Just because an ambulatory wheelchair user is not using their wheelchair at a certain moment doesn't make them able bodied. I often feel like people seem to forget that. It doesn't even mean that they are in any less pain/discomfort than they would be in otherwise.

so I do find it pretty funny that I didn't know there was a name for naturally having streaks of white hair, until Jason Todd. I learned the term poliosis through a Jason Todd fanfiction. And just sat there like an idiot trying to figure out what it meant, until I googled it and felt dumb.
As my older brother, who has dark brown hair has this patch of very light blond hair he has had his whole life aka poliosis. Don't worry as far as I know he has never been murdered by the joker, and clawed the way out of a grave. That I'm aware of.

it feels so unreal to think about how I had full mobility two years ago. As a physically disabled person who has been actively losing my mobility. I had to accept that if there's a possibility it's not going to get better. But I also had forgotten how recently it had been that it was there.
To me it's not something I focus on much. But sometimes I gave a few little regrets. Of not doing stupid things, crazy things, running a mile for the hell of it just because I was able to. That I shouldn't of refused to go climbing, ziplining, hiking when invited. Because now it's not exactly the possibility it was to years ago. Going down a lopsided sidewalk is frustrating now. At the same time ors silly to blame myself, because I was already in pain back than. I was already physically disabled just with more mobility at the time.
I both want too and won't let my self place blame.

"Aww your tic disorder is so cute"
You know I definitely didn't think it was cute when it started intruding on my life. When it made doing my job dangerous. But if you want to infantilze my disability because sometimes I make "silly noises" or shake my head in a funny way, stop.
It's not cute that at for time I had I needed someone basically glued to my side to help if tic could potentially hurt me. So yeah, this list is one of many saying the same thing. But some that disrupted the course of my life is not cute.

watched a person in real-time find out about Jason Todd's death, start to mourn him, and then proceeded to learn about his coming back to life. it was like watching them step on a roller coaster and then get thrown on right away.

i have this feeling that if Bart actually took care of his hair, it would actually be rather curly. It'd normally very dry because of the winds it would probably break any brush that dared to get near.

Okay so Jason's Todd's white streak right, it's called poliosis. My brother has always had one, but it's not that light. Its very blond in color, but not pure white so I was thinking the other day, and just imagined Jason putting purple shampoo on the poliosis.

This is really interesting to me. I'm an ambulatory wheelchair user, and always wear workout/wheelchair gloves when in Mt chair to prevent blistering on my palms and fingers. It also gives me better grip.
if you vote other, please let me know what you mean.

I talk about headcanoning multiple powerless vigilantes of having chronic pain disorders. An very important reason I do this is because we often do not notice pain as quickly as intensely as other people do. While chronic pain conditions are in fact very hard to live with if you are not aware, it surprising how easy you can mistake it for outside factors.
Which is why I always immediately think of characters/heros who are fighters. Growing up being in contrast pain during the time I did sports I would assume the pain was due to that. And other times, I was simply so used to it that it had stopped being something I mentioned out loud.
I see Barbara Gordon becoming Batgirl, and wondering why the pain felt so normal to her. Wondering, how she was able to go back out each day. She breaks her arm and simply think it's the normally ache she has cranked up a few notches until an hour later.

About how Bruce Wayne is autistic and you can't tell me I'm wrong. About why I headcanon Tim and Cass having fibromyalgia.
Or litterally ask me anything. Icm in pain and need a distraction via Tumblr.
