This is a concept for a live-action Justice League Tv Series that could be adapted on something like HBO MAX or a another network or streaming. This series would be in the same universe as the Batman Tv series I’ve been developing on here.

Tumblr media
Clark Kent/Superman……Ian Harding
-
Tumblr media
Diana Prince/Wonder Woman…. Christian Serratos
-
Tumblr media
Martian Manhunter……...Michael Jai White

Barry Allen/The Flash……..Sam Claflin
-
Tumblr media

-
Tumblr media

-
Tumblr media
-
Other characters that will appear in the show.
- Supergirl……Lili Reinhart
-Nightwing…….Leo Howard
-Aqualad…………Jaden Smith
-Donna Troy……. Samantha Logan
-Kid Flash………..Colin Ford
In the Finale:
- Batgirl……Bailee Madison
-Black Canary…….Chole Bennet
-Green Arrow………Austin Butler
————
Seeing if this was on streaming TV series the episode count would be anywhere from 8-13. For the first season will go with 10. Each episode is about 59 minutes, and all give a little summary for each episode.
This series will take place between season three and four of the Batman Tv series that’s on my master list.
——
Episode Lists:
1.World Finest Pt. 1:
- Bruce travels to Metropolis to investigate a lead he has on a secret case file. He stops a weapons deal and is met by the Man of Steep himself. Bruce much do his dismay decides to enlist Clark help due to the nature of the weapons which are not man made.
-The two undcover information about Brainiac and decide they’ll need more help to stop this invader.
2. Earth’s Finest Pt. 2:
-The two track down Wonder Woman an immortal warrior to help them with Brainiac plan to take over the planet.
-They return to Metropolis where Lex Luthor has enlisted several of the trinity’s rogues gallery to stop them.
-A new hero that goes by Martin Manhunter arrives with in time to help the Trinity.
3. There’s More:
-Superman recalls his arrival to Earth, and Manhunter tells him how his home as well as Superman’s was really destroyed and it was all thanks to Brainiac.
-The Flash calls his old friend from Coast City to look into a alien he stopped a few nights ago in Star Labs custody.
-Aquaman resurfaces after several of Brainiac’s men attempt to break into Atlantis.
4.I in Team:
-The alien from Star Labs awakes and breaks from his cell. The Flash and Green Lantern track him down in Metropolis.
-Aquaman warns the other heroes that whatever space invasion they come across needs to stay out of his waters,or they’ll be hell to pay.
-The heroes join forces to stop the mutated alien from Star Labs. Batman realizes that sometimes working in a team could get the mission down faster.
5. Backup Plan:
-Doomsday,Deathstroke, and Reverse Flash have been set free from their respective incarnations and are set to keep the newly formed heroes busy while Brainiac finishes his plan.
- Nightwing calls his old friends Kid Flash and Aqualad to assist him to look into a series of alien attacks in Bludheaven.
7. Girl of Steel:
- Clark learns he’s not the sole survivor from Krypton anymore with the discovery of his cousin Kara who has been held captive and brainwashed by Brainiac.
-Donna Troy arrives in Bludheaven to help the boys with the last alien attacks in city.
-Now free from Brainiac Kara tells the Justice League the truth about Krypton and just how dangerous Brainiac can be.
8. Young Justice:
-While the mentors are trying to find out where Brainiac will strike next Batman assist Nightwing a mission for him and the other young heroes.
-Nightwing and the team travel to Santa Prisca to stop another alien weapons deal but are ambushed by Vandal Savage and Bane.
9.And So It Begins….:
-Brainiac has arrived and has launched his army on Earth, the Justice League and Supergirl go into battle.
- Young Justice rally and stop Bane but Savage escapes;Superman and Batman get on the Mother Ship and come face to face with Braniac.
10.War and Peace:
-Wonder Woman instructs Young Justice to assist on Earth with Flash and Aquaman while she and Supergirl go onto the ship to rescue Batman and Superman.
-Batgirl arrives Black Canary with a device that can magnify the Canary cry which painful to Braniac’s aliens. Green Arrow assists the remaining JL members and the young heroes on the ground with the invasion.
-The Trinity fight Brainiac on his ship and with their efforts as well as the other heroes Brainiac retreats the planet.
————
End Credits/ Director Notes:
Filming for the series would take place in Liverpool U.K. or London for Metropolis and Washington D.C. would be CGI for the first few scenes for Wonder Woman.
In this Universe the team of Young Justice is hinted at but is not formed until later in the timeline.
Superman and Batman have already met in this universe. Superman as of the first 5 seasons of the Batman Tv series hadn’t physically appeared and won’t until Season 6. Even though the events of season 1 the JL series takes place in the past.
Wally and Dick met sometime after the later became Robin.
Black Canary has already met Batgirl and Batman in Gotham before she moved to Starling City.
Much like Batman in most versions Wonder Woman has rarely been seen in person and not much photons exist of her.
Most of this season takes place in Metropolis.

The DC Identity-Swap AU: A World/Storybuilding Fanfic Project (that needs a better name)
What follows is what has been come up with for a DC Universe where many heroes and villains ended up with different identities, initially conceived of by comradepitrovsky and expanded on by me and others.
In some cases, the said heroes ended up with different supporting cast members, in others not.
Let us begin, with the founding members of the Justice League: -Superwoman: Diana Kent, the Last Daughter of Paradise. For…reasons, Themyiskara had to go to another dimension, but baby Diana couldn’t come, so at Hippolyta’s request, the Olympians sent her to a Patriarch’s World couple who would raise her right, namely Jonathan and Martha. She’s dating Lois Lane and her archenemy is Lex Luthor, with whom, I want to be clear, there is ZERO Foe Yay, because she’s disgusted by him, and he’s intimidated by her. -Green Lantern: Kal-El of Krypton, who the Guardians appointed to lead the Corps through the transition to running itself. Came to Earth because he needed a break, stuck around because sweet RAO this planet needs help. He managed to keep Sinestro from going off the deep end, so he’s part of the Council Kal set-up to help him run the Corps, along with Kilowog, Mogo, Abin Sure and…not sure. -Zatara: Bruce Wayne. After his parent’s deaths, Bruce was adopted by their close friend John Zatara, who realized the kid was tied to the demon Barbatos, and they figgered out a way for him to use that power for good. -Captain Marvel: Barry Allen, while studying Forensic Science in college, took some classes, and became friends, with Archeology Student C. C. Batson (there is considerable overlap between the two fields, right?). When Batson and his wife were murdered during a dig in Egypt, Barry offered to help with the investigation, and ended up becoming SHAZAM’s champion. -The Flash: Hal Jordan, test pilot for Ferris Aircraft, was struck by lightning whilst flying their latest prototype, and ended up tied to the Speed Force. (Note, like Johnny and Jessie Quick, can fly) -Hawkman and Hawkgirl: Arthur Curry and Dinah Lance. The former encountered the wreck of a Thanagarian spaceship whilst exploring underwater and ended up with the soul of Prince Khufu. Dinah was hanging around her Uncle Carter's place and had something similar happen with the soul of Chay-Ara. -Martian Manhunter. J'onn is exactly the same. Other thoughts, somewhat random, in no particular order: -Ollie was zeta beam'd from The Island to Rann instead of Adam Strange. -Adam is instead Metamorpho. -Eel managed to drag himself to Slaughter Swamp before succumbing to his wounds and so ended up becoming Swamp Thing. -Owing to…complicated feelings WRT to her adopted brother, Zatanna ended up hanging around with her dad’s colleague Thaddeus Brown, and took up his mantle instead, becoming Madame Miracle, Magical Escape Artist! -T. O. Morrow built Red Torpedo first, she got possessed by a water elemental somehow, rebelled against his programming, and ended up traveling to Atlantis, overthrew the tyrant Orm, was acclaimed Queen, married Mera, and now fights crime on the surface as Aquawoman. (I’m gonna say she sometimes wears a human disguise that looks Aquawoman-11, because I fancy her and will use almost any excuse to get her into one of these things) -Ray Palmer and Ralph Dibny became Firestorm. -Instead of becoming Cheetah, Barbara-Ann seized the power of Teth-Adam and became Captain Marvel’s archenemy. -Pam became the Cheetah instead, and is an enemy of The Flash, with no small amount of Foe Yay. -In addition to that, Hal is also in a Love Triangle with Carol and Lady Blackhawk, who came to work for Ferris after arriving in the 21st Century due to time travel shenanigans. Arguably a Love Quadrangle, since he's competing with his alter ego. -Selina and Helena are both Star Sapphires and both of them are pursuing Kal-El, who is receptive to both. -Barry is still with Linda, Wally is Capt. Marvel, Jr. -The Batson Twins became Superboy and Supergirl, but I haven't come up with specifics. Help please? -Bruce adopted Raven and Garth. Suggestions for codenames? -In an effort to gain the power to defeat Superwoman, Lex made a deal with Ares, confident that he could handle the God of War. He is now possessed by Ares, but has no idea, assuming that the ideas Ares puts in his head are entirely his own, because he’s too arrogant to believe anyone else can control or manipulate him. It helps that Ares largely approves of Lex’s ideas and doesn’t need to do much. As a side-eeffect, Lex’s power armor has a distinctly Ares-y feel to it. -Klarion is in Bruce’s Rogue’s Gallery. Said Rogue's Gallery also includes the Sivana family. Which means that yes, Bruce is dating Beautia. -Bruce's archnemesis is the man who in the normal reality became Black Manta, who I've always headcanoned as choosing to torment Arthur purely by random chance, and obviously picked differently here. Since there's no need for a nautical theme, he uses a different codename; Black Bat. -The first thing Kal-El did after completing training was rescue Kandor. Brainiac swore vengeance, and upon escaping from the Sciencells, discovered how to harness the Yellow Light of Fear. In addition to using it himself, he also unleashed a number of Phantom Zone criminals, took over their minds, and equipped his enslaved army with Yellow Rings.
-The Olympians left Diana some magic thingummy that allowed her to be trained in Amazon combat techniques, etc. in her dreams or something, because she needs something to make up for the lack of super-senses, but if she has the Lasso, I'm not sure how Lex can be a problem for her?
-Dick was adopted by the Dibnys, got himself the Gingold Extract, and fights crime as Firestorm’s sidekick, Elastic Lad.
-Mister Mind is one of Diana’s Rogues.
-Dr. Psycho is in Hal's Rogue's Gallery. Presumably, wossname the guy who framed him so he could steal his fiancee Mavra didn't do quite as good a job gaslighting her, she found out the truth, and he murdered her to cover it up. He is therefore unable to blame her for the plot in a feeble and cowardly attempt to save himself when Psycho comes after him. This leads to misogyny being a less prominent aspect of Psycho's particular psychosis, with his primary targets instead being "Alpha Male"-types like the man who ruined his life. And hey, here's Hal Jordan....
-Gen. Eiling as Reverse-Flash, Y/N? -Thawne become Sabbac, Y/N? -I think I'm gonna say Pam still has her canon powerset in addition to being the Cheetah. -Since one of the best things about Hal is how he hates being told what to do, but is most comfortable in jobs where he's in a disciplined hierarchy...Zinda recruits him to create a new version of the Blackhawks. Not sure who else is in it; I can think of a bunch of ace pilots in the DCu, but they’re all American, and the Blackhawks should be an international operation. Possibility; the same temporal shenaniganry that dropped Zinda in the modern-day also spat-out Hans Von Hammer, the Enemy Ace. -I'm adding Captain Nazi to Hal's Rogue's Gallery. Since Hal is Ambiguously Jewish, his sidekick is Inuit, and in this 'verse he's part of a team that's a legacy of an group founded to fight the Nazis, I feel like it works. Also, Hal's other villains thus far are a bisexual woman, a dwarf, and a US Air Force General, people who are naturally inclined to have beef with him and vice versa. -Abra-Kadabra being one of Bruce's villains, Y/N?
-Circe is one of Bruce’s Rogues and they have UST.

Earth-82 Teams, Part II
Teen Titans (Founders)
Dick Grayson (Robin/Nightwing) - Dick Grayson is the son of circus acrobats, John and Mary Grayson, who were killed when he was eight years old. He was taken in by Bruce Wayne and became Robin the next year. Robin is the most experienced sidekick, having already been a part of the vigilante world for four years before the team formed. He became Nightwing when he was seventeen years and was at this point the de facto the leader of the team, alongside Flamebird, Wonder Girl, and Starfire.
Donna Troy (Wonder Girl/Troia) - Donna is an orphan that Diana rescued from a burning building and took to Themyscira. Donna was adopted by Queen Hippolyta and blessed by the gods to become immortal herself and to gain all the other attributes of the Amazons. When Donna turned twelve, she convinced Diana to take her to Man’s World. She attended a Justice League meeting, which is where she met and became fast friends with Dick Grayson and Keren Zor-El. She, Dick, and Keren remained friends even as she returned to Themyscira, communicating through letters they exchanged through their mentors. When Donna was fourteen, Dick thirteen, and Keren fifteen they convinced Diana, Bruce, and Clark to let them have a sanctuary of their own, which Bruce produced in New York City and would eventually become Titans Tower. Donna, Dick, and Keren are the three founding and core members of the Teen Titans.
Keren Zor-El / Karen Starr (Power Girl/Flamebird) - Keren is the eldest daughter of Zor-El and Alura In-Ze, four years older than her sister Kara. When Krypton was about to be destroyed, Keren’s parents put her and Kara into a rocket ship where they would be in suspended animation until they arrived on earth; they were supposed to find Kal and seek shelter on Earth as soon as they landed. They were unlucky though and their ship got damaged and went off-course for twenty-five years before finally landing on Earth, where they woke up to meet Superman for the first time. Keren was furious to see someone wearing her family’s symbol and attempted to attack Superman, screaming at him in Kryptonian. Clark did his best to explain what happened and, once he finally did, Keren was horrified to learn that Kal had grown up without her and Kara, though she was happy Val was there for him. She refused to fully assimilate to human culture and asked that Kal find her and Kara someone to live with that they would not have to hide their identities from (as Keren is only thirteen at the time); Clark decided his childhood best friend Lana Lang and her fiancée Eliza Danvers was the best choice and after she agreed, he approached Bruce for help in establishing fake identities for them as Karen and Kara Starr, Lana’s long lost nieces.
Roy Harper (Speedy/Red Arrow) - Roy Harper Jr’s his mother, a Navajo woman, died giving birth to him. His father died only a few years later in a forest fire. Roy was raised by his uncle, Broken Bow, until shortly before his uncle’s death when he was twelve. Broken Bow had convinced Oliver Queen, newly recovered billionaire who had been missing for five years, to take Roy in. Because of Oliver’s relationship with Hal Jordan, a member of the Justice League and close friends with Flash, Roy was introduced to Kid Flash when he was fourteen, as Speedy. They became fast--if antagonistic--friends with him and met the rest of the Teen Titans through
Wally West (Kid Flash/Flash III) - Wally is the only child of Rudolph and Mary West, though he was far more likely to spend time at his Aunt Iris’s house. He considers her more of a parental figure than he ever did his actual mom. He later ends up feeling a similar way towards Barry Allen, since he’s been around for as long as Wally could remember. He found out Barry was the Flash when he was twelve (about three months after the new Flash first appeared) and demanded that Barry tell him everything! He decided to try and recreate the accident and was lucky to be chosen by the Speed Force as well. He was allowed to become Kid Flash when he was thirteen, with Iris’s permission. He joined the Teen Titans a few weeks after his superhero debut. Iris and Barry adopted him when he was sixteen, after it was discovered that his father was physically abusive and his mother neglectful.
Garth of Shayeris (Aqualad/Tempest) - Garth is the only son of King Thar and Queen Berra of Shayeris and would have been the crown prince had his parents not been overthrown before he was born. His father was killed and his mother banished to Poseidonis, due to the actions of his uncle - a magician with malicious goals. He was born with violet eyes, which marked him with the potential to become a powerful magic-user in his own right. Unfortunately, magic-users had recently been made taboo within Poseidonis and Garth was cast out. He was found by Princess Mera of Xebel, Xebel being a pocket dimension found within the Bermuda Triangle. Mera convinced her parents to take him in. Xebel had no taboo against magic users which allowed Garth to grow up with no bigotry against him for his potential magical abilities, and Mera (a powerful sorceress in her own right) ended up being the one to train him when he expressed interest in the magical arts. Garth met Arthur Curry when he was ten and Arthur twenty, through the rebellion Xebel had joined to bring down King Orvax and later King Orm, and they quickly bonded. When Arthur later became Aquaman, he offered Garth the position of Aqualad. Garth was the second to last of the founders of the Teen Titans to join.

Getting to Know More
Fun facts about Terry McGinnis:
He was a notorious middle child in a HUGE family: Dick, Jason, Athanasia, Cassandra, Tim, Duke, Damian, Alina, himself, Helena, Thomas, Bruce Jr., and Matt. His extended family included Dick’s wife, and Dick’s kids, Thomas, Mar’i, and Jake; Jason’s adopted daughter Lian Harper; Tim’s wife, Stephanie; and Duke’s wife; Claire Clover. His extended, extended family also had Uncle Luke’s and Aunt Babs’ kids; Carrie and Nell, Bette Kane, Grampa Lucius, and, well, at this point one got the picture; huge ass colony of Bats living in Gotham here.
He shredded it where skateboard, hockey, motocross were concerned, but he had the coordination of a spaz for baseball and surfing.
His mom was awesome on epic proportions. Seriously, he didn’t know how she did it but she redefined super mom.
Another thing to know, he totally did not have a crush on the Princess of Atlantis, he was only going with her to this movie because he happened to like it, and because Mareena was the only chick he knew who didn’t like chick flicks (Mar’i, Helena, Lian, and Max could all go Suck It! He was going to see a damn action flick if it fucking killed him this year!) Mareena just also happened to like action flicks, which was why she was here with him.
Standing there in the theatre line he tried not to stare at Mareena who was hiding her identity under a hoodie she had stolen from his room when she had walk up to the Manor with a movie for them to see. Mareena did not have friends in Atlantis who appreciated the arts of action flicks. Terry didn’t care though, he was no longer being that weirdo who was going to a theatre alone. Also, she was a chick Dana could not get jealous over and drive him insane. He would think college meant that the drama would die off with the age grow up, but apparently not. And he was not getting blue balls because Dana was having imaginary jealous fits over imaginary slights.
“Why can the line not move faster,” Mareena huffed.
“Because the line is moving this pace because people are slow. Besides, we’re ahead of the line for the premiere line,” he jabbed his thumb over his shoulder to show her. Mareena frowned.
“You people are annoying,” Mareena said icily.
“How are we annoying, you wanted to go to this movie, so I’m going with you to see this movie,” he said.
“I would’ve asked someone else, but,” she started.
“There’s no one but Don and Dawn, and we both know there’s no way in hell that Barry and Iris would let them come.”
“I could’ve gone to New Krypton,” Mareena argued.
“Oh yes, because watching their movies is so entertaining,” Terry rolled his eyes.
“You land dwellers have no appreciation for the fine arts of moving with a flow,” Mareena argued.
“Pipe down, and don’t draw attention of the paparazzi,” he snapped when her hood started falling off of her head, which had him pulling it more firmly over the green hair of hers. Only disadvantage of going to the movies with Mareena was the fact her hair glowed in the dark. But other than that, trade offs, made it worth it!
“You do realize they’d be more inclined to notice you and not me, right?”
“I’m wearing a Gotham Knights cap, and I am not royalty, I’m just one of a hundred Wayne kids,” Terry point out.
“I thought you were a Prince,” Mareena said.
“No, I’m a Wayne,” he said. “Not royalty.”
“You are also…” she held up her index fingers by her head and smiled a bit.
“Yeah, but that doesn’t count,” he shrugged. Dick had been Batman, Jason had briefly been to save Dick’s wedding, Cass currently was, Damian was next. It wasn’t anything special anymore, it wasn’t special in the family he belonged in. Though B was still the control freak behind the scenes for them so technically B was still the Bat.
“Why not?”
“Cause B’s the big man in charge.”
“Your dad is in a wheelchair,” Mareena pointed out.
“Partial paralyses is not a disability, it just means his legs have to take a break sometimes and Mom has to push him around, it’s not abnormal to what normally happens with him,” he shrugged.
“You guys have issues,” Mareena stated.
Terry merely shrugged. “Dad’s fine, we’re fine, it’s all fine!” he snorted.
“Last time you said that everything was on fire,” Mareena stated.
“Let me restate we’re fine. But mostly keep your hair away so I don’t have to explain to Dana why the hell I’m seen with another woman.” Terry stated.
“Ah, the nefarious Dana, why are you still dating that woman?” Mareena asked. “She was bratty when you were a teen, she’s worse now.”
“Not all of us get fairy tale romances,” Terry shrugged. “Besides, I like sex, sex is a great relief to the stress of everything.”
“You sound like a cad.”
“You should hear my sisters talk,” he shrugged. Mar’i, Helena, Max, and Lian were way worse than him about the sex talks, girls were all about feelings, and emotions and connections, it was annoying, and they always talked about it and guys! Terry probably knew more about women than the average guy and it was a disturbing amount information his sisters had given him. And just to clarify, he thought of Mar’i, Lian and Max as his sisters because he had known them since he was in diapers! It was hard to think of them as anything remotely close to something other than sisters.
“And you shouldn’t knock down romance,” Mareena stated. “Your family has the most epic love stories according to my father. Other than maybe Diana and Steve’s.”
“You’re nuts!” he sputtered.
“Am not, the story of B and Selina, Dick and Kori, Jason and Raven, Tim and Stephanie, B and Talia,” she stated. “Epic romances.”
“That’s just gross, and disturbing to think about my family’s love lives,” he grimaced.
“You guys are secret sweethearts I bet,” Mareena decided with a cheeky smile.
“We are the Knight! We are the Terror of Nightmares! We are NOT Sweethearts! Even Alina is even an epic of epic badasses,” he argued. His phone buzzed and he pulled it out to see the text was from his mom.
“What’s up?”
“After the movie we need to go get Matt, Carrie, Tommy and Nell from school. Babs and Luke had to go to Africa,” he said.
“Oh.”
“So we’ll get them, get a slice, and then I’ll drop you off, or are you tubing?” he asked.
“Why would I be tubing?”
“Cause it’s up or down with you,” he retorted.
“Can I stay? I haven’t hung around the surface too much, and I do not want to go to the Tower,” she said.
“Yeah. Julia will help us set up a room for you,” Terry said. Julia had come to Gotham recently because Alfred was sick.
“Who is Julia?” Mareena asked.
“Julia is Alfred’s daughter,” he answered.
“Alfred is not B’s father?” she said in bizarre wonderment.
“Uh… yeah, not a secret,” he pointed out. “Alfred is awesome, and he’s totally grandpa, but he’s not blood.” Terry shrugged.
“WHAT!?” Mareena sputtered. Terry jumped a bit as he stared at her bewildered expressioned.
“What!?”
“He’s not blood!?”
“No, I mean, like ninety percent of my family isn’t blood.”
“Really?”
“Yeah,” he shrugged. “It’s not news.”
“I…” she started. “I always thought you were related,” he said.
“Really?”
“Black hair, blue eyes, ungodly pale.”
“What about Duke or Damian!?” he sputtered.
“Okay, so you don’t all look alike,” she rolled her eyes.
“Exactly, and we are all pretty much adopted. Only Athanasia, Damian, Alina, Helena, Tommy, Junior, Matt and I are actually B’s blood kids.”
“I thought you were just… you know, cause you’re a huge family and dad says B started young, really young, so I just assumed,” she shrugged.
“It’s all public record,” he shrugged. “B hasn’t been shy about it. Dick, Babs, Jason, Cass, Tim, Duke, Steph, technically and kind of, Harper, Cullen, Bette, and Renee.”
“I just thought you were related, and I thought you were also, you know,” she shrugged innocently.
“What else did you think we were!?” He sputtered.
“Vampires,” she said innocently.
“I hate dad for starting that rumor,” Terry muttered sourly.
“That one is funny though!” She persisted. “Hal told me, before I met you guys, that you were all demons.”
“Well, Rae is,” he shrugged.
“I thought your dad was big anti- anything that isn’t human marrying into my family,” Mareena said.
“Luci made valid points which had B accepting the fact marrying into a family as divine and powerful as Rae’s is a… you know, it’s kind of a divine honor,” Terry shrugged. “Besides, I didn’t know they weren’t married until they were officially married.”
“You didn’t know they weren’t married?” Mareena asked.
“They’ve been together since I was in diapers,” Terry shrugged.
“Really?”
“Yes really. I’m pretty sure they were the ones who found me,” Terry said.
“I’m learning more about you than I ever thought possible.”
“All of this is actually public record.”
“Really?” she asked skeptically.
“My biological mother was Mary McGinnis, she was married to Warren McGinnis, they died in a car crash when I was three days old and they were driving home from the hospital. I’m technically property of A.R.G.U.S. so Waller took me in, Jason found me about a year later,” Terry explained.
“That’s weird,” she decided.
“No, what’s weirder is the fact that Matt is my full brother,” Terry stated. “Mary and Warren were dead five years before Matt was even conceived, and he’s my full brother.”
“What?”
“Yeah.”
“I thought you were B’s blood son,” Mareena said carefully.
“I am. Waller injected a serum into Warren McGinnis’ DNA to scramble his own DNA to match with Bruce’s. Warren was a chimera essentially thanks to Waller’s tinkering,” Terry said. “I’m a ‘clone’ of Bruce’s in a way or I was supposed to be with what Waller set up, and I’m his son, but NO, he did not get involved in the conception of me or my blood brother Matt. He’s the genetic material for us. He’s still Dad though since he’s well, Dad,” Terry shrugged.
“That’s complicated.”
“That’s my family. Also, completely public record,” he shrugged.
“You’re not normal,” she said icily.
“What!? I’m completely normal! I’m going to a movie, and with you no less, in broad daylight, and I’m not turning to ash because of the sun either!” he smiled.
“You’re sounding like a assbutt,” she muttered.
“Asshole,” he corrected. “And you started it.”
“What did you expect from my family?” she asked.
“Lots of energy,” he answered honestly. “Dad always said that you guys were energetic like no tomorrow and wild, also unpredictable, dangerous, and loud, very loud.”
“You expected that!?” she sputtered.
“Did you think I was expecting a mermaid from Little Mermaid, fishtail and all?” he asked her.
“Yes!”
“Nah,” he shrugged.
“You’re an ass,” she informed him.
“I’m aware.”
“Good.”
“Besides, I’m a you know,” he shrugged. “Being unpleasant and assholes in general are required.”
“Oh! The ticket booth! And next time we are dropping your family name to get into the movie.”
“You wanted to be a normal American teen this time instead of being a Princess of you know,” he said.
“I did not want that. You wanted that. Freaking love of invisibility. I swear if you were metas you’d all be like that.”
“Rae cast an invisibility spell once, that was awesome, terrifying and cool.”
“Why!?”
“Oh, the demons were hunting her, I was like seven, and it was a giant hide and seek game,” Terry said.
“That’s not normal.”
“You grew up under the sea,” he pointed out.
“You grew up in Gotham.”
“I don’t like you right now,” she decided.
“You adore me, I’m paying for the movie,” he pointed out.
“True,” she decided.
“Awe, you two are an adorable couple!” the ticket attendant said when they stepped up to buy the tickets for S.O.S. “First date?”
“We’re not a couple,” Terry stated as he paid for the tickets.
“But we are friends!” Mareena declared slinging her arm around his shoulders.
“Barely.”
“You adore me!” she declared.
Terry rolled his eyes as the ticket clerk chuckled but gave them their tickets. “I’ll spring for the snacks, you get the good seats,” he ordered as they had their ticket punched and walked into the crowd.

The Best DCEU I Can Give You
Let’s be honest here: the DCEU sucks. Not even when you compare it to how Marvel built their MCU; by itself it’s basically on the same level of embarrassing as my high-school dating life. Batman VS Superman should’ve defined superhero movies, Suicide Squad was a colossal waste of time, and don’t even get me started on Lex Luthor (I understand they built him to be his son, Alexander, but still...).
So, I want to take the time to throw out a draft of how I would write the DCEU:
Tumblr media
1) Man of Steel
Like it or hate it, this movie showed how a modern-day world could react to a Superman-like being. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed this! I liked their take on General Zod, defining his view on how and why Krypton needed to survive. Plus, it gave Supes a legit villain who could play his equal without the use of Kryptonite. All the while crashing into things as if he was really trying to get used to his powers. To me, this was a solid start to the DCEU.
Tumblr media
2) Wonder Woman
Okay, this wasn’t a solid hit for me. Much better than a few that came before, but the story didn’t speak to me like it seemed to everyone else. What I did like was how it portrayed Themyscira as always being a utopia, even with how isolated it was to the world. It gave Wonder Woman a solid origin and defined the character’s stance and presence while wanting to bring that utopia to the word outside of Themyscira. Plus, it introduced the Mother Box, which we would make multiple references to in the coming films.
Tumblr media
3) The Corps
With how cosmic the DC universe can be, how can you have the DCEU without the main space team? You can’t. Having Hal Jordan being a main part of the initial Justice League could’ve led to much bigger things. Realistically speaking, I wouldn’t give it a full origin story. Start Hal being where he’s Green Lantern, but offer callbacks to how he met Abin-Sur and how he first got the ring. Sinestro would not be a villain just yet, but by the second movie, he’d definitely be starting the Sinestro Corps. You can easily introduce the other Lanterns of the color spectrum, and even a start to the Parallax/Zero Hour saga later on. Having a group that could easily swing its own universe would definitely enhance the JL.
Tumblr media
4) Incorporate the Arrowverse
Arrow and Flash started off as great shows (whether they still are is a matter of opinion), but what I could never understand is how they weren’t involved in the DCEU to begin with. They even mentioned that Flash was a founding member of the JL in the Reverse Flash’s timeroom. At any rate, I would definitely add Flash to the mix (maybe Green Arrow and Superwoman later). What Gustin brought to the table was emotion and embodiment of Barry Allen. I think watching him mix up with Hal Jordan’s Green Lantern could have been magic. *i actually thought Ezra’s Flash was closer to the goofy, lighthearted Flash that I grew up with, so I’m not entirely complaining..*
Tumblr media
5) Enter the Knight (and Day)
The overall question here: How to introduce Batman? Quite honestly, I can speak for myself when I say that we all know the origin on how he became Batman, so why waste time on building to it? Introduce him in the Justice League movie. Have him be able to have at least a little contingency plan for the JL, causing the team to work together to beat Batman (not in the way to say “It takes EVERYONE TO BEAT THE BATMAN!, but to actually show how Batman is essentially nothing more than a contingent by himself). Enforce this by having them team up against someone like Brainic, Ra’s Al Ghul, or Vandal Savage. It could even be enhanced by showing scenes (doesn’t have to be post-credits) of Bruce Wayne watching/studying the others. Have it establish a bond within the Justice League, so they could move forward to things like the Blackest Night, Crisis, or Flashpoint.
Tumblr media
As for the other characters, I would definitely add Aquaman and Martian Manhunter at some point. I’d save Cyborg for a run with the Teen Titans, where you can have its own separate run. I’d definitely like to see the Flash’s and GL’s separate Rebirths as well as the Death in the Family/RedHood/Knightfall for Batman. Save Doomsday for MoS3 (seriously. Come on, WB).
Just some rough thoughts. What do you think? Would it be worth investing in, or would it be another shitfest gone bad? I’m open to comments! 😎🤙

TumblrFrostbite's AU Questions: Can you make an alternate Injustice 2 fanfic with Flash (Barry Allen) taking Brainiac into the end of time with him returning to present day and telling Team Batman and Team Superman what he did? Can you also make it so that the two groups begrudgingly going their separate ways (ending with both groups working on ways to bring back Metropolis and Coast City)?
I hope that you enjoy the story! It’s a bit lengthy, but I had a good time writing about Barry’s inner psyche. Have fun!
WARNING: Mention of blood, panic attack.
Clark sat slumped in the massive throne, the ship’s connectors still stabbed into his temples. Bruce lay motionless on the ground, a thick stream of blood trickling from his skull. The World’s Greatest Detective and the Man of Steel, soon to be relentlessly assassinated by Krypton’s killer. Brainiac stood triumphantly over Batman’s body, his extending metal arms reaching towards Bruce.
“I must admit, Batman, you put up a tremendous fight. You are a beautiful specimen, and I am saddened to have to do this.” Brainiac soothed, raising up one of his additional arms to strike through Bruce’s skull.
A bolt of lightning struck against Brainiac’s mind, a glimmering scrape against the forehead. As the alien stumbled backwards, nearly toppling over a nearby pedestal, he cried out in pain.
“Geez, Brainiac, one for the dramateurs, I presume? It was only one punch, man! Or… whatever you are.” Barry Allen stood triumphant over his foe, small flecks of the speed force leaping from his winged cap. Grabbing the alien by his chestplate, he rocketed through time once more, the time stream’s multi-layered sounds jabbing themselves into Brainiac’s skull.
“Stop…. Please!” Brainiac managed to call out, the momentum shaking him to his core.
“Here, this should do the trick!” The Flash called out, hurling Brainiac forwards through a swirling gateway.
The air in the plain was humid, the color bleached, and fading quickly. A piercingly bright source of energy pounded from the sky above, and the ground was nearly indistinguishable from the horizon.
“Where… where have you brought me, you metahuman freak?” Brainiac cursed, turning to face the Scarlet Speedster. To his dismay, there was no figure in sight; simply the empty terrain. A short signalling cough rang out from behind Brainiac, causing him to spin on his heel and be met with another enraged rocket punch to the jaw.
“This is the end of time… nothing to be made, nothing to be destroyed, nothing but a bare land with no color. This is where you will spend the rest of your miserable, insufferable days, Brainiac,” Barry explained between jabs, launching the monster of a soul through the abyss.
Before he could say a word, Brainiac felt his back crack against the rough ground, his shell breaking beneath him. His metal arms sprung him back upwards to face the speedster, but before he could attack, Barry was gone.
Yanking the receptors from Kal’s skull was no small task, but if anyone could do it, it would be Batman. Bruce carefully pulled the stabilizers from the base of the tube, then quickly removed the blade and squeezed an absorbent gel into the wound. This should hold out, Bruce thought; at least, until we could seek proper medical attention from the Amazonians. If any would pay Clark attention, that is.
Coughing, Superman regained his senses; his vision blurred and his senses overloaded.
“Bruce… did it…?” Clark managed to sputter, the taste of lead spread throughout his mouth.
“Yes, Kal… you did it. The ship has landed about fifty miles from the Fortress… no civilian casualties in the landing,” Wayne soothed, leading Kent to a nearby patch of empty space. After carefully laying Clark’s head down, Bruce rose from the spot and hastily tapped into his gauntlet.
“Diana, Victor, Hal, we need your help up here. Brainiac is gone, but Clark is severely hurt. Medical assistance is necessary.”
Confirmations echoed through the communication channel, but Bruce’s attention could not be pulled from the sight in the corner.
Barry stood unmasked, ripping panelling from the sides of the ship and tearing out massive wires from the innards. He was not calling out in pain, however. He wasn’t sad, or angry. He was laughing. Eerily, the heaving chuckles reminded Bruce of the Joker after his master plan had succeeded five years ago.
“Barry, are you alright? What happened?” Flash spun around to face Batman, his face flushed, and tears streaming down from his eyes.
“He broke us again, Bruce. Brainiac ruined us all. I did the only thing I could do… I ran, and I ran, and I ran, and I chucked that bastard into the end of time, to rot in purgatory.” Barry confessed, buckling to his knees in despair. His forehead was beaded with sweat, and his clammy lips were tremoring with nerves. Bruce had only seen Barry fall into a panic attack twice before; once after Superman’s breakdown, and once after Iris was nearly killed by Zod’s empowered army. Batman quickly removed his cowl, kneeling down next to the trembling man and wrapping his arms around his back. Bruce was not a physically-responsive man, but he knew this was the best way to support Barry at this time. Barry needed malleable recognition to pull himself from the pain.
“Allen, you did the right thing. Clark is safe, I am safe, you are safe. You helped thousands, if not millions of people, from being senselessly killed in an act of intergalactic terror. The team… we’re back, Barry.” As Bruce reassured the desperate speedster, he felt another arm wrap around him and Barry.
“Barry… I am sorry. I am sorry for all of the pain… the suffering I brought to you and the rest of our… our family. My regime… it wasn’t the right way to handle things. You were right in your choice of removing Brainiac. I swear to you… things will be better. We’ll all work together, and we will work under the word of honor we once had. I promise.” Clark’s face began to tighten, tears seeping through his hollowed eyes. He was honest, Bruce noted. He wanted to see a change. There is room in Clark’s heart for a Justice League… maybe my circle of trust can be mended.”

MUN QUESTIONS.
Q1.   if you could write your character your way in their own movie, what would it be called, what style would it be filmed in, and what would it be about? A1.  All I wanted to write was a movie about how good Superman is, and how we need more people like him in the world. Something to show Superman’s essence like the old cartoons of my childhood. I’ve been trying to be a gentle person, a good one because of Superman, so I want the new generation to follow his steps, and make a better world. The style would be adventure, science fiction. I’m not good with names, so -shrugs-.
Q2.   what would their soundtrack / score sound like? A2.   Aww, from Superman TAS, by Shirley Walker (rest in peace). Also, from 70′s Superman’s soundtrack.
Q3.   why did you start writing this character? A3.   To be honest, I never thought I’d be writing Superman one day. It’s a well-known character and very popular. I needed some “light” writing (since I’ve been writing manipulative characters long enough), so I decided to give this character a chance. I also love him a lot. <3
Q4.   what first attracted you to this character? A4.   When I was a kid, I watched Superman TAS, Justice League and I loved Superman (although Batman was my favorite). I grew up with people telling me Superman was too overpowered and too predictable, so I blocked my interest in him until I decided to read comics about him. I saw that people judged his character more because he’s genuinely good, and they prefer reading stories with complicated, even bad characters, because ‘good’ is too boring (-coughs- they prefer Injustice’s Superman -coughs-). Even in real life, I see good people being stepped simply for being good. So, I became very attached to Superman, because I hope one day people will be as good as him. Of course, Superman has negative traits, and that makes him a great char. He’s not flawless as some people say, on the contrary.
Q5.   describe the biggest thing you dislike about your muse. A5.   I don’t think there’s something I dislike about Superman? He has qualities and negative traits, but I like him because of those. That makes him unique.
Q6.   what do you have in common with your muse? A6.   I try to help people, to do the right thing.
Q7.   how does your muse feel about you? A7.   I like to think that Superman’s proud of me for trying to be a better person each day.
Q8.   what characters does your muse have interesting interactions with? A8.  All his inner circle of friends and family like Pa and Ma Kent, Jon Kent, Chris Kent, Lois Lane, Kon-El, Jimmy Olsen, Perry White, Bruce Wayne, Diana of Themyscira, Barry Allen, Hal Jordan, Arthur Curry, Lana Lang, J’onn J’onzz, Steel, etc and, of course, his enemies like Lex Luthor, Brainiac, Metallo, Cyborg Superman, Eradicator, General Zod, Crime Syndicate, Justice Lords, etc.
Q9.   what gives you inspiration to write your muse? A9.   Reading comic books about him, watching his cartoons, sending memes.
Q10.   how long did this take you to complete? A10.   My whole morning. Sorry for not replying my threads yet ahhhhhh!

Who would you call in a pandemic? ( DC Edition)
Who would you call in a Pandemic? ( DC Universe) DC is a whole other universe with amazing line of superheroes. There’s superman, Batman, AquaMan, Wonder Women, Green Lantern, Flash etc. Well let’s discuss who can we call in these scary times of a pandemic! Superman Let’s start from our Man, the main man, SUPERMAN. Well Superman, is the strongest superhero of the DC Universe. He is known for his super strength and the fact that he is an extra terrestrial being, Meaning he is not from earth. Superman was born on the planet Krypton and was given the name Kal-El at birth. As a baby, his parents sent him to Earth in a small spaceship moments before Krypton was destroyed in a natural cataclysm. His ship landed in the American countryside, near the fictional town of Smallville. He was found and adopted by farmers Jonathan and Martha Kent, who named him Clark Kent. Clark developed various superhuman abilities, such as incredible strength and impervious skin. His foster parents advised him to use his abilities for the benefit of humanity, and he decided to fight crime as a vigilante. To protect his privacy, he changes into a colourful costume and uses the alias "Superman" when fighting crime. But well, in this scenario, he can’t do much, unless ofcourse he can fly to another planet, and find us a cure. But oh, that can’t happen. So well his strengths and power are pretty much useless. BatMan Okay, lets talk about the big man, Gotham City’s very own, Mr. BATMAN. So BatMan is Rich, Like not normal rich, filthy rich. Batman's secret identity is Bruce Wayne, a wealthy American playboy, philanthropist, and owner of Wayne Enterprises. Batman originated from an incident in Bruce's childhood; after witnessing the murder of his parents Dr. Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne, he swore vengeance against criminals, an oath tempered by a sense of justice. Bruce trains himself physically and intellectually and crafts a bat-inspired persona to fight crime. Unlike most superheroes, Batman does not possess any inhuman superpowers. He does, however, possess a genius-level intellect and is a peerless martial artist, and his vast wealth affords him an extraordinary arsenal of weaponry and equipment.
Well, he has enough money, sure he’s skilled but can’t find a cure. He can be a hero otherwise, by providing for the less fortunate. That way he can be a hero for real. AquaMan Aquaman is like a sea superhero, who is also half mortal, half superhero.  Monarch of the undersea realm of Atlantis and King of the Seven Seas, Aquaman is one of the most powerful DC Super Heroes—commanding a kingdom that covers three-quarters of the Earth’s surface, including all the creatures contained within. Arthur Curry came from humble beginnings, as most of his life was spent exiled from his home, unaware of his noble origins. When he finally took the throne as an adult, he became the most legendary king in Atlantean history. Well, he can’t do much here, except maybe keep his kingdom under control, so that we don’t die of a natural calamity. Green Lantern Hal Jordan’s life was changed twice by crashing aircraft. The first time was when he witnessed the death of his father, pilot Martin Jordan. The second was when, as an adult and trained pilot himself, he was summoned to the crashed wreckage of a spaceship belonging to an alien named Abin Sur. Abin explained that he was a member of the Green Lantern Corps, an organization of beings from across the cosmos, armed with power rings fueled by the green energy of all willpower in the universe. Upon his death, Abin entrusted his ring and duties as the Green Lantern of Earth’s space sector to Hal Jordan.
Hal’s life as a Green Lantern has not been easy. He’s had to fight not only enemies, but often friends, colleagues and loved ones. But despite the strain his Green Lantern identity has put on his life, Hal is an honest man who can operate without fear, and is always willing to protect those in need—whether alone, with the Corps or alongside the Justice League and Earth’s other Super Heroes. For Hal has sworn the oath of every Green Lantern—that no evil will escape his sight. He can help the government by locking everyone’s door from the outside and delivering the goods at home, without touching them. Coz distancing, am I right? So With this, I would like to say that, the real life superheroes during a pandemic, are the doctors, nurses and the essential workers. The police and everyone who is fighting this virus in the frontlines. I thank each and everyone of you, from the bottom of my heart. You guys are the real life Superheroes.

Manslaughter of Steel: 15 Times Superman Killed Someone
Just a few years after writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster created the character, Superman became an American icon. Largely credited as being the first superhero, Superman’s immense popularity helped to establish the archetype of the superhero that’s dominated American comics throughout the bulk of the medium’s history.
RELATED: The 15 Best (and Worst) Superman Costumes
Today, people the world over immediately recognize Superman as a selfless hero with an unwavering moral code. We think of The Man of Tomorrow as a protector of the innocent, a symbol to aspire to, and as a person who embodies values like righteousness, honor, and virtue. However, Superman wasn’t (and isn’t) always portrayed as a perfect hero. Whether it was due to mind control, in an alternate reality, or when his back was simply up against the wall, there have been multiple times that The Man of Steel took a life.
SUPERMAN KILLS SOUTH AMERICAN SOLDIERS
It wasn’t until the 1940s when Editor Whitney Ellsworth instituted a code of conduct required for every character at National Allied Publications (DC’s name at the time) that Superman started to take on the humanitarian persona he’s known for today. In Siegel and Shuster’s early Superman stories, the character was portrayed as being far more aggressive and at times even ruthless. While he still used his powers to protect the innocent, he rarely seemed concerned with the lives of the criminals he dealt with or the collateral damage that his powers often caused.
In a story called “War in San Monte” from issue #2 of “Action Comics”, Clark Kent is sent on an assignment to the war-torn South American country of San Monte. While there, he finds a man torturing prisoners, and throws him like a javelin over a forest clearing, seemingly to his death. Later that same issue, a San Monte army camp is under attack by an enemy aircraft, so Superman jumps into the propeller of the plane, causing it to crash without the pilot being able to escape by parachute.
SUPERMAN WATCHES A MAN CHOKE TO DEATH
Thanks to Superman’s popularity, “Action Comics” was an immediate hit and, in 1939, just one year after the character’s debut, Superman was given his own solo book (something unheard of at the time) called “Superman” published monthly alongside “Action Comics.”
In a story called “Superman Champions Universal Peace!” featured in “Superman” #2, also by Siegel and Shuster, Superman is trying to track down a deadly poison that’s been stolen so it can be sold to a man named Lubane. After arriving at Lubane’s hideout, Superman crashes through the ceiling and demands Lubane hand over the formula. Unfortunately, his scientists have already had enough time to develop the deadly toxin, so Lubane threatens to drop a vial of it, killing them both if Superman doesn’t leave. When Superman advances, Lubane is startled and drops the vial. As the poison fills his lungs, he pleads for help and wonders aloud why Superman is unaffected. Meanwhile, Superman explains with a grin that the gas has no effect on his physical structure as he watches the man die.
SUPERMAN SLAYS A KRYPTONIAN DRAGON
In “Superman” Vol. 3 #13, Clark has just recently quit his job at the Daily Planet after a confrontation with his boss, Morgan Edge, about the direction of the publication. Clark gives a rousing speech about journalistic integrity hoping to inspire his coworkers to follow him, but we then see Clark out to lunch with his friend Cat Grant, the only other person to walk out with him.
During their lunch, Clark hears something massive that’s fast approaching them. A moment later, we see a giant dragon-like creature known as a Tripedial Curosiananiun soar through the skyscrapers. Despite not wanting to hurt the creature, Clark recognizes that with the amount of destruction it’s already caused, he has no choice but to stop it quickly and for good. He hits it with “a blow that could topple a small mountain,” knocking out its head, before realizing its paws are also sentient. They land a blow that sends him flying all the way to a mining plant in Ireland before with the creature following close behind. When it arrives at the plant, Superman uses his heat vision to set the oil being mined ablaze, incinerating the dragon.
SUPERMAN KILLS MISTER MXYZPTLK
In September, 1986, legendary comic writer Alan Moore collaborated with long-time Superman artist Curt Swan to create the two-part story “Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?” Moore wrote the story as the final chapter for the Silver Age Superman, whose story had been rebooted after the DC Comics event “Crisis On Infinite Earths.”
In part two of the story, featured in “Action Comics” #583, Superman finds himself going toe to toe with Mister MXYZPTLK after realizing he’s been the one behind a recent strings of attacks against Superman that led to the deaths of several of his close friends, including Jimmy Olsen, Lana Lang, and his dog, Krypto. Superman says his name backwards to summon him and Mister MXYZPTLK appears revealing that he’s grown bored of merely annoying Superman, and has decided to see what it’s like to be truly evil.
Transforming from his normal cartoonish appearance to a frightening creature, he attacks, attempting to overpower Superman and kill him. Superman attempts to subdue him with a Phantom Zone projector, but MXYZPTLK reacts by saying his name backward in order to escape to his home dimension, but this tears his body in two separate directions and kills him.
SUPERMAN EXECUTES ZOD AND HIS KRYPTONIAN ALLIES
Without question, one of Superman’s greatest nemeses is the Kryptonian General Zod. While he’s never quite matched up to Lex Luthor as a foil for The Man of Steel, he does have the special honor of being one of the few characters Superman has had to kill on multiple occasions.
In “Superman” Vol. 2 #22 written and illustrated by John Byrne, the Post-Crisis Superman finds himself in a Pocket Dimension where Zod, and his associates Quex-UI and Zaora, have escaped from that universe’s Phantom Zone and killed almost every human being on that universe’s Earth. The only survivors included Lex Luthor, a small rebellion force and that universe’s Supergirl. Superman joins forces with Lex’s rebellion and, using Gold Kryptonite (that he’s immune to since it’s from another dimension), he is able to depower Zod and his companions.
After the remaining humans are wiped out and Lex is mortally wounded, Luthor makes Superman promise to never let what happened to his Earth happen to that of the Man of Steel’s. Left with no alternative, Superman (with a heavy heart) sentences the genocidal Kryptonians to death by exposing them to Green Kryptonite.
SUPERMAN MELTS JOE CHILL
DC’s “Elseworlds” books tell stories of familiar DC heroes set in alternate, non-cannon stories and universes. One such story, “Speeding Bullets,” written by J.M. DeMatteis and drawn by Eduardo Barret, examines what it would be like if Dr. Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne had been the ones to find baby Kal-El instead of the Kents. The Waynes name him Bruce and raise him to be a compassionate person who should use his incredible gifts to aspire to be something greater.
Superman has a happy and normal childhood with the Wayne family for many years until, after an evening out on the town, he lives his own version of Batman’s origin and sees his parents gunned down right in front of him by Joe Chill. When Chill takes a shot at Bruce, the young boy loses control of his powers and, in a fit of rage, melts his assailant’s face with his heat vision, killing him. Bruce is found the next morning by the police “eyes wide and unseeing,” muttering the words “the bullets” to himself over and over.
SUPERMAN KILLS DOOMSDAY
Much like Zod, the ultimate killing machine, Doomsday has been taken out by Superman multiple times since his debut in 1992 (only to come back stronger each time). However, no clash between the two titans could ever be as iconic as their original “final” battle, the conclusion of the “Death of Superman” arc (in “Superman” Vol. 2 #75 by writer/artist Dan Jurgens and artist Brett Breeding). Doomsday had made a path of destruction devastating cities all across America, so Superman pledged that the carnage would stop in his home city of Metropolis one way or another. After getting one last kiss from Lois and telling her he’ll always love her, Superman rushed back into battle.
The army tried to assist Superman to no avail, as the two fought to the death in front of the Daily Planet. They traded blows until Superman finally managed to break Doomsday’s neck, but not before taking a fatal blow himself. The issue closes with reactions from Superman’s friends and family as Lois cradles his dead body in her arms, begging him to hold on for an ambulance.
SUPERMAN SHATTERS THE CYBORG SUPERMAN
Following our last entry, Superman remained dead for about half of an arc known as “Reign of the Supermen” which established the superheroes Steel and the Kon-El incarnation of Superboy. The storyline showed both Steel and Superboy, as well as the Cyborg Superman and The Last Son of Krypton (better known as the Eradicator) competing for the mantle of Superman in the aftermath of Clark Kent’s death. It’s revealed over the course of the arc that Cyborg Superman is actually the villainous Henry Henshaw, and along with the alien warlord Mongul, he destroyed Coast City, the home of Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern.
We eventually see the true Superman return in “Action Comics” #689 (although without powers) before we see him fully retake the mantle in “Superman” Vol. 2 #82, written and drawn by Dan Jurgens. Upon returning to his normal self, the very first thing Superman does is take his cape back from Cyborg Superman, punch him through the chest and vibrate his arm fast enough to shatter Henshaw’s entire body into pieces.
SUPERMAN STRANDS IMPERIEX AND BRAINIAC AT THE BEGINNING OF TIME
In the 2001 crossover event, “Our Worlds At War,” Imperiex, the living embodiment of entropy, has detected imperfections in the fabric of the Universe following the events of “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” As a result, he targets New Earth (the center point which holds the new universe together) to destroy it and cause a new big bang, allowing him to create a new, perfect universe.
While making his way to Earth, he annihilates countless planets and even entire galaxies, posing such a great threat that Earth’s heroes strike up an uneasy alliance with Darkseid and a legion of other villains. One such villain uniting against Imperiex is Brainiac 13, who, after a successful attack on Imperiex, betrays the coalition and absorbs Imperiex’s energy for himself with the plan of using it to take over the universe.
In “Action Comics” #782, written by Joe Kelly and drawn by Kano, Earth’s collective forces make one final desperate attempt to save the universe from the combined power of Imperiex and Brainiac. Using their combined efforts, they’re able to give Superman a chance to push them through a temporal boom tube, abandoning the pair at the exact moment of the Big Bang, where they are destroyed.
SUPERMAN VAPOPRIZES GREEN ARROW
In an arc known as “Superman/Batman: Absolute Power,” the 31st Century’s Legion of Super-Villains’ members Lightning Lord, Saturn Queen, and Cosmic King go back in time and eliminate key members of the Justice League. That’s excluding a young Superman and Bruce Wayne, whom they raise as their sons.
In the arc’s first issue, “Superman/Batman” #14 by writer Jeph Loeb and artist Carlos Pacheco, we see that by present day, Superman and Batman have been conditioned to become the undisputed dictators of the world by manipulating the economy and killing all of their opposition. In that same issue, we see firsthand that, as a gift for Superman’s birthday, Batman has tracked down one of the few remaining vigilantes, the Green Arrow. The pair arrive in Star City and hunt down the Green Arrow, who thanks to a well-placed Kyrptonite arrow, is initially able to hold his own. However, after landing one too many good shots on Batman, the fun is over and he is vaporized by Superman’s heat vision.
SUPERMAN STRANGLES WONDER WOMAN WITH HER LASSO
Later that same arc, in “Superman/Batman” #15, Wonder Woman has tracked down Uncle Sam in hopes of saving the “Age of Heroes” that the Amazonian “fates” have described. After recovering the Green Lantern’s Power Ring so Sam can take up the mantle, the two find surviving members of Sam’s team the Freedom Fighters including Phantom Lady, The Ray, Doll Man, and The Human Bomb who are living civilian lives and plan their attack.
During their assault on one of Superman and Batman’s strongholds, Wonder Woman does her best to reason with Batman, explaining that in the unaltered timeline, Batman and Superman were counted among humanity’s greatest protectors. However, her words fall on deaf ears. When it’s apparent there’s no talking to him, Wonder Woman makes the decision to cut him down. Enraged by the loss of his brother, Superman viciously attacks her before choking her to death with her Lasso of Truth.
SUPERMAN VAPORIZED DR. LIGHT
Tensions were running high in “Justice League” Vol. 2 #22 by writer Geoff Johns and artist Ivan Reis. Shazam had traveled to the war-torn region of Kahndaq to spread the ashes of his enemy Black Adam despite their government warning Americans not to travel there. When the urn is destroyed by members of the military firing on him, he loses control, preparing to attack the soldiers. He’s intercepted by Superman and the Justice League who demand to know why Shazam is here. Before they get an answer, they’re interrupted by the government-organized JLA, who inform the Justice League they are there to escort them out of the country since Kahndaq believes it is being invaded.
It’s then that the JLA’s newest recruit, Dr. Light, loses control of his light absorbing powers thanks to Superman’s natural ability to absorb solar energy. After accidentally hitting Wonder Woman (who at the time was Supes’ girlfriend), Dr. Light is grabbed by Superman, who then vaporizes his head with heat vision. We later find out that Superman had Kyrptonite inserted into his optic nerve, so he wasn’t responsible for the murder, but Dr. Light’s death is very much real.
SUPERMAN ACCIDENTALLY KILLS LOIS LANE
“Injustice: Gods Among Us” is the prequel comic to the 2013 video game of the same name, detailing the five years leading up to the events of the game’s story Superman having taken over the world. However, in “Injustice: Gods Among Us” #1 by writer Tom Taylor and artists Axel Giménez, Mike S. Miller and Jheremy Raapack, Superman is still the hero we know and love.
The issue has Jimmy shot by The Joker, who also kidnapped Lois. Superman arrives to find Joker and Harley Quinn wearing gas masks and operating on Lois. Horrified, and also seeing them accompanied by Doomsday, he immediately begins flying the beast up into space to protect Lois and the baby (it’s revealed earlier in the issue that she’s pregnant). After arriving shortly after, Batman is able to piece together that the Joker used Scarecrow’s fear toxin laced with Kryptonite to make Superman hallucinate.
Batman frantically tries to warn him over their communicators, but it’s too late. Superman comes to his senses only to realize he’s killed his wife and unborn child. Things take an even worse turn when the Joker reveals the operation they were performing was turning Lois into a detonator for a nuclear bomb, and as her heart stops beating, Metropolis explodes.
SUPERMAN PUTS HIS FIST THROUGH THE JOKER
Following the events of the previous entry, issue #2 of “Injustice: Gods Among Us,” by writer Tom Taylor and artists Mike S. Miller and Bruno Redondo, picks up with a devastated Superman kneeling in the wreckage of what was once Metropolis as he cradles Lois’ body. Wonder Woman arrives and tries to console him by reassuring Superman that this was the Joker’s fault. Superman then asks her to hold Lois’ body before taking off and telling Wonder Woman that he’ll be back soon.
Green Lantern intercepts him and tries to convince his friend not to face the Joker so as to avoid risking doing something he’ll regret, but he’s unable to stop Superman from getting to the Gotham prison where Batman is interrogating the Joker. Superman bursts through the wall, pushes Batman aside, and places his arm through the Joker’s chest. The Clown Prince of Crime dies with a maniacal grin on his face as Batman looks on in horror.
SUPERMAN KILLS GREEN ARROW (AGAIN)
Several issues later in “Injustice: Gods Among Us” #11, by writer Tom Taylor and artists Tom Derenick, Jheremy Raapack, and Bruno Redondo, Batman has formed an Insurgency with some of the other heroes who refuse to follow Superman. After learning about an experimental super-pill that Lex Luthor has developed in hopes of giving Superman a superhuman army, Batman plans an attack on the Fortress of Solitude in collaboration with the President of the United States, in an effort to steal some of the pills being kept there.
The President violates Superman’s worldwide ceasefire by sending U.S. Naval forces to attack Korea, a diversion giving Batman, Captain Atom, Catwoman, Black Canary, and Green Arrow a chance to break into the Fortress of Solitude. After a clash outside with Captain Atom, Superman returns to the Fortress to deal with the only Insurgency member left inside: Green Arrow. During his fight with Superman, Ollie hits him with an arrow that ricochets off his chest and hits Johnathan Kent in the shoulder. Infuriated that his adoptive father was wounded, we see Superman beat Green Arrow to death from Arrow’s perspective.
Which of Superman’s kills did you find the most shocking? Let us know in the comments!
