Something something, Bruce accidentally keeps adopting his friends' wards. It doesn't sit well with his kids.

Diana's been training Yara for a little over a year. She's scrappy, brave, and unafraid to stand up for herself against the world. She reminds Bruce of a dearly beloved Ghost, and even dearer son.

" Oh wow. You're, uh. You're Batman. Love your work. I mean, Princess Di says you should take it easier since mortals don't fight gods, but it's so cool to me that you do. My mom died too! ...Sorry. Can you sign my pegasus?"

"...For?"

" Jerry. I mean, -- Yara! Sorry."

" Meeting new people isn't exactly my forte. It's fine. Is my training plan working for you? We can adjust it together."

"Oh! Well, I have some cool ideas,-"

For some, emotion gets lost when it comes to Batman. They see a wall of stone and tragedy, nothing beyond a twitch of lips reminding them there's a man wearing the cowl, not the other way around.

Dick's mouth is hanging open as he watches the blank expression on Bruce's face, patient with the excitable rambling in front of him. He rarely looks so happy on patrol.

"He smiled at her!"

Damian is very stubborn. He just won't accept it. Not even with the evidence of Diana's student taking a stream of selfies with his Baba, where he even smiles in one of them!

" Don't be ridiculous, Grayson. That's reaching a new low of stupid, even for you."

" Okay, one. I'm a very capable detective who thought YOU the robin ways. If I'm an idiot, you're an idiot."

" ...TT."

" Second... It wouldn't hurt to be home more often. I think he's lonely."

Damian frowns, " Baba deserves better than pity scraps. And you deserve better than forcing yourself to be here when you're not ready. It's unfair to you both."

"...Maybe I'm not an idiot after all."

The real challenge? The superboys.

"It's not that serious, Dames."

" Not that serious?!" Damian hisses when he's sad, it's a well known fact, " He put MY stickers on your bandages. You don't even NEED bandages!"

Jon shrugs, maybe, perhaps, intentionally flaunting the pink dragon stickers on his wrist. Accepting to arm wrestle Cass had been a bad idea, " It's a nice gesture."

Damian points a finger at him, then calms himself with a hollow breath, " I'm going to walk away. My therapist would be extremely proud of me."

But the bets were off when Jason visited.

"...What's your boy toy doing in my room?"

Tim drags a hand over his face as Kon whistles a marry tune, lounged comfortably on Jason's bed like a spoiled cat, " Dad Invited him over for dinner."

" I just figured it'd be nice to settle in! Since I'll be moving in soon and all," Kon smiles very smugly, " Bruce needs someone around since you just hate being here so much. You don't mind, right?"

" You know," Tim figures he should at least try to stop the slaughter, " I think Alfred's cookies are done. Let's go check."

Jason's radiating murder, " I think it's time for you to go home."

" Oh, I'd really love to see you make me."

Tim discovers Kon is immune to bullets, but not to being crashed through a wall.

Honestly, I don't see him being jealous of his brothers at all! But since I haven't read all of his comics and in this AU he is a mix, I don't have an opinion. 👀

Let us begin.

I feel like Dick is a real mama's boy, he love his mom and he will prove it.

Dick is very used to having all of Batmom's attention to himself.

But he hides his jealousy very well, or so he thinks…

Jealousy began when Dick started having siblings. DON'T DENY ME GIRL 🤝🤝!!!

When he gets jealous that you spend more time with, I don't know, he'll go to sleep with you and Bruce, but leaving Bruce aside and enjoying your caresses in his hair while he listens to his siblings complain from outside the bedroom. (Bruce hate this, but I feel that at the same time he love it just a little bit. Very little.)

Possibly he will also rub things you did with him that you didn't do with your other children in his siblings' faces.

I think he is the only one (along with Jason) who has a complete album with photos of him as a child. So he'll show it off to others by saying that you loved him so much that you made an entire photo album of him.

He would do the same with Jason, telling him that his album has more photos and with more photos of you and Dick.

I feel like he would start a whole fight against one of his brothers just to carry all the shopping bags by himself so you don't do it. (This idea is similar to "Jason Todd is a total mama's boy" because I was inspired by it, so credit to its respective author 💓)

Another drama queen...

A mama's boy from head to toe. (My poor baby just needed a fucking mother figure 😭💔)

He is first in everything. Do you need help opening a jar? He already opened it for you and said I love you and then left and returned to a mission.

But that's not what we're talking about right now... Nonono, we're talking about jealousy, guys...

I bet he's the most sensitive of all.

He makes sure you don't show favoritism to anyone, unless it's him, if so he lets it go.

Did you spend an extra minute with one of your other children because you didn't see the time? He is already burning in a pit of jealousy.

I feel like he would start fighting with his sibling and then he would apply the law of silence to you. But it doesn't last long because he can't resist your cute nicknames and your "you're my favorite" (you say that to each of your babies)

"Why do you call him "son"? He isn't even your son!" And he gives you a whole long speech when you were just trying to be nice to Roy.

He even gets jealous of Bruce.

He doesn't care if it's one of his sisters or a good friend of his, you can't call them cute nicknames! And even less if they are the ones you use with him!

He has good hearing, he makes sure that you call him by his nicknames and not by one of his siblings' nicknames.

"WHAT THE FUCK, MA?! Why are you washing Tim's hair with the shampoo you use with me!?!?" You broke him...

Tim Drake / Red Robin

( I haven't read almost anything by Tim, so forgive me if something doesn't add up, but I promise you that I already have more or less what his personality is like.)

Tim does not admit his jealousy, he is calmer compared to his brothers.

He might start scheduling his patrols to coincide with Batmom’s free time, ensuring that he gets to spend some time with her.

I feel like he would feel more insecurity than jealousy

But I also think he would try to take Batmom's attention away from his sibling by calling Batmom to help him do something he can easily do alone.

He wouldn't care if you treated his friends like your children. I think he would be happy.

Umh Well… I think there's not much to jealousy about this one...

Damian Wayne / Robin

Yes, I headcanon that Damian is one of the most jealous once he realizes that Batmom can give him the love that Talia didn't give him.

He is the same as Jason, he has the same percentage of jealousy.

The only thing is that he would start making arguments about why Batmom would have to spend the whole week with him and not with her brothers.

Oh, and he doesn't care what Bruce does with Batmom. Although he is disgusted by the slightest affection they have.

At galas, I feel like he would be glued to you, hugging your waist and making sure there is no threat.

If you're not patrolling, he'd be with you watching some movie. (I DON'T KNOW WHY I IMAGINED HIM WATCHING MEAN GIRLS)

"I say mom Is going to go with me first because I'm the best-" And then he was interrupted by his siblings.

There is a relationship of hate and equality between him and Jason…

"Don't you see that my mother has an engagement ring and I'm next to her, son of a- *you interrupt him*" I feel like he would say this to anyone who flirts with you.

He is not understanding why his siblings get to spend more time with her.

Cassandra Cain / Orphan

Cassandra, being the quiet and observant one, might internalize her feelings of jealousy.

Cass is the last one to get jealous, honestly.

She understands that Batmom loves them all equally and there is no favoritism.

Although sometimes she doubts…

She would feel excluded every time she sees you spend more time with one of her siblings.

But putting that behind, she would know that you love them all equally and would let it go by speaking with you how she feels.

0,1% jealous.

Stephanie Brown / Spoiler

Depends…

I think she would feel jealous if Batmom shows favoritism towards others.

In itself, I don't think Steph is VERY jealous. Just... a little bit.

Duke Thomas / The Signal

I need to read more about this man 😭

He's the newest one in the batfam, but he was still able to connect with Batmom very well.

Duke is not one to be jealous, he just doesn't care what batmom does.

Although he is a similar case to Cass.

He would feel a little "insecure" seeing the ties Batmom has with his siblings.

But it always ends well with Batmom watching a movie with him.

The crowd lets out a gasp as they watched Finn send a punch to Damian following their loss between Jay Uso and Cody Rhodes. In Finn’s eyes, it was Damian who made them lose. Doesn’t matter who pinned who, doesn’t matter who was hurt, it was Damian. Finn was seeing red as his other fellow judgment day members watch him attack Damian.

“Take him down!” Finn demanded his other fellow Judgment Day members. JD and Dom immediately rush into action as Finn throws Damian into the ring and they all jump him.

Damian tried, he really did. Knowing he had a bigger advantage with him being taller, he tried using that to his advantage but due to the injuries he has before the backstab, it was proven difficult. He lays on the mat, covering as much as he can as he gets kicked down by his ex-members.

Rhea laughs and climbs into the ring with a chair, “You disappointed us Damian.” She tsked as she walks over to him, making the other three men pull away to give her some space, “Your outta here, mate.” Rhea raises the chair to hit him with it but is stunned when she is suddenly DDT.

The crowd cheers as Y/n hits Rhea with a mid air ddt, coming to Damian’s rescue. She gets back on her feet and swings a kendo stick at the three men before getting out the ring, dragging Damian out with her. She lets him put some of his weight on her as she leads him away from the ring and backstage.

Y/n watches as Damian trashes the medical room in anger. She knew this backstabbing was gonna happen eventually. She had warned him countless of times but he would always brush her off or defend them. She was debating whether or not she should say a smart comment, but she deadpans as she watches him sit down, feeling the frustration rubbing off him.

“I told you so.” Y/n bluntly said without holding back. She immediately purses her lips at her bluntness, watching him glare at her, “My bad…” she clears her throat.

“Why’d you save me?” Damian suddenly asks her, looking up at her with an unreadable expression.

Y/n raises her eyebrow, “Cause you’re my friend?” She questioningly says.

“To rub it in my face right? Cause that’s what you like to do right?” Damian slowly stands up and Y/n watches as he saunters over to her.

“Yup.” Y/n answers nonchalantly.

He wants to play that game? Fine, let’s play it.

Damian’s hard expression falters a bit and he gives up on trying to play. “When did you see the signs?”

“Ever since you fucked up Finn’s opportunities.” Y/n says, walking over to him and forcing him to sit down. She goes and grabs an ice pack and lays it on his face.

“I didn’t fuck up his opportunities.” Damian glares, “I just…got there at the wrong time.” He shrugs.

“Sure you did.” Y/n shakes her head, “What are you gonna do now?” She finds herself asking.

Damian sighs and shakes his head with a shrug, “I don’t know…”

“A thank you is appreciated you know?” Y/n narrows her eyes.

Damian gives her a side glance and opens his mouth to speak only to be cut off by the medical room door being open and they look over to see Adam Pearce walk in.

“You ok?” Adam asks Damian who gives him a harsh stare, “Taking that as a no…” Adam says awkwardly. It’s an awkward silence before he looks over at y/n, “I expected a lot of things, but I sure as hell didn’t expect you to save him. Of all people.”

Y/n shrugs, “He’s my friend.” Y/n answers like it was the simplest answer of all.

“Who chose the Judgment Day, over you?” Adam raised an eyebrow.

Y/n narrows her eyes, “My option for choosing Smackdown as my roster, is raising up by 90%.”

Adam raises his hands up in surrender, “Sorry sorry sorry.” He apologizes, “Just thought you’d hold a grudge.”

“I do…which is why I mocked him.” Y/n smiles

“Yo soy aquí you know.” Damian says, annoyed.

They ignore him as Adam and Y/n get in their own convo, “What you did out there? It’s worth telling something,” Adam starts, “I want to add on to it, I just wanna see if you’re ok with that? Both of you.” Adam motions towards Damian.

“What is it?” Damian questions.

“Mixed tag team match between Finn and Rhea.”

“And their opponent, Damian Priest and Y/N Y/L/N!” The announcer announces Damian and Y/n as they both walk down the ramp. Damian with revenge in his mind and fun for y/n. This match was the talk for the whole weekend for the Wwe universe. It was even trending. Everyone was excited for this match and had high expectations for it.

Damian and Y/n both get in the ring and immediately Damian and Finn go at it with each other before the match even started. Seeing this, Rhea takes her chance at y/n who immediately dodges her and starts getting at her as well.

The referee tries rushing the two woman out of the ring to start the match between the men knowing their already hungry to fight as it is.

Rhea rushes out of the ring as soon as she realizes who has the upper hand and watches as the ref yells at Y/n to get out of the ring.

“Yeah yeah yeah.” Y/n dismisses the ref before getting out and on their side, making the ref be able to start the fight completely.

The match moves on rather quick for the crowd but very slow for the superstars. The only way to stop the men from fighting was Finn always needing to tag in Rhea whenever he got tired of fighting Damian but that method never worked as Damian would always take it outside of the ring and fight him there. Y/n could feel the anger and betrayal vibrate off of Damian as he sends Finn either flying and or dropping. She’s pretty sure the whole arena could dam near feel it.

Finn tags Rhea quickly and rushes out of the ring as he starts playing cat and mouse with Damian outside of the ring while the woman fight. Y/n gets inside the ring and both her and Rhea start sending blows at each other, getting multiple reactions out of the crowd. Before Y/n even has time to send a punch, she watches with wide eyes as her arms get under Rhea’s and finds herself being positioned into a riptide.

“Riptide!” Michael Cole says through his headset as the crowd watches Rhea slam Y/n down on the mat and goes to pin her.

Finn rushes inside the ring, making Rhea rush over and stand in front of him so Damian can’t get to him. Damian sucks in a breath when he gets face to face with Rhea who laughs in his face and waves at him.

“Ha Ha!” Rhea laughs loudly in Damian’s face, “Do something Priest. Do something!” She mocks him with a smirk.

Damian stares Rhea down with a harsh glare as he glances between Rhea and Finn. Suddenly, Damian starts smirking as he raises his hand up and mockingly waves at Rhea who looks over at Finn with a raised eyebrow before she lets out a shout as she is hit with a midair ddt, again.

Finn backs up immediately as he looks at the two partners with wide eyes. Y/n slowly stands up, keeping eye contact with Finn as Damian gets out of the ring and holds his hand out.

“Good luck.” Y/n smiles before tagging Damian in. “Your gonna need it.”

Finn turns around to run towards his spot but doesn’t see Rhea and looks out the ring to see Rhea getting a beat down by y/n who makes sure she knows her place and stay there so she and Damian can catch the win. Finn slowly turn towards Damian who runs at him and slams him down on the mat as the crowd watches Finn get up only to get knocked down repeatedly.

Finn gets up and dodges the hit that’s about to get at him and sends a punch towards Damian who immediately blocks it and twirls Finn around, getting Finn’s head in between his arms as he claps and hits The Reckoning on him. Damian gets down and pins him as the crowd counts.

“1! 2! 3!” The bell rings as Y/n slides into the ring and jumps on Damian’s back. “Here is your winner, Damian Priest and Y/N Y/L/N!”

Y/n gets down from his back as the referee raises their arms up before moving away to check on Rhea and Finn.

“Thank you.” Damian leans down and whispers in y/n’s ear making her give him a smirk before nodding.

“I got your back.”

sigh. to my fucking sorrow I've spawned in a new one very recently, so here you go... 💞🤝💖👑💍 it's funny, because in my head I consider this a Classic Damian Trope in terms of what kind of au it is, but I don't think I've ever posted this trope before? just daydreamed about it with every single fandom I've been in? (except fire emblem I guess, but it's kinda hard to make that kind of au with it because it basically is one already...) we'll see if I actually post this one I guess!

well YOU obviously bunni <5 okay actually Don't Bother Calling (I'll Call You) by FallacyFallacy is my favorite fanfic of all time. it's so good I don't even care that it's in first person, which would usually make me click off instantly. it's such a genuine exploration of being aromantic, how it feels to be perceived as allo when you aren't, it's SO SWEET it makes me want to cry every time I read it. which I do. a lot. even if you don't know shit about jughead jones it should be read by everyone 💖💖

bad question to ask me because I just forget shit allllll the time. hm... I guess I did do a lot of digging into appletinis relatively recently. I just needed to know about what kind of alcoholic drinks are made with apples for a totally normal reason.

Because what else was he supposed to do? He certainly wasn’t set to inherit anything himself, being fifth in line for the throne. And compared to the younger two younger than him, Beel was the strongest fighter their kingdom had ever seen, and Belphie could weasel his way into foreign social circles like it was what he was born to do. And what Asmo was born to do was to act as a bargaining chip for the ones in his family that were actually competent and knew how to run a kingdom, and be a good little concubine to whoever would take him.

🧩 ⇢ what will make you click away from a fanfiction immediately?

hmmm, I could say all the easy stuff like no paragraph breaks or ooc-ness... actually, whenever there's something too sexual that the tags don't warn for. listen, I'm sex-repulsed, but I've accepted that most people who aren't me get a little into (read: horny about) the pairings they write. whatever. I'm not here to police how people enjoy media. sometimes I even appreciate it, either for the intended reason or because it's really funny! but the least you can do is give me a warning! if I'm warned, I at least expect it. nothing fucking shatters my soul more than getting super hyped over a story only to realize it's going in a direct that will make me genuinely physically nauseous if I keep reading it. there's a reason I don't buy actual romance books anymore unless one of my friends have vetted it first. ugh. that's a really negative note to end things on. but whatever.

You answering asks about your fic last week sent me re-reading a bunch of them on AO3, and somehow I never connected the smilebackwards fic author in all the different fandoms I like as the SAME PERSON. So this past week is when I realized that one of my favorite Old Guard fics (Nicky's got a Michaelangelo), one of my favorite Malec fics (Alec is cursed to obedience), one of my favorite SGA fics (Sheppard's Marines), and one of my favorite Batfamily fics (Tim teaches Damian to take over Wayne Enterprises) were all written by one person. My mind is blown. (Or maybe not. They all have the kind of family and relationship feels I love, so I probably could have figured it out earlier.)

Anyway, I love all your fic, even though I just discovered it was all your fic less than a week ago. 😂

😂 I love this so much. I do absolutely fandom hop all over the place and I recognize your name as a frequent reader. Pleased to be journeying through all these fandoms with you 🤝

It's so especially humbling to me when people still love my older fic. Like I wrote Atlantis Marines in 2015 and it's still enjoyed!! 💖

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

I really like that Damian is kind of abrasive at first but underneath he has a good heart 🥹 I think all the best portrayals of Damian are ones that are able to balance the fact that he's kind of a bitch sometimes but also he's just a traumatized kid doing his best.

I like Tim because he's like the most relatable normal dude ever but also not???? ya know??? like he's just a guy but he's also incredibly smart and the weirdest guy ever. like he's TRYING to be normal and not succeeding. I think his narrations are some of the funnest to read. And I always enjoy seeing him get himself into a situation and seeing how he plans to get himself out of the situation 😭

6. What's something you have in common with this character?

Damian and I both do art 🎨 and Tim and I are both queer 🤝

7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

Bro the way I have no answer for this to be so fr. All the characteristics of these characters that I enjoy are ones that originated from the comics 😭

8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

With Damian they like to either turn him into this like absurdly evil villain character that feels no empathy and wants to kill people even at the slightest inconvenience??????

OR they will like make him deal with a lot of angst while simultaneously making him act like he's a baby instead of 10 to 14 years old????? like don't get me wrong I love a character getting put in situations but like at least make them ACT like themselves in that situation

With Tim I HATE when fandom acts like he's this helpless woobified character????? Because Tim has NEVER been like that in comics. Tim is very competent and canonically compartmentalizes very well in horrifying situations so fanon Tim just makes me go ?????????????
