mashle is SO GOOD.

not just because it's a "harry potter rip-off" or a "harry potter parody" (which is mostly just incredibly valid and funny normalize ripping off harry potter!) but because it takes the themes and concepts introduced from harry potter and expands upon them.

For the third time, I've redrawn Puss/Antonio from Puss in Boots and The City of Immortals by @flippythegodzilla in his wedding dress [From Chapter 9!]. I wonder if I'll someday be satisfied and stop redoing this one piece, haha

I am experiencing major critical role mood whiplash. I listened to the podcast episodes 14-28 (skipped 26 and 27 because Reasons but I read the transcripts) in between episodes 6 and 7 of the tv show. So not only am I experiencing the same set of characters going through different storylines at different paces, but I am ten times more emotionally invested in the characters then I was last week. And honestly I’m fucking loving it, this story and these characters are spectacular in both mediums

holy diver is truly one of the great metal music videos i implore everyone to watch it. not because it cool. or action packed. but instead it is fundamentally wonderfully lame shit (dio walks around an empty castle with a sword for 5 minutes) that betrays the true essence of metal, which is that it epic music for nerds. there IS gravitas it IS fun but you have to give yourself to the alter of cringe and camp and magic to see it in all its glory. 

I just finished playing all twd (telltale) games and I just want to say that it was AMAZING. I don’t even have words to describe how incredible of an experience it was.

no like genuinely someone talk to me about this. the story is amazing, the actors were perfect for their roles, and the more you rewatch it, the more nuances you find. it's focused on exactly the right things, and gives just enough time for other stuff(like inder with his dad and kaveri and her relationship with sanjay and how she treated saru) so you know enough to understand and like have an opinion on, but it doesnt take away from the main story. the character development is extraordinary, we see how inder changes himself(now that i think about it, probably subconsciously) so he can be a guy thats deserving of saru, and we see how saru eventually starts to be a bit more bold, and advocate for herself rather than just follow whatever shes told or whatever happens. i dont like the whole makeover thing, she was also gorgeous before(but i understand that its pretty much a staple at this point, across different cinemas). i genuinely do not understand why no one knows about this movie.

hearing rob say he used to transcribe his game notes into in-character notes for jack as a way to play in between games makes me feel so seen
