It's day 6 of no you doting on him. Yes, San’s keeping track. 6 days of you working over-time and 6 days of neglect. Usually, he’s patient and well-behaved for you, but you seem to have taken his kindness for granted.
Especially now that you arrive every day talking about your newest coworker, the one who’s got you all starry-eyed and fluttering with excitement. Every time you open your mouth there’s no doubt that the name ‘Seonghwa’ will leave your mouth at least once. San thought he was just like a shiny new toy for you at first, but now you return every day with a smile and a ‘Seonghwa said the funniest thing today…’
He huffs to himself at the thought, his black tail swishing in annoyance behind him. A part of him is frustrated with himself for being so possessive, but the stronger part of him thinks of your smile and remembers all the reasons why he’s so possessive. Because you’re a precious thing he needs keep to himself.
How could you so easily forget such a simple rule? Or were you doing this on purpose? Teasing him, making him desperate and needy for you and waiting to see how long it’d take him to break? His face scrunches. No, not at all. He’ll show you what happens when you forget who holds the leash.
When you enter your apartment with the giddiness of seeing San overflowing, it ends when he’s nowhere to be found. You check all of his usual napping spots; by the kitchen window, the couch, and his bed. Your face twists in confusion, an uneasy feeling growing in your gut the more time you go without San. You pull your phone out of your pocket and immediately find ‘sannieboy’ in your phone.
Before you can press the bright green call button, although, you feel his big arms tighten around your figure. He traps you against his muscular body and if the amount of force he’s using is anything to go by, he’s planning to keep you to himself for a long while. Figures, that he’s ready to never let you go.
“You scared me, Sannie,” His breath tickles your neck as he kisses a trail from your jawbone down to your shoulder. He’d told himself he was ready for vindication the moment you entered the apartment, but your scent alone has him folding. His hand runs under your shirt and up your back, the texture of your warm skin soothing him like you’re his medication.
You can already tell somethings up by the way he mouths at you. Like your skin is the first taste of otherworldly nectar, every time. “You made me wait,” You assume San means it in an innocent way, “Oh, Sannie baby, I’m sorry. I’ve just been so busy at work, but I can spend time with you now!”
San squeezes you harder, stopping your attempt to turn around in his arms. “You-“ he pushes you up against the wall, pinning you between the white surface and his burly chest. His chest is heaving and you can feel his tail wrap around your calf, as if to hold you in place. His hips gyrate against yours and now his neediness is in a completely different context, “Made me wait.”
He uses your body like it’s his to play with, grinding his hips onto you senselessly and huffing in your ear at the friction. Hands roam your body, exploring all the parts he knows already. He pushes and pulls on you, in the way he knows you like, just so you can get a taste of the desperation he’s been feeling. His dick rubs between your panties, soaking them and making you just as needy as him now. You stumble through your words, “S-sannie, if I’d known you were in heat, I would’ve-“
His mewl cuts you off before you feel him press himself harder against you. That familiar heat boils inside of you now, the feeling all-consuming.
He shows no signs of stopping, his hips thrusting frantically to chase the sweet release he’s been craving for 6 days.
His voice comes out breathy as he keeps grinding against you, “J-just missed you so much,” He tries to bring you closer, like pressing you right up against himself isn’t enough. When that doesn’t work his hand comes to your front to pull you flush against him, ass directly on his stiff member.
San controls your movements, holding on to you tight as he forgets his strength the closer the he gets to his orgasm. He gives one final thrust, a groan coming out from deep in his body. You can feel his wet pants now, his shaking body, and harsh pants against your ear. You give him a moment to compose himself, his tail loosening it’s hold on your calf.
He’s embarrassed, humiliated with his cum-stained pants, that he couldn’t even wait to undress you. He was just too swept up in the feeling of you that half of him didn’t realize. San only needs you to get rid of the aching burn inside him, and nothing more.
You scratch at his fluffy ears as he catches his breath behind you, “Missed you too.”
San lifts his head to squint at you, “Mm…I’m sure ‘Seonghwa’ was keeping you company.”
You bite your tongue for a minute before deciding against it, “He did, but I missed my Sannie more.”
You smile innocently up at him, his twitching ears and swishing tail a surefire sign that your comment got under his skin. He’s too easy to tease. His eyebrows furrow and wiggle, like he’s trying to force his expression back to normal so you can’t see how annoyed he is by your teasing. You both know the truth.
He tilts his head, “Did he? Keep you company?”
The look on your face frustrates him, but he can’t look away. You frustrate him, but he likes the game you play. Taming and chasing you time and time again, as if you don’t come home to him everyday. He’ll keep playing with you.

Three Nights Remain
Leona Kingscholar loves sleep more than anything else in Twisted Wonderland. So he is determined to continue sleeping all through the night when he has to host two freshmen crashing in his dorm for taking a rather stupid deal he had nothing to do with. It wasn't his problem.
Yet for some absurd reason, the three nights that the prefect stays in Savanaclaw, he doesn't get a wink.
Second Choice, Last Place

The moment Leona saw one of his freshmen bringing the herbivore and the weasel into his dorm, he knew that it was going to be trouble for him. He tried to avoid it as much as he could. Anything that didn’t involve him wasn’t his business, and wasn’t about to become his when it meant more work added to his plate he kept purposefully empty.
But here he was, watching his dorm get humbled by that very same freshman and strange package deal, where one wasn’t anything more than a pipsqueak and the other didn’t have a drop of magic in him. Here he was, finding that strangely enough, the person he thought would be dead last in a fight seemed oddly good at throwing down when the need arose.
Here he was, in his room, with two extra freeloaders on his couch that were much too loud and much too foolish for his taste, if they had gotten into a situation dire enough that forced them to stay here of all places. “Thank you again for letting us stay here,” the prefect said, as he made sure for the umpteenth time that his and Grim’s bags weren’t taking up any more space than they had to like a good little student.
Leona just hummed, making himself comfortable on his bed. “Don’t make me regret it.” Out of all the reactions that could have gotten out of him, the herbivore laughed. It made Leona crack open an eye to peer at him. “What’s so funny?”
“Nothing.” Yuu sighed as he shrugged out of his uniform jacket, still trying to be as unimposing as possible as he draped it over his bag. “Usually I’m the one regretting things. Like this deal, for example.”
“Getting cold feet now?” Leona taunted, almost more a leer than a real question. He couldn’t help but smirk just a little. “You made your bed, herbivore. Now you gotta lay in it.”
Yuu huffed lightheartedly, the faintest hint of a smile etched on his lips. “Grim’s already taken care of that, I’m afraid.” He looked down at where the thing was already conked out, spread out on enough of the couch that it’d be a pain for the freshman to fit, too. Maybe that was the reason why he sighed, glancing down at bare wrists revealed by scrunched-up sleeves. “You wouldn’t happen to have a first-aid kit, would you?” he asked, that smile turning into something of a frown.
Another hum, as Leona eyed him through the slit he had to see through. “Didn’t know the herbivore was so easy to knock around.” He didn’t look all that beat up, but Leona could smell the tang of metallic blood in the air. Somewhere, skin had been broken. Wherever it was, he did a good job of hiding it, he’d give him that.
Maybe Leona was being a little mean. Something in him paused when the prefect’s eyes flickered, a dimmer thing flashing in them. “Didn’t know the lion took such pride in playing with his prey,” he shot back, making Leona’s second eye open as his eyebrow raised. “What a catch I am. ‘Doe-eyed and dimwitted,’ I think you put it. You must be flaunting me to everyone who’d listen as your best hunt.”
So the herbivore still had guts, even after facing beastmen full of snarling teeth and crackling spells. Leona smirked this time, tail flicking from where it was next to him. “Finally decided to drop that little act of respect, huh?”
Yuu grinned back, something twisted and dark and just evil enough to make Leona wonder if this frosh was really as out of place in this school as he originally thought. “Not at all.”
Doe-eyed, dimwitted and cheeky, he mentally added, a little more amused than he should’ve been to find out that the prefect had claws beyond just physical fights. “If I got anything, it’d be in the bathroom,” Leona finally said, trusting he wasn’t blind enough not to miss the door.
“Thank you very much, Housewarden Kingscholar.” He almost didn’t let the laugh that got out of him be anything more than another hum, but it did when Yuu somehow schooled his features to look as prim and proper as physically possible. He didn’t know how to feel about it. He could be asleep and yet here he was, laughing at some forgettable freshman’s joke.
Leona decided he’d sleep now, letting his eyes shut again. It wasn’t his problem that he had been foolish enough to make a contract with the cephalo-punk, and it wasn’t going to be. The only thing that he would contribute and take from this was a temporary lodging and a new, equally temporary servant.
But then little noises kept coming from beyond the wall—clinking and ripping and the shuffling of clothes—and he found that it was enough of a distraction to keep him awake. “Knock it off,” he called with a lazy snarl, turning onto his side. There were days that he didn’t mind his heightened senses, and then there were nights like now, when he almost wished he was as deaf as a human so that he could get to rest.
“Sorry. I’m almost done.” Leona’s ear swerved as he picked up something else. A faint gasp, the sharp inhale of a hiss. He felt a growl rising in his throat when he heard it, though he didn’t know quite what it was directed at. Irritation that he was still awake, he decided on, when another of those breaths were sucked in.
Leona dragged himself off his bed, stalking over to the doorframe. Yuu almost jumped when he saw him, making a little flash of predatory satisfaction run through the housewarden. It was accented with the smell of blood, sharper now, since the wound was exposed to the fresh air instead of covered like before. It was a gash on his arm, still weeping a thin stream of scarlet.
It wasn’t just that one place, he realized, when his eyes slid to the hand gingerly letting his bunched-up shirt fall again. There was a bandage already on his abdomen and a bruise budding on his hip, only the very edge visible from where it dipped below his pantline. Leona supposed if he looked closer, took in a deeper breath, he’d find hints of even more blood and blue on his body.
That growl returned. “You really are easy to rough up,” he scowled, eyes smoldering as he looked at the prefect. Yuu averted his for a moment, but then thought better of it, staring right back with a face that said how unafraid he was. Leona’s glower grew. He was too bold for his own good.
“I’ve managed just fine until now,” the herbivore reminded, going back to his wounds as though Leona was nothing but a shadow on the wall. He didn’t make a sound when he dabbed some sort of ointment on the cut, biting the inside of his cheek to muffle it. But Leona still caught the faint scent of pain, something just as sharp and thick as though he was feeling it himself. If he looked close enough, he could see the way the herbivore’s eyes squinted, in annoyance and exhaustion and a list of other things Leona didn’t want to list, because he shouldn’t be thinking about it anyways.
What a pain.
Yuu opened his mouth as Leona stepped closer, undoubtedly about to shoot another quip at him, but he stopped when he noticed that the housewarden had swiped a roll of bandages, ripping off just enough to wrap around his injury. His wrist was thin, Leona found himself musing when he felt the way Yuu’s heart skipped and thudded from his vein. It was almost impossible to see what he really looked like, thanks to the uniform that was at least three sizes too big for him, but even then, he wasn’t nearly as brawny as he’d imagined, to be able to take on the number of his dorm members he had and win. Then again, he would have to be small, to avoid the spells that seemed to follow him like fire streaking through dried grass.
He didn’t say anything, even as Leona tied the bandage ends together, keeping it there to cover the slice on his skin. “Thank you,” Yuu finally murmured, when Leona dropped his hands and leaned back, eyeing him a bit more. He really was puny. He couldn’t imagine that he’d be close to a filling snack to the menaces that were the Leech twins, let alone himself.
“Just stop making noise.” Yuu sighed, but the hints of a smile were on his face. Leona almost scoffed at it. The prefect started to put back together the supplies, tucking a strand of hair that had fallen into his face back again. That was when he saw it, able to look at it without distractions like other people or fights that he’d started.
Leona had known that Yuu got hurt from when he’d overblotted, but he had never been able to see just exactly what he’d done. It was the first time he was seeing it from so close up—taking in the claw marks that spread from the side of his head to the corner of his jaw, still red and still fresh, even though the tournament had been some time ago now. With how big and long the four scratches were, Leona was almost surprised that the herbivore still had an ear on that side. But miraculously, it was still there, only with a few nicks and tears to speak of.
It was healing as nicely as it could, but even so, it would no doubt hurt like no one’s business if it was put in saltwater—like the very sea he was going to dive into. That silent growl returned, but now Leona knew what it was directed at.
“You’re staring,” the prefect mused, not looking over at him as he crouched to put the kit away. “I’m done now, I promise. You can go back to sleep.”
He felt something whisper inside him, like mounds of sand were forming to weigh him down. “Change into something else,” Leona grumbled, despite the way something putrid covered his tongue like rotten meat. “Your shirt’s bloody.”
The prefect blinked, and it almost looked like he was noticing that for the first time when he caught sight of the crimson stain on its front. Leona fought the urge to make that growl audible. “I don’t really have anything else,” he admitted, looking a little embarrassed as he did.
Of course he didn’t. Whether that was because the eels didn’t give him enough time to pack, or he just never had enough clothes in the first place, Leona didn’t know. He sighed either way, feeling the telltale drag of drowsiness start to pull him back to his bed. If he didn’t get to go back to it within a few minutes, he’d be angry. “Take something of mine then,” he ended up saying, trying to make this go faster so that he could get to sleep earlier.
“Are you sure?”
Leona just eyed him in return. “Anyone with half a sense of smell in this dorm would catch a whiff of it. They’d be on you in seconds if they knew it was from you.”
It wasn’t a lie. The members of Savanaclaw were more feral than they should be some days, and it ended badly for anyone who was foolish enough to show their weakness off for others to exploit. If they knew that Leona was housing a wounded defect instead of just a defect, things would get bad for the both of them.
Only, he wasn’t either of those things. Leona didn’t know what to think as he watched Yuu tentatively open his closet while he stalked back to his bed, taking out the first shirt he thought Leona wouldn’t mind him wearing. This was a person—a herbivore—that had somehow taken him on at his stupidest, weakest, but still most powerful moment, something that he still didn’t know all the details of and didn’t want to, and won. Out of everyone in this school, Leona could count the people who were capable of that on one hand.
And yet, he still got pushed around like he was the weakest in the pride, beaten and used like a chew toy. Every time Leona had seen it, when those little spats had taken place in the botanical gardens for whatever reason, he had seen how the prefect had never fought back. He just defended himself with a look of set grimness on his face, and once his assailants were satisfied, he just went back to his day like they did. Maybe it was because he didn’t have magic. Maybe it was for some other reason, but all Leona knew and cared to know was that that was the way of the world. Those not favored were always second choice, and those not gifted were always last place.
Leona’s eyes narrowed as the prefect reappeared again, gently scooting Grim away for him to have enough space to curl up. Except, he didn’t. He reached down for his bag, pulling out a stack of documents thick as Leona’s wrist.
“What do you think you’re doing?” he demanded, a snarl in his voice. It was too far past when he should have been asleep. It was too far past when the prefect should have been asleep, if Leona cared, but now he was starting yet another thing to keep them awake.
Yuu gave him a smile. Even in the dim light, Leona could see how it was strained, speaking of how desperately he wanted to drift off, too. “You can turn off the light. I won't disturb you.”
“That’s what your words are sayin’, but that’s telling a different story,” Leona countered, shooting an icy look at the papers. There was no reasonable way that a freshman should have that much of anything, homework or dorm responsibilities or anything else.
He didn’t put them away, much to Leona’s annoyance. He couldn’t read the text on it from his position, so he couldn’t tell exactly what it was, but he had a sneaking suspicion about it when Yuu sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “They have to get done by the end of the week,” was all he told Leona, an apologetic tone woven into his voice. Leona met it with an unimpressed stare. “Pretend I’m not here. I’ll be quiet as a mouse.”
Leona’s eyes narrowed. Yuu tried to give him a sheepish smile, and that was finally the thing that made Leona relent, rolling his eyes as he let his head fall on his pillows. “You’d better be.” The last thing the prefect did before Leona made the light go out with a wave of his hand was put a finger to his lips, already displaying how silent he could be.
It wasn’t his problem, and it wasn’t his mess to clean up. So Leona let his eyes close, nestling just a little further into his bed to get comfortable. But he found himself keeping his ears alert, pricked and swerved just the right way to pin down the herbivore’s every noise. He really was quiet, Leona would give him that—the only thing he could pick up for the most part, even with his inhuman hearing, was the faint scribble of a pen and the occasional louder exhale of a weak sigh.
At one point, there was something a little off. The air changed in a way Leona couldn’t quite place, making everything smell and sound and feel different. Then there was the sound of a cork uncapping a bottle, a whispered swallow, the rustling of a jacket as something was taken out or put back into his bag. Everything changed to normal a few seconds later, as though the strange abnormality had never happened. Leona chalked it up to his half-asleep state playing tricks on him, when he wasn’t quite sure what was real and what wasn’t.
But the sounds continued. Every time Leona thought that he was finally done, as a silence dragged out for long enough that he felt himself slipping into complete sleep, something would always break it. The resuming of writing on paper, or a little murmur so breathy Leona couldn’t even call it a whisper.
Finally at his wit’s end, Leona let his scarred eye open, peering through the night to catch a glimpse of the herbivore. He doubted that the prefect had moved from his position in all the time they’d spent in darkness. If he had, Leona couldn’t tell—he still was hunched over his papers, pen moving as though it were the last thing keeping the world from ending. He’d gotten through a good portion of it, at the very least. The stack at his feet that Leona assumed were the finished ones was thicker than he’d expected it would be, especially when he could hardly see in the dark as well as Leona could. Efficiency seemed to be one of his strong suits, if nothing else.
Yuu stopped as he finished the sheet he’d been working on, staring down at the ones on the ground with a dull look in the eyes that otherwise glowed like two ghostly blue stars. Leona could practically hear the gears turning in the herbivore’s head, screaming and clicking from the lack of oil rest would give them. And then he stopped, listening to his mind's pleas by joining the two stacks together before storing them back in his bag. Leona breathed a sigh.
Only for the prefect to pull out another stack of papers.
Enough was enough. “What,” Leona hissed, making Yuu jump at how a single emerald fire was aimed at him from the dark, “are you doing.”
“My homework,” he answered, too surprised to lie. It took another snarl from Leona to finally make Yuu come to his senses, albeit if he had any. “I thought you were asleep.”
“You can see just how right you are, can’t you?” Leona could hear the way Yuu’s breath hitched when he lifted his head, raising up to glare at the freshman. “Wasn’t that other stack it?”
His throat bobbed as he swallowed. “No. That was— that wasn’t.” Yuu seemed scared. Good. It reflected in his eyes as Leona sat up further, silently demanding a better answer out of him. “They’re from the headmage,” he admitted, fidgeting with his hands under the housewarden’s smoldering gaze.
“‘Course they are.” It almost sounded like Leona wasn’t convinced, with the venom starting to seep into his voice. He was more surprised that the birdbrain would trust a job like that to a freshman with no place in the world and no magic to his name. Maybe that was exactly why, he realized, as he remembered that Crowley was the reason why the herbivore had even been investigating him in the first place.
It clicked then, what Yuu's role was in everything. Of course—he was someone unnoticeable and disposable. And Leona’s anger surprisingly changed to a new target, as he recognized just how little say the student in front of him had in anything. But no one in the room had to know about that. “Put them away,” he ordered, giving the papers such a heated look it wouldn’t be surprising if they spontaneously combusted. Yuu opened his mouth to speak, to no doubt argue with him, but Leona stopped it with another hair-raising snarl. “Now.”
Yuu gave him a look that only seemed half-annoyed, with how worry and fear was taking up the rest of his brainpower. “I’m sorry. I—”
“Stop talking.” Yuu immediately listened, closing his mouth without another word. So now he had some common sense. “Lay down ‘n sleep,” Leona told him, narrowing his eyes more for every second that passed where he didn’t. “I’m not askin’, and I’m not saying it again.”
Leona watched with eyes that didn’t miss a thing as Yuu did as he said, making sure there was no way for him to worm his way out of it again. Maybe he should start calling the herbivore the weasel instead of the pipsqueak, he thought with an almost sarcastic tone. He was small and slippery enough to be one.
Finally, the freshman seemed like he was done. So Leona laid back down again, hoping for sleep at last. “Sorry,” the herbivore mumbled, not-quite-quiet enough for Leona to miss.
His eyes opened again from where they had almost closed shut, feeling those sand dunes press down on his chest again.  “Go to bed,” he answered, in a voice that was not quite as harsh as before.
The prefect shifted one more time, readjusting the blanket draped over his body for one final last noise of the evening. “Good night.”
Leona sighed, forcing himself to stop staring at the ceiling and listening to the prefect. Some sleep he was getting.
Tumblr media
Once Yuu and his gang of freshmen disappeared from campus, Leona returned to his room instead of his regular spot in the botanical gardens. He’d been tipped off by the herbivore’s frantic studying to know that there were going to be one too many classes there for him to stomach, so he returned to his room instead, peacefully and blissfully quiet without his two extra roommates.
And yet, he did not sleep. For some strange reason, Leona dug through his possessions, without rhyme or reason, trying to remember where it was that Ruggie told him he’d stored a particular group of stuff. Of course, he’d been falling asleep, so he hardly remembered what the sophomore had said to him. At the time, Leona hadn’t cared in the slightest, but he supposed he was a little ticked off at his past self now, when he’d rummaged through enough places and thrown enough things around that he wanted to just stop and get in his afternoon nap.
Then, finally, in the last few seconds Leona had grumbled to himself he’d spend doing this, he found it, left to gather dust in a box in an unused room. Anyone without magic or muscle would have been doomed to get buried in all the discarded things, which was why Leona had held off looking in there until he was completely sure that was the only place it could be. It really was for the best that Yuu and Grim roomed with him, Leona found himself thinking, before he threw the thought out of his head.
He’d done more than enough for today, Leona decided. So he haphazardly threw it onto one of the many piles of things scattered amongst his floor and slunk back to his bed, hoping to catch a few winks before Ruggie came looking for him for lunch.
Tumblr media
No one at this school pulled any punches, Yuu found, even for those younger and weaker than them. Any other day, under any other circumstances, she would have respected that. But now, when she was tired and cold and sore, Yuu just wanted to go back to her moth-eaten bed and let the world crumble around her.
“You’re not done yet,” Ruggie chimed, noticing how Yuu and Grim were about to fall back onto Leona’s couch and pass out, even though it was littered with mess. “We gotta clean, then you can conk out.”
Of course. Yuu sighed, grabbing Grim by the scruff to pick him up again and set him on the ground, too tired to speak. “This feels messier than last night,” she mused despite herself, knowing it was probably a little rude, but exhaustion removing her filter.
“It always seems that way when it’s your job to clean up.” Yuu hummed, grabbing any and all laundry nearby to throw in the hamper. If nothing else, she could try to be quick. Then she could get to the mountain of paperwork she still needed to do, between her homework and the papers Crowley had assigned to her.
The last few rays of sun trickled in through his balcony, and Yuu couldn’t help but pause for a second, watching the great ball of fire descend to the horizon. She only had two more days to achieve the impossible. It would have been difficult enough with a month, but with only three sunsets given to her, Yuu had half the mind to just curl into a ball and let herself give up.
But she couldn’t. Yuu wasn’t the only one standing to lose something now. It was the mess she’d told her friends she’d help them get out of, so it was her burden to bear. Yuu sighed, rolling her shoulders to hopefully shake some of the aching soreness in them from swimming the entire day, and got back to work. Leona did nothing but watch with half-lidded eyes, lazily following their movements as the two of them cleaned while Ruggie oversaw.
Once the rest of the room was devoid of things haphazardly tossed around, Yuu moved onto Leona’s desk, seeing that there was clutter still near its surroundings. She hadn’t meant to pry, but when she carefully took the blanket that was draped over the table into her hands, folding it absentmindedly, her eyes dragged across the words of the opened book below.
And then they widened. “Leona,” she called, feeling a spark of hope ignite in her for the first time in weeks, “are these your textbooks?”
His eyes had closed, and they did not reopen at her query. “What’s it matter?”
It wasn’t a yes. But it wasn’t a no, either. “Could I borrow them for tonight?” Yuu asked, glancing down at Grim when he made his way over. Hopefully he didn’t miss the silent plea she’d given him to start reading, just in case Leona suddenly got up and snatched them away.
Not that he'd do that. Or maybe he would. After last night, Yuu wasn’t really sure where his boundaries were in what did and didn’t make him mad. But the housewarden just hummed, not bothered enough to give her a proper answer. It wasn’t a no. “Thank you,” she breathed, taking them in her hands as though they were the most fragile glass and bringing them back to her makeshift bed.
“You’re still doin’ homework?” Grim exclaimed, the hint of disapproval in his voice. “We’re not even goin’ to class, minion. There’s no point.”
“We’ll still have to learn the material,” she countered, only half present in the conversation. The last of her attention on her surroundings disappeared when Ruggie snickered, echoing in her ears like the whispers of sand grains shifting against each other. Maybe tonight, she could finish her homework before such an unreasonable hour.
And Leona watched through that one hardly-opened eye, as the last of the light disappeared from inside his four walls, and yet the prefect still worked.

“Match my shoes or complement?” you ask your dog.
She barks once and raises her left paw to point to the grey booties you’re holding. You nod and put the other pair away before kneeling before her. She raises one foot at a time so you can put her shoes on to protect her paws from the concrete outside. Your doctor told you going on walks could be beneficial for your mental and physical health, and your service dog seems to enjoy them just as much as you do.
“Ready to walk?” you ask as you stand.
Rather than barking to answer, she runs to the end cabinet in your kitchen and sits. Her leash and your small medical bag are inside, and you shake your head in amusement. Once your bag is on your back and her leash is clipped to her harness, you exit the back door and lock it behind you.
“Let’s go, girl.”
Tumblr media
Tim sighs as he shifts his truck into park. His shift was hectic, but he knows Kojo has been trapped inside and would like a walk. The weather is nice today, so it would do Tim some good to get outside too, he thinks.
As Tim suspected, Kojo is bouncing excitedly and full of energy when he enters. Kojo runs to the shelf holding his harness and leash, then back to Tim. “I know, I know. Let’s do it, buddy,” Tim tells Kojo.
They leave a few minutes later, and Tim takes a deep breath as Kojo leads the way. The neighborhood isn’t busy this time of day, so Tim can relax a bit and follow Kojo rather than dictate where they go while actively looking for any threats.

Your service dog stops when another dog barks happily. You look away from the butterfly you were watching and smile when you see a man walking a dog. His dog seems interested in meeting your dog, and you click your tongue to signal her to keep walking.
“Kojo, no,” the man says, pulling the leash tight to his side.
“Hello,” you greet kindly.
“Hi,” the man replies, dipping his head in greeting. “Kojo.”
“Beautiful dog,” you add.
“He thinks that means he can do whatever he wants. Sorry, he likes meeting other dogs.”
“He’s fine,” you promise.
“She’s working, Kojo,” he whispers harshly.
“He can come over,” you offer. “She’s sweet, and she can multitask.”
“Are you sure?”
“Positive.”
The man loosens his grip on the leash and steps toward you. Your dog wags her tail quickly, slapping your leg every time she does. She sits, and Kojo flops down as they introduce themselves as dogs do.
You extend your right hand and tell the man your name and your dog’s name.
“I’m Tim, and that’s Kojo,” he replies. “We usually have more manners.”
Your dog steps over Kojo’s back legs to stand over him, and you chuckle as you say, “We don’t.”
“I haven’t seen you over here before.”
“Our walk times differ daily,” you explain. “I should start coming out now, though, because there’s no one else.”
“That’s why we love it.”
Your dog stands quickly and presses her nose into your thigh. Time to go home. “That’s my cue,” you tell Tim. “Maybe we’ll see you and Kojo on another walk soon.”
“That’d be nice. Enjoy the rest of your day,” Tim agrees. You smile as your dog leads you back the way you came. Tim is nice, his dog is adorable, and they exude comfort. You truly wouldn’t mind running into him again, you decide.
As you leave, Tim watches you go, and Kojo does too. Kojo looks up at Tim and pants happily.
“Good boy, Kojo,” Tim compliments. “But we need to talk about your manners. Service dogs can’t always hang out, bud.”
Kojo tilts his head as his ears perk, and Tim shrugs. He doesn’t know why you have a service dog, but it doesn’t matter. You do.
“We’re both going to be thinking about them for a while aren’t we?”
Kojo barks in return, and Tim sighs. There are worse things to think of.
Tumblr media
Tim falls asleep thinking of you and wakes with a smile on his face. Kojo jumps onto his bed with his leash in his mouth, and Tim assumes he’s thinking about you and your dog, too. When Angela and Lucy started joking that Tim and Kojo were exactly the same, just different species, he didn’t expect to prove them right so easily.
“Fine, fine,” Tim concedes when Kojo moves to stand on his chest. “A quick walk before work. They won’t be there, though.”
Tim shakes his head as Kojo leads him to the same stretch of sidewalk where they met you last night. You’re nowhere to be seen, as expected, but Kojo keeps walking.
“Good morning, Kojo.”
Tim looks up quickly when he hears your voice, and your smile is stronger than any coffee he’s ever tried. He returns your smile and steps closer. Kojo greets your dog happily, and they step into the grass-covered yard beside you.
“Good morning to you, too, Tim,” you add.
“Good morning. Didn’t expect to see you so soon.”
“This one couldn’t stop thinking about Kojo,” you explain, pointing to your dog. “And my doctor wants me to walk more, so win-win.”
“They’re best friends now, aren’t they?” Tim asks.
You turn at the same time as him, and your arm presses against his as you watch your dogs play together.
“They certainly are. Do you think they’ll keep waking us up to see each other?”
“Kojo will.”
“She will, too.”
“Well, I have to get to work, but it was great seeing you. Kojo appreciates your early morning walk.”
“What do you do?” You scrunch your nose and add, “Sorry, if that’s too personal you don’t have to answer.”
“Not at all,” Tim assures. “I’m a cop.”
“I knew it,” you reply.
“What about you?”
You give him a quick overview of what you do but leave out the part where sometimes your dog won’t let you. She does her job a bit too well sometimes and she’s already pulled you away from Tim once.
“Have a good day at work, Tim,” you say. “See you around.”
“You, too.”
Tumblr media
Over the next week, you and Tim meet on walks once or twice a day. Your dog seems attuned to Kojo’s schedule and lead you to Tim every time you go for a walk. Within a week, you and Tim decide to walk together rather than stand in one place and interrupt your walks.
“I- this may be too forward,” Tim begins as you walk beside him.
“May not be,” you counter.
“Would you want to exchange numbers? It could be easier to let these two partners in crime meet up if we can talk before,” he suggests.
“Don’t call them partners in crime! Then you’d have to arrest them.”
“I’m sure they’d get off with a warning.”
“Tim!” You chuckle before agreeing to exchange numbers.
When your fingers brush Tim’s as you hand him your phone, you suddenly understand why your dog wants to see him and Kojo every day. You could get used to life at his side.
“I tried to leave last night to run to the store, but Kojo wouldn’t let me pass his leash,” Tim tells you as he returns your phone. “Had to take him for a walk before I could go get dinner.”
“Is he that convincing?” you inquire.
“He’s that bossy.”
“I wonder if he gets it from you,” you muse playfully.
“His former owner. Friend of mine from work, so I can blame that on her.”
“But all of his good traits are from you?” you guess.
Tim shrugs with a smile, and you bump your shoulder against his. These walks are doing you more good than your doctor anticipated. Your dog hasn’t alerted you to any health-related threats in days, which you attribute directly to walking with Tim and Kojo.
“Tim…” could we be more than neighbors who walk their dogs together?
Tim says your name, matching your tone as you return to your starting place.
“I just wanted to ask if we could meet again tonight. For another walk, to wear them out before bed?” you suggest, rather than saying what you want to.
“Text me the time.”
You nod and return home with a smile on your face. Though you have plenty you could do, you waste most of the day staring at the clock and looking forward to meeting Tim and Kojo again.
Tumblr media
The leash hangs limply from your hand after you retrieve it from the cabinet. Your health took a sudden dip about an hour ago, but you’re trying to stay strong enough for the walk. Paws thud on the floor behind you, and when she presses her snout firmly into your thigh, you lower your hand toward her head.
“I know,” you mumble weakly. “I know, girl. But we can walk, right?”
She barks before she tugs on your shirt with her teeth. You shake your head, and she wraps a paw around your calf. Despite your need to see Tim, you know she’s right, and you carefully lower to the floor. As soon as you sit, your dog licks your cheek and presses her nose to your chest, but her whines are muffled as your eyes flutter closed.
Tumblr media
Tim has never been more excited to walk Kojo than he is today. He had a rough day at work, so he doesn’t hesitate to take Kojo out as soon as he arrives home. They get to your meeting spot early and wait. As your suggested time comes and goes, Kojo gets antsy. Tim pulls his phone from his pocket, but he doesn’t have any messages from you. He sends you one, but it goes unread until he turns the screen off.
Kojo starts pulling on his leash a few minutes later. His nose is lowered to the ground, so Tim gives him some slack in his leash. Kojo walks through your usual route but passes the place where you and Tim part ways. He stops in front of a house several blocks from Tim’s and looks at the yard before he leads Tim to the door.
“What are you doing, Kojo?” Tim asks.
A dog barks inside, and as the barking continues, growing louder as the dog nears the door, Tim recognizes the sound of the bark. It’s your dog. She scratches against the door and whines, and Tim realizes that if you’re late and your service dog is upset in your house, something happened to you.
He leads Kojo off the porch and calls for an ambulance as he rounds the house. The side door is unlocked, and as Kojo steps inside, Tim sees your hand against the floor, with a leash beside it. Tim pushes the door open quickly and barely manages to catch it before it breaks the window behind it. Tim drops Kojo’s leash, and Kojo lies beside your legs to provide comfort to you and himself. Tim has known for over a week that Kojo loves you but seeing you like this makes Tim question how he feels about you.
Tim says your name but gets no answer. “Hey, girl,” he tells your dog instead. “What do I need to do? Show me.”
She presses her nose against your pulse point, and Tim follows suit on the other side. Your heart rate is elevated, and your slumped position is likely making it hard to breathe. Tim gently moves you into a more comfortable position as Kojo moves with you.
Your dog moves away from you and pulls a cabinet open before dragging a small backpack to Tim. He unzips it and sees medication, water with minerals and electrolytes, and a small booklet with instructions on what to do in case something like this happens.
Tim lays the book open and begins working through the recommended actions. In his mind, he pleads with you – begs you – to come back to him. He can hear the sirens on the ambulance approaching when you finally blink your eyes open.
“Tim?” you ask softly. “What are you doing here?”
“You didn’t meet us on the walk,” he answers. “Kojo got worried.”
“Just Kojo?” you ask knowingly, brushing a thumb over the crease between Tim’s eyebrows.
“Ambulance is here,” Tim tells you. “You’re gonna be okay.”
You see your bag beside him and whisper to thank him. “Sorry, I missed our walk.”
“You’ll have to make it up to me when you feel better,” he replies.
His hand slips into yours as you and your dog are taken to the ambulance. He asks the EMTs which hospital they’re taking you to before he kisses your temple and heads back into your house to clean up the mess he made. The deep scratches on your front door will have to wait, but he was nearly as upset as your dog when he got inside. Kojo whines at the door with his leash dragging behind him, but Tim says, “We have to wait. She’ll call when she’s ready.”
Tumblr media
The moment you get discharged, you call Tim. He agrees to pick you up before you even ask, and he and Kojo are waiting for you in the lobby when you’re pushed out of the elevator in a wheelchair.
“You can still walk, right?” Tim checks.
“Yes,” you promise. “And I’ll need lots of walks to feel better.”
Tim frowns, and you rush to tell him that you’re teasing. You feel much better, thanks to him, and the doctors said he helped you properly and with plenty of time to spare.
“They think I should keep you around,” you add quietly.
“Kojo would happily become your second service dog,” Tim replies.
“Thank you, Tim,” you say as he helps you into his truck. “For everything.”
He nods once before closing the door, and you sit back to watch Kojo get comfortable beside your dog in the backseat. He would look cute in a service vest and booties.
Tumblr media
After a few days of hourly check-in messages from Tim, you feel as good as new. You text Tim as you leave your house, and inhale deeply as you enjoy your first walk since your impromptu hospital visit. Your doctor scolded you for even trying to leave when you knew that you needed to act, but when she heard you talking to Tim, she understood why you put someone else before yourself. You’re not supposed to do that again, though, doctor’s orders.
“Hey,” Tim greets when you turn a corner.
“Hi,” you reply. “Care to join us for a walk?”
“We’d love to.”
As you walk side-by-side with Tim, you allow your arm to press against his and your hands to brush as you move along the sidewalk. You talk to Tim about his day, he asks about yours, and along the way, you lose track of time. When you notice the sun dipping below the horizon, you realize that it’s time to get home.
“I needed this, Tim. Thank you,” you tell him as your turn to return home.
“Let me walk you home,” he offers. “Kojo and I can’t let two lovely ladies walk home alone in the dark.”
“Well, thank you.” After a few steps, you remember that you never told Tim where you live. “How did you find me?” you ask.
“I didn’t. Kojo did. He’s obsessed with you.”
“The feeling is mutual, Kojo,” you tell him.
His tail wags faster at your attention, and you chuckle as Tim shakes his head. It seems like you reach your house much faster than usual, and it’s time to say goodbye to Tim and Kojo again.
“Would you like to go on a date?” Tim asks quickly as you stop by your door. “With the dogs?”
You open your mouth to reply, but Tim continues talking before you can.
“These walks are nice, but I’d like to try something more… if you’re willing,” he finishes.
You smile as you open your door. Leaning against it to keep it open, you say, “I’m willing. As long as the dogs are there.”
“Like they’d let us meet without them,” Tim scoffs.
“I’ll try not to have a medical emergency this time.”
“I’ll pick you up Friday night, around the same time as our walk?” Tim suggests.
“Sounds perfect. Goodnight, Tim, Kojo.”
“Goodnight,” Tim replies. As he turns to lead Kojo home, he says, “Say goodnight to our girls, Kojo.”
Our girls. You smile long after Tim leaves. If the walks impacted you this much, dating Tim will make spending time away from him and Kojo infinitely harder.
You text Tim before you fall asleep, looking forward to your first real date.
What happened to letting service dogs work?
Just before you drift off, you read Tim’s reply and your smile grows.
We’re her number 1 helpers. Besides, someone had to encourage you to take those walks your doc recommended.
A picture of Tim and Kojo accompanies the message, and suddenly, Friday seems an eternity away. You’ll just have to take as many walks as possible between now and then.

Babysitting gone wrong:
A requested Hazel and Jade fic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“But dad- I’m twelve! I can watch Jade! She’s not a baby anymore and neither am I!” Hazel groaned, throwing her head back as she felt like her dad wasn’t listening to her.
“Why would you want to? Is twelve even old enough to be alone at the house? ” Jack didn’t even look at her as he chaotically packed his suitcase, he had waited until the last minute despite your constant reminders.
You had overheard the tale end of the conversation and made your way into the bedroom with Jade tailing behind you.
“Mom! Tell him!” Hazel whined she had been tiptoeing into her pre-teen angst and it showed.
“Tell him what bug?” You tried to hide your smile, knowing she was a carbon copy of her dad’s attitude and it was very obviously getting to him. Jack's face was flush as he shot you an irritated glance, the way he was packing his suitcase bothered you as you walked over to him, softly moving him aside with your hip as you folded his shirts to fit better.
“Thank you baby” he leaned into you, kissing your cheek. His curls were a mess, his eyes were tired. He was running on fumes but still looked as handsome as ever to you.
“I asked if I could babysit Jade tonight when you guys leave. Grandma and Grandpa have bingo at six and instead of them missing it I can watch the house!” She spoke so quickly it took a moment for you to catch up to what she was saying.
“B-I-N-G-O and bingo was his name-oh!” Jade chimed in as she crawled on the bed and got under the covers immediately.
“You didn’t tell Mom why you want to do that” Jack smirked, stifling a laugh.
“Money, I assume?”
“Nothing in life is free” Hazel shrugged making you giggle at her hustler mentality.
“Grandma and Grandpa are at bingo for like two hours! I can do it!” Hazel looked up at you with big puppy dog eyes and pouty lips. “I won’t be alone! Lucky and Olive are here!”
“Our dog and cat are not going to help you take care of your sister. Having to be the only one in charge is exhausting.” Jack looked at you and you knew by the look in his eyes he wanted you to say no with him.
“Sidebar” You and Jack always said that to one another when you had to speak to each other privately. He stopped packing and followed you into the hallway leaving Hazel and Jade alone in the room.
“Babe, It’s just a few hours, we have the cameras to watch her too” you whispered not wanting to undermine Jack in any way.
“Do you think she’s ready for that? Jade is a lot older now but she’s still significantly younger than Hazey” he bit his lip, a telltale sign that he was nervous about it.
“I mean, you used to watch Clay all the time right?”
“I wasn’t that good of a sitter though” Jack chuckled, immediately remembering the time Clay fell off the bed and busted his knee open on his watch.
“It’s your call, big daddy. Whatever you wanna do” You squeezed his bicep knowing that would make him blush, as it always did.
Jack nodded, rubbing his beard with his hand. “You had to do that huh?” The smirk on his face told you what you already knew as you followed him into the bedroom.
“I’ll call your mom and tell her bingo is still on” you giggled as you gave him a quick kiss and went to find your phone to call Maggie.
Jack entered the room with a serious furrowed brow and stern look. “Your mom and I decided that you can watch Jade while grandma and grandpa go to bingo. You’re not allowed for any reason to use the stove or oven when you’re alone. You call us or grandma if you need anything at all, okay?”
“Yes! Thank you!” Hazel hopped off the bed and hugged Jack. “Now let’s talk about some benjamins!”
“You’ve been talking to your Uncles too much” Jack obnoxiously cackled, making Hazel sigh.
“You’re also wild if you think you’re getting paid racks on racks to watch your sister”
“What if I do an amazing job?” Hazel batted her eyelashes at Jack.
“Yeah, daddy! Hazey will do a good job!” Jade backed her older sister up with a big grin earning a high-five from Hazel.
“Then you’ll be hired again” you chimed in as you entered the room again. “Daddy and I will discuss your allowance when we get back.”
••••
When you and Jack had finally left the house you could tell he was anxious, you kept your hand on his knee the entire ride to the tarmac. You both had given Hazel a long talking to about calling 911 if there was an emergency, but Jack still didn’t feel at ease.
“It’s just for a few hours, my love” You handed him your phone with the security camera footage, giving him your airpod to listen.
“Okay, Jadey! What do you want to do now that it’s just us?” Hazel stood at the front of the living room.
“Can we eat candy? Oh! And play princess tea party? ” Jade was going to take full advantage of the situation, knowing Hazel would be more lenient than Mom and dad. She hopped off the couch and followed Hazel into the kitchen wiggling her loose tooth.
Jack handed you the phone back, deciding to trust the process and earning a kiss from you as you locked your phone.
“We can drink tea and eat some cookies, how does that sound?” Hazel used the step stool in the kitchen to get some tea bags from the cabinet.
“Uh oh!” Jade slapped a hand over her mouth, as Lucky started to pee inside the house. He had been waiting by the door but nobody had noticed for longer than his little bladder could hold.
“Bad lucky!” Jade ran over to him to open the back door but Hazel was already getting the towels and tile cleaner from under the sink.
“I got it Jadey- just go set up the tea table okay?” Hazel was trying to hide her annoyance as she cleaned up the mess that Lucky left dribbled on the tile floor.
It wasn’t long before she heard a big crash coming from Jade's bedroom, shutting the back door quickly after Lucky came running back inside.
“JADE?” A horrific scream came from Hazel as she ran toward her little sister's room, the plastic table they usually did tea parties on had fallen over, but nothing serious happened otherwise.
“I’m okay! I’m okay!” Jade was cleaning up the stuffed animals and plastic plates that had fallen on the floor of her bedroom. Hazel helped her set the table up before asking her to follow her to the kitchen to get the tea and cookies.
“You can carry the cookies and I’ll carry the tea.” She handed Jade the box of Keebler Danish wedding cookies as she opened the fridge to get a can of cold brisk tea.
“Cold tea?” Jade tilted her head to the side knowing normally you’d boil water on the stove.
“Daddy said I can’t use the stove” Hazel shrugged as she followed her little sister back to the bedroom.
The two of them were having a princess tea party as they usually did when Jade let out a shriek, her tooth barely hanging on by a thread.
“Oh my- Jade!” The color on Hazels face completely disappeared, trying to remember what you and Jack would do. “Don’t move!”
Hazel ran to the kitchen to get some paper towels to wrap her fingers in. When she got back to Jade she was crying and panicking.
“What do we do?” Jade sniffled as she tried not to move her mouth too much.
“I have to pull your tooth out Jadey! It’ll be fast okay? You trust me?”
“I’m scared” Jade whimpered as Hazel quickly tugged on the tooth that was barely hanging on.
Just as Hazel pulled the tooth out both Maggie and Brian arrived home from bingo causing a commotion as Lucky barked and Olive jumped down from Jade's book shelf.
“Do you think the tooth fairy will bring me lots of money?” Jade giggled as she held the napkin up to her mouth.
“I’m sure she will” Hazel sighed relieved that her grandparents were finally home.
“How did babysitting go?” Maggie asked the girls as she checked on them.
“Great!” Jade chimed in, “I lost a tooth!”
“I need a nap” Hazel groaned as she lay down on the floor. “Tell my dad he was right. I am exhausted.” she rolled over on the carpet closing her eyes and earning a stifled giggle from her grandma.

Okay listen, what I love about BTD kid au is that Strade, rire, & sano were friends ever since childhood. I mean it's adorable if you actually think about it 😂
I do have a headcannon story that I would like to tell you all so feel free to read this!
I still don't know how the three met, it's kind of like that one trio where they don't even know how they met each other in the first place so let's just go with that. But I'd figured it would go something like this.
Story: Strade was an only child and had no friends due to his behavior. He met sano when he was around probably 6-7 who was stuck in a pond with ropes around his tail (Sano). Strade upon seeing a young boy with a snake tail, was curious and decided to help him...but the two ended up in the rope and it took 2 hours for them to get themselves free. Strade and sano became friends after that and strade didn't even bother asking about why sano had a tail.
The next part is where the two met rire which is kind of in a weird way. Strade got home from his kindergarten and decided to play with sano as the two were close, sano has an idea to summon a demon, which wasn't normal for a child to say that but hey, he's a naga demon so what do you expect? Anyway, they summoned a demon and you might be asking how and why they did it. Well one; They were pretty dumb kids and also just curious, two; Sano found rire's 'symbol' online for odd reasons and decided to try it. They successfully summoned kid rire but...they interrupted his tea time which made the demon prince angry (Btw he's a prince because his family is still alive, so he ain't the demon king yet). After a full on rampage that goes on for about a few hours, they were able to come into an agreement to become friends.
Childhood Moments: Strade, Rire, & Sano would build their own treehouse in their old neighborhood where they used to live, and they would make the treehouse pretty big. Of course the three had their own rooms and storage for their own stuff, by this time strade had an old camcorder, so he used it to create videos and/or memories of their childhood.
The three would go on adventures and weird places or even terrifying ones. Strades parents never really paid any attention to him so they didn't care if he left the house. Strade likes to draw or doodle in his free time, so he draws a lot of art of him, rire and sano. Sano and strade likes to pull pranks on rire. For example one time, they did a water bucket challenge but instead of it being normal cold water, it was holy water which burned poor kid rire skin. Of course he was not happy, but don't worry...he got his revenge.
Another childhood memory is that the three would occasionally watch horror films like slasher films. Especially paranormal activity, every time there is a demon or spirit that is possessing a person, sano and strade were pretty much scared while rire happily watches the scene. BUTTTT, when it comes to the exorcist scenes...Rire would immediately hold his friends with his tentacles while hiding behind them😂😂 (inspo from the photo above)
Another time, sano and strade did a research and they read that in old Russian ancient times, there used to be a saying that brownies could scare off evil spirits or demons. And so...they tried it on rire, the results did not disappoint them. The moment they bought a brownie cake and placed it on the table in front of rire...the poor boy disappeared. Which confused the two at first, but then they realized it actually works! Rire would stay in hell until he knows for sure, that the brownies were gone.
Treehouse: The treehouse that they built in the forest is still there standing stable till this day, and that treehouse holds a lot of childhood memory. Strade Sano & Rire would often sleep in that treehouse as their comfort zone and also since it's the place they mostly hang out in. They carved their names on the treehouse door, something like this; "LR+SK+S" Which obviously means in order; "Lucien Rire+Sano Kojima+Strade". Of course soon strade had to move out of his old town and so did sano and rire. They left their old treehouse but kept their stuff there.
Present: Whenever Y/N is free they sometimes go to the Kojima brothers house just to hangout or sleep over. One day they stumbled upon an old photo of the main trio. Rire in the center, strade on his left side and sano on his right side. The photo looked like it was taken a few years back and Y/N was able to open the frame and found a note attached to the back of the photo which had coordinates, which if your guessing correctly; Leads to their old treehouse. Akira & Y/N visited that place and found the treehouse with all of their stuff still there in the same places where they left it. And if they went all the way to the back, they would find a wooden box container which is filled with many cassette tapes and writing of dates. Strade would record those childhood videos and put them on cassette tapes so there was a lot of them. Of course, Y/N & Akira ended up watching some of the videos in the end and didn't bother telling sano, strade, or rire.
Anyway that's pretty much my version of the BTD main trio kid AU. Let me now which one should I do next down below here ⬇️⬇️⬇️
(Btw, credits to the art above belongs to @darqx)

i am so obsessed with ur writing 🩷 this is actually really tame but i feel weird requesting it lol. could i get ren (or anyone really) with a reader who has a small chest (boobs? breasts? tits??). havent felt insecure about them in so long until recently and im spiraling. u can go from there with whatever u want. thank u!!
thankl you!! i've been literally all about boobs lately so....yeah alright!
900+ words, fem mc, chest referred to as breasts and boobs. you know how it goes.
Your entire life had a subtext now, which you were beginning to learn during your imprisonment.
You were watching placidly as Ren put together a new anime figure, his little, pink tongue poking out as he carefully lined up each notch of shiny plastic and pushed them together, all contributing to the elaborate diorama that he had probably spent way too much money on.
You might have rolled your eyes at his childish indulgence, his total lack of awareness as he put together a model of a busty cat-girl trying to hold a towel to her heaving chest, had you not been having a slightly…well, self-conscious moment about your own body.
Because there was that subtext now.
The lingering thought of not being good enough for Ren, so much so that he had to fulfil what you couldn't give him with perverted toys and crudely drawn pornography.
"You don't…really like girls like that, do you?" You mumbled, idly chewing the inside of your cheek.
"Hm? Like what?" Ren asked, not looking up from the task at hand as he slid a miniature plastic towel rack into place on the thick base.
"Like," You sighed and rolled your eyes, almost annoyed at yourself for asking. "This character…do you really think she's that pretty?"
"Yeah, of course I do!" He said, looking up like you were saying the obvious. "She's one of my favourites for a reason, you know, she's a total cutie pie. Like, she's depicted as heavier in the manga, obviously, but I really like that the anime was mostly faithful to her body type and skin tone." He was rambling now, as his eyes went back down to his figure and he smiled even wider. "Cus, ya know, you don't tend to see anime with chubbier girls, let alone anime that merchandisers pick up on...."
"Mph," You looked to the side, embarrassed that you had been so self-conscious to begin with. "R-Right…of course."
"What, are you jealous?" Ren then asked, his golden eyes on yours again and a coy smile on his face
"I'm not jealous!" You said quickly, looking back towards him. "It's just…well, i-it's typical that you'd think like that." You huffed and crossed your arms. "You don't actually care about…well, representation or whatever. You just like girls like that."
"Girls like what?" He grinned again, his fox tail wagging as you stammered and over-explained.
"Like…" Your cheeks flushed. "Big boobs and stuff."
"Mm, that sounds like you're jealous. Jealous over a girl that doesn't even exist, hah!" He barked out a hyena-esque cackle and leaned over his desk, bringing his face closer to yours. "Well, what's wrong with liking curvy girls? Obviously, it's important that Kitten-Chan is heavier, for, like, body positivity stuff or whatever, but…I do just think she's really cute. What's wrong with that, huh?"
"Whatever…" You rolled your eyes again. "Forget I said anything."
"No, no, this is way too cute" Ren laughed, pacing to the other side of his desk, and pressing his chest to yours in a close (and non-consenting) hug. He raised his eyebrows with a smile, looking at you more closely. "You're all flustered and stutter-y. It's pretty fun to tease you like this."
"What are you teasing me for?" You murmured, as his hands drifted down your hips, toying with the tie of your pyjama shorts.
"Because it's cute, and because I want to, duh," Ren replied with another little titter, keening in closer and rubbing his nose against your jaw, down your neck. "And you're such an easy target for it too. I mean, look at you." He leaned in and pressed his mouth to your neck, giving you a quick little nip. "You're even defensive about your boob size~"
"I-!" You yelped at the bite, cheeks flushed and your hands trembling down at your sides. "I'm not…defensive about that..."
Ren then raised his head to look you in the eye, his expression nauseatingly smug and his ears raised high.
"Oh, you're not?" He asked, raising a brow. "Sure is looking like it to me, sweetie…"
He then reached upwards for your chin, lifting your head and holding your gaze as his own narrowed, his expression hot and hungry and dripping with that unspoken subtext between you.
"You have no reason to be self-conscious, you know…" He murmured, the hand on your hip reaching up to your chest, idly pawing at you. "I mean, I like curvy girls, sure, but I like you too." He chuckled again and lowered his lips back to your neck, kissing the spot he nipped as he slid his hand down the front of your tank-top and palmed your breast roughly. "You're the one here, after all."
"You say that like it's a good thing…" You sighed, your hands still trembling from the effort you were putting in not to reach forward and grab his hips like he had to you.
"I think it is…" He replied, running his thumb (his claw) over your swelled nipple, and relishing in the little gasp you let out at the contact, the way you jerked and trembled. "And I think you think so, too."
You bit your lip as he reached forward and pulled the front of your tank down, the barely-there heft of your breasts not enough to keep it rolled down completely.
"Don't be so insecure, sweetie," He crooned, both hands now squeezing and groping at your chest indulgently. "I like your small boobs a lot…they're just so cute."
"Mm," You bit your lip to hide a fuller moan, your face flushed and your eyelids fluttering with pleasure as his claws dragged over your nipples again.
"And so sensitive~"

Why am I thinking about how the ghouls sit ? Anyway here are my headcanons :
Sunshine likes to sit cross-legged, especially on furniture that isn't meant to be sat on. The coffee table, the kitchen counter, a dresser, even the fridge on rare occasions, you name it.
Swiss slouches a lot. It drives everyone crazy because he takes so much space, half laying on the couch, arms thrown on the headrest, legs spread wide. He doesn't even realize he does it until someone points it out, it's literaly his default position.
Okay, I have a very specific vision for Alpha. Whenever he sits in something that has armrests, he throws one of his leg over one of said armrests, which leaves him basically manspreading the day away. It exasperates Pebble for some reasons. Though Alpha really doesn't do it on purpose most of the time, he does get a kick out of spying the reactions it gets (Omega hates that he finds it stupidly attractive)
Speaking of Omega, that ghoul hates sitting. He'd much rather lay down, even if that means staying on the floor during movie night because he's not about to keep the whole couch for himself. When he does sit, he tends to be a bit stiff, back ramrod straight, tension in his shoulders. He doesn't really know why, it's just how it is.
Ifrit loves to have his legs thrown over someone's lap, he's a very physically affectionate ghoul so it soothes him. Or he'll have someone sitting on his lap and tangle his legs with theirs.
Phantom sits with at least one of his knees drawn up to his chest, tail often wound around him. It makes him feel safe, even more so when someone holds him as he does it.
Dew often has one leg folded under him while sitting, the other hanging off the couch/chair or whatever. Every once in a while, he'll switch legs so that they don't get numb.

Is S!Finn real Finn? I thought "most Finn" was garden variety Finn. I've been thought that he is the first, the classic. You mean, is he just one of "other Finn"? But if you say so as their father, I feel like I have no choice but to give up on him. I feel heartbroken.
I think you've overthought everything to the point of it being a big mess, which isn't necessary at all, and I'm sorry that's happened.
The content, regardless of which Finn, is meant to be perfectly enjoyed as its own standalone thing. They are all their own individuals, and can happily be content that is enjoyed as its own thing.
You do not have to adhere to some sort of rules about his character. You like garden variety Finn working in a flower shop???? Cool! That's Finn!
You like Bunny Finn and only want to enjoy him when he's got his ears and tail? Also cool!
You like or don't like Yandere Finn? Cool! Take him or leave him!
It doesn't matter, we are playing PRETEND with FICTIONAL characters. You are in control! You can enjoy it how you see fit and I'm not here to tell you you are wrong unless you repeatedly come up to me and make it my problem, in which case I try to answer to the best of my abilities.
What you shouldn't do is get so caught up in lore and the broader narrative that you somehow make a big mess out of things and trick yourself into thinking that he's so complicated that you can't engage with him.
You can enjoy Talk Floral, any of his alternate stories, or his deeper narrative story all on their own. That's entirely possible, the same way it is for every other character that has had content that is separate from the narrative.
The bigger narrative at hand is for people who want to engage with it, and it's NOT READY YET. I wish I had planned all this better from the start and we had all the information up front but that's not how this has played out.
I'm not going to go into the details that will quite literally be thoroughly explained in upcoming content because you've chosen to overcomplicate this to the point of having your heartbroken over a character who quite simply has AU versions of himself, a concept that has not been an issue to this point.
Source Finn is the Finn from which other versions of him have come from. They all explore some aspect or wish fulfilment either of his own or of the listener's. For PLOT REASONS YOU DON'T GET TO KNOW, those Finns are all their own Finn, they standalone as a person and entity. Which is my way of saying they are all equally valid as a person on their own. They are their own thing.
Getting hung up on language like who is "the most Finn" or "the real Finn" is pointless because they are all their own individual person existing in a bubble. The only difference is that Source Finn is a character with a broader consciousness of these things.
And....if you don't want to engage with that...you can enjoy every single one of those Finns at your preference and you are not wrong for doing so. That is literally how it is meant to work.
You've gotten so far away from the simple concept of "these are cute little characters in cute little stories satisfying my wishes" that you've shot yourself in the foot. You probably shouldn't do that. Nothing that is coming or has occurred up to this point invalidates any of the prior content, and if you're tricking yourself into thinking it has, then I'm not entirely sure how else to explain it.

Zutara Prompt
Zuko is visited by the mysterious Painted Lady and becomes enamored.
Mmmm pre state testing brain go brrr with silly ship.
FEATURINGG: Sly Zuko and awkward Katara, I mean- Painted Lady.
Zuko had heard stories of the painted lady when he was a kid. She was an old legend that lived among the poorer people of the fire nation. Nonetheless, his mother still insisted on telling him stories about the woman. Through the years, Zuko had learned to associate the Painted Lady with the good parts of the fire nation. A nation that had destroyed so many others could still have creation. This nation that he had learned to despise could still be good. He knew that there was still good.
He never expected, however, to meet the woman in person, outside the small tea shop his uncle owned in Ba Sing Se.
And he cursed his mother for never telling him how beautiful she was.
It was only for a split second that he had seen her, dashing through the streets in a flash of crimson, but he recognized the silhouette and memories came flooding back to him.
Then she stopped and looked at him. Zuko felt his face flush at the sudden stop of movement from the woman now right in front of him. And damn, she was beautiful. Even though he could barely see her face from the veil that covered her head, he still got a good view of her from how close he was.
Then, almost as soon as she stopped, she left, dashing away and leaving nothing behind.
Zuko blinked in confusion.
-
The next day, there was more commotion when the painted lady came. More people were outside watching the woman dash from once place to another, this time, with soldiers on her tail.
Zuko didn’t move much, but he still got a good view of the chase from where he was in the city. Then, after ducking down into a small alleyway, she reappeared atop the buildings that layered the large city.
Then, she finally disappeared among the shops and houses, close to where he was. He let out a sigh and went to the top of the tea shop where his room was (well, it was less of a room and more of a slightly large closet with a window). Once entered, he stopped in his tracks.
The painted lady was in his room.
Oh.
Oh.
This was awkward.
“Um… hey-“
“Shh,” she rushed over to him and covered his mouth with her hand. Outside, they could still hear guards running and yelling to find the woman.
Once she was certain they had left, she uncovered his mouth.
“Nice to meet you too,” Zuko said, sarcastically.
“I apologize,” She took a long pause, “I thank you for your- er, hospitality, but I must be leaving.”
“Wait!” Zuko stammered out before she left, “Guards are usually stationed around this area for the hour. And I doubt you want to be caught up in another police chase,” he rambled.
The lady pursed her lips then slightly nodded. “Thank you.”
“Yeah. I’m Zuko.”
“I- um… well- Painted Lady,” she rushed out.
“Bit of a mouthful but okay.” The lady rolled her eyes at his remark.
“Here,” he said, gesturing her to come downstairs, “my uncle makes a great tea.”
“Oh! Thanks.” She sputtered.
She and Zuko sat in a spot that was unseen from people behind the windows outside. Seeing the Painted Lady from the legends they were told as children sitting and drinking tea in the jasmine dragon would be an interesting sight. It was a good thing business was small.
“Any reason you’re here? Or do you just run away from soldiers for fun?” Iroh laughed as he dropped off a second cup of tea.
“I’m just trying to help. Though it feels like I’ve been causing a lot of harm as well,” Katara mumbled.
“Hmm,” Iroh hummed, he took a seat next to Zuko who was sitting across from Katara, “well I’ve heard great things about the business from lower classes this past day. Many people are happy there is more clean water to be accessed.” He nodded in recognition at a memory, “I know I am too.”
The Lady sighed in relief. “That’s good to hear. Thank you.” She bowed her head to Zuko then Iroh. “I should leave now. I appreciate your hospitality.”
Zuko smiled and led her back to the window in his room. When she dashed off this time, a slight scent of lavender lingered.
Next time she came by, he’d have to make sure she stayed longer.

Hello. I absolutely love your Fairy Tail head-canons, especially about demon slayer Gray. Feel free to take or leave these little ideas. Always love when you post <3
~
Imagine Team Natsu has to rent a vehicle or something and they require actual legal paperwork like a birth certificate and address or something like that (more than just “guild business! Gonna need this!”). Lucy doesn’t want to rent it because there is no way she’s going to be responsible for the inevitable damage. Erza, being the leader and a good friend volunteers. A few minutes later she comes back out, puzzled.
Erza: “why would they need a birth certificate? Shouldn’t me being present be proof enough of my existence?”
Gray starts snickering in the background. Natsu goes in next but comes out even earlier than Erza, cause at least Erza had a probably legal address at Fairy Hills, Natsu on the other hand lives in a house in the woods.
By the time Wendy goes in the receptionist is exasperated. “Yes I understand you are with Fairy Tail but that isn’t until page three of the paper work. None of you have made it past the first page.”
Gray finds this all very amusing.
Lucy: “Since you find it so amusing why don’t you go register, Gray!?”
Gray: mutters something
Natsu: “What do you mean you’re legally dead?!”
Cause you know, Ur just found a kid (the only survivor) and just decided to keep him. Oh, no official rescue crews didn’t show up until two days later? My kid now :)
The search and rescue teams never found any survivors in Gray’s old town so everyone was pronounced dead. The magic council or whoever is in charge of that stuff is also disorganized enough that no one realized that Gray Fullbuster is both a famous wizard and supposedly dead. So, just, Gray technically being considered legally dead the entire time he was at Fairy Tail.
~
Also, the slayers all going out on a job together(the dragon slayers had to drag Gray). The job turns out to be a trap (surprise!) and the floor just opens up revealing a giant vehicle.
Dark mage: “Ha-ha! I have bested the dragon slayer! The most powerful mages-“spots Gray just chilling, perfectly fine and not motion sick. “what are you doing?” Cause the guy was planning to capture dragon slayer, not whatever a demon slayer was (the dark mage didn’t even know demon slayers were a thing). Gray defeats the dark mage but holds it over Natsu’s head for a week.
After that anytime a large group of dragon slayers takes a job together they take Gray along for “extra security during transportation” or just extra security in general.
I also head-canon that each type of slayer magic has its own unique weakness. Dragon slayers get severely motion sick. God slayers are claustrophobic. Demon slayers cannot handle sweets. If Gray gets even a whiff of cake or any other dessert his gag reflex acts up and he gets really nauseous and other stuff like that. He of course hid it at first (he was afraid Erza would disown him) but eventually everyone learned about the weakness of demon slayers. Natsu teases him about it but never pushes it too far to the point of accidentally making Gray really sick.
Anyways, sorry for the long ask. Feel free to expand on anything. Always love some good slayer bonding head-canons and just Fairy Tail head-canons in general. <3
This was so much fun to make tbh so domt apologize, i love long asks <3 and thank for for what you said ant my posts! theyre fun to make so im glad ppl enjoy them
Oh, you have no idea how often ive though about Gray being legally dead, my personal favorite scenario is him trying to fix it and prove himself alive but cant
“How the fuck would i know my social security number??? i was eight years old! i had no reason to know!!!”
There was no dna or finger-print records of him or his family so he couldn’t prove it that way either. Apparently, declaring someone born or dead is easier than someone ‘resurrected’. To the law Gray of Isvan is dead and although Gray of Fiore bares similarities, they are two different people.
But ALSO to the law Gray of Fiore doesnt exist bc he has no birth certificate. And while hes adamant, he has no real proof beyond his word he is Gray Fullbuster of Isvan.
So basically, According to the law, Both Gray Fullbuster of Isvan and Fiore are dead and never existed, respectively.
tbh this sounds like an identity crisis waiting to happen, but what else is new with him
Erza probably tried to fix it after she was told bc she legally didnt exist for a minute either (never was filed as a real person, she was able to file for a late birth certificate on account that she wasnt claiming to be a ‘separate’ person and also Makarov did it for her) (dont ask why he didnt for Gray, i like plot holes). But quickly realized their situations were very different, him waiting over a decade to check in as a survivor with the proper authorities definitely weakened his case considering he was running around free before he decided he needed a birth certificate.
But hey, as long as he doesn’t need to rent something, or get a license or id, or work somewhere beyond Fairy Tail, or get married, or, god forbid, die again, he should be fine!
i wonder if he would be considered a ‘john doe’ if he actually died again since they have ‘no’ birth records
This also makes games like ‘two truths and a lie’ amazing
“alright so, im legally dead, i legally dont exist, and ive never physically died before” “Gray what the hell do you mean” “Guess the right one and ill tell you” “WHAT THE HELL DOES THIS MEAN THOUGH??”
i love everything to do with the ‘dragon slayers + gray’ dynamic
‘Extra security’ just turns into Gray babysitting a bunch of rambunctious dragons for hours. seriously, get this guy a reward for how he hasnt killed or maimed any of them yet.
Imagine them trying to convince Gray to walk to their destination instead of taking the train
“Its not that far!!” “its fucking 5 hours by train, How long do you think itll take to walk? Why would even you pick this job if you knew how long the ride would be??” … “nobody looked..” “are you actually serious.” … “oh my fucking god”
and thats the story of how one Demon slayer ended up having to babysit 4 very pitiful looking Fairy Tail Dragon slayers on a train. Dude had to drag them off it once it stopped too.
His side career of ‘Dragon Slayer Babysitter’ only gets harder when they realize holy shit! cold compresses can help nausea! and what do they have? a walking cold compress.
Taking a train trip with them just means second hand nausea AND embarrassment, and absolutely no personal space. A dream come true.
At least he gets to hold it over their heads
Tbh i like the irony of Dragon Slayers being motion sick because, yk, dragons can fly, so my hc for side effects for God Slayers and Demon Slayers were along the same lines
God Slayers being wide open space or flying since Gods are like the epitome of freedom? all knowing and have complete reign over everything, But claustrophobia works so much better for that same reason. It would cause extreme panic and rash decisions
And Demon Slayers was the dark because demons are supposed to be these evil creatures who thrive in the dark n stuff? basically it would send a Demon Slayer into a paranoid spiral.
But sweets being a weakness instead is such a silly thing that im gonna take it and run
Gray never cared for sweets in the first place, gave him a stomachache, but now he has to walk away from Erza mid conversation if she decides to indulge, which is almost everyday. She was absolutely heartbroken and devastated when the weakness was revealed, it was such a dramatic reaction one wouod think she was the one with the new weakness
When Gray pokes fun at Natsus motion sickness he’ll go on about how Gray is gonna have the lamest parties since he cant handle even the smell of sweets, especially cake.
A terrible realization for everyone involved with him, on par with when Gray realized he wouldnt be able to have ice cream comfortably again, thats like a staple for ice mages
heart wrenching, truly

Catgirl darling…
Hope this is what you wanted!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Eleanor
To say Eleanor was happy was an understatement she would adore you (And it’d probably be more bearable to be around her)
Eleanor sat at her desk filling out papers and sending men to collect money from her victims she tricked in parties or those who came to her on her own terms. A soft movement was heard behind her making Eleanor turn around instantly before she saw your tail swaying behind you and she relaxed visibly.
“Kitty!” Eleanor’s voice echoed through her office as she watched you rush over your ears perked up.
She lets you climb on her neck and wrap your arms around her neck before purring was heard making Eleanor chuckle and ruffle your hair.
"You're my everything, my reason for living. Without you, there's no purpose for me."
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alora
Alora sat behind you, her fingers tangled in your hair, gently teasing out the knots as she listened to the rhythmic purring coming from your chest. The sound was like music to her ear, a sweet melody that filled her with warmth. Your smile, so genuine mirroring her own as she lost herself in the moment.
Her touch was gentle yet possessive, a silent way of her affection for you. With each stroke of her hand, she revelled in the softness of your fur and the way it felt under her fingertips.
Your eyes twitched at her touch a sign of your enjoyment and Alora couldn't stop herself from smiling at the sight.
The room was quiet, save for the sound of your purrs and the occasional rustle of movement as Alora shifted closer to you.
Leaning in closer, Alora's voice, soft and filled with adoration, slipped into the quiet space between you.
"My sweet darling," she whispered, her breath warm against your ear, "how I adore the sound of your purrs. It's like music to my soul, a melody that soothes my heart." She paused, her fingers tracing gentle patterns along your scalp as she continued, "I could spend eternity like this, just you and me, lost in each other's embrace. You are my everything, my precious cat girl, and I will cherish you always." Her words were a vow, a promise of unwavering devotion that echoed in the stillness of the room
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Victoria
Victoria sat on her bed, her gaze fixated on you, watching your ears flicker and your tail swishing back and forth. With every step you took, every flick of her tail, Victoria's heart raced with adoration.
"Kitty?" Victoria purred, her voice dripping with sweetness and possessiveness. "Come here, won't you?"
You looked at her, your eyes sparkling with curiosity. With a gentle purr, you walked over and settled beside Victoria on her bed, surveying the aftermath of your zoomies.
Victoria ran her fingers through your fur, relishing in the warmth of your affection. She enjoyed the rumble in your chest growing louder, your ears flickering up, and your tail swaying, occasionally brushing against Victoria's back.
As she held you close, Victoria leaned in, her voice a soft whisper laced with adoration and possessiveness.
"My darling, my precious little kitty," Victoria murmured, her breath warm against your ear. "You know you mean everything to me, don't you?" She whispered, gently pinching your ear."

Arabella
Arabella dashed through the dimly lit alleyways, her figure resembling mist, her crimson eyes scanning for any sign of her beloved. She had searched for hours, consumed by the longing to finally have you by her side.
Finally, she spotted you—your figure appearing almost confused as you walked, oblivious to her presence.
With a snap of her fingers, Arabella materialized in front of you, her black wings ruffling before disappearing. "Darling," she purred, her voice a mix of disappointment and excitement. "You shouldn't wander alone at night."
Your ears twitched nervously as you gazed up at Arabella, fear and adoration swirling in your wide eyes. Despite being married, she still had the power to instill fear in you. "I'm sorry, Arabella... but you were gone for so long, I got worried," you stammered, your tail curling around your leg.
Arabella's lips curled into a predatory smile as she reached out to caress your cheek, reveling in your warmth and the way you leaned into her touch. "It's okay, kitty," she whispered, her fangs gleaming in the moonlight.
As Arabella's lips met yours in a possessive kiss, you surrendered willingly to the embrace of your vampire lover, knowing that in her arms, you were both cherished and consumed.
"Kitty, do you know why I can't resist you?" Arabella's voice was a low, sultry purr as she leaned in, her breath brushing against your skin. "It's because you're the most exquisite prey I've ever hunted. And yet, you've captured my heart in a way no one else ever could. You're mine, kitty, body and soul, forever bound to me in darkness and desire."

pairing: k. bokuto x lene (fem!reader) note: this is a writing commission (trade) for my beautiful mootie lene!! (@satorisoup) I really hope you enjoy it lovely girl ! (anyone can read but the reader has an assigned name and gender + hair color) summary: you and bokuto have been talking to each other a lot at school, one day after he wins his game he asks if he can kiss you ! content: high school au, getting together, kisses, fluff (lmk if I missed anything!!) wc: 1.4k
Tumblr media
At this point you aren't surprised to find a little note card wedged in your locker anymore. It's become muscle memory to see little, white cards with the scrawled hand-writing on it. Without much though you pick up the card and quickly scan over it.
Will you make it to tonight's game? I have a surprise if we win..
-KB :)
Bokuto's notes are usually very detailed, with ink splatters and scratched out words because of how excited he is to have you read them, so it's quite unusual for him to send such a neat note with no excitable writing. And what does he mean by a surprise? Well, you're bound to find out if he wins- no- when he wins his game.
"Hurry up, Lene! First period is starting soon," A good friend, Maya is waiting for you by the entrance to the building of Fukurodani. That cheeky girl has been entertaining the thought of you and Bokuto dating for some time. Ever since she saw him ask you out to homecoming (as a friend his words not yours) she has been teasing you about your crush on him.
"I'm coming! Let me change into my inside shoes!" You quickly slip out of your own shoes and put on the ones the school provides for wearing inside of school. It helps with the school's cleanliness.
You and Maya make a quick trip to your locker so you can get all of your textbooks and notebooks. "Sooooo, what did today's note say?" She's also very nosy, but how could she help it when she believes that she is the sole reason you and Bokuto are talking to each other? Maya believes that she's some kind of matchmaker.
"It said mind your business!" She leans in closer thinking you were going to actually tell her just to sigh and roll her eyes when you don't.
"Come onnnn I tell you all kinds of things." You've already decided once you've read it you would tell her, but what's the fun of saying it out right? Some teasing can occur.
"Fine fine, he asked if I would come to his game tonight." The nosy girl gasps in surprise, excitement laced in her next sentence, "Well, are you?!"
Her voice carries when she gets excited. A few looks are thrown your way, she quickly apologized before turning back to you for an answer.
"I don't know... i'm kinda busy tonight." You aren't busy at all, so you're pretty sure you'll go, but once again, it's quiet fun to tease her.
"Lene, you have to!! That's basically him asking you out on a date!" Her antics make you laugh a little bit, "That's a little extreme dont'cha think?"
"Nope! Not at all. Considering he didn't invite any of us, only you. Every time he has a game he'll ask all of us, but this is the first I'm hearing of a volleyball game." She's right, it's unusual for Bokuto to only ask you to go to one of his games.
Maybe there is a deeper meaning to his note? You're sure hoping so, because you've liked him since the your first year of high school.
"Okay, I'll go." A little smile blooms onto your face when you see your friend smile.
"Keep me updated!!!" Maya says whilst dragging you down the hall. Of course you will, because even if you don't, she'll figure out a way to get a status update.
Tumblr media
It's around 5:45 pm when you reach the gym for his game. It started fifteen minutes ago but you had some homework that was calling your name. Once all of it was completed you had hurried to make it to the gym without missing too much of the beginning.
As of now Fukurodani is in the lead with seven points, but don't let that fool you Nekoma is right on their tail. Also, it's only the first set, this could be anyone's game.
Tumblr media
The whole time you're on the edge of your seat, because of how exhilarating the game is. Both teams are extraordinary, Nekoma's been holding the lead but Fukurodani is able to keep up with them.
It's the last set each team has one point, so whoever wins this set will win overall. It's Bokuto's turn to serve, and before he makes his serve he looks around the crowd until his eyes lock on you.
Your cheeks immediately flush and you mouth, "You got this!"
The ace's grin almost doubles and covers his whole face. Hopefully your encouragement will help him make these serves.
The whistle blows almost immediately flipping a switch in Bokuto's head. He bounces the ball three times before tossing it up to hit it over the net.
Yaku, the ever relentless libero of Nekoma, receives Bokuto's serve. Bokuto does frown at this, Akaashi had to remind him that Yaku barely made the receive.
Tumblr media
The final whistle blows and all of Fukurodani's supporters and cheerleaders start to scream out in joy. All the boys on the court are sweaty and somewhat tired, but they still have energy to shake hands and yell out, "Good game."
Kuroo daps up Bokuto, they give each other a pat on the back and Kuroo whispers something into Bokuto's ear that causes his cheeks to flush. The captain of Nekoma has a sly smirk on his face.
What could Kuroo have told him that has him embarrassed like this?
Everyone starts to leave the gymnasium, you stay seated though, Bokuto's note replaying in your mind.
After a few minutes the man in question appears in front of the bleachers.
"Lene! You made it!! Did you see me? Did you see us?! We won!!!" Excitement bounces off of his voice. He's so adorable that you can't help giggling.
"I did, you did amazing, Kou-kun." You two have been on first name basis for some time now.
He smiles brightly at your praise. With haste you make it down from the bleachers to meet him down on the court. His golden eyes stare into yours and you aren't really sure what to do at this point.
"Heh, I'm guessing you got my note, huh?" You nod briefly, clasping your hands together behind your back.
"Lene- I-" He pauses, frustration takes over his face. You give him time though, he needs to process his words.
"Lene! I really really like you! Like not as a friend- wait! I mean I like you as a friend but I would really like you as my-"
He suddenly stops ranting and avoids your eyes. Maybe Maya was right about why he wanted to see you. You take in a slow breath before finishing his cut off sentence.
"Girlfriend?" He smiles nervously while nodding furiously.
"Yeah, I really do like you a lot. The way you smile or laugh, your voice, your kindness, even when you scold me for something, I find myself being in awe." Your eyes soften at his confession.
"Of course I'll be your girlfriend, Koutaro." Those funny eyebrows of his raise up to his forehead in shock and excitement.
"Really? Gosh I must be the luckiest guy on earth!!!" Without thinking he embraces you in a hug. It's warm and inviting, and even though he does smell of sweat, it smells awfully a lot like home to you.
The athlete keeps you in his embrace for a few minutes. He suddenly breaks the silence, "Hey, can I give you a kiss? Or is it too soon?"
You want him to kiss you, so you shake your head furiously fast. "It's not too soon. I'd be happy to kiss you Kou."
He loosens his grip on you to connect his lips with yours. It's awkward and unfamiliar at first, but after the first few pecks it feels right, like his lips were made for yours.
He pulls away first in a pout, "Gosh I don't know what I'm gonna do when I become a professional athlete and I have to leave for away games. I don't think I'll survive without your lips." He's not even joking either, the way he pouts is absolutely adorable.
"I think you'll live, I'll give you plenty of kisses before you leave and plenty when you return." Butterflies swarm your tummy when you realize that he's thinking of his future with you.

THERE ARE SPOILERS IN THIS COMIC BY THE WAY.#SONIC FRONTIERS SPOILERS#smiles gently I can not believe I let sonic the fuckign hedgehog ruin my life#(I can I totally can)#hi <3 if you follow me because I drew this sonic comic. don't!#don't do it! follow me bc I'm funny and hot and devastatingly smart don't follow me bc I draw sonic stuff. bc it won;t happen again#I mean it. not bc I dont like or want to do sonic stuff. but bc I am literally in the middle of a job rn#one that I want to invest 100% of my time and brain in#this comic is actually an effort to win my brain back so I can do my job lol#because I finished miss penny snapcube's streams of this game and it force fed me emotions#I just! I just thought sonic would come tell eggman abt sage!! idk seems like something he'd do!!!#and also the whole thing abt letting the characters move on and have a future and change and develop#vs Killing My Baby Little Guy Daughter For Like Ten Minutes#thematically interesting! also for some reasons I had. a pretty easy time drawing this#I was mouthbreathing galloping like a horse to finishing this. Because I Need To Work#I didnt expect to have a good time with these designs tho idk why. probably bc I most suck shit at drawing animals#but to be fair yet again sonic and tails are little guys. theyre animal but theyre also like dudes. also sonic's design is kinda perfect#as far as character design goes he's really pretty goo- wait I made a continuity error hol on#okay. okay I fixed it. no problem. no matter 's all good now#okay. I go sleep now. today has been very noisy. but this actually got me through it okay#thank you sonic the hedgehog. that was pretty cool of u#have a good night guys! absolute freedom is probably really really sad#long post

I really really REALLY enjoy when Hugo gets to meet people/kids and gets petted. It's fun for me to just stand back and watch, especially since he'll happily let kids get all up in his face.

showing my growth by rejecting the “every ship gets happily married and becomes wonderful parents to lovely children” mindset and admitting that many pairings should just not be parents
#long gone are my days of woobifying shadow and sanitizing sonadow down to aw cute hedgehogs and one of them is traumatized#they are RIVALS and shadow will never be that lovey dovey with sonic even if they have been dating for 30 years thats just not who he is#they can find happiness/contentment in each other like i imagined but that sprinkle of toxicity would never rlly go away#and again even if theyre perfectly happy existing like that. not a good environment for a kid!#i dont even imagine them getting married anymore like i still like my idea of the ''cat orphanage w a chao garden'' house that they live in#but they wouldnt be married. they'd be partners and sonic would live there. but he'd ''live there'' in the same way he lives with tails#in that. its a place to come back home to when needed but a lot of the time hes just elsewhere exploring and having adventures and stuff#and shadow would probably tag along on a lot of these adventures. but not all of them#also feeds into part of my idea for the future which has always been present which is just. sonic being romantically involved w a couple#other ppl (knuckles for example)#those relationships dont have a label theyre just friends and then sometimes theyll kiss or go on dates or something#he and shadow are partners. thats concrete. everything else is just fluid/undefined (also should clarify that this is in like a poly way lol#shadow is aware of these relationships and has no problem with them and sonic knows that)#anyways i didnt mean to ramble but i have been thinking about this recently#how i'd modify my older idea of sonadow in the future#thats the end. ps once again promoting the poly sonic agenda. if you look at him and you dont think hes poly. youre just wrong im sorry#(excluding aroace sonic enjoyers for obvious reasons lol)#serena.txt
