“Popular” quotations?
You know, it wasn’t two hours ago that I was telling a friend about how “He who writes prose builds his Temple To Fame in rubble; He who writes verses builds it in granite”. Then, wouldn’t you know it, I went to the library book sale and picked up a book of Popular Quotations For All Uses from 1942 that describes my feelings perfectly
I still don’t understand what the quote means. Much obliged if anyone can help :)
