It's not the KKK anymore. It's the CCC and it's even worse. The group of Conservative Caucasian Christians (and those non Christians who just affiliate with the Conservative Caucasian part) are who is destroying our country from the inside out. They are the politicians and their wives, Bible thumping evangelists, actual members of the Klan, executives, CEOs, neighbors, etc....The minority of the population and they are in power. I am sick of the CCC and their affiliates. They hate anybody who isn't a straight white Christian male. Yes, they even hate their wives, mothers, sisters and daughters. We need to unite and vote them out of power in EVERY ELECTION from now on. No more Conservative Caucasian Christian members in politics. They are a cancer on society. We owe it to ourselves, our children and generations to come to stop this nonsense.

As much as I want to ignore what's going on and just live my life, I feel like I need to say something. The overturning of Roe V Wade has destroyed what little faith I have left in this country.

For perspective, here are some statistics. (TW FOR R4P3 AND S/A)

-Trans and gnc people are more likely to experience r4p3 than cisgender people

-lgbtq+ people are 4× more likely to experience violent crimes such as r4p3

-black women are 15% more likely to experience r4p3 / SA than their white counterparts

-many afab people who experience r4p3 are below the age of 30 (15% being below the age of 18)

-around 5% of r4p3s result in the victim's pregnancy

-adolescent pregnancy and childbirth is 2.5× more likely to result in the mother and/or infant passing during childbirth than adult childbirth, and is also linked to longer labor periods, hypertension, and anemia.

Someone, please explain to me how being anti-choice is pro-life. How is denying the right to life-saving healthcare to afab people of minority pro-life? How is forcing children to be born into a situation where they can't possibly be taken care of pro-life?

man. this whole thing pisses me off because like. even when people talk about staff having a history of hating trans women, that this isnt the first time, without fail black trans women are forgotten to be included again and again. im not surprised this caused such an uproar when the popular white woman gets deleted. nobody should be, its been that way like forever. some cunt in my inbox got annoyed i called rita a sex worker (lol? okay)

Installation view of Freedom Square: The Black Girlhood Altar at the Chicago Cultural Center

The exhibition at the Chicago Cultural Center opens with the installation “Homegoing.” The work is a suspended image depicting a screenshot from Ma’Khia Bryant’s personal TikTok. In the photo she’s laying her edges, her jet-black hair shining, her baby face clean and free of makeup. Below the printed photo is a collection of candles, stuffed animals, and a bouquet. On April 20, 2021, Ma’Khia was killed by an Ohio police officer in what was later determined a justifiable homicide. She was 16 years old.

In the gallery titled Rest and Recess: The Courtyard, the exhibition transports the viewer to the Caribbean where Black girls play together unburdened and hopeful. A tree, sculpted by Robert Narciso and made from branches from Rekia Boyd’s family home, sits in the center of the room casting a protective shadow over everything. From its branches hang yellow paper hearts scribed with the hopes and dreams of little Black girls. The sound of their joyful cacophony activates the space.

A black trans woman was on her way to a gender affirming care appointment when her at the time boyfriend pushed her onto the subway tracks. She has had the lower parts of both her legs amputated.
