Alex pouted, her brows knitted in a frown as she stared blankly at your post; constantly refreshing it to see whether or not you replied to her comment yet.
But every time she does, she gets disappointed—not seeing your reply just makes her grow fonder of your presence.
With a deep sighed, Alex turned off her phone and buried her face in y/n’s favorite pillow. The one she uses every time they sleep, the one that has her lingering smell on it, and the one Charles and Alex coddles up whenever they miss you. Which is constantly so they fight about whoever gets it.
Alex stared blankly at the ceiling, her mind was clouded with the thoughts of you. She just misses you so much it’s killing her. Literally.
The only reason you were out was because of your job; you love modeling that’s why they couldn’t have the guts to stop you from going. But now they just wished that they stopped you.
“Ughhhhh” she sighed, dragging the h along the tone of her boredness. Her voice echoing around the empty room which caught the attention of their boyfriend.
“What’s the matter, bébé?” Charles asked, peeking his head into the doorframe.
Alex lazily dragged her head up to face charles. “Everything’s cool, i just miss her is all” she mumbled, her voice laced with sadness and longing.
Charles smiled emphatically, he knows what it’s like to miss you— he’s going through that too but he’s not taking it as hard like Alex though. He’s trying to act strong for the both of them, i mean someone has to, right?
Alex felt the couch dipped down as Charles sat besides her frame. “Should we call y/n and see what’s she’s up to?” He asked, rubbing soft circles around her back.
“No” she replied all muffled due to her head still facing down and resting on your pillow.
She wanted them to call you; to hear your sweet voice. Alex wanted nothing more than that, but then again she doesn’t want to disturb you and ruin your fun.
“Let’s just watch a movie and try to get our minds of her, yeah?” Sighing defeatedly, alex nodded her head and muttered a low ‘sure’ making Charles smile happily.
So that’s what they did, they watched a movie, and ate all the food they could find in the house until they fell asleep.
They woke up the very next day— saw your recent post and started to miss you like crazy again.

Starkillerchaser?
Someone requested starkillerchaser (Barty/Reg/James) so here I am, disappointing my parents more by writing a threesome. Enjoy!
Warning! NSFW, EXPLICIT, MINORS DNI
Regulus let out a whine, the high pitch leaving his throat solely of its own accord. He would’ve been embarrassed if he wasn’t so distracted.
“There you go, baby,” a deep voice mumbled into his ear, hands gripping at his hips tightly. “You take me so well.”
He moaned again, this time longer, more visceral, the result of the cock inside him moving so deeply that he felt it in his throat. He knew that if he moved his hands (currently clasped tightly around the neck of the man in front of him) to his flat stomach, he would feel a bump there, from the way he was being penetrated so entirely.
“James,” he gasped, shifting his hips so he rode James’s cock harder, took him more, eliciting a gasp from both of them. “Please- more.”
“You want more, baby?” Another voice said from behind him, a hand trailing over his spine and making him shiver. “Want both of us to fill you, love?”
“Please, B. Please, yes,” Regulus panted, allowing James to continue to fuck him from the front as Barty’s lubed finger slipped into his arse. “Both of you, please.”
“He’s such a slut,” Regulus heard Barty mumble to James as he slipped another finger into Regulus’s stretched hole. “Such a good boy for us.”
Allowing himself to completely let go, Regulus groaned, falling forward into James’s chest, James’s cock shifting inside him as Barty’s fingers pulled him apart. It was too much, but not enough. He needed more. “Need your cock, Barty,” he whispered into James’s sweat-soaked neck, his thighs screaming as he tried and failed to lift himself up to fuck himself on both fingers and cock.
“Well, we have to give our baby what he wants,” James cooed, sitting back a bit to shift Regulus and give Barty a better angle. Regulus felt James’s head shift, so he was looking at Barty. “Think we can make him scream, B?”
“I think so,” Barty agreed lightly, and before Regulus could utter a single word, he felt Barty’s cock fill him in one sure push.
Barty and James both groaned at the feeling of the tightening of Regulus’s body, the closeness of nearly sandwiching Regulus between them. Barty’s arms wrapped around both Regulus and James, pulling all of them together as one sweaty, sticky, unbearably hot mess.
But Regulus- Regulus let out a wanton groan, so loud and animalistic that he nearly came with the sensation of being filled so completely and by both of his lovers.
But his reaction didn’t satisfy James or Barty, who were grinning at each other through hazy, sweaty, half-lidded gazes. “Together?” James asked, snaking his hand between himself and Regulus to Regulus’s small, red, swollen cock, resting his fingers there and making Regulus whine.
“Go, Jamie,” Barty grunted, hardly able to stay still.
And with that, both men began to shift their hips, fucking into Regulus with abandon, all while James’s skilled fingers flicked at his cock with such precision that soon, the man in between them was screaming both their names, coming completely undone as heat built and broke at the base of his spine, come flooding down his legs and over his two lovers.
James and Barty both groaned as well, falling over the edge within seconds of each other, spilling into Regulus and gasping, clinging onto each other desperately.
And as the three men came down from their high, it was James who spoke first, one hand stroking Regulus’s tangled curly hair, the other still clasping Barty’s hand.
“Dibs on the shower first,” he said, grinning madly at his two husbands.

Furiosa thoughts
Tumblr media
About 48 hours after watching, I think my take on Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is coalescing into: I enjoyed it as a Mad Max movie but found it disappointing as a Fury Road prequel.
Any Mad Max movie made after Fury Road was always going to suffer the fate of being compared to Fury Road, which is the best action movie ever made. So like, compared to any other action movie you can think of, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (we'll call it FMMS going forward) is very very good! It just isn't Fury Road.
The rest is under the cut for spoilers:
The action sequences were compelling. (I was aware I was hunched forward in my seat in tension/anticipation almost the entire time.) Some of them were even brilliant. That long sequence where the Octoboss and the Mortiflyers (yes those are their names) are attacking the War Rig with all kinds of airborne contraptions? Phenomenal. I was like yes okay now we are in a Mad Max movie! Other than that one sequence, though, in which we see Furiosa and Praetorian Jack begin to trust each other, I thought they rarely achieved the kind of wordless advancement of character relationships through action beats that is the lifeblood of Fury Road. So the action was good, but it was just normal-good, not Fury Road transcendent.
I did miss John Seale's cinematography. While I thought the action choreography was great, the shot selection was just not as dynamic and interesting as in Fury Road. I also really did not vibe with so much of the musical themes being recycled from Fury Road. The Fury Road score is SO memorable and the music is such an integral part of the momentum and feeling of every scene in the movie; I can play that score and see every beat of the action unfolding in my brain now. I wanted new score that felt like it was a part of this new action that we were seeing.
I loved all the new worldbuilding details and finally getting to see inside Gastown and the Bullet Farm. Those locations and their unique features were utilized really well for the action that took place in them. Loved the new details we got about the Citadel. The grappling hooks just dipping down to yoink people's vehicles during battle? Fantastic. The hidden Citadel ledge with the little pool of water?? That was such a fanfic-ready location. Pretty sure I already wrote at least one fic set there back in like 2016.
The Green Place! Very different from what I imagined but so much worldbuilding in just a few shots.
In general I thought the new cast rose to the challenge. Alyla Browne who played little kid Furiosa I thought was phenomenal actually. That's a tough role, both emotionally and physically, for a child actor and she slayed it. Casting Indigenous model and actress Charlee Fraser to play Furiosa's mother certainly made the Stolen Generation parallels more obvious. I'll have a lot more to say about Dementus down below, but Chris Hemsworth brought a great combo of bonkers and menacing.
I never doubted that Anya Taylor-Joy could bring the emotional intensity needed to the role--she can do crazy eyes like nobody's business, and with the growl she put in her voice she really did sound like Charlize Theron a bit. I found her physicality convincing for a young Furiosa. But she is not Charlize, through no fault of her own. Charlize is tall and she has broad shoulders and she just takes up so much space when moving and fighting as Furiosa and I think it was always going to be hard to replicate that. As long as they didn't try too hard to bridge the gap between the characters I was fine with it. But that one scene at the end where she's bringing the Wives to the Rig I was very viscerally like that is NOT our Furiosa. (I almost wish they would've used Charlize's stunt double for that scene the way they popped Jacob Tomuri into Max's place.) They could have simply left a time gap--based on the "15 years" she says to Dementus and the 7,000+ days we hear about in Fury Road there should be at least a 4-year gap between the film timelines, although in terms of bridging the look of the two actors it feels like it should be more like 10 years.
If FMMS had been a self-contained movie about a character named Furiosa in the Mad Max universe, I think I would have found it very satisfying. But as a prequel to Fury Road there were a bunch of ways I thought it was lacking on a story level.
I think it's pretty clear that this is not the backstory, or at least not the complete backstory, that Charlize Theron was imagining while playing Furiosa. Which...there's nothing objectively wrong with that; word of God and what actors think about their characters doesn't supersede what's on film for determining what is canon. However, Fury Road positions Joe as Furiosa's main antagonist, and while we don't get the full story behind the incandescent rage she directs at him, we know that rage is there and is a big part of her motivation. In interviews at the time, Charlize talked about the idea that Furiosa had been stolen to be a Wife but then was discovered to be infertile and discarded, how she survived by hiding in the Citadel and eventually rose to a position of power, how she saw her actions not as saving the Wives but as stealing them, and that her motivation at least starts out as more about hurting Joe than helping these women.
We get only the tiniest suggestion of Furiosa's backstory in Fury Road ("I was taken as a child, stolen") and the rest we piece together by implication. She is a healthy full-life woman working for a man who keeps healthy full-life women as sex slaves, hoping one of them will produce a viable male heir for him. She is effectively a general in his army, projecting his power on the wasteland, a position no other woman seems to occupy. She tells Max she is seeking "redemption." Redemption for what? She doesn't say. But "whatever she has done to win a position of power within this misogynist death cult" seems like a pretty obvious answer.
And that's interesting! That's an interesting backstory that engages with some of the core themes and moral questions of the Mad Max universe. These movies deal a lot with the tension between self-preservation and human connection. Do you screw someone else over to protect yourself? Even if it means putting them in the terrible position that you yourself have clawed your way out of? Even if it means enforcing your own oppressor's power over them? Or do you take the risk of helping people and caring enough to connect with them, even though this carries an emotional and physical risk?
FMMS doesn't really engage with Furiosa's relationship to Joe like, at all. It's not like Joe comes off looking like a good guy. He's just hardly in the movie. I don't know if this would have been different if Hugh Keays-Byrne were still alive. I don't know if there was pressure from the studio to cast an A-list male lead actor alongside Anya Taylor-Joy (who's a hot commodity now but wasn't what I would call an A-lister when she was originally cast). I don't know if, once Chris Hemsworth was cast, that affected how central his character's role became, since he is certainly the biggest name attached to the film. I would have actually been fine with Chris Hemsworth or another actor of his ilk playing a younger Joe, and us getting to see some of the charisma that attracted followers to him.
But the end result is that we have Dementus, who is a perfectly fine Mad Max villain, and quite entertaining at times! But not the most compelling antagonist you could give Furiosa.
The four Mad Max movies that feature Max go through an interesting evolution. In the first two movies, the villains are people "outside" society--criminals and roving gangs--and the people Max is defending are "civilization." So we have Mad Max where Max is a very fucked-up cop, and Road Warrior where Max is the prototypical western gunslinger, riding in to town to protect the settlement from an outside threat, but ultimately unable to accept any of the comforts of civilization for himself.
Then in Thunderdome and Fury Road, the dynamic switches. Now the antagonists are warlords and dictators. They are civilization. And the people Max ends up helping are trying to escape them.
To me, Dementus feels much more like the earlier kind of Mad Max villain. If there's another Mad Max movie I can most compare FMMS to, it's the first one. Dementus is Furiosa's Toecutter. (Kills her family, gives her her signature disabling injury, movie ends with her seeking revenge on him but it doesn't feel heroic or triumphant.) The whole end of FMMS when Furiosa is implacably hunting down Dementus? Extremely Mad Max 1.
But violent revenge holds a different symbolic place in Furiosa's story than it does in Max's. The end of Mad Max is a tragedy because Max tells us it is. He explicitly states, early in the movie, that he needs to stop being a cop or he'll become no different than the violent criminals he's pursuing. So he leaves his job and goes on an extended weird vacation with his wife and child, trying to get away from the violence of a collapsing society. But that violence finds him anyway, and by the end of the movie, Max has become the exact thing he said he didn't want to be. It's a tragedy not because the people Max kills in revenge for killing his family don't deserve it, but because seeking violent sadistic revenge is damaging to Max. That is not what he needs in order to heal from the loss of his wife and child. What he needs is to take the risk of human connection again. This is what he starts groping toward in the following two movies and fully realizes in Fury Road.
But Furiosa doesn't have the same arc. Her story in Fury Road is about how a few people struggling against their oppressor can be the catalyst that brings down a whole regime. Furiosa getting to rip Joe's face off is fucking satisfying, and it's supposed to be! So it's a bit weird, then, to spend an entire movie giving her a backstory that not only is not about Joe at all, but implies that seeking and getting revenge against Dementus for killing her mother and Jack is what made her into the person we see in Fury Road.
Aside from questions of revenge, what I thought Furiosa's goal was going to be is set up in the beginning of the movie. "No matter what happens, find your way home." Very clear objective there. And then we see her try to get home like, 1.5 times. I thought we were well set up to follow the tried and true film story format of "simple goal, big obstacles, high stakes." I wanted to see her trying over and over again to get home, and being thwarted in different ways every time. I wanted to see grief and guilt over her mother's death turn her mother's last command into a mission for which she would sacrifice anything (and anyone) else. I wanted to see her justify working for Joe and accumulating power in the violent world of the Citadel as what she has to do in order to get home. I wanted to see "Have you done this before?" "Many times." But we didn't really get that either.
Ultimately, I think the least frustrating way to think about the film--which the film itself encourages--is as one of many possible Wasteland legends about a character called Furiosa. Maybe it happened this way. Maybe it didn't. Maybe this is the Furiosa we see in Fury Road. Maybe it isn't. It all depends on how much you believe of the History Man's tales.

Eddie grumbles under his breath as he locks the office door and steps out into the dark street.
Don’t get him wrong, he loves his job. Hellfire Records is his baby. Making music, working with all sorts of different artists and bands, helping them make a name for themselves - it’s everything he ever wanted and never thought he could have growing up in the smalltown hell of Hawkins, Indiana.
What he doesn’t love is the meetings and the paperwork and the phone calls, especially on days like this, when it all drags on until well into the night.
The echoes of his boots bounce off the empty streets as he makes his way towards the little diner at the corner. Checking his wristwatch, he swears again. Fuck, it’s even later than he thought. What if Steve’s shift is already over? The thought makes his stomach clench with an unpleasant feeling that distinctly feels like disappointment. The realization makes him pause and furrow his brow.
Maybe it’s a little bit pathetic, how quickly his visits to the diner have become the highlight of his day. Maybe it’s a little bit weird that he hasn’t had dinner anywhere else in literal weeks. Maybe it’s a little bit creepy, this obsession with a boy he knew fleetingly in highschool. An obsession that makes him come by every single day after work, without fail, just to chew on soggy fries and greasy burgers and watch said boy waiting tables, gliding around like an angel in chunky roller skates and stupidly short shorts.
Maybe he has a problem.
And maybe he doesn’t care.
Because for all his initial reluctance and bite, Steve has actually started coming around. Has been accepting Eddie’s money and attempts at conversation with barely a complaint. Has even stopped asking why Eddie keeps ordering way too much food for one person alone, taking the leftovers behind his counter to munch on. Hell, last week when Eddie came in, he even looked up from the order he was taking and flashed him a wave and smile. Eddie rode that high all night and well into the next day.
It’s the memory of that smile that makes him pick up his steps. Maybe, if he’s lucky, he’ll catch Steve at the tail end of his shift and convince him to stay around for a little longer.
The diner is empty, except for a lone person in uniform wiping down tables behind the neon-lit window pane. It isn’t Steve. Eddie spares one glance at the bored-looking girl and turns away with an annoyed groan. That’s it, he thinks, pulling his headphones from his pocket and slamming them on with a little more force than strictly necessary. Tonight officially sucks. Time to go home and fix himself some SpaghettiOs, turn on a late night show and fall asleep in front of the-
For the rest of his life, he’ll thank fate for making him fumble with his discman. Because if he’d hit the play button a second earlier, he would never have heard the voices. But this way, he does, and this way, he halts his steps, peering into the narrow side alley with a wrinkled brow. The light of the streetlamps only reaches so far, and everything he can see are the dumpsters and old cardboard boxes at its entrance. Beyond them, everything is dark.
“Dude, get your hands off me, I said no.”
Steve.
Eddie is halfway around the dumpsters before he even knows it, heart beating in his ribcage like a jackhammer. The alley reeks of piss and rotting garbage. At its far end, almost hidden behind another dumpster, are two figures. Eddie can’t make out their faces, but he also doesn’t need to. The colorful uniform is unmistakable, even in the murky half-light, even though it’s paired with a pair of sneakers rather than roller skates. And besides, he’d know that ridiculously floofy hairdo anywhere.
He doesn’t know the other man. Only knows that the guy's hands are grabbing Steve’s arms and shoulders hard enough to leave marks as he attempts to wrestle him to his knees.
“C’mon, don’t be like that,” the man hisses just as Eddie rounds the dumpster. “I’ll make it quick.”
“Are you deaf or stupid?” Steve sneers, trying to struggle out of his hold. “I said get your fucking hands off me.”
The man slaps him across the face. Steve makes a pained noise and loses his balance, going down on his knees on the dirty ground.
The man laughs, curt and mean.
“There you go,” he coos. One of his hands grabs a fist full of chestnut hair while the other reaches for the half-undone fly of his pants. “Now be a good little slut and-”
The force of the impact sends the discman tumbling from Eddie’s pocket. It shatters on the ground somewhere, parts flying in all directions, but he doesn’t have eyes for it. Instead, he grabs the asshole by the lapels of his cheap suit and hauls him against the nearest wall. The back of the asshole’s head hits the bricks, and Eddie thinks he hears something crack. Good.
“Eddie?”
While the man sags against the wall, groaning and cradling his head, Eddie whirls on Steve. Steve, who's just swaying to his feet, eyes wide and shocked. His cheek is flushed and starting to bruise.
“Shit,” Eddie swears. “Are you-”
Pain explodes inside his skull, sudden and all consuming. He stumbles, trying to keep his footing and cracks his head on the hard metal edge of the dumpster in the process. He manages to blink the stars from his vision just in time to see the man's fist flying at him. The blow makes his ears ring and copper flood his mouth, and when he regains his senses, he's on the ground with two hands closing around his throat.
“Thought you'd play the hero, huh?” The man's grin is a manic grimace. A glob of spit hits Eddie’s cheek. “Well, how'd that work out for you, you stupid little-”
“Hey, shitface!”
The man snarls and turns. Eddie doesn’t see what happens, just knows that something goes crunch and suddenly the hands pressing down on his windpipe are gone. The man's voice turns into a high-pitched wail of pain.
Eddie rolls around, coughing and gasping for air, and props himself up on his elbows. The man has shrunk against the next wall, clutching at his face. Crimson blood is bubbling out from between his fingers, hitting the alley floor in a steady pattern of drips.
“Fuck off,” Steve says and lowers the hand holding the roller skate. His voice is deadly calm, his face steely. “Remember to put away your dick first.”
The guy stares at him. Steve raises the roller skate again, just a little. The asshole whimpers and scrambles upright, mumbling something to himself. Eddie thinks he catches something about fucking lunatic fags, but he can't be sure, what with the way his voice comes out all wet and garbled. And then he's gone, nearly tripping over his own feet in his haste to get away.
Steve drops the roller skate.
“Fuck,” be whispers, crouching down next to Eddie and brushing hesitant fingers over his split lip. Ten minutes ago, Eddie would’ve given anything to feel those hands on his face, but now he winces and recoils at the sting of pain.
Steve retracts his hand, flopping down on the ground with a heavy sigh. The shorts ride up with the movement, exposing strong, muscled thighs. His knees are scraped from hitting the asphalt, little droplets of blood beading on the torn skin.
“What’d you go and do that for?” Steve asks, scrubbing a hand down his face. All of the steel is gone from his voice. He sounds tired instead, infinitely tired. “I had it under control.”
Eddie can’t help it, he barks a laugh. “Oh, did you, big boy? When was that, exactly? When he backhanded you? Or when he had you by the hair and was about to shove his cock down your-”
“Yeah, well, I’m not the one who got punched and choked half to death!” Steve snaps.
Eddie opens his mouth to argue, then shuts it again. The boy has a point, sort of. He doesn’t need a mirror to tell which one of them is looking the worse for wear right now, not with the white-hot pain still throbbing through his face with every heartbeat.
“He didn’t choke me half to death,” he mutters lamely. Steve huffs a humorless laugh.
“Thanks, anyway,” he then says. It comes out so quietly that Eddie nearly misses it, and when he looks up, Steve has averted his eyes. Eddie has an acute flashback to their first meeting at the diner, when Steve reluctantly accepted his tip money. “Could’ve gone a lot worse if you hadn’t shown up.”
Eddie feels his mouth tug into a grin, even though his lip stings like an entire beehive.
“Anytime, Stevie. Now c’mon, let’s get outtaaaaah, shit.”
Trying to stand is a bad idea. The moment he’s upright, another firework of pain goes off behind his temples and the ground tilts out from under him. The only thing that saves him from going right down again is Steve jumping to his feet and looping one of Eddie’s arms around his shoulders.
“Shit, he got you good,” he mutters. Eddie can only hum in agreement, too preoccupied with keeping the meager contents of his stomach down. “We should probably get you somewhere with a first aid kit at least.”
“‘s okay,” Eddie slurs, inadvertently leaning closer into Steve’s warmth. He smells of shampoo and frying fat and blood. “I’ll be fine, I live nearby.”
Steve’s eyes flit over his face, then off to the side, then back to his face again. He licks his lips and even in his dazed state, Eddie can clearly see how he wars with himself. Finally, he gulps and straightens his spine.
“Okay,” he says, adjusting Eddie’s weight on his shoulders. “Let’s go then.”
It’s weird, Eddie thinks as they start to hobble their way down the dark street. He must’ve fantasized a thousand times about taking Steve Harrington home, but never once did he think it’d play out like this. Then again, things in his life rarely go as he imagines, so he supposes he’s just gonna roll with it.

The stone walls will keep the words
Jacaerys Targaryen x sister!reader
Word Count: 1K
Warning: kinda angst, typical canon incest, mention of bastardy, mention of deaths.
Summary: Jacaerys and Reader spend some time alone.
note: I was going to wait until June to post this but I got really excited, so here it is! This is the first time I write to my future king Jace
Tumblr media
Jacaerys continued stroking your fingers gently, as if he was afraid of hurting you, even though all the touches that were directed from him to you were always delicate. The two of you were facing the immense sea that surrounded the island of Dragonstone, on one of the balconies outside the black stone castle. Jace seemed to become more careful around you when his engagement to Baela was announced, he knew it had hurt you and he couldn't do anything about it. He may be young, but he was honorable and would not break up the union or disappoint his bride. But he loved you.
You were Rhaenyra's daughter, Jace's younger sister, older than Luke. You were supposed to marry Jacaerys, as was the tradition of your house, but your mother preferred to form political alliances rather than continue the tradition of bloodline purity for her children. She needed to find you a husband, including.
You sighed and pulled your hand from Jace's, making him turn to face you with his eyebrows raised in confusion.
"You should go back to the council room, mom should be waiting for you." you comment.
"I wanted us to spend the morning together, I don't think mom will think it's bad, it's been a while since we've done anything together." he replies, his jaw clenching slightly.
"I don't think it's appropriate."
"What do you mean?"
"You have a fiancée, it's not acceptable for you to spend more time with me than your fiancée." you respond.
"You're my sister, first and foremost." he sounds slightly irritated.
"Do you think this is taken into account given the history of our dynasty? The rumors don't care about our blood connection."
Jace turns his face forward and you look at him from the corner of your eye, seeing him clench his fists slightly. Sighing sadly, you remember what a silly girl you used to be, thinking that you would bring pride to your family by marrying your brother and continuing your family's pure bloodline. You loved Jace, you loved him as a brother and as a man, he was the one you wanted to spend the rest of your life with, you knew he would protect and love you, you knew you would be safe in his arms.
But your mother, the queen, thought on the political side, not the sentimental side. Rhaenyra loved you so much, you were her only little girl, she wanted everything that was best for you, she knew that no one would protect you better than her firstborn, her pride, Jace. But politics put pressure on her, she needed alliances to stay on the throne, and to guarantee Jacaerys' ascension when it was his turn.
Despite all the pain in your heart, you were proud of your older brother for the honorable man he was becoming, honoring his commitment and his future wife. You adored Baela, she was your cousin and you enjoyed spending time with her and Rhaena. Jace couldn't have a better wife.
"She's going to send you to get allies?" he asked after a while.
"You know better. Mom never sends me to things like that, she's scared for me." you respond with an annoyed flourish of your head.
Your mother did her best to make sure you didn't leave her sight for too long, she would find another purpose for you during these difficult times, you were sure. Perhaps now she would find you a husband, offering your hand as a favor to some noble house. You hated it all, but you understood how things worked, women never earned much.
"When will you claim a dragon? Or get an egg? I heard that Syrax had a new litter." Jace asked after a while more silence.
"I don't know, I don't know how to ride, you know." you replied, squinting a little against the sun. "Maybe now that the war is about to start, it will be of good use if I have one."
"War?"
"The first blow will not come from our mother, but the war will happen, for sure, the ass sits on our mother's throne in King's Landing." you begin to play with the fabric of the sleeves of your dress.
"I missed your sense of humor, little sister." he let out a nasal laugh and turned his handsome face to you, making you look at him sideways.
"Do you think we're going to die?" you ignore his compliment and watch his smile die.
"What question is that?"
"You know, our uncles are capable of anything."
"I don't think they would kill us." Jace responds, still looking at you.
"Luke took his eye out."
"To defend me, Aemond would have killed me."
What a mess your family has become. Your grandfather was to blame for marrying someone who didn't have a drop of Valyrian blood, the daughter of a bloodsucker who wanted to put his own blood on the throne at any cost. This was the price to be paid for Viserys' weakness: your family torn apart and a war between kin ready to break out at any moment.
Jace interrupted your thoughts when he pulled your hand away again, wrapping it inside his warm palm, making you face him.
"No matter what happens, I will always protect you and our siblings." he says firmly, looking you in the eyes. You knew it was true.
"Thank you." you say without many expressions.
That was one of the things you didn't know where you got it from, the face was always stoic, the voice was the same, without expressing much of what he felt. Your mother said it was a quality of yours, so you could live longer without anyone knowing what was going on in your head. Jace lets go of your hand and pulls you into a tight hug, making you feel short of breath from the way he pressed himself against you, he looked desperate. You wrapped your arms around him and hugged him too, putting your face in his neck, smelling the sand in his long hair. It was said and done: you would never feel safe in other arms, only your brother's.
"I love you." Jacaerys says, voice muffled in your hair. "I will always love you."
You pulled away and looked your older brother in the eyes. Words were not necessary. You just stared at him and silently said that you loved him too. And that your heart belonged to him, and him alone. Forever.

"Can we take a photo and send it to Wooyoung hyung?" Kyungmin asks Y/N before stuffing his face with another spoonful of ice cream. “Show him what he’s missing.”
“Sure thing," She laughs, grabbing her phone. Kyungmin scoots over, holding his ice cream up. She snaps a few photos - one with them smiling, one with them pulling a silly face, and one with them pretending to be sad.
After sending the pictures to Wooyoung, she sets her phone down and resumes enjoying her ice cream. "How about going to the arcade next and then grabbing some snacks for our movie night?"
Kyungmin eagerly agrees, "Can I still choose the movie this time?"
Before she can respond, her phone rings. It's Wooyoung video calling her. Kyungmin quickly moves closer to be in the frame, almost sitting on her lap.
"You guys seem to be having a blast," Wooyoung smiles after she answers the call, watching them through the screen. "I wish I could've been there with you."
It was supposed to be free weekend for Y/N and Wooyoung. His little brother has been pleading for months to spend the weekend with them. When they found out they were both supposed to have this weekend free, Wooyoung contacted his parents and arranged for Kyungmin to stay with them.
Unfortunately, the night before, Hongjoong called and asked if Wooyoung could come to the studio so they could rework one of the songs they’ve been working on. Kyungmin was obviously disappointed that his big brother wasn’t about to go through with what they originally planned.
However, when Y/N offered to take him out for ice cream and to the nearby arcade, he became excited again. In fact, he seemed even more thrilled about that than what Wooyoung had initially planned. He even teased Wooyoung, bragging about ice cream and saying that Y/N likes him more than him, her own husband.
Naturally, this made Wooyoung pouty until she reassured him that he is, without a doubt, her favourite Jung Brother.
Kyungmin exclaims with a huge grin, "We’re having so much fun! After ice cream, we're heading to the arcade. I'm going to win all the prizes!"
Wooyoung jokingly asks, "Hey, can you win something for me?"
His brother replies with a straight face, "Nope, I'm going to win something for Y/N but not you because you’re not here." The mischievous twinkle in his eyes gives away his playful intentions.
“Yah! I’d be there if I could,” he starts rambling. “Blame Hongjoong hyung. It’s his fault that I can’t be with you. I’ll take you to the arcade tomorrow before I drop you off home. You can win me something then. Okay? Okay.”
"I'm sure we can win something for you," Y/N says as her and Kyungmin giggle at his rambles. "You won't miss out, Jagi. I promise."
He's about to say something when San calling him could be heard in the background. "I have to go but I'll see you both later. Enjoy the rest of your day out. I love you both," he says blowing them kisses through the screen.
"I love you too," Y/N & Kyungmin say at the same time. The call ends and Y/N places her phone in her handbag.
As they finish their ice cream and make their way to the arcade, Kyungmin's excitement grows. He rambles just as fast as his brother does about all the games he wants to play and the prizes he hopes to win. Y/N can't help but smile at his enthusiasm, grateful that she could still salvage the weekend for him despite the change in plans.
At the arcade, Kyungmin's eyes light up as he ran from game to game, trying his hand at everything. Y/N watches fondly as he concentrates intently, his determination evident in the way he furrowed his brow and stuck out his tongue in concentration, just the same way his brother does. She joins in when he asks for her help or when he needs a second player. He also has Wooyoung's competitive spirit.
After a few hours of gaming, Kyungmin began to grow bored. With a bag full of prizes, he asks Y/N if they could go get the snacks for movie night and then head home. She agreed and they made their way to the convenience store.
Tumblr media
Later that evening, when Wooyoung returned home, he found the lights dimmed and the faint sound of the TV playing in the background. Kicking off his shoes, he enters the living room seeing Y/N and Kyungmin on the couch. Kyungmin is laying down, his head on Y/N's lap, sound asleep as she absentmindedly runs her fingers through the boy's hair, watching the ending of the second movie they put on.
"Sorry, I'm home late," he says leaning down to press a kiss to her lips before placing a kiss on his brother's head.
"It's okay," she tells him, smiling reassuringly. "We saved you dinner and some snacks. Kyungmin wanted to wait up for you and show you all his prizes he won."
"How long has he been asleep for?" he asks, looking down at his sleeping brother.
"About 20 minutes," she replies.
"I'll go put him in bed," he says, picking him up carefully to not wake him. He carries him into the guest bedroom and puts him to bed.
He leaves the room, finding Y/N in the kitchen heating up his dinner. Wrapping his arms around her from behind, he places his hands on her stomach and kisses her shoulder. "You're going to be an amazing eomma."
"And you're going to be an amazing, Appa," She smiles, turning around, handing him his food.
"Even though our original plans completely blew up in our faces?" he asks, still feeling some guilt over how things went.
"That has nothing to do with whether you'll be a good father or not. There will always be plans that will need to be changed and that's okay. We just make new plans instead," she assures him.
"I love you," he smiles, taking his food and kissing her once more.
"I love you too," she replies, kissing him back. "Now go eat and look at the table."
Wooyoung walks over to the table and takes a seat. In front of him are all the prizes Kyungmin won at the arcade but what catches his eyes is the black cat stuffed to with a note written in Kyungmin's handwriting.
"To Wooyoung Hyung, thank you for being the best big brother. I love you."

I feel moved to speak, sooner rather than later because I believe time is of the essence and this needs to be understood in order to keep Moonvale from crumbling to the ground completely.
This is not completely spoiler heavy, but it will discuss the game. I should note that unfortunately I have not finished the episode because I am struggling with the mini games in making progress. So I do not know how the episode ends, but I need to say this in order for me to rest.
I am very angry and disappointed with this game, and even more than that, I hold a great deal of second hand embarrassment for Everbyte.
One of the greatest reasons I respected these developers during Duskwood is that the game never felt like a cash grab like so many games do these days. The option to make a one time payment for complete access to Duskwood was fantastic, an option they should have carried to here and that is the biggest grievance I have.
There is no reason a game should cost hundreds of dollars to experience and enjoy. There is no reason for the prices of gems to be as expensive as they are. This is unacceptable Everbyte, and you should feel ashamed of it, you should know better.
The beauty of Duskwood and what set it apart was its feel of realism and the fact that every question had a reasonable answer. Your use of AI art has cheapened the look of your game, not enhanced it, not to mention it’s insulting to use generated art when there are many artists who are already losing jobs to AI, artists who would have been happy to work with you if given the chance. If the cost of commission is too high, then use of stock photos you had before was just fine, and I believe you should have kept it, I can’t look at Ash and Charlie’s profiles without it striking me as goofy.
Furthermore, the story does not make sense, we were able to read chats because Jake made it possible for us, now it just feels like the return of a gimmick with no explanation, the same with the mini games, in the past we did mini games to “hack” into Hannah’s cloud, now we do it “just because”. It’s lost its feeling of meaning, not to mention most private chats are behind the gem paywall, which we never had to deal with before!
The characters seem more plain to me, or maybe they are loveable but I’ll never know because again, paywall. I can’t read the premium options and get to know them deeper because of it. There are also no profiles like before, which is awful because we can’t look back on past video calls and links and we can’t see what these characters are all about, their personality is gone.
Even MC’s answer options seem blander, more vanilla, repetitive or one directional.
I say this truthfully from my soul, if this was the style of of game you dropped but for Duskwood instead, I never would have played it.
I would have never fallen in love with it.
I would have never made this blog and would never have waited years for every episode and a new game.
I would have never made art and countless theories.
I would have deleted the game immediately.
So I’m asking you, begging you, please change this for our sakes, and especially for yours.
Because despite all my gripes and anger, and everything I’ve said, I know you guys have actually worked hard on this game because the evidence is there, hidden beneath it all.
I love the actual real life people you have for Adam and Eric, I was so moved to help Adam when he started to cry. I want to know why he knows us and wants our help. I laughed when Eric told us he had tripped, and I do want to get to know him. I even wished to lovingly twist Charlie’s neck! That is the game I remember loving, its writing and characters, I can see the potential here.
But you need to change something, otherwise I cannot support this game, I cannot force myself to play it. I will drop Moonvale.
Give the players a one time payment option for 100% complete access to the game, access to all premium options. That’s the least I feel anyone could ask of you and is biggest reason you are getting this backlash.
To my fellow players, if you agree with any of what I said then I ask you not to pay for anything until Everbyte changes to make their game more affordable. Don’t be quiet and please voice your opinions everywhere they can see it. That’s the only way something could change.
I am so sorry this is what we got… you all deserve better.

✰ pairing ⤫ fem!bsf!reader x gabe perreault
✰ synopsis ⤫ in which gabe and his best friend finally get together after pining for each other for a long time and now they have to make up for lost time
✰ content ⤫ just some sweet fluff. obliviousness. me writing friends to lovers AGAIN. abrupt ending? suggestiveness at the end maybe…
✰ 💭 ⤫ gabe and friends to lovers? I simply had to! as always I hope you enjoy and please do tell me what you think <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You were sitting in the dining hall next to Gabe, pressed into his side, his hand on your thigh drawing patterns absentmindedly. The guys were bickering back and forth but he wasn’t really paying attention, he was too focused on you. He fights a smile when you steal another grape off his tray, trying to be sneaky.
"Oh before I have to leave…" you say turning your body even more in Gabe's direction and putting your hand on his thigh and scrolling through your phone.
He bites his lip and takes a deep breath, trying to stop the fluttering feeling in his stomach as you show him two pictures of different colours.
“Okay, this one or this one?” you ask, swapping between the two photos.
“I like that one more, it’s the school’s colours.” Gabe says referring to the picture of the maroon nail polish.
“I like that one too. I gotta go or I’m gonna be late, but I’ll see you tonight?” you ask, dropping a kiss to Gabe’s cheek as you leave, bidding goodbye to the rest of the guys at the table.
“Dude, when are you gonna ask her out?” Ryan asks
“Never, we’re not like that.” Gabe answers
“Really? Cause I’m pretty sure everyone thinks you guys are dating.” Will says and Gabe shoots him a look that says traitor.
“No they don’t” Gabe argues
“Uh yes they do. I thought you guys were a couple for the first few months after we met. And why do you think no one makes a move on her?…because they think she’s taken.” Cutter says
Gabe hadn’t really thought about the fact that guys hadn’t really approached you. He can’t deny that he felt a sense of satisfaction that people thought you were his. But there was also a sense of disappointment and longing, because it wasn’t true no matter what other people wanted to believe.
“I don’t care what other people think, we’re not together.” Gabe replies
“But you wanna be, right?” Ryan asks and Gabe sighs. He really didn’t want to talk about this.
“It doesn’t matter, she doesn’t feel the same way.” Gabe says, a tone of finality in his voice.
“You’re kidding right? When I assumed you guys were together, most of the time it was because of things that she did. I mean, just five minutes ago she was practically sitting in your lap, looking at you with heart eyes and kissing you goodbye…If those aren’t signs that she feels the same way, I don’t know what is.” Cutter says and when Gabe doesn’t respond the guys thankfully move on to another topic of conversation.
-
When Gabe goes over to your place that night, he’s still thinking about the conversation he had earlier that day. Were you giving him signals? Maybe he should just ask you? But what if you weren’t sending him signals and you didn’t feel the same. Gabe doesn’t want to risk losing you if you don’t.
When he enters your apartment, he’s immediately met with the smell of popcorn and the sight of you cuddled up on the couch, wearing his hoodie, popcorn sitting on the little table at your side. He chuckles a little at the sight. The popcorn bowl was bigger than your head. You always make too much, so Gabe had taken over popcorn duties for the last few movie nights but he was running a bit late tonight and you were impatient so you went ahead and did it.
When Gabe takes a seat next to you on the couch, you immediately cuddle into his side, where you stay for the rest of the movie. Gabe didn’t really pay attention to the movie at all, his mind still thinking about whether or not he should ask you how you felt. He was pulled out of his thoughts when you turned to him abruptly while the credits rolled on the screen.
“I forgot to show you my nails! Do you wanna see them?” you ask and Gabe smiles while nodding, finding your excitement adorable.
You hold out your hands and he takes them both, holding them gently and inspecting your nails. He was expecting the slightly longer than normal maroon covered nails, what he wasn’t expecting were the little golden 34’s on each ring finger.
“Do you like them?” you ask a little hesitant.
“I love them,” he says, kissing both hands and you smile.
Signals. Surely these were signs that you had feelings for him…right? Gabe couldn’t go on any longer not knowing. He was going to drive himself insane. He just needed to ask you and accept whatever the fallout was of doing so.
He takes a deep breath and holds on tighter to both your hands, for support. “I need to ask you something.”
“Anything,” you answer
“I like you, as more than a friend. And I’m sorry if this is gonna mess things up between us but I can’t go on any longer wondering if you feel the same. I just need to know so that I can either try to move on or…” Gabe says, unable to even speak the words into existence if there were no chance of them being true.
“Gabe of course I like you…I’ve been doing everything I possibly could to make it clear that I like you…short of kissing you or just telling you,” you say
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Gabe asks
“Because I was scared. Terrified really. That you wouldn’t reciprocate my feelings and our friendship wouldn’t be the same afterwards. I thought you knew. I was actually starting to think that maybe you just didn’t have feelings for me.” you say a little sadly.
“No, not at all! I do have feelings for you. A lot of feelings. I can’t believe we could’ve been together all this time…” Gabe says, a little frustrated with himself that if he had taken this risk sooner, you could’ve gotten together months ago.
“Don’t think like that. I love that we both cherish our relationship so much that we didn’t wanna do anything to risk it. We’re just gonna have to make up for lost time.” you say and Gabe smiles a little, loving that you always seem to see the good in every situation.
You shriek when he stands up and throws you over his shoulder.
“What are you doing?” you ask laughter bubbling out of you.
“I’m making up for lost time,” Gabe says walking towards your bedroom.
If things were gonna go like he hopes, you’ll have the rest of your lives to make up for lost time.

A Night At The Cinema
| with Kento Nanami. This is smut. This story includes..
oral s3x, ejaculation, erection, and s3x. Enjoy my sluts |
“Come on babe we’re gonna be late.” This wasn’t the first time you’ve been in a date with Nanami. “Darling give me a second to pay alright? Every thing is going to be okay my love the previews are probably barley starting.” He reassured you. You two were running late because he got held up at work. He looked so tired. He was always so busy lately, but he promised he’d make it up to you by taking you to see the movie you’d be talking about for ages now. “Let’s go!” you say running and pulling his veiny arms behind you. You manage to find your seat. “Ah there it is.” You continue to pull him by the arm as you two sit down. “Perfect timing!” you say with a smile as you look at Nanami’s tired looking eyes. You were too excited to even worry about popcorn but looking down at your empty hands you couldn’t help but to crave it. Before you could open your mouth he began to say, “A small popcorn and a bag of skittles my love?” He knew you so well. You nodded back as a response. He leaves and comes back within 2 minutes, damn he’s fast. Time flies as your enjoying the movie. You look down at the popcorn bag and it’s empty. “I guess you can have the skittles I’m kinda..” You look over and Nanami is dosing off. Fighting for his life to stay awake. You’ve always wanted to see this movie but you didn’t wanna wake him up either. “Babe are you okay?” you said. “Yes, darling i’m just fine is everything okay?” he said. “Everything’s just fine it’s just that you seem tired.” “No. I’m not tired I’m just resting my eyes darling” he always lied to make you feel better. “Okay!” you said and you leaned in for a kiss. His eyes lit up as you pulled away from the french intimate kiss. “I’m surely awake now love” you roll your eyes. it’s been weeks since you guys have done it. “Is that so?” you say as you caress his thigh. “Good cus’ i heard this parts good” He continues to look at you even though your focus has shifted to the screen. You move your hand up his thigh and you feel his hard c*ck underneath your hand. You feel it jump at you. “Baby…” says Nanami. “Yes love?” You look at his deep green eyes. “Could you help me relieve some stress” This was a code word for head. “Seriously?! Right now?” You whisper angrily. “I know it’s bad timing but I’ve been craving you and I’m at my breaking point darling” You’re disappointed in him for even thinking of doing something like that in this moment. The movie was boring anyways so you think of some ways to make him pay for being a h*rny mess. “Mhm” Luckily you guys brought a blanket. One of the reasons being you get cold in the theater another being because of instances like this. You cover yourself and him and go underneath. Unzipping his pants and releasing his gigantic c*ck. You go down on it and you feel it take up all the space in your throat. “Mm~” he says quietly. This is crazy! You might get caught if you gag the slightest. Luckily he trained your throat to take on his massive d*ck. You start going up and down slowly speeding up the pace gradually and going slower to edge him a little. “F-fuck~” Nanami rarely cusses but when he does it means something. He lowers his head to where yours is. “Your mouth feels so fucking good darlin’” You swirl your tongue around in a circle around the tip. “Baby…please… i’m going to…c-cu-” he stuttered in your ear quietly. You taste the precum on your tongue. His d*ck getting harder in your mouth by the second. You lift you head up from under the covers. “Let’s take this somewhere else” you say looking into his eyes. He was nearly red. “But the movie-“ He said but he stopped himself as he realized how much he wanted to fuck you.
You both run outside of the theater into his car. It was brand new. You didn’t want to ruin the interior but the thought of him fucking you recklessly messed with your logical thinking. You both hop in the BMW. He’s yanking at his tie to take it off. You’re unbuttoning your blouse as fast as you can and slipping down your skirt. He’s taking of his pants and unbuttoning his shirt also. You both look at each other with pure lust. You both start making out intensely as your tongues are dancing harmoniously in each others mouths. Siliava dripping down your faces. You lay back in the back seat and he turns and faces you with his back facing the windshield window and the steering wheel. “Put your hands together above your head like a good girl for me darling” Nanami says “Yes sir” His veiny hand gripping both of your wrists together as he uses his other one to grab his d*ck and slide it against your p*ssy. You moan slightly as he sticks it in. “You know how fucking long i’ve been waiting for his” He says as he rams his d*ck in you roughly. “Ah~ N-Nanami” You moan. He takes his free hand and cover your mouth with it still gripping your wrists firmly. “I can’t believe you’ve kept this from me from that fucking long. I know i’ve been busy but you know how addictive your p*ssy is right?” “M-mhm” you say as he goes faster and more roughly. “You’re so.. warm darling. I love f*cking you raw like this.” You’re moans get louder and louder. “Nanami.. Please slow down” you beg. “F-Fuck baby I’m gonna cum in you i don’t think I can pull out. It feels so good~” He moans. “You turn me into a person I don’t want to be darling but I love it.” He goes faster as he yaps while he’s thrusting inside you. “N-Nanami~ Ah~” “I love it when you moan my name, louder princess” “No baby please I~ Nana-mi-” Your moans unintentionally get louder. “Fuck i’m gonna cum baby. You look so pretty when I fuck you like this. My sweet darling~” He moans in his deep soothing voice. “I can’t take it anymore darling I’m cumming. I’m cumming~” he says as he thrusts one last time into you before filling you up with 2 weeks worth of hot steaming cum. Your legs start to shake once he’s finished. He’s putting on his clothes and he noticed them shaking. He rubs your thigh. “You alright princess? I’m sorry If I hurt you my love.” “No, you didn’t. I guess I wasn’t used to you being that rough with me.” you explain. “I apologize love. It won’t happen again. I was just frustrated it’s been so long since I’ve relieved myself” “It’s okay my love” You kiss him on the cheek. “Just let me know sooner next time so it doesn’t build up like that” He starts helping you out back on your clothes and opens the door letting you out so you can sit in the front seat. He opens your door and always around it sit in the drivers seat. He looks back at the mess yall made. Cum all over the seats. “I guess I’ll go get our car cleaned tomorrow”. You giggle “Make sure you tip them.” you imagine the look on their faces as they clean it up. “You know I always do”

Day 25 - New Year's kiss
Characters: Mammon x fem!MC
25 kisses challenge Masterlist
Main Masterlist
CW: a bit of self insert (my parents are not every one's parents), Mammon is taller than MC and they have a well established relationship, they are whipped for each other
A/N: we're finally here. Time passed so fast, I'm gonna miss this. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Next will be the 500 followers celebration, see you there :) (if you want to ofc)
.
“Shit!”
MC could only watch as Mammon kicked the wheel and grabbed fistfuls of his hair. He seemed desperate, embarrassed and defeated, jewellery sparkling under the faint light of the rural streetlamps and eyes glistening with unshed tears. In a way, he also looked beautiful, and MC felt incredibly guilty for the thought alone.
He was wearing a suit, chest buttons opened and sleeves rolled up, ignoring the cold with nonchalance. Lucifer begged him to put on a coat to, at least, pretend that low temperatures did bother him a little, but Mammon wouldn’t be himself if he didn’t ignore his older brother’s suggestions. In the end, the coat ended up on MC’s shoulders.
The cold cut her skin when she got out of the car, but what hurt her the most was Mammon’s avoidant gaze. He was ashamed, but there was no way he could've known the engine would fail and leave them stranded out of town. The car wasn’t even his! It was rental!
“Things like this happen” she said in a low tone, grabbing the belt loops in his pants to pull him close to her. A blush immediately appeared on his cheeks and MC wasn’t able to hide her smile on time.
“Do they, tho’?”
“It’s an old car, so yeah”
“Well, it wouldn’t have if Lucifer let me bring my Lexura” he groaned, messing up his hair again “It’s his fault”
“It’s no one’s fault”
MC’s interruption went unnoticed and Mammon kept complaining to the air, growing aggravated without letting her get too far, her fingers still anchored to the loops.
She could understand him. It wasn’t the first time they celebrated the new year as a couple, but it would’ve been the first time spending it with her family. It was a milestone in their relationship he was eager to reach and the disappointment was evident in his face.
“You can fly us there and we can spend time with them still”
“But we’re not gonna be with them when the year starts”
His voice was meek, truly beaten, as if not being there when the year ends would bring bad luck to the new year. A superstitious thought that she wouldn’t have assigned to him before, but maybe this first impression was far more important to him than MC believed to be.
“Baby, come on… I swear it’s okay”
MC called his name, moving her arms to hug his waist, and a wave of relief covered her body when he hugged her back and let his cheek rest on top of her head. Although she couldn’t see him anymore, she knew he was blushing and that made her smile.
Not that far away, crossing the darkness of the countryside and beaming with street lights and firecrackers, the sound of chimes broke the silence. People screamed in excitement and anticipation and Mammon sighed with sadness. Only half a minute of the year remained and they were lost in the middle of the road, the asphalt too old for her to comfortably walk on and the distance too long for them to arrive in less than forty minutes.
Her parents would have to wait, but she knew they wouldn’t feel insulted. And frankly, it’s not like she was sad either. She was with Mammon, after all, listening to the weak ringing of the chimes with poorly hidden joyful agitation, and the closer they got to midnight, the faster her heart beat.
Mammon looked at her in surprise, keeping her close to shield her from the cold. The artificial light from above crowned his hair like a halo and MC was too happy to comment on the irony.
“Are you seriously okay with this?”
“Of course I am! As long as I start each new year with you, I’ll always be okay!”
The chimes got louder and people started to scream the countdown. Only 12 seconds left.
They were both smiling like idiots, the disappointment of not arriving on time slowly disappearing. MC stood on her tiptoes and Mammon leaned down.
“Stop being so cute, dammit”
She chuckled and he kissed her and the scream got louder. Fireworks exploding in the air while he spread his hands across her back and she cradled his face, keeping him where he was for a few more seconds before he managed to pull away.
With eyes half closed and a flushed expression, he murmured against her lips.
“Happy New Year, treasure”
“Happy New Year, Mammon”
MC smiled while he kissed her, repeating the gesture again and again until they started laughing. Then, they kissed once more.

Synopsis: Failing your exams was one thing, however, lying while keeping it hidden was another, and Fingolfin made sure you remembered that.
Tumblr media
Manspreading on the edge of his bed, left arm resting on his knee while the right was busy unfastening his tie, he followed up his actions with the unbuttoning of the first two buttons. A small peak of his chiselled chest as the two buttons became undone, leaving the mouth-watering sight of the neck you so loved covering in hickeys and teeth marks when he took you hard. His sleeves were already rolled to his elbows, veins prominent and delicately wrapping around his arms, leading to his large hands that always gripped you like his life depended on it. A quick shuffle of his arms as he tugged the tie from around his neck, and his biceps curled under his sleeves, looking beefy and sturdy—all his years of hitting the gym paid off wonderfully.
“Do you have any idea how much I invested in your success?” His voice was a low, dangerous murmur, dripping with controlled anger. He slowly rose off the bed and chartered over to his mini bar to pour himself a shot of brandy, something to add heat to the fire already building within his core. The entire time, his eyes never left yours as he tilted the glass to his lips, staring at your meek form across the room. His eyes were filled with disappointment and frustration. “And you dare lie to me, thinking I wouldn’t find out?”
His words cut through the silence, sharp and authoritative. You could barely manage a syllable, much less a guttural sound from the waves of anger rolling off him. You felt the heat in your stomach travelling to regions it shouldn’t, knowing how things were about to escalate. Nevertheless, your panties started soaking as your arousal slowly seeped through your fold and you shifted on your feet, something Fingolfin noticed.
Gently resting the glass down, Fingolfin wiggled out of his dress shoes, followed by his socks and pushed them aside to stand bare feet on the carpet. You weren’t even aware of his presence before you, as he crossed the room with blinding speed to tower above you, intimidatingly. “Strip. Now.” The command was issued with such finality that you didn’t dare hesitate to resist or sass. Your hands trembled slightly as you undressed, feeling the weight of his disapproval heavy in the air.
Once you were completely bare, he circled you slowly, inspecting you as if deciding your fate. Goosebumps appeared in every area his cold eyes fell upon. “You failed me,” he said, his tone cold. “I expected much more from you, and worse, you tried to hide it from me. Such behaviour needs to be rectified, and what better way than to clarify it via my favourite method? Do you not agree?”
“Yes,” you curtly responded, not wanting to bore him with any extra syllables in his current state of dissatisfaction, while further understanding what you had signed up for. Walking for the next few days was out of the question. Thankful, you were on holiday, so you could more than afford to lounge in bed all day and night—just not in the manner he was about to make it.
There was a low grumble in his chest at your reply. His head dipped to lowly his lips to your ear. “Yes, who?”
“Yes, sir,” you corrected your posture immediately at attention.
There was a distinctive clicking of his tongue behind you and the faint whisps of his breath against your neck. Then, very delicately, you felt his fingers pressing against your lower back, guiding you to his pristine sheets and positioning you to kneel with your face pressed into the mattress. Fingolfin’s fingers traced along your spine, a deceptive gentleness in his touch. “You need to understand the consequences of your actions,” he continued, his voice softening just enough to send shivers down your spine and while leaving you anticipating.
Moving behind you stealthy, you missed the sound of his hand slicing through the air yet felt the stinging pain of the contact it made with your ass. The suddenness made you gasp, but there was no reprieve. Another smack followed, then another, each one harder than the last, until your skin was flushed and stinging. His hand placement was strategic as he lowered it with each slap until his fingertips brushed against your wet folds with intensity. Your body naturally recoiled, however, his left hand reached out to entangle your tresses, giving you a slight arch. “No running. Count them,” he commanded with a hint of seduction. “I want to hear you acknowledge every single one.”
Unable to retaliate given the situation and the level it would become should you, your lips parted with a faint whisper that grew into a quiver, under the attempt to not moan. “One…two…three…” Each number was punctuated by another sharp spank, his hand firm and unyielding. Fingolfin’s other hand drifted from your hair to firmly, without aggression, grip the nape of your neck, holding you in place, ensuring that you couldn’t run from your punishment.
After the tenth strike, he paused, his hand resting on your reddened skin, soothingly rubbing the area. There was a moment where he admired the welts of hands left on your ass. You felt the bed dip to your left before the ghosting of his hot breath on the tip of your ear. “Do you think you deserve mercy?” he taunted, kissing the tip of your ear before biting it. “After lying to me, do you think you deserve any kindness?”
In a broken whimper, you managed to stutter out. “P-Please, ‘m sorry.” In return, you missed the way his eyes rolled but felt his heavy exhale before he removed his hand from your ass to dangle the tie before your eyes. You knew what came next.
Not waiting for you to comply, he released his hold on your neck to neatly secure the tie around your eyes, cutting your sight away from the world. The fresh scent of his cologne waffled through your senses and made your head spin. He always smelt delicious—a blend of mint and spices.
Once you were decorated, he pressed his hand against your back, pushing you head first, into the mattress whilst parting your legs to run his fingers through your wet cunt. He wasted no time in executing the second part of your punishment the way his fingers glided through your folds, toying with your clit. Already needy and dripping despite the harsh treatment. “Look at you.” His voice held no form of adoration like it usually did whenever he admired your form. Instead, they were filled with condescension. “Undeserving of what’s being given.”
His words hung over you like threads had woven themselves into each syllable to taunt you further. You felt one of his hands press into your upper shoulder while his other continued working their way through your, avoiding your clit. The sound of his rich laughter ghosted through the air as he mocked the way you squirmed, turned into a hiss as he sunk them deep inside and crooked them directly towards your sweet spot. In no way were you allowed to shift away from his wicked touch as his hand curled around the back of your neck.
“F-Fuck! P–…lease! God I hate you!” you cried out, finally finding your voice to match his tempo. Your fingers curled into the sheets, fisting at it due to your lack of sight and inability to turn your head and glare at him. The immediate trembling of your body as he continued to twist and crook his finger through your slick, releasing a loud and lewd squelching signalled how close you already were.
But Fingolfin was always a mile ahead of you in terms of making a comeback because he wasted no time growling. “That’s a lot of words coming from a smart mouth that was unable to produce a single Valarin lexicon for your orals. Since when did you get so clever?”
Before you could reply, using the grip around your neck, he hoisted you to your knees and pressed the tips of his fingers against your sweet spot, bringing you close to the edge but never allowing you the release you craved. “Go ahead, mumble some more. Be a smart ass for me princess. Show me how skilled your pretty little tongue is!”
As his words left his lips, you didn’t have the chance to respond as his two fingers curled and thrust into you with blinding speed, leaving you trembling. Whining in choked sobs as drool dribbled down your chin as he squeezed the air out your lungs with his actions, you vibrated. There was nowhere for you to escape but his embrace that loomed behind like a menacing figure with purpose. With every torturous rub, your body bowed and buckled like a worm, and he laughed with a deep rumble in his chest, revelling in the pleasure of your reactions. Nevertheless, this was all a walk in the park the more his fingers flexed against your spongey walls, feeling them clamp around him like a vice grip. “‘M sorry, daddy. Won’t…do…again.”
“Sound to me like you would," he scoffed. “Your cunt seems to enjoy my fingers...feel how tight she is around me. Gripping me with absolute want.” Indeed he was right. Your walls clung to him, refusing to let him slip out smoothly and forcefully sucking him back in deeper.
You shook your head as high-pitched squeals slipped out, your hips moving on their own accord, matching the rhythm of his fingers.
“Really? Do you think I should let you cum, hm? After your poor performance that I spent thousands of dollars on for the best results,” he hissed in your ear, nibbling on the lobe and giving it small tugs before dipping his head to bite the junction of your shoulder. “You gave me nothing good in return except a pathetic excuse. Do I not spoil you enough? Answer me!”
Your fingers found a way to dig into his thighs, unfortunately, they were still covered in his pants, reducing your attempts at marking him. However, it provided support for the wicked torment he delivered. You were constantly trapped in purgatory as his fingers provided pleasure while denying you relief. “P-Plea—”
“Pardon? I didn’t hear you,” he reminded in a patronising tone. His eyes fluttered upwards to glance at you through his dark lashes, enjoying the way your face twisted as the waves of pleasure came on harder. “Speak up, loud and clear, or you’ll regret it.”
Choking on a silent scream, your breath came out in pants and broken sighs. “Oh fuck, please! Just let me cum!”
“You don’t deserve to cum,” he taunted, pulling his hand away just as you were about to orgasm. “Not yet.”
Ignoring your pathetic cries, his hand around your neck travelled down your back to position you into a foul arch while he kicked your legs apart. Easily he wasted no time positioning himself behind you, undoing his trousers—erection spring free, heavy with want and anger at the wait—and rubbing the tip of his aching cock through your puffed-up folds, deeply inhaling at the sensation of your wetness coating him. You were dripping wet, just the way he enjoyed having you for every session. All flushed with ache and want, begging him to put out the flames and stuff you till thy kingdom come.
And indeed he loved every second of the torture he took, applying his patience as he rubbed your clit and nudged it with his tip. Your cries went in one ear and escaped the other without care since you didn’t have any regard for the finances you wasted. Then, without warning, he pushed into you roughly, a sharp contrast to the teasing touches from before. “You don’t get to enjoy this,” he growled, not wasting a second to build his tempo, and going directly for the kill. “This is for me, not you. You’re not the one frustrated and in need of relief after your stunt—you could never be.”
It turned out that learning of your failure at the same time one of his clients entered a lawsuit, created a torrent of pent-up frustration. His plan was to spend the entire evening with you—not much had changed, only with a minor adjustment of your orgasmic denial and increase of roughness.
One hand, firm around your neck while the other gripped your hips, you were forced into a profoundly painful arch to take the rough pounding of his hips meeting your ass. Every thrust caused his cock to faintly brush against your sweet spot, tickling your sensitivity and never granting you a reprieve. With great precision, Fingolfin ensured that you felt every vein on his cock and thrust, as he pushed deeper and harder with dominance. You could feel the way his veins rubbed your walls just right, fitting in all the cracks and crevices just the way you were moulded from the start. At the same time, it was disgusting that he hadn’t removed his clothes to grant you the opportunity to let you feel his silky skin on yours.
You wanted to feel the ripple of his muscles as he clenched and flexed his thighs against your body the deeper and harder he went. This materialistic barrier only fuelled your anxiety at the wreck of punishment this was turning out to be.
“Even when being…punished, you’re still wet…and tight. Fuck!” he groaned. “Do you think you deserve to cum?”
“S-Sir, p–…please. ‘M sorry,” you cried out, hands fisting the sheets as you sought after your orgasm. “Won’t…do…again…”
“Of course, you would not perform that same stunt again,” he growled and tightened his grip on your hip. His rapid, deep strokes never stopped as he pressed you into the bed, pinning you under his weight. “You wouldn’t want to miss the feeling of my cock in your pussy, would you? How good it feels to claim you over and over again as mine.”
Squeaking, unable to form a coherent reply, he slowed his pace and pulled all the way out, leaving his tip inside before pushing back in roughly. Your body rattled, the air knocked out of your lungs and the scream lodged in your throat. Soundless sobs were your relief as you prayed he would grant you mercy with each powerful thrust from his cock. And yet, he continued to purposefully miss your sweet spot, aiming to get himself off alone. “Do you understand now? he asked as he leaned down, voice deeply rooted in your ear as he panted. “Do you understand what happens when you lie to me? Failing is one thing, but lying to me…”
You could only nod—or hope that you did—your voice lost in the intensity of the moment. Only the sound of his hips meeting your ass and his cock sliding in and out of your wet cunt echoed. Like music to his ears on a stressful day. His grip was unyielding as he continued to pound into you, slow and deep, relishing in the power he held over you. Each thrust was a reminder of his authority in your life.
The elaborate rolls of his hips and the articulate angle of his cock left you in a frenzy. He did everything to miss your sweet spot, focusing on pleasuring his cock with the softness and warmth you provided. The lewd echoes of his cock penetrating deeper fuelled your pussy to grow wetter, on the verge of squirting, but not quite there. Ever so rarely, he would laugh in your ear as you attempted to squeeze him, wanting him to stay longer. The sweet grips of your lips around him was sinful and made his head spin.
You were going to be the dead of him. No wonder why he picked you at first sight. It was pure instincts telling him how good you would feel wrapped around him even if you were to disappoint. Your pussy had a magic to it that he couldn’t get enough off—the relentless pounding and groans told it all. He’d always choose to fuck you as his life depended on it as a punishment, and who were you to resist.
There was a moment when you could barely keep it together as your head started spinning. Toes curling into the bedsheets, nails fisting the pillows, and head buried into the mattress, you muffled your whines as he finally brushed his tip against you. But you should have known his strategy from the start. Rapid and deep thrusts against it left you fighting for your life as the fire pooled in your abdomen. Your walls clamped harder around him, forcing his pace to stutter and pants to turn into groans.
“You like that...don’t you? You wanna cum all over my cock for free,” he groans, gyrating his hips to rub his tip against your sweet spot. “Maybe I should let you, but not now.”
And with ease, his groans turned into deep grunts before you felt his cock pulsating and his thrusts faltering. The fluid motion of his hips stuttered as he tried to continue the powerful rolls of his hips, wanting the sound of his heavy balls to slap loudly against your wet pussy. Yet soon, with a satisfied groan, Fingolfin’s hips stilled, and his grip tightened around your neck and hips, as he spilled his hot, sticky cum inside you. He was quick and sharp to pull out, dabbing his forehead to remove any beads of sweat while gazing at your trembling, weeping form that held his cum, slowly oozing out.
Straightening his posture and rising to full height, he gave a light tap to your ass and commanded. “Get up. On your knees on the floor, now,” he muttered, unbuttoning the rest of his shirt to discard it, along with his trousers. He observed how clumsy you were as you carefully climbed off the bed and onto the floor to kneel before him. Reaching out to grip your chin, he focused you on his authoritative figure towering above with his rigid cock, pronounced and ready for another round. Even with the blindfold covering your eyes, you could feel the intensity of his gaze burning holes into yours.
“I want you to remember this night carefully because I would hate to repeat this all over again,” he whispered lowly, cupping your chin to tilt your head upwards and running his thumb over your lips. “Now part your pretty lips for me while the night is still young. I have a lesson to teach…”

The Legend~
Childe(Ajax) x F. Reader (angst)
A/n: you guys…it is 4 in the morning and I have not slept yet🥲✌️ but I hope you all enjoy this chapter and story. I really had a lot of fun writing it and I hope you have fun reading! But enough of me talking, let’s get onto the reading! Thank you again and have a great day/night my lovelies🥰🥰
Tumblr media
As I strolled down the sidewalk, anticipation bubbled within me for yet another mission with Ajax. Despite the short notice, my excitement overshadowed any inconvenience. Ajax’s enthusiasm for my company mirrored my own, filling me with a warm sense of camaraderie. I had initially planned to spend time with Jean, but when I explained the situation, she graciously understood.
She playfully teased me about Ajax, insinuating a romantic connection that wasn’t there. Despite my protests, she persisted with a knowing smirk, leaving me flustered but amused.
——
“Okay, well when you get back, you and I are going to have a girls day out.” Jean said, a smirk coming to her face.
“And…try not to have too much fun with that boyfriend of yours.” She teased, making your face heat up
“Shut up, Jean. He’s not my boyfriend…we are just friends!” You retorted.
She just chuckled in disbelief.
“Yeah, okay. Just friends…we will stick with that for now.”
——
"Now, you were just moments away from Ajax. Moments away from the man who enveloped you in warmth and joy, who effortlessly brought laughter to your lips when you needed it most. Your heart fluttered with anticipation as his familiar, comforting voice reached your ears. With a quickened pace, you approached, a smile spreading across your face at the sight of his tousled hair.
However, as you finally reached him, your joy faltered at the presence of another girl – the infamous traveler, Lumine.
"Oh, n/n! I thought I had told you... I guess I forgot in the midst of everything," Ajax said, his smile directed towards Lumine.
"Tell me what?" you inquired, a knot forming in your stomach.
"Well... I actually don't need you for this mission this week. Lumine offered to help, and I couldn't refuse. She's quite renowned around here. So, you're free to do whatever you want!" Ajax's words stung, a pang of hurt piercing your chest. Despite years of fighting alongside him, you couldn't shake the feeling of being second choice. Yet, you managed to mask your disappointment with a forced acceptance.
"O-Oh... well, alright. If you'd rather go with her, then I suppose it's an opportunity for me to rest," you replied, attempting to quell the rising jealousy within you.
Ajax's smile and pat on your shoulder did little to ease the sting. "Thanks, y/n! I knew you'd understand! I'll catch up with you another time. How about joining me on my next mission? Next week?" he proposed.
Your smile returned, though tinged with a hint of sadness. "Sure! I'd love that."
"Great! See you then! Take care, n/n!" With that, Ajax departed with Lumine, leaving you with a fading smile and a heavy heart.
As they disappeared from view, your once-wide smile faded into a solemn frown. With a soft sigh, you turned on your heel, making your way back to Jean to relay what had transpired."
*****
"He did what!?" Jean's voice rang out with fury, her fists slamming onto the table. You couldn't help but widen your eyes, taken aback by Jean's uncharacteristic outburst.
"Jean, calm down. It's really not a big deal," you attempted to reassure her, though her agitation was palpable.
"No! He stood you up! Left you in the dust to be with that girl!" Jean's frustration boiled over, her tone laced with indignation.
"Lumine," you interjected softly, trying to bring a semblance of reason to the conversation.
"I don't care what her name is! What matters is that he abandoned my best friend," Jean retorted, her frustration evident in every word.
"Jean, please. He promised we can go another time. He even suggested I join him on his next mission," you explained, hoping to quell her anger.
"And you believe him? After what he did just now?" Jean's skepticism was palpable, her doubt weighing heavily in the air.
"Well... yeah," you replied hesitantly, feeling a pang of uncertainty.
Jean scoffed, turning away from you in frustration. "He made a mistake, Jean! I'm sure he didn't mean to. He just—" you started, attempting to defend Ajax.
"No. Don't make excuses for him. He's not a child anymore. Anyone with an ounce of decency would have known better," Jean interrupted, her voice tinged with disappointment.
You sighed, watching as Jean composed herself. "Sorry... it's just... I hate seeing you hurt. You're like the sister I never had. And when someone hurts someone close to me, I just... lose it," Jean confessed, her anger subsiding into a softer tone.
"I understand, Jean... but give him another chance. I truly believe this is just a one-time thing. He won't do it again. I know it," you reassured her, offering a small smile.
Jean looked away, lost in thought for a moment. After a deep breath, she relented. "Okay. If you trust him, then I guess I should too," she conceded with a smile.
"Good. Now, enough about him. Let's go get something to eat. I'm starving!" you suggested, pulling her out of her chair.
"You read my mind," Jean replied with a giggle, the tension between you gradually dissipating as you turned your attention to more pleasant matters.
*****
I woke up with excitement once again. Today was the day! The day I get to hang out with Ajax and go on an adventure with him for the weekend! I quickly got out of bed, took a shower, and got ready.
I grabbed my sword and ran out of the house, not wasting a minute. I scurried around people, finding my way to Ajax’s and our meetup spot—a lonely little area just outside Mondstadt. It took me a good 30 minutes to get there, but I made it just on time. And there he was, waiting... but again... he was not alone.
"Hey Ajax! I’m here!" I said, my smile faltering just a bit as I, once again, saw Lumine.
“Oh… hey n/n… hey listen-“ He started, but I cut him off.
“Are you ditching me again?” My voice quieted a bit, betraying my disappointment.
He looked away from me, avoiding my saddened eyes. “Look, y/n. This is a really tough mission… and it requires someone with a lot of strength and skill-“
“Are you saying I don’t have those?” I interjected, hurt evident in my tone.
“No! Not at all… but you don’t exactly have any… abilities… visions if you will. Lumine here does,” he explained, his words feeling like a blow to my heart.
“Oh…” I could barely muster a response, my disappointment weighing heavily on me.
“Look, n/n… I just don’t want you to get hurt. That’s all!” He tried to defend himself.
I looked up at him and nodded. “It’s okay, Ajax. I understand. I appreciate that you care for me that way. I’ll just see you next time. Maybe we could just hang out when you get back?” I suggested, trying to hide my disappointment.
“Well… Lumine and I were actually going to go out after our mission,” he added, crushing my hopes even further.
“Out?” I repeated, the disappointment evident in my voice.
“Yeah! You know, hang out for a bit. Show her around town and all that.”
“Oh. Okay. Well then how about the wee-“ I started, but he cut me off.
“How about I just contact you when I’m available? That way we can spend all day together! Does that sound good?” He asked, making me nod weakly.
“Y-Yeah. Sure!” I forced a smile, attempting to mask my disappointment.
He then placed his hand on my head. “Thanks for being so cooperative with me, n/n. I appreciate it.”
“Of course!” I replied, forcing cheerfulness into my tone.
“Well, we had better get going then. See ya later, n/n!” He yelled, grabbing Lumine's hand and running away.
I went back home, spending the rest of my day there. I didn’t tell Jean though. I just told her I was called on another trip that was more important.
******
As you lay in bed, tears streaming down your face, you couldn't shake the feeling of betrayal and inadequacy. Did Ajax really think you were too weak to fight alongside him? Despite not having a vision, you had proven yourself countless times in battle, standing shoulder to shoulder with Ajax against formidable foes. Yet, his actions spoke volumes, leaving you questioning your worth as a fighter and as a friend.
The presence of Lumine only exacerbated your turmoil. While everyone seemed enamored by her, you couldn't shake the feeling of unease that lingered whenever she was around. It was as if she held secrets, hidden behind her flawless facade. Perhaps it was just your own insecurities magnified by the situation with Ajax, but the doubt gnawed at you relentlessly.
With a heavy heart, you turned over in bed, unable to find solace in sleep. The events of the day replayed in your mind, tormenting you with thoughts of what could have been. Yet, despite the pain and uncertainty, you resolved to let it go, at least for the night. Dwelling on it further would only serve to deepen the wounds already inflicted.
Taking a deep breath, you closed your eyes, willing yourself to find peace amidst the chaos. Tomorrow was a new day, and with it, the possibility of clarity and resolution. For now, all you could do was surrender to the embrace of sleep, hoping that the morning would bring a sense of renewal and understanding.
*******
Months had passed since Ajax reached out to you. What’s worse is that he had been spending all of that time with Lumine. You want to speak with him? Sorry, he’s busy talking with Lumine. You want to spar with him? No chance, as he is already with Lumine. You want to hangout, even if it's just for a few minutes? No can do missy. He can’t waste any time now that he's hanging out with Lumine.
He was really getting on your nerves. He sometimes acted like you didn’t even exist to him and just straight up ignored you.
You had been so understanding with him, very fluid even.
You reached out to him today to see if he could hang out with you, but again, he denied. He said he had to babysit his little brother, who you knew very well as you had been his training teacher.
Unfortunately, as you were walking down the streets of Mondstat, you managed to see him and Lumine together…again.
The anger that simmered beneath the surface threatened to boil over as you realized Ajax had once again brushed you aside, opting to spend his time with Lumine instead.
With each rejection, each snub, Ajax's actions chipped away at your patience and understanding. How could he treat you this way after all you had been through together? The hurt and betrayal gnawed at your heart, fueling the fire of resentment that burned within you.
Finally reaching your breaking point, you confronted Ajax, your voice cutting through the air like a blade.
“Ajax!” You yelled, catching his and everyone else’s attention.
He was chuckling with Lumine, his arm wrapped around her.
Your suspicions had been confirmed about them…they had finally become a couple…just like that.
You felt hurt, angry, and sad.
When Ajax heard your voice, he turned with fear in his eyes as he realized he had been caught.
“N/n! W-What are you-“
*smack*
Everyone gasped as you slapped Ajax across the face. He looked at you with shock written all over his face
Tears were welling up in your eyes
“How could you!?”
He just stared down at you with confusion
“How could you just lie to me? Is that what you've been doing all this time? You’ve been lying to me? So you can be with her?!” You yelled as short sobs came out of your mouth.
“N/n…I-“
“Don’t ‘n/n’ me.” You interrupted
“After all these years, a girl suddenly comes in and just makes you change how you treat me!? For months, I have been nothing but understanding towards you! I even missed out on big events just to hang out with you, only to be turned down by you…even though you were the one who ‘promised’ to be with me on another occasion! Just so you could be with a girl you barely even know! She could be an enemy for all we know” You lashed out. Suddenly, Diluc and Kaeya came out to stop you. Ajax's attempts to explain fell on deaf ears as your anger boiled over, drowning out any semblance of reason. The intervention of Diluc and Kaeya was a distant echo in the chaos of your fury as you pushed them away, unwilling to be restrained.
In that moment, all you could see was the betrayal etched on Ajax's face, a painful reminder of the shattered trust that lay between you. As the crowd murmured in hushed tones around you, you stood there, raw and vulnerable, grappling with the wreckage of a friendship torn asunder.
"Get off of me!" you yelled at them, your voice trembling with rage and hurt.
They hesitated for a moment, exchanging uncertain glances, but ultimately stepped back, allowing you to confront Ajax without interference.
Ajax stood before you, shock still etched on his features, his hand reaching up to touch the reddening imprint of your slap on his cheek.
"N/n, I... I didn't mean to..." he began, his voice trailing off as he struggled to find the right words.
"Don't you dare try to justify this," you spat, your voice thick with emotion. "You've been lying to me, Ajax. Sneaking around with her behind my back, making excuses, ignoring me... Do you have any idea how that feels?"
"I-I didn't want to hurt you, n/n," Ajax stammered, desperation creeping into his voice. "I just... Lumine and I, we... it's complicated."
"Complicated? Complicated doesn't give you the right to treat me like I'm nothing," you shot back, tears now streaming down your cheeks unchecked. "You've been my partner, my friend for years, and now you throw it all away for some girl you barely know?"
Ajax opened his mouth to respond.
”Lumine is not just some girl! She’s special and she has done so much for our community!” He yelled back, growing frustrated with you.
"I don't want to hear it," you said, your voice cracking with emotion. "I trusted you, Ajax. I believed in you. And you've betrayed that trust in the worst possible way."
You stopped suddenly when you heard whispers going around you.
“Is she insane? Lumine could never hurt us!”
“She must be drunk.”
“She has no rights speaking that way of Lumine when she has done nothing for us.”
The murmurs around you cut deep, each word like a dagger to your wounded heart. But it was Ajax’s words that truly shattered your world. As he approached, his glare intensified, his voice laced with anger and disdain.
“You should leave,” he spat, his tone harsh and unforgiving. “Before you make everyone else mad. The way you speak about Lumine is unforgiving and unjust! You have no right to talk about her when you don’t even know who she truly is”
Your own anger surged in response. “Me!? What about you!?” you shot back, your voice trembling with emotion.
But Ajax’s response was like a final blow, leaving you reeling. “Enough! Go…you have done enough damage already. You have no right to talk about her like that, especially when she has done way more for this place than you ever have! All you can do is fight with a steel sword! You don’t even have a vision! Compared to her, you are nothing! A nobody!.”
His words pierced through you, leaving you feeling small and insignificant. The hatred in his eyes was like a knife to your heart, each word a painful reminder of the bond you thought you shared.
You looked around and saw everyone stare at you with the same look, even Diluc and Kaeya.
Tears welled up in your eyes again as you felt the sting of betrayal deep within your chest. Fine. If that’s what they want, then that’s what they’ll get.
You left the vicinity, tears streaming down your face, each step heavy with the weight of disappointment and hurt. Returning home, you collapsed onto your bed, your emotions a tumultuous storm raging within you.
******
Gazing at the picture of you and Ajax, memories of happier times flooded your mind. But now, those moments felt like distant echoes of a past that could never be reclaimed. With a surge of anger, you snatched the frame and hurled it to the ground, the glass shattering into a thousand shards mirroring the brokenness of your heart.
As you stared at the ruined photograph, Ajax's words echoed in your mind like a cruel mantra. "You have no right speaking about Lumine like that… you don’t even have a vision like her. You are nothing."
Curling up into a ball, you surrendered to the overwhelming wave of sorrow, your sobs echoing in the empty room. The pain of rejection and abandonment was almost too much to bear, leaving you feeling utterly alone and powerless.
Exhausted from the emotional turmoil, you drifted into a fitful sleep on the cold floor, your dreams haunted by echoes of lost friendships and shattered illusions.
*******
The next morning dawned with a pounding headache, a harsh reminder of the pain you couldn't escape. With a groan, you struggled to rise from your makeshift bed and stumbled to the sink, seeking solace in the promise of relief.
But as you opened the door, hope flickered within you at the sight of a note lying on your doorstep. Rushing forward, you eagerly seized it, praying for a sign of reconciliation from Ajax.
However, your hopes were swiftly dashed as you read the contents of the letter, each word like a dagger to your wounded spirit. It was a scathing rebuke from an anonymous sender, condemning you for your actions and branding you an embarrassment.
With a heavy heart, you crumpled the note in your hand, the weight of shame and rejection bearing down on you once more.
You saw a couple more next to your door, all the same types of letters. All of them belittling you for being worthless compared to Lumine or Ajax.
You crumpled up the papers and tossed them into the crackling fire, watching as they turned to ash before your eyes. But one stubborn piece refused to burn, its edges kissed by the flames but remaining untouched by their destructive force. Puzzled, you tried to push it deeper into the fire, but it stubbornly resisted, glowing with a strange golden light.
Frowning, you retrieved the unburnt paper from the fire, feeling its coolness against your fingertips. As you unfolded it, you were greeted by a mysterious emblem and a cryptic message, signed "L.E."
“Meet me in the forest near the old abandoned house you used to go to. There are some things we must discuss.”
Intrigued but skeptical, you dismissed it as junk and tore it up, tossing the pieces onto your table.
However, to your astonishment, the torn paper remained intact, defying the laws of nature. You couldn't help but feel a shiver of unease creeping down your spine as you approached the inexplicable phenomenon.
With a mixture of disbelief and curiosity, you read the message again, finding new words written elegantly on the paper, urging you to stop trying to destroy it and come talk to this mysterious figure named L.E.
Skeptical yet intrigued, you chuckled to yourself at the absurdity of the situation. Were you seriously considering meeting a stranger in the forest based on a bizarre message? Despite your doubts, a nagging feeling urged you to investigate further, curiosity tugging at your resolve.
Eh, why not. You’ve got nothing else to lose.
You folded the paper and stuffed it in your shoe, making sure it didn’t escape. You grabbed a new set of clothes and changed into them, grabbing a bag and a sword just in case. You looked back at your house and sighed
“Well, this might be it, big guy. Thanks for keeping me warm and safe. Hopefully you’ll do the same for another person.” You said as you went on your way.
You weren’t sure where this was going to go, but a part of you was excited to finally get out and explore…even if it meant endangering your life.
-time skip-
After a trek of about an hour, you arrived at the designated area, encountering minimal obstacles along the way. As you waited by the old house, anticipation building with each passing minute, you scanned the surroundings, hoping to catch a glimpse of your mysterious correspondent.
“I see you got my note,” a feminine voice cut through the silence, startling you. Reflexively, you drew your sword, ready to confront the unseen presence behind you, only to find yourself instantly thwarted.
Your eyes widened in disbelief as you beheld an older woman effortlessly holding your weapon with just two fingers.
“That’s quite enough of that, my dear. Your weapons pale in comparison to my abilities,” she declared with an air of authority.
“Who are you? And what do you want from me?” you inquired, your voice tinged with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension.
She chuckled softly. “Straight to the point, just like your ancestor, Atlas.”
“What?” you queried, your confusion mounting. She regarded you with a quizzical expression.
“You mean to tell me you don’t know who I am?” she asked incredulously.
You shook your head at her question about your knowledge of your family history.
“Oh dear…your parents must not have taught you anything then…especially not about your family history. Well, I guess I’ll have to fill you in. But first, let’s relax with some tea. It’s quite soothing,” she suggested, conjuring a teapot out of thin air and pouring a warm, fragrant brew into a cup.
“How did you-“
“Tea first, questions later,” she interrupted gently, offering you a cup.
You hesitated, but her calm demeanor put you at ease, so you decided to take a sip. The tea was surprisingly delightful, its smooth flavor calming your nerves.
“Nice, isn’t it?” she remarked with a soft smile.
“Very…” you agreed, taking another sip.
“Now, let’s talk about why I’ve asked you here,” she continued, pouring more tea into your cup before launching into her tale.
“My name is Lady Eleanor. And I'm here to be your guide.”
“Guide? For what?” you inquired, taking another sip of the soothing tea.
“For your destiny, my dear,” she replied, her tone serious but kind.
“Destiny? What do you mean?” you asked, intrigued.
“You, my dear y/n, have a significant role to play,” she explained.
“Role? What role?” you pressed, feeling a mix of curiosity and apprehension.
“You are meant to become the next guardian of a powerful force,” she revealed.
“Guardian? Of what?” you questioned, trying to grasp the magnitude of her words.
“For a unique and potent element,” she answered cryptically.
You sat in silence, absorbing her words and contemplating their implications, as she began to unravel the ancient history of your lineage and its connection to a remarkable element created thousands of years ago.
“Let me take you back to ancient times, nearly 30,000 years ago, when your ancestors forged a rare and powerful element. Among them were seven siblings, each endowed with a unique elemental vision. Scarlett wielded the fiery pyro vision, Evelyn mastered the Anemo vision, and Willow possessed the aqueous hydro vision. Ezra commanded the earthy geo vision, Axel harnessed the electric power of electro, Rowan controlled the frosty Cryo, and Atlas, the youngest and bravest, was attuned to the verdant Dendro.” She began
“Together, these siblings maintained harmony in the world, training others to wield elemental powers and fostering a utopian society. They worked in harmony, each contributing their elemental gifts to sustain peace and stability. In times of cold, the pyro wielders brought warmth, while hydro wielders nurtured the land with water in times of drought.”
“But envy and malice lurked in the heart of one man, Elias. Fueled by jealousy, he sought to claim the siblings' accolades for himself. Learning the secrets of pyro, hydro, and geo, he launched a devastating assault on the siblings, systematically defeating all but one.”
I stared at her, intrigued in all of this new information.
“Atlas, determined to protect his kin, merged the remaining visions, unwittingly creating a new element—Light. This act of courage and sacrifice marked the dawn of a new era, as evidenced by the emblem you received in the letter from me.”
She finished.
“This is the Light element, the pinnacle of elemental power. Atlas wielded it to not only control light but also to command the other elements, a feat that saved the world from certain chaos and destruction. Elias, his adversary, stood no chance against such unimaginable power. After his heroic deed, Atlas was revered as the almighty Archon, worshiped by all, though he sought only to protect and defend against evil. His lifespan extended significantly due to his newfound abilities, allowing him to safeguard humanity for centuries.”
"Centuries? Really?" You asked incredulously.
"Indeed," Lady Eleanor confirmed. "His descendants inherited this gift, passing it down through generations. But after the 10th host, the pattern ceased. The desire for the Light element waned, and subsequent hosts failed to master the seven elements. Now, you, y/n, have the opportunity to revive this legacy, to honor your ancestors and make a difference."
You were stunned by her words, feeling overwhelmed by the weight of such a monumental task. "Learning all seven elements!? It’s hard enough learning just one! I can’t do that!" you protested.
Lady Eleanor scoffed at your hesitation. "Of course, you can! Your ancestors did it, so why can't you?"
You faltered, struggling to find a rebuttal. "I...because...you..."
"No excuses. We must start training before it's too late," she insisted, gently nudging you forward.
"Too late?" You echoed, feeling a mixture of apprehension and determination settling in.
She turned to you with a grim expression.
"Every 1000 years, a new host is chosen... but that's because Elias' darkness resurfaces every millennium. Hence, these past millennia have been so tumultuous."
"I thought you said Elias was defeated!?" you interjected.
"He was defeated... but not his darkness," Lady Eleanor clarified. "You see, when a wielder uses their abilities for evil, their minds become corrupted by the elements. It's a matter of being one with the elements, using them for good, or being consumed by them. Elias, in his pursuit of power, created a new element—darkness. His malevolent magic endured beyond his demise, choosing a new host every 1000 years and taking control of their mind. And with each passing millennium, it grows stronger. This darkness drives people to commit unspeakable acts, and if it were to overpower the light element... well, the consequences would be catastrophic."
"But what about the 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th hosts? Didn't the darkness defeat them?" you inquired, but she shook her head.
"For the darkness to truly triumph, it must vanquish the light element physically. As there hasn't been a true light elemental host in millennia, the darkness hasn't had the chance to prevail. However, with you as the new firstborn of the l/n family, you're the chosen one to confront this darkness. But we must commence your training now, before it's too late. The darkness typically doesn't manifest until a few years later, so time is of the essence. Are you in?"
You gazed at her incredulously. "How do I know I can trust you? I don't even know you personally," you challenged.
"I am Lady Eleanor, your trainer, tasked with preparing you to become the next host for the Light element," she affirmed with a smile.
"Yeah, but how do I know you're qualified to be a trainer? How do you know what to do?" you pressed.
She smiled knowingly. "Fight me, and you'll see," she proposed, prompting you to balk.
"No way! I'm not fighting an older woman like you! It's unethical!" you protested.
Suddenly, a gust of wind knocked you off the log you were perched on.
“What the hell!?” you exclaimed, as Lady Eleanor smirked.
“Come on, fight me. Or are you too weak? Just like that boy told you yesterday,” she taunted, causing your eyes to widen.
“How do you—”
“I’m well acquainted with everything happening around these parts, my dear. After all, I call this place home,” she explained, her smile widening.
“Now, are you going to fight me? Or just stand there looking pretty?” She said, making you frustrated.
“Alright, let’s see what you’ve got,” you replied, determined not to back down from the challenge.
You lunged at her with your sword, only to find a massive rock materialize between you, denting your weapon.
“My sword!” you cried out in frustration, glaring at Lady Eleanor.
Undeterred, you charged at her again, but she effortlessly disarmed you and swiftly countered your moves. Despite your efforts, you found yourself face-planted on the ground, feeling a mix of embarrassment and determination.
Lady Eleanor extended a hand to assist you to your feet, her expression softened with understanding. "You're too slow and too consumed by negative emotions," she advised gently, her voice carrying the wisdom of experience. "Inner peace is key, even in the midst of battle."
As you regained your footing, her words sank in, reminding you of the importance of maintaining a clear mind and calm demeanor, even in the face of adversity.
"I have been everyone's trainer besides Atlas'," Lady Eleanor continued, her gaze reflecting a mix of reverence and nostalgia. "He was the one who trained me... for I am the second holder of the light element."
Her revelation about being the second holder of the light element left you speechless, your eyes widening in astonishment.
“Show me then!” you demanded eagerly, hoping for a glimpse of her power.
But Lady Eleanor shook her head regretfully. “I cannot. Once I had my children, I made the choice to relinquish my light vision to be with them. It was a decision between keeping the light element or keeping my family.” she explained
“You chose what was most important to you?” you queried, seeking reassurance.
She nodded solemnly in response, her sincerity evident in her eyes.
“How do I know you’re not lying?” you pressed, your skepticism surfacing once more.
In response, Lady Eleanor lifted her wrist, revealing the luminous symbol of the light element engraved upon it. Its brilliance spoke volumes, validating her words without the need for further explanation.
“When a new holder for this element has succeeded in obtaining the gift, a symbol is engraved in their wrist for eternity. This is how you can trust me.” She said
You gasped in realization, finally grasping the authenticity of her words. “You… you really are telling the truth!” you exclaimed, a mix of surprise and relief flooding through you, making her roll her eyes in amusement.
“I’ve only been trying to say that about a hundred times,” she quipped with a hint of playful exasperation. Then, extending her hand toward you, she posed the ultimate question, “Are you in? Or are you out? The choice is yours.”
You hesitated, contemplating the weight of the decision before you. Did you truly want this responsibility, with the fate of humanity resting in your hands?
But Lady Eleanor’s reminder echoed in your mind: “Remember… a real warrior never backs down from a challenge. Are you a true warrior?”
With a newfound determination burning within you, you looked up at her and met her gaze squarely. Without a moment’s hesitation, you reached out and clasped her hand firmly, resolving to prove to yourself and everyone else that you were capable of far more than they ever imagined.
“Let’s do this.”
-back with Ajax-
It had been weeks since Ajax had last seen y/n. He felt horrible for what he said…but a part of him didn’t as well and that just made him feel worse. He had tried to reach out to you, but you never responded to him. He decided to go to Jean to see if she knew what was up with you.
*****
Ajax's frustration boiled over as he questioned Jean. "You and y/n are practically sisters! How can you not know where she is?"
Jean met his gaze, her tone gentle yet firm. "And you've been best friends with her since birth, Childe." She replied, making Ajax scoff.
"Then where is she if neither of us knows?" Ajax demanded, his impatience evident.
Jean paused. "Let's go check her house. I've been concerned about her too," she suggested, lying through her teeth. She rose to her feet with determination.
*****
The two knocked urgently on your door, their voices echoing through the empty house. With no response, Ajax's worry escalated, prompting him to kick the door open.
"Childe!"
"What? It could be an emergency," he defended, his concern palpable.
Inside, they called out for you, but the silence only deepened their apprehension. Their shock was evident as they surveyed the barren rooms, stripped of your belongings.
"What the hell?!" Ajax exclaimed, while Jean moved about the space.
Meanwhile, Ajax ascended the stairs to your room, his anxiety mounting. Upon entering, his heart clenched at the sight of the empty space. However, amidst the absence, one object remained—a broken picture frame. Carefully, he retrieved it from the floor, his chest heavy as he recognized the photo within. It was a picture of you and him from childhood.
"She... kept this? After all these years?" he murmured, his voice laced with emotion.
"It looks like she left it behind too... especially after you broke her heart with your harsh words," Jean revealed.
"What do you mean?" Ajax asked, confusion clouding his expression.
"Don't play dumb with me. She told me everything you said to her. And believe me, if she allowed me, I would've killed you already. But she made me promise not to, as long as she promised to pay me a visit every now and then after she left," Jean explained, her tone tinged with resentment.
"You knew she left!?" Ajax's voice rose in anger, his glare fixed on Jean.
"Why the hell didn't you tell me!?"
"Why should I? It's not like you would've cared anyways! You were a total dick to her, and I'm glad she's far away from here! Away from you!" Jean retorted, her own frustration boiling over.
“Well then why’d you even decide to come with me? Huh?”
”I don’t owe you any explanation.” She yelled back
Ajax stepped closer, his anger flaring. "You little—"
"Say it! Will it make you feel better? Especially knowing that you were the reason she left?” She yelled at him.
”You called her a nobody….said she was nothing. After everything she’s done for you….You should be ashamed of yourself, Childe" Jean interrupted, her words piercing through Ajax's defenses.
Now visibly shaken, Ajax recoiled, his hurt evident on his face.
"Now that you know everything, I'm going to leave. I don't want to see your face ever again…" Jean declared, turning on her heel and slamming the door behind her.
Ajax stared at the door, then down at the photo. He didn’t know what to feel…he was…confused. But why? He had Lumine…that’s all that mattered…right? It shouldn’t matter that you were gone…
But no matter what excuses he made for himself…he couldn’t get over the fact that he had lost you…his best friend…maybe something even more than just best friends…
Then and there is when he truly felt regret as tears started to fill up in his eyes…
”What have I done?”

One Sunny Day
(Stardew Valley)(Haley x Female Farmer)
Chapter 22: Haley's POV
The whole day after Danny left, I had rotted away in my bed. I had no motivation to do anything, nor was my stomach up to doing anything. It wasn’t until the next day that I was back to being me.
Unfortunately, that me was the old me. I was short fused, hot tempered, and giving attitude left and right. I couldn’t help it for whatever reason, I was just really angry.
“I’m going to Alex’s. Enjoy the empty house,” I sneered at Emily before walking out the front door. Emily had a look of disappointment on her face after I told her where I’d be going. She just shamefully shook her head and went back to working on her sewing machine.
“I’m not even going to waste my breath. Do whatever you want, just don’t go crying to Danny when you get hurt by him again, Emily shoots back.
Angrily, I turn on my heels and slam the door behind me as I walk out.
“Cry to Danny my ass. When have I ever cried to Danny about anything?” I mumble as I walk to Alex’s house. I pause in my step for a moment, realizing what I had just said. I started recalling all the times I have in fact cried to Danny. Shaking it off, I continue walking.
It was sometime in the afternoon, so there was a lot of hustle and bustle going on in town. Lots of townsfolk were going into Pierre’s to shop, or to the Stardrop Saloon for lunch. With every person I see, my heart skips a beat as I think they might be Danny. I don’t know if I am hoping to see her or not.
“Hi Evelyn! Beautiful day out today. Your flower beds are looking lovely,” I gush to Alex’s grandma when I arrive at their house. As angry as I am, no one can be mean to the sweet, elderly Evelyn.
“Why hello Haley. It’s been so long since you have been over, is everything alright?” She takes my hand and brings me further into the house.
“Everything is quite alright. I just thought I’d stop by and see how you all are. I also picked this on my way over!” I hand Evelyn a sweet pea that I found on the side of the path. She really likes flowers and will put any that she receives in a vase on the kitchen table.
“Oh my, it looks wonderful! That's very kind of you,” Evelyn starts walking to the kitchen to bring the sweet pea to the vase. Excitedly, I followed her into the kitchen to sit at the table.
When I round the corner to the kitchen, not only do I see the vase completely full of her all time favorite flowers which would be tulips and fairy roses, Danny is reclining back in one of the kitchen table chairs. I can’t see her eyes due to them being covered with sunglasses, but a huge grin is plastered across her face. She was also wearing a flannel tank top with the collar popped up to hide her neck and her cowboy hat resting on top of her brown hair. Her arms are crossed behind her head, as she dangerously tips the chair back and forth on its back legs. For a second, I can’t help but focus on the way her arm muscles are flexed but quickly snap out of it.
“A sweet pea is so thoughtful of you, Haley,” She jokes, continuously rocking back in the chair.
“How did you even get tulips and fairy roses! Those are only able to grow in spring!” I shout at her, aggressively pointing to the vase. All my anger I was suppressing has boiled to the brim.
Danny shrugs with no further explanation.
“What are you even doing here?” I shout at her again.
“Evelyn made cookies and asked if I wanted one. I’m not going to pass on that,” she says slyly as she takes a bite of a cookie.
“Haley, dear, do you want a cookie too?” Evelyn hands me a napkin with a fresh chocolate chip cookie placed on it.
I gently take the napkin from her hands and sit in the chair farthest from Danny. Just as I sat down, Danny had finished her cookie and got up.
“It was lovely seeing you Evelyn. Thank you for the delicious cookie. I’ll see you later,” Danny tips her hat down at Evelyn and starts to leave.
Before completely leaving my sight, Danny turns, slides her glasses down her nose and blows me a kiss. I feel my face get warm and quickly look away.
“What’s going on with you two? I thought you were friends?” Evelyn questions me.
“That’s not happening anymore. I completely ruined it,” I tear up as I explain to Evelyn.
“I’m sure if you guys just talk it out, you’ll be okay again?” She had walked over to rub my back as I let the tears fall.
“I wish,” I mutter. I cross my arms and rest them on the table in front of me. I lay my head down on my crossed arms and start tracing the designs on the wood of their table. Evelyn starts braiding my hair which calms me down immensely. It also causes me to let more tears roll down my cheeks from how nice she is to everyone. She truly is the best.
I spend all day hanging out with Evelyn and eventually George, Alex’s grandpa, as well. Alex was not home all day so I decided I’d wait for him by helping with chores in their house. I hate doing my own chores at home with Emily, but Evelyn and George are getting older and some things are tough on them. George is also in a wheelchair and can’t help her with much. I did a lot of their hard scrubbing and reaching into high places to dust. Helping out and cleaning really reduced the amount of stress I was feeling.
Around dinner time, Alex had waltzed through the front door. I was helping Evelyn with supper at the time, but quickly popped over to let him know I’m here and supper is almost ready.
“Hey Alex. I was waiting for you all day, where’d you go?” I ask him.
“No where,” he smugly says. I just nod my head and go back to help Evelyn. Clearly he isn’t in a good mood today either.
For dinner we had baked fish with, of course, a salad. A salad with leek in it for George. For dessert, I had helped Evelyn with making my favorite sweet treat ever. Pink cake! There was some left over so she told me I could bring it home with me.
“I’m going to the saloon. I need a beer,” Alex huffs as he gets up from the dinner table. I cringe at the thought of drinking, but quickly recover.
“I’ll come with you. Just to hangout though… I’m not drinking.”
I wave to Evelyn and George as I hurriedly try to keep pace with Alex. He is in such a rush.
“I’ll meet you over on the couch in the corner of the arcade where we usually sit. Do you want anything?” Alex states as he walks up to Gus at the bar.
“I’m alright. Still full from dinner,” I sigh as I walk to the couch. I don’t know why I wanted to see Alex so bad. He isn’t in a good mood and neither am I. Seeing Danny today left me completely flustered and lost in my thoughts.
Do I try to go see her? Do I try to talk to her about us? Is there even a point if I was to? I ask myself.
The couch cushion bounces me up as Alex plops down beside me on the couch. He takes a sip of his beer and reclines back. The two of us sit in silence, unsure of what to talk about.
Finally, Sam, Abigail, and Sebastian walk into the saloon and make their way to the arcade. Apparently the other night didn’t wreck Abigail’s friendship with the two of them. At least some of us stayed friends.
“Time to play some pool!” Sam hoots as he grabs a pool stick. Abigail grabs the other one and shoots daggers at Sam. I guess I was wrong about them being cool.
The rest of the group pours in as the night goes on. All except Danny. I’m not complaining since I’ve already seen her enough today.
Everyone in the group was looking at me funny today though. I’m not sure why they are smirking at me or looking me over. Elliot and Leah seem to be whispering about something but I see them looking my way every so often. It is really starting to bother me.
The bell over the saloon door rings out at the entrance of someone. Just as I hadn’t hoped, it was Danny. But instead of her flannel tank top with the collar popped, she had on a normal tank top that tied up in the front, showing her stomach. There was nothing hiding her neck with this shirt though, so the hickeys were on full display.
My hand flies to my mouth, causing the crowd in the arcade to bring their attention to me. I slouch back in my seat, trying to get the couch to absorb me. The entire restaurant and saloon had their eyes on Danny as she entered now, embarrassing me more since everyone can definitely see.
A few chuckles echo in the arcade area from Sebastian, Sam, Elliot and Leah, but the rest are all silent and straining their necks to look. Apparently the whole town has heard about the hickey situation and now it's their chance to catch a glimpse.
“Can’t keep anything private here,” I huff as I cross my arms.
Danny takes a seat at the bar instead of coming this way, which is the best thing she could do. She was smart enough to keep her distance. I watch as Gus takes her order and gives her a glass of water. She must feel the same about drinking again right now because usually she has a beer.
I jump up from the couch, and grab Alex’s hand. He gets the hint and stands up with me. I continue to hold his hand as we weave our way out of the arcade and saloon. Danny sees the motion of people walking out and turns to investigate. Her face is unreadable until I see her eyes focus on me holding Alex’s hand. Her face drops. I continue dragging Alex out, not giving it a second thought.
“That was only my first beer, Haley. Did we have to go already?” Alex whines as we near his house.
I pull him closer to me and whisper in his ear, “Evelyn and George are asleep. We can go to your room and… hangout?”
His face lights up and we pick up the pace into the house. We lock lips as we enter the house, bumping up against the front door from the force of the kiss.
We continue doing it all the way down the hallway, hoping to not wake up his grandparents from the bumping and stumbling around.
I rip his shirt off over his head and toss it aside once we enter his room. He guides me to the bed and starts undoing my shorts. I help him out and slide them down my legs once they are undone. He goes for my shirt next and flings it away. We continue to make out a bit longer until he pauses suddenly.
“I have to… go to the washroom,” he hesitates weirdly. He does this a lot when we are just about to go farther than making out.
He leaves me alone on the bed in his room, exposed in my pink lace lingerie. I sit up and take a look around the dark room. He loves to lift weights and play grid ball which is why there is a ton of weights and gridball equipment laying around. His whole room is covered with gridball print wallpaper which I think is cute. He also had a few posters of bodybuilders and weight lifters torn from sports magazines on his wall.
The silence of the room is interrupted by the sound of his telephone ringing. Who would be calling at this hour? Curiously, I went to pick up the phone.
“Hello? Who is this?” I speak into the phone, twirling the cord around my finger.
“It’s Taylor. Who is this?” A male voice rings through the phone. My mouth falls open in shock. Without thinking, I throw the phone back onto the receiver, hanging up on Taylor.
“Hey Hales, I heard the phone ring. You didn’t pick up, did you?” Alex bolts through the bedroom door suddenly. When he sees where I’m standing, his head lowers sheepishly, knowing exactly what I heard.
“You’re…gay?” I mutter. Taylor was the voice he always moaned accidentally whenever we had sex. He must’ve always been the person in bed when I caught Alex cheating too. I had never seen the face, but I always thought it was too unproportionate of a lump under the covers to be a girl.
Alex just nods his head, his eyes welling up with tears. Suddenly the posters of shirtless, ripped, men on the wall made sense.
“Alex, you could’ve just said something. I would never be mad at you for that,” I cautiously walked up to him and put my hand on his shoulder.
“I didn’t…I didn’t want to admit it…” he sniffles. He lowers himself and wraps his burly arms around me, nearly squeezing me to death.
“It’s all okay. You are who you are and we all love you for it,” I try comforting him.
“Says you,” he says through sobs. I freeze and pull back from the hug.
“What did you say?”
“I know what’s going on between you and Danny. Everyone does, Haley. Except you,” he wipes away his tears and just stares at me.
The tears I have frightening to hold back all day make their appearance as I register the words he had just said. He pulls me in for another hug but it’s my turn to cry.
“I don’t know what to do,” I cry into his chest.
“You guys just need to talk it out. There is so much connection between you guys, you just have to embrace it. Danny seems to be very comfortable with it, you just need to let her take the lead. She will understand this is new to you and will be patient with your feelings. Once you’ve accepted yourself, then you can kick it into high gear when you’re ready,” Alex explains, comfortingly. I have never heard him be so wise before. I guess he is also speaking from experience.
“You’re right. I’ll give it a shot. Thank you, Alex,” I squeeze him tighter and he rests his head on top of mine. We were never destined to be lovers, we were meant to be a couple of “confused feeling” besties.

A/N: Well, this is a short story I have been working on from time to time since last December. I don't know if I will ever get to complete it; however, I didn't want the piece I have written so far to rot on my computer... If this finds anyone at all, I hope you enjoy the first chapter and please let me know what you think! I could as well start a taglist if anyone is interested.

It was rather ironic that the first time her mother accompanied her to platform 9 ¾ was her last time taking the Hogwarts Express from King’s Cross Station.
Looking at her, Ophelia was once again absolutely mesmerised by her mother’s beauty -her flawless, porcelain face was adorned with her naturally turned-up nose and plump lips. Sometimes, with forty-four, she managed to look just a few years older than Ophelia, who was about to turn eighteen in a few months.
Such perfection cannot be achieved with magic, otherwise all the old hags wouldn’t be around, Ophelia thought. She must be bathing in the blood of Muggles.
Her mother turned her blue eyes at Ophelia almost immediately. “I won’t even let one of those vermin touch me -and you think I would defile my skin with their blood?” She clicked her tongue. “You disappoint me, daughter.”
“Stop lingering in my head!” Ophelia hissed between her gritted teeth as she quickly built up a mental wall using Occlumency. Of course, she knew she had to keep the wall up at all times -her mother was trying to make her get used to it -but still, she sometimes let it slip.
Her mother raised an eyebrow at Ophelia’s direction. “Then you have to be more vigilante, Ophelia.” She tried to enter Ophelia’s mind once again, only to hit the mental wall. The edge of her crimson lip curled upwards. “Impressive.”
“Father taught me well.”
“Speaking of which,” her mother said with a silk like voice. “He did want to come here to see you before you head off for the last time; however, considering how it would complicate the things, he wanted me to instead give you this.”
Ophelia snickered as her mother searched for something in her handbag. “I find it hard to imagine him standing here,” she told honestly. “But I would sure love to see the terrified looks on everyone’s faces.”
“Why terrified? He does have quite the supporters around here, dear, all the Purebloods would stand in a line to simply shake his hand.” Upon finding what she was looking for, her mother handed Ophelia a silver necklace. “For the greater good.”
Ophelia didn’t really need to look down in her palm to see what was on the necklace -it was the sign of the Deathly Hollows. As she put on the necklace and let it rest cold against her chest, her green eyes met her mother’s blue ones. “For the greater good.”
Vinda Rosier put on a questioning expression on her face when she saw her daughter placing the necklace under her white shirt. “Why are you hiding it right away?” She asked with a confused tone. “I thought you’d like it.”
“I do like it, mother,” Ophelia said and then lowered her voice to a whisper. “But I don’t want to wave it in front of Dumbledore’s face.”
A grimace appeared on her mother’s face almost immediately. “Oh, right, he still hasn’t given up on watching everything you do, has he?”
Ophelia shook her head, placing her hands into the pockets of her beige, pinafore trousers. “Nope,” she muttered. “Still like a hawk.”
From the moment Ophelia set a foot into the castle, Albus Dumbledore had been keeping a strict eye on her, observing each of her social interactions, watching every little action from her side. This still hadn’t been enough to keep Ophelia away from causing trouble or breaking the rules; however, she had to admit that it could have been easier.
In order to avoid being seen, one of the very first things she had mastered was the Invisibility Potion -which was not as effective as a real Invisibility Cloak but still allowed her to move around without being noticed.
Also, Dumbledore was the reason why Ophelia wasn’t made Prefect or Head Girl even though she was by far the brightest witch in her year. Dumbledore had quite the influence on all the other professors, hence he had successfully managed to keep them from giving Ophelia more power and influence over other students.
As if it was a better idea to give him all the power by making him Head Boy, Ophelia thought as her green eyes found a tall, pale-faced young man walking towards her, his Head Boy badge shining on his chest. Being the Golden Boy has its perks.
“Rosier,” Tom Riddle greeted Ophelia with a simple nod as he slowed down his steps. Then, he turned his dark eyes to her mother. “Vinda Rosier, I suppose?” Her mother nodded. Tom extended his hand. “Tom Riddle.”
Vinda Rosier shook his hand. “If my memory doesn’t deceive me, Ophelia has mentioned your success and extraordinary talent for magic.” She spoke with a voice as smooth as velvet, which she only used when talking with Grindelwald’s other followers. “It would be a shame to waste such a gift.”
Anyone that knew who Vinda Rosier was, could easily understand the hidden meaning of her words and judging by the look in his eyes, Tom was very well aware of what her mother was trying to imply.
“I do not intend to waste anything, Miss Rosier,” Tom responded with his Golden Boy attitude surrounding him. “However, my views on the matter are rather more radical than that of yours and his.”
Ophelia intervened quickly. “Mum, I hope you aren’t trying to recruit my classmate into the Alliance.” Her tone was mocking but still, she had lowered her voice.
A mischievous smile appeared on Vinda Rosier’s crimson lips. “Of course not, darling. However, I’d very much like to hear about his views on the matter sometime in the future.” She squinted, looking over Ophelia’s shoulder, trying to see more clearly. “Is that Francis over there?”
Looking at the same direction as her mother, Ophelia nodded upon seeing Francis Rosier -Vinda’s cousin -accompanying his daughter Aurora Rosier to the Hogwarts Express. “Yes, that’s him.”
“I shall have a word or two with him.” Vinda muttered, then she gave her daughter a warm hug. “Take care, darling and keep up the good work.”
“Thanks, Mum. Please tell Dad that I loved the present.” Ophelia spoke quietly before breaking off the hug. Vinda walked into the opposite direction, whereas Ophelia and Tom Riddle headed towards the train. “He is her cousin,” Ophelia said, causing Tom to look at her. “Francis Rosier.”
Tom nodded in an understanding manner. “I see,” he spoke with his usual, calm voice. “I figured you were related to Aurora and Augustus someway, of course, but I never knew you were distant cousins.”
Ophelia shrugged in a careless manner. “Well, Aurora herself figured that out in our fifth year, so yours is still acceptable.”
An uncomfortable silence ruled between the two as they got onboard the train and walked past numerous compartments filled with younger students on their way to the carriage inhabited by the Slytherins. Tom, however, decided to break it.
“You don’t carry the same, strong French accent as your mother.”
Ophelia chuckled lightly, she found it amusing that he chose this very detail to observe. “She was born and raised in France, also she spent most of her life there.” Ophelia responded as she pushed a strand of her chestnut hair behind her ear. “I have lived in Austria till I was 10. Then, we moved to Britain.”
Tom raised a questioning eyebrow as Ophelia stopped in front of an empty compartment. “So that you could attend Hogwarts?” He asked, only to attain a simple nod from Ophelia. “Why? You could have gone to Durmstrang.”
The young woman shrugged. “It was decided that I must attend Hogwarts.”
The edge of his lip turned upwards as Tom watched Ophelia take a seat by the window. “It has been seven years, and you still won’t let anyone get the slightest glimpse of what lies behind those icy walls of yours, will you, Rosier?”
Ophelia mirrored Tom his smile back while crossing one leg over the other. “You are a fine one to talk, Riddle.” Her voice had the hints of playfulness. “Don’t you have Head Boy duties to attend to?”
Tom shook his head in an unapproving manner and turned back to leave. “It is a shame you weren’t made Head Girl,” he said with a smooth voice as he let the compartment door close. “You’d be a better fit than Veronica Larch.”
Ophelia’s eyes widened with shock as she watched Tom Riddle walk away. They chose Veronica fucking Larch as the Head Girl and not me? For fuck’s sake, I cannot remember the last time she had better grades than I did!
Maybe she is better at sucking up to Dippet.
[Time Skip]
During the first half of the journey, Ophelia could swear she hadn’t experienced a more pleasant train ride before. She was completely alone in her compartment, there was no one bothering her with unnecessary small talk -she had absolute peace for the first time in a long while.
She had spent the summer holiday in Austria -in Nurmengard Castle to be more precise -along with her mother and Grindelwald’s other Acolytes. It was better than having to stay with her grandparents in Britain, of course -but still, it had been quite stressful at times.
When things were not going the way he planned them to, Grindelwald was not fun to be around.
However, she needed to get used to his bad side as well since she wanted to take her place among his Acolytes as soon as she was done with Hogwarts. This had been her biggest dream ever since she was a little girl -to help Grindelwald establish a wizard-led system the world desperately needed.
The greater good had been the only thing she had seen around her while growing up, her mother used to tell her bed-time stories about the new world they were trying to build -Grindelwald and his Acolytes.
That was why she had spent the summer in Nurmengard, training with her mother and the other Acolytes in their spare time. Hogwarts had been successful in teaching her most of the vital things she needed; however, it lacked the training in Dark Arts -which was by far the most important branch Ophelia had to master.
While Ophelia was lost in her own world, the door to the compartment was opened, causing the young woman to leap up in her place. “Sorry, we didn’t mean to scare you.” Abraxas Malfoy was standing at the door with Aurora Rosier and Emrys Lestrange behind him. Upon seeing the disturbed look in Ophelia’s green eyes, Abraxas spoke hesitantly. “If you want to be left alone, we could just leave.”
Ophelia rolled her eyes at him as she shrugged in a careless manner and took off the navy-blue scarf wrapped around her shoulders -it was getting warmer.
Emrys snickered at Ophelia’s reaction as he sat down next to her, Abraxas and Aurora took the seat across. “At the beginning of every year, we somehow hope for Ophelia to come back a little less distant, but it always ends in a huge disappointment.” His voice carried the hints of mocking.
“Just admit that you are in love with me, Emrys.” Ophelia crossed her arms over her chest, raising an eyebrow at Emrys’ direction. From the corner of her eye, she could see Aurora and Abraxas holding hands. So, they finally got together, she thought to herself. Not that it interests me, but it took them long enough.
Emrys let out a laughter this time. “For that to happen, one needs to get to know you first.” He shrugged. “I don’t see it happening even in our last year at Hogwarts, sunshine.”
The edge of Ophelia’s lip curled upwards, even though she wasn’t fond of small talk, sometimes she found it entertaining to bicker with Emrys. “Fair enough.”
“Are you two done?” Aurora asked with a somewhat annoyed tone. After taking a deep breath, the strawberry blonde turned her gaze at Ophelia. “How was your summer?”
Ophelia pushed her waves out of her sight as she responded. “It was nice, I got to spend more time with my parents this time and learned some interesting stuff. What about you?”
Aurora’s light blue eyes found that of Abraxas’ as a small smile formed on her lips. “I spent the last three weeks with Abraxas in France.”
“So this,” Ophelia pointed at their hands, “happened right after we returned home?” The couple nodded simultaneously. Ophelia sent them a fake smile. “Good for you.”
“But not so good for us,” Emrys muttered, “they will be making out all the time in the common room.”
Ophelia heaved a sigh. “Then simply look away.”
Abraxas chuckled upon hearing Ophelia’s remark. “I knew my second favourite Rosier would support us.” He said, causing Emrys to roll his eyes in an exaggerated way. “I have never seen you wearing a necklace.”
It took a few seconds for Ophelia to realise that Abraxas was talking to her. “Yeah, it is a gift from my… parents.”
Aurora seemed interested, too. “Can I see it?” She asked, only to correct herself. “I mean we, sorry, I forget how much of a little girl Abraxas becomes when it is about jewellery.”
The blonde-haired young man was about to come up with something clever to say to his girlfriend; however, the whole compartment went completely silent for a few moments as Ophelia showed them the rest of the necklace.
Everyone was familiar with the association between the Deathly Hollows and Grindelwald.
“Well,” Abraxas began to speak, “it is quite courageous to carry that around your neck at this time, don’t you think so?”
Before Ophelia could snap at him, Aurora took the word. “It has been common knowledge for a long time that Ophelia supports Grindelwald and his case -at least she has the guts to stand behind her words and her beliefs.” It was seldom that Aurora Rosier became that serious. “Unlike us all, who dare speak about our support only behind closed doors.”
Abraxas couldn’t come up with a response, Emrys turned his gaze to the ground.
A warm smile formed on Aurora’s lips as she looked at Ophelia. “I think it is beautiful.” She said, pointing at the necklace. However, Ophelia wasn’t really there at that moment, instead her mind was drifting to a memory from her fifth year at Hogwarts.
Ophelia freed her arm from Aurora’s firm hold, who had been dragging her to the bathroom at their dormitory. “What the fuck is wrong with you, Aurora?!” Ophelia hissed between her gritted teeth.
“I should ask you the same question, Ophelia.” Aurora responded, her voice was becoming louder by the second. “How can you not tell me that you are Gellert Grindelwald’s one and only heir?!”
