begging people to realize polysexual is not synonymous with polyamory in the slightest and to stop putting posts that have nothing to do with polysexuality in the polysexual tag.

polysexual is the attraction to many, but not all, genders.

polysexual does not mean being attracted to multiple people at once (though individual polysexuals can be polyamorous).

polysexual has a long history alongside terms like pansexual and bisexual and can be found in many important queer texts related to multisexual identity from the 20th century, please stop erasing us and using our language to describe something it was never meant to describe.

A friend of mine is polyromantic but is oblivious to that fact. Any ideas on how we can fix that so he can start looking for a thrupple to be a part of?

This is actually very sweet and I might sound like I'm flip-flopping between positions on this one but... Also maybe let them figure themselves out at their own rhythm? TwT Wanting to help on that is a very sweet gesture, but trying to force romantic (or such) relationships to happen amongst real people vs it happening naturally has always sounded like an odd concept to me... Of course, that might also be the aroace in me talking, since I know for example dating apps are a thing and stuff, so it might just be me being clueless and thinking everything can and should always happen naturally/unforced when THAT doesn't necessarily work for everybody, but... Yeah, that's my opinion on that I guess TwT Sorry if I'm not very helpful
