"new york for christmas?" max tilted his head at the younger driver, "you're not staying in monaco for the holidays?"

addi shook her head no as she stretched her body out on her drivers room floor, "no, charles and his family are following us there. claire will be miserable if she has to sit on a plane for hours while being four months pregnant. plus my parents are staying in monaco for christmas."

max felt sympathy for addi, though he's not one to show many other emotions than anger and happiness, or cockiness if you want to go that route, he understands what it's like to have a broken hope and parental issues. their experiences and familial situations are different, but they're still too similar to not to relate to. "i'm sorry you have to avoid them."

she looks up at her teammate with a pang in her chest. "it's okay... could be worse." she shrugged it off, not wanting to get all emotional before qualifying starts.

"lando revealed his relationship with luisa."

"good for lando." she got up with the help of max's hand. max is trying his best to understand the current dynamic between his teammate and friend. things are awkward, even when they're laughing together it's not the same. she's gotten so close with pierre that it seems like more than just a friendship.

"are you and pierre seeing each other?"

"since when do you care about this stuff, max?" she scoffed out a laugh and looked at the older with curiosity and a little bit of annoyance.

"i just care about you."

addi has never heard these words come from her teammate, at least not towards her. sure they were a great team, great friends, she considers max one of her closest friends lately. but she never thought she would hear that from max. "we're.. complicated right now." she chuckled "why are you getting all sentimental, maxie?" she tried lightening up the air a little, but max's next words would only somber the mood even more

"when you crashed... i was really worried. and then checo took your seat for a while, and i don't know. it didn't feel right." he spoke with serenity

"what do you mean?"

"i pushed for further investigation on your car."

deep talks with max are very rare, but she's grown to love them and he's grown to get used to them.

As someone who has watched F1 for more than 15 years, I feel like it's a good time now before the ever so eventful Australian GP (and the 21 races later this year) to just remind everyone of a simple rule that some seem to have forgotten. "Oh goddammit *insert driver name*, why did you do that?!" is an acceptable reaction, in the comfort of your own home, to someone taking out your favorite from the race.

Sending death threats and hate to a driver is not.

The community is a much better place when we don't turn into rabid animals over the results of a single race, okay? Okay.

Okay so here’s my Broadway nerd coming out, but if a Starkid show (especially hatchetfield) ever made it to Broadway, I think they should have the stage be something other than a standard proscenium stage.

What else could they do, you may ask. Well let me introduce my good friend: Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812.

And if it’s not clear, here (marked in blue) is where some of the audience seats are:

One of my favorite things is the Starkid actors interacting with the audience. If they did something like Great Comet did, this would allow for that, because with Broadway theatres, it’s so much harder to go from the stage to the audience and back.

In fact, part of me really really wants to make my own blocking for NPMD using the layout of the Great Comet stage.

This specific design worked well for Great Comet because they had a lot of spectacle and many more actors, and I believe this stage was built specifically inspired by Russian designs for the time, so it wouldn’t be the best option if, for example, NPMD went to Broadway with the cast size it had with Starkid. But, I really think this would be a really cool way to watch a Starkid show, if they got a funky stage like this.

Just imagine watching Hatchet Town, and when the blame is going around, not only is it going around in front of you, but the blame going around AROUND you. Max chasing Richie all around. Think about Ruth singing Just For Once, moving all around that big empty space meant for like,, two dozen or so people dancing, but she’s the only one. Ugh. I love theater.

addilynleblanc trying to figure out if i wanted to release the songs i record for fun, and if so which songs, what style, all that. it took months. and this song is one of the newest of the bunch, but charles and i have been working on it for quite a while now (ofc along with some other help). i've always been extremely grateful in life, but i've also had my own struggles. this song can be interpreted in many ways, whatever you feel fits you. but for me it's about my own blood. and i'm not sure if that makes it even sadder or not lol. but anyway. i had such amazing support around me when writing and recording this song. i wanna give my special shout outs to some special grid friends, especially charles for coming through with his amazing piano skills. i wanna thank some prema friends that have been supporting me as well. and ofc my brother, claire, charlotte, and the other leclerc's. and of course i wanna thank my team @.redbullracing for agreeing tot this, i know it's not common for drivers to release music lol. i love you all. anyway. my song tolerate it is out now on everything. thank you.

addi's talk with pierre was good, nothing extraordinary happened. she told him why she did it, she told him about arthur, and that day on the couch with lando. she told him everything. he was a little hurt that he was, essentially, a rebound. but after a long conversation of them and their relationship, he knew addi did have feelings for him. what's stopping her was lando and arthur, or maybe not arthur?

now she just released her first song with charles, and she had a little celebration with the usual people that she's been with all summer, throwing in lando and luisa, lily and alex, and max and kelly. the other's were vacationing elsewhere, it just so happens that the people that came either live in monaco or are visiting.

after the celebration and long talks about her songs and recording, everyone left with a piece of cake wrapped up and smile, thankfully. now she was standing at the counter while her claire, charles, and charlotte gather around her.

"so, unprotected?" claire laughed, she couldn't talk to her much about it due to only seeing her when her brother is around, and nolan doesn't really want to hear about his sex life.

"yup. i took the morning after pill, it's all good." she took a drink of water and watched charles make a disgusted face at the conversation. "what did you say when you talked to him?" he asked, he's not much for the sex aspect of the conversation, but he wants to know the gossip.

she swallowed the ice cold water down, "i told him why i did it-"

"which was lando?" charles wanted every detail.

she just nodded and carried on "then i told him about everything from the beginning, everything he deserved to hear. i don't know where we go from there to be honest. he wants to try a relationship, but i don't want to date one guy when i have feelings for others."

"so what's the situation with arthur then?" claire questioned the girl.

she sits a thinks for a quick second before giving her answer, "i need to talk to him more. but... i think the relationship we had before the feelings got involved was the best thing in my life. imagine what would happen to that if we dated and something went wrong? i just, i love him, but i can't love him like that, i refuse to let myself think of him in anyway other than my best friend. he will always be my best friend."

the friends nodded their head and continued their conversations about complete nonsense. addilyn found herself laughing at half the the things they were saying until she got a phone call. looking at the caller id made her eyebrows come together in confusion.

"who is it?" charles asks her as he watches her put the phone to her ear.

"horner."
