Rewatching SG-1 has reminded me of a Tales of Symphonia xOver idea I had that I'd still like to write.
It'd ignore the Tales of Symphonia sequel, so no Dawn of the New World stuff going on here. Instead, a few years post Tales of Symphonia and the reunification of the two world of Sylvarant and Tethe'alla into the single world of Aselia, an archeological dig in Tethe'alla discovers an outpost in the mountains that predates the Kharlan War and the civilizations involved by thousands of years.
It's not ancient Elven technology from their migration to the world from space either and likely predates even that long ago event - and the Elves are related to the Nox, though whether that comes up or not... at least it's world building, right? I considered the Ancients... but I like the Nox better for this. Anywho, the current Elves are an offshoot of the Nox who've lost their history and had somewhat divergent evolution from being on a completely different planet from the other Nox for so long.
It's Ancient technology, but with the Elves having forgotten their history they can't identify it anymore than the human and half-elven historians or archaeologists can. They've even consulted the Summon Spirits, but if they know then they aren't telling. And they do seem to know something.
Seles is fascinated. She's gotten interested in archaeology - Zelos blames Raine, who of course wouldn't see why being interested in old stuff would be so boring to him. But Zelos is trying to be supportive so he's shown up at the dig site.
There's a giant stone circle inside and that Zelos does find interesting. Its made up of a foreign material similar to exspheres, but it's clearly refined the same way exspheres were. While it's still somehow being powered - though they've yet to successfully activate it - it's clear the power source is external and stored in capacitors, not imbued with the power of a human life sacrificed to it's production.
That's when an offworld activation occurs and a Goa'uld and his army shows up. Zelos manages to hide Seles, but then he and two others are 'selected' similar to how Sha're and Skara are in the episode Children of the Gods.
On another world now, Zelos manages to befriend one of the Jaffa guards. Not enough to be snuck out, but enough that Zelos is pretty sure he's not going to get killed by this guy when things inevitably get worse. A selection is going on and, as Mekel explains, the Goa'uld - gods, but not really and isn't that a familiar situation for Zelos to be in? - are selecting new hosts. They're parasites. And that's when Zelos realizes he's in more trouble than he realized.
And so is Mekel and anyone else if Zelos gets 'Chosen'. The Chappa'ai (Stargate) is made of the similar-to-exspheres element. And so is the tech the Jaffa use - and thus the Goa'uld use. And, according to Mekel, the Goa'uld and Jaffa have that element - naquadah - in their blood stream. It's similar enough to exspheres that just being surrounded by so much of it makes Zelos able to feel his now-dormant powers again (dormant ever since he stopped using his angelus crystal) but not enough to actually use those powers.
He's pretty sure if he gets possessed? Those powers will be back and in the control of a wannabe god. Not good.
Mekel is not thrilled to learn this either. He may believe the Goa'uld are false gods, but they're still ridiculously powerful. Giving even one of them more power??? Could only be a bad thing. He's not sure he believes this isn't a ploy on Zelos' part to try and get away safely, but he does like Zelos now so... he decides to help Zelos escape. In doing so they discover a Tok'ra prisoner and after a short explanation about the Tok'ra vs Goa'uld divide, they decide to take him along.
The three of them jump a few planets and Zelos laments that he doesn't know his own world's address to go home. They'd be safe there. Though he's also hoping that they've somehow disabled the gate to prevent further incursions, though he knows Lloyd will be beyond pissed if the King chooses to abandon Zelos and the others to their fate that way.
They realize they didn't get away clean when an Ashrak injures the Tok'ra - Jeren and... I admit I don't have a name for his host in mind yet. They're too badly injured. Jeren could survive in a new host, but it's too late for his current one. Mekel refuses to become a Tok'ra host. If there were a way for him to be free of his symbiote without dying, he'd take it in a heartbeat... except for this. Which Jeren assures Mekel that he understands.
Zelos volunteers. He's come to trust Jeren and he knows the information Jeren seeks to take to the Tok'ra is important. It's just temporary, after all. Until a new host can be found, anyway.
As Zelos suspected, being bonded with Jeren revives his old exsphere/angelus crystal granted powers. He can't bring out his wings, but he's able to call on Judgement and some of his other high-level spells. And when the Ashrak strikes again, the three of them are able to kill the Goa'uld assassin this time.
But even with Zelos' healing powers restored, he never had Raine's gift for Resurrection and so Jeren's previous host is too far gone even for Zelos to heal even now. At least with the Ashrak dead, the man is avenged and they're able to safely seek out the current Tok'ra safe house by contacting another Tok'ra spy who knows where to send them.
The Tok'ra are fascinated by Zelos' powers but also relieved its not something they can replicate. Because if they can't, the Goa'uld can't either. And unfortunately the Tok'ra don't have a way to send Zelos home yet because they don't have the address to his world either.
When a new guy volunteers to become Jeren's host, Zelos decides he likes the partnership and stays Jeren's host after all. Mekel offers his services to the Tok'ra specifically to protect Zelos and Jeren. If the Goa'uld became aware of Zelos' powers, they'd seek to capture him and remove Jeren in order to take his body for themselves.
A few years later, Egeria is discovered and Zelos is brought in to try and use his unusual powers to heal her. He's met SG-1 once or twice before and Mekel and Teal'c have a mutual respect for each other going on. Zelos does manage to heal Egeria enough to stabilize her for travel, but she needs the care of her people going forward - she needs a host. But doing so meant revealing his abilities to SG-1.
Egeria fixes the flaws in Tretonin and Mekel jumps at the chance to try it. And after talking things over with SG-1, Zelos and Jeren tell Mekel they want to request they be assigned as a sort of permanent liaison to the SGC. Mekel likes this idea so they go through with it. Jacob and Selmak think it'll be a great fit.
Admittedly my ideas for this verse skip around a bit. Zelos, Jeren, and Mekel verses an Ori Prior would be very interesting to see happen. At some point they'd make contact with Aselia and Zelos is able to see his sister and friends again. Also... Lloyd and Colette kicking Ori ass with their angel powers, as some of the few still utilizing angelus crystals, would be a great deal of fun.

This idea would not leave me alone until i wrote it down
SUMMARY:
“IT’S OFFICIAL. I’M GAY!”
Raph choked on air.
“I’m gay and hardcore crushing on my best friend! Why didn’t any of you tell me?!”
There was rustling and Raph turned to see the console group passing around money.
“You bet on if I was gay!”
“No, we bet on when you would announce it,” that was Other-Donnie.
“And we bet on when you would realize you were into him. When was that exactly?” Other-Mikey said.
“Oh my god.”
“Oh by the way the multiverse is real and our counterparts are over there.”
“OH NO. You,” Leo pointed at them, “are not stealing my moment!”

Jujutsu Kaisen × Hero Academia Crossover AU where the Jujutsu Sorcerer Community is actually a Vigilante Serial Killer Cult
Okay, bear with me for a second here—
Consider: a sort of universe-fusion where JJK takes place in the BNHA universe, but...! Curses are not real. I repeat, curses do not exist.
The Sorcerer community is a cult made up of people who believe that Villains with mutant quirks are Curses, while the more anthropomorphic Villains are Curse Users.
They believe that destroying (i.e. killing) Curses exorcises them, and that Curse Users deserve the same fate. They believe that doing so is their civic duty as Jujutsu Sorcerers, and they groom their children to do the same.
Their community is highly secretive (supposedly because the public would not understand or be able to handle the "truth" of curses) and their children are kept cut-off from society as they're growing up, until they're old enough to attend Jujutsu Tech and start going on "missions" of their own to "exorcise" "curses".
A fanfic based in this AU would ideally start shortly before the protagonist is meant to attend Jujutsu High, when there is a major police bust and most of the cult are finally put under arrest for their crimes (serial murder, mainly).
The adult cult members would be put under arrest, while the younger ones will be evaluated based on whether they had "exorcised" anyone yet, and for the ones who haven't — they would be relocated and rehabilitated, and placed in foster care and sent to ordinary high schools that are willing to take them in.
For example: A raid is launched on Jujutsu Tech and the compounds of the main clans — all at the same time, so that no one has the chance to warn anyone else or escape.
Eraserhead and Tsukauchi are involved in the raid on the Gojō compound specifically, and while they're putting everyone under arrest a child — about fourteen or fifteen years old — suddenly appears out of nowhere.
He has white hair and eyes like the sky and is wearing a matching yukata. He is also eerily calm considering Aizawa is currently kneeling on the back of one of his family members, who is cuffed and spitting.
When the man on the ground sees him he orders the child to free him and "exorcise the curse users". The child blinks back, before turning to Aizawa and Tsukauchi to ask, "What are you doing?"
They (awkwardly) explain that the (adult) clan members are under arrest for serial murder, etc.
The kid asks what will happen to him. They explain that as he is an innocent child he will be placed with a foster parent, rehabilitated, and admitted to an eligible high school come fall.
The kid... smiles. Says, "OK!"
...He seems weirdly excited...?
(They don't know this yet, but little Gojō Satoru is positively ecstatic. He's gonna be free from his overbearing relatives?! He's gonna get to go to an ordinary high school and have a real high school experience with sports festivals and fairs and clubs?! He's gonna be able to do practically whatever he wants — have fun and eat sweets and goof off?! This is the best day of his life!)
(Gojō doesn't know this yet, but when Nedzu hears about him and his abilities an offer is going to be put forth for Gojō to attend UA...
If he passes the Hero Entrance Exam — which, of course he will — he will be admitted into the Hero Course as a first-year alongside students such as Midoriya Izuku, Todoroki Shōto, and Bakugō Katsuki.)
Other characters this could work with:
Young Fushiguro Megumi, abandoned by Toji. Perhaps he was just recently sold to taken in by the Zen'in Clan right before they got raided.
Quirkless Zen'in Maki, neglected by her so-called "family" but not about to let that stop her from getting stronger than any of them.
Itadori Yuuji, owner of a mild strength enhancement quirk, is victimized by a powerful pseudo-immortality quirk and gets sort of "possessed" after which the Sorcerers find him and forcefully induct him into the cult, telling him that he will eventually have to be executed... Until of course the police and heroes finally show up to arrest all of them.
A jaded Getou Suguru (shortly before he has his mental breakdown and massacres a village) is tired of risking his life and the lives of his friends killing exorcising Curses and Curse Users, when suddenly the school is raided and everyone put under arrest for serial murder — and goddammit, he didn't even want to do this shit anyway! Not anymore!
He's taken in by the Pro Heroes after they discover how he was lured into the cult as a kid and they work diligently to de-program him, giving him extensive therapy for all the shit he went through—and by god, he is so much happier now.
Etc, etc. ♡

I’m not here to discourage fanfiction. If anything I wanna encourage it. So I’m not calling any soecific story out.
But I wanna just honestly say that I don’t think I’ve ever seen a crossover Fanfiction of any teen media with the Justice League where Superman actually gets written accurately.
Maybe it’s just the ones I read? Nah. It’s just the nature of crossover fics where Fanon trumps Canon.

TDP/ATLA Crossover - What if Tui rescued Runaan from the coin, and made him protect the Southern Water Tribe. Southern Water Tribe Runaan AU?
I've been stewing on this Fanfic prompt for a while.
It's pretty much the title. Right before Viren puts Runaan in the coin, Tui (moon spirit from ATLA), and then offers him a deal. She'd free Runaan from the assassins' binding on his arm, and send him back home, if Runaan would guard the southern water tribe until the avatar was revived.
So, when the choice was between, go on this mission and then return home, or go back to the exact moment he was pulled from and suffer at the hands of a dark mage, Runaan selects the former. Our stabby elf gets tossed into the frozen south, and ends up having to reluctantly protect a tribe of humans for the next 2 years.
After the tribe is told that Runaan was sent by Tui (their practical goddess), they all believe that he's a spirit, or at the least spirit-touched, warrior. Runaan never really corrects them, because he doesn't really care about what humans think of him, and with his horns and ears their is little he can do to prove their beliefs otherwise. Runaan trains their warriors in return for food and shelter. Including Sokka, because the young boy desperately needs more role models in his life, and his energy reminds the elf of Rayla (Runaan's practial daughter). He also bonds with Katara, allowing the young girl to braid his hair once he's sure she won't use it in dark spells, (and helps her learn water-bending, if Tui decided to give Runaan water-bending,. 50/50 chance on the Au).
Runaan also grows to be a close friend to Hakoda (Friend people, Friend, not anything more. Runaan might be gay but he is also married). So, much so that Runaan is left the defacto leader/protector (underneath Kanna of course) of the village once all the men leave for war. Our stabby Elf proceeds to teach every eager wife, and daughter to kick butt, because THEY ARE AT WAR, AND EVERY ABLE ADULT SHOULD AT LEAST BE ABLE TO DEFENC THEMSELVES. WOMAN OR MAN!
Once Aang wakes up, Runaan joins the kids on their journey as per the deal he made with Tui, "protect the village, then protect the champion and finally bring balance". He becomes the reluctant tired dad of the group, even thought he denies it all the way.
By the time that They reach the northpole, Runaan is not impressed by the northern tribes mannerisms. He does not agree with the level of sexism, and the cruel treatment of Katara, whom might as well be his niece at this point. So, he gets petty. Using the human assumption that he was spirit sent by Tui, he starts talking to and training Princess Yue in combat (Much to her father's and the elder's displeasure) and slowly convincing her to rebel against her father's control. He encourages katara, to go off on Master Paku, help's sokka show off infront of the other soldiers, and makes every single petty jab and remark he can against the elders.
In the end, Runaan stabs Zhao, before he can kill the Moon Spirit, and both he and Aang, end up fusing with Tui and La respectively to defeat the Fire Navy invading the north. Yue lives and runs away from her arranged marriage to Join the Gaang and be with Sokka.
That's as much of a solid plot as I have.
the AU ends with Runaan fading into moonlight and returning to Xadia.
So, is this a good idea?

5 + 1 Fic Friday Roundup: Crossover Pairings (ft. Jason Todd)
It was going to just be rare pairings or crossover pairings (which tend to be rare by default) but I had a bunch of Jason Todd ones so ... enjoy!
Shake the Devil Out of Me (AO3) - "The first time Jason sees Phil Coulson, he sees him in the soft, flickering light of a warehouse fire. It’s romantic, he thinks, later. Like candlelight."
This Used to be a Funhouse (AO3) - "Jason Todd's new neighbor has something off about him, something that Jason just cant put a finger on. And as they actually start to become friends, and Jason spends more time around the enigma that seems to be Percy Jackson, he comes to the only logical conclusion. Percy has to be an assassin."
Girl, Help! My Potential Love Interest is a Former Crime Lord! (AO3) - "Danny made a promise to himself and his friends: He will retire from the hero lifestyle and get a college degree. Unfortunately, sometimes life gets in the way."
this thorn ridden gardern (AO3) - "The process by which Heliana Evans (real name: Helianthus Potter, AKA Woman Who Conquered) and Jay Peters (real name: Jason Todd, AKA Red Hood) meet, get to know each other, fall in love, do not fall in love, lie to each other, team up, stop lying, fight crime, fight each other, fight FOR each other, cry, bleed all over the good curtains, confess their true feelings, and drive everyone around them insane. Only sort of in that order."
friendly neighborhood vigilante (AO3) - "Meet Jasmine Fenton: Smart, resourceful, kind and the very proud sister of Amity Park's own undead superhero Danny Phantom. Therapist at your service. Intern at Arkham Asylum. Can kick your ass. Likes tea and long walks at the beach. Meet Jason Todd: Smart, resourceful, not-that-kind (if you say he's soft you may get knifed) and the very proud vigilante and protector of Crime Alley. Died for a while but got better. Holds grudges. Likes reading a nice book and the sound of the rain against the window. They are neighbors now."
Bonus: If It's a Highway (AO3) - "Bucky’s been running for a week when the supposedly-untraceable burner phone he stole from a HYDRA warehouse starts ringing. He’s in a gas station bathroom off a remote highway close to the Croatian border, getting ready to bleach his hair; the ringtone bounces shrilly off the bare tiles and makes his jaw clench tight."

I am conquering the list!
I’ve been working on Through the Gate, the Criminal Minds x Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood story I mentioned on the list, and we’re past 20,000 words at this point. I’ve also been working on the unnamed Slave!Castiel fic that I am quickly realizing is also kind of a Captive!Castiel at the same time? So, yeah, that one’s much shorter. It’s not even 10,000 words yet. As I mentioned previously, I finished Hell’s Persuasion, but it’s going to be a little bit before I post it. I don’t have a date set, unfortunately. My point is this: I’m defeating three of the five stories mentioned on my list!
I finished Awesome Mix Vol. 1! I’m not 100% happy with what I wrote, but I have plenty of time to edit it, and it’s good to have the story officially finished. Of course, on Wednesday, 04/17/2024, I posted Chapter 8, and this coming Wednesday (04/24/2024) I’ll be posting Chapter 9.
On the publishing front, I got an EIN (which I don’t think I really need, but it’s free, so why not play it safe), and they’re sending me a letter with information to get my sales tax ID. Hopefully, next weekend, I’ll be able to complete the process, and then I can buy some ISBNs!
I also got some editing done on Collision Course (blurb here), and I would say I’m about halfway through, but it’s not as if this is the final edit. It’s got a ways to go, but I absolutely love how it’s coming along!
Thanks for reading!

Record of Isekai
Crossovers are going to be the death of me. Not many things make me feel the same as pairing two universes that mingle well (and sometimes that don’t) and seeing something wonderful come out of it.
But how about 10+ series? Following the Record of Ragnarok formula is possible, and I need people talking about this.
Summary
Existence was made up by several universes, endless worlds connected with each other. Normally independent from each other, one day, the divinity of each world came together and decided the fate of those that are transported and reborn to new worlds: Erasure. Yet thanks to a certain Valkyrie, they would get a fighting chance! Thirteen against thirteen, in a battle called Ragnarok! Gods, divine and similar would face the mortals in one against one duels! Will the divine get what they want or will the mortals defy fate itself?
Review
First and foremost, aside from being a crossover fan, I must admit that I really like the isekai genre. A fat chunk of it is trash, don’t get me wrong. But we don’t always need a gourmet dish to satiate our hunger. Sometimes the shitty burger with more grease than actual nutritious content is just the thing we’re craving.
But I digress. Why am I talking about Record of Isekai?
Well, obviously because it’s fun. It’s well-written. There’s obviously a lot of thought going into each fight, but most importantly it doesn’t suffer from the same problem that the canon RoR suffers.
If you read Record of Isekai, it’s probably because you liked RoR and at least know some of the fighters that are going to be on the human side. Characters like the isekai quartet, Rudeus Greyrat, and Cid Kagenou have all been gathered to fight for the right to jump between worlds and to continue existing no matter what the gods say. And that’s perfect for the story that this fanfic is trying to tell.
We know these character, or at least have an idea of who they are. The story doesn’t dwell too much in their backstories because of this, and the pacing doesn’t suffer as result. Furthermore, the gods that fight are also from other series that people can recognize and be surprised by. And as result, each outcome is all the more impactful. You cheer for these guys to win, even if you don’t like their series, because the gods they’re pinned against really test their might. The OP pls nerf factor of isekai MCs is effectively nullified as they enter the arena. The bleakness feels even worse because you know most of those characters could probably fight toe to toe with RoR gods.
So if you like the premise or isekai or crossovers, go give this story a shot. You can find it on Space Battles and AO3. I won’t say anything else because it could spoil the battles. I’ll only tag with the series I remember seeing.
And don’t forget to support the author, if you want. It’s a great story and I honestly don’t want it to get dropped. Hope this post helps spread the word!

Yes, Master?
Summary: Vegeta finds himself in a strange place, and he’s pretty sure he knows the culprit.
A fic for @lovelykotori to go with the awesome art they made! Check them out at @lovelykotori-fa
He coughed and waved his hand to banish his eyes' pink and blue smoke. No matter how often it happened, which seemed to be every week at this rate, he'd never get used to the fruity scent that always seemed to linger. Cursing under his breath as he imagined the dry cleaning bill he'd have to pay, he looked around to find the causation of all his recent vexation.
However, gone were the modern trappings of his bachelor's apartment. In place of an uptown view, with its sleek buildings made of steel and glass, was what looked to be a desert city, complete with a palace that towered over the parochial village. Gone were the flat-screen TV and the temperature-controlled air; in their place were soft pillows and the humid breeze on the arid air. Sweat began to bead on his brow as mild panic, mixed with anger, began to rise from his gut.
"BULMA!!!"
With a quick pop and a flash, the bubbly female appeared.
"WHERE AM I!?"
Bulma's eyes widened with surprise at his tone but looked unaffected as she regarded him with a kind smile and straightened his mussed hair, much to his chagrin. "Why, Master. Do you not remember? You said you wished you could get away from it all…"
The woman continued to speak, but the words became muffled as if he were underwater. The vein above his temple began to throb and pulse. Vegeta had fought in wars, flown in combat, was shot down by enemy fire, and was the first to test the Saiyan Space Program prototypes, yet he had kept his cool during all of those moments. But this female had an unending ability to drive him to madness!
"…and you have looked so stressed. The line on your forehead has been ever so pronounced. Just like it is right now!" She exclaimed and moved to grab a scroll. "So, I decided to take you to the most relaxing place I could think of. The heated baths are to die for, and look! They have beds of nails…trust me, they are more relaxing than they look. And I kno-"
"Bulma," he ground out through gritted teeth, "I meant it just as a figure of speech. I didn't want you to take me…wherever this is! Take us back right now!"
The echo of his shout seemed to shake the room they were in; however, she did not seem bothered. Bulma merely laughed and tossed the scroll behind her before sidling up beside him. Unwilling to fall for her feminine wiles, he crossed his arms and looked away. "I also hoped we would be able to spend more time together. It gets lonely in your apartment and reminds me of being trapped in my bottle again."
While he could not see her, he could not be anything but hyper-aware of her presence. That strange fruity scent enveloped him again. The soft press of her body against his felt like both a sanctuary and a sin. The flesh on his neck pebbled, and a slight shiver ran through his body when he felt the weight of one of her fingers and its teasing walk across his shoulders."
"Do you not wish to spend time with me, Vegeta?"
The Saiyan Captain exhaled through his nose and glanced back at the woman at his side. Her expression was innocent, and a slight pink to her pouty lips drew his gaze downwards. Unconsciously, he moistened his lips as the temptation to kiss away her concern began to build. Before he could give in, he took a step back to put a modicum of distance between them.
"Bulma..." he said with a sigh.
"Yes, Master?" The sparkling blue of her eyes and her effervescent smile gave him a moment's pause. In his mind's deep, private depths, he could admit that he and the ancient being shared an uncommon attraction. And it was not due to her exquisite looks. Despite the upheaval she caused and her non-stop pursuit of his affection, she filled a part of his life he had not realized was missing.
"Maybe, we can stay for a little whi-"
Before he could finish his sentence, his ears were assaulted with a high-pitched squeal that seemed to rival the efficiency of most sonic weapons. Bulma bounced on the balls of her feet in delight and stood on her toes to kiss his cheek. The sensation was akin to a caress, traveling from his head to his toes. A blush bloomed on his cheeks and spread to the back of his neck and his ears.
"Thank you, Master!!"
When faced with the overwhelming and enticing creature before him, all he could do was click his teeth.
"Tch!"

On a Zelda Kick again and it's combining with my ATLA love and now I'm wanting a Zelda x ATLA fusion/AU again. Like Hyrule is a closed off continent on the ATLA world. There are ways for Hylians to leave, but idk how they or anyone else would get back into Hyrule. So it's rare for Hylians to come to The Four Nations cause once they leave Hyrule, they seemingly can't go back.idk.
Zuko has to be in Link's place but Zelda can either be Katara Or herself , leaning toward herself. Ganon/dorf is stuck/sealed in Hyrule and is trying to break free for some reason. He has no relation to Ozai/The Fire Nation/The War but breaking free will just make things worse for the world of course .
There's a Temple of each of the four elements in The Four Nations And Zulink has to find them/the macguffin in them to get into Hyrule.
Zulink is still the Fire Prince but he has to at least be part Hylian with pointy ears, Wich would make Azula part Hylian to I guess.
To keep the whole Roku and Sozin are their great grandpa's thing Ursa could have a full blooded Hylian parent.
Ozai/Azulon/Sozin somehow found out about the shit that went on/is going on and have been looking for a way to invade Hyrule for however long ago to steal the Triforce or the Power of The Goddess or what have you, you know, for world domination. So, Ganny's got some competition now.
Zulinks quest to once again save Hyrule is going to be woven throughout ATLA Canon, it can either start at Zukos banishment or at the beginning of the series or when ever.
I think that's all I got right now,so yeah.
