i've always hated love triangles because it doesn't make any sense, like a love triangle isn't two people in love with the same person because that is not a triangle, an actual love triangle should be person a is in love with person b, person b is in love with person c and person c is in love with person a, that is an actual triangle, also I've come up with a few endings to love triangles, 1. the main character realized they're aromantic(or aroace) and the two other people who are in love with the mc realized they were actually in love with each other so mc gets to live a happy life alone and the two other people get to live a happy life together, 2. the three of them end up in a polyamorous relationship, 3. they all just move on from each other and/or continue being good friends with each other.

i genuinely enjoy polyamorous ships in death note. and by that, i genuinely enjoy nearlymellodramattic. they're cute. it's wholesome. it could work out in a 'after death note..' scenario, if the other two somehow managed to live.
maybe it's just me but i think a romantic dynamic between these three guys would be really wholesome and cute. (assuming mello would grow balls and get over his competitive inferiority complex shenanigans)
i don think a three person relationship should just be all about sex or threesomes, or whatever. i like to think of it just a group of friends who're sickeningly inlove with eachother ... or something.

My nesting partner not only suggested we get another proper bed in the spare room so we can stay up with other partners and not wake one another, they've also put on the table the idea of them and my other partner sleeping in the same bed all together with me in the middle and I'm *squirm* totally not freaking out about how adorable that is aaaaaaah
UPDATE: IT HAPPENED.
My heart was beating so fast, makin little jokes to ease the weirdness as the three of us nestled down for the night.
Had an obscenely dry mouth all night, and didn't get much sleep, but we had lots of adorable footsies, and hand holding, and nuzzles, and I am positively vibrating with love right now.
