took Tim one glance around the room to see who else was there and his chest clenched. "What are you all doing here?"
Dick took a step towards Tim, "We are here for you Tim. To ask for a second chance to make things right with you. To prove that we love you, that you are part of our family. I know I haven't been the best brother to you and I want to fix that."
Bruce followed Dick and came to stand next to his oldest, "You are my son and I am sorry that I should have never made sure you knew that."
Jon nudged Damian who rolled his eyes as he followed his family, "I owe you an apology, Drake... Timothy. I was wrong in how I treated you and I wish to get to know you as my brother."
Dick gave Tim a a pleading look, "I love you, Tim, we all do will you give us a second chance?"
Tim had missed them all so much, yes they had hurt him deeply but he couldn't deny them that he missed them and wanted them back in his life. "Okay, I missed you all and I want my family back."
Dick moved and engulfed Tim in a tight hug. "I have missed you, little brother. And I'm not going to lose you again."
Tim clung to Dick, he had missed his hugs, "I missed you too big brother."
Jason rolled his eyes as he spotted Bruce's hands twitching, "Oh hug him already." Jason wasn't in the mood to watch him brood.
Tim and Dick were engulfed in Bruce's warmth as he hugged them to his chest.
Jon looked at Damian, "I am not hugging them." Damian informed his boyfriend.
A sweet smile appeared on Jon's face, "You're here that is a good start."
Once the hug broke Tim turned to face Conner, "Was this your idea?" He asked.
Conner grinned sheepishly, "It was a joint effort. We could see how much you missed them. You weren't whole without them and from what Stephanie and Barbra said they were even more miserable than you. Besides, I figured you would want your father to walk you down the aisle."
The room went silent as everyone stared at Conner.
Tim's eyes were wide, "Are you asking me to marry you?"
Conner fell down to one knee and pulled out the ring box he had been carrying around with him for a month, "Timothy Drake-Wayne since the moment I met you my life was changed for the better. I couldn't imagine my life without you. The day I met you was the day I met my soulmate and I want to spend the rest of our lives together and be able to call you my husband. So will you marry me?"
Tim lunged at Conner, wrapping his arms around his neck and kissing him deeply.
"I think that is a yes," Bart commented.
Bruce let out a distress noise that had Diana linking their hands together, "I think this is wonderful a union blessed by the Gods. Their souls have always been meant to be one." She whispered to Bruce who could only grunt.
Wally shook his head as Dick looked torn between happy that Tim was getting married or upset that his baby brother was getting married. "Conner is good for him and he will treat Tim the way he deserves to be treated." Wally did his best to comfort Dick.
"Don't worry I already gave Conner a long and very detailed list of what will happen to him should he hurt baby bird." Jason drawled out.
"What! You knew?" Dick whirled around and glared at his brother who just let out a crackle than a curse as Dick tackled him.
While chaos broke out behind them Tim broke the kiss and rested his forehead against Conner's, "The answer, by the way, is yes. Thank you for bringing my family back to me."
"Anything for you my space husband."

“little by little”
P. 30 / ?? S.M. AU. 1/3
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Martha Kent was surprised, sure. What was this well-dressed man doing in her house? Jon was immediately at her side, as if on the defensive, and you were the one to take a step foward. “Hello, Mr. Wayne” Ah, so he was Bruce Wayne, Clark's... friend. “Hello, Y/N, nice to see you again”, then he turned to Martha, “I'm sorry for intruding your home like this, Mrs. Kent” he said, and she shook her head. “It's quite alright”, he offered a small smile, polite but tense. “I needed to talk to you, Y/N, about what happened”, you crossed your arms, on the defensive too, and Martha looked at you. You were such a sweet girl! What did those bats do to you to have you so on edge? She felt her motherly instincts kicking in just by looking at the way your lips trembled. But you smiled at her and told her to get the food started, you would take care of this. Jon, being the sweetheart that he is, stayed by you.
“I think everything has been said, sir”, you took two plastics bags from the floor and made a beeline for the kitchen, but the Batman blocked your way. “It was not a question, Y/N” “Yeah, it was an order, and I didn't abide”, you grunted, “So if you could please move so I can put this away, that'd be great”. You didn't know if it was because of the shock of not intimidating you, or the way you were glaring daggers into his skull, but he moved to the side obediently. “Thank you”, and you were gone, with Jon right behing you with the other seven bags of groceries. When you emerged, Jon still following you like a protective puppy, you expected him to be gone.
But no, of course not, he was still standing there. A powerful man, dressed in a ridiculously expensive suit, looking tremendously uncomfortable. You had a feeling he wasn't used to being denied. “What do you want exactly, Mr. Wayne?”, you asked, patience wearing thin. “I told you” “Talk, then” He glared at you, and the resemblance he shared with Damian was uncanny. It made your heart clench painfully in your chest. “Have you told anyone what you know?” “No” “Are you sure? ” You looked at him as if he had grown a second head, “Am I sure—? Of course I am sure” “How did you find out” “You know that already or you wouldn't be here otherwise” “I still want to hear it from you” “No, you want to see if both stories match”. He was impressed, you were assesing him with seriousness and a cutthroat behaviour. Damian had impeccable taste in women, “Impressive” “Not really, just common sense”. Alright, you were a box full of surprises.
“I think we should go for a walk, so we can talk more... easily”, you scoffed, did he really think you were stupid? “I think you meant privately”, you looked at Jon and nodded, and he left to help his grandma with lunch. “Follow me”, and you were out the door, Bruce right behind you. “How did you get here so fast? It takes nearly 18 hours driving from Gotham” “I have my ways”, and when you saw Superman outside the house, you knew which ways. But... Did Superman really carry Batman all the way here or—? “Hi, Y/N, it's good to see you”, he said, and smiled kindly, “Oh... Um, hi”. You kicked yourself mentally but he just smiled wider. “Jon told me about your little discovery”, he said cheerfully, but you were on alert now. No matter how much effort he put into looking non-threatening, you understood a warning when you saw one. “I can imagine how you feel after finding out about all of us” “Miserable”, you saw him open his mouth, flabbergasted, brows knitted together, “That's how I feel”. You descended the few steps the porch had, and faced him, “I just found out all the people I hold dear lied to my face day and night, so I'm not thrilled”, then you turned to Bruce, any traces of patience now gone, “And now I have to put up with an uncalled-for interrogation”, you closed your eyes for a second, annoyed, and took a deep breath. “It's a pleasure to see you again, Mr. Kent”. You started walking towards a little bench under the shade of an oak, not bothering to see if Batman followed you.
You plopped down, and watches as Bruce took his sweet time to get there. It was scary how much Damian looked like him. Same strong shoulders, same face shape, wide chest, the hands. He sat down next to you, his brow sweating slightly. “You shouln't have come to Kansas in a suit, you'll melt”, you offered him a tissue, which he accepted. “I'm sure Martha would lend you some clothes that'll fit you if you asked”. He shook his head, saying he was fine. As stubborn as his son, you thought. You cleared your throat, “What do you want, Mr. Wayne?”, he was staring ahead, at the vast extensions of greenery, “You already know I won’t say anything about... All of this”, you said quietly, and he sensed how much being kept idnorant of their nightly activities had hurt you. He decided to cut straight to the point, “I want you to come back”, he didn't wait for you to protest, instead, he continued, “Damian... He is not alright. He refuses to leave his room, he only comes out to check on his pets and eats only when pestered enough about it”. You could feel your heart trying to escape your body, pained and bleeding for him. Did it really hurt him that much? “I can only imagine how you feel after finding out. And your reaction was only natural, I understand. But...”, he seemed at a loss for words for a second, “Please, come back to Gotham. I'm not asking you you to forgive him, to forgive them. But talk to them. They are all so miserable lately...”.
You rubbed your eyes, getting rid of your teary eyes. “Alright, lets say I come back with you, and talk to them. Then what? What can guarantee they won't lie to me again?” “After seeing what lying to you caused in the first place? I don't think they will ever dare”. You considered it for a moment, unconvinced. Then you nodded. “I'll come back to Gotham, but on one condition” “Whatever it is, you got it”. He regreted it the moment he said it, seeing your evil smirk, “Good, i'll tell you what it is when everything is done”.

Tiny Tim (part 8)
Part One / Part Two / Part Three / Part Four / Part Five / Part Six / Part Seven / Part Eight
Chapter Summary: A day trip gets organised.
On AO3
Enjoy :)
At first, he thought he had imagined it. His mind was just waking up from sleep and it was taking a lot longer than usual, but then he heard it again. A whimpering sound. Clearing the cobwebs away from his mind Kon looks around to find that it’s bright in the media room as Gotham’s rare sun is shining through the windows. To his surprise he finds both Jason and Damian still asleep in the room with him. Damian was still in the love seat with a blanket tucked around him and Jason was half hanging off the sofa he had to himself. There was still a movie playing on the TV and empty snacks and drink bottles lay around.
He looks to his right to find it empty. Neither Dick or Tim were in the media room. He looks up towards the room’s entrance when he hears a soft shushing noise. Frowning, Kon gets to his feet and stretches, sleeping on the couch isn’t the wisest choice, and then heads for the door. He tunes in his super hearing to find out where it’s coming from.
“Shhh… you’re okay Timmy. He’s not here, you’re safe.”
Kon picks up his walking pace and seconds later finds himself in the kitchen. He silently watches as Dick paces around lightly bouncing Tim in his arms. Tim has his arms wrapped around Dick’s neck and his face buried into his brother’s neck. Kon can see his shoulders shaking and can hear the muffled whimpers coming from him. Dick is bouncing lightly with every step he takes, he’s got one arm wrapped around Tim tightly and the other rubbing Tim’s back.
Kon’s heart breaks. Everything he had been feeling the night before hits him again. Tim’s clearly had a nightmare and Kon can guarantee he knows what it was about. If he hadn’t let Tim get taken this wouldn’t have happened.
His self-loathing doesn’t last for long because Dick spots him standing in the doorway. They make eye contact and Dick gives him a small smile.
Kon doesn’t have it in him to smile back, instead he walks over to the older man and gently places a hand on the back of Tim’s head to find his hair damp with sweat. He doesn’t move away it however. “How is he?” He asks.
Tim makes another noise as Kon touches his head but other than that he doesn’t really acknowledge him.
“He’s okay. Just a nightmare. I’m guessing that being in a toddlers body isn’t helping, it must be messing with his emotions.” Dick says.
“I bet.” Conner agrees.
There’s a sniffle from Tim, “It’s pissing me off.” He mumbles into Dick’s neck.
That causes Kon to crack a smile and Dick lets out a laugh, “I’m sure it is kid. Look three more weeks then you’ll be back to your normal over caffeinated, sleep deprived self again.”
“I could be back to normal now if you turn me back.”
“We’re sticking to this Baby Bird. It’ll be fine now that us bats know the situation, we’ll help Kon keep you safe.”
Tim lets out a whine and Kon moves his hand from Tim’s head to brush a finger over Tim’s cheek, “If we’re doing this, I’ll need to go grab his clothes from our apartment in Metropolis.” He tells Dick.
At the contact Tim finally turns and looks at Kon. Red rimmed blue eyes peer up at him, “I don’t blame you Kon.” He says quietly.
Kon doesn’t say anything, instead he reaches out and cups Tim’s tiny face in his hands and gives him a light kiss on the forehead. He pulls back and looks at Dick, “What’s the plan for today? Also, what time even is it?”
Dick starts to rock Tim in his arms, as if it’s a subconscious thing to do, “Um I don’t know. We could go out?”
Kon’s heart quickens at the thought of going outside with Tim like this, but before he could protest Dick cuts him off, “I know what you’re going to say and don’t worry. I was thinking about dragging us all out to Disney World. It’s just gone 9 in the morning.”
“Disney World? Really?” Kon questions, because really?
Dick simply beams at him, “Why not? It’ll be fun. We can head out there today, spend a night in the hotel, spend all day there tomorrow and come back tomorrow evening.”
Tim shifts in his arms and pulls away to look at Dick in the face, “You’re joking right,” there was a pause and Dick’s face says it all, Tim sighs, “Of course you’re not.”
Dick reaches up and ruffles Tim’s hair. Tim sniffs and crosses his arms across his chest and then pouts.
“Aw Timmy!” Dick coos at him.
“I’m done with you.” Tim states, pouting at his eldest brother. He then turns and looks at Kon. In a silent demand he raises his arms and makes a grabby motion at him. Kon complies, he steps forward and takes Tim out of Dick’s arms and places him on his hip.
Kon frowns as Tim settles into him, he’s feeling quite damp. Must be where he was sweating. Kon starts to bob lightly where he’s standing, “So, Disney World?”
Dick beams at him, “Yep!”
Next to Kon’s neck Tim mumbles something, Dick looks at him, “What was that Timmy?”
Tim raises his head, the pout was still on his face, “I said, what about patrol? We need people here for that.”
Dick’s smile falters, he clearly hadn’t thought about that, he then shrugs and smiles again, “I’m sure one night wouldn’t hurt.”
Silence falls between them, Dick’s now wearing a thinking cap, clearly trying to work out how to get around being away for one night but still having someone in Gotham to patrol. Kon simply focuses on the small body in his arms, Tim’s breathing has evened out from where he’s entered a light slumber and his hands are clenching some of his shirt.
“I stay…”
“Jesus!” The unexpected voice brings Kon out of his thoughts and makes him jump. He spins around to find Cassandra standing just behind him, “When the hell did you get there?” He asks trying to calm his pounding heart. Stupid bats, stupid sneaking up on people in their ninja ways. Most of time he can tell when Tim sneaks up on him, he’s had years of practice, but the other bats, especially Cassandra, they still catch him off guard.
A small smile plays on her face and Kon sees her turn her head as she spots Tim in his arms, somehow still asleep. She reaches out and runs a finger over Tim’s cheek. Pulling back she turns to face Dick, “I stay with Steph, need to catch who turned little brother more little.”
Dick raises an eyebrow, “You know where he is?”
“Yes. Tracking him for days, capture him tonight.”
“Do you need us there? We can stay and help you.”
She shakes her head, “Go, we can handle it.”
Dick looks conflicted, “You sure? Because-”
She cuts him off, “Go.”
At that point Kon debates on whether to put Cassandra on top for the scariest Bat instead of Dick, because that piercing looks she’s giving the eldest right now is pretty terrifying. Dick only smiles and puts his hands up in a surrendering gesture, “Okay, okay. Just be sure to keep contact with us, please.”
She smiles at him and nods her head, she turns back to Kon and Tim and once again runs her finger lightly over Tim’s lax face, “Cute.”
Kon grins at her, “He is, isn’t he?”
She smiles up at him before placing a kiss to Tim’s head. With that she leaves the two men and the toddler alone in the kitchen once again. Kon spins around to face Dick, “That answer your patrol question?”
“That it does.” The man states, “So, if you head back to your apartment in Metropolis and pick up some clothes and come back here we all can then head out. While you’re gone I’ll book rooms for us to stay in and hopefully it’ll all be sorted by the time you get back.”
Kon goes to speak but he’s interrupted by a different voice, “You’re doing what now?” Both Kon and Dick look over to find Jason traipsing into the kitchen and heading straight over to the coffee machine. He’s currently got a bad case of bed hair and his clothes are creased to hell. At the sight it’s hard to remember that this is in fact a crime lord who has killed many, many, people.
Unfazed by the scene Dick throws his hands up in the air, “We’re all going Disney World!”
Jason stops what he’s doing and slowly turns around to face Dick, “Come again?”
“We’re going to Disney World!” The man repeats.
Jason turns and gives Kon a look, “Did you agree to this?”
Kon opts for staying quiet, he doesn’t want to start anything between them. Jason takes his silence as his answer and proceeds to roll his eyes, he goes back to the coffee and brings out a mug from the cupboard above him, “Well if you’re forcing me to go, I’m inviting Roy. I know that Lian’s been wanting to go Disney World for a while.”
If anything Dick smiles brightens, “Of course.”
That’s when Kon gets an idea, “Can I invite Jon, he’s also been wanting to go.”
Dick enthusiastically nods, “Of course, so while you guys do that I’m going to go and book the rooms!”
Dick skips out the room with grace and Kon shares a look with Jason, did that just happen? The other man just shakes his head and lets it go. As Jason pours the coffee into the mug the smell hits Kon and by some coincidence Tim stirs in his arms and begins to wake up, “Is that coffee?”
Kon rolls his eyes, “Yes, it is coffee and you’re not getting any of it.” Tim shifts in his arms and looks up at him with big wide eyes and a pout forming on his face. Kon raises an eyebrow at him, “Are you seriously doing the puppy dog eyes on me? You aren’t getting any.”
“Meanie.”
“I’m not giving a four-year-old coffee Tim. Now, I’ve gotta go to metropolis to get us both some more clothes, do you want to come or do you want to stay here?”
Tim looks at him before looking over his shoulder towards his brother, “If I stay will you give me coffee?”
Jason snorts, “Nice try Timbo but no chance, I agree with the clone with not giving four-year-olds coffee.”
Tim pouts before sticking his tongue out at him, Jason frowns before doing the same. Kon just looks at him, “Really?”
Jason cocks an eyebrow at him, “He did it first.”
“He’s currently in a child’s body, he’s going to be childish. What’s your excuse?”
The man shrugs, “Well I didn’t have much of a childhood, growing up on the streets and all, I kinda had to grow up fast.”
Kon blinks at him before looking away unsure on how to answer that. He peers down at Tim, “Well?”
“I’ll go with you.”
Kon smiles, “Okay then. First we’ll eat some breakfast then we’ll head out.”
After eating a fantastic breakfast at the courtesy of Jason, Kon heads back to Metropolis with Tim in his arms. He flies above the clouds to try and avoid anyone from seeing him. Tim once again has fallen asleep in his arms and was out cold with his face tucked in between Kon’s neck and shoulder. Kon takes it easy for the flight, not going too fast just so he doesn’t startle Tim.
He arrives at the apartment and climbs in through the window. He tries to ignore the uneasy feeling in his stomach as he enters the living room. Here he had let Talia snatch Tim away from him and that allowed Ra’s to be near him. Kon takes a deep breath and pulls himself together, it’s not going to happen again. Dick and the others will make sure of that.
The first thing he does is places Tim down on the bed in the bedroom. The second thing he does is goes to the bathroom and starts to fill up the bath with water, Tim was covered in sweat when he first woke so Kon needs to clean him up, he figured he’d do it when they’re on their own rather in the Manor.
While waiting for the bath to fill he shoots Jon a message about joining them on the trip to Disney World for a day, he sends the details he knows over to his brother and instantly he gets messages full of excited emojis and gifs. Well, looks like Jon’s excited for the trip.
Once the bath had a reasonable amount of water in it Kon goes and collects Tim. At first Tim was groggy and was slow to wake up, but once he was placed in the water he seemed to come alive. After drying him and getting him into clean clothes Kon plonks him down in front of the TV with some snacks and then disappears to do his own routine of getting cleaned up.
By the time he was done he was tired. He flops down onto the couch next to Tim and rubs a hand over his face. Next to him Tim giggles, “Tired, are we?”
Kon sighs, “Dude, I never realised how tired I could get just from running around. Looking after you is hard.”
“Uh-huh. I bet.” Tim dead pans, or at least tries too, the bluntness of the sentence doesn’t work with his high-pitched voice.
Kon smirks and ruffles his hair, he gets a squawk in protest and tries shoving his hands away. Not having any of that, Kon lunges sideways and grabs Tim by the hips, he easily picks him up and places him on his lap and begins to tickle him. Tim instantly lets out a squeal and tries to squirm away from his hands but Kon doesn’t let him escape.
Kon stops the tickle torture once Tim is looking like a tomato and is unable to catch his breath with a bright grin stretched over his face. “I… hate… you… you ass…hole.” Tim gets out in between lingering giggle fits.
“Language.” Kon reminds him. Getting off the couch Kon stretches, “I gotta go and pack for us for this trip.”
Tim hops off the couch, well more likes slides off it, and looks up at Kon, “I’ll help.”
“Tim-”
Tim stamps his foot on the ground, “I’m helping Kon. I can be useful still. Stop treating me like I’m helpless.”
“Sorry, my bad. Come on then.” Kon leads the way into their bedroom.
Between the both of them, they get packed pretty quick. They only pack the essentials and even after that there’s still room left in the bag. It’s two outfits each (a spare because you never know what will happen), Tim’s pyjama’s, underwear for both of them, socks, and some toiletries.  After triple checking everything Kon’s pretty happy with what they have, he bets if Tim was his normal self they’ll have thrice as much because Tim would drag his suit and spare gear along for a just in case situation.
Once they were ready to go Kon slings the bag over his back and picks up Tim, flying out of the apartment he makes sure it’s all locked up before taking off high in the sky and towards Gotham once again.
Kon takes his time in traveling back to Gotham. He’s enjoying the fresh air and the warmth of the sun hitting his back. In his arms, Tim is quiet and is observing the passing world below them.
By the time he gets to Wayne Manor it’s nearing early evening. He lands at the front door and makes his way inside. From inside Kon makes out loud voices coming from the direction of the kitchen, putting Tim down on the floor he starts to head that way with Tim walking right next to him.
They get to the kitchen to find everyone stood around talking, there’s multiple bowls full of snacks spread around. Tim wonders into the kitchen and is immediately caught by Dick who swoops him up and cuddles him and Jason leans over to ruffle his hair.
Kon stands by the door and watches the scene, once again he’s hit with that domestic feeling. As if Kon and Tim had just turned up with their kid and they’ve gone racing ahead to meet their uncles. The scene makes him warm inside at the possibility of that happening in the future, that domestic family gathering and kids running around over the place. The more he thinks about it, the more he wants it.
“Kon!”
Kon’s brought out of his head by someone shouting his name. He goes to look for them but something collides with his waist and sends him backwards a few steps. Looking down he sees that his brother has his arms wrapped tightly around his waist.
“Woah, easy there kid.” Kon says as he gets his balance. Normally Kon wouldn’t have even moved if someone collided with him, but as it was his own brother who is also half Kryptonian and nearly as strong as him, he couldn’t help but move.
“Thank you for the invite! I’m so excited!” Jon beams up at him.
Kon laughs and ruffles his hair, “No problem, figured you’d want to come. Did you fly hear on your own?”
Jon smiles at him before he rolls his eyes, “No, Dad flew with me until we reached Gotham, then he let me get here on my own. We were visiting the farm when you messaged me, so I brought the clothes I had with me. I’m so excited, can we go yet?”
Kon nods his head, he doesn’t blame Clark for flying with Jon to out here, it is quite the distance and you could easily get lost, he doesn’t think Jon quite knows the direction off by heart yet. “I have no idea what time we’re going yet kid, so just be patient alright.”
Jon sighs and lets go of him, “Alright.”
Kon watches Jon walk over to where Damian was sat at the table and as he sits next to him and starts to excitedly talk to him. Those two really baffle Kon, he has no idea how they get along. Jon was a ball of sunshine, he was hyper active, friendly and lovable, Damian however, was not. Well not as far as Kon could tell. Those two were polar opposites and yet they get along well. He guesses that’s like questioning Superman and Batman, how do they get along well? He shakes his head and dismisses the topic, sometimes it’s best just not to question things.
Kon walks over to where the older Bats where standing. Dick was holding Tim on his hip and was feeding him some crisp while Jason was watching and sipping a beer. Dick spots him coming over and sends him a smile, “I’ve booked the rooms, so that’s all sorted out. Now that you two are here, we’re now just waiting on Roy.”
“Okay, cool. How are we getting there?”
Dick’s smile turns into a knowing grin, “We’re sons of a billionaire, how else are we going to get there other than a private jet.”
Kon just looks at him and decides to not say anything, he should be used to the fact that these people are mega rich and can afford anything they want but sometimes it just doesn’t sink in. He’s not complaining because it can be useful but sometimes it’s just unreal, though he knows that they aren’t the stuck up rich kind, they’re always giving money to charity and helping out where they can.
A few minutes go by then there’s the sound of a door opening and closing followed by two voices simultaneously shouting, “We’re here!”
They all look towards the kitchen entrance as they can hear someone running towards them and the shout of, “Uncle Jay! Uncle Jay!” can be heard.
Kon looks over to find Jason brightening up at the sound of his name. He puts down his beer and crouches down just in time to swoop up a running child in his arms, “Gotcha!” He laughs out.
Lian squeals happily as Jason starts to swing her about. After a moment Jason stops and holds her upright, “How you doing munchkin?”
The girl giggles, “I’m not a munchkin! I’m a big girl!”
“Big? I’m not sure, are you?”
“Yes!”
“Alright, if you say so…”
Kon couldn’t help but smile at the interaction between Jason and Lian. It was cute. He glances over to find Dick wearing a fond smile as he watches them and Tim is also wearing a small smile. They all look over at the door however when another speaks up, “You know, thanks to you guys, I’ve had to put up with an excited and hyper six-year-old for the last few hours and now I’m shattered.”
Jason lets out a snort as he puts Lian down on the floor. Lian immediately runs up to Roy and starts sprouting off questions, “Daddy can we go now? I can’t wait! Please can we go!”
“Honey, what I have taught you about patience, we’ll be going when everyone is ready okay.”
Lian pouts, “Okay.” She heads back over to Jason and stretches out her arms in the ‘pick me up’ fashion. Jason once again puts down his beer and picks her up and settles her on his hip. Kon watches as she observes the place, her head going from person to person in curiosity. He sees her gaze linger longer on Jon and Damian over at the table and then as she sends a smile at Dick who waves at her, but what attracted her attention the most was Tim who was still in Dick’s arms.
She pats Jason to get his attention, “Uncle Jay, who is that?”
Jason finds her pointing at Tim, who was now watching them with narrowed eyes.  “That’s Tim. You’ve meet him a few times at Titan’s Tower, he’s currently the leader of the Titan’s.”
Lian frowns, not understanding, “But that Tim is a adult.”
“Yeah, but just recently he got hit with a magic spell which turned him small. Sometimes it’s like what Daddy and I fight, Tim just happened to get hit.”
Lian’s mouth shapes into an ‘o’ and she sends a smile at Tim, “Hi Tim!”
Kon watches as Tim sends her a small wave. Lian beams and turns back to Jason, “Can I play with him?”
“Uh,” Jason hesitates as he looks at Tim, who was now sending him a cute glare, before looking back at Lian, “Maybe later. Tim isn’t up for it right now.”
Lian looks disheartened, “Oh, okay.”
“Don’t worry he’ll play with you later okay.” Jason tells her.
She smiles and then relaxes against him, resting her head again his shoulder. Kon glances at Tim to see him now watching Lian with a thoughtful expression on his face, Kon can’t tell what he’s thinking at this current moment. Perhaps tomorrow he could try and get Tim to spend a few hours with Lian, it might do him some good.
“Grayson, now everyone has arrived can we leave?” Damian asks walking up to him.
Dick smiles, “Excited to get going are we little D?”
“Tt, as if I want to go and see people dressed up as cartoon characters. The sooner we get this over with the sooner Kent will stop talking about it.”
“Uh huh. Okay Dami, whatever you say.”
“Tt.”
“But I think we are ready to go, aren’t we?” Dick looks around and meets everyone’s eyes and in response they all nod in agreement.
Lian was the first to react. She instantly starts squirming in Jason’s arms to be put down and once on the floor she grabs the man’s hand and drags him out of the kitchen, “Come on Uncle Jay!”
Jon was next to follow while dragging Damian behind him and Roy trailed behind them. That leaves Kon, Tim and Dick left in the kitchen.
“Right Timmy, I’m going to put you down now because my arms are beginning to get numb and because I’m going to make sure everyone has everything and that no one has killed anyone.” Dick crouches down on the floor and places Tim down, he ruffles his hair before getting up and leaving.
Kon looks down at Tim, “Hey you okay? You’ve been quiet.”
Tim looks up at him and blinks a couple of times before answering, “Yeah I’m fine, just didn’t have a lot to say that’s all.”
“What do you think of Lian?” Kon asks.
“Lian? She’s fine, nice girl, Roy’s doing a good job of raising her.”
“She seems fond of Jason.”
“Yeah, she likes him. Believe it or not Jason is actually good with kids.”
“I can see that. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if he sets up a play date for you and her tomorrow, especially since she wanted to play with you today.” Kon won’t mention the fact that he’ll probably end up helping to arrange that.
Tim simply shrugs, “Guessed that myself.”
Kon starts heading for the door, “Come on lets go before Lian or Jon come hunting for us.”
The drive to the airport went by quickly and soon enough they were on the plane heading for Disney Land. That’s another good thing about being stinky rich, Kon thinks, there’s no hassle at the airport, simply go in get all their passports checked and then straight onto the private jet. No hassle with luggage or waiting around for a few hours until their flight, just straight in and straight on the plane.
Kon relaxes into one of the plush seats and peers around the plane to observe the others. Dick was lightly conversing with Roy. Jason had a lap full of a sleeping child, the excitement had finally worn out of Lian leaving her peacefully sleeping. Jon was passed out in another seat next to a very awake Damian. Tim was also passed out on the seat next to Kon, he was covered up with Jason’s jacket.
Kon sighs and looks out the window, not that there was much to see as it was now dark out, it had been another long day and he can feel it catching up on him. Knowing that they were fine and safe, that Tim was fine and safe he let’s himself start to drift off to sleep.

can you do a supermom imagine where she makes a killer egg salad, that all the boys (conner, clark, and jon) obsess over, so they invite the batfamily over and she makes it for them and they're also in love with it, and some say its better than alfreds? please and thank you! love your writing btw!
As always, the ending is kinda so-so ™ for me but this was kinda fun to write! Thank you for sendingin your request and hope you enjoy~
“No, I’m being serious though.” Jon exclaims when Damian all butshrugs him off. “Ma makes the best egg salad ever!” Jon crosses his arms, starting to become very annoyed at the lack of expression Damian is giving him.Why is he even friends with this person anyways, he grumbles in his mind.
“If you are done talking, I have just finished texting fatherthat you have invited us to your house for dinner.” Damian slides his phoneback in to his pocket and looks at Jon smugly. “If it is so delicious,” Hetrails off when Jon’s older brother, Conner, appears by the school gate.
“Damian,” Conner greets him and Damian nods his head ingreeting. “Jon, Pa can’t pick you up cause of work so I’m here.” He tells hisyounger brother who simply nod his head. “Was I interrupting something?” Connerglances between Jon and Damian.
“I was just telling Jon that your family has invited us over todinner so 8 o’clock is fine right?” Damian looks at his watch. “Expect us atyour house by then, Jonathon. See you, Kent.” Damian then strolls off towardsthe limo that just pulled up – he needs to inform the rest of his family afterall.
“Did he just invite his entire family over for dinner?” Connerlooks at Jon skeptically. Jon groans and nods his head. “Alright, I think weshould head home and tell Ma.” Jon blanches, afraid that he might have causedtrouble for you.
Surprisingly when Jon and Conner arrived at home, you arealready in the kitchen, prepping food for dinner. “Ma, we’re home.” Connercalls out, stepping in to the kitchen, padding towards you to drop a kiss atopof your head. “Did Pa tell you?” Conner glances at the plates and glasses thatyou have taken out from the cupboards.
You chuckle before nodding your head. “Clark said Bruce told himthat they have been invited over for dinner because someone would not stoptelling little Damian about how great my egg salad is.” You said teasingly andJon lets out an apology. You turn to look at your youngest son who is lookingat you like a drenched puppy before you decided to give him a brief hug. “Don’tworry, Jon – dinner will be merrier with all of them here.”
Jon perks up at your assurance. “Can I help you then?” He asksexcitedly. “Can I wash the plates?” He looks at Conner and Conner nods hishead. “Conner can dry then!”
You smile at your little helpers before letting them do as theyplease. You gave them instructions to set the table once they have finisheddrying the plates and glasses. You set aside the egg salad in a few big bowlsonce it was done – you hoped it was enough, given how much your own familyliked to eat it. So you decide to do some other dishes, one of Clark’sfavourite and Conner’s favourite before working on some desserts – Jon’sfavourite.
Clark walks in to the house much later, bringing a fresh bouquetof flowers. He walks over to you, pressing a kiss on to your waiting lipsbefore handing the bouquet to you. “Hi, I missed you today.” He murmurs againstyour lips and you grin before kissing him one last time. “Do you need anyhelp?”
You shake your head. “Your boys were absolute angels today –helped me set up the table too. Conner made some freshly squeezed juices so youcan take your pick and go take a bath after that, Mr. Kent.” You pat yourhusband’s ass causing Clark to shy away from you, laughing merrily as he madehis way to the fridge. “Also, all the food is ready and we have an hour tospare before Bruce gets here.”
Clark nods his head, picking up the apple juice and pouringhimself a glass full. “That’s fine by me.” He nods his head and continues todrink the juice. “You can go ahead and get ready first – I’ll just finishwashing the dishes and don’t even tell me you are done because I heard youearlier.” Clark ushers you up the stairs and you give your husband one morekiss before you scurry off to the bedroom to find clothes for tonight.
Right before the clock strikes 8PM, the doorbell rang and youcan hear chattering outside of your house. You immediately answered the doorand is greeted with the entire Bat family. “Come in,” You welcome them, openingthe door wider. Bruce gives you a small smile before pressing a kiss to yourcheek.
“Thank you for accepting us on such short notice.” Bruce glancesat Damian who simply looks nonchalant about what his father is implying. “Ihope we didn’t cause too much trouble.”
You shrug your shoulders. “Silly Bruce. When have you ever?” Youusher all of them in and thank Dick when he handed you a basket of fruits.“That’s thoughtful of you.” Dick smiles at you. Out of everyone in the batfamily, you are probably the most comfortable with Dick, given the fact that heis always around the house and is also Conner’s friend too.
“Conner’s somewhere in the house – I’m sure you’ll be able tofind him.” You tell Dick who nods his head and rushes off to see his old friend.“Food will be served shortly so please just make yourself at home.”
Jon comes around to drag Damian around the house. Tim simplymade himself comfortable in front of your TV before he switches it on to watchsome random show. Jason took the chance to browse through your collection ofbooks, occasionally complimenting you for buying some of the books. “I couldn’teven get this one! It was sold out even before I got to the display section.”
“I have to admit; this is really good.” Dick praises you and yousmile at him. Cooking is really one of your passions to hear that even Dicklikes your food, it makes you feel happy. Dinner had gone really nicely.Everyone seemed like they were having fun, Clark and Bruce included. Not onlythat, everyone seemed to enjoy your food too.
Damian reluctantly nods his head. “I have to say that this isperhaps maybe even better than Pennyworth’s cucumber sandwiches.” He tells Jonand Jon laughs, knowing how much Damian actually likes eating the food that Pennyworthprepares for him even if he says otherwise.
“Maybe we should have you over in Gotham.” Bruce tells you. “Youcan open a diner or a café – I think with the food you make; you can reallymake it far in the business.” He proposes and you laugh before shaking yourhead.
“I’m fine right here.” You glance at Clark who simply smiles atyou. “Besides I love cooking food for family so if anyone of you want me tosend something over, just tell me and I’ll get it done.” You tell them, feelingvery elated. It really feels nice to know that your food is enough to bring joyto people.
“Then perhaps, Mrs. Kent, if it’s not too much of a problem foryou, can you add more portions to Jon’s lunchbox? He always ends up whiningabout how he finishes everything so quickly.” Damian takes the time to teasehis friend. Jon bursts out in a whiny protest as he shoves Damian’s shoulders.
“Of course – I’ll make sure to pack some for you too, Damian.”

SuperSis!Reader x Dick Grayson: Excited
So this wasn’t actually requested for me, but for @batlog, and I just got excited and did it myself since Batlog isn’t taking requests. It’s probably just part one of many random things cause I AM REALLY ENJOYING WRITING SUPERSIS- I want all the things with her. XD
Can you do an Imagine where you're Superman's daughter and you and Dick are together? Please :)
It had been three weeks since you'd started dating Dick- since he'd asked you out for tea, of all things, after a particularly rough mission. He'd been all bright smiles, and charming words, and not at all like the goofy 13 year old you'd met back when you'd all come together to form the Young Justice team. And you'd had a low key crush on him since way back then, so of course, despite being exhausted and bit a dusty, you'd agreed.
Three weeks later, and things were... excellent, actually. He was a good boyfriend, if a bit preoccupied sometimes. That was okay, you were busy too.
It helped that you'd known each other so long, and that you got along with his family. The Batfamily, as everyone was calling them, was pretty fun, and despite all odds, basically entwined with your own.  As it had been since you were fairly young. You'd babysat Damian, (and that was a handful), Tim and Kon were practically glued together, Kara got along amazingly well with Babs and Steph, and you fit in just perfectly. It was nice to feel so deeply immersed in a family, even a pulled together one like Dick's.
But three weeks in, and there was one thing that hadn't happened yet.
You spent a fair amount of time in Gotham with his family, and of course he knew your brother Jon, and he'd known Kon as long as you had. He got along with Kara, he knew your dad. It wasn't like he wasn't almost as involved in your family as you were his.
But, he'd never really interacted with your family when they were all together. He'd met most of them, but separately.
This weekend was a family get together. It was a big deal. Everyone was coming to the farm back in Smallville, and you'd convinced Dick to leave behind the mask and join you. The first big meeting where everyone would get together and you could 'officially' introduce Dick as your boyfriend.
"They all know that, you know." He'd grinned at you when you brought it up, arms around your shoulders, his lips brushing your cheek, "I mean, who is left to tell?"
You'd grinned, tilting your head, and turning in his arms to face him, "Yes, but you haven't met my grandma, or been with us as just.. us."
"Us?"
"Dick, how many times have I hung out with you and  your brothers?" You asked, fingers sliding through his hair, "How many times have I spent the night at the Manor with you? Or have I woken up in your apartment to find Jason and Damian sprawled on your couch playing video games and fighting over the controllers?"
You tapped his nose and drew away, "I love your family, I like knowing them, but you only work with mine."
"I've seen Conner in the morning, I think that's enough." He snickered, thinking back to when Conner still lived at the base, and everyone saw him every day, there, and waiting. "And I've met everyone outside of work, [Y/N]."
"Yes, but not together." You responded, moving around him to leave the computer behind and head towards the kitchen, "Besides, you love my dad, I thought you'd be thrilled to see him in his element."
You grinned as Dick paused to think that one over. It wasn't really as big of a deal as you were making it out to be. If Dick didn't make it you'd be disappointed, but you'd get over it too. He did know them, love them, maybe a bit less than you loved his brothers, but it was something. Using your dad, though, and the reminder of how Dick had positively swooned over the idea that you were superman's daughter back when you first met, was a bit of a... well, a dick move. To be blunt.
"Yeah, okay,  I'll go."
You didn't need to look to know he was grinning like a fool. Instead, you waved a hand, and continued on your way, "Awesome, you should bring Tim with you, Kon will love it."
You'd thought that would be pretty easy. But when you met Dick at mount justice the day of, dressed in civvies, you saw the same fanboy you'd met way back when. He looked good, damned good, like always, in jeans and a t-shirt, and jacket thrown over it. The sunglasses were still a bit much given how dim the cave was, but you didn't mention it- it would be pretty damned bright in Kansas, so that was fine. It was the way he fidgeted, shifted his weight with excess energy, that made you roll your eyes.
"Dick, calm down." You grinned, pressing a kiss to his cheek, "It's just a picnic, you look like you're gonna explode. "
"He's been like that all morning." Tim said, taking a sip of mug of coffee, and staring down at his phone.
"I'm not like anything. I'm calm, totally whelmed. " Dick responded, still grinning as he slung his arm around your shoulder, "This'll be great. I can't wait to see where Superma- Your dad, I mean, where your dad grew up."
Rolling your eyes, you gave him a light, barely there shove, "Whatever, Birdboy."
The Zeta Tube dropped you all off just beyond the farm. Far enough to not startle the animals, but close enough that it was in walking distance.  Tim was near silent, still staring at his phone as you walked, but Dick was exuberant. His eyes scanning the landscape, and looking for signs of everyone. You, yourself, could already hear everyone.
You could hear Grandma M and your mom laughing, and Jon trying to coax Wolf into a game a fetch. More importantly, you could hear Kon and your dad  talking about Dick.
"He's good for her, right?" Your dad said, sounding a bit unsure.
"He's a good guy." Kon responded, and you tried to listen a little more closely to know where they were.
"Yeah, but like... Bruce is so..." Your dad paused, "Not good with people, and women..."
"Dick's not like that."
"He dates a lot."
"Yeah, he dates a lot."
You rolled your  eyes, winding your arm around your boyfriend's waist as you led him and his brother up the long drive. "Okay, so dad might be planning to give you the 'shotgun' talk, or his version of it."
It shouldn't end too badly. At least, nothing like the one Batman had given you the first time Dick had brought you to visit the manor as his girlfriend and not just a girl who is a friend- Jason stop making that face at us!!
"What?" Dick's voice broke on the word, and you tried not to laugh at the look of shock on his face.
"He gave it to Kara's first girlfriend too, I think." You vaguely remembered the fight that had ensued. "Anyway, it's no big deal, just remember, my dad's like a big marshmallow wrapped in red and blue. He's like a puppy or something."
"That can bench press buses and punch through walls." Tim added, very unhelpfully.
Dick's face went pale, and you shot a glare at Tim, "Okay, but you know you're getting it too, you know."
"What?" Tim's head jerked up and he looked at you in panic.
Grinning, a bit evilly, you leaned a little towards the smaller Robin, "You are dating Kon. You know, Dad's gotten , like, super close with him lately. Kon's one of us too. And if you hurt him, there's really not much that anyone could do to save you."
"We're just friends." Tim told you, before picking up his pace and walking a bit faster, his coffee sloshing from his cup as he went.
As he went, you snickered, and turned your gaze back to Dick, who had an almost pleased look on his face. Arching a brow, you reached up and prodded at his cheek, "Okay, so I know you like teasing your brothers, but my doing it doesn't usually bring that look to your face. "
"Superman's going to be giving me the shotgun talk." He responded, a bit breathily. You could hear the hint of excitement in his voice, and rolled your eyes. "My hero is gonna tell me not to hurt his daughter- Not, not that I ever would! I mean, why would I want to? You're amazing, but this is like huge, ya know?"
"You're excited my dad is going to threaten your life? " You were confused.  This had to be the weirdest reaction you'd seen a boy ever have to this type of thing. Of course, most of your actual experience with this kind of thing, really, was that time J'onn had stared down Kon over M'gann, but that was ages ago, and frankly you'd thought it would just end with Kon trying to punch J'onn.
"Well, excited isn't the right word." Dick began, grinning like a loon, "I mean-"
"You're totally excited to have my dad threaten your life!"  You broke into laughter, pulling away from him, and picking up your pace a bit, "Oh my god, Kara was right."
"What did Kara say?" Dick asked, trying to keep up.
You just kept moving, just fast enough to keep out of his reach, laughing and staying out of his reach as you finally moved up to where everyone else was. Your dad and Kon were outside now, and  you could see Tim settled at the picnic table between your grandmother and Kara. You spotted your dad eyeing Dick, but there was soft smile on his face as you let your boyfriend catch you. Dick lifted you up and spun you around, and your laughter drew everyone's attention, not that it slowed Dick down for even a moment.
It was a nice start to a family get together.

Why Do You Have To Be So Good Looking? - Batfamily Imagine
Tumblr media
Requested by Anon -  hey! I love your stories! could you maybe do one where the reader was adopted into the batfam and is a couple years older than Damian and some of his friends/teammates(like Jon) have very obvious but cute puppy crushes on her and she finds it adorable but Damian is very annoyed/protective bc of it? thx love!
***
Damian frowned. His mind debated how many ways he could kill his teammates. Maybe he should just stab them or hang them by their toes over a lava pit? He growled. Any way would be preferable as long as they were dead.
“So is (Y/N) coming too?” Jon asked, peeking around Damian to see if someone else was going to exit the Batwing. Kid Flash, Crush, Djinn, and Roundhouse were looking too.
“No, (Y/N) is not coming.” Damian snarled. He brushed past Jon to go the edge of the roof. “What’s the status on our target?”
Kid Flash zoomed to his side. “No sign of him yet.” He crossed his arms.
“TT.” Damian sighed as the others kept watching the Batwing.  “She’s not in the plane. Would you quit obsessing about her?”
Jon pouted. “But (Y/N) is so cool.”
“Yeah, I think she likes me,” Roundhouse giggled excitedly. Damian glared at him.
“She’s hot.” Crush glared back at Damian. “I mean if we had to chose one bat, we’d chose her.”
Damian tensed, turning away. A pang hit his heart at her words. “TT.” He saw the target leave the building below. “We go now.” He jumped down. The others followed him, but he knew they were still disappointed that you weren’t there.
***
He came home early the next morning. The mission was a success, but he was still being gnawed by the fact his team wanted you. You were in the cave, working at the batcomputer. He frowned at the crutches resting against the computer just in your reach.
“Hey Dami.” You turned to smile at him. Damian glared at you.
“TT.” He came to your side. You kept working as he continued to glare at you.
“Yes?” You smirked, not looking at him. Damian’s eyes dropped to your foot that was wrapped in an ace bandage.
Damian crossed his arms. “Will you be recovered soon?”
You glanced down at your foot. “Yes, Alfred said I could go out tomorrow night.” A chuckle slipped out of you. “I thought you didn’t care?”
“TT.” Damian turned and walked off. He blushed slightly. His stomach twisted as he thought about how his team preferred you.
***
“Would you pay attention, simpleton?” Damian snapped as Jon watched you from across the room. Everyone was on the Watchtower for a meeting. You were talking to Nightwing.
“I’m listening.” Jon waved his hand, not looking away from you. You felt his eyes on you and glanced over. Jon blushed and looked away quickly.
“TT.” He glared over at you. You frowned, mumbling something to Dick. Dick studied Damian in return.
Suddenly, Kid Flash bumped you from behind and started talking to you. He was blushing madly while you gave him your full attention. Jon frowned, green with envy. Damian shook his head as Dick came to his side.
“What’s the problem?” Dick bumped Damian’s arm. Damian sighed.
“Why does (Y/N) have to be so good looking?” Damian hissed. Jon wandered off to join your conversation. Damian frowned when he saw Crush and Djinn joining you as well.
Dick snorted, biting his lip to keep a grin off his face. “Umm, are you jealous?”
“TT, no.” Damian glared at Dick. “But they are all falling over her. I can’t lead them if they keep looking over my shoulder for (Y/N).”
A smile worked it’s way to Dick’s face anyway. You had all the Teen Titans around you now. He could tell by the look on your face that you were amused by it. “Well, to be fair, (Y/N) is not taking any of them seriously. She already dating someone else.”
Damian’s eyes snapped to Dick. “What?”
Dick glanced at Damian worriedly. “(Y/N) is dating someone already.”
“Who?” Damian pursed his lips in thought.
“I...I don’t know. It doesn’t matter anyway. (Y/N) can live her own life.” Dick frowned as Damian marched toward you and the Teen Titans. “Wait, Robin. Where are you going?”
Damian kept moving, inserting himself between you and the Teen Titans. You blinked in surprise. “Hi, Robin.”
“TT.” Damian glared at the Teen Titans. They looked annoyed that Damian had interrupted the conversation. “(Y/N) is already seeing someone. Leave her alone or I’ll chop each of you into tiny pieces and throw you into the ocean as fish food.”
The Teen Titans stared at him for a long moment. Damian started to reach for his sword, but they quickly disappeared. “Did you really have to do that? They were being cute.” You crossed your arms.
Damian turned around to scowl at you. “You were distracting my team.”
You sighed. “It’s not like I was doing it on purpose. They just have crushes on me.”
“TT.” Damian narrowed his eyes. “Control yourself.” He marched away before you could say another word.
You studied him then glanced over at Dick in confusion. Dick chuckled and came to your side. “Apparently, his team kept asking him about you all the time.”
“Oh.” You laughed, shaking your head. “I guess I should have discouraged them more.”  Dick bumped your arm.
“Nah, this is good for him.” You and Dick watched as Damian chased after his team with threats of whipping them into shape.
