he doesn't realise how lonely he is.
the birds nagging on the early morning was freaking annoying and made him wanted to block the window ten times more. he hated how his breakfast tasted, he added to much salt and now he keeps grimacing at every bite. the usual black stray cat on his doorstep keeps greeting him every morning, and all he could find to reply to it meowing was a frown. sunny days were nothing but a pain, the bright light hitting his face as if it was forcing him to like it. how vexing.
the difference shape of flowers peeking out from the next door store brings him nothing of a sense of joy, if anything he wanted to stay away from it due to it attracting the bugs. his coworkers never talk to him, not like he wants to talk to him. he never looked them in the eyes anyway.
he can clearly hear them, their whispers -that were too loud for him to hear- about him being likely an old grumpy grandpa in disguise, they even made bets on if he would smile one day. it didn't hurt him, he couldn't gave a good fuck for it, he just wanted this day to end so he could go home and never have to see anyone.
he doesn't take his shoes off when he's in the apartment, it was too much of a hassle and he doesn't get any visitors anyway. there's barely any food in his fridge, mostly leftovers. he just eats to survive another day. watching pointless tv shows that never truly entertained him, in fact he found them boring but as long as they kept him busy he didn't care.
winter was too cold, summer was too hot, autumn was stressful, and spring gets him a sick problems all the time.
he truly doesn't know where to enjoy anything in life.
well, until he met you.
all of a sudden, the birds melody doesn't sound so bad, so he opens the window for some fresh air. he stared to put afford in making breakfast, not his usual too slaty eggs it is now a fluffy pancakes with your guidance as you embraced him from behind. they weren't perfect, but the pleased noises you make after every bite made him proud. of course he doesn't forget to feed your cat, the same black cat that he claimed it was nothing but a bad luck.
he didn't realise of how much of a neighbours he had till he started coping how you greeted them, it was nice when they started sending you guys food. especially when you liked them and sometimes they'll send his favourite.
sunny days were welcomed now. especially when the bright light would hit on your skin causing a reflection that's making you a walking glowing star. maybe he liked the sun a bit now.
he made progress on talking back to him coworkers, instead of the silent treatment he actually looked at them knowledge them. he actually started looking at them when they speak to him because you told him it was rude not to. soon he was invited to lunch with them where he would show off his bento box you made for him, he was glad the whispers disappeared. he didn't get how much it bothered him till now.
the owner of the flower shop who was an old lady was now a common person he had to see every week, she remarked he was her most loyal client. he received a tones of advice and recommended flowers as well pinching his cheek as a farewell message. needless to say he always tried coming home -he stopped calling it an apartment- to you without an empty hand, having your favourite pair of flowers was a must now. as well taking off his shoes and putting it directly next to yours, this was it right place.
rethinking it now, winter may be still cold but at least he got the scarf you got for him warped up to his neck, if he buried his nose in the soft fur he could smell your cologne -a reason why it was his favourite one- summer was perfect for you two picnic dates, and every time he could kneel down and thank the sun for making you so blazing and sparkly.
autumn was where you would count the crunchy golden leaves, you sometimes warped yourself around it as if it was snow. it was his favourite memory since it made his heart beating fast. and in the end you were his spring, where his love would bloom for you again and again.
restaurants weren't a waste of money and time now. he has a prefers show and it was the one that made you laugh until the tears formed in your eyes, he honestly doesn't find them as funny but it makes you smile so he didn't care.
life stopped being meaningless afterwards, and he could finally say that he enjoyed living as long as it was beside you.
nagi, rin, sae, toji, choso, ushijima, kenma, diluc. kei, sakusa. you favs!

full house ━ chapter two. wc. 2.1k
Tumblr media
It’s early morning when you wake up, the sun just starting to rise and rays of sunlight begin to peak in through the curtains. Your eyes flutter open, taking a few seconds to let your brain fully wake up. When you glance over to your left you’re not all that surprised to find a boy in your bed. Well, that’s only partly true as you didn’t know the gender of the ferret from yesterday but you knew that the boy next to you had indeed been the animal from yesterday. It wasn’t hard to tell, what with the small white ears on top of his head or the distinct beauty mark under his eye that had been visible in his domestic form.
Perhaps you should feel shocked or even mad that he had decided to sleep in your bed while as a human but you find yourself not really caring. Instead you’re rather happy that he had finally decided to show his face after keeping you in suspense yesterday, staying only in his ferret form.
So you take the moment to admire the rather pretty boy in your bed who has long black hair that reached down to his neck and plush pink lips. He looks so peaceful sleeping that you startle just a little when his eyes flutter open, directly looking at you.
“Like what you see?” The boy mutters, sleep thick in his throat as he brings a hand to rub away the sleep in his eyes. You’re caught off guard by his words but recover fairly quickly, raising an eyebrow at him.
“No, just simply wondering why there’s a strange boy in my bed,” He flushes softly at that, moving to cover himself with the covers and you just want to coo at how cute he is.
“Sorry. I just- I dunno. Wanted you to see me to make sure you really knew what you were getting into,” His voice is barely louder than a whisper.
You’re smiling to yourself as you come to pull the covers down just enough to see his pretty face again, eyes blinking up at you.
“What’s your name?”
“…Hyunjin,”
“Well Hyunjin, do you want some breakfast?”
“…yeah, okay,”
As you set the table for the two of you, a simple breakfast of eggs and toast, you see the boy yawn, noticing that his canines are definitely sharper than a normal humans, similar to that of his domestic form.
“You could have slept more, you know?” You say as you slip into your own seat, starting to eat. Hyunjin shakes his head, happily digging into the food you have provided, still feeling rather hungry even though he had indeed eaten the leftovers you had saved for him.
“It’s ok. I can take a nap later,”
The rest of breakfast is spent in silence, mostly due to Hyunjin being too busy stuffing his face. You take a glance at him, definitely noticing that he’s much skinnier than he probably should be, your casual shirt is baggier on him than it is on you. A frown falls on your face at that thought. How long had he been on the streets for?
Once Hyunjin has finished cleaning off his place he murmurs a quick thank you and it’s so soft you almost don’t even hear it. He starts to fidget in his seat a little, anxiety practically rolling off of him in waves as if unsure what to do.
“So. What’s your story? If you don’t mind me asking,” You break the slightly awkward silence between the two of you, though maybe your question wasn’t exactly the ice breaker you should start with.
Hyunjin just shrugs, as if it’s not a very interesting story. “Mm, I was a gift to a ten year old girl. Why they bought a hybrid for a little girl I’ll never know. They pretty much forbid me from being in my human form though so I was reduced to being just a ferret. I only ever got to stretch out my legs when no one was home. That was my life for a few years. Eventually she got bored of me, constantly forgetting to feed me or changing my water. After a while her parents got tired and surrendered me. But instead of doing it properly they just left me on the side of the road somewhere. I didn’t want to go back to a shelter so, I just decided that being a stray was probably better than getting adopted by someone only to be forgotten again,”
A frown tugs at your lips. People could be so cruel.
“So what do you want to do?” You ask simply but he tilts his head, both confusion and curiosity swimming in his eyes. “I mean do you want to stay here? Or you can leave of course. I’m not gonna make you to stay or anything,”
“Wait. You’d let me stay here?”
“Yeah, I don’t see why not? As you can tell I have plenty of room so it’s not really a bother,” Hyunjin blinks at you, as if not believing your words. “Again, it’s up to you. I’m not gonna force you into something that would make you feel uncomfortable or worse, trapped again,”
He seems to be rather deep in thought so you let him take the time to process your words. If you’re honest you hadn’t really stopped to think about your own words either, just spewing out what felt right. You had always been someone who went with the flow, to ‘trust the process’. Rarely did you ever look before you leaped. Yet this felt right. If Hyunjin chose to stay, it would be a decision you would never regret.
“So…you would adopt me if I stay?”
“Again, If you want. You could also be independent if you wanted, I’d still be happy to give you a room,”
“I just turned twenty though, I’m not eligible to apply for independence,” You shrug at this, moving to rest your chin in the palm of your hand.
“It’s up to you still, if it makes you uncomfortable I don’t have to adopt you,”
“But! You could get in trouble for having an unowned hybrid,” At this you grin, teeth almost glinting.
“That only makes it more fun, yeah?” Your tone is light so he can clearly see that you are just joking “Seriously, it’s up to you. Whatever will make you happy,” Hyunjin falls into another silence, eyebrows furrowed in thought. “Do you want to sleep on it? You don’t have to make a decision now,”
“No!” He startles you with how loud his voice is suddenly, causing him to flush at his own volume. “I mean- no, it’s ok. If…you’re ok with it, I’d be um. Happy if you adopted me. I wouldn’t want you to get in trouble because of me,”
“Then it’s settled. We can go to the shelter tomorrow to fill out paperwork, sound good?”
Hyunjin nods at this before getting up out of his seat, coming closer to you. You blink up at him, curious about what he was doing. Gently he takes your hand before bringing it up to his lips, pressing a soft kiss against your bandaged finger.
Your cheeks flush a bright red without your permission and you certainly don’t miss the way Hyunjin’s lips curl up just slightly into a smirk at your reaction.
“I’m sorry for biting you. Thank you. For letting me stay. Really,”
Tumblr media
The adoption process is easy, thankfully. Since Hyunjin’s previous owners had abandoned him, it was as simple as signing a few papers. In the eyes of the law you were now Hyunjin’s rightful owner but, you had made it perfectly clear to the boy that you did not see yourself as that. He was an equal in your house and you would never treat him as anything less. That he was simply like a roommate to you.
Because of this the boy had insisted on getting a job, wanting to pay you rent or something in exchange for letting you stay with him. The two of you had argued back and forth on the subject, with you not wanting Hyunjin to feel like he owed you and Hyunjin not wanting to feel like a burden. In the end you agreed, only because of those stupid pretty sparkly eyes that stared at you as he begged. That and you felt like it was a good step towards him feeling like his own person, after all, you didn’t want the poor boy to be stuck home while you were off at work.
Yet a week passed by with no luck from Hyunjin’s end. You had come back home from work one day to find the boy at the dinner table, sitting in a chair as his upper body was sprawled across the surface. You had quickly learned that the ferret was rather dramatic, but he certainly added some much needed flair in your life.
You walked over to the boy, petting his head softly to which he nuzzled a little further into your hand. “No luck?”
Hyunjin groans. “No. Either they don’t hire hybrids or the salary just isn’t worth it,” He whines, cheek pressed to the table and a pout on his lips.
“I’m sure something will come along,” You hum out, moving around the kitchen to start on dinner. Hyunjin waddles up from behind you so he can circle his arms around your middle, resting his head on your shoulder. You had learned very quickly that he was very affectionate, something most hybrids had in common. It was the most common reason people adopted one, to have a companion, someone to make your life a little less lonely.
But it was also the main reason people abandoned their hybrids. Too clingy, too needy. If you were honest you were a bit touched starved yourself. Your last relationship had been a few years ago and even then your partners had made you feel bad about it, calling you similar words. So you certainly didn’t mind Hyunjin’s touchy nature.
“What if nothing comes?” Hyunjin’s voice is soft and there’s a twinge of disappointment in his tone A soft sigh falls from your lips before you move to turn in his embrace, letting your own arms wrap around his shoulders. You could tell how bad he wanted this, how much he wanted to feel independent, for his DNA to not be what defines him. He buries his face further into the crook of your neck.
It’s then that the idea pops in your head.
“Oh! Hyun!!!” He startles out of your arms for a second, ever the dramatic ferret with comedically large eyes. Though you suppose your voice was a little louder than usual. “Oops sorry, got a little excited,” You laugh while the boy continues to just blink at you. “Why don’t you just come work for me?”
“Huh?”
“Remember I told you I owned a book cafe? You should just come work there! I don’t know why I didn’t think about it sooner!!” At this, Hyunjin’s eyes sparkle for just a second before he’s frowning.
“But - doesn’t that defeat the purpose? You’d be paying me instead of me paying you for rent,” You frown, nose scrunching up as you try to think of a solution.
“Ok, what about this then. You come work for me and I pay you an actual wage,” Hyunjin opens his mouth to protest but you cut him off with a finger to his plush lips. “BUT. I’ll deduct rent” You say the words with finger quotations and he glares at you. “From your paycheck but still leave you enough that you can spend or save how ever you’d like,” Hyunjin still seems a little hesitant so you pull out your best pout and puppy dog eyes. The boy is practically putty in your hands. “I couuuuuld really use the help now that my seasonal employees have left after the winter season,”
He lets out a huff, seemingly annoyed but the small grin that’s blooming on his face easily gives him away.
“Ok, ok fine! But only because you seem like you reaaaaaaally need me,” his lips quirk into a smirk and you have to hold back from rolling his eyes. Of course he takes the opportunity to one up you.
“I do, I need you sooooooo bad hyunnie,” You’re not one to back down though, continuing your little game, batting your eyelashes for added effect. It seems that you win this round as his face turns a bright red, turning away to hide his flushed cheeks. Hyunjin lets out an embarrassed squeak before skittering off, yelling out to you to let him know when dinner is ready.
You laugh softly to yourself, going back to preparing a dinner for the two of you. summary: you decide to celebrate your third wedding anniversary by having a romantic picnic with lots of wine and two horny husbands.
this is a fictional story. nothing in this fan-fiction represents hyunjin, felix, or stray kids as a whole. NOR does it represent their relationships with each other.
read at your own risk.
____
three years have passed since your wedding day. over one thousand days of being cared for and adored by both of your partners.
you had met hyunjin first, he was a regular at the same library you attended every monday, wednesday, and friday. he was a stranger, but he made sure that didn’t last. as each day passed, his stolen glances grew more frequent and his proximity grew closer and closer until you both could be spotted at the same table, quietly bickering over the novel you were both reading.
it wasn’t long after that hyunjin mustered up the courage to ask you out. the library was rigidly silent before hyunjin came out with it, “would you like to come over for dinner tonight? i’ve been dying to try this pasta recipe but it feeds two and i hate leftovers.” his face turning a pale shade of red before everting his gaze from yours.
naturally, you accepted and the rest was history. you two were shamelessly in love ever since.
you two had been together for a year before you met felix for the first time.
you and hyunjin met felix during a night out at a local bar. it was karaoke night and you had enough liquid courage to storm the main stage and sing your heart out to the lyrics of “My Heart Will Go On” by celine dion. Hyunjin admired you from the table you were both sitting at beforehand, sipping on an espresso martini. to his left, stood a blonde-headed boy who was smaller than him, sipping on a beer with his group of friends. The boy was thoroughly entertained by your performance, his laugh like silk as you made a fool out of yourself.
“she’s amazing” he said to his friend, but loud enough for hyunjin to hear, which made him shift his focus from you to the younger boy.
when hyunjin laid his eyes on felix for the first time, his first thought was how beautiful he was. He quickly took note of the freckles that dusted his cheeks, and his light brown eyes.
“after she comes down, you should totally ask her out” felix’s friend suggests with a smirk and a playful shove. felix couldn’t help but giggle and nod.
“she’s mine.” hyunjin spoke up, setting his cocktail down on the table. felix snapped his head in the direction of his voice, his face full of fear.
“oh, mate, i had no idea.. i wouldn’t have said anything if i had known.” he shook his head and pled his case.
“relax, there’s no way you could’ve known.” hyunjin broke his hard facade with a polite half smile. “come sit.” he gestured to the empty chair across from him.
felix visibly gulped and slid into the chair.
“what’s your name?” hyunjin asked, leaning forward to hear over the music.
“felix.. lee felix” the blonde replied quickly.
“hyunjin,” he said, holding his hand out for a truce.
felix met his hand and shook gently with an awkward nod.
“i like you.” hyunjin admitted
felix had a look of confusion painted across his face.
“i think you’re cute.”
“.. but didn’t you just say..”
“we’re open.”
felix still didn’t understand.
“we have an open relationship, and i think you’re cute” hyunjin clarified.
felix choked on his beer.
“oh, um..” he wasn’t sure how to respond.
before hyunjin could continue, you were stumbling back over to the table.
“hey baby!!” you exclaimed, throwing your arms around hyunjin’s neck. “i missed you” you giggled drunkenly.
hyunjin couldn’t help but laugh as he placed an arm around your waist.
“this is felix, we just made friends.” hyunjin said, turning you slightly to face the timid boy.
“hi” felix almost whimpered, offering a small wave.
“y/n, nice to meet you phoenix” you replied with a toothy smile.
“oh, that’s not-“ felix started before hyunjin interrupted him
“i was just asking if felix wanted to come home with us tonight, what do you think angel?” he asked, tucking a small piece of hair behind your ear.
immediately, you knew where this was headed and the realization was mildly sobering.
you looked back over at felix, taking him in completely this time, before looking back at your boyfriend.
“that sounds lovely.” you answered sweetly. “what do you think, freckles?” you cocked your head at felix.
felix looked absolutely mortified, like a deer in headlights. Nevertheless, he slid out of his chair and looked between both of you
“let’s get out of here.”
That was over three years ago, and today you are all celebrating your third wedding anniversary.
The whole thing was hyunjin and felix’s idea, they were truly the most lovesick pair you had ever seen. they were almost frantic in your kitchen, shoving expensive wine into the picnic basket and perfecting the charcuterie board for your date.
you had just finished getting ready, a flowy, snug fit sundress and a head full of loose curls. little did you know you were walking into a disaster of a kitchen.
“guys what the fuck happened in here? it looks like a tornado flew around the kitchen.” you gasped, looking at the mess they had made in preparation for your celebration.
felix was boxing up the last few finger foods before waltzing over to you to place a kiss on your temple.
“don’t worry about any of this, me and hyune will clean it up whenever we get back, mkay?” he reassured you, filling his arms with food and drinks to bring to the car.
you grinned and shook your head before reaching out to grab some of the load, but hyunjin yanked it from your grasp.
“what do you think you’re doing? what kind of husband makes his wife carry her own anniversary gift?” he looked viscerally offended. “go wait in the car my love” he cracked, shooting you a dashing smile and a wink.
you playfully pinched his hip as he brushed past you before heading to the car like you were instructed. felix was waiting outside of the car with the door ajar, waiting to help you inside with an out stretched hand.
“wow, so formal today.” you smirked, taking his hand and climbing into the car.
“always the best for our princess.” he smiled, waiting for you to get comfortable, before gently closing the door.
____
the ride was long, but only because your date was a picnic in a secluded field of flowers.
whenever you arrived, hyunjin and felix worked quickly to lay a large quilted blanket down and set up your lunch.
you thanked them for everything before sitting down between them.
you ate together and emptied wine glass after wine glass. you talked of the past and of the future, and of how much you adored one another.
“i bet if we had kids they’d look exactly like me and have y/nnie’s attitude.” hyunjin teased, propping himself up on his side while plucking grapes off their vine. He delicately placed one in each of your mouths.
“hey, what is that supposed to mean?” you gasped with your mouth full of grapes and slapped his arm playfully.
“it just means they’d be so kind and so sweet and so perfect and not sarcastic, short-tempered, or sassy at all!!” felix mocked as you landed another playful slap, now into his arm.
“you’re one to talk” you rolled your eyes as the laughter died down slowly
“in my defense, i only have an attitude around you guys if i’m trying to have it fucked out of me.” felix shrugged nonchalantly, causing both you and hyunjin to grow wide-eyed and cough at his suddenly bold statement.
“jesus, lix” hyunjin placed a hand over his mouth, trying his best to finish his last bite of food
“at least he’s honest” you added, resting back on your palms
felix blushed smugly at your reactions before picking the original conversation back up
“i would love to have children one day..” he added with shyness laced in his voice
you and hyunjin’s attention shifted to him at the sudden seriousness
“you would?” you asked sweetly
felix nodded, toying with a blade of grass near his hand
you looked over at your other husband, who then looked back at you. you weren’t sure why, but these kinds of conversations always made it difficult for you to navigate. Although you all loved one another equally, whenever it came to the discussion of starting a family, the reality of things had to be faced. Hyunjin, knowing how you are, spoke up first.
“let’s have a baby then,” he said before taking another sip of wine.
this made your heart race as you looked between both of them.
“but-“ you began and felix cut you off this time.
“i don’t care who the father is. The way i see it, we’re all three connected and we would all love the baby the same regardless.” felix offered, trying to soothe your anxious state.
you took a deep breath as the tension built upon itself.
“i’m sorry, i just wasn’t really expected to talk about this today. I apologize for my hesitation. Of course, I would love to have children with you, but only if we’re all sure.”
hyunjin and felix chuckled, sitting up.
“i don’t think we’re ever been more sure of anything in our lives, angel” hyunjin smiled before placing a tender kiss to your lips and running his hand up your thigh.
felix wasn’t far behind him, moving your hair to place an open-mouth kiss to the side of your neck as you sat in between the two men.
you closed your eyes in pleasure, melting into their touches. as hyunjin left your lips you spoke up
“what, are you guys going to knock me up in this field?” you laughed sarcastically, waiting for them to catch on. Instead, the two boys turned their attention to each other with twin calculating looks in their eyes and then back over to you.
“yes,” they said in unison, hyunjin returning to your lips and felix back to your neck.
you moaned into hyunjin’s mouth at the realization and instinctively parted your legs ever so slightly.
even though the movement was quaint, felix took note and moved his hand up your inner thigh gently as he kissed down your collarbone.
“may i?” felix broke the silence, fingers dancing dangerously close to your panties.
hyunjin broke the heated kiss at his question.
“what do you say, pretty girl?” he glanced at felix, and back into your pleading eyes.
“please,” you whined, opening your legs more for felix to fit in between and get to work.
felix hummed and tugged your lace panties down your legs, discarding them nearby. Bring his mouth to your heat, kissing your clit softly to let you know he was starting.
your breath hitched in your throat as hyunjin moved to support you from behind, your back resting against his chest as you got comfortable.
“that’s it, baby, relax” hyunjin cooed in your ear, running his hand up your side.
felix wasted no time licking away at your cunt. his arms were wrapped around your thighs, his thumb rubbing at your clit.
eating you out had to be felix’s favorite thing to do. he could spend all day pleasing you, hearing you cry out for him.
your wetness was dripping down his chin and he loved how filthy it made him feel.
“you taste so sweet” he groaned, entranced by you and the way you responded to him. he moved one hand from your thigh and brought two fingers up your heat, running them down to collect some lubrication.
“look at that, you’re in for a treat darling.” hyunjin half-whispered into your ear, brushing the straps of your dress off your shoulders to allow him access to your breasts.
felix blushed at his husband’s comment before dipping the first finger into your pussy.
felix slowly pumped his finger in and out of you while hyunjin pushed your dress down to reveal your chest. he hummed at his success and began toying with your nipple between his slender fingers.
your back arched at the new sensation and it caused you to clench around felix’s fingers.
“feel good?” hyunjin questioned, pinching your nipple gently.
“fuck, yes. you both feel so amazing.” you whimpered out, clinging to the picnic blanket that laid underneath all of you.
felix had resumed eating you out, adding another finger to fuck into you, growing more eager by the second.
hyunjin brought one of his hands up to his mouth to spit into his palm before bringing it back down over your nipple, swirling the saliva over the sensitive bud.
“hyunjin…” you sighed blissfully, arching your back into his touch.
felix had completely zeroed in on your cunt, fucking his fingers into you at a steady pace while lapping at your clit
“i need you to cum on my face” felix whined desperately, only detaching himself long enough to utter the one sentence.
you groaned at his words and hyunjin’s massage
“i’m close” you mewled, knuckles growing white from your tightening grip
“let go for us, be a good girl.” hyunjin cooed, never ceasing his movements.
that’s all it took for you to twitch and release all over felix’s fingers and his face. He wasted no time licking up anything that missed him and left a trail of kisses across your lower half.
“fuck, that was so hot” felix growled, sitting up between your legs.
“let me taste her.” hyunjin ordered, gripping the young boy by the back of his head and crashing their lips together.
You watched as your husbands made out just above your head, the remnants of your release dripping down from their lips and onto your bare chest.
you always had a lingering sense of guilt, for no reason that you could pinpoint. Both of them catered to you more than they catered to each other, and that always made you feel a little strange. you always hoped they weren’t sacrificing anything to be in this kind of relationship. But it was times like these, watching them melt into each other's touch, that you felt your heart swell, and you could relax, knowing they loved each other, too.
the kiss ended and hyunjin moved out from behind you to face you now.
“you ready for us, doll?” hyunjin asked softly, rubbing your cheek with his thumb.
you nodded as felix removed his shirt and began undoing his pants to slip them off.
“words, y/n” hyunjin reminded you, waiting patiently for your approval to remove his clothes
“always ready for you.” you smiled, tugging on the hem of hyunjin’s shirt and he wasted no time removing it over his head and then discarding his pants as well.
felix helped you lie down on your back while hyunjin positioned himself between your legs and felix positioned himself behind your head.
“you okay if i use your mouth while hyunjin fucks you?” felix asked softly, stroking his hard cock.
“of course, lixie wanna taste you.” you nod and lean your head back to make it easier on him.
he blushed at the nickname and looked at hyunjin.
“you can start, wanna make sure she’s okay before I stuff her mouth full.” felix chuckled and you rolled your eyes playfully.
hyunjin said nothing, too focused on the way you looked beneath him. he slid the head of his cock up and down your slit experimentally, gathering your wetness before pushing into you slowly.
you whined at the stretch and felix ran his fingers over your cheek, consoling you.
“you doing okay sweet girl?” hyunjin asked, halting his movements.
“yes, yes i’m perfect baby.” you nodded frantically “please give me more,” you begged
hyunjin moaned as he pushed deeper into you, moving your legs to wrap around his hips.
felix took that as his signal to push his cock into your mouth, his eyes rolling back at the warmth, slowly fucking his cock into you.
“fuck baby, how are you still so tight?” hyunjin mewled, throwing his head back, licking his lips
you moaned around felix’s cock as hyunjin’s hips sped up, your body felt like it was floating from the overstimulation.
hyunjin and felix both reached for your tits, hands brushing over each other before they both claimed one, teasing you once again.
“fuck, hyune, i don’t think i’m gonna last.” felix whimpered out to the other boy.
hyunjin was still trying to compose himself, biting his lip between moans
“you don’t have to hold on lixie, we have all day.” hyunjin squeezed the other boy’s pinkie, reassuring him.
felix whimpered, his hips speeding up, repeatedly hitting the back of your throat.
“baby i’m gonna cum, can i come in your mouth? please please, can i?” he stuttered
you moaned out in approval, back arching off the ground.
felix’s hip shuddered, his warm milky release filling your mouth, you swallowing it up without hesitation.
hyunjin’s pace quickened, fucking into you deeper and harder.
your eyes were brewing tears, gasping for air.
“y/n, i’m gonna cum. i’m gonna cum inside of you, are you ready for me?” hyunjin growled, placing his hands on your hips to stabilize himself.
“please, need you to fill me up. please hyune.” you mewled, finding felix’s hand and holding onto it tightly.
“fuck- i’m cumming.” hyunjin confirmed, landing sharp thrusts into your cunt, filling you to the brim.
felix wiped the tears off your cheeks and caressed your cheeks as you came down.
“you’re such a good girl, y/n. our perfect girl.” felix praised sweetly.
hyunjin leaned down and kissed your lips sweetly, leaving a few stray kisses on your neck after.
“did so good. you’re so good for us.” hyunjin breathed out, slowly pulling out of you.
you smiled beneath them and leaned into felix’s hand.
“can i feel you too lixie?” you looked up innocently at the freckled boy.
he looked surprised, “are you sure baby? that was a lot just now.”
you nodded, sure of yourself. “want you too.”
hyunjin chuckled at your cute exchange.
“felix, switch places with y/n,” he instructed, moving back so you two had room to do so.
felix obeyed and laid down on his back, his cock soft due to his release.
you sat next to felix, waiting for hyunjin’s instruction.
hyunjin moved in between the younger boy's legs, leaning down to kiss him.
felix whimpered into hyunjin’s lips, both their cocks growing hard once again at the contact. felix’s hands found purchase in hyunjin’s hair, pulling him deeper into the kiss.
you watched in awe, running your soft hands up the side of felix’s leg.
hyunjin let him go, smirking.
“my turn.” you smiled, leaning down to capture felix’s lips this time.
felix smiled into your kiss, his lips tasted like hyunjin and wine.
hyunjin took advantage of the distraction and spit into his palm, rubbing the lubrication over his head and felix’s opening.
hyunjin lined his cock up with felix’s hole and slowly pushed forward.
felix squealed into your mouth at the unexpected intrusion. it startled you so you looked toward hyunjin and quickly picked up on what was happening.
“hyunjin! it was my turn!” you complained, looking at him in belief.
felix became a moaning mess as hyunjin began fucking into him.
“fuck, hyung, you’re so big.” he all but screamed out.
“baby, it’s still your turn.” hyunjin chuckled “come on, climb in front of me.” he pulled you onto felix.
“oh fuck-“ felix realized what was going to happen “i, oh-fuck, i can't handle-“ he couldn’t finish his sentence.
you followed hyunjin’s guidance and lowered yourself onto felix’s length, earning a loud cry from the pitiful boy below you.
hyunjin held onto you while he fucked deeper into felix, and set the pace for you to ride your shared partner.
you toyed with felix’s nipples as hyunjin held onto you as if he owned you, biting into your neck and shoulders and your hips moved up and down.
felix was seeing stars, his eyes were rolled back into his skull and his breathing was staggered, completely encapsulated by you and hyunjin’s movements.
“lix- you’re - fuck - you’re so perfect.” you praised him, resting your palms on his chest now
“feels perfect too” hyunjin chimed in.
all felix could do was groan out, still not being able to focus on anything.
“are you gonna cum for us baby boy?” you whined, staring at his fucked out expression
he nodded quickly
“gonna make our girl a mommy?” hyunjin added.
felix squealed out and thrusted his hips upwards as he came in you without warning.
you moaned out and hyunjin did the same, finishing inside the smaller boy.
everyone was catching their breath at the same time, you picked yourself off of felix and fell onto the blanket next to him, chests heaving.
hyunjin pulled out of felix slowly and gently, making sure not to hurt him.
after a minute or so of regaining composure, the silence was broken.
“happy anniversary, my pillow princesses.” hyunjin giggled with his bunny smile, leaning over the two of you to place playful kisses on both of your flushed faces.
you and felix both blushed and wiped your faces after his wet kisses.
“happy anniversary.” you smiled at them both, pulling hyunjin down so you could lay in between them.
“i’m so glad you were horrendous at karaoke.” felix challenged and quickly hid his face, awaiting your retaliation, which immediately came after.
“felix! that’s so mean! oh my gosh!” it was hyunjin’s turn to chime in, giggling sweetly.
you laughed as the boys began to playfully fight over you. you looked over at your left hand, where a small golden band hugged your finger.
you sighed happily as their bickering continued,
you were in love.
the end.

omg arabella by arctic monkeys with ellie williams

— pairing modern!ellie x fem!reader | wc 0.4k | song + lyrics “that little lady sittin’ on the passenger side, it’s much less picturesque without her catchin’ light” (arabella by arctic monkeys) | note this song with ms williams, yes please !!!
Tumblr media
“you should wear your hair like this more often,” you told ellie, leaning over the center console and tucking a stray strand out of her face. the warm, sinking sun illuminated her freckles, side profile lit aglow with orange light as she drove, and her wet, disheveled hair styled half-up half-down rather messily. you thought she looked good; looked like her.
she spared you a glance from the road, her right hand coming to find yours, and grinned. “maybe i will.”
although you both had left the beach nearly forty minutes ago, your bikini top was still damp, and sand clung annoyingly to your drying skin. while you were somewhat uncomfortable in your own body, wanting nothing more than to shower and wash away the salt water aroma that was still cohesively attached to the air, you adjusted yourself to be closer to your girlfriend.
“good,” you replied, pulling your intertwined hands together and kissing the back of her palm. ellie’s tanned skin smelled of leftover sunscreen. she always burned too easily in the sun, especially on her shoulders. and as you glanced at where her cut-off sleeves ended, her exposed shoulders and upper biceps were indeed a dark pink, contrasting the green of her loose shirt.
you squeezed her hand sharply, brows knitted with abrupt disapproval. “i told you to apply more sunscreen when i went to go get us drinks!” she opened her mouth to argue, but you shook your head. “and before you try and argue with me, your shoulders are literal proof that you didn’t.”
ellie scoffed, her emerald eyes flicking to yours. “i did!” she added “i swear” after you shot her a skeptical look.
“well, clearly it wasn’t enough.”
she huffed out a heavy sigh before saying, “maybe you should’ve helped me then.”
there was a lilt in her voice, but you didn’t feed into it. “i would’ve had you waited, babe.”
“you told me to do it when you left!” she countered desperately, going to pull her hand pettily from your grasp with a displeased frown. but you held on tighter, resting your touching elbows on the center console.
her tattooed forearm pressed against your breasts, inked skin meeting the swell of your cleavage. you were sure she could feel your steady yet quickening heartbeat. “maybe you should’ve waited.”
ellie’s cheeks flamed when she noticed your teasing grin, but her confident facade didn’t break as she said, eyes on the black pavement ahead, “you’re right. maybe i should’ve waited.”
“damn right!” you snapped, leaning down to press your temple against her upper arm. she laughed—a deep, throaty chuckle, and you felt your smile grow bigger, enveloped in the benevolent sun that slowly disappeared behind the horizon.

Tropetember 11
Modern day restaurant - enemy colleagues to lovers
You work at baratie - for some reason, Sanji hates you.
But when you meet outside of the restaurant, things change
Tumblr media
Sanji looked like a literal popstar: handsome face, great physique. But he was your worst nightmare. He was the collegue that hated your guts.
You salted too much or too little, you weren't fast enough, he even nagged you about how you cut tomatoes for a simple salad. A real ass. He had adored you for a full two minutes before learning that Zeff had hired you to bring innovation to Baratie, pushing Sanji from his throne as the restaurants golden boy.
Every day was a fight against him. Zeff hired you because you graduated top of your class in one of the best schools for gastronomy. Learning from the best had made you confident that you could survive in this kitchen. Both regarding the work and the tough tone, but Sanji got to you.
You were just preparing fish as the hair on you neck raised - Sanji alarm.
As you cut the Filet, you heard a "tssk", already setting you off.
"This is a gourmet restaurant, not a butcher shop" He hissed.
"Oh really? Than why do you act like this was a cheap speed dating event every night, you pervert?" Your little burn earned you a chuckle from the other cooks.
In a second, Sanji was behind you, his hand on yours, grabbing the knife with your hand. In seconds, he had perfectly prepared the filet, the movements of his hands were precise and practiced.
"That's how you do it" He said and swaggered away again.
"I could have done it by myself, you stuck up jerk" you shouted behind him, gesturing with the knife.
"It's a long time until you can dance with the big boys, little girl" He answered as he vanished into the dining area, doubtlessly planning to chat up some poor woman.
Your heart was pounding hard. You would show him. Somehow.
Sanji
When he first saw her, she looked like any other girl. Cute, pretty. But now, she made his skin crawl. New shooting star at the restaurant? From some fancy school? And Zeff loved her every idea. But Sanji knew her kind - only a great career in mind but no respect for food, no character. No heart. He couldn't respect her as a cook.
But she was good, if he didn't watch out, he'd stay behind. He couldn't deny that she brought exciting ideas and techniques to the table, but he didn't have to openly admit it, either. He had learned his trade the hard way, from Zeff. He would take over the restaurant one day, not her.
He had sworn to himself to never treat a lady badly, but she got to him. Little miss perfect. She was a great cook, she had a quick mouth and a drive that was hard to ignore. He loved their little shit talking duels more than he would want to admit. It was exciting him more than a new lady guest these days.
Zeff tried to keep them separate, to minimise fighting, and for a few busy hours he forgot she was there. Almost. He more than once turned around, having heard adorable little sighs - only to see that they belonged to her.
When it got late and the restaurant emptied, he went outside for a smoke. Enjoying the cool air, having a moment of silence.
"Psspss!" He heard.
Carefully, he peered into the dark alley behind the restaurant. Was that y/n? Did she feed...stray cats?
You
What a shift. It was a hard job, but it made you proud. Time for a break.
The night before you had seen a group of stray cats in the streets. You took the cuts from the fish and chicken, that would be thrown away, and waited in the alley.
Soon, a big, burly red tabby cat, one eyed and dirty, approached you.
"Psspss!" You held your hand out. The stray came cautiously nearer and sniffed your hand. You put a plate with the leftovers on the pavement in front of him, and after a short inspection he began to eat the scraps.
"Good little tigger!" You scratched his ear carefully. You have decided to call him tigger, like the one from winnie the pooh!
"What's that?" A harsh voice asked. It was Sanji, his chef's attire was unbuttoned and a cigarette smouldered in the corner of his mouth.
Fuck, not that guy!
He took the scene in with scrutiny, no doubt thinking how to report to Zeff that you were feeding vermin behind the restaurant.
"It's not what it looks like!" You tried to defend the situation. "It's...uhm" But you couldn't think of anything.
"You're wrong, lady!" He looked angry, intense.
"His name is Garfield!" Sanji passionately petted the cat.
"What?"
"Garfield. He likes lasagna." Sanji smiled now, a relaxed, happy smile. To Die for.
"Didn't know you were into stray cats" He said, still running his hand through the cats thick fur.
"They're poor things, I can't ignore them" you said, still unsure what to think.
For a while, you Two just watch the little feline devour his dinner. He snorted and spewed like a little pig,.it made you giggle.
You hadn't expected that a posh guy like Sanji would even touch a dirty stray.
"You know, I've been feeding him, too. He has a few friends as well, but they're shy." He said, looking at you with an new softness in his eyes.
"I gotta say, didn't think you liked animals." He muttered more to himself than you.
"Of course. They need help, so I help them" it was a simple fact. You watched as garfield/ tigger finished his meal and vanished into the night again.
"Well, break is over." You collected the plate and turned to go back into the kitchen.
"Stay a little" Sanji said, his voice sounded genuinely charming, promising that he would make it worth your while.
So you stayed while he smoked.
"You know, when I was small I would cook for the Rats in my parents house" He said, making you chuckle.
"Rats?" You asked, unbelieving.
"Yeah, it's true" He winked at you, suddenly a full gentleman, "vermin in our house."
"Did they like it?" You asked, imagining him cooking little meals.
"They didn't complain" he looked sheepishly at you.
"That sounds so sweet" you said. He laughed.
"Normally, people call it disgusting" he sounded a bit sad.
"Well, I think it's cute. Rats are cute" you stated.
"They are!" He agreed.
A conversation about rat paws ensued, about their little button eyes and how intelligent they where.
When Zeff called you inside from your break, you both returned to the kitchen for cleaning the place up.
When everything was done and it was time to go home, he waited for you.
"Need a lift home?" He asked, standing in front of his car. It was old, used and bruised.
"Why not" you rounded the vehicle and sat in the passenger seat. After cleaning out a bag, empty bottles and some perfume.
"Yeah, sorry about that, didn't think I'd drive a lady home" He said, looking embarrassed.
"I'm used to it. You should see my dad's car - it's full of straw and smells like dog." You said.
"Good man!" He laughed.
The drive home was a bit awkward, you were still getting used to him being nice.
"Sanji, why are you so nice all of a sudden?" You asked.
"There we are" you said as the car pulled into youe road.
"If garfield likes you, you must be OK." He said, as if a cat could explain his sudden change in demeanor. Leaving out the part that his anger had partly been because of the sheer need to kiss her that he couldn't explain. Or his need, right now, to reach over and grab her thigh.
"That's my house" you pointed to a grey apartment building.
"I'll bring you to your door."
_____
And that's it for today because life has a way of happening and I have no time to continue at this point, I am so sorry.
My own little cat needs to go to the vet and I hope it turns out OK 😔

happy birthday, reese <3
For @r33sespieces :)
---
“Shh, no, you have to be quiet.”
Sirius pauses outside Harry’s room, cocking his head. Harry’s been holed up in there since shortly after dinner, but Sirius hadn’t thought too much of it. It’s been pissing down all afternoon, and Sirius figured both of them could use a lazy day. For his part, he took a luxurious nap earlier, and the newest book in a romance series he’s been following arrived by owl post this morning. He’s looking forward to curling up with it in front of the fire. If he’s lucky, maybe Harry will come downstairs with his chess set later and ask to play a game together.
There’s a whine from behind the closed door, and then a soft yip. Sirius blinks.
“Hazza,” he says, rapping his knuckles softly on the door, and he hears Harry curse. “Everything alright?”
“Fine!” Harry says quickly. “I’m just--”
He’s interrupted by a loud bark, and Sirius’s eyebrows fly up to his hairline.
“Can I come in?” he asks, and he hears Harry sigh.
“Yeah.”
Harry’s standing over by the bed, dripping wet and clutching a soaked brown-and-white puppy against his chest.
“Well, hello,” Sirius says as he steps into the room. “Who’s this?”
“Dunno,” Harry says, cuddling the puppy close and shrinking away when Sirius takes a step forward. Sirius freezes. “Found him out in the garden.”
“Poor thing,” Sirius says. It’s been miserable outside for two days now. “Can I take a look at him?”
“Why?” Harry asks, instantly suspicious.
“I just want to make sure he’s okay, that he doesn’t have any injuries or anything like that.” Sirius starts to pull out his wand, but Harry backs away, so he quickly pockets it. “Can we sit down?”
They sit on the circular rug in the middle of Harry’s bedroom, and Harry gently places the puppy in front of him. The puppy shivers, and then takes a few uncertain steps. He’s wobbly, but that seems to be due to how young he is, not any injuries. Sirius puts out his hand, and the puppy sniffs him. His tail wags.
“Aren’t you mad?” Harry asks softly, not meeting Sirius’s eyes.
“I’m not thrilled you snuck a puppy in here without talking to me first,” Sirius says. “But no, Harry, I’m not mad. If you’d told me you’d found him in the garden, I would’ve had you bring him inside, too. We can keep him warm and dry for a night, and then tomorrow we’ll take him to a shelter. Speaking of, can I dry him off? He’s shivering. You as well, kiddo.”
After a moment’s hesitation, Harry nods, and Sirius pulls out his wand. He performs a quick drying spell, and then a cleaning charm, and then casts a heating spell over both Harry and the puppy.
“I bet he’s hungry,” Sirius says. “Why don’t you bring him down to the kitchen, and we can feed him?”
Harry hesitates again, then gathers the puppy in his arms and goes down to the kitchen, Sirius following them. He doesn’t know what exactly is causing Harry’s reluctance, but he has a suspicion.
He cuts up some leftover chicken for Harry to feed the puppy, and then goes into Remus’s office to gather up the rope toys Moony likes to use, as well as the crate he sometimes curls up in to nap off the Wolfsbane during full moons. Harry eyes the crate warily when Sirius comes back into the kitchen.
“So he’ll have somewhere warm and safe to sleep tonight,” Sirius says. “I doubt he’s house-trained, and sorry mate, but I don’t fancy him pissing all over the house all night.”
Harry reluctantly nods. “Yeah, okay.”
The puppy eats and drinks his fill, and then Harry entices him to play with one of the rope toys. Sirius can’t help the smile that touches his lips as he watches them, the puppy having the time of his life and Harry giggling--giggling!--while they play.
The puppy eventually tires himself out and falls asleep curled up in Harry’s lap.
“There was a dog in the Dursleys’ garden once.” Harry’s not looking at him. He strokes one of the puppy’s ears with a gentle finger. “She was a stray. I brought her scraps from the table whenever Aunt Petunia sent me outside to do chores.”
Scraps that Harry had probably needed for himself, but he’d split them with a stray instead. His heart ached. “That was really kind of you, Hazza.”
“She was my first friend,” Harry says softly. “My only friend. She lived in the garden for most of the summer, until Dudley found out about her.”
“Oh, Harry.”
“He and his friends chased her off. Hit her with sticks and threw rocks at her. I never saw her again.”
“She probably found a home,” Sirius says. “She sounds friendly. I’m sure someone took her in.”
“Yeah,” Harry says. “I hope so.”
Sirius hears the Floo roar, and then Remus calls out a hello.
“In here, Remus,” he says.
Remus comes into the kitchen, and his eyes widen. “Well, you two were certainly busy today.”
“Harry found him in the garden,” Sirius says. “The weather’s shite. I don’t see a problem with letting him stay tonight, and then we’ll take him to a shelter tomorrow.”
“Sure, of course we will,” Remus says, sounding amused.
The puppy wakes himself up with a yawn, and then eyes Remus curiously. He gets out of Harry’s lap and trots over to the other man, sniffing him curiously. Remus holds very still--animals tend to have very strong reactions to him. Either they adore him, or they’re terrified of him.
The puppy is apparently in the former category, because his tail starts to wag and he lets out a series of happy yips. Remus crouches down to pet him.
“You’re a handsome fellow, aren’t you,” he says. “Yes, you are. And much better behaved than Padfoot.”
“You hear how he talks to me, Harry?”
Harry laughs, and Sirius wishes he could bottle the sound. It doesn’t happen enough.
Harry and the puppy are inseparable for the rest of the evening. Remus keeps throwing Sirius significant looks that he tries to ignore. They’re not getting a pet. Hedwig is enough. In the morning, they’ll take the puppy to the nearest shelter, and Sirius will personally make sure he goes to a good home.
When it comes time for bed, Harry lines the crate with plenty of blankets and sets the puppy inside. He closes the door and locks it, and the puppy immediately begins to whimper.
Harry chews on his bottom lip. “You’re sure he’s going to be alright in there?”
The puppy whines, and Harry looks distraught. Remus squeezes his shoulder.
“He’ll be fine. He’s got toys and water and soft blankets. He’ll probably make a mess, but that’s alright. That’s what magic is for. He’ll settle down as soon as we all leave him be.”
***
The puppy cries for an hour after they all retire upstairs.
Sirius stares at the ceiling. He’s not going to give in and check on the puppy. He’s not.
“Don’t even think it, Sirius,” Remus murmurs from his side of the bed.
“I’m not,” Sirius says. “It’s just--do you think he’s cold?”
“We gave him blankets and cast a heating charm.”
“Maybe he’s hurt.”
“You checked him over before bed. He’s perfectly fine.” Remus rolls over and rests his head on Sirius’s chest. “He’ll settle down eventually.”
Remus is right--the puppy does eventually quiet down. Remus’s breathing evens out soon after that, and Sirius quickly follows him into sleep.
Sirius wakes up before dawn, his new normal, and pads downstairs to make some tea. Harry will sleep for at least another couple of hours, and they won’t see Remus until almost noon.
But when he comes into the kitchen, the first thing he notices is his godson curled up on the floor. The crate is open, and the puppy is nestled in Harry’s arms, also fast asleep.
“Sirius?” Remus comes up behind him, knuckling his eyes.
“What are you doing up?” Sirius whispers.
“Needed a piss, and the bed’s cold without you. What--” Remus finally catches sight of Harry and the puppy, and immediately softens. “Oh.”
“That’s why the puppy stopped whining last night, I bet.”
“Probably,” Remus says. He wraps his arms around Sirius’s waist and props his chin on Sirius’s shoulder, though he has to stretch to reach it. “You can’t make him go to a shelter.”
“No,” Sirius sighs. “I won’t. Looks like we’ve got a pet, Moons.”
“Looks like it. Where are you going?”
“I’ve got to write to the Board of Governors,” Sirius says. “I have six weeks to persuade them to add dogs to the list of approved pets for Hogwarts students.”

Hey hi hello would you happen to have some toshi crumbs you'd be willing to share with the class? I'm hyperfixated on MHA again and I love him so so much.
Hehehe welcome back to Toshi Hell 😈
Hmm, some more head canons? I’m assuming that’s what you meant? If not let me know later but here’s one at least! (If you have a specific topic, I can do that too)
Toshinori is a bit of a Disney princess. By that I mean that animals are naturally drawn to him. They can sense his kind spirit and trust him easily, which comes in handy when you’re rescuing cats out of trees. Even wild animals can pick up on it.
Tumblr media
Say he’s in a park feeding birds. Then one lands on his shoulder. He smiles at it but doesn’t move to shake it off. Then suddenly there’s another. And another. Until every inch of standing space is taken and he’s completely covered with birds all singing and whistling in his ears. They only leave when he stands from the bench to leave. But a few follow him and perch on his shoulders again as he walks.
Tumblr media
This hasn’t changed with his declining health. One of the few things that remained the same. Even though his outward appearance is half-hazard at best, nature doesn’t treat him any different. They still see his heart. His soul.
No life is better than another. Whether you’re a mighty cedar standing tall in the forest or a tiny caterpillar just emerging from its egg. Every life has meaning and value. Toshinori deeply believes that. Unless you’re a mosquito. He’d be the one in the alleyway feeding a mother cat his leftovers so she in turn can feed her kittens. He never eats much, and the portions at restaurants are way too big for him. He could take them home and eat them later, but if he finds a hungry stray along the way, then his leftovers are put to better use.
Tumblr media
Knowing him, he probably funds several animal shelters and humane societies when possible. Maybe he pays for an expensive surgery for a family dog. Or maybe he goes out and purchases food by the truckload for the animals. Buys more land to expand the shelters, wildlife/nature reserves, Etc.
Toshinori would love a pet, but he worries he wouldn’t have time for it. Or be able to say no to any animal on his doorstep. Especially with his health and problems that arise. They should be with a loving family that can give them the attention they need. That doesn’t stop people’s pets from seeking him out while walking on the street or visiting someone’s home.
Tumblr media
In his old age, he loves to visit nature reserves and garden centers. Sitting on a bench on a pathway through the woods, he’s visited by the creatures of the forest who never seem to see him as a threat. He can heal almost any plant, and then gives them to a good home. (He can’t keep all of them).
Wherever Toshi goes, there’s always a trail of animals following close behind him.

Oh Rollo, you may think Raven is naive in her thinking, but I believe it takes a strong heart to be willing to see all sides of a person as a writer looks at the different facets of a character. Perhaps you should go out and have lunch with her, have a chat about your opinion on heroes and villains in stories. Should be enlightening to you.
[Referencing this post!]
Will Today be the Day?
Tumblr media
"I refuse to dine in the cafeteria."
Rollo had made it clear where he stood on the matter as soon as lunch hour came around. He cited a great many things to support his decision: the noise, the number of bodies crammed into one room, his stomach's delicate constitution.
Raven raised an eyebrow at his claims, but tactfully avoided questioning them. This was as polite as Rollo was going to get about wanting a moment of peace and quiet away from the mages he so despised—she had to cherish it.
"You can't tour the campus on foot and skip a meal in the middle of it. It's not healthy," she had told him. "If you won't eat in the cafeteria, then stay here. I'll fetch you something that's hopefully palatable."
He'd been waiting on a bench for a little over 20 minutes now, eating up almost half of the allotted time for lunch.
What is taking her so long? Rollo expelled a sigh into his handkerchief. Perhaps he had overestimated one simple-minded bird's abilities to gather food. If I wanted it done properly, I would have done it myself.
As the remnants of that thought fizzled out, it was replaced by the awareness of approaching foot steps. Quick-footed but light, as if their soles were barely touching the ground. Almost flighty in quality.
Rollo looked up—and there she was, Raven jogging at him with a paper bag overflowing with breads. A light sheen of sweat crowned her brow, and her cheeks were colored apple blossom pink from exertion.
She halted before him, bent over with one hand on her knee to collect her breath.
“Rollo-senpai!! Thank you for waiting,” Raven gasped out. “It was a war zone in the cafeteria today, everyone clamoring for the best food items…! But fortunately for me, the ghost chefs gifted me with whatever they couldn’t sell and yesterday’s leftovers. They’re a little stale, but still perfectly good!”
She thrust out the paper bag. Loaves and rolls of varying shapes, sizes, and textures peered out from it.
Rollo slowly nodded in approval. “I see. How prudent of you to save bread that would have otherwise gone to waste.”
He reached for a croissant—and at the same time, Raven plucked a sesame seed studded bun and tore it in half, then into even smaller bits. Rollo stared. She scattered the crumbs at her feet, paying him no mind.
“… What are you doing?”
The girl smiled softly. "It's everyone's lunch time.”
Then, turning away, Raven cupped a hand to her mouth and released a trilling song. It was a wordless tune, just a few cheery, rising notes.
The eager flapping of many pairs of wings filled the air. Moments later, a plethora of birds descended from the skies. They spread out—at Raven’s feet, on her arms, in her hair.
Rollo almost choked on day-old croissant.
“Wh-What in the world…?!”
Some birds started pecking at the crumbs. Others—mainly the ones nesting on Raven—twittered in greeting. She giggled and twittered back, her tongue twisting into forms Rollo couldn’t comprehend.
"You're proficient in animal languages,” he said faintly.
“Just the avian ones,” Raven clarified. “… Oh, and they say hello. Mr. Pigeon mentioned you seem irritable.”
Rollo frowned—not taking well to the comments. Instead of returning the greeting, he asked, “Why are you supplying the local vermin with food? You feed pests and they’ll return for more, be it rats, raccoons, stray dogs or cats, or… birds.”
There was a collective gasp from the flock, even the ones with their beaks crammed with crumbs.
“Shhh, don’t listen to him. He’s just a little crabby today,” Raven cooed to them. “He’s not usually like this.”
They stared back doubtfully.
“… Okay, he’s usually worse.”
“You shouldn’t enable them,” Rollo continued sternly. “Whatever it is you’re telling them, it must be something foolishly naive.”
“Nest in his hat,” a blue jay declared, “or in his ugly hair. That’ll teach him.”
“No, no, poop on his shoes. Humans hate that,” a dove suggested.
“Want us to peck his eyes out?” a robin offered.
“I’ll eat his liver,” a canary said sweetly, “like the eagle did in the tale of the Fire Thief.”
Raven shook her head at the needlessly aggressive birds. She knelt, letting the birds on her flutter or climb down to join the others, then took a seat herself beside Rollo. A moment of silence elapsed before she spoke again.
“If I recall correctly, the people in the City of Flowers look after community goats. The stories say that goats will come to help you in your time of need—and that’s where the tradition comes from.”
Rollo snorted. “You think songbirds will come to your aid?”
“I’m not being nice to them expecting something in return. I think… with the passage of time, something that started off with a reason behind it just becomes natural and routine. Something genuine.”
“That still doesn’t answer my question.”
“Not everything has an answer,” she replied mysteriously. “… In any case, this is our lunch period so we should unwind rather than spending it worrying over the details.”
“Your feathered friends look like they want to commit murder,” he commented stiffly.
“Maybe they wouldn’t look like that if you hadn’t insulted them to their faces?”
“The offer’s still on the table,” the peck-happy robin piped up.
“Hmph. I don’t understand why you indulge these pitiful creatures as you do. There is nothing to be gained from associating with them.”
“Maybe you see it that way, but I don’t.” Raven folded her arms and tilted her head to one side. “I like to think of it like this: every living being is the protagonist of its own story—but because of that, it also makes them a supporting character in other peoples’ stories. No one is a hero or a villain by default, they only become that through the lenses of other’s stories and interpretations. That’s why I try to give the benefit of the doubt and second chances.”
She waved a hand at the feasting cluster of birds. “Animals too, are protagonists and supporting characters. They lead their own lives, tell their own stories, and uphold our own as well. They deserve to be treated with the same dignity as you or I.”
Rollo grimaced. He could no longer get his croissant down—not comfortably, at least.
“… You may see yourself as a savior, but others may think differently.” Raven placed a hand on her chest. “But redemption is not yet out of reach. Even villains can have happily ever afters, and not necessarily at the cost of ‘turning good’. Fairy tales have evolved beyond the black and white binary.”
Rollo eyed her warily. The birds all seemed to be holding their breath in anticipation for his response.
“… You speak like the heroes with bleeding hearts from those very same stories,” he said at last. “You think yourself superior?”
“Not at all. I’m simply an outside observer. I can have faith and make wishes upon stars because I can see the potential overflowing from each and every character.
“What a childish way of viewing the world. It’s a fool’s dream.”
“But a dream nevertheless—and if it can be dreamed, then it’s a very real possibility.”
“Hmph. Has anyone ever told you that you have the imagination of a child?”
“I’ll take that as a compliment, Rollo-senpai."
“Of course you would.”
"You have a strong imagination yourself." Granted, it typically involves mages being extinguished in a blazing hellfire but that’s neither here nor there.
Raven shrugged and stuck her hand into the bread bag and rummaged around in it. She retrieved a slice of milk bread and chomped down.
“… Are you really going to spend your entire lunch griping? Let’s enjoy this moment. It’s not everyday when we have such good weather and unique company.”
Rollo said nothing more—the strained conversation was over. Pointless and unfruitful, as he had suspected it to be from the very beginning.
Sitting side by side, they munched on bread and avoided eye contact for the remainder of the period. Bird watching and drinking in the day together.

Someone sidled up to Gwyn as she pulled out the book she thought would be interesting from its resting place on the shelf.
One glance told Gwyn that it was a young man, not much older than her, a smile on his brutally beautiful face. Gwyn offered a small smile back to him, turning back to the book in her hands.
"Read often?"
Gwyn blinked, realising the question was directed at her. She nodded as she looked at the man, who hummed.
"Can I help you?"
"I would hope so." When Gwyn waited for him to go on, he continued. "What is your favourite one?"
"You will read whatever i rcommend?"
He smiled wider. "I had to gift a book to my sister in law, but sure, I would read it if you told me to."
Gwyn's brows furrowed. Was he flirting with her?
He didn't give her much time to ponder that thought.
"I'm Draven." His hazel eyes stared at her expectantly, waiting for her to offer her name.
"Gwyneth."
He nodded, his eyes sparkling as he pushed back the onyx strands that fell into them, his hands covered in gruesome scars. "So… the book?"
"What kind of books does she read?"
Draven contemplated for a moment, a crease between his brows before he spoke haltingly. "Fantasy? I remember my brother complaining to me about how his wife ignored him half the time and swooned over someone who did not exist. I have also found her blushing and giggling while reading." He paused, realization dawning on his face, and Gwyn grinned.
At the sight of her grin, his lips parted, his eyes growing wide for a moment before he cleared his throat.
"Do books have… are there books that contain… explicit scenes?"
Gwyn burst out laughing. A blush spread over his cheeks, making her laugh harder.
"I like your sister in law. Yes, there are explicit scenes in books." She rolled her eyes. "Come, I'll show you them."
He sputtered, his eyes wide as he stared at her, and she clarified. "I'll show you the aisle that has those kinds of books."
His blush deepened, nodding.
He followed behind her as she waltzed through the bookstore, leading him to where he would find what he wanted.
Gwyn knew she was having a little too much fun watching him squirm under her gaze, but she didn't care.
It was adorable to watch that blush spreading down his neck as he flipped open to a page and read the filth written there.
So adorable that Gwyn would die to watch him blush again.
•○●⛦●○•
This became a routine over the next few months, he would come to the bookstore nearly everyday, and so would she, and she would tell him to read a book she liked, and then they would discuss about it for hours, often times being shooed away by the store owner.
Eventually the two of them began meeting outside of the bookstore, and their friendship began.
And he never once let it slip that he was a prince.
Gwyn shook her head, trying to focus on correctly stacking the pots in her uncle's shop.
"Gwyneth! Be a darling and go feed the cats in the back!" Her uncle's voice said from the front of the shop, making her sigh.
"Sure!" Gwyn called out to her uncle, grabbing the box of leftover food her aunt gave her to feed the cats.
Gwyn ducked out of the dimly lit back into the alleyway coloured by the fading sunlight. The stray cats meowed louder at the sight of her, and she smiled, crouching next to them as she poured the leftover food onto a newspaper, watching as the three little cats crowded around the food and began eating.
Gwyneth loved them. She loved animals in general, but she could not bring them home because her aunt hated them. And so this was the only way Gwyn was able to spend time around animals.
He loves animals too.
Gwyn slapped that thought with a slipper and kicked it out of her mind.
She had barely been five when her uncle had showed her the three cats who had then been little kittens then, and when she had asked him for help in naming the kittens, he had simply named them kitten, kitt and kit. Gwyn had been disappointed then, but her little brain could not come up with any better ideas for their names, so she had to make do with those names.
The alleyway was quiet, nothing different from any other day. There were only a few garbage cans in the alleyway, and nothing else.
It was peaceful, really.
As Gwyn was focused on the cats and making sure they ate properly, trying to ignore the events a few hours prior, she didn't feel the other presence until gravel crunched behind her, and she whipped her head around, barely stopping herself from falling on her ass.
There, near the mouth of the alley, a few feet away from her, stood a person, and she was pretty sure it was a male, though she could not be sure as they had the hood of their cloak pulled low over their face. Though Gwyn was sure she knew who it was.
"Hello, Gwyneth." She definitely knew who it was now.
Gwyn drew her hand back from where it had been caressing kit's head and stood, her heart race picking up. The voice that spoke was definitely masculine, one she knew better than anyone else's, and Gwyn could practically hear the smile in his voice as he opened his mouth.
Gwyn waited for him to go on, but of course she was met with silence. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes. "How can I help you?"
"You know how you can help me."
She turned away, trying to squash the anger simmering in her belly.
She felt a soft breeze hit the back of her hand before familiar scarred fingers wrapped around her wrist. She tried to tug it out of his grip, a scowl crawling onto her face.
She glared at the hand, then at the owner of it.
"Gwyn, let me explain-"
"There is nothing to explain-"
"Please Gwyn, please." He pleaded, his grip tightening on her wrist.
Gwyn let out a deep sigh.
He took that as his queue to continue. "I am sorry Gwyn, I did not realise that my actions could have hurt you. I am so sorry. Please forgive me."
"How about no?" She shot back, glancing at her cats to see if they were done eating.
He looked taken aback, staring at her slack jawed. "I- you- why not?"
Gwyn blinked at him again. "Why would I want to waste my time with you? Why would I forgive someone who had no problems lying to me?"
He looked offended for a moment, then his expression cleared. "Gwyn, you do remember that you and I have known each other for two years now."
Gwyn lifted a brow. "I do."
He gave her a charming smile. "Does that not outweigh the title I have?"
Gwyn resisted the urge to punch his beautiful face. "The fact that you hid the truth from me about being one of those uncaring, ungrateful scoundrels who cares nothing of his people will always outweigh the trust I had in you."
He frowned, his lower lip jutting out in a small pout.
Gwyn rolled her eyes, turning back to her cats and realising they were done eating and now scattered all over the alleyway, lazing about. Gwyn bent to pick up the leftovers, shoving it all into the garbage can nearby. All while she did that, the prince followed her around.
Gwyn glared at him, heaving an exasperated sigh. "What do you want?"
"Why can't you forgive me for something I have no control over?"
"I am not mad at you for being a part of the royal family, I am mad because you lied to me when you knew how much I hate them."
He stared at her, for long enough that she had to stop herself from squirming.
"So the fact that I am still your friend, still the guy who asked you for book recommendations, means nothing to you?"
Gwyn turned away, knowing she was being irrational.
She shoved aside that rational piece of her mind.
Gwyn rolled her eyes, walking back to the door she had come out from.
There was only silence in the alleyway for a moment, but as soon as she reached out her hand to grasp the door handle, he spoke.
"If you think that you ignoring me and throwing away what we had over a something that does not matter will rid you of me, you are wrong."
She turned her head, though she did not meet his eyes.
"I have been summoned, though I will not let you ruin what we had because you are upset with me like a little girl."
And with that, he walked off.

The Morning After

[Astarion x Named Tav]
“Well, well, well,” Astarion's cool voice woke her up. “Look who finally decided to grace us with their presence this morning, or should I say afternoon?”
Dazed, Phayelynn slowly opened her eyes and looked around the tent, dim light bleeding through from the closed flaps that kept them hidden from the rest of camp. Astarion was seated across from her, his gaze fixed on a leather-bound tome with gilt-edged pages resting in his lap.
Her face flushed.
“You let me sleep in your tent .” She said, wanting to melt away in embarrassment.
Astarion marked his page with a stray piece of parchment, then slowly closed his book and trailed his eyes up to look at her. He teased her with a flashy grin. “And my generosity knows no bounds, it seems.” He gestured towards a plate set near her, and Phayelynn’s eyes widened in surprise.
And he got her breakfast?
--
Or, the morning, after Phayelynn lets Asterion feed from her, gets pretty awkward.

Masterlist for Phayelynn's adventures here
The Morning After
Phayelynn was in the midst of a deep sleep that enveloped her in a cocoon of comfort. It was the kind of slumber that was rare, especially since her abduction. She couldn’t recall the last time she had felt so relaxed and at peace. She was slowly beginning to stir but was reluctant to awaken just yet. She squeezed her eyes shut and burrowed deeper into the furs, reveling in the warmth and softness they provided. As she snuggled in, she pulled the furs up to her chin and sighed contentedly. Her cheeks brushed against the plush pillows. They were like clouds beneath her skin, she thought, sighing dreamily.
As she dozed off, Astarion’s cool voice broke her reverie, “Well, well, well,” he said in a mocking tone, “Look who finally decided to grace us with their presence this morning, or should I say afternoon?”
Dazed, she slowly opened her eyes and looked around the tent, dim light bleeding through from the closed flaps that kept them hidden from the rest of camp. Astarion was seated across from her, his gaze fixed on a leather-bound tome with gilt-edged pages resting in his lap. He didn’t appear fully engrossed in his reading yet barely acknowledged her presence.
As she tried to shake off her grogginess, Phayelynn realized she was still in Astarion’s tent, making her uneasy. She hadn’t intended to stay the night. Her face flushed; their closeness from the night prior, the sounds she had made, and how she had enjoyed him feeding from her rushed her in hot flashes. She wanted to melt away in embarrassment. Suddenly, she sat up, throwing off the blankets, finally causing Astarion to look up from his book. He smirked at her sudden movement, and she could feel his eyes scanning her face, noticing the rapid beating of her heart.
“You let me sleep in your tent .” She said, stating it without questioning it, her voice bewildered as she recounted the previous night’s events. Her cheeks reddened even more somehow.
Astarion marked his page with a stray piece of parchment, then slowly closed his book and trailed his eyes up to look at her. He appeared to be amused by her disarray and teased her with a flashy grin. He leaned back, resting his weight on the palms of his hands, and said in a playful tone, “And my generosity knows no bounds, it seems.” He gestured towards a plate set near her, and Phayelynn’s eyes widened in surprise.
On the plate were two links of sausage and some leftover bread. Next to it rested a mug filled with some kind of juice. Phayelynn’s shock didn’t subside as she looked at the plate, but her face beamed as she felt her stomach growl in thanks. She quickly picked up the plate with her left hand while her right grabbed the mug, but the motion slightly jostled her and made her pause, feeling somewhat dizzy. Perhaps Astarion had taken too much of her blood.
As soon as the dizzy spell passed, Phayelynn placed the plate in her lap. She picked up one of the links, and with a hearty bite, a croon of delight escaped her lips, and she closed her eyes to savor the taste. After a moment, she opened her eyes and looked at Astarion.
“You got me breakfast?” she asked, taking another bite, more gently this time. She chewed and swallowed a few pieces before filling her mouth again, “Thank you,” she said, though it came out slightly jumbled.
Astarion looked disgusted, scrunching up his nose as he pointed at the pieces of meat falling out of her mouth, “You can thank me by chewing with your mouth closed,” he said. “Honestly, you’re not a child.”
“Sorry,” Phayelynn muttered after a sheepish gulp. She smiled when her mouth was void of food, “Thank you. This was very kind of you.”
“It was nothing.” Astarion shrugged her off with a roll of his eyes. “You fed me, so it’s only fair that I return the favor.”
“Well, still, thank you.” Phayelynn smiled regardless. “And thank you for letting me sleep here. It was the best night of sleep I’ve had in who knows how long.” She brought the mug to her lips.
“I didn’t want to get caught lugging your corpse out there.” His brow pinched. Even without the bloodloss, the bloody girl was a deep sleeper. “The others would’ve thought you were dead.” He motioned to her neck and the two prominent fang marks he had left there. “Although,” he continued with a mischievous grin on his face. He tilted his head to the side and flashed her his sharp fangs. “Your snoring would’ve given you away, I suppose,” His ruby eyes sparkled with amusement as he teased her, placing a finger to his chin pensively.
Phayelynn didn’t hide her offense as Astarion suggested she snored. “I don’t snore!” she exclaimed, taking a sip. Instantly, her eyes screwed shut, and she gagged. She coughed harshly and spat the liquid back into the mug. Her eyes widened before narrowing at Astarion. “Wine? Really? First thing in the morning!” she grimaced, unprepared for how strong it was. She had expected something like cranberry juice or some other fruit. She was not expecting something as sharp, sour, and tart as this. “And why does it taste like—- like..”
Astarion found the word for her, “Vinegar?”
“That!” Phayelynn said, putting the mug aside and smacking her tongue to the roof of her mouth, trying to get rid of the taste. She grabbed the bread on her plate and ripped it apart, taking the smaller half and shoving it into her mouth, hoping it would help.
Astarion noticed that he was smiling genuinely this time and shook his head free of the emotion. He saw the girl eagerly devouring another large bite of bread, bouncing slightly in her place, seemingly satisfied. He gave her a questioning look and asked, “How do you feel?”
He had been truthful when he said that it was only fair to return the favor, but his motive for feeding her was out of necessity, not kindness. After she offered her neck to him, she was in a stupor, and he was worried that she would regret it come morning and rally the rest of the group with stakes and pitchforks. That was also why he allowed her to stay in his tent, to keep her away from them longer, avoid all of that, and to give himself time to strengthen his position with her.
Phayelynn finished eating what she had in her mouth, making sure to chew before speaking this time. After a difficult swallow, she took a moment to assess how she felt and said, “I’m still a little tired, but I think that’s just because of how cozy it is in here. And my head still feels a little dizzy, but the food is helping.”
Astarion gave a relief nod, selfishly glad she hadn’t suffered any lasting harm. However, the bite mark on her neck still needed attention. He scolded himself for not biting her lower, where it could easily be concealed. He scrutinized her, pondering his options. Maybe she could wear her hair down to hide the marks until they healed and faded away.
As he examined her, he noticed she was looking back at him, self-conscious of his gaze. He startled, and if it were possible, his cheeks would have flamed red.
“Are you alright?” she inquired, placing the sausage link she held back on her plate. “You seemed to have zoned out there for a moment.”
Her expression of concern made him feel uneasy. He looked away momentarily before gesturing to her plate, indicating that she should continue eating. He only spoke when she started eating again. “I was just thinking of ways to conceal the mark on your neck. While I appreciate your understanding of my being a vampire, I don’t want to expose myself to the world just yet.”
Phayelynn touched her neck, feeling the marks left by Astarion. She winced as her palm grazed the tender skin. “Are they that noticeable?” she asked.
“I can’t envision any clever words you could possibly use to explain them away, particularly to our dear wizard, whom you have been so insistent on teaming up with to solve the mystery of the dead boar.” he scoffed.
Astarion moved closer to Phayelynn and reached out to touch her ashen-colored hair. The loose ponytail she wore was messy from sleep and from his fingers that he’d tangled through as he had drank. He moved to take the leather strap binding that held the ponytail together.
“You should wear your hair down and brush it, for god’s sake; that will do well enough until they can heal,” he suggested, “I’ll through the cleric’s belongings. She’s bound to have something you can use to keep them from scarring over-.”
Phayelynn flinched away from him.
Astarion’s hand froze before he could pull on the leather, noticing a change in her posture. She sat tense before him, and he raised an eyebrow. She grabbed for her hair that cascaded behind her in thick stands, pulling a handful over her shoulder to comb her fingers through.
“I don’t wear my hair down,” she said, not meeting his eye. She knew it sounded silly but didn’t want to explain further.
He pressed further, “You can’t go flaunting them about.”
“I’m not,” she said firmly. “I’ll cover them up in a different way. I’m sure there’s a spare scarf around here.”
“Fine.” Astarion sighed and dropped his hand to his lap.
Phayelynn’s smile returned, but only for a moment. As she combed through a knot, her hand flung to her neck, pressing down firmly. Her eyes bulged, and her mouth dropped in horror. “Am I going to turn into a vampire?”
He noticed her poking her canines with her tongue. She stopped, realizing what she was doing, and her eyes grew wider, showing both horror and guilt.
She motioned to Astarion, “Not that being a vampire is a bad thing! I-er,- I just—”
Astarion’s high-pitched laugh cut her rambling off short, and she gave him an exasperated look.
“I don’t see how this is funny,” she asserted.
“I think it’s hilarious, darling,” he argued, letting out one more laugh and waving his hand at her casually. His voice then held a rough edge to it once he settled, “I’m not a true vampire. Just a spawn.” his eyes held something darker. “You won’t be growing fangs anytime soon, love.”
“Oh.” she furrowed her brow. She wasn’t familiar with what being a true vampire versus just a spawn meant. She did, however, get an idea of what it could imply by the bitterness in his tone, but she didn’t want to pry and touch upon those implications. Not after he just showed her kindness. Instead, she tried to ask something lighter, still wanting to know more but nothing that would possibly dig into his past and push him away, “Is that why you can be in the sun? I thought vampires couldn’t do that?”
“Oh no, I should be cinders by now,” Astarion said, clenching his hand in his lap. “I haven’t seen the sun in two hundred years.” He bit the inside of his cheek, “Standing in the sun, wading through a river, wandering into homes with an invitation. All perfectly mundane things for me now.”
Phayleynn let a flash of pity flicker across her eyes, and Astarion didn’t like it. His shoulders tensed.
“I wonder if it’s because of the tadpole.” She pondered aloud.
“That’s my theory.” Astarion agreed.
“That must’ve been scary.” Phayelynn sat back with a frown. Astarion narrowed his eyes, unsure as to what she was referring to. She sat up straight, “Getting taken, the crash, and then waking up in the sun after not seeing it for that long.” she reached out and grabbed his hand, wanting to show her understanding and sympathy, “I can’t imagine.”
“I don’t need your pity.” he snapped, baring his fangs at her a little too harshly. He searched her eyes for any sign of fear, soon realizing what he’d done, but found none. It made his stomach twist. He had expected her to rip her hand away from his but was surprised when she kept it there.
The tent’s flaps were suddenly ripped open, startling them both as Shadowheart rushed in, her face heavy with worry.
“Astarion, have you seen Phayelynn? We can’t find-” she said as she entered, cutting herself off when she noticed the pair sitting suspiciously close together, alone in Astarion’s tent. Her eyes dropped to Phayelynn’s hand resting atop his in his lap. Shadowheart raised an eyebrow and smirked, “What do we have here? Am I interrupting something?” asked teasingly.
Astarion was trying to hide Phayelynn’s neck from Shadowheart’s view, and he shot her an angry look while twisting his body to block the bard. “There’s this wondrous thing called knocking. Have you ever heard of it?” he snapped at Shadowheart, his irritation palpable.
Shadowheart, unimpressed, pretended to place her hand over her heart in apology and said in a sarcastic tone, “Oh, I’m terribly sorry.” she then knocked her knuckles against the fabric wall of the tent, although it made no sound. She tilted her head at Astarion, still smirking, “There, happy?”
Astarion growled. He should’ve drained the cleric dry instead.
Phayelynn realized what was going on and tried to defuse the situation. She looked around Astarion and apologized, “I’m sorry I worried you. I-I- it was cold last night. Astarion let me sleep in here.”
Astarion appreciated the lie to explain her being in here but didn’t appreciate her making him seem so good-hearted and thoughtful. He pulled a face but didn’t say otherwise. Instead, he looked to Shadowheart, trying to read if she bought it.
Shadowheart studied Phayelynn with stern eyes. She didn’t appear to believe her fully but didn’t say otherwise.
“You should be sorry.” Shadowheart nodded, placing a hand on her hip and grabbing the tent’s flap with the other. The sunlight rushed in, making Phayelynn wince, her eyes not adjusted to the brightness. Shadowheart gave them both a once-over, “Now if you two can control yourselves, get dressed and packed, or else we’re leaving you behind. It’s already midday, and you’ve both fooled around long enough. We need to get to Ethel’s before it’s too late.”
Shadowheart looked sternly at Astarion as if she knew he had done something wrong before leaving them alone. It was only then that Phayelynn realized how it must have looked. The realization hit her like a ton of bricks, and she felt a sudden wave of embarrassment wash over her. Her cheeks reddened as she scrambled to get up, quickly brushing out her wrinkled sleep clothes.
“I should go,” she muttered, avoiding looking at Astarion for too long. “Thank you again for breakfast and for letting me sleep here. I’m glad I could have helped last night.” Her voice was barely audible and stuttering. She rubbed at her neck, “I’ll find a way to hide these. Don’t worry, your secret is safe with me.” she assured him before hastily leaving the tent.
Once outside, she noticed Shadowheart and Gale conversing by the fire. Shadowheart was undoubtedly already gossiping about what she assumed Phayelynn and Astarion had been up to all night as Gale shot Phayelynn a troubled look. She didn’t stick around long, not wanting to be the center of their judging stares. Walking over to her bedroll, she picked up her backpack and headed towards the river to change for the day. As she undressed, she couldn’t shake off the feeling of shame and humiliation that weighed heavy on her shoulders.

A/N: This is a really interesting request haha but it’s cute! I decided to write it in this format though because I feel like it falls into the headcanons/scenarios category. This is my first time writing a fic about a cat, so please bare with me!

– He found you after rehearsals on top of his doorstep. You were sat there patiently waiting for him inside a worn out cardboard box.
– He was very confused. Surprised, even. He kind of screamed when he saw you in there – a dirty black cat with big eyes.
– He calls Ritsu right away and asks him if this was his package.
"Nope, I didn't order anything," Ritsu replies. "Wait, you mean there's a living cat in there? Haha, that's cute. What are you going to name it?"
"I haven't even thought about adopting it yet!" Mika cries, kind of overwhelmed with this ordeal. "I'll probably send it to the vet..."
"Aww, that's a shame..."
– He looks back at you. You were just a little kitten. Cute, actually. He couldn't help but kneel down and stroke your head. You liked that very much, purring at his touch. He chuckles at this.
"Heh, you're actually pretty cute!" he says. "Where did you come from? Who brought you here?"
You purr in response.
"Hmm, what should I do with you?"
– He ends up bringing you inside the dorm he shares with Ritsu. First, he should bathe you! You were pretty stinky after all.
– He watches a YouTube tutorial on how to clean you since he doesn't know how. He puts you in the bath and gets the water running, and is pleasantly surprised that you don't react harshly when he starts washing you up.
"Hehe, you're a good cat!" he giggles.
– When he's washing in between your eyes, he notices that you also have heterochromia just like him!
"Woah, you're just like me..." he says, astonished. "Haha, we're so similiar! You have black fur and different coloured eyes!”
— Second, he decides to feed you! He looks in the fridge to see if there’s leftover tuna for you. He places it on a plate and watches you eat it happily. He smiles at this, stroking your head to your tail.
— He ends up taking a few photos of you too. He sends them over to Arashi who squeals in delight, calling him the second the pic was sent.
“Mika-chan! You adopted a cat?!” she exclaims. “What did you name it?”
“I-I didn’t name it anything!” says Mika. “I was planning on bringing it to the vet. It’s a stray I found on my doorstep…”
“Oh, is that so? I think you should keep it! Just so I can visit the cutie too~”
— After spending time with you, washing you up and feeding you, Mika has grown attached. Maybe he should keep you after all…
“Hmm… what should I name you?” he wonders as you look at him curiously. “What about… (Y/N)?”
— You nodded which surprised him a bit, but it was cute nonetheless. When Ritsu arrived home, Mika picks you up to show him the cat that was sent to him. Ritsu was surprised at how much you looked like Mika.
— Ritsu brought Arashi over too. She was SO excited! She immediately started playing with you and you enjoyed her presence!
— Mika tells them that he might be keeping you. Arashi is over the moon, and Ritsu doesn’t have a problem with it either.
— From this day forwards, Mika has done everything with you. He brings you everywhere that is permitted. Takes a lot of photos of you too. Has even introduced you to Shu who has taken a liking to you.
— Sometimes Ritsu would play with you with a cotton ball. Shu would sew you clothes which Mika deeply appreciates!
— Arashi would babysit you whenever Mika was busy with idol training/work. Her roommates, HiMERU and Tetora, were always happy to see you too. If they weren’t available, Jun was able to take care of you. Thankfully, you got along with Jun and Hiyori’s dog Mary quite well.
— Mika would buy cat toys that he hopes you’ll like! He loves watching you play, he finds this time fun. He takes a lot of videos too.
— You would lay on the table beside his laptop as he works on his homework. When he’s learning choreography or lyrics to his new song, you’ll watch and listen. You’ll even fall asleep to his voice.
— He likes waking up everyday to say good morning to you, and kisses you every night. He’s very thankful that you came into his life.

How does the situation with the Rooftop Strays work? Like, do they hang out in your house sometimes, did you semi-adopt these cats? Just curiousity, your comics and pics are a delight
Yeah so the buildings of my block are squeezed together, and inside is a bit of leftover space that belongs to some of the huises, I'm talking in total smaller than the average garden outside the city. And there's a few second story balconies looking over it, like mine. And one of the patches of garden is neglected and overgrown. There is a bit of rooftop, like gray, flat, between the neglected garden + my neighbors garden and the two balconies above it.
When I started going on my balcony this thin, grey (grey as in dirty and dusty not naturally gray) would just sit on the rooftop 20 meters away and hiss at me. Everytime. It was a bit comical bc I never had a cat hiss at me so far of in the distance, but we soon figured out what was going on when someone, me or someone else moving my stuff I don't remember, spotted a kitten in the bushes below. She was basically going "Don't you dare think about it!!" While I didn't know what there was to think about.
This was Michelle, and the kitten is Kotelet. Michelle was clearly left behind by someone bc you can access (or leave) this middle part, and she had turned this space into her territory and I was. not welcome. However, she did welcome herself into my house when I was airing out the appartment and ate some kibble, desperate and hungry and feeding a kitten. And I let her do it and gave her some extra opportunities to do it. Eventually she met Oskar and Marcel, my actual kats, and she slapped at them but they're social and kinda stupid so they thought she was trying to play because nothing bad has happened to them ever. She also figured this out and just started treating them a bit like overgrown kittens, probably bc they're spayed and again kinda stupid and meow at other cats. So they become like a clique. The kitten still lives in the garden. I'm still not cool and not part of the gang no matter how much she sees the boys interacting with me.
A few weeks later, kitten becomes big enough, starts to climb on shit, immediately gets on the wall and falls off into the other garden. Now, my below neighbor has not moved in yet. So there is nothing to climb back out on and Michelle can't get to her. So I call my landlord asking if they're showing the apartment today and if not if it's ok I break in for a moment. They can't come so I got a ladder from neighbors by literally just asking at houses bc I didn't know anyone until this Maroccan family just gave theirs with mild amusement bc "I need to get a kitten out of a hole" is quite a sidequest. But I got there, got out the kitten (with much protest and yelling from the baby, who decided she was being eaten) while Michelle looked on, and when I got back on the roof I handed her her kitten back.
Since then, she actually started directly interacting with me so I guess I passed the commune check by getting her kid back to the nest, so to say? I don't know how much they rationalise that kind of stuff but there was a noticable change before and after. I brought food, took care of the kids (once) so I was allowed to not be hissed at any more.
After that it's all just slow socialising process, which I did for a bit at a shelter so it's a bit of a fun side project bc the shelter here is kinda shitty and weren't interested in taking them. So I'm slowely getting them used to everything, the newest thing is sitting inside with the door closed, they used to freak out when I tried doing that.
Michelle basically only needs to learn the litterbox so maybe Danny might take her when he gets a better set-up, we have a few loose options. Kotelet is more sifficult bc she's more feral and she refuses any cat food op untill this point. She literally gags when she smells it... which, same tbh. But she does make progress in other fields so I'll see how far I can get. She didn't start interacting with me until much more recent.
So yeah they're basically part time here, on the balcony or they wait by the door to be let in and hang out for a few hours. My entire childhood we always had about 3-4 cats that were ex strays so I'm kinda used to this happening. Cats will find you.
Anyways Michelle is white now and has a nice coat and kotelet is still fucking tiny bc you can't change that.

Alrighty guys. I know a lot of us had hoped for Rei to get a cat at the end. It's obvious he has a soft spot for them, he deserves the world, give that man his cat, am I right? And there have to be plenty of strays where they live, too. A food establishment by the beach.
So how about this...
---
The first stray sighting happens shortly after they've moved. Kazuki sees Rei looking at the cat, hesitant but obviously wanting to approach it, and says something like
"Nuh uh. Not gonna happen."
They argue. Kazuki isn't thrilled about the idea of adding a pet to the chaos that is their life at the moment, but Rei did prove himself as a caretaker and responsible adult over the past year. Not to mention he's a lot better at fighting for what he wants than he was last time they had this conversation, and Kazuki finds it endearing enough to almost cave.
But pets aren't cheap, their daughter is going to get more expensive as she grows older, and they have a business to run. It's not really a no; it's a not now. They should get settled here first, see how well the diner fares. Maybe they can talk about it again in another year?
Rei begrudgingly agrees, because Kazuki does have a decent point there. He's pouty for the rest of the day.
For a while, Kazuki doesn't really notice anything different. They're way too busy building up their brand new life. But as the dust settles and their new routines start to become familiar, some things start to stand out.
Like Rei happily taking out the trash every night. Like, very happily, as if he'd been looking forward to it. He always takes his sweet time doing it, too. Surely dumping a few trash bags into a container wouldn't take that long. Not that Kazuki would ever complain or comment, because the guy was disabled, for fuck's sake.
Another thing is the strays he keeps spotting. Had there always been this many? Were they reproducing that fast? Kazuki shrugs it off. It makes sense, they're likely not getting spayed or neutered. And of course they'd hang around the diner. It's doing quite well, apparently drawing in more than just customers with its delicious smells. Ahhh the magic of good cooking.
It's not until things from their pantry and fridge go missing, that an internal alarm bell goes off. Leftover chicken or salmon, Hamburg steaks, sausages, cans of tuna. He barely dodges another fight with Miri when he assumes she's eaten them (what? She's a growing girl? He can't blame her for being hungry!) but manages a last minute save. Rei is awfully quiet during this whole conversation, but confesses to his crimes later that night when Miri is asleep in her bed.
"I have to show you something."
And Kazuki wonders if he should be surprised when Rei leads him downstairs, outside through the back, where he squats down and cracks the lip of a can of tuna with one hand. The sound summons what have to be at least a dozen cats from various different directions, all meowing loudly as they twirl around Rei and headbutt his hands and legs.
"I don't need to get a cat anymore," Rei says as if he hasn't officially adopted the whole neighborhood pack.
"I bet," Kazuki sighs, helping him open the can and dump the Tuna on the concrete. "Miri... Is she your accomplice?"
".... Maybe."
So a yes, then. Not that it matters, because Rei might be the closest to beaming he'll ever get, and Kazuki is only slightly weaker to his partner than he is to their daughter. Which is to say, he's totally screwed.
"They stay outside," is all he says, squatting down beside Rei to pet the cat closest to him.
A few days later, Miri's latest masterpiece–a donation jar with cat decorations– graces the countertop of the diner. After all, they'll need to help do something about the population control before they go broke feeding strays.

I so badly want to know what Will named the other dogs. Are they all people names ? Did he go off straight vibes ? I’m always freeze framing that first shot of the dogs and trying to go off Winston to guess what he’d call the rest.
I feel like the first stray was just ‘Dog’ or ‘Girl’ and he didn’t intend on keeping her. She was just a dog that showed up one day and he left some food out for her, sat out in the porch with her a few nights when she returned and returned, and then when she showed up with a friend he realized he should name them.
So he calls her Honey and calls her friend Bandit because he keeps stealing away with whatever small treats Will hand feeds him and it makes him laugh. They’re those kind of classic American dog names, the kind of names he’d been careful not to grow attached to when he was an adolescent, because they couldn’t keep a dog, they moved around too much. But he’d mulled them over when he was walking home and a stray sidled up alongside him with a happy pant, stopping on his stoop to give the dog some sandwich meat, leftover from lunch, or from dipping in to the kitchen to rifle through the fridge for whatever he could find that his dad wouldn’t miss.
‘Max’ he’d think to himself idly, sitting out in the heat just to pet the dog for a little longer, ‘No, Milo.’ He’d gaze at the dog and smile sadly before finally going inside, trying to come up with a good argument for keeping just one dog, just for a while, but never voicing it. Sitting alone on the couch while his father came home late, flickering light from their shoddy TV glowing over where he’d fallen asleep, he’d think for a second of mentioning it.
“Y’allright?” his dad would pat him on the shoulder, or cuff him over the head as he strode toward the kitchen, mussing his curls, and Will would lose all the nerve he’d worked up.
“Yeah. Yeah, m’good.”
He’d go to sleep and wake up thirty-something to the loving little beasts at the foot of his bed, at his heels as he made his morning trek though his chores and think, “Winston… that’s a good one.”

Warriors Cats oc-Foxfur’s Backstory
Foxfur was originally a kittypet named Shadow abandoned by her two legs as a young kit left in a cardboard box in the streets of the twolegs. Shadow grew up a stray loner cat on the streets eating leftover food from the trash that the twolegs threw out.
It was not until Shadow came across some strange cats that she never seen on the twolegs streets. They had awesome skills at crouching down and killing mice but not eating them.
“Hello, that was a great catch, I believe I never seen you from around here,” mewed Shadow.
“Exactly what a kittypet would say, go back to your cozy home with your twolegs kittypet!” The strange cat said his mouthful of mouse.
“Kittypet? Twolegs? You mean people, I’m sorry but I’m a stray, my house folks abandoned me when I was just a small kit,” said Shadow glumly.
“What’s your name?” The she-cat mewed.
“I don’t have a name, except my house folks called me Shadow before they dumped me on the streets to fend for myself,” Shadow grumbled.
“What’s wrong with that? You don’t have your food handed to you from a can, you get more freedom outside being a kittypet,” the she-cat meowed.
“I’m not a kittypet, not anymore, I live on the streets,” meowed Shadow.
“Well, then you must be a loner!” The Tom spat.
“If you don’t have house folks and don’t live on the streets then where do you cats live?” Shadow meowed.
“We’re Apprentices training to become warriors, we are wild cats that live in the forest of Thunderclan territory,” mewed the she-cat proudly.
“Warriors? The forest? You think I can live in the forest to train to become a warrior too?” Shadow mewed.
“Clan cats don’t allow loners in!” The Tom cat spat.
“Take it easy on her! She must be starving living off twoleg filth on the streets,” mewed the she-cat.
“Who cares, a former kittypet who gets dumped by its twolegs will never make it on her own!” The Tom cat growled.
“Have some heart Sunpaw! She could use some help from our clan,” meowed the she-cat.
“I’m not giving up my fresh kill to give to a sad loner on the streets!” Sunpaw growled.
“Our clan is still well fed, we need to help this poor cat, it’s twolegs left her with nothing!” The she-cat hissed.
“Oh, alright!” Sunpaw grumbled.
Sunpaw plopped the dead mouse down at Shadow’s front paws.
“Is this, for me?” Shadow mewed.
“Yes, any cat who has been dumped by its twolegs with nothing deserves respect from our clan,” the she-cat mewed.
Without words Shadow started to take big bites out of the mouse gulping it down feeling satisfied from her hunger.
“Yum, I never tasted anything like this, much better than garbage,” meowed Shadow.
“My name is Furzepaw and you met my friend Sunpaw, I told him to give his fresh kill to you,” said the she-cat.
“Thanks Furzepaw, it’s been a long time since I had a real meal,” said Shadow.
“I got an idea! How about you join our clan, we could use some extra apprentices in Thunderclan,” meowed Furzepaw.
“Really?” Shadow meowed.
“As long as you can prove to the rest of Thunderclan that you can fight off other clans, hunt for the other cats of our clan and follow the Thunderclan code,” meowed Sunpaw firmly.
“Code? What’s that?” Shadow mewed.
“It’s the rules run by our clan handed down by our ancestors in Starclan,” Furzepaw mewed.
“Be quiet! Mouse brain! We now broke the Thunderclan code by feeding an outsider!” Sunpaw hissed.
“Yes, but even for a loner cat she couldn’t feed herself on these filthy twoleg streets when her twolegs dumped her, she needs us!” Furzepaw meowed.
“You’re always the one to help cats in need, no matter where they’re from,” grumbled Sunpaw.
“Don’t mind Sunpaw, yes he’s a bit of adurdon at times but it’s only because he doesn’t understand that loner cats who’ve been through a lot would still need help from a clan cat,” mewed Furzepaw.
“I’m not bothered by him, I was just so relived after he gave his mouse to me to fill my belly,” mewed Shadow.
“Come with us to the forest in Thunderclan, leave this twoleg streets of filth behind and our mentors will train you to become a clan warrior!” Furzepaw meowed.
“That’s quite nice of you but what would your clan leader think of me being in their camp?” Shadow questioned.
“We will know once we get to the Thunderclan camp,” meowed Sunpaw.
“Follow us, we’ll lead you into the forest to meet our clan leader,” meowed Furzepaw.
Shadow followed Sunpaw and Furzepaw out of the filthy twoleg streets and into a place where there were more trees but still twoleg nests full of twolegs. Shadow can smell the scent of the air smelling a lot cleaner then what she smelled in the twoleg streets. Shadow never smelled the air this clean in many moons ever since she was a tiny kit before her house folks abandoned her to become a stray.
They left the twoleg streets behind them and after crossing many gardens, twoleg nests, and fences they were now in the lush green forest of Thunderclan territory.
Shadow can tell because there was no more stench of twolegs or their filth that she used to live on in the streets anymore.
She felt more happier getting the scent of the fresh forest air instead of eating out of the trash and being chased by stray dogs.
“No more twoleg filth, I can now hunt in the forest,” thought Shadow.
A smoky black Tom cat with green eyes saw them return back with Shadow.
“Where have you been, Furzepaw?!” The clan’s deputy yeowed.
“We went out to the street to hunt and found this cat living on the streets who was half starved,” meowed Furzepaw.
“Furzepaw told me to give up my fresh kill for this she-cat,” meowed Sunpaw.
“I’m very disappointed in you Furzepaw, you broke the warriors code but you also helped a cat in need, but why did you tell Sunpaw to give up his fresh kill?” The clan deputy meowed.
“This is Shadow, her twolegs abandoned her when she was just a small kit and all she had to eat was twoleg filth off the streets,” meowed Furzepaw.
“Is that true?” The clan deputy asked Shadow.
Shadow dipped her head nodding silently.
“How cruel can those mangy twolegs get?” The clan deputy yeowed.
“I want to train to become a warrior as your apprentice,” mewed Shadow.
“I’m sorry but I’m training Furzepaw, you would have to go to our clan leader Waspstar, she’ll settle something out for you outsider,” said the clan deputy.
“Aren’t you the clan leader?” Shadow asked.
“No, I’m Thunderclan’s deputy, I’m Spotbelly, I work for Waspstar,” said the clan deputy.
“Can you bring me into your camp to meet her then?” Shadow mewed.
“As you wish,” sighed Spotbelly.
Shadow followed Spotbelly and the two apprentices through the undergrowth of the forest and past many pine trees till they reached the Thunderclan camp where the clan leader Waspstar was waiting on high rock.
“Waspstar! We brought you a new apprentice to train to become a warrior!” Spotbelly yeowed from below Waspstar.
“He smells of twoleg filth and looks underfed, what happened for you to bring a kittypet into our forest!” Waspstar meowed.
“Yes, I was a kittypet but only for a while, my house folks abandoned me when I was just a small kit, all I had to eat was two leg filth from the trash in the two leg streets,” meowed Shadow.
“You must prove yourself worthy then, I sense a lot of spirit in you young street cat, what did your former housefolks call you?” Waspstar asked.
“Shadow,” she mewed.
“You will be trained by yours truly Waspstar as your mentor,” mewed Waspstar.
All the other cats stared at Shadow then looked at their leader in surprise.
“Starclan has given me this young cat’s apprentice name, for now on young Shadow will train as my apprentice as Foxpaw, please welcome Foxpaw!” Waspstar meowed.
The other cats in Thunderclan were unsure about their leader welcoming in a loner cat but Furzepaw was so proud of Foxpaw that she came up to her and gave Foxpaw an affectionate lick on the nose.
“The sun is setting, we must rest till tomorrow, then we can start hunting again,” said Spotbelly.
“Where do I sleep?” Foxpaw asked.
“Follow me,” said Furzepaw.
Foxpaw followed Furzepaw through the brambles of the overgrowth till she saw a den.
“This is the apprentice’s den, we as apprentices sleep here,” said Furzepaw.
Furzepaw was starting to become an even closer friend to Foxpaw although she didn’t know what the other cats in Thunderclan had to say about her yet even Furzepaw’s hunting partner Sunpaw still.
Foxpaw knew that Waspstar was going to train her to become a great hunter and warrior of Thunderclan.
Furzepaw and Foxpaw layed next to each other in the apprentice’s den sharing touches grooming each other till they both fell asleep.
This made Foxpaw feel good, she had a close friend and she found herself a place where she could belong in Thunderclan. This is where she belongs.
The End.

This was a short little backstory of my new Warriors Cats oc Foxfur right now she’s known as Foxpaw by Starclan and the clan leader Waspstar even with her being Foxpaw’s mentor to teach her to hunt for fresh kill for the clan and to fight as a warrior to defend their camp from other clans. I had to make it short because I didn’t want to write on this all day, I had to get to a stopping point but this was a short backstory behind my new Warriors cat oc Foxfur.
