Trauma-Punk (Coining)
Concept
An aesthetic and social group/movement focused on trauma survivors of any and all kinds. You have gone through hell and back and you are allowed to be loud, angry, aggressive, and selfish. Traumapunk is for all the unsavory survivors who don’t fall into society's ideal victim mold. It’s taking back the power from times you could not before, it’s being independent and self assured, it’s saying fuck you to the system that allowed your traumas to occur, saying fuck you to the abusers you may have had. You don’t have to be quiet or docile, you can be loud and aggressive.
All trauma survivors matter, and the discrimination and biases we face on a daily basis should no longer go ignored. This is a movement for all the cluster-b disordered people, all the people with PTSD, all the people with DID/OSDD, and any other trauma induced disorders. Everyone with the “wrong” reaction to their trauma and everyone who has decided they will no longer take anyone's shit.
All trauma survivors can be a part of this, regardless of disorders or the lack thereof. Your trauma no matter how big, no matter how small, is valid.
Trauma Punk Flag
Tumblr media
[Image ID: The trauma-punk flag, consistent of 7 stripes which are reflected horizontally. The stripes go as follows; Dark Sienna, Rosso Corsa, Old Brick, Carousel Pink, Old Brick, Rosso Corsa, and then Dark Sienna. The flag is all tinted towards a redish color. End ID]
The flags colors all have their own meaning
Dark Sienna: All the negative feelings and emotions that comes from having experienced trauma, the feeling of being alone.
Rosso Corsa: Anger towards what happened, having to fight to survive. Not being docile.
Old Brick: Any and all people with socially unacceptable reactions to their traumas- including disorders, temperament shifts, and being untrusting of others. (Separate from anger).
Carousel Pink: Recovery and healing
This flag is free to be used and never requires any credit.

Anti/Against
Ableists
“Narcissistic/Histrionic/Borderline/Sociopathic” Abuse
The abuser made their choice, having a disorder will never make someone be an abuser, that abusive person CHOSE to be evil. Your anger should be at them, not fellow trauma survivors.
Trauma Comparison
All traumas are valid, some may be harder to deal with than others but we are still all survivors.
Sanists

You never know what someone is going through it is not your place to decide if they have a disorder or not

Weirdpunk
A punk movement based around being weird and encouraging being weird (in a way that doesn't harm anyone).
I'm autistic, have PPD, and OCD. These carry what neurotypicals deem, "weird traits." They make me act "weird", talk "weird", dress 'weird', etc etc.
I have identities that may be deemed "weird." My speech and writing patterns follow a non-normative vocabulary.
I have "weird" disorders, disabilities, and identities alongside many factors. I've been called weird multiple times. However, now? I take fucking pride in that shit. I take pride in being weird.
Encouraging being weird includes non-conforming of trying to be "normal" and rather accepting the weird, funky side of yourself. Also, accepts cringe, "flop" things, and more. It heavily goes against the stigma that those with traits that make the individual "weird" should either be sugar-coated or the individual should rather try to "fit in" and erase their "weird" traits. Rather, instead, it encourages that the individual loves the traits for how they are, as they are a part of themselves.

Rosepunk
(PT: Rosepunk. End PT)
Tumblr media
Rosepunk or Paxipunk - A punk ideology that is explicitly anti-nazi, anti-imperialism, pro-LGBTQ+, pro-decolonization and anti-zionist, but also completely anti-harassment and anti-violence with the exception of self-defense. Put simply, do no harm but take no shit. Rosepunk ideologies and stances are as follows:
-Pro-LGBTQ+, including all good faith identities. -Pro-BLM, Pro-Land Back, Anti-Imperialism/Colonisation, Anti-Fascist and Anti-Zionist/Anti-Ethnostate. -Pro-Feminist, but is against Radfem Ideology and TERFs. -Sex positive and believes consent is key. -Supportive of Sex Workers, but against the SW and Porn Industries and their exploitation of sex workers and pornstars. -Pro-Alterhuman and Otherkin, including Fictionkin and Factkin. --Neutral on KFF. -Pro-Endo and Pro-Non-Traumagenic Systems. -Supportive of all religions, but very much against religious cults and against using religion to spread hateful and harmful ideology -Pro-veganism, but supportive of those who cannot become vegan for any reason. -Shipcourse and Fandom Discourse unaligned for the most part, but Rosepunk is against the fetishization of abuse in fiction. -Anti-Radqueer. -Mostly Anti-TransID, but does support the reclaimation of terms such as "Transage", "Transabled" and "Transracial", which were stolen terms anyway. -Pro-Paraphile, but anti-contact for harmful paraphilias. -Anti-violence with the exception of self-defense. -Everyone should do research on a certain subject before taking a stand. -Rosepunk does not believe in black and white thinking, and believes that nuance and gray areas are important. -Of course, Anti-Capitalist -Pro-recovery.
-And, last but not least, Explicitly anti-harassment. Rosepunk's belief is that no matter what bad things someone did, they don't deserve to be sent suicide bait, death threats and/or other harassment.

AROPUNK
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Calling myself aropunk from now on tbh. Aropunk can encompass many experiences; it is for people who feel aropunk describes their relationship with aromanticism/romantic attraction. For me it's because I find the concept of romantic attraction stupid (particularly bc no one has a solid definition on what it IS, it's different and personal for each person...) and completely reject it. But for another, it may be because they reject how amatonormative society treats them for being aromantic, for example.
someone may have coined aropunk before but I couldn't find anything like that so! doing it myself lol
[Image descriptions: left is a flag with 5 horizontal stripes that are blue, mint, yellow, light green, and green. there is an black anarchy symbol on the flag with the letters R and O beside it, spelling out ARO. That is in the center of the flag. The flag to the right is the flag without the text. End of description.]

Attentionpunk (coining post)
Tumblr media
Alt flags:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Attentionpunk is a label intended to reclaim ways in which people are maligned for wanting attention, assumed to be doing something 'for attention', discriminated against for having hpd(histrionic personality disorder), being seen as faking being queer for attention, and other similar experiences!
One does not need to have hpd to use this label, although it is important to note that I have hpd and that influenced my coining of this term.
One way attentionpunk can be is a way to say 'So what if I'm doing it for attention? Am I not allowed to want attention?' Or other ways of reclaiming the ways in which society uses the idea of or actually wanting attention to malign or otherwise negatively view people.
-Firelight
(disclaimers and info on who can be included in this term under the cut - some discourse things namely syscourse, other disorders such as factitious disorder, are mentioned for the purpose of making the intentions of this term clear. If there is/are (a) discourse point(s) not mentioned, that is intentional and we ask that you do not discourse in any way in the notes)
[sysmeds/anti endos, ableists, exclusionists, and 'narc abuse' truthers DNI]
[I wanted to note that this term is inclusive of things like factitious disorders, drug addiction, etc. And we will not tolerate any hatred of ppl w such disorders or any other such group on this post, or tolerate any ideas of "weeding out fakers/attention seekers".
Any ableism will not be tolerated on this post or in this movement/label. If you believe 'narcissistic abuse' or similar exists you are not welcome to interact.
This term does not encourage doing actual harm or holding harmful or bigoted views (as in actual abuse, grooming, racism, anti-theism, antisemitism, or such). It is inclusive of good faith identities, people who experience violent urges they don't condone, any disorders that lead to faking, etc. If anyone w those identifies with this term.
If you can't behave at least neutrally toward such groups and/or if you misconstrue them as inherently actively causing harm, you're probably better off not using this label]
[Anyone can use this term but do know that we strongly support endogenic systems and anyone who does not completely support endogenic and/or nondisordered plurality can fuck off and please avoid interacting. This label is fully intended to include endogenic plurals who id w it and our blog supports endogenics.
I am mentioning this as I, someone w cluster b disorders, have seen the cluster b community on here have a significant number of sysmeds and anti-endos, and we don't want your rhetoric here.]

Linguistic Anarchy
[PT: Linguistic Anarchy /end PT]
Linguistic Anarchy is a subset of descriptivism (the idea that following linguistic rules is not always strictly necessary, read more about it on the wikipedia page) that emphasizes the bending or ignoring of linguistic rules to create more inclusive and accommodating language for queer people (especially neopronoun users) and preserving and recording language in an effort to oppose colonization.
Tumblr media
[ID: A flag with three equal horizontal stripes. In descending order, the stripes are faded orange, faded yellow, and faded blue. The lower half of the flag is covered by a black triangle. In the center of the flag, there is a black circle with a white outline. In the middle of the symbol is a birdlike creature. End ID.]
The illustration in the center is a wug, which you can read about here.
Linguistic anarchy supports:
neopronouns, nounself pronouns, and emojipronouns
decolonization
degendering of language as needed
typing quirks with translation provided for accessibility
being accommodating and patient with people of neurodivergencies that make spelling and/or language difficult (i.e. dyslexia)
being accommodating and patient of those with OCD or similar who may feel the need to correct grammar or spelling
reclaiming slurs
normalization of Ebonics and similar
learning languages for communication or educational purposes (cultural appreciation)
Linguistic anarchy does NOT support:
spreading misinformation or disinformation about preexisting linguistic rules or concepts (i.e. folk etymologies)
getting rid of languages
misusing slurs or other offensive, marginalizing, and/or culturally appropriative language
prescriptivism
capitalism and associated concepts
bigotry
tagging @radiomogai (idk if this completely fits sorry)

Labpunk
Tumblr media
[ Image ID: A seven striped flag. Each stripe comes in three sizes: thick, medium, and thin. The first stripe is thick, the second stripe is medium, the third stripe is thin, the fourth stripe is thick, the fifth stripe is thin, the sixth stripe is medium, and the seventh stripe is thick. The color order of the stripes are dark grey, medium red, white, jade green, white, medium red, and dark grey. End ID. ]
Labpunk is a rejection of the ideas that you’re something to be studied, observed, looked at, etc. It is a denial of the things that people use to dehumanize someone for simply just existing. It encompasses the refusal to accept that you’re merely a thing to look at, and the passion that you deserve to be treated normally and the love and support you know you deserve.
The name Labpunk comes from denying the concept that you are a lab experiment, denying to be an experiment to be observed. It rejects the idea that there can be “failures” in human biology, and it rejects the idea of “perfection” and “imperfection” in humanity.
Labpunk fights for and believes in unique individuality, that human biology cannot be right or wrong, acknowledges that many minorities are “supported” on the basis of people simply wanting to observe them, and most importantly, it fights for and believes that we are nothing less than deserving of respect, love, and care.
The dark grey in the flag represents our power to be heard and our strength through being able to live through our experiences and grow past what others believe of us and into what we believe about ourselves. The red represents our passion to be treated how we deserve and our passion for our voices to be heard. The white represents the healing found when denying these external views of us and our personal acceptance and love. The green represents community.
There are no restrictions or rules on who can or cannot use Labpunk: if you feel like this term applies to you in any way, feel free to use it!
