You couldn’t just stand there as the love of your life was being married off, you just couldn’t!

So, taking all your courage you barged open the door, making your presence known.

Nearly everyone turned your way, investigating what was happening.

A fight ensued as you began walking towards the person who was betrothed to your love.

Despite your efforts they had refused to comply and leave the alter, leading up to where you were now, carrying your dear lover away, while being shouted at by guests.

・It was no secret that Riddle’s mom disapproved of you. The fact that you were a magic-less person from nowhere was enough for her to shut you down and go find the “perfect” partner for Riddle.

・Riddle is in absolute shock as you lifted him up from the floor and proceeded to run away.

・It had taken him a moment before what was happening hit him and he was now struggling to both not fall out of your arms and get back on the ground at the same time.

・By the time you stop running his face is beet red, his hair askew, and clothes wrinkled.

・He scolds you for doing such an act, especially in public, but he really is thankful for you saving him in that situation.

His hair is a mess as you gently placed him down, catching your breath.

Looking up you gave out a laugh as Riddle fiddled with his hair and clothes, trying his best to tidy himself.

“It’s not funny Y/n,” he mumbled out, attempting to avoid eye contact.

He went on about how “improper” it was for you to do that, along with a bunch of other things you weren’t paying attention to.

He went on and on, until a sudden action took him by surprise and stopped him in his tracks.

You placed a sweet kiss on his cheek before giving him a smile and run off, leaving him, again, in a state of shock.

His face almost turned cartoonishly red as he chased after you, attempting to get an answer.

・Honestly, how did you manage to pick Malleus up? Maybe it was heat-of-the-moment-strength(/j) Let’s just say that if you can’t pick him up you instead take his hand and run off together.

・You saving him from this marriage he wasn’t happy to being forced into, you were like his knight in shining armor! Atleast, that’s how he had seen you like.

・The entire experience reminds him of a fairytale he read as a kid, he feels like the princess in the books again.

・He is in absolute awe as he watched the your hair whip in the air, the mischievous smile on your face, it entranced him. Though it did nearly cause him to trip when he wasn’t paying attention-

Small hints of red traced his face as you ran from the alter, ignoring every protest for you to stop in your tracks.

Sure, it was not exactly the moment to do so, but Malleus couldn’t help but admire you at the moment as the two of you ran off together away from everyone.

There were most likely going to be consequences for this, but he couldn't care less for them now as he did his best to keep up with you.

ofc !! i'm going to write the undateable ver. and link it here later since this got longer than i thought it would if you don't mind <3

LUCIFER

tries to be there for you but can't stop himself from drowning in his work.

don't get me wrong - he most certainly is attentive to your needs and visits you often - but he still puts all the blame on himself no matter the cause for you being put in the hospital.

this is because it reminds him of when he and his brothers fell.

not only did he have to get accustomed to the devildom, but he had to suffer the loss of his sister, deal with his new demonic form, and raise satan all while being diavolo's righthand man.

so naturally, being the eldest and also the one who started the great celestial war, he always felt at fault for how things turned out; although he'd rather die than say it aloud.

you being put in the hospital makes him feel like he failed you, he failed to save you, failed to protect you, even if he hides it with a poker face and instead drowns in his work.

please - this is one of the only times you'll see a vulnerable luci.

cupping his face tenderly with your hands as he sits by your bedside late at night, he refuses to cry, but definently has a gloomy expression.

he can't lose you too. he cant fail you.

as soon as you're discharged though, he makes sure to keep you by his side more often.

late night office dates, anyone?

he'll hold you close and try to be slightly more affectionate in public.

this whole scenario has reminded him just how mortal you are, and he hates that someone who's just as angelic as you is trapped inside of a fragile and weak body.

MAMMON

clingy asf

probably the first one to find out mc's in the hospital.

he's downright upset at first. normally he's attached to your hip, so the one time he leaves you alone, ya wind up in the hospital? he knew you were too much of a fragile human to be left alone!

he refuses to let anyone near you as you recover - besides the doctors and nurses, of course, but even then he eyeballs them to make sure they're being gentle with you.

he goes on a rant/lecture about how you're just some weak human who needs him by your side and how you shouldn't have gone off on your own, but as soon as you frown or pout while averting your gaze, his whole demeanor flips.

he's just really worried about you.

he's a big tsundere, yes, but he cares so much about you and he's not sure how to convey his emotions as he's never felt this way about anyone before.

"h-hey, i'm not mad at ya. just... i'm your first. no, i don't care if i'm in the middle of a scheme, i'll always make time for ya... so don't go off alone, okay?!"

buys you tons of gifts before and after you've left the hospital

definitely won't leave you alone for the first few weeks of being discharged

really, he's clinging onto you like you have more value than goldie

and truly, he wouldn't admit it, but you do.

LEVIATHAN

probably gets told by one of his brothers since he's hiding out in his room as per usual.

first, he almost summons lotan in anger to get revenge for mc if they got hurt by someone, but whether that is or isn't the case, he soon calms down once he recognizes something.

this is just like the 78th episode of TSL he was watching when the lord of shadows returns the favor to henry for helping him through his familial problems by taking care of him!!

well then. now levi's been inspired to be the best lord of shadows he can for his henry.

oh, and i guess he'll do it anyways because he cares about mc's wellbeing to begin with or wtv... /s

nonetheless, snek boi brings a bunch of games, movies, and mangas to mc as he camps out in their hospital room with them.

you better be prepared to binge watch all of TSL and fall asleep to whatever sounds are coming from his game beside your bed - not that you have much of a choice, anyways.

his brothers probably try to pull him away from you as he's clingy boy #2 and staying up having gaming marathons can't be good for your recovery, so you can bet your little human butt you're going to find yourself staying in levi's room for a couple of days after you've left the hospital.

definently places ruri-chan or any other anime-related stickers on your casts (if you have any) or cheeks to cheer you up.

bonus: he totally tries to sneak in henry 2.0 to keep you company when he can't be there and if he succeeds, he relies on henry to give him reports of your health.

SATAN

pissed if someone else landed you in the hospital. nearly goes on a rampage and his brothers just barely manage to stop him.

probably one of the best people to keep you company once he calms down, though.

definitely visits you at the same hour everyday to bring you books he suggests you read.

if you're not up for reading any, he'll suggest reading them to you, or suggest something else entirely different.

stays overnight a couple times with an audiobook playing in the background or with an open book on his chest.

doesn't mind falling asleep in weird positions anyways considering the way his room is set up.

watches detective dramas late at night when you're asleep like a dork lol

definitely watches cute cat compilations with you if you're feeling down for any particular reason and will stroke your hair to calm you down.

10/10, soft satan is best satan <3

probably screams tbh

that can't be good for your skin!! all that stress on top of being sick/hurt is going to make you break out!!

practically dashes to visit you with skin care & beauty products although you're advised not to use them by your doctors atm

asmodeus has never been so salty.

though, he is concerned about your overrall being.

it honestly scares him how much he cares about you. especially in this state because he's never cared so much for anyone else other than his brothers or himself in a long time.

most likely to cry (besides mammon) if you cry since he already has tears stinging his eyes.

he starts neglecting his own nightly routines to stay overnight with you.

if you start to point it out or ask him why he's doing this, he'll just sit there in astonishment processing your words.

you matter so much to him? like, duh, of course he's going to be here, why wouldn't he? he doesn't care about anything else other than you and your recovery right now and-

when you're asleep, he watches you silently for a change, caressing your cheek delicately with soft eyes focused on your relaxed features.

he gets a strange feeling in his chest - and not like the ones he gets from excitement over his quick hookups - no, no, this one is a foreign feeling. it's, dare he say, euphoric.

BEELZEBUB

just like lucifer, he feels guilty.

he already lost lilith. he can't lose you too.

he probably needs more reassuring that you're going to be okay than you do, honestly.

he plops down onto the couch in your room and intensely stares at your sleeping form as he stress eats.

on a funnier note, he has the nurses doing laps around the hospital bringing him food and he says "it's for mc" to them, but we all know who it's really for.

he's the softest he's ever been with you.

you thought he was a teddy bear before? he's practically made of stuffing by now.

when you're sad, he wants to reassure you, but you look so sickly and frail that he holds you like your glass.

please reassure this behemoth of a man that you're going to be okay, he really loves you and wouldn't forgive himself if he made things worse.

most definitely takes you out to a restaurant to treat you once you've fully recovered.

BELPHEGOR

he already beats himself up over the attic thing, so if anyone had hurt you enough to put you into the hospital, his anger would probably rival the avatar of wrath and they'd go missing.

squeezes himself onto your bed to cuddle you while being mindful of your iv.

if that doesn't work, well, then he just drapes himself over your legs. he's gonna find a way to be with you, and you can't stop him (y'know, unless you flat out tell him or look like you're uncomfortable).

if all else fails, he settles for mushing his cheek against one arm propped against your bedside as his other hand is occupied holding yours.

he's pretty much like one of those therapy cats LMAO

lots n lots of sleepy cuddling. after all, rest is essential for your recovery, right?

when you two can't sleep, you have movie nights bingewatching the worst rated movies and shows in the devildom and the two of you go cinema sins on them.

v clingy after you get discharged and holds you noticeably tighter to his chest.

"stop doing stupid things that could kill you, you idiot."

Logan Being Adorable Crow/Raven/Birb Boi

Basically I’m stuck with this headcanon forever now because I love it too much and I really love crows and ravens and the idea of winged Sides so welcome to my list of what Logan does that’s birb related.

- Logan is the one that reminds the other Sides when Thomas is speaking to someone who has hurt them in the past. He also does this as soon as Thomas sees them, so that the others don’t try to initiate something that would put Virgil and Janus on edge.

- And technically that’d be more for Virgil and/or Janus to do but Logan kind of just did it and they don’t complain. He does it because crows are known for telling others when and what the nearby mean human looks like and helps them avoid them. He didn’t even realise that it was a thing he did for the longest time.

- He also makes sure that the others stay warm; even more so Janus now that the snek actually hangs around them all now. He knows that its a very parental thing to do but when he sees one of the others shiver he wants to just hug them and warm them up; so he puts a blanket on them instead because that’d be weird for Logic to do.

- He really wants to be the hugger, and not the huggee. He wants his wings around the other Side and to keep them safe in the little pocket he makes. But he denies that he ever has these thoughts and does his best to ignore them.

- Remember that he’s also Curiosity and that birbs are very curious little creatures too.

- SPEAKING OF CURIOSITY! Like the twins, Logan also has a small pocket (much smaller then the ‘kingdoms’ that the twins have) that he can manipulate. He’s hidden said space from the twins but he also hasn’t been there in years...

- Before he became so... non-showing of his emotions, he used to fly around his small space and even played ring toss games and other things. He still loves games, of any kind really, but he limits himself to ‘intellectual’ games so that his self-made reputation stays intact.

- I’m bumming myself out here so HE MAKES NESTS! In his bed. And without twigs and sticks and stuff, he’s found that they like to dig into his skin and put holes in his clothes as he sleeps. He uses blankets, pillows, stuffed toys, in as many different shapes and textures as he can because he loves having so many different textured things. He usually makes them on rough days, where he’s too tired to talk himself out of making such a ‘weird’ thing- but they’re usually huge and he falls asleep INSTANTLY in them.

- Roman used to pat his head. Roman no longer pats his head. It feels nice, especially when he did the thing where you have all your finger tips on the scalp and just move them in and out, but Logan always slapped his hand away before he got too relaxed. He knows he makes tiny birb noises when he’s happy and with the Side that he sees as his best friend? He’d be relaxed too easily. And then everything with Roman would be destroyed because he’d instantly find it ‘weird’ and ‘abnormal’.

- No one touch his shinies. He has quietly and sneakily snatched a few of the others things (he made sure that they wouldn’t be missed) and sometimes he pulls them out from the back of his closet just to shine different coloured lights on them at different angles and- Oh look, five hours have passed and all he’s done is look at shiny things. He loves it, but also hates how much time he’s ‘wasted’ when he could be working.

- No one touch his pebbles either. Roman and Remus used to give him pebbles back when they first appeared and he has no idea how they knew that he loves these round rocks that each are formed under a one in a million-billion chance. Even now, he’s seen a few pebbles lying around the Mindscape that he’s picked up and he knows that Remus leaves them around for him specifically. He’s rather glad that Remus hasn’t asked why he likes pebbles so much...

- Speaking of Remus, he once had the thought to eat one of his tentacles (birds eat squids its not TOO weird) and he saw Remus almost snap his neck to look at him after the sudden intrusive thought. Logan doesn’t know why Remus lied and said that he just wanted to try and scare Logan; when he had obviously heard his thought.

- So Logan’s 100% afraid of Remus learning that he is birb and sharing it and its the only thing about Remus that he is scared of. And he hates it because Remus is so much fun to freakin’ talk to!!!!!!!!!!

- Oh and he definitely only falls in love once in his entire life and it’s for the person that he fears will find out his secret. So more repressing his feelings!

- He can’t watch any movies with flying in it. It makes his back ache and his legs jitter because every part of him wants to go do that. Go in the sky and just stretch his wings.

- Oh and he hasn’t let his poor wings out in years. 5 years? 8? He’s lost count. But he has been getting more and more back pains around the others and he knows that its the exact place his wings would attach to his back. He’s thought about locking himself up in his room, never coming out to avoid the increasing back pain, but he knows that it’d drive him crazy to not be around everyone. And to not see Thomas or Remus or Roman or the others again... So he puts up with it.

*hugs Logan* SPREAD YOU’RE WINGS AND FLY LO GOSH I WANT TO SEE MORE CANON-SETTING WINGED LOGAN FICS. Seriously if you know of an existing Logan fic where he’s a birb, please link me. Or if you make one from here PLEASE show me I would be so overwhelmingly astounded to see something made from this (i would prefer a happy ending one but I’d read any tbh)

Here's the situation, i crave some pythor appreciation rn for some reason, so what is your favorite thing about him??? <3 (luv u fam uwu)

Tbh I love a lot of things about Pythor cuz he was and still is such a cool character to me, I know he’s kind of a basic villain but as one of the first villains in Ninjago, he’s a classic and I think that’s why I like him so much!

He kind of reminds me of Scar from The Lion King but as a purple Snek that can swallow a person whole and keep them in his stomach for a limited amount of time until he either eats them or vomits them out :> I also just realized that they both have British accents so that’s another thing that they have in common

Another plus is his design:

Purple, which is a classic evil color in kids TV shows plus it just looks really nice

The black and small bits of gold just look really cool in general along with the blue crystal/gem-thingys he has in his head and chest

I never noticed this until now but he’s either always wearing gloves or just has black hands that fade or cut off into his purple scales for some reason and tbh both sound interesting to me

Fun fact that I also didn’t know: he’s the only Anacondri with an extended neck

I f—king love his and the Great Devourer’s pink eyes just 👌👌👌

Also his eyes turn reddish/pinkish after getting eaten by the Devourer and that’s also cool cuz it’s very vibrant(?) idk what the correct term is I just like it compared to his new white scales

I also really like how his black parts turned purple, and his design in general is just cool and how he kept all of that snek necc inside that smol hood will always be a mystery to me :/???

There’s also the fact that he’s technically the reason why Zane had to explode in season 3 BUT LETS NOT FOCUS ON THAT :D

I also liked how he was kinda redeemed in Season 4 with the Chen situation and stuff, how he nicknames a lot of things “Ronaldo” for some reason, and that he gets to grow back into his original size this shot really shows how much of a tall boi he is, also let’s just forget what happened in DOTD, ok? Ok 👌

Aka he’s just a fun villain character in general with him feeling like a Classic Disney villain like Ursula, Yzma, and, like I said before, Scar :}

Edit: I forgot to also mention that he also has eyeliner and that looks really nice 👌👌👌

but then you came after those two days, and he immediately comes up to you and questions you as to why you were absent

you just laugh and smile, telling him that you were sick (& tease him too) which he gets really flustered at and even blushes bc he missed you a lot bye

so then he confesses to you, and tells you that even if it was two days, it felt like forever and he just really missed you and wanted you to be by his side?? and you found that hella cute (also bc of his blushing face) so like uh,, ever since then the two of you started to date

you often supervise whenever giyuu has a class bc you know how rough he can be,, so you're just there in case anything happens

cue the students lowkey shipping the two of you too (& the two of you are HELLA oblivious about about, too)

he moves in to the apartment right across from you as your new "neighbor"

he also works as the cashier at the bakery you work at too!!

bc of that, naturally, the two of you got close

you thought he was v attractive and funny lmao,, you especially found his "flamboyant" catch phrase hella endearing too

and tengen was like: fUCK NO I CANT FALL IN LOVE W YOU YOU'RE MY MISSION!!

yeah right lmao bc he did end up falling in love w you. so he even asked you out (which ofc you said yes?? like bro tengen is literally the person of you're dreams)

but he reminded himself that he still had a mission to do, so he used it the fact that the two of you were dating to his advantage to find more about you (aka snooping)

you didn't really mind that + the fact that he asked lots of questions about you

but once he found out that you were completely clear, he was?? highkey happy and relieved, so he could date you comfortably without being paranoid lmao

The Pillars with Pets; Part 2 of the Modern AU

:D __ Mitsuri -so Mitsuri actually wanted a dog of her own so bad and took the first opportunity to get one -she adopted her bab from a shelter -originally, she was thinking more along the lines of a small, floofy dog -like a Pomeranian, maybe, or a poodle -but -b u t -look. The huge, ambiguously mixed dog was. Right there. And she had such big, sweet eyes. -‘twas love at first sight -Aki-chan is an older dog and has a limp, but she shares her owner’s zest for life -together, they’re so full of energy that it’s downright terrifying -but in the best possible way! -Aki-chan gives the best slobbery kisses. Aki-chan is always there to wake Mitsuri up with happy barking in the morning. They cuddle together at night. -Aki-chan is an absolute sweetheart but considering her sheer size, she acts as a very effective deterrent for folks who are just plain Not Nice to Mitsuri -it’s like…the dog has a sixth sense for when her owner is uncomfortable or sad -Mitsuri likes to knit sweaters for Aki in the wintertime -they don’t always fit quite right but it’s fun! -also bakes Aki dog treats at home -tends to want to share food with her; has to remind herself that feeding dogs human stuff isn’t generally that good of an idea -(however, Aki will inevitably end up getting a few tidbits when Mitsuri’s cooking/baking) -(only the stuff that’s ok for her to eat, though!) -also also Aki is exactly That Kind of dog, the type that you’d think only appears in animated movies -the type that matchmakes -she does that 101 Dalmatian thing to Mitsuri and this cute brunette dude they met at the park -(y’know, the whole “lol hoomans I am apparently the only one smart enough to notice the chemistry between you so I shall tie you together with my leash until one of you breaks”) Obanai: -I mean he canonically has a snek -Kaburamaru is a pure boy -Iguro first got his snake as a teenager, when he was still living with his family -it was the only true gift he was ever allowed from them -his home life…was not the best -he hated his parents and siblings and used to dream of the day he’d be able to leave -moved out as soon as he could afford it with Kaburamaru in tow -he loves his noodle all the more because snakes live long lives; Kaburamaru’s been with him through thick and thin, through all the bad times in his life -and Iguro moved out, he really was Iguro’s only friend -at this point, Iguro treats him more like a person than anything -he’ll sit next to Kaburamaru’s enclosure with a book in hand and chat to him about how ridiculous the plot is -will sometimes just let the snek boi out and let him wiggle around his neck while he does other stuff -hates social media but will post pics of the noodle -it’s all his Instagram has: -Aesthetic pics or cute videos of Kaburamaru just chilling -hates his neighbors and will answer the door with Kaburamaru on his shoulders + talking to the snake just to freak them out -kids in the neighborhood spread rumors that he’s a ~witch~ -he literally doesn’t give a damn as long as they leave him alone lmao -the reptilian equivalent of “Crazy Old Cat Lady” -funny thing is that he isn’t particularly fond of animals in general -Kaburamaru is, he’s decided, his first and last snake/pet -has heart attacks on the daily once he starts dating this really wonderful woman who owns a heckin dog, and a huge one at that. Iguro is not used to animals that shed. -also dog-proofed his house at first out of paranoia that Aki would eat his snek -(though he later warmed up to her and decided to trust that she probably wouldn’t lol) Uzui: -has two ferrets -one is cinnamon, the other is white -white bab is named Momo -cinnamon bab is named…Chanel -(can you guess who got naming rights on Chanel) -(hint: it was not one of Tengen’s wives) -the ferrets were bought because everybody in the household wanted a pet but nobody could agree on what animal they were going to get -(Tengen wanted a bird, Makio wanted a dog, Suma wanted a bunny and Hinatsuru wanted them all to shut up and actually do some research) -eventually, they somehow came up with a combination of the desired pet traits and decided that ferrets were the best fit -anyway Momo & Chanel are spoilt rotten -they live the most Expensive, most flamboyant lives a pair of ferrets could possibly live -Suma thinks they’re adorable and babies them -Makio loves how energetic and spunky they are -Hinatsuru is just quietly affectionate. It’s so cute to watch the rest of the family coo over them -Tengen considers them his children -he is the pet owner who dresses up for Halloween with them -(once he and the other three went as pirates with the ferrets as their parrots ack I hate that that rhymes lol) -and makes them Instagram famous -is probably considering dedicating a Youtube channel to them as well -it’s like -bruh -how obsessed could you possibly be with a pair of small furry slinkies -(very obsessed, apparently) -Chanel & Momo: *exist* -Tengen: fucking superb, you flamboyant little goblins :D -shows them off constantly to his friends -it was especially bad for the first couple of months after he got them -not that the showing off has died down over the years, the others have just…gotten used to his dramatics by now -tbh usually somebody (probably Hinatsuru) would stop him, but the other three are also too obsessed with their babies to be Mature about it Sanemi: -“Maybe I’ll get a dog,” Sanemi said to himself -“Other animals are kinda stupid and not my thing” -“Hi,” said Fate, dumping a betta fish in a plastic cup on his doorstep. “Will it work if I try to appeal to your soft side?” -Sanemi is r a g e -what kind of bastard just dumps a living fISH on a stranger’s doorstep -bro -wtf -he’s so angry -hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh -well, he keeps it in that plastic cup on his kitchen table, because he has *no clue* what to do with it -tries to call a few people and make them take it -fails -he stares furiously at the fish a little more before starting to feel uneasy because…can it…really survive in such a tiny cup -buys a cheap secondhand fish tank and some fish food that’s apparently for bettas -(Genya: no, see, this one’s specially for betta fish Sanemi: wtf is the difference) -posts stuff on social media “is there any sad shithead out there willing to take a stupid blue fish” -some people answer, Sanemi makes it clear that they have to chat with him first before coming to pick up the fish because he’s not a *monster,* he’s not gonna send the creature to a neglectful owner -turns out, he hates every single candidate. Or maybe he’s just…getting really knowledgeable about betta fish. Maybe he’s joined a group for first-time betta owners. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe he bought a new tank and new food and the betta is actually starting to look kinda perky and flashy -(Siamese fighting fish. It’s a fighting fish. It’s Fierce. Sanemi…does not dislike it. It’s kinda rad.) -Come to think of it. He did own stag beetles as a kid. Maybe dogs aren’t the only pets worth owning…? -the betta is eventually named Dragon, he gets a big tank, balanced diet, and a Marimo mossball friend, and Sanemi becomes a fish expert despite the fact that he swears this is “temporary” -(Shinobu, dropping by for lunch/to antagonize him: lmao right a ‘’’temporary’’’ tank that you decorated yourself and ‘’’temporary’’’ bloodworms in your freezer and ‘’’temporary’’’ smiling when you come home and your fish swims out to greet you) Himejima (warning: a little sad compared to the others. Some brief mentions of death/loss and grief) -has a seeing eye dog -she’s a black Labrador named Nana, and has been living with him for a few years now -they’re honestly a perfect match -Nana’s a sweet, steady dog and is good company for her owner -when she isn’t working, she’s pretty content to amble around the house and/or snuggle up to Gyoumei -having her has had a huge positive influence on him -he wasn’t exactly in the best state, emotionally, after losing his kids all those years ago -it took him a while to heal -and Nana’s presence grounded him throughout -she kept him from kind of shrinking into himself -at his darkest moments, Gyoumei might have preferred to reject help, even when his friends came to call -but Nana always barked happily and ran up to the door to welcome visitors -she’d whine and wake him up in the mornings -offer a ton of slobbery doggy kisses -it helped him open up again, little by little -Gyoumei is of the opinion that Nana was his main teacher in relearning how to trust people -he occasionally organizes playdates for her with Aki and Mitsuri -Mitsuri also knits matching sweaters for Aki and Nana -she sometimes throws in a sweater for Gyoumei, too -Nana is often bamboozled by Gyoumei when he prays or works out -hooman -hooman what are these strange and repetitive movements that you do -hooman why do you sit still with your hands together and ignore me -it’s kinda funny how she gets confused and starts sniffing Gyoumei or nudging him with her nose -though Gyoumei no longer truly requires encouragement to get out of bed in the mornings, Nana still makes a point of waking him up with kisses -and nuzzles -and doing this weird thing where she puts her paws on his cheeks like she’s trying to cup his face in her ‘‘‘hands’‘‘ lol -it coaxes a rare smile out of Gyoumei -Nana’s existence in general makes him smile

good news, sluts! my brain's no longer being completely stupid (only mostly), i've seen the new asides and...have some thought-y thot thoughts:

Okay, first things first: this art style is soooo fucking cUTE and I'm a jealous, squealing bitch. Anyone who knows who the artist is, could you link me to them, stat? I think Thomas mentioned them at the beginning of the ep, but nYeh, brain hurt, doesn't wanna do wooork-

Okay, I'll admit, I was a little...apprehensive when I first saw the thumbnail and title. Part of it's just me being a bitter Remus Stan, but also...okay, deep breaths, controversial opinion time, get ready:

I don't ship Prinxiety.

Like, at all.

I can see the appeal, and these dorks were so very, VERY cute in this particular ep, but I was honestly turned off by the ship long ago due to how overwhelmingly popular it is and how some fans characterize these two and treat this relationship as if it's the only valid one, y'know, the works—slight tangent, but that's also why I don't ship Logicality or Remile. I honestly vibe much better with ships like Roceit or Analogical, y'know?

Cutting in for another brief tangent: I'm surprisingly okay with Demus/Dukeceit/Receit/Trashnoodle/Whatever-Their-Ship-Name-Is-Oh-God-Why-Do-They-Have-So-Many-Fucking-Names; maybe it's cause they haven't actually interacted in canon and the fan content gives me such good Gay Disney Villain content, idk man im weird—).

Still, their interactions were both hilarious and sweet and like I said, I see the appeal, it's just not my cup of tea. y'all Prinxiety fans got fucking FED and I'm happy for you nerds. Enjoy ze happy boys!

I guess another factor in my...low-key hesitance when I first saw what the ep was about is that...okay, get ready, another controversial opinion, le gasp: well, I'm not a big Virgil fan. In fact, at times, he swaps places with Patton as my least favorite sides—especially with some of his recent behavior in eps like DWIT (the "prohibit your breathing comment" really triggered me, for example). Sometimes, his attitude, especially around other sides like Roman or Janus, reminds me a little too much of my sister, who I don't have...a very good relationship with. Add to that how the more...intense side of the fandom has a disturbing tendency to turn him into the 'uwu precious woobie emo baby who can do no wrong' while unnecessarily villainizing other CERTAIN sides in the process, and...I think you all see where I'm going with this little rant 😅

However, upon actually watching the ep, he wasn't...that bad? I don't think? I enjoyed watching him be a flustered, disaster-y mess and genuinely excited at the end, his interactions with Roman were nice enough, and him literally pushing Thomas to make a move with Nico despite his obvious panic attack was a nice moment of genuine character development. I like seeing that, that's the good shit right there. And him being all flustered and shit, and smiling so much at the end of the vid was just...well, adorable. This man has no fucking right to be this cute, my god

Have you ever watched SPOP? It's a She-ra revival show and it's all sorts of bad. I really love it but one of the main themes is abuse and growing away from it, along with showing different types. It was great till they fucking paired the main with her abuser. It got popular for being wlw and it's all sorts of fucked dude, this girl has legit tried to kill her multiple times and caused her to have nightmares. She reminds me a lot of Janus tbh, got redeemed too quick. "Cute cat girl!" "Snek boi!"

Oh yeah i watched that show.

He looked into your eyes as you sang, he could tell it was some sort of a love song, he smiled up at you and closed his eyes to savor every soft sound of your beautiful voice

He had often forgotten that you had come from a completely different place and that your customs and languages were so different from his.

You would often sing these songs in your native language when you were feeling homesick

And every time you did, he would envelop you in his warm and ask you about your life, childhood, and favorite memories. Sometimes there would be a few tears, but Nobunaga would always be there to kiss them away.

He loved to hear about your life before; he would shower you with love and kisses, he knew that you had sacrificed so much to stay with him

He loved to listen to you sing, and you were only to sing to him and no one else.

He loves to rest in your lap as you softly sing. Sometimes If you are feeling particularly homesick, the roles would be revered, and Nobunaga would now be the one gently playing with your hair and singing some of his native songs to you, to ease your homesickness a bit

Mitsuhide

You were busy cleaning up your and Mitsuhide’s shared room

Little knew how sentimental the sneaky snek was; he kept a box in his cupboard filled with precious trinkets for his past

In the box was a small trinket that Nobunaga had gifted him the first time, they met. You looked at it and was flooded with memories from your past and stories your parents and grandparents used to tell you

You parents were also sentimental creatures and kept a similar box in their cupboard and as a child, you would also always open it up and gaze in wonder at the contents inside

You remembered a particular item that was hidden in the box that you stole for yourself.

It was your dad’s army jacket embroidered with your family’s surname.

You used to wear that jacket everywhere you went. You remembered how you would even wear it when you and your brother would play war games. You smiled at the memory and couldn’t help but remember your dad’s favorite song, well, to be honest, it’s one of those songs that every Afrikaans person knows

Mitsuhide smiled as he walked into the room hearing his sweet mouse singing what sounded like a very passionate song in her soft voice

Once the song was done, he snuck up behind you and frightened you. He sat down, pecked you on the cheek, and looked over your shoulder to see what you were up to.

He could see you were feeling a bit homesick. He asked if you would sing him another song from your homeland.

You beamed up at him; you were feeling a little shy. “only if you don’t tease my terrible singing voice.”

“But my love, I love it when you sing so out of tune.”

You rolled your eyes and hit his chest

You softly started to sing another song from your homeland

“Well honey you're the reason

For the poet-inspired love affair

Honey this is treason

The king is gone, Rapunzel let down your hair.”

You smiled as this one was more of a love song to help lighten the mood a little

You spent the afternoon singing to Mitsuhide and reminiscing about the past

He would just sit and listen to your beautiful singing, occasionally giving you a flurry of kisses while gently stroking your soft, smooth hair.

He loved hearing stories of your childhood and family

Every so often, you would get a little homesick, but Mitsuhide would always be there listening to your stories and singing. He would hold you in his arms and remind you just how much he loves you.

TBH he has heard you sing a few songs so many times that he will join in on softly singing with you.

Kenshin

You were playing with the bunnies in the garden

The rabbit you were now petting in your lap was white with black ears and legs. The cutie reminded you of the bunnies you used to have back at home

You suddenly started thinking about home and your sweet buns

You used to sing to them all the time because they were an energetic bunch and would only come to you for a cuddle if you sang to them

Your family would often joke about how spoilt your bunnies were back at home

Feeling a bit nostalgic you decided to sing, to the bunny on your lap, hoping that the wind would somehow carry your voice to the ears of your bunnies back home (even if they were 500 years away)

“We leave to their goodbyes

I've come to depend on the look in their eyes

My blood's sweet for pain

The wind and the rain bring back words of a song

And they say wave goodbye….”

You softly sang a song heavy with sentimental memories

Kenshin walked in the garden hearing the wind carrying a soft whisper of a voice singing

He instantly recognized your voice

He stood and listened for a minute, not realizing a tear managed to escape and was now rolling down his cheek

He could hear the song sung carried so much emotion; he softly walked over to you

Plonked himself behind you and rested his chin on your shoulder while wrapping his arms around your waist

Kenshin wasn’t the only crowed you manage to attract with your singing as it seemed like the full army of fur balls was now at your feet, nudging your legs as if to say “don’t stop now, keep singing.”

You felt a little bashful; you had only ever really sung to your sweet bunnies, and with your mom in the car

Kenshin was now nudging your neck with his nose, like the rabbits.

You couldn’t help but smile, Kenshin is the bunny lord, after all, so singing to him would be like singing to your rabbits.

You continued to sing the whole afternoon, Kenshin love the sound of your soft voice

Since that day, Kenshin would often try and convince you to sing to him when his head rested on your lap. He would usually hum along to the tune of the songs

And every time you sang to him, the army of bunnies would gather and listen to your sweet singing while nuzzling you lovingly. It's hard to feel homesick when your new home is filled with so much love

DMBJ Explore with the Note Ep 2

Okay, I wasn't sure if I'd get to ep 2 today, but I need Iron Triangle shenanigans to cheer me up after the feels fest that was Train to Busan

So here we go! DMBJ S2 Ep 2!

- Opening with Wu Xie wandering around somewhere, so I'm guessing this is another dream/nightmare

- 'Somewhere' turns out to be a sunken ship

- Minus all the water

- I'm expecting a jump scare any moment now

- Not as bad a one as I expected, but still

- a wild Sanshu suddenly appears!

- This dream Sanshu being just as creepy as the dream Sanshu in the previous ep

- And just as murderous

- And now he wakes up thanks to Pangzi, and it's daytime now

- Looks like the storm is over, too

- OMG Pangzi that is not how you're supposed to meditate

- lol @ Wu Xie's confused reaction to it

- Hahah, A-Ning was not successful in hiding the booze from Pangzi

- Wu Xie, baby, I love your confidence here about there being no complicated traps, but it's entirely misplaced

- He definitely has to suspect that that's Xiaoge after the whole ghost ship thing, he wouldn't be giving that cute little smile otherwise

- Oh god, the English dubbing is so bad. The words and lips don't sync at all

- And it looks like her boss is a foreigner this time?

- This water is so murky

- This swimming around underwater making exaggerated gestures bit could have been much shorter than it is

- Like seriously

- It wouldn't be quite as bad if the water wasn't just this constant murky green so that you could actually see properly

- But as it is I'm mostly just looking at this dirty green screen with some shapes moving past sometimes

- I get padding out an episode, but it's been almost five minutes of this now

- Oh, at least now we're at least getting little flashes of Wu Xie recognising this stuff from his grandfather's notebook

- But still

- HURRY THE FUCK UP AND GET TO THE TOMB

- 5 1/2 mins before something even marginally interesting happens >.<

- Because apparently now the statue is opening its eyes. Maybe.

- Wait no, I counted wrong

- 7 1/2 MINS

- 8 1/2 mins before they get to any breaking and entering

- 8 1/2 mins to do what should have taken 2

- It wasn't even marginally interesting filler >.<

- Just....dirty green screen with some dark shapes, and the occasional close up on faces or wrist notepads

- And this knife is cutting through the mortar holding these bricks together suspiciously easily

- Oh, the evil hair is making its first appearance

- Evil Hair Count: 1

- Yes, touching it is a great idea! Well done!

- Oh, it scared it away this time

- Apparently, the evil hair being scared away is what triggers the brick door to automatically open for them

- Oh, I like this shot of the wetsuit hood almost looking like a hoodie hood. I'm not sure if that was intentional, but I still like it.

- SUDDEN CORPSE APPEARANCE

- Oh, sudden thing swimming real fast into/around them

- Most of this episode has just been...murky green

- Like. They've been in the water for 10 minutes so far. And the only important/interesting things that have happened have been finding Sanshu's stick, finding the statues that reminded Wu Xie of shit in the notebook, Wu Xie thinking the statue eyes opened, the appearance of the evil hair, the door opening, the corpse appearing, and now this thing swimming by them. All of which could have been done in, like, a third of the time.

- Since they all took only a few seconds each

- Oh, it was evil hair lady, who is now swimming away super fast when Pangzi shot at her.

- I'm amazed he could see clearly enough in the murk to even aim, tbh

- Oooh, dramatic music

- It would be nice if I could see clearly enough to know the reason for the dramatic music

- PANGZI. WU XIE. YOU HAVE NOTEPADS ON YOUR WRISTS.

- YOU DO NOT NEED TO TAKE OUT YOUR OXYGEN MOUTHPIECES TO TRY TO TALK UNDERWATER

- YOU ARE WASTING YOUR OXYGEN

- OH HI EVIL HAIR LADY

- I will make that Evil Hair Count: 2, because it was a lovely shot of her hair as well

- Oh, they've made that maelstrom-like tunnel the entrance to the tomb in the drama

- Oh god, the greenscreen

- I think Chongqi is the only one I've seen so far that does greenscreen even halfway well

- It took them 11 1/2 mins to get into the tomb

- An entire quarter of the episode was just them fucking around underwater where the viewer could barely see what was happening at the best of times

- Since the ep is 45 mins including opening and ending credits

- Oh, they've come out into the room with the pots, except it has a pool in it this time

- Sigh. Of course they gave A-Ning pink-accented gear.

- They all have a different colour on their goggles to tell them apart, but in the underwater stuff it was too dark to tell what colours she and Xiaoge had. Now that they're out of the water, I can see that hers is pink.

- And I'm like

- WHY

- PLEASE

- STOP

- Why are there spiderwebs in the underwater tomb?

- The babby zombie footprints!

- Yes, Pangzi, those tiny little footprints are Sanshu's

- Hahah, I love little shit Wu Xie

- Apparently spiders even have to be built into underwater ones. Either that, or spiders can now dive

- Maybe when they built the tomb, they made sure to have spiders in there. Which also means they had to ensure there was spider food in there.

- Oh, hey, in the drama they actually think to look inside the jar! But babby zombie is not in there this time.

- Oh, it was in one of the other jars instead

- Okay, time to follow the baby in the jar

- Oh, this hallway

- A-Ning is about to be a very bad girl

- Also, so many cobwebs

- So many

- I think that lends credence to the 'spiders were put here when the tomb was built and so have lived here for thousands of spider generations'

- WHY ARE ALL THE CANDLES LIT

- WHO LIT THEM SO RECENTLY THAT THEY'RE STILL BURNING

- I still can't get over them subbing 'Sanshu' as 'Uncle San'

- And random English because why not

- I was about to say the traps are stupidly obvious in this hall, then I remembered the Starfinder adventure I ran where the trigger was a giant mosaic on the floor that practically screamed 'trap' & the PCs just walked over it. And then were surprised when the trap triggered.

- Oh, here we go, A-Ning's about to do the thing

- Complete with evil villain smirk as she does so

- I wish there was better lighting in this hallway, because A-Ning's moves are amazing and I would like to be able to see them better

- Xiaoge Rescue Count: 2 for Wu Xie, 2 for protagonists, 3 for everyone

- Those are some wuxia-esque spinny moves from A-Ning there

- Nooooo, Xiaoge, don't leave Wu Xie there without you!

- I wondered how they were going to have Wu Xie get hit by them since Xiaoge stopped him from being hit by the initial shots

- Dammit, A-Ning

- I appreciate that Pangzi's first reaction is to run to check on Wu Xie

- Even though that got him shot himself

- lol, these two dummies sitting there screaming once they notice all the arrows that they hadn't noticed before

- Good Pangzi, showing off that you're actually smart by realising Something Is Up with these arrows

- "Does it feel this good to be shot to death?"

"I've never died before, I have no idea"

- Hahahah, waving the arrow to see it that would attract more firing

- Then oh so carefully peeking up over the edge

- Ah, finally Xiaoge reveals himself properly!

- That face mask is just ridiculous

- lol, Wu Xie's reaction

- Those wide puppy eyes

- lol, Xiaoge's little smirk at Wu Xie

- And again. THEY'RE SO CUTE I CAN'T

- Here we are at the first chamber switcheroo

- I wish they'd subtitle at least the important parts of Wenjin's notebook when Wu Xie reads it and gets clues

- They were good with subtitling the wrist notepads when they were aimlessly swimming around for 11 mins

- But nothing else

- "Do you have Alzheimers" OMFG, Pangzi

- Pangzi gonna Pangzi

- I seem to say something along those lines about all of the Iron Triangle

- But it's true

- Ahahah, Wu Xie's facial expressions when he's brushing off Pangzi here

- It's little shit Wu Xie all over

- Look, okay, flashbacks are fine and all, but does it have to be a flashback to the FUCKING GREEN MURKY WATER

- Okay, at least that part wasn't too long

- That container is not sealed, that paper should not have been dry

- Certainly not so dry that exposure to air made it crumble and blow away

- Professor Zhang?

- HOW WERE THE IMPRINT OF WORDS LEFT BEHIND IN THE DUST?!

- IDK why they needed two archaeological teams in this flashback

- Also, hi, flashback Xiaoge

- Hey, it's the copper snek fishy

- Oh, that was a good cliffhanger to leave this episode on!

- Xiaoge remembering that he has been there before

well that was a different episode than the trailer made it out to be. good though. wow so much all at once. i enjoyed seeing the ladies again.

THE RECAP ABOUT THE PIZZA THOUGH. like... it wasn’t textual in the episode, just made people Aware of the subtext?? which means regular people WILL BE NOTICING THE DESTIEL GOING FORWARD. OH BOY.

i’m too tired to have coherent thoughts but i enjoyed this!! i love jack and billie and i love how concerned dean was about dead!cas, and the other-sam-and-dean were funny but THEY’RE JUST?? OUT THERE IN THE WORLD NOW??

10/10 and i am intrigued about what’s coming next........

edit: so i just realised this was a bucklemming episode and THAT EXPLAINS MY WEIRD FEELING OF “i enjoyed this but something felt off”. like parts of this fell flat and felt like they skimmed potential rather than delving into it, and i was like hmmmm, but ignored the feeling bc i am just really fuckin tired. but yeah that explains the busty asian beauties thing too. i didn’t mention it bc ugh can’t be bothered. but yeah. adjusting my rating to 8/10 because it really does make a difference knowing the author’s intentions were questionable

Episode Gladio commentary!! Here i go!!

Kay so Gladio's episode is 'bout self discovery? dudes just pissed Ravus beat him I guess? I mean, fair enough but he leaves noctis and they go do like a dungeon and it's just?? It all seems really chill considering he's the Kings shield.

Okay so im guessing its gunna be like Gladio telling the story which i'll be playing- neato.

Sometimes I hate the combat in this game, not because I think it's bad,, just,, gladio,,, in enclosed spaces,, with lots of foes,, it's not good for camera angles.

Awhhh, i'm really happy for Gladio. I'm actually really happy with that whole DLC to be honest. It was fun to play and i feel i kinda got more of a look into Gladio's and Cor's characters and such, y'know? That, plus i got better at playing as Gladio too! And getting better at stuff like that is always good! Practice makes perfect after all!

So yeah, hope you enjoyed my commentary of Episode Gladio!

1. How did you help to destroy the patriarchy and capitalism last year?

I guess I’m too capitalist myself to be a Destroyer of Capitalism (I’m glad I currently have the money to afford buying some merch lmao), buuut I started wearing mini skirts + thermal leggings a lot more this year than I used to even though the female half of my family told me it was “not appropriate clothing” (which I’d call internalised patriarchic thinking).

2. Top 5 things that made you feel like you’re truly enjoying the life of the human body you’re possessing?

1. Sleep. I’m grateful I have no problems at all falling asleep, but sometimes I’ve got so much stuff to do that I need to cut the number of hours I sleep during the week, so getting enough of it really makes me happy. 2. Going swimming in lakes in the summer. Swimming is healthy and a very enjoyable way to spend the evening of a hot summer day. 3. Eating out with friends. It’s great to enjoy a good meal and interesting conversations at the same time. 4. Using the bike to get from A to B (as long as it’s not rainy - then biking is pretty uncomfortable). It’s healthy and sometimes even faster than using public transportation. 5. The new, elegant winter coat I bought after years of wearing down my beloved old coat that I bought in the UK once.

3. What was the most disgusting food you ate last year? And the tastiest drink?

I don’t remember eating any really disgusting food last year. The tastiest drink... I actually don’t remember that either, but I certainly drank lots of nice drinks. (When I say that, I mean non-alcoholic ones. If it was only alcoholic beverages, it would probably be the dry red wine a friend shared with me and a few others last summer.)

4. What did you learn about yourself last year? A fact that blew your mind like Dobby blows Hagrid’s… nevermind

5. How many cats/dogs/sneks/¿people? did you befriend last year?

No animals, a few people.

6. Did you wake him up before you went-went?

Since my love life is non-existent, the only person to whom that could apply is the friend I visited last summer, and it would have been pretty useless not to wake him up before I went-went because I needed him to drive-drive me to the train station.

7. What is the meaning of life?

42, apparently. But honestly? To find something for yourself in order to give it meaning for you.

8. 53+79= ?

132. You know, 9 + 3 = 12 and 50 + 70 = 120. Then you just have to add 120 + 12 = 132. Elementary school stuff, easy to calculate in your head.

9. Where was your best kiss/hug/intercourse of the year? For single/ace guys: What was the most obnoxious way you ate breakfast? (You can answer both!)

I’m demisexual, which is on the ace spectrum, and also single, so I’m taking the second option: I suppose the times when I took my breakfast to my desk and ate it while listening to an audiobook before starting to work? I’m not really an obnoxious eater tbh, but my mum sure would have disapproved.

10. What do you want to change about yourself in 2020? (No stupid resolutions but genuinely, what do you wish for?)

Getting more organised in order to get more stuff done in less time, get enough sleep, and also get some spare time to write (which includes writing fanfics, commenting on my friends’ fanfics and messaging them/writing to them).

11. What do you want to stay the same?

My flat. I need to tidy up all my paperwork some more, but other than that, I love it.

12. What reminded you of your childhood last year?

Visiting my parents, I suppose? Of course the desk where I did all my homework and my old room remind me of my childhood.

13. T o p 5 b o o k s & s e r i e s / f i l m s

In terms of series, it’s definitely Good Omens (the novel is great, too!) and Vinland Saga (the anime, but the same goes for the manga which I’m also reading). In terms of books ... I started reading Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels (partly again, partly for the first time) after watching the Good Omens mini series, and my favourites so far are Wyrd Sisters, Hogfather, and Going Postal. I actually don’t remember which books exactly I read in the beginning of last year (and which ones in 2018 already), so the selection is a bit limited... ^^"

14. Did you try anything new for the first time? Everything counts, even drinking from 2 straws at once.

I don’t think so? But maybe I just don’t remember right now.
