terfs and radfems love to say they advocate for trans men/mascs and then continuously misgender us, objectify us, send us death and rape threats, harrass us, call us delusional women (and when they want to sprinkle in a little homophobia, "confused lesbians"), tell us we're mutilating ourselves, spread fearmongering misinformation about bottom surgery (especially phalloplasty), make fun of trans men/mascs looks, make fun of feminine trans men/mascs, make fun of masculine trans men/mascs, make fun of androgynous trans men/mascs, call us gay men fetishizers, tell us to stay away from gay men, call us predatory in general, make us feel like we're not allowed to date anyone, if we're gay and t4t call us lesbians, and countless other horrific behaviours like who the hell do you think you're fooling?

neither testosterone nor estrogen are inherently "bad" or "good". they're hormones that exist in every human, and need to exist in a balance specific to that person's body. i guess i find it kinda funny that the current terf rhetoric is that testosterone is evil and bad and will make you miserable all the time.

that was my experience, as an intersex person, when i was placed on estrogen for a few years. that doesn't make estrogen bad. that just means that for me, having that much estrogen in my system made me miserable, exacerbated the negative symptoms of my intersex condition, and in general changed things about myself and my body that i didn't like. that doesn't mean estrogen will make everyone miserable. just me, at that high of a concentration. i still need it, though. just nowhere near that much.

there is no catch-all blanket "this hormone is good or bad". they're just chemicals that exist in our bodies and are required for certain levels of functioning. you can't place moral value on a hormone.

moment of vulnerability: as a transmasc nonbinary person I have very low self esteem and struggle to love myself and my body. I am scared that I come off as annoying, rude, socially awkward, and have a very hard time accepting that someone could be attracted to not just my body but my personality as well.

If you've struggled or are struggling with this can you please share anything that has helped you?

Matt Mullenweg has a history of actively targeting trans users on here by banning them when they'll post SFW transition pictures (no nudity, nothing provocative) under the notion that it's against "Tumblrs sexual guidelines", or literally any post by a trans person that ISN'T nudity. Transition or not.

One trans-woman has been banned MULTIPLE times and went she addressed it with a staff member, they repeatedly misgendered her and called her an "it". Posts speaking out about this have gotten banned by staff, and the CEO still hasn't corrected himself on misgendering her. He just calls her "The Account" .

There are many problems with this, because SFW transition photos will be targeted by Tumblr's staff meanwhile full on OF content will be allowed on here often in the explore tab and under other fandom tabs where KIDS browse and will be exposed to it. I've seen it firsthand, I'm only 15.

That isn't where it ends, he found the woman on TWITTER (her name is Rita btw) and CONTINUED to harass her further. (screenshots were pulled from @/slimetony but originally taken by @/lankque on twitter, his tweets on this have been deleted.)

This has a LOT more information about his actions towards trans people on here, especially trans women.

🚨ALERT🚨

I need help gathering information on a recent crime against my trans friend and his trans fiancé in Louisville, KY.

A friend of mine just had more or less everything in his and his partner's house stolen by his shitty landlord, likely in retaliation for pushing back on said landlord refusing to fix the house they were renting from him, specifically black mold they found in the walls and window latches that don't work.

The landlord obtained a false paper saying they had abandoned the property, and last week (5/18) my friend and his partner came home from work to find landlord Barrett Goff of Allodium Real Estate using a moving company to haul away everything in the house, supervised by officers from the sheriff's department. The officers physically restrained them from entering the property and recovering their things. Their cats were deliberately flushed out of the house, resulting in one being killed in the road. Their mail was stolen and destroyed.

The police, the sheriff's office, the landlord, and the moving company have resisted giving them the information needed to trace and recover what was stolen, falsely claiming that they couldn't do so because my friends were filing charges and "it would destroy their case." (It won't.) Local Goodwills and pawn shops have been apprised of the situation and asked to watch for key items, but we're basically stabbing in the dark. We need details if they're to get even half what was taken back.

The value of their combined belongings well exceeds the $6,000 threshold required for a charge of grand theft, and so they are taking him to court. But this doesn't bring back their valuables, or their cat.

After asking around, they've found that this landlord has a pattern of doing this to low income tenants, and the ease with which this fake statement was obtained and the speed and manner in which it was acted on suggest a pattern within the sheriff's department as well.

The Louisville, KY law enforcement apparatus has a long and storied history of crime and corruption, from the police murder of Breonna Taylor and beyond. It is disappointing but not surprising to find yet another instance of corruption and exploitation of minorities and those least equipped to fight back. This kind of thing can only be fought by bringing as much heat and attention as possible to the offenses. I'm asking for y'all's help in that.

I'm asking anyone who has information on Goff, his company, his business habits and history, and/or his relationship with sheriffs and local PD to please contact me and/or local and national press. Especially if this has happened to you or someone you know.

transphobes who are obsessed and fixated on gender who project their obsessions and fixations on to the trans community are hilarious- they say that we can't go without thinking about or mentioning our genders but then bring up theirs unprovoked. "I'm a man i can't do that," "of course i like that I'm a woman," "you can't do that to me I'm a man," "women can't wear that," "men aren't weak like that," "women can't participate in that," etc. etc. etc. etc.

these people are literally so obsessed with gender they can't separate themselves from it and yet they project. even if a trans person is obsessed with gender it's better than obsessing over other's genders to oppress them and prevent them from living freely any day. a trans person who can't shut up about how they love being trans is infinitely better than someone who can't shut up about how other people shouldn't be able to do things for arbitrary reasons
