The fact that Rishi Sunak was not only unelected by the British public but also unelected by the Conservative party makes him the first person in world history that I know of that has become the head of a democratic nation with literally no-one in the entire country voting for him.

A tiny devil vitrified in a prism of glass. In the 18th century, the Imperial Treasury of Vienna attested that this was a real demon which had been trapped in glass during an exorcism in Germany a century earlier. ⁣From the Kunsthistorisches Museum Collection, Vienna.⁣

Are you worried that you may not have stable housing that you can rent or stay in?
Well look no further because TENNESSEE REPUBLICANS have "a plan for that."
What's their plan, you might be asking?
REPUBLICANS in Tennessee plan to CRIMINALIZE homelessness.

Okay, serious topic rn, Brazil is on the verge of a coup d'état. Federal highway police are blocking main highways in different places, causing traffic trying to stop people from voting on the opposition (Lula). People on the northeast are having extra trouble with the roadblocks and in some cities the public transport got the free pass suspended (there's a law that made public transport free for the election day), in other cities buses won't stop to let electors board in.
Indigenous people also facing trouble getting to the election place.
This is outrageous and absurd, pls spread the word and make this whole situation known. We've faced a coup and dictatorship before. NEVER again.
Democracy is the only way and this is a global fight.
edit: for information in English, I suggest Tom Philips
edit2: read the tags, specially the one by @happyfairyskeleton she contextualised the reason why those are the targets and why this is worrying!

Please, to everyone, beware voting complacency. Speaking as someone who's growing ever more infuriated at how Brexit is constantly fucking us over, here are the Sky data polls for the voter turn out back in the day:
18-24: 36%
25-34: 58%
35-44: 72%
45-54: 75%
55-64: 81%
65+: 83%
What's even more galling is that 75% of the youngest voters (aged 18-24) voted Remain, compared with 39% of the 65+ age group.
Voting matters.

"Well, at least we can agree on Truth, Freedom, and Justice, yes?"
There was a chorus of nods. Everyone wanted those. They didn't cost anything.

I don’t think anyone in the UK has standing to criticise other countries for being undemocratic right now!

Women's March NYC, October 2nd, 2021.
Women's March events were held all over the country in response to recent efforts by right-wing radicals to use the rigged judicial system to restrict the rights of women. Here in New York City, a large rally and march was organized. The rally began in Foley Square where participants listened to guest speakers and musical performances.
Several of the guest speakers urged everyone present to vote out any politician who is not staunchly supportive of women's rights. Other speakers pointed out that the Supreme Court has been compromised by right-wing radical judges and should be expanded during the Biden Presidency to restore balance to the institution.
After the rally, the group took to the streets, marching from Foley Square to Washington Square Park. The weather once again favored liberal New Yorkers, with an unusually warm October day featuring bright sunshine and temperatures nearing 80F (27C) degrees. --PWH3
