His manic laughter echoed through your head. The look of pure insanity in his eyes, as he’s running toward you scythe out ready to cut you. You jolted up right in your bed as sweat beaded down your face. Your heart was beating what felt like a million miles a second and you were breathing heavily, panting out of breath. You quickly flip the light on next to you and look around the room. Of course, it’s safe. Your home. You made it out of that hell hole but the trauma  it caused you life long affects. You had almost been killed by Zack while you were in there. This left you to jump at the slightest noises and become so scared of sharp objects and the color brown that it made life very difficult at times. You could hardly leave the house without having a break down. You swear you saw him everywhere, and yet at the same time you didn’t. You kept trying to convince yourself it was your mind playing tricks on you. That’s all. You cuddled up dimming the light but not turning it off as you calmed yourself. You were almost asleep when you heard it the door shut on its own. You shot up and immediately looked only to see him staring at you. You were so scared you couldn’t move you couldn’t scream, nothing. You were completely frozen in fear. “I told you I’d find you doll. Time for me to cut you open”…

Bakugo as your boyfriend

It had been several weeks since Midoriya had saved your life that night. You hadn’t run into him since. You did try buzzing the apartment and even knocking on the door, but it was no avail. Though you hadn’t seen him since, you couldn’t help but think about him. Every time you saw green you thought it was him. It never was… Life was finally getting back to normal and you were finally settling back down from being on high alert due to the incident. That didn’t end up lasting for long.

Today was your last exam for the year and you were desperate for a break. You couldn’t wait to go cuddle up in your apartment and relax. You opened the door and walked in shutting it as you turned on the light. As you turned around you stopped dead in your tracks. Your house was in complete shambles. It had been completely destroyed. It looked as if a bomb had exploded. Knock knock knock. You heard someone at your door. To scared to answer you called out, “W-who’s there?” “It’s me, Izuku.” You heard the familiar voice of the green-haired boy from that night. You sighed with relief as you opened the door. “Wow, redecorating? Looks good.” He was clearly teasing you as he shoot you a smile. You decided to tell him what happened, I mean you could trust him. After all he had already saved you life once. “My apartment… I came back to it like this after my exams today. Someone was here and they weren’t happy.” “Do you want me to look around ? See if there is anything to worry about?” “It’s okay I would hate to trouble you.” “It’s not a problem at all.” With that Izuku took a look around before suddenly rushing out grabbing you in the process and pulling you out of the apartment. “What is it Izuku? Why are you suddenly acting weird?” “You’re staying at my place until further notice. We need to call the police NOW.” “Izuku please explain what’s happening.” He didn’t say anything else at the time, just dragged you up a flight of stairs and down the hall to his apartment. He didn’t say anything about why the sudden rush out of the apartment until the police arrived. Apparently the man from the night Izuku saved you had found you, followed you and while you were away destroyed the apartment. Then he sat in the closet waiting for you to come home to finish what he had started that night. Izuku saw the man (though he managed not to be spotted by the man). The police checked the apartment, he was gone by the time they arrived. Izuku had now saved your life twice and now you were going to be living with him. This was bound to be interesting.

Part 3????

Vigilantism wasn’t something anyone in the Hero course thought they could understand. I mean a vigilante is still just a criminal, right? Even if they have a “good” or “noble” reason for doing what they did. It was against the law so why did they need to know anything else? That was until he came along. The vigilante Izuku Midoriya. He was once a fellow classmate, training to become a hero named Deku. He was training to be the hero, All Might’s successor. Yet, now here he was possibly throwing all of that away, fighting as a vigilante, giving up everything he dreamed of. Why risk losing everything? Why fight as a vigilante? Maybe they just didn’t understand vigilantes like they thought they did, or maybe they just didn’t know Midoriya. Knowing Izuku and trusting him meant maybe vigilantes weren’t as bad as they seemed and maybe they just needed to give him a chance. A chance to explain everything. If only they could track him down…

Sign

Bakugo X Reader (platonic to romantic?)

Sign language. It was not something many people you knew could speak. You had taken it upon yourself to learn after coming across a deaf person and feeling helpless when trying to communicate with them (it was in the middle of the subway and you didn’t have pen and paper on you). It ended up being way more useful than you thought and you even taught your siblings so you all could communicate without most people knowing what you were saying.

This also ended up being helpful in hero work. Because you knew sign your hand signal communication with your team was amazing (though they only knew the signs for the mission and couldn’t speak sign). Now your friends and classmates picked up on this during your years at U.A. Most were so busy with hero training or just didn’t have the patience and desire to learn. But one student, though he didn’t tell you. He took the time to learn sign. He learned because he wanted to be the best and he could see this would help him toward that goal (he also wanted to know what you were talking about with your siblings, he was sure you were talking about him and he wanted to know why).

What nobody knew was just how important sign would be one day. In the fateful day it happened. Gillian’s were attacking left and right you, Deku, Kirishima, Bakugo, and some others were all working to fight them off. Bakugo told you guys to get back as he sent one last massive blast finishing off the villains. This was the biggest blast he’d ever sent and in the area you were fighting echo was horrible. The sound of the blast echoed for what felt like an eternity. When the ruble settled and the sound had died down everyone ran to check on Bakugo, but when they got there they were shocked to find him holding his head.

Blood was dripping from one ear and all he could hear was ringing. You guys all tried calling out to him with no response. He could see your lips moving but couldn’t hear a thing. You decided to try signing, though you were sure he wouldn’t know what you were saying. To your surprise he responded signing that he needed help as he couldn’t hear anything other than a loud ringing.

After getting help his ears ended up being okay and the hearing loss temporary, but you all saw the importance of knowing sign. It also gave you a glimpse of what could be the future of Bakugo isn’t more careful.

He ended up getting some ear plugs to help with the noise and everyone took sign classes just in case. Battles can have loud noise and so Bakugo wasn’t the only one at risk, his quirk just made him more likely.

You ended up talking to him and asking him about learning sign. You told him why you learned sign and you two bonded over it. (Slowly drifting into love)

Megumi was what most would consider a "grump" . He wasn't the best with his feelings, but honestly who really is? What most people never see though is that he wasn't really a grump. At least not around you. He has one of the most beautiful smiles you have ever seen and he is quick to take notice of your mood and be there however you needed him. Whether that was a person to vent to or a shoulder to cry on Megumi was always there for you. His laugh was music to your ears and with you he did that quite often. Megumi wasn't a grump or out of touch with his emotions like most thought, he was just an introvert. You understood this and made sure to make him as comfortable as possible around you. Only you got to see the real Megumi and you cherished that with your whole heart. He was your forever.

You had known Shoto since high school. You two had met back in first year. He was always very shut off and hard to read. You didn't know much about him except for the fact that he was Endeavor's son who got good grades and got in on recommendation. You also knew he was very strong and wielded two quirks; fire and ice. Besides that you never knew much about him for a long time. You had been in battle together and fought for your lives, yet you never really knew him. That was at least until you two crossed paths for a mission as pro's. The mission required a lot of time together. You eventually got him to open up. He opened up about being Endeavor's kid and the reason he was made. He opened up about the effects the war had on him and why he was a very closed off person. You realized he wasn't a cold person, at least not intentionally. He was just guarded. It didn't take long after that, that you found yourself falling for the two-toned hair, heterochromic boy. Little did you know he was thinking the same thing. All those late night talks had really melted him ice walls around his heart. Now if only one of you would make a move.

You’d been in the same class as Oikawa since middle school. You two were polar opposites in every way. You were introverted and pessimistic while Oikawa was extraverted and optimistic . You were always dressed in black, while Oikawa was very colorful. He was athletic and you were not. Anything you two could be opposites about you were. So how did you ever end up friends with him? Well let’s just say you were sure your teachers absolutely loved torturing you. It all started back in middle school with you two being paired together for a project. It didn’t stop there though, it seemed after that your teachers were always finding a reason to have you two work together. This little thing carried over into high school. Now after being paired together so much you were bound to become friends. You ended up really liking his company and you realized there was way more to him than just his pretty setter “fame”. Now being friends with Oikawa meant Iwaizumi as well. They were a package deal. Now though you and Iwaizumi had more in common then you and Oikawa (i.e. you both liked the same music, similar movies, and had similar color palettes for dressing) you two were still pretty close to opposites. The three of you were really close and you quite liked hanging out with them. Having weekend movie marathons at Oikawa’s house binging the Godzilla movies or Alien Documentaries were some of your favorite memories. You though not one to care much about sports found yourself at there games more and more until you were always there at every game. You quite enjoyed seeing them two play the chemistry on the court was phenomenal and way different from them normally. Now what most people didn’t realize was just how hard being friends with them was. Why? Well once you guys hit high school Oikawa had fans popping up left and right. By second year he had a whole fan club. He quite liked his fans but he never saw the dark side. You were normally bullied not a lot but some back in middle school for being weird, dark, different. Now though, his fan girls were ruthless. It started small but when you seemed unbothered it quickly became physical. They’re push you or shove you or trip you just because you were friends with Oikawa. They would constantly harass you. It was getting really bad, but you didn’t want to ruin your friend’s happiness so you stuck it out. Until one day… The girls had caught you on your way to the gym and like usual were braiding you about why you’re not good enough to be around Oikawa. As you tried to walk past one girl shoved you and when you didn’t fall a second girl shoved you again causing you to fall. While they did this they continued hurling insults until they heard a voice. “Get out of here now and leave her the HELL alone.” Terrified the girls fled without another word. You sat there looking down at the ground. “Please don’t tell him.” Iwaizumi offered you his hand helping you up. “Why? You don’t deserve that.” “He deserves to be happy.” Frustration lacked in Iwaizumi’s voice as he said “So do you. He deserves to know.”After a bit more arguing you agree to tell Oikawa everything. You two stood there looking at each other in since when Iwaizumi finally spoke again. “Um… by the way, what they said… you know it’s not true right. You’re the most beautiful person I know.” “Iwa… I can I be honest?” “Sure.” “I don’t want to ruin our friendship dynamic but I have feelings for you.” “Really?” “Yes. I know a lot of people were expecting me to fall for ‘Shittykawa’ but it’s you.” “Funny enough… I like you too.” You two ended up starting to date not long after that and Oikawa did not take the news well. “WHAT MY BEST FRIENDS ARE DATING NOW I HAVE TO THIRD WHEEL ALL OUR HANG OUTS!!”Though he wined a lot he was the most supportive of the relationship and thought how he couldn’t wait to be the best man at your wedding someday. He was happy for the two of you because you both deserve the world.

Dating the number one pro came with a lot of responsibility. The news constantly had their eye on him on you on the relationship. They were looking for any reason to rip him to shreds but also any reason to boost him up. This was a lot to handle for one person and you tried to help him bare as much of the weight as possible, but you could only do so much. He was All Might’s successor, the new symbol of peace and justice. That was a lot to handle. This led to Deku making less and less time for you but more importantly less and less time for himself. He was pulling long hours working 12 to 14 hours a day 7 days a week. And if he wasn’t at the office, on a mission, or patrolling he was on call; ready to jump into action the second he was needed. After months of this you could see it was really taking a toll on him. His mental and emotional health were going down the drain. His physical health was starting to faulter as well. He had dark bags under his eyes and was covered in so many bruises and cuts from all the fights he had been in recently. His hair was always a mess, and he wasn’t eating nearly enough. You’d finally had enough, you were going to have a serious talk with him about all of this, tonight. You had tried to bring it up several times before, but he always assured you he was fine and brushed past it. You weren’t taking no for an answer today.

You heard the jingle of his keys as he unlocked the door to the apartment. “Hey love, I’m home.” “I’m in the kitchen.” You were waiting. It was now or never. “Hey, love how was- “Izuku stopped mid-sentence as he entered the kitchen. You sat at the table waiting for him with a very serious look in your face. “Love, what’s wrong?” concern laced Izuku’s voice. “We need to talk. Please sit down.” He sat down visibly nervous. In ways you found it funny seeing the worlds new symbol of peace so afraid of you. I mean you were MUCH smaller than him and your quirk was in no means even comparable to his. “Izu we need to have a serious discussion.” “Love I’m sorry, whatever I did to upset you please, forgive me. You know I would never upset you on purp-“ You cut him off as you reached across the table to grab is hand. “Izu I’m not mad. I just want talk to you about work.” “Work?” “Yes Izu. Work. You keep avoiding me and saying your fine and your not and I will not accept that answer anymore. You are struggling. I can see it. The stress and pressure is really getting to you. From your hair to your eyes to the fact you don’t even eat dinner with me most nights anymore. I can see it in the way you fight, the way you present yourself, the way you act. I mean you come home shower sleep maybe 4-5 hours get up work out and go back to the office again. Your NOT taking care of yourself Izu. Seeing you like this hurts. I want to help you.” Izuku was silent for a moment. “Your right… I am struggling.” Tears start to form in the corners of his eyes as he speaks. “I was always taught to put others first and to be a symbol, a hero everyone could look up too. I was built to take All Might’s place, but it’s much harder than it seems.” “I know love, but if you don’t take care of yourself now, you won’t be here to take care of others later.” “Your right love, and I’m sorry. I have been neglectful to both you and myself. I will make it up to you.” “Izu. I understand. I know your busy being the worlds greatest hero.” “Thanks. I’m going to go call out tomorrow so we can spend the whole day relaxing.” “No need. I already made arrangements. Bakugo and Shoto are going to split taking over some extra work while you’re gone. The office gave you a whole week off. I wasn’t the only one who noticed you pushing yourself to much. Those two did as well. I believe Bakugo’s exact words were ‘Icyhot and I have got this covered. Get the damn nerd to take time off before he kills himself.’ Those two really care about you. As do I, so please spend the week with me?” “Sure my love. I’ll try to cut back some on hours when I go back as well.” “Thanks Izu. Now lets eat so we can go to bed.”

You knew he loved you, you knew the man you saw that day wasn’t your boyfriend but the nightmares still remained. After a few minutes more of him holding you whispering sweet nothing to you, you both curled up and went back to sleep.
