After hauling all of their luggage into the entryway of the cabin, James took Lily by the hand to lead her down into the basement. Lucky for you, turning on the power and the water heater was fortunately always James’ job. You were quite happy to never step foot into that creepy basement.
Marlene and Mary were tasked with pulling the sheets off the furniture and putting them away while you got the keys from the designated drawer in the kitchen to go and unlock the door leading to the back porch. Taking a broom and a rag to swipe down the wooden benches surrounding the firepit right outside the glass doors leading into the living room.
You went back inside to get the thick fur blankets to lay on top of the benches, passing Remus who was working on getting a fire started. Brushing your hand along his shoulder as you walked by him, you told Peter to start unpacking the box filled with bottles of alcohol Sirius had brought.
James and Lily came back upstairs, the former holding the beforementioned blowtorch in his hands. Lily started on turning on the lights scattered around the floor, instantly changing the atmosphere of the lodge into a cozy one, as James made his way to the front door.
You finished setting up the outside, turning on the fairy lights strung around the porch railings before going back inside. Soon the front door was fixed and almost everything unpacked. Sirius had already turned on the stereo and chosen one of the cd’s from the shelves, filling the room with the sounds of his favourite Queen album.
James and Lily had already taken their bags up to the attic, where James’ room was. The others grabbed their bags and followed Remus up the stairs.
“Some of us will have to share. There’s six of us but only 4 more rooms,” the tall boy told the others.
Mary hugged Marlene’s arm closer to hers. “We can share. Don’t really want to sleep alone in here.”
Sirius and Peter shared a look, before each of them sprinted to one of the smaller rooms at the end of the hall. Remus let out a sigh and pointed the girls to the room they could share.
“Well, I guess you get to share with me,” you said and bumped your hip against his, walking to the last available room.
Smiling as you entered the master bedroom, you turned on the lights and dropped your bags at the foot of the king-sized bed. Usually, you had this room all to yourself, the boys letting you have it as it was the only room on the floor with its own bathroom attached. You never complained, seeing as that specific bathroom had a beautiful bathtub overlooking the mountainside.
“Which side do you want,” Remus asked, scratching the back of his neck and not meeting your eyes.
“I’ll take the right.” You let yourself fall onto the mattress, closing your eyes. When Remus did not move from his spot near the door you sat back up to look at him, cocking your head to the side.
“Maybe I should sleep downstairs,” he considered.
“I’m not letting you sleep on the couch,” you told him, tapping his leg with your foot. “You’re acting as if we haven’t slept in the same bed before.”
A blushing red crept up to his ears as his hand went back to his neck. “But that was years ago.”
Pulling up your legs to sit on criss crossed on the bed, you jokingly rolled your eyes. “And? I’m not bothered by it. And knowing James will probably make us watch a horror movie tonight, I think I’d actually feel better with someone else in the same room,” you reasoned, watching his shoulders relax slightly. “Unless it bothers you. I can go ask Pads if he’ll switch with you.”
“No, it’s okay,” he rushed out, stumbling over his own feet as he walked to the other side of the bed. “Just wanted to make sure you were fine with it.”
⋆⁺₊⋆ ❄ ⁺₊⋆ ❄ ₊⁺ ⋆
“What are you doing?” Remus asked when the two of you entered the kitchen. Lily was crouched down, sweeping something into the dustpan she was holding.
“We found some dirt in here. We think it must have been some kind of animal that dragged it in. It can’t have been us. It probably got in through that open window upstairs.” She went to empty the dustpan into the bin. “James and Sirius are looking if they can find it.”
“I’m sure they’ve got that covered. I’m going to start the fire outside,” Remus said and squeezed by Peter and Mary, who were busy getting dinner started.
“Need any help in here?” you asked your friends, hopping up on the counter, your legs swinging back and forth. The water on the stove was already bubbling and Mary rushed to dump in two packs of noodles, almost punching Peter in the face with her elbow where he was stirring the sauce.
“We’re all good here,” Lily smiled at her as she went to supervise. “But thank you.”
You jumped back down and walked into the living room. James and Sirius were both lying on the couch watching Remus at the firepit outside. Apparently they were already done with their search. You went around the room closing the curtains, not liking the feeling that someone could be watching from any of the windows.
“Did you find the intruder?” Plopping yourself down between the two, you pulled your legs up to rest them on Sirius’ lap. His hand went to pinch your calf, earning a kick in his thigh in return.
“Nope,” James replied lazily. “It was probably just a squirrel looking to nap some food.”
You only hummed in response, your eyes now fixed on your best friend as he smiled at the small flames dancing around in the metal bowl. Sirius and James exchanged a mischievous glance over your head, their eyes crinkling in amusement.
“We should go and join Moony,” Sirius suggested, pushing your legs off his lap, and standing up to offer you a hand. Marlene came hopping down the stairs as Sirius dragged you out to the porch. James grabbed a stack of blankets before following along.
You all had dinner around the fire that night, staying out even though the wind found it’s way into the blankets and you were freezing. Usually, you were one of the first to complain about being cold and wanting to head inside but bundled up and sharing a thick wool blanket with Remus, you could not bring yourself to care.
Mary took over your role this time, being the first one to move to the living room, quickly followed by Lily and Peter. The three started a game of settlers of catan on the coffee table while the rest of you stayed outside, most of you nursing one of the beers Sirius had provided.
“Want to head inside?” Remus mumbled close to your ear when he noticed you shivering, and you nodded up at him. He stood up first, wrapping his part of the blanket around you as well. He settled down on the couch, watching the game as you went to rifle through the selection of movies the boys had brought on the trip.
You rolled your eyes when you saw it was mostly scary movies, just as you had predicted. But there were two Christmas movies as well, both of which you took with you to the couch. “I say we all decide on one of these right now so we can outvote those menaces out there,” you urged, mentioning towards James, Sirius and Marlene who were still talking outside, unaware of the plot going on against them.
They decided on watching Home Alone and you took it upon yourself to argue your case when the others finally joined you, ready to start the movie night. When everybody was ready to start you claimed your spot next to Remus, wrapping half of your blanket around his shoulders again. Sirius sat down on your other side. Peter plopped down in the armchair and the girls cuddled up on the other couch, James placing himself on the floor in front of Lily, leaning his head back against her leg.
You fought to keep your eyes open but not even halfway through the movie Remus felt the weight of your head drop against his shoulder. He fondly smiled down at you, the movie forgotten, and gently reached around you with his arm to slap Sirius when the boy started making kissing noises at him.
The room was almost completely dark when someone nudged your shoulder to wake you up. Your best friend was leaning over you, his eyes drooping with sleepiness and curls sticking up messily all over his head. The only light was coming from the stairs and the tv was already turned off.
“Come on, let’s go to bed,” Remus said softly as he helped you sit up, the blanket dropping from your short frame. Holding onto his hand, you silently crept up the stairs and into your shared room.
He let you use the bathroom first and you quickly brushed your teeth and changed into your comfy pyjamas, now slightly regretting not packing a prettier pair as you looked down at your toothless themed sleeping pants.
Remus had already turned off all the lights and closed the curtains when you stepped back into the room, only leaving the small lamp on his bedside table on. Crawling beneath the thick covers, you watched him close the door behind him.
You were already drifting back to sleep when you heard a noise coming from the glass doors leading out onto the balcony. Body stiffening up, you lay still, listening if you could hear the noise again. There the noise was again, the sound raising the hairs on your arms and neck.
Trying to tell yourself that it was nothing, your mouth ran dry and your muscles tensed up as the noise continued, sounding as if someone was tapping on the glass from the other side. Slowly, you got to your feet, trying to steady your breathing as you approached the curtain covered doors.
Your heartbeat started pounding in your ears as you reached out to move the curtain to the side, pulling it back with a quick motion, not giving yourself the opportunity to hesitate. Nothing was out there. Moving a little closer, you tried peering further into the darkness, only seeing the snowflakes being thrown around by the wind.
“What are you doing?”
Remus’ voice startled you and you jumped back, letting the curtain fall back into place. Putting a hand to on your racing heart, you fixed him with a playful glare. “You scared me. Don’t sneak up on me like that.”
“I wasn’t sneaking,” he let out a laugh, aware that you were not actually mad at him. “What were you looking at?”
“Nothing. Let’s just go to bed,” you waved him off, moving back to your side of the bed, completely unaware about the boot-shaped marks in the snow just outside the glass.

Perfect
A/N: Alright I've come out of my hidey hole. I know you missed me ;) Anyways enjoy my perfect flowers.
Pairing: Remus Lupin x Reader (not yet dating)
Warnings: Nothing really. Just pure fluff.
Summary: Remus wants to preparefor your birthday but struggles to be perfect.
Word Count: 1.5k
It was a bright, sunny day as I walked across the courtyard. I giggle as a rogue pygmy-puff dashes across my feet. The fluffy hair tickling my ankles above my black shoes. I tuck my books into my bag because all my classes are done for the day. Scanning the yard for my favorite boys and snicker at the sight. Sirius tries to flirt with some Gryffindors and James ruins it by magically mocking him. I walk over and Peter pulls me into a hug.
“Finally someone to help me with these idiots.” He jokes into my ear quietly. I cover my smile and lightly hit his chest. My face morphs into a slight frown when I realize Remus isn’t with the boys. “And when I finally made the shot I could feel the rush- Yes darling?” Sirius asks when he feels the tap on his shoulder. “Where’s Rem?” I asked him since they were together last. “Oh last I remember he was skipping off to our dorm. Saying he had something to do.” He tells me and I kiss his cheek. “Thank you pads.”
I giggle as he starts to rush an explanation to the Gryffindors in front of him, blushing furiously. I make my way inside. I smell what the elves are making for dinner waft through the hallways as I pass the painting to the kitchen. There are traces of mushrooms, steak, and bread in the air that could make any stomach growl. The best part of Hogwarts is that even the non-magical things that even muggles could do become magical just by default.
Fingers dragging along the cool stone walls, the bumps of the pillars halting them from time to time. The castle is warm but somehow the walls themselves have a type of independence, choosing to have a cool temperature that could save you from the day’s heat. The wallpaper of the walls goes all the way to the ceiling, delicate designs most likely made by fairies. The hallway is full of quiet chattering, footsteps, and laughter. Some students having clubs rush past to make it on time, others not having a care in the world letting time fly during the free time they have.
The fat lady comes into view, singing her famous “operatic” melody that might not break glass but certainly can burst an eardrum. Her pink dress ruffled looking like she’s been running around, most likely searching for an unwilling audience. “Password?” Her cultured voice sings and I nod. I tell her the password and the painting opens to show the common room.
The common room always smells of firewood and old books. A fire is crackling underneath a painting of an old man. I was half expecting to see messy brown curls tucked into the red sofa but it was completely empty besides a cozy blanket and pillows. Huffing, I look at the staircase that leads to the boy’s dorms and begin my journey. Posters scattering every other door, some muggle sports and some wizarding. The seeker of the Irish team winked at me as I passed by, making me a bit shy. He was always a flirt, making the boys I often have by my side huff about how he wasn’t all that charming.
Finally making it to the door I was looking for I raise my fist to knock but pause at the sounds inside. There’s crashing and rummaging like someone was looting around. Folding my hand around my wand I whisper “Alohomora,” there's a click signifying the lock opening and I turn the door knob. Opening the door quietly, hoping to not let any possible intruder know someone was entering. Instead of a burglar all I see is a cluttered room with a messy Remus in the middle of all the clutter. “Where is that damned thing?” He mutters to himself as he throws a shirt behind him, unknowingly landing on me.
I begin to pick up around the room, folding jerseys, putting trinkets back into their designated shelves, and other things as I slowly walk up to him. I place the folded clothes on Jame’s bed and place my hands softly on his shoulders and go on my tippy toes. “What are you looking for Remus?” I softly question and his shoulders relax for a second before they stiffen.
He flips around and I nearly fall if it wasn’t for him being there. He holds my wrists softly looking down at me. “What are you doing here?” He questions and I bite my lip. It does seem a bit strange that I welcomed myself into his dorm room unannounced. It’s normal for me when all the boys are in here but never when only one is inside. My face heats and I place my heels back on the ground. “Oh um- I’m sorry. I just- and you were-” I stutter and he smirks at me. “I’m not upset darling, I just wish it wasn’t a whole mess for you.” he tells me.
He looks behind him, still not breaking contact, using one of his hands to shuffle the mess on the table. He finally finds what he was looking for and takes his wand. “Scourgify.” He casts with a whip of his wand. The room around us starts to put itself away, as if an invisible maid or butler was making their rounds. He walks with me over to his side of the room and I notice that his foot is kicking a box under his bed. I quirk my brow and lean down grabbing the package.
“No don’t-” He sighs, pinching his brow “...do that.” Looking at the package I smile. “Oh Remmy…” I gasp, placing my hand at my chest. “I- I was trying to wrap it for your birthday but… but-” He groans, flopping on his bed. “No one ever taught me how to wrap presents.” He whispers under his hands. My fingers trace the broken parcel around the present. There’s strips of tape trying to hold it together and the brown parcel is crumbled with a string holding it in place. “Oh Remus, how did you know?” I ask, feeling tears prick at my lashes. “Well I overheard you saying that you didn’t care much for your birthday and I- I couldn’t bear the thought. I also noticed whenever we were heading to the Broomstick how you eyed this. I scrounged some money together and bought it.” He blurts out and I climb next to him on the bed.
Lightly peeling his hands from his face, I smile at him softly. “Why are you so stressed? I love it, Remmy…” I tell him and his face stays solemn. “I wanted to make sure it was perfect, now I spoiled it and it’s all messy…” He frowns and I lay my hand on his chest, tracing small pictures across it. “Remus, it’s already perfect because you made it. You could’ve gotten me a stink bomb and I would’ve loved it.” I tell him and he holds my hand, squeezing it. “But it’s not. It’s all torn and I can’t find another roll of parcel.” He complains and I giggle. I raise my wand and wink. “Acio roll of parcel.” I smirk and he groans slightly laughing. “I didn’t think of that.” He mumbles and I reach out for the parcel floating towards us.
I pull him to sit on the ground with me. I reach for a box similar in size and he raises an eyebrow. “What’s this?” He asks and I shrug. “I’ll teach you.” I whisper and he wipes under his eyes though they are mostly dry. “Ok…” He whispers back and we get started.
“So, I fold it like this… And how do I tape it without it unfolding?” He asks, holding down the triangle he just made. “Well you are a beginner and that is a high level move…” I joke and he rolls his eyes. “Here I’ll help you this time.” I say and quickly jut my hand out to take his place. My fingers graze the back of his hand and I jerk it back for a second. My face heats up in an instant and I place my hand back. “Ok…” He says, looking up at me. His nose nearly meets mine and we lock eyes. “You- You can tape it now.” I mutter, his hand unmoving. He makes a small noise agreeing but still doesn’t move his hand. “Your eyes always take my breath away…” He mutters under his breath and I gulp. So quickly I question if it even happened his chin moves closer, lips almost touching but never making contact.
He moves away and grabs the tape and I stay there amazed. I snap too once he finally tapes the last part and he laughs. “I did it!” He tells me and I nod happily. “I have no idea why you were so worried. I never took you as a perfectionist.” I say and he sighs. “Because it’s for you. I always thought you were the most perfect person I’ve ever met and wanted you to know that…” He admits and I smile. “Remmy…” I sigh, I lean closer only to be interrupted by Sirius barreling into the room. “You completely ruined my chances, you asshole!” He yells and I laugh, hiding behind Remus to dodge the pillows being hurled.

Got a thing for my sister, moony? | remus lupin x f!black!reader
Summary : sirius notices that when it's close to the full moon remus is an asshole but when it comes to y/n he's an absolute sweet heart
Warning : one year age gap (youre regulus's twin sis), Gryffindor reader (i hope that still makes u interested), pet names like 'love, sweet heart, darling', fluff
Tumblr media
It was... Sirius figured it out. When remus told him about his so called lopsided hair
"Padfoot, your hair looks lopsided today" Remus said, his left hand on his chin and his right hand pointing on sirius's hair.
When you heard that, you chocked on your drink. I mean it's true, you agreed with remus, his hair does look lopsided. "Mhm, top tier comedy isn't it sis? " Said sirius sarcastically.
The other boys laughed but, remus looked concerned. You were ready for his insults to you, cause full moons in a few day.
"You alright, darling? " Said remus. Suddenly it was sirius's time to chocke on his water. "What the hell did you call my sister".
"Darling, you have a problem with that, padfoot" Said remus confidently. "Geez, almost got me a concussion" Sirius said, taking another sip of water.
Or when sirius, James and Peter found you and remus together in the library.
"What does this all mean im gonna go insane" you said. Defense against the dark arts is your least favorite subjects.
"Hey, hey, it's alright sweetheart, we can take a break, you know, I brought snacks" Remus smiled brightly.
"Really, what snacks? " You asked. "You know, the toast that you call moony toast, that one" He put it on the table. "And you made two! " You smiled.
"Yes, one for me, and one for you, of course i can't forget to make you one" Remus grinned, taking one piece of his toast and ate it.
And when you five sneaked to the astronomy towers to plan some pranks
"What should we do, to snivellus house Slytherin" James walked around the astronomy tower. "Maybe we could put nifflers in the Slytherins common room? " You said.
The boys said it was a good idea but, Remus called you "love, y/n, come". " Yeah, what is it, rem? " You sat next to him, his hands on your back.
"Look at that, that's a shooting star, what are you gonna wish for? " He said, pointing at the moving star.
"Hm, I want us to be friends forever, you and me, always, forever" You looked at the stars, and Remus, then the stars.
"Well, love, I want more than that" Remus said.
That's when Sirius snapped out of it. He realized what remus ment was not oh 'I want more than that like money,or something else's but it was 'I want to be more than friend's.
That evening, Sirius walked to the hospital wing, to see Remus.
"Where's y/n? " Sirius asked. "Oh, she just left, I told her to, she looks tired" Remus said, the pain in his eyes were still visible even though it was hours after the full moon.
"I need to talk to you" Sirius grabbed a stool, sitting closely to remus. "I know you fancy my sister, it's obvious! The way you look at her, the way you're a complete gentleman towards her, bloody hell you like my sister"
Remus's face looks like the moon had come early, "n-no", " Oh dont deny it, moons, I'm fine with it! " Sirius smiled.
"Okay, Sirius, i- I don't just like your sister, I fell for her--the way she acts, her beautiful hair, her pretty face, her soothing voice, and she's everything to me! But you'll hate me for falling in love with her"
"Seriously Remus? Gosh it's obvious that you love her, I mean go for it, ask her out, or something" Sirius smiled.
"Really? " Remus smiled, and Sirius nodded.

"She's cute, right?" James asks.
He's staring across the room.
Sirius moves his knight on the chess board and follows James' gaze. He laughs when he sees the red-head Lily Evans chatting with her friends on the other side of their common room.
"What?" James asks.
Sirius glances at him.
They're thirteen and it's the first time James really talks about girls. And even if girls and dates and kisses are new and not particularly something Sirius is interested in, he knows the rules. He was taught before he even understood what dating a girl meant.
"She's a Muggleborn," Sirius shrugs as he states the obvious.
"So?"
There's defiance in James voice, it reminds Sirius of the times he used to refer the likes of Lily Evans with much worse vocabulary. It was James and their friends to make him change his ways.
Sirius sighs.
"It's fine by me," he says, honestly. "But I doubt your parents would approve."
James frowns. At first Sirius thinks he's acknowledged the problem and trying to come up with a way to pursuit his crush without his parents ever finding out. And really, how could they, James doesn't have cousins to tell on him.
But it's not that. James looks at him the way he does when he's trying to read deep into his mind. Like James did when they had their first discussions about blood supremacy. Or when Sirius was walking funny after last summer break. He had hurt his back falling down the stairs after an argument with his mother, but that wasn't the sort of thing to discuss with... Anyone really.
James' expression clears, he leans back and makes his move on the chess board.
"Your parents want you to marry a pureblood," James states.
Sirius shrugs.
"Of course. Yours don't?"
"Dad would probably prefer if I'd marry a Muggleborn. She could teach him how to use the Muggle box he bought for warming up food," James says.
Sirius stares at him, and it has nothing to do with the said Muggle device. He'd look more surprised, but he learned to hide his feelings years ago.
He knows James' family thinks Muggleborns can do anything a pureblood can. But it's one thing to treat people equally on the streets, another to break something as holy as the pure bloodline.
Sirius had thought marrying a pureblood was given, a duty, a fact, something every pureblood did. But here he is, looking at the heir of the Potter family - an heir who clearly doesn't follow any of the rules Sirius had been taught since the day he was born.
As Sirius looks at James, he realises it looks like freedom. Not that Sirius even really cares about girls and marriage, but for the first time he sees that James truly has everything. Money, brains, parents who send him sweets and chocolate even when he doesn't ask for it. But more than that, James has options. He can choose his future.
"Are you ok?" James asks bringing Sirius back from his thoughts.
"Yeah." He answers before focusing on the chess board again. "But if I have to marry someone like Carrow and you get to choose, the least you can do is to lose the game!"
His knight eats James' horse.
"Hey, it's not that bad." James says comfortingly and moves his queen out of the way. Then he grins and Sirius knows he's up to no good.
"You can choose too. If you don't want Carrow you can always take one of your cousins," James suggests as sincerely as a mischievous pre-teen can.
The sofa cushion hits James before he has time to dodge, and then the chess pieces fly around as Sirius reaches over the sofa table to James.
When Remus Lupin descends to the Gryffindor common room a few minutes later, his two friends are a messy, wrestling and laughing pile of loosened ties and wrinkled ropes on the floor.
He shakes his head and sits on the sofa after removing a few misplaced chess pieces. He takes a fat book out of his bag and continues his day as if two wrestling thirteen-year-olds in his feet were nothing but an ordinary day.
As he reads Sirius launches from the floor to find a safe haven next to him - James knows better than to bother his reading. When the long haired boy leans his head against Remus' shoulder and shows his tongue at James, something extraordinary happens. Nobody notices, but the corners of Remus Lupin's lips turn into a smile behind his book.
Sirius Black has many things to learn and unlearn during his Hogwarts years. And dating girls - or not dating them - is definitely one of those.

Angel/Demon AU / @wolfstarmicrofic / 989 words
CW: sexual content, drugs & alcohol
Remus points a blessed sword against the side of the demon’s throat, eyes narrowed in his direction. He feels Minerva McGonagall’s divine energy as she apparates beside Remus.
“Leave her alone,” he warns in a low voice.
The demon, Sirius, slowly turns around with raised brows. Both Minerva and Remus scowl at him. Sirius had always been a threat to them. Always found a way to corrupt humans, especially the ones assigned to specific angels.
He always got his way.
“She isn’t doing anything she doesn’t want to,” he replies, unbothered about the divine beings in front of him. You’d need to be a major nuisance to have not one, but two angels corner you. And yet, he was indifferent.
Minerva steps forward, quiet and lethal. “You are encouraging a range of unhealthy activities. Drinking, drugs, luring her to this…” she scrunches her nose at the club they were standing outside of.
Sirius grins as if they’re all sharing a mutual joke. “I know, isn’t it fun?”
Minerva looks down her nose at him like he is nothing but filth. “She is under our guidance.”
“Is she?” Sirius asks innocently.
Marlene McKinnon stumbles out of the club in that moment, bottle in hand as she sings out of key. Remus doesn’t need to check to feel the drugs in her system.
Minerva thins her lips. They had lost another one. If there was one thing Remus knew very well, it was that angels were not as forgiving as humans made them out to be.
Remus redirects his sword so it’s right under Sirius’s chin, almost touching him before Sirius flinches away. Blessed weapons had the ability to injure a demon painfully. “You turn them all like you. You ruin everything good. Nothing thrives in your presence. You are a leach,” Remus hisses.
Sirius’s eyes flash in warning. “Careful, angel. Don’t forget I’m not above tearing the wings off your back.”
Minerva tenses and Remus can see her calculating. He knows she is thinking about killing him. He also knows that they’re both aware that they can’t. Not when Sirius belongs to a dangerous family. Killing him would cause a chain of events they didn’t want to deal with.
This is why Remus had come. To make sure someone didn’t die.
Another woman walks out of the club and makes her way to Marlene. Remus watches as she pulls her in for an embrace. Marlene grins up at her before leaning in for a deep kiss.
Minerva’s wings ruffle in agitation at the display.
A tremor goes through Remus’s own, for reasons other than annoyance.
“We will guide her back,” Minerva cautions, wings pulled tight. “Outside of drugs, you have nothing. You are nothing. She will come to the same realisation.”
Sirius glowers at her then directs it to Remus. “What makes you think I won’t torture him. He’s also nothing. There’d hardly be a consequence.”
That much was true. Minerva was more like Remus’s… mentor. She was a higher up. He was, well, replaceable.
She gives him a deadpan look. “I’ll kill you.”
With that, she disapparates.
Remus watches Sirius with stiff shoulders, feathers ruffling from anticipation. They stare at each other, both bracing for bloodshed.
They wait and wait and Remus realises no other angel is coming.
Sirius seems to realise it too.
He is on Remus in a second, hand on Remus’s throat to pin him against the wall. Remus lets out a grunt at the force as Sirius drops his hand to pin him by the hips instead. Remus shivers when he feels Sirius’s hot tongue sliding down his throat. His mouth opens instinctively and he tugs at Sirius’s hair to connect their mouths.
It should be mortifying how quickly that hot liquid of desire spreads through Remus. He is already moaning lightly against Sirius’s mouth, tugging, tugging, tugging to get him even closer.
“My beautiful angel,” Sirius whispers against him, leaving wet kisses across his jaw. Remus sighs contently, spreading his legs so Sirius can be between them. When that doesn’t feel close enough, he attempts to wrap his legs around the other’s waist. Sirius gets the message instantly and indulges him.
Remus loves the closeness.
“Have they been nice?” Sirius murmurs, still leaving kisses across his body.
Remus ignores him. “Stop stealing my humans. You’re going to make it obvious,” he breathes out shakily.
He feels Sirius grin against his throat. “No, they won’t suspect anything. We hate each other.”
Remus arches against him with a gasp when Sirius’s hand slips under his shirt and up his body. “Absolutely loathe each other,” Remus agrees breathily.
He holds Sirius close, deepening the kiss as Sirius tenderly strokes his wing.
“Missed you,” Remus mumbles and Sirius hums. “I missed you too, had to get your attention.”
Remus tries to pull back to give him a disapproving look but Sirius just leans in to kiss his furrowed eyebrows.
Remus gives up. “You’re going to leave traces of yourself on me.”
“I’ll wipe my aura off you,” Sirius mumbles, still peppering him with kisses anywhere he could reach.
“Oh,” a voice says. Remus pulls back to look at Marlene who begins to grin widely. “Fuck yeah Sirius, this is a win for the gays tonight.”
Sirius looks at her smugly as she drags her lover away, saying something about recreating what Sirius was doing. Remus is instantly curious about that interaction as it wasn’t common to directly interact with humans. Both Remus and Sirius were glamoured to look more human so she hadn’t seen the wings or horns.
Sirius mistakes the look on Remus’s face. “She’s fine, just partying,” he says, knowing Remus was still an angel at the end of the day.
Remus can’t even think to reply because Sirius is leaving love bites, pulling pleasurable sighs out of Remus and oh, does it feel lovely.
Sirius had won twice today.
Corruption, afterall, was his strongest ability.

I kept seeing warm and happy marauders edits before I joined the fandom, but after I joined the fandom, it's full of ANGST. A.N.G.S.T. like, WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU.
I was lied to. Now I can't leave.
