"charles put you on blast huh?" lando's laugh caught addi's attention.

life with addi feels like a constant marry-go-round. pierre is great, he's kind, she likes being around him. but the thought of being with him... officially. she can't. as much as she tells everyone she doesn't care or that she's fine, seeing lando with someone else is affecting her. she's sure they all see it. maybe not lando, maybe. she doesn't want to hurt anyone.

she let out a small chuckle as well, "yeah" she sighed before smiling at him. she had been at daniel's hotel suite along with some other drivers for a hangout. she had left to go to the kitchen to grab one of the smoothie drinks she had put in there a while ago. "when did you get here?" she asked him, offering him a smoothie. he grabbed it, muttering out some gratitude and opening it.

"just now, i actually came to get a coke but i guess smoothie's are healthier" he smiled after taking a sip. she laughed and nodded. she was going to move past him to join the group but yet another one of his questions stopped her in her tracks, "what's it like with pierre?"

"he's sweet, just kinda going slow for now." she shrugged, avoiding eye contact.

"how come?"

she looked at him, his face was formed into a confused and almost... hurt expression. why was he hurt? he doesn't have that right. "where's luisa?"

lando said nothing, causing addi to nod and walk passed him and join back to the group. charles and arthur showed up after a few minutes, which was great, it gave arthur and addi the opportunity to hang out again. she talked to arthur a little bit since the pierre drama, he said he was hurt but he shouldn't be because they already talked about moving on.

the night went on, alcohol came out, things got...hectic... weird.

"hey, you should go." daniel found the girl in the kitchen pouring more drinks. her mind was fogged and buzzed, the kitchen reminded her of the scene that unfolded only hours before with the other mclaren driver. she's dizzy, she thought everyone was having fun, so why does she have to leave? "arthur will walk you to your hotel room, if you're missing something i'll bring it to you in the morning" he didn’t want her to go, he felt bad pushing her out, but he couldn’t let her be in the middle of it all.

she didn't have time to ask questions, arthur walked over with her phone and her bag while daniel reached in the fridge and handed her the last smoothie and a water bottle. "what's going on?" she asked arthur, confused as to why suddenly there was suddenly yelling on the other side of the room. she was to faded to understand what was going on, and before she could even comprehend anyone's face, she was pushed out of the suite.

"i'll tell you tomorrow"

I think what actually pushed Yura to go out of his way as much as he does for Katya was the fact that he had a serious moment of weakness with her. In his eyes, she's the only person in the world who knows and can accept him for what he is. It's a largely selfish endeavor.

He'd feel awful about Anya being taken in as a mutant, but he probably wouldn't go as far to free her. He might have gone to similar lengths if Sanya was taken in, but again, he most likely wouldn't have been as obsessive. Because he doesn't see any of the girls as someone who really understands him.

If any member of the gang he's not especially close to, i.e. Tsar, Yana, or Ivan, were seized by the center, he wouldn't be too gung-ho about risking his life to free them. He's more friendly with Arthur and technically did have a similar moment of weakness with him, but it's not something he remembers. He'd be sad, but not desperate.

At the end of the day, Yura doesn't believe anyone would ever grant him the same kindness Katya could.

The big lens bored into my eyes, Arthur and yourself sat in silence waiting for the flag to start speaking.

“Go.”

“Hello everybody, welcome back to another Prema video, here with Y/N/N” Arthur’s voice spoke out, nudging you slightly as he said your nickname.

“And today we’re doing truth or dare, with the questions suggested by you guys!” You gestured your hands towards the camera, smile painted on your face.

Two piles of paper were slid onto the table, both in bold with one reading 'TRUTH' and the other 'DARE'.

The camera cuts, moving into the other rooms where other drivers are sitting patiently, before they come back to focus on yours and Arthur's clips for the video.

"I'm a bit nervous." You spoke aloud, in the now empty room.

You saw the rumours circulating online, your Instagram dm's filled with threats from preteen girls, questions from journalists and bunches more.

"It's going to be fun Y/N/N, I'm picking all dares since I am quite bad." He smugly smiles at the end of his sentence, laying back against the charcoal leather sofa.

You snorted at the bold statement, "As if Arth, no way is that true."

Right as he opened his mouth to retaliate, the producers came back in the room.

"Put three ice cubes in your mouth until they melt." Read out with a cheeky grin, watching as Arthur laughs nervously.

Watching as he tries to gracefully put them into his mouth with a spoon made you both double over in laughter. He sits back with his arms crossed, eyes closed.

"He can't speak, he's incapacitated at the moment everyone." You look at him, as he turns with his mouth full, gargling out the words, "Truth or dare." in his loud, Monégasque accent.

"Ay ya ya, it hurts!" He flicked his hand about, the sound of the ice cubes moving about in his mouth appearing also.

"Okay, dare." You risked, watching the string and scissors appear onto the table.

Arthur tied your hands to your ankles, and you had to stay like that the whole game. He wrapped the string gently around your wrists, making sure it's not too tight before looking up at you with those blue eyes.

It's moments like these where you doubted your friendship with him, letting your true emotions take control. In a room full of cameras and people, it felt like it was only the two of you.

He momentarily pulled the strings making it really tight, winking at you with the eye facing away from the camera making your cheeks flush pink.

"So now, it's perfect." He spoke, watching you struggle with sitting on the sofa.

He holds the next dare up to you, waving it in front of your face.

"Go outside and hold a sign that says 'Honk if I'm cute.'" You laugh, watching as he gives a confused face.

"What?" Turning the slip back to himself as he reads it again.

"Guys we're going to get noise complaints from the amount of people honking..." You flipped your hair over your shoulder, pretending to flex as Arthur looks at you with a bewildered expression.

"It'll be me in the car.." He aggressively winks badly moving his whole face, producing having to cut due to the laughter.

You look at the paper signs giving from the producers, with text in Italian as well as English.

"That's going to be so embarrassing, it's much worse than what you got!" You leant back, forgetting your arms were tied, whole body falling against the sofa and Arthur's side.

After a couple more embarrassing dares and painful truths, the filming progressed onto the most anticipated question, not only for the audience but for the producers also.

It would be stupid to think that the producers don't think the pair would be cute together, why else would they always be together in videos!

You picked up the next slip of paper, Arthur's eyes widening at your evil grin.

"Just read it, you're scaring me!"

"Ooh! If you had to choose, who would you kiss in this room?" You said matter-of-factly, turning to face Arthur.

He plucked the note out of your hand, slightly fanning himself whilst looking up at the ceiling, "It's starting to get a bit hot in here."

You fell onto your side laughing, "But you have to be completely, completely honest." You spoke, getting back up.

You started pointing around the room, "So there's a sound engineer, there's Angelina." You say smiling, but as you go to look at him you realise that he's only looking at you.

"Well to be completely honest it would have to be you." He says, staring at you as Oscar burst into the room getting everyone to say their "Awwws".

You blush furiously, both of you going into fits of laughter to alleviate the tension.

The video in question cuts to you and Paul outside the building, both being dared to stand with the embarrassing sign.

You held up the sign first, stepping out onto the side of the road and being met with honks as soon as the drivers could read the sign.

"Gosh, my ego is going through the roof." You laughed, getting scared by another abrupt honk.

You turned around to see Arthur sticking himself half way out the car window, opening the door to pull you inside the tiny grey Fiat 500.

"Sorry guys I'm kidnapping her for a while." He shouts out.

This would seem slightly confusing, but gets cleared up quickly by the end snippet of the video being; Arthur gently pulling your chin in his direction, the camera catching a quick kiss before everyone erupts into cheers, Dino and Robert jumping so hard the camera was knocked off the tripod.

"new york for christmas?" max tilted his head at the younger driver, "you're not staying in monaco for the holidays?"

addi shook her head no as she stretched her body out on her drivers room floor, "no, charles and his family are following us there. claire will be miserable if she has to sit on a plane for hours while being four months pregnant. plus my parents are staying in monaco for christmas."

max felt sympathy for addi, though he's not one to show many other emotions than anger and happiness, or cockiness if you want to go that route, he understands what it's like to have a broken hope and parental issues. their experiences and familial situations are different, but they're still too similar to not to relate to. "i'm sorry you have to avoid them."

she looks up at her teammate with a pang in her chest. "it's okay... could be worse." she shrugged it off, not wanting to get all emotional before qualifying starts.

"lando revealed his relationship with luisa."

"good for lando." she got up with the help of max's hand. max is trying his best to understand the current dynamic between his teammate and friend. things are awkward, even when they're laughing together it's not the same. she's gotten so close with pierre that it seems like more than just a friendship.

"are you and pierre seeing each other?"

"since when do you care about this stuff, max?" she scoffed out a laugh and looked at the older with curiosity and a little bit of annoyance.

"i just care about you."

addi has never heard these words come from her teammate, at least not towards her. sure they were a great team, great friends, she considers max one of her closest friends lately. but she never thought she would hear that from max. "we're.. complicated right now." she chuckled "why are you getting all sentimental, maxie?" she tried lightening up the air a little, but max's next words would only somber the mood even more

"when you crashed... i was really worried. and then checo took your seat for a while, and i don't know. it didn't feel right." he spoke with serenity

"what do you mean?"

"i pushed for further investigation on your car."

deep talks with max are very rare, but she's grown to love them and he's grown to get used to them.

As far as I could see Esteban was the first driver on the current grid to like his photos, I think he liked the 3rd or 4th one.

Lando and George liked MANY pics from his karting days.

And Arthur Leclerc seems to have had a period from around 2016 - 2017 where he liked every single photo Max posted lmao.

pairings: charles leclerc x ferrari sister!leclerc

synopsis: y/n leclerc, the youngest of the leclerc siblings. gets frustrated over the weekend, as her team ignores her suggestions about what they should do with the car. y/n keeps her frustration at bay, but it's difficult when race day comes close and her team is incompetent.

"fuck!" you said as the car crashes down the barrier, losing its power. "putain!" you hit the car with frustration, you get out of the car and walked away. throwing away your gloves in frustration.

"looks like leclerc got herself another dnf right here! ending in P11, how will this look for the young leclerc?" the commentator's voice blasted through the televisions of the viewers.

you made your way to the garage, you took off your helmet and the angry frustrated look was distinct on your face. "y/n you're up for an interview." your manager informed you whilst handing you a drink.

you took it with an angry look, "jesus christ i just got off a race! can't i take a fucking break for a minute?!" your manager nodded, "noted, i will inform them" "thank you, david." yoh thanked the manager. you felt bad for lashing out on everyone, this weekend has especially been tough on you. today was qualifying and you just ended up on P11, there was so much pressure on being the first female driver to enter f2. but if you wanted to make it into f1, you were going to be professional about it.

the tv in front of you played a replay your crash, in slow motion. she felt bad for herself, you felt like you let everyone down. but what else could you do? when you were always the one suggesting to the prema team on what they could do to improve the car, but they never listen. it's all bullshit.

"this is fucking bull." you say to yourself, looking down at the ground. you felt tears swelling in her eyes, you let them drop.

"hey mon ange," charles' voice was heard, you looked towards where charles was and stood up and hugged him. "it'll all be alright." he reassured you. that's when you let it all out. you sobbed into his chest as you felt charles patted your back gently. "it's all a disaster, charles! everything is falling apart. it feels like it's all coming down to me." you ranted in between sobs, charles frowned at the thought of her sister feeling like this. because he understood what it felt like to be in her situation right now. he pulled away and wiped the tears from her face, and said. "hey, it's not the end of the world, ange. it may feel like everything's falling apart right now, and yeah, i can admit that i feel like that, too. i understand you and what you're feeling right now." his eyes witnessed your teary eyes and continued, "i promise you, this isn't the end. and things will be alright. just have faith, ange! alright? can you do that for me?" he asked you assuringly, and you nodded in reply.

"i'll tell you what, when the race is over. we'll get ice cream? you love ice cream." charles smiled at her, "y.. yeah, i would love that very much." you smiled again, wiping those tear-stained cheeks of yours. it was clear that charles beamed at the sight of your smile, "there's that smile! come on, let's go to maman?" you simply chuckled, wiping the remaining tears off her eyes before speaking, "yes, let's go to maman." you two walked out of the garage, and he lets you change out of your attire and into something comfortable. you two made your way to the ferrari hospitality, where you would be getting ice cream and wait for arthur to finish.
