#Dick: Yeah...
Alfred: *walks by the kitchen*
Dick: 🎵my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard🎶 *pouring blueberries, miso, strawberry milk, pebbles and onions into a blender*
Alfred: *gets out spray bottle*
Dick: 🎶and dam- ack! Hey!
Alfred: We. *spray* Established. *spray* That. *spray* You. *spray* Are. *spray* Banned. *spray* Along. *spray* With. *spray* Bruce.
Dick:
Later
Alfred: Might I, despite my better judgment, inquire why you were adding rocks to the blender?
Dick: you know how there was a dinosaur that swallowed rocks to help with digestion?
Alfred: Please cease your explanation as I have heard enough.
Dick: ok

I like to think that Vulcans who come to understand that Humans just can’t try to process emotions the same way as them, it’s just healthiest to let it out in harmless ways, decide that venting and stuff should be taken just as seriously as Vulcan’s meditation time, and will encourage the Humans around them to complain about what’s upsetting them
People who are used to aloof Vulcans who avoid Humans at all cost running into one comforting a Human
“-and then they said my cheesecake was subpar, and they didn’t even bring a dish!!!”
“The purpose of this event was that every participant brings a food item of sorts, correct?”
“Yeah!!”
“And they did not follow this rule while insulting dishes that were brought?”
“Mostly just my dish but yeah >:(“
“How illogical”
“That’s what I’m saying!!!”

damian would NEVER tell his big brothers, but he loves it when they pick him up from school.
though damian isn't well-liked, and is a prime target for bullying, everyone knows about the other wayne boys, respectable yet highly intimidating.
so when one of the other batboys shows up to take him home, damian knows that all his onlooking tormentors shake in their boots for a split second, realising that their "what are you going to do?? tell your brothers??" probably wasn't the best taunt to use against him.

i LOVE fics where eddie’s like “i’m a virgin… nobody wants to fuck me EVER… i’m a bitchless loser… never even had my first kiss… woe is me😔” and steve, vibrating with poorly restrained lust, is like “so i have this crazy idea”

Jason built like a tank Todd being treated by his family like a pretty princess he is will never be not funny to me.
The only difference is that Bruce and Dick do it affectionately and Tim and Damian do it degradingly.
Cass and Duke have literally no thoughts behind their actions, they are just happy to participate in family activity.
Barbara and Steph act depending on how much Jason annoyed them today.

i love the headcanon that dick and jason are stupidly more stealthy than the other bat kids because they spent their robin years running around with a bright yellow cape

Someone today will read Shakespeare's hamlet and say omg he's just like me fr. Another person will read moby dick and proclaim Ishmael as an adhd king.
A person grieving for their recently deceased lover reads the iliad and they watch as Achilles rages and rages and god how righteous anger fueld by love is so devastating that it's ramifications still affect the world several thousand years later.
We might one day settle down and read the epic of gilgamesh and watch as a king has to accept the death of the person he loved the most. One of the very first stories ever written and it was about coping with death, and how to grieve.
We don't read classics because they're old, we read them because they remind us that we are never alone. That a character created over 500 years ago struggled with the exact same problems we all still have today. That even a king from centuries past had to deal with death just like me. That's what makes stories so powerful--they prove to us that we are never truly alone in what we are feeling.

big fan of the trope that is separate hero teams working with their respective bats but not knowing that they're Bats- and once they find out they go "Batman has KIDS?!?" but once it's known it becomes SO BLARINGLY OBVIOUS. the "how did we not notice before" kind of obvious.
Dick's glare (once you've done something to deserve it) definitely rivals Batman's. Jason's confident and sly smirks whenever he solves something can be seen on the Bat every time he's working. Tim's 'displeased and thinking' face is all Batman. Not to mention all of them lurk in the shadows and appear out of nowhere 90% of the time and are all crazy smart. Of course, if you told any of them that they were acting like Batman they'd throw up on the spot.

I don't wanna further hijack that poor poll, but the thing about Harrow's schizophrenia is that it's canon. The author has confirmed it, and shared that it's based on her own experience.
It's a pretty obscure bit of canon, so of course there's no shame in not already knowing, but that's why I'm so obnoxiously persistent about letting people know.
Whatever else is up with Harrow, autism or cptsd or any number of likely headcanons, she is also schizophrenic. I feel like that's too important to be handwaved away as a difference of opinion.
