Boothil has me on a chokeholdI want to fuck him so bad.Maybe install a few softwares, up his sensitivity, play with his mind.. Or maybe a lewd virus.. Make him so horny and needy, his head can literally think of you fucking him so good..Or him accidentally plugging the wrong USB, thinking it's his usual data after rebooting, but it's your USB and it messed with him.. I want to fuck his pretty hole so bad
hi anon this is tasty oml
imagine his sensitivity's been all off, some kinda glitch maybe from an incident during one of his missions. one moment it's been too low, and the next (just like now) it's way, way too high. for every other touch it's just annoying, but every time you've brushed past him today, he's failed to mention his issue with just how aroused he feels himself getting. it's different when it's your touch.
when he finally bucks up and admits that he's been having issues, you're so caring, so much more considerate of his senses (he wishes you wouldn't be - he really just wants you to fuck him dumb every time you so much as graze him) as you set out a few USBs and ask him to wait while you go grab some other tools to fix up his sensors. he asks what they're for, and when you tell him they're various types of sensations compiled into USBs to better test each type of touch, he figures he might as well just get a jumpstart with the testing so he doesn't waste your precious time.
he opts for the USB sitting the furthest away. the fool, he hadn't even asked you what sensation each one was before trying it out. it could've been pain, a ticklish feeling, but no, he got arousal. it was like he was overwhelmed like an animal in heat at once, his eyes shooting open as his cock strained against his trousers painfully. images of you involuntarily flashed through his mind, and he had to fight to keep himself breathing normally, but it was no use...
you get back to find him practically humping the air, strands of black and white hair sticking to his forehead as he pants and moans and begs for your help. you're concerned until you see the USB sticking out of his port and realize at once what he's done, lightly chastising him (horrendous torture for him in this state, surely, to have your breath so gently tickling his ear as he suffers) on not touching your tools without asking you first.
unfortunately, it'd be too risky to go in and fix this via his inner wiring while he's this worked up... it might burn you with how much he's overheating. so the only solution is to fuck his brains out until he's at least semi-conscious enough to cool down. good thing you made sure he'd be able to fuck in any way a normal man could when adding his sensitivity! giving him all the facilities is coming in handy.
poor guy doesn't even have the time or mental faculties to ask why the hell you had an arousal USB among the testers present.
ooooh, maybe use a toy on his cock while you pound into him... it'll give you a nice view of his face while he's being completely overwhelmed, his eye filled with hearts, rolling back as his tongue sticks out from behind those pretty lips of his. a nice, slick onahole should do wonders to cool him down after one, three, five... maybe more orgasms, even as he begs you to stop despite his hips continuing to rut into the gadget. the fun thing about fucking a robot is that he can go a lot more than a human can, and as much as boothill tosses his head from side to side, actual tears beginning to spill, you can also see the drool beginning to fall from his lips, his lolling tongue as he groans your name over and over.
he's got a pseudo-prostate that you make sure to nail with precision every time your strap slides inside of him, the impeccable design of his insides allowing you to slip in and out with ease. you remove the onahole from his weeping cock (another feature that aids the toy and your current activities as a whole), pushing his legs up and folding him in half into a mating press, just to see if he can cum only from his prostate. and cum he does - his voice coming out higher and higher pitched as he wails in both euphoria and humiliation at your treatment of him.
finally, you slow when you realize he has indeed begun to cool. his eyes are rolled back, hair messy and splayed across the table, harsh scratches made by his metal nails into the steel table (somehow). he's not quite unconscious, but he certainly can't form any further words, his breathing heaving with small, scattered moans as he tries to regain himself. his emergency cooling procedure had kicked into high gear at last, aiding you in fixing up his sensitivity.
oh, but perhaps leave that special USB lying around. mark it clearly, and pretend not to notice when boothill digs through your messy desk to find it and plug it back in, acting for all the world that he didn't mean to use that special little one on himself again. he's got too much pride to admit it, after all. oh well, it seems you'll have to help him once more!

HOW HATERS ARE BORN (HHAB)
♡ chapter twenty-nine — bittersweet (💋)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Reading the text didn’t bring tears to his eyes, but for some reason, it still stung badly.
It wasn’t the words themselves, but a twinge of disappointment that he felt shortly afterward. It ruminated in his thoughts the minute that the car ride started, and all he was left with was his own disappointment, and a lack of fight left.
And as he sat in that passengers seat, the words seemed to be knocked out of him yet again. The world blurred into a haze of colors and shapes. He clenched at his own palms until his knuckles turned white and his mind spiraled.
It suffocated him, but he knew a lot about that to endure it anyway.
"You know," A female's voice rippled through his chaos to grasp his attention. "It's not that bad."
He blinked, slowly refocusing his gaze and turning his head manually towards Furina. "What is."
"The (Y/N) stuff." She said, glancing every now and then from the road towards him.
His expression was of weary resignation. "You think so?" He sighed out, the words feeling heavy on his tongue every time he even spoke.
"They may be mad at you right now, but you have a plan." She said, her gaze steady. "It may not be fool proof, but you'll come out of it with a clearer conscience than that Tartaglia ever will. I promise."
But even with her promises, it didn't feel right to be comparing his peace of mind to another's. Maybe his conclusion would be completely different after all. Her words rushed over him like a soothing balm, the turmoil that he usually felt being nudged away.
For the first time in forever, he felt somewhat of a spark of determination. "Thanks." He murmured audibly, a small gasp coming from the former as he cringed, "For...all this, I guess. It's not often people are this nice to me."
"I didn't think you were capable of being grateful! I should gloat in this." She grinned, "You've grown used to people treating you like a liability. Whether you like it or not, it's not normal. Wean yourself off of that as soon as possible."
The rest of the car trip was silent. He couldn't entirely take his mind off of the events, and even the meeting he's taking himself to, but the passing scenery outside the car window put his mind elsewhere until the car slowed to a stop.
He put his back cap and mask on with less resolve than what he started with, unable to shake the feeling of discomfort her felt now that the gravity of the situation weighed down on him. He looked again out the window at the exact seat he wanted before exhaling. "If I don't come back, just abort mission."
"Don't be dramatic." Furina's eyes dulled, also knowing this situation was wary. "But...I'll be near, okay? Just in case this goes south and it actually is someone trying to kill you."
"Yeah, it's really fun being shark bait, thank you." He shook his head to himself, opening the car door to approach the cafe.
The building was more certain than he was in that moment, a warm glow beckoning the area. He never realized how little he went out these days, this same coffee shop was entirely different than the last time he came. The familiar sight and sounds of the city he used to know was suddenly unfamiliar to him.
Muted voices to him inside the little shop, all rambling vicariously. It was funny, the main reason he stopped even coming here was because things started getting busier and busier. Ei would apply pressure to him once he agreed to the streaming stuff. Did he ever really lose his identity if he never got to have one in the first place?
He squared his shoulders once the espresso he ordered was ready, quickly nodding in acknowledgement to the barista and sitting outside for a breath of fresh air. Everything around him was suffocating, and he never thought he'd be like one of those guys who are scared of having an actual life outside of their computer.
Maybe that was her plan, now that he was thinking about it.
He let the cool breeze wash over him, despite almost his whole face being covered except his eyes. He felt skittish, and uneasy, fingers lightly tapping at the to go cup of espresso in his hands. "What am I even looking for..." He murmured irritably, annoyance plaguing his thoughts.
It was a long, and arduous three minutes he sat there thinking about who Twitchpatch may possibly be now that he knew about Childe. How the fuck did he even know who it was? A familiar of his, maybe? But not that many people know about Narukami coffee shop unless someone who did told someone else.
And if they did...then there's also a limited amount of people. He didn't know what to think...until it hit him. Why would Twitchpatch, a news source, know about an indie coffee shop if they weren't also from Inazuma..?
And once he came to that conclusion as the cup was near his lips ponderingly, a feminine voice called, "I didn't think you'd be early."
His heart dropped to his stomach in an instant, his eyes slowly lifting up to meet the woman's voice. There, standing before him, was a sight that he never thought he'd be able to see again in his entire lifetime. Time stopped for him, and he slowly began to look mortified once he realized...
"What the fuck, Makoto." Scaramouche's voice cut through the air, sharp and accusatory. He almost lost it, if it weren't for her softer expression evening out.
"Hey, Kuzu." Makoto said with a softer tone, sitting down in front of him hesitantly. "I thought I wouldn't feel anything out of this, but...it's different when it's you."
"Fuck you." He snapped, his eye almost twitching from how many emotions were going through him in the moment. "Ei said you left us. You made that decision on your own."
"You're missing a lot of the story."
"And even with that in mind, I didn't do shit to you for you to play fake fucking journalist." He pointed. "Yeah, forgot about that little detail? The lie you capitalized off in humor of both of our downfalls? They're scattering to find a way for me to clear the controversy right now because of you."
"Is that not what Ei wanted? Controversy all of the time?" Makoto raised an eyebrow, sitting back in the chair. "It wasn't my desired effect, trust me."
"Yeah? That wasn't what you wanted to happen? I thought you were the one to always think about what you do before you do it. I guess. Fucking. Wrong." He seethed, his teeth grinding into each other. "I should narc on you right now."
Makoto's expression softened, and she reached out tentatively, her hand hovering in the air. "Please, just listen to me for a second."
"Why should I?" He recoiled. "I'm not even mad about what you did to me. But you had no place bringing other people into this. You don't get to waltz back in to my life after doing all of this and act like what you did was some sort of poetic justice. That's not how this works."
"I had no intention on it." Makoto sighed, her shoulders slumped as her eyes narrowed away from him. "Listen...Ei and I had a bad argument before I left. I felt like she was starting to change after all of this and she denied all of it and threatened me. I can't save a dying group if its leader isn't open to criticism."
He scoffed, bitterness tainting his tone. "And you only decided to tell me about this after you left me clueless? About where you were after you fucked off and went off the radar without a word? Are you not essentially just doing what she did?"
"I never said that what I did was okay!" Makoto frowned. "This meeting is harder than I thought it'd be...I wanted to figure out a way I could get you out of there as quick as possible, but I didn't have a way at that time. I was reckless...and it lead to this. If I had the ability to rally up more capable people for the job, I would. But this is all I've got. And you shouldn't be okay with how you're being treated there just because of what I did."
He knew that he wanted to clap back at her again, but he knew she was right in that accord. He chewed at the inners of his mouth, staring at her with an intense gaze.
"You lost the spark in your eyes, Kuzu." She said, "I've seen your streams. You're not even happy doing it, it's like there's nothing there. Why do you do them, in that case?"
"I didn't lose it." He corrected.
"Every time your stream, it feels like you're not passing time. You don't want to be there, and not many people can see it, but you used to look different...more lively." Makoto observed, "It feels like I'm looking at a carcass of what that used to be. You don't eat much, you don't sleep with what I've seen. You always seem like you're worried about something. It's disheartening. Excuse me for thinking of a way out for you."
He sighed fiercely at her, "What do you want from me? What do you want me to do about it?" He had trouble looking into her eyes. "You really...really fucked with me, Makoto."
Makoto sat in silence for a moment, the weight of their shared history hanging heavy in the air. But amidst her own regrets, she stood up after a second and gave a small smile. "You should stop, this isn't good for you. You're...like, deep frying your own brain at this point."
"How do you know what's good for me?" He bit back one last time before feeling his confidence weaken. "You don't even know a thing about me these days."
Her smile didn't waver at his words anymore, she gave him a light pat on his head in mild comfort before stepping back. "Stop streaming, Kuzu." She said, "And if it makes you feel better, air everything out. It's the least you could do for all that she made you do, right? I'm sorry I won't be there beside you to see it."
That light pat was something that he hated, but at the same time, haven't gotten the chance to be granted in ages. He never gave people the chance to get too close to him after all of this, nor even give them the reason to in the first place. It was bittersweet, his heart swelled with the same confusion and kindness Makoto gave him back them.
He wanted to prove her wrong, but he knew it was beyond his pride to keep her by his side. Even with how aware she was that she was right about him. Looking at her after a while, she could tell from his eyes that he was hurt. "I'll see you again sometime, okay? Reconcile with that (Y/N) if you ever get the chance; you seem to like them anyway beyond all the fake news."
She left as quick as she came, and with Scaramouche's previous arrogance and general disposition. He didn't know what to do anymore.

god of mischief indeed
loki laufeyson x reader
summary: you would’ve never thought this was what loki said about you when you weren’t around.
warnings: very small angst, wholesome, fluff
part count: 2/2
an: omg so sorry for the super late upload!!! hope you all enjoy!!
part one
Tumblr media
it had been only a few days ever since you overheard loki speak with thor about you. you had moved into your new room and you were comfortable. but even then, you wouldn’t and couldn’t lie to yourself and say you didn’t miss him to death.
you sat up on your bed, unable to sleep yet again tonight. you found yourself reminiscing of all those things he did that you mistook for habits. your hand ran towards the empty pillow besides yours. you missed him like crazy, but those words of his wouldn’t leave your mind. you still couldn’t believe how he proudly admitted to playing with your feelings, and how cold he seemed. you have been distant ever since. completely ignoring his existence. you wanted nothing to do with him, and everyone could tell.
you decided something to drink could help. you stood up from your bed and left your room to find yourself something to help you relax. you walked into the kitchen and began looking for any sort of tea that could help you sleep at least a few hours tonight. you sighed in pure exhaustion as you continued to look in the dark. after a few minutes of endless searching, the lights of the kitchen suddenly switched on. you almost jumped, startled.
you turned around, ready to joke with whoever turned the light on. yet all you did was frown at the sight of loki. of the man who had just broken your heart into pieces only a few days back. you took in his appearance, his messy long hair, dressed in casual clothing, it was such a nice sight. a sight you used to adore but now only caused you pain. you sighed and turned around yet again, continuing to find yourself something soothing to drink.
loki let out a sigh behind you, walking closer. he stood by the end of the counter, as he watched your every move, confused as to why you were suddenly ignoring him.
“love?” loki called out, and goosebumps covered your skin. you hated the effect he easily had on you. you ignored his call entirely. “darling, what’s going on?” he asked, shamelessly. you almost chuckled, whilst you started to heat up water in a pot. loki sighed deeper, not understanding why you seemed so distant.
“y/n.” he said sternly, but ignored yet again. he walked closer to you, now grabbing your arm, to gain your attention. “y/n—“
“don’t touch me.” you spat at him, removing his hands off you, in both anger and sadness. he stared at you in disbelief.
“have i done something? why do you act this way towards me, love?” he asked, and you almost wanted to hit him. did he really not know? you shook your head, amazed by him.
“why do you care so much for someone you’re only having fun with, huh?” you asked, crossing your arms infront of your chest. you were tired of his lies. loki tilted his head, confused, furrowing his eyebrows.
“love, what are you—”
“anyone must be insane to believe you’d settle with me of all people.” you continued, until he seemed to have realized what you were talking about.
“you heard.”
“i heard.” you replied, drily. loki sighed deeply, before looking back into your pained eyes. you turned around yet again, to continue what you were doing.
“dear—“
“stop calling me that. stop talking to me as if i’m stupid.” you interrupted him. loki took a deep breath, trying to find the words to possibly calm you down.
“y/n.” he said, dropping all the nicknames all together. “you have it all wrong. believe me, i—”
“you what, loki? you love me? oh, please, you can’t think i’d actually believe that.” you laughed, turning to look at him, his expression further saddening but you couldn’t care less.
“y/n. listen to me, won’t you?” loki attempted to say, his hands trying to find their place in your waist, yet you pulled away from him again. “come back to our room. let’s talk this out.” he tried convincing you.
“i mean absolutely nothing to you, laufeyson. nothing.” you painfully admitted. “i am simply someone you can screw around with whenever you’re bored. i’m nothing more or nothing less to you.” you continued, loki shook his head, disagreeing with you.
“so i won’t burden you any longer— hell, you probably only came to look for me because you wanted someone to sleep with, didn’t you?” you finished, turning around again to continue what you came for. loki stood behind you, as if frozen in place, not knowing what to do or what to say. his hand started to reach out again, needing to feel you, to hug you and beg you to come back to him. but his pride got the best of him. he pulled his hands back and began walking away from you.
“very well.” was the last thing he said, before he walked back into his room, leaving you all alone in the kitchen.
“oh, my god.” you whispered, leaning against the counter, now trying to catch your breath. it took everything in you to not forgive him and hug him. you didn’t even realize your hands were shaking until you tried pouring the hot water into a pot, and failed. maybe it was best you didn’t drink anything that night.
=============
“you clean up nicely.” tony remarked, as you walked into the party. you let out a small giggle, shaking your head. the avengers had planned a party, to celebrate all their recent victories. you were excited for it. it had been so long since you last spoke to loki. it was painful to say the least.
it now seemed as if he didn’t care about you anymore. you’d catch him staring at you here and there, but his eyes were not full of love like before. you could only see anger and even confusion at times.
but loki. he was suffering as he watched you from a far, being so happy without him. god, it was eating him alive. he felt insane. he couldn’t understand why you seemed to be doing so well without him. how could you? when he’s helpless without you? but he would never admit his feelings for you. he wouldn’t dare speak to you.
but even then, loki couldn’t prevent his eyes from widening at the sight of you. the sight of his woman, looking as gorgeous as ever. your beauty was intense. his jaw clenched, as he leaned against the bar, watching your every move. and you knew of this. you could feel his eyes as if they were his beloved daggers. yet your thoughts were interrupted by pietro, laying his hand on your lower waist.
loki let out a breathless, bitter chuckle. who does this boy think he is? loki grabbed his cup of whiskey and drank the entirely of it, soon ordering yet another glass, his eyes still glued to you.
“you look beautiful.” pietro whispered in your ear, and you couldn’t help but blush. it has been so long since you were last complimented on your appearance. it wasn’t even close to how loki seemed to worship you back then, but those were probably lies, right?
“are you alone tonight, darling?” pietro asked yet again. you nodded gently, looking into his eyes. he smiled widely and shook his head, leaning once again to whisper in your ear.
“not anymore.”
you giggled, softly hitting his arm. he chuckled at your loveliness and looked at the others, trying to catch up on their conversation. you grinned softly, completely oblivious to the jealous loki watching you from afar.
“lovely couple.” thor broke loki’s silence, followed by a mocking chuckle, sitting next to him at the bar. “don’t you think?” he asked, whilst ordering his own glass.
loki stayed completely quiet, not daring to look away.
“he seems to compliment her quite well...” thor continued, looking at his brother besides him. he watched as loki’s expression changed all together.
“brother—“
“it wouldn’t surprise me if pietro’s currently pursuing her. it’s slightly obvious.” thor interrupted loki, who seemed to be getting more uncomfortable by the minute.
“i mean, she is a gorgeous woman—”
“stop it, will you?” loki finally spoke, his hands massaging his temples in frustration. thor chuckled softly, taking a small sip of his glass, amused by his brother’s stubbornness.
“what is it?” thor said after some minutes of silence, a bit worried for his brother. loki had never acted this way. loki let out a big sigh, meeting thor’s eyes for the first time.
“i simply—“
“you’re in love with her.” thor said, shrugging his shoulders, as if it was obvious. loki widen his eyes, almost shocked. was it truly that obvious? were his feelings that apparent? can’t be… because if they were, why didn’t you notice? if they were, why were you here with pietro tonight? loki looked back at you, his eyes pained as he watched you enjoying yourself at the presence of another person that wasn’t him.
“i don’t know what it is you’re talking about.”
“won’t you stop being dishonest with yourself?” thor said, somewhat annoyed by loki’s obliviousness. loki looked at thor once again, his eyes full of confusion and sadness.
“i can tell, brother. how smitten you are with her. we all can.” thor declared, finishing his drink. he let out an exhausted sigh before continuing. “you’re the only one who still hasn’t realized it.”
“i—” loki started, his eyes going back to your figure, dancing with pietro in the dance floor. his heart sinking whenever you’d smile, his hands sweating in nervousness. “i don’t know what to do.” loki confessed, dropping his head in defeat. thor listened closely.
“I don’t know how to alleviate— i just— don’t know how to fix this.” loki shook his head, as he remembered the things he said, and how hurt you were because of him. “i haven’t got a clue on what to do to get her back.”
“mhm…” thor hummed, as if thinking before speaking up soon after. “have you ever heard of apologizing?” thor joked, earning a deadly look from the god. thor raised his arms in defense, chuckling. “i’m just saying, brother. an apology can do so much… and your confession.” thor said, loki looked at his brother, nodding his head in agreement. thor offered him a small smile, before tapping his shoulder.
“you must hurry, before you genuinely lose her.” thor finished, before walking away, leaving loki all alone. loki let out a breath, he didn’t know he was holding and nodded his head. he needed to speak to you. he needed to get you back.
he kept watching you. waiting for the perfect moment to snatch you away. yet pietro was by your side all night. it was so angering and bothersome to loki. his moment soon came though, when you excused yourself. you needed some fresh air, your social battery was already running out.
you offered smiles as you walked through the party, there were more people than you expected. you let out a thankful sigh as soon as you officially walked out of the party, towards the foyer. the air was cold. causing you to softly hug yourself, seeking warmth. you closed your eyes, finally feeling peace and enjoying the quiet. you didn’t even feel the presence of loki, before he softly spoke up.
“hiding from your date?” loki gently said, breaking the silence. you almost jumped by the sudden sound of his voice. you offered him a small smile, before going back to looking upfront, shaking your head.
“just needed some fresh air.” you simply replied, licking your dry lips. loki nodded, still keeping his place close behind you. he could smell your sweet perfume, you were wearing his favorite.
“why are you with him tonight?” loki finally asked, somewhat terrified of your answer. you looked back him, confused.
“why do you care?” you asked.
“answer me, y/n.” loki pleaded. you furrowed your eyebrows, fully turning around and facing him. you tilted your head in confusion.
“because he seems to care for me, and—”
“and i don’t?”
“w—what?” you asked, baffled by his words. “no, loki. you don’t.” you confirmed, looking deeply into his eyes. loki scoffed a grin, bewildered by your stupid response. how could you ever think like that? when he loved you so?
“you must have lost your mind.” loki mumbled, shaking his head. that stupid grin of his still plastered on his face. you bit your lip, angrily. “you know i do, y/n.”
“do i?” you asked, tears beginning to well up in your eyes. “do i really? you never tell me anything, how am i supposed to be so sure of that?”
“y/n—” loki started, now walking closer to you, his hands reaching out to lay on their place on your soft cheeks, yet you pulled back from him. his eyes looked at you, shocked and hurt. “please. let me show you.” he almost begged. you sniffled, trying to decide on whether letting him touch you. after a while, you nodded.
loki placed his hands on your cheeks, his thumb softly caressing your shiny skin as he admired you. it had been so long since he had actually looked at you. so long since he had the privilege to touch you and even breathe the same air as you. he locked eyes with you once again and spoke up.
“of course i care for you. there’s absolutely no one else in this or in any universe that i care for and that matters to me more than you.” loki confessed, and you froze in place. you couldn’t believe this was happening. you couldn’t believe the words that were leaving his mouth.
“but then, why— why would you—”
“i don’t know why i’d say something like that. i truthfully— please believe me when i say that i didn’t mean any of that.” loki interrupted you, his hand softly removing a piece of hair from your face. you sighed shakily as you listened to him.
“i just don’t understand…” you whispered. “if you really care, then why would you say something like that? why wouldn’t you want to be with me?” you asked, your voice breaking mid sentence. loki felt his heart breaking into a million pieces as he watched the tears leave your eyes.
“oh, love.” loki said softly, almost in a whisper as he tried drying your endless tears. “i— i’m terrified.” loki confessed, his hands dropping gently to his sides, and stepping back from you, giving you your space. you looked at him through your watery eyes.
“of what?”
“i’m in love with you.” loki bluntly confessed. and you froze in place. he was… what? loki bit his bottom lip, his hands starting to sweat. he even looked shocked himself by his sudden confession. you could even see his chest sinking, trying to find his breath.
“i want you— i’ve wanted you for so long. i can rarely breath whenever you’re not besides me. i feel at ease by simply hearing you breathe.” loki rumbled, his hands running through his hair anxiously.
“i just— i wasn’t sure of how you felt, hell, i wasn’t sure of how i felt.” loki continued.
“loki…” you started, taking a cautious step closer to him.
“no one has ever loved me or has ever treated me the way you have and.. i am simply horrified of losing… this, by my greed. i— want more. i—”
“i love you. i— i do. there’s not a day i haven’t not loved you. i— i love you so much that it can’t even begin to be described. so much that i could and would die from it.” loki continued and yet, you couldn’t move. you just listened to his words, letting him let it all out.
“however… i don’t deserve it. i don’t deserve you. i’m aware of that.” loki said softly, so sadly it brought tears to yours eyes yet again. “how could you ever feel anything asides from hate for someone like me?” loki chuckled, and you were at the verge of tears. it hurt so bad, seeing the man you love be so insecure and overall love starved, to the point where he actually believes he’s unlovable.
“loki— listen to me, will you?” you almost whispered, closing the space between the two of you. your hands ran to his cheeks, cupping his handsome face. his pained expression pulling at your heart strings.
“i’m being selfish, y/n, i acknowledge that. but i realized i can’t live without you. my world has no meaning if you’re not in it, but i can’t— you don’t deserve this.” loki almost sobbed in your hands, closing his eyes, trying his hardest to remain strong. you couldn’t breathe by watching the man you loved so much be so vulnerable, and all for you.
“i love you.” you gently started, your thumbs stroking his soft skin. you heard as loki took a shaky breath, his hands hovering over your body, as if scared to touch you. his eyes starting to water as he looked back into your gorgeous eyes.
“i’ve loved you ever since i first laid my eyes on you.” you continued, and watched as loki closed his eyes again, a small tear leaving his eyes.
“i’m sorry.” loki apologized, already in tears and you couldn’t help but hug your gentle giant.
“i know. it’s alright.” you consoled him, your hand stroking his back lovingly as he cried in your shoulder.
“but never say or do anything that stupid ever again.” you joked, earning a small grin from loki, who only nodded desperately.
“y/n.” loki spoke, after pulling away from your hug and now looking directly into your eyes. “are—are you sure? of this? of us?” he asked insecurely, and it made you frown deeper.
“loki—”
“do you understand all the danger there is to being by my side? i’m not a hero, y/n, i will never be and i just— i don’t want to ruin any perception you could have of me.” loki said, his voice full of anxiety. you placed your hand in his cheek yet again, and leaned in to finally kiss your man.
you heard his breathe hitch as you placed your soft lips on top of his. you kissed loki sweetly, intending to communicate all of your feelings for him in one simple kiss. soon enough, loki finally placed his hands on your waist, comfortable and confident enough to touch you. his tongue soon entered your mouth, now fully tasting you. the kiss lasted a few minutes, and you didn’t want it to end. you didn’t know how much you loved kissing loki, until you were deprived of it for so long. you soon pulled away, resting your head on his.
“i love and want you, loki. not a perception. i want you because you’re you.” you said gently, as to comfort him. he sighed softly, only listening to what you had to say.
“i don’t know what you’ve been through, that has caused you to think like this, but you deserve all the love in this world, and i’m honored to finally give it to you.” you continued, placing a sweet kiss to his cheek, earning a shy smile from the god. “please let me continue loving you, loki laufeyson.”
loki didn’t even have to answer. he just wrapped his arms around you, engulfing you into a loving hug. you giggled softly, returning the hug. you caressed his back lovingly, as loki finally realized you were his. his woman, the love of his life. he found himself smiling knowing that his insecurities didn’t win, and here he was, hugging the love of his life. loki soon pulled away, looking into your sweet eyes.
“pietro.”
“pietro…?” you repeated, confused.
“if he ever dares to lay his dirty hands on you again, i swear—” loki was interrupted by your laughter. he couldn’t help the smile that appeared on his face as he heard you laugh, but this time because of him.
“i’m serious, darling. watching him shamelessly flirt with you has been torture these part few weeks. i will not stand it any longer.” loki said, shaking his head. you giggled, nodding your head.
“you deserved it.” you joked, loki smirking at your comment.
“i did.” loki said, softly pecking your lips lovingly.
“yes, i did.”

The vampire and könig the hunter
M4m
18+
Hey, I am still working on those part 2s and another request but I love vampires and really wanted to make this. Another jay original! In this the reader is the vampire and könig is the hunter, swapped from the stuff I usually see. I hope you like it!
This is gonna be a bit of a longer one for me and pretty dialogue heavy, but I also put a lot of effort into it. :)
Feel free to make requests
You’ve been around a long time, you’ve all but lost track of the years, no, centuries rather. You’ve had a lot of hunters come after you, it was inevitable after all, you expected it. Yet you’re still here, either from luck or just the stupidity of those who came after you. However, there was one, who over the last little while has been persistent, and you’ve been too entertained to kill him. You terrorize the people of the city, and he’s always there after, just after, and you always taunt him, leaving notes in blood or just straight up watching him from a distance. Tonight is different, you finally decide to actually talk to him, and maybe find a new snack.
You decided to feed him some false information of the location of a vampire, as you waited on a roof for him, for a surprisingly long time, you finally spot him on the ground below and drop down behind him
Reader-“finally, I was starting to think-“
You get cut off as he spins around and plunges a knife in your abdomen. You pull away and slowly pull the knife out. While it drips your blood onto the ground the wound closes and you look up at könig.
Reader-“that is not nice”
You say annoyed as you point the knife at him before dropping it to the ground.
König-“Hölle. Why are you here, I have business and don’t need your shit”
He says as he shoots you a glare. He knows he can’t beat you, but he doesn’t yet know why you’re here.
Reader-“that’s right, about the location of a puny vampire right?”
I smirk and he looks at me with confusion
König-“how did you-“
Reader-“I planted that information”
König glares
König-“you have some nerve doing that, you’re lucky I don’t kill you now”
You chuckle
Reader-“nerve? I do what I want and you know that”
You cross your arms and keep up your shit eating grin.
König-“so arrogant, as always. Don’t forget who you’re talking too”
König scoffs, but deep down he’s happy you haven’t lost your confidence
Reader-“bla Bla bla, vampire hunter, Bla bla.”
You chuckle
Reader-“you have a few more grey hairs than i remember”
That hits könig a bit deeper than he’d like to show, he has aged, quite a bit actually since you two first encountered each other, yet you look just the same, so alluring. Konigs eyes shimmer in the moonlight
König-“you never could keep your mouth shut, Abschaum. But that never stopped you from being a pain in my ass”
He says as he rolls his eyes
Reader-“no I can. I just choose not to, it’s much more fun”
You giggle like a schoolgirl, your words sounding more and more sensual
König-“you haven’t changed a bit”
He mutters under his breath, but he can’t help but feel a hint of nostalgia from all of your other encounters.
König-“but there’s no point in trading barbs with you anymore”
He said softly, shifting more from irritation to acceptance
Reader-“why not? I still find it fun”
König-“I have things to do”
He turns to start walking away but you take a step towards him, grabbing his wrist
Reader-“really? Better than me?”
You pout playfully, your pale skin glowing in the moonlight, your flowing black hair swaying softly.
König-“well…since you said you fed me that information, I guess not”
He stopped and you let go of his wrist, as a sign of thanks. He knew there was nothing more important than the strongest vampire around, he just didn’t exactly know what to do next.
Reader-“you know, a lot of the “intelligence” you get is fed directly from me, you know that right?”
You say smugly, using air quotes around intelligence
König-“you’d be surprised how many spies I have in your ranks”
You let out a hearty laugh
Reader-“oh I know, of course I know. You humans forget you smell different”
Konigs eyes widen a bit, taken aback by what you said
König-“you-you knew my men were in your ranks?”
Reader-“of course, you and your lackeys are getting sloppy”
Königs jaw clenches in annoyance
König-“you always had a sharp nose”
Reader-“teeth too”
You flash your fangs with a smile. König stares at them for a second, almost transfixed, intimidated by you
König-“I’ll have to have a word with them after this”
You chuckle
Reader-“good luck, they aren’t very talkative anymore”
This draws a dark, bittersweet smile from könig, he has to give you credit, you’ve kept your humor over all these years
Reader-“you know, if you’re gonna send me food, at least make them taste good”
König let’s put a genuine laugh from that, surprised at how easy you joke about killing and sucking the blood of his hunters
König-“I’ll keep that in mind. Nervensäge”
Reader-“me? A nuisance? Says the one who’s been chasing me for 2 decades”
König stops for a second and sighs
König-“has it really been that long?”
Reader-“it all runs together when you live as long as me”
König-“it feels like just yesterday I was a starry eyed hunter with big ambitions”
You take a step closer
Reader”hm, and literally just yesterday I was drinking your lackeys. They taste of booze and cheap women”
You chuckle
König-“well, they led that type of lifestyle, god knows what they had in them”
König sighs, he was a bit embarrassed that his hunters were such easy prey for you
You take another step closer
Reader-“I don’t mind a bit of spice”
You and him were now standing face to face, only inches apart. Konigs breath got caught in his throat as he looked into your piercing red eyes, sensing the undeniable spark of tension between them
König-“well…perhaps you’d prefer me?”
He asks abruptly, his voice growing much more sensual than before
Reader-“perhaps, I do wonder what you taste like”
You lean in a bit and smirk
König froze in place, his heart pounding. The hunt was over, now all you had to do was claim him. He reminded motionless as he stared at your lips
Reader-“hm, the hunter frozen in fear by his prey. The question is, is fear? Or lust”
You lick his neck and collar bone softly, teasing him, getting a taste. He shudders at the feeling of your tongue on his neck, all he wants is to give in…but part of him still holds out. He puts a hand on your chest and pushes you a bit
Reader-“come on, don’t back out now. I know you want it, I can smell it”
You sniff the air a few times and lick your lips. König tried to stay calm, but you were right, he wanted to touch you, feel your smooth, perfect skin, to let you drink his blood
König-“you’ve always been a master manipulator”
He says, trying to hold what little dignity he has left.
Reader-“we’ve been enemies for so long, why not be lovers, at least for tonight”
König paused, he was lost in thought, the opportunity to be your lover was tempting, too tempting. He took a deep breath and spoke
König-“ok, ok, for tonight”
You smirk, you finally won, now you get exactly what you want.
Reader-“good, just know, it does come with me getting a taste of you, your blood, everything”
König shivers in anticipation, the thought of you drinking his blood made his heart pound. You lean in and kiss him. The second your lips touch his, all his defenses fall, he didn’t care about hunting you anymore, he just wanted you and your lips, and whatever else you can offer. Your bodies press together, your body cool to the touch and his burning hot from arousal, he was utterly intoxicated by your scent and touch. You pull away
Reader-“good boy”
You smirk. König felt so helpless, but he liked how dominant you were, after a life of him being on top, him being the dominant one, he liked this, a lot. You give him another soft kiss before moving down to his neck to kiss it and lick it, preparing it.
Reader-“don’t worry, I won’t take all of it, just enough”
With that you sink your teeth into his neck right there in the street, the only things lighting the two of you being the moon, and both of your burning desires. König let’s out a hiss of pleasure when your teeth puncture his skin. It didn’t hurt, in fact it was…pleasurable, tingling. He trembled with every gulp of blood you took. Another wave of arousal grew in him, his cock hardening in his pants.you reach your hand down between his legs and rub his hard cock through his pants as you growl into his neck while you drain him. Finally, you slowly pull your teeth away, blood dripping from your mouth as you continue to rub his cock.
Reader-“how was it”
You trace the teeth holes with your other hand, still stroking him with your other.
König-“it was good, really good”
He moans and whimpers under your touch, still going crazy from your bite as he bucks into your hand.
Reader-“someone is excited”
You smile as your hand slips into his pants, feeling his pre cum covered, rock solid cock, he’s already on the edge.
Reader-“makes me wonder why you fought for so long”
You whisper and squeeze his balls a little as you stare into his eyes, blood still dripping form your lips
König-“I-i don’t know, I-i never should’ve… Ficken”
He groans as he feels your hands and himself about to explode. When you see that, you sink your teeth into his neck again, with no warning, giving him the best orgasm of his life, hot seed spews out of his cock and onto your hand and the inside of his pants, tears start to fall from his eyes as he’s overwhelmed with emotion. You pull your mouth away from his neck and your hand out of his pants, covered in his hot, sticky seed. You bring it up to your mouth and lick it off your hand, savoring ever drop and making sure könig can see.
Reader-“your cum is almost as good as your blood”
You smile as you see his face, panting, pathetic and contorted from pleasure. You take a little bit of his left over cum onto your fingers and put them in his mouth, making him taste himself, just so he remembers you’re in control. He sucks on your fingers for a second till you pull them out of his mouth.
Reader-“I’ll be back here in a few days, I wouldn’t mind if you were too”
You smile and turn, leaving him to pick up his own pieces. Like that, you were gone.
König-“yeah I-I’ll come back too”
He stutters as he tries to regain composure.
To him, this is the start to the best relationship of his life, and you? Well I guess he’ll have to wait till you come back ;)

Chapter 13: Epilogue
WC: 5937 | AO3 link | Explicit
A soft knock on hollow wood roused Eddie from sleep. It felt strange to wake up normally, not crying out or gasping for air—actually, waking up at all felt a little foreign after weeks of hardly sleeping at all.
“Ed?” Uncle Wayne’s voice carried through the door.
Eddie glanced over his shoulder. Steve hadn’t moved, was hopefully still fast asleep, so he gently extracted himself and pulled on the first shirt within reach. He tiptoed to the door, only opening it enough to look out, and used his body to hide the view of his bed. Wayne was safe, but he and Steve hadn’t even really labeled what they were to each other yet, let alone discussed if they were okay with other people knowing.
Wayne looked down at Eddie's chest, frowning, “‘M sorry to wake you when you’re finally gettin’ some sleep, but the kids‘re here.”
“Like, Max?”
“Like, all of ‘em.”
Oh, what the fuck.
Eddie scrubbed a hand over his face… and then nearly jumped out of his skin when Steve’s voice, mid-yawn and raspy with sleep, came from the bed behind him.
“Ugh, what are they even doing here, do you have Hellfire today or something?”
Wayne lifted a single eyebrow. “Who’s your friend?”
“Uh—”
There was a rustle of fabric as Steve moved around behind him, getting dressed. Well, putting a shirt on anyway—Eddie’s shirt.
Oh.
Eddie looked down and, yup, that was Steve’s polo shirt he had on.
God he was such a dumbass sometimes.
Wayne craned his neck, trying to see over Eddie’s shoulder—and clearly Steve didn't care if the other man saw him or he wouldn’t have spoken up, so Eddie stepped back, letting the door open the rest of the way as Steve slid up beside him. It seemed this meeting was happening right here, right now, whether he liked it or not, so he might as well accept it.
“It’s nice to meet you, sir. I’m Steve, Steve Harrington.” Steve smiled, sticking his hand out for Wayne to shake, which the older man took—as if they weren’t all standing in Eddie’s bedroom doorway at who knew what time in the morning, in their fucking underwear!
But it was fine.
“Good to meet you too, son. I hear you’re one of the people I have to thank for findin’ my boy and gettin’ him to help. Didn’t see you ‘round the hospital, else I would’ve shown you my gratitude sooner.”
Steve's smile faltered—and fell. “No. I, uh—I wasn’t. I’m sorry I wasn’t there, I should have been. I–”
Eddie took his hand, squeezing, and leaned in to press their sides together.
Wayne shook his head. “You don’t have to explain yourself to me, and anyways it looks like whatever it was has worked itself out now. S’long as you boys are bein’ safe, that’s good enough for me.”
“Wayne!” Eddie hissed.
“Go see to your audience. They’re mighty interested in that fancy car out there, which I'm assumin’ belongs to Steve, so….” Wayne glanced between the two of them, chuckling. “Have fun with that.”
For the second time in as many minutes Eddie felt like an idiot. Steve’s car was parked right outside the trailer, hiding him had never been an option. Again, he reminded himself that Steve didn’t seem to mind, had known his car would be out there for all to see in the morning when he decided to stay last night.
“Try and keep it down though, will ya? I’m gonna go catch some sleep before my shift tonight.”
Wayne shuffled away down the hall and back out to the living room where he’d spend the day sleeping on an old rollaway bed. Eddie felt a pang of guilt, like he always did when he thought about all the things Wayne had sacrificed to raise him, up to and including giving him the trailer’s only bedroom. He tried to give it up, on multiple occasions, but Wayne wouldn’t hear it.
“I guess it’s time to face the music about disappearing, and—” Steve glanced down at their clasped hands.
Eddie looked down too, considering. This thing between them, whatever it was, felt so new, and fragile. It was one thing for Wayne to see them together, Eddie was already out to his uncle and accepted by him, and Steve had known that, but the kids? That was different—it was a lot.
“We don’t have to tell anyone anything you're not ready for, Steve. We can always say you came over to hang out and it got late and you slept on the couch. They wouldn't think anything of it.”
“No. I don’t want to hide, not from our friends.” Steve chewed on his bottom lip. “Unless—you don’t want them to know?”
“Sweetheart, I would tell the whole world how I felt about you if it was safe. Of course we can tell the party. I think we can trust them, and technically, all of them but Will and El saw us make out once already, not our fault they don’t remember.”
Steve grinned, and pulled Eddie in for a kiss. It was little more than a peck on the lips, a light little thing in comparison to all they’d done the night before, but it still took Eddie’s breath away.
They pulled apart reluctantly, and set about finding and putting pants on. Eddie wondered if he should offer to switch their shirts back, but he was sort-of loving seeing Steve in his clothes, and as much as the polo was something he’d usually not be caught dead in, it was much softer than it looked, and came with the added perk of smelling like Steve.
“So, um, what is it we’re telling them… exactly?” Eddie asked as he slipped his shoes on. Maybe It was silly to feel so nervous about asking the dreaded ‘what are we’ question after they’d already said I love you, but he couldn’t help it. It was all feeling a little too good to be true.
Steve strode right over, taking Eddie’s face between his hands. “Boyfriends?”
Eddie nodded, sagging in relief as he raised his hands to cover Steve’s where they cradled him.
Steve leaned in the press their lips together one more time, whispering, “even if that word is too… small for what this feels like.”
For a moment Eddie could do nothing but stare in awe at the boy in front of him. He wasn’t used to things working out. He’d never expected to fall this hard for someone, and he’d certainly never dreamed that someone would love him with the same ferocity, but there it was being reflected back to him through Steve’s eyes.
“You’re something else, Harrington. You know that?”
-
Just as Wayne had said, the entire group of kids, minus Erica, were clustered around Steve’s car almost like they were guarding it, or making sure Steve couldn’t take off and drive away without going through them first.
As soon as they set foot outside, Dustin threw himself at Steve, wrapping arms tightly around his middle before suddenly pulling back to punch him in the chest.
Steve rubbed at the spot. “Hey!”
“You ignored me… for weeks! I was worried about you!” Dustin yelled, hitting him again.
“I know!” Steve shouted back, then sighed, deflating. “I know, and I’m sorry. I was going through some stuff, and I got really in my head about it, but I shouldn't have pushed everyone away. That—that wasn’t cool.”
“What happened? And why did Eddie get to see you before I did?”
Eddie stepped in then, he couldn’t let Steve take all the flack when they were at least equally to blame for this whole mess. “Don’t be too hard on him, Henderson. It was my fault. I–”
“No,” Steve cut him off, taking his hand and lacing their fingers together. “Eddie and I had a… misunderstanding, but–uh, we worked it out”
Dustin’s eyes widened, tracking the movement, head tilting as he seemed to really look at them for the first time. “Steve, what are you weari—what the hell is happening right now?”
Eddie didn’t know what he expected, but It wasn’t quite the reaction he’d hoped for. “Look, if this is going to be a problem for you guys, at least—”
“No! God, no." Dustin shook his head, holding his hands up in front of him, placating. "I’m sorry. It’s not—it’s fine!. It’s… pretty awesome, actually.”
Lucas cleared his throat. “We’re just surprised, is all."
“Yeah! Because of Steve’s reputation and everything.” Dustin clarified.
Max snorted. “I’m not.”
Mike, Lucas, And Dustin gaped at her, while El and Will quietly watched from the sidelines.
“What do you mean you're not surprised?!” Lucas snapped.
She rolled her eyes. “Are you morons blind?”
Mike crossed his arms, face pinched as he rounded on Steve. “So what, you just decided to suddenly be gay now? Or were you gay this whole time and just messing with my sister before?”
Eddie had never wanted to snatch that little prick up by the back of his neck more.
“Keep your voice down, Wheeler! Before you out us to the whole damn trailer park!” Eddie hissed quietly, realizing far too late that the front of his trailer probably wasn’t the best place for this conversation, but they were in it now.
In his defense he hadn’t expected any outbursts. Surprise? Maybe… probably, but no outright hostility—though young Wheeler only seemed to be pissed at Steve rather than both of them, so maybe it was more of a personal thing than a gay thing?
“Sorry.” Mike grumbled.
“And no, we’re not ‘suddenly gay’ now, and it’s not something you choose or decide, shithead. It’s more like something you discover about yourself, when you’re ready. Some people figure it out at a young age, like me.” Eddie tried very hard not to let his gaze flit towards Will, who in their limited interactions had started giving off a vibe. Instead he looked at Steve, and smiled warmly. “But, for others it takes a little time.”
“Like me.” Steve said, smiling back at him with a soft look in his eyes. A look that completely dissolved as he turned to Mike, “And I’m bisexual, Michael. So, no, I wasn’t messing with your sister. Liking Eddie now doesn’t mean I didn't like her then. I like boys and girls.”
“Wait, that’s… Is that allowed?”
Oh.
Suddenly the boy’s anger at Steve might make little more sense.
Steve softened. “Yeah, Mike. That’s allowed.”
After a moment of silence Mike bristled, realizing everyone was looking at him now. “Whatever. I’m going back to Max’s.” He kicked rocks, literally, and ran across the way to the Mayfield trailer, sitting down on its steps, sulking.
“Hey Steve, so now that you're talking and leaving the house again, can we have a sleepover?” Dustin asked.
Steve gave him an unimpressed look.“ Shouldn’t you guys be going after him or something?”
Lucas waved a hand. “He’ll get over it.”
Dustin tipped his chin in agreement. “You know how he gets, he’s fine. Now, what do you say?”
“I don’t know guys.” Steve said.
“Pleeeeeease?”
Steve slid his eyes sideways, looking to Eddie for an opinion.
Eddie shrugged. As much as he wanted more alone time with Steve—like, a lot more—he knew he wasn’t the only one who’d been missing him.
“Fine. But you all need to get your own rides, and give me a few hours to get ready. Seven o’clock at the earliest, you hear me? And make sure your parents know where you’re gonna be.”
The kids all lit up, even Max cracked a smile.
“Yes!” Lucas cheered, before turning with Max to go back to her house.
“Thanks, Steve!” Dustin shouted over his shoulder, him and Will joining the retreat, only El lagged behind.
“Everything alright, El?” Steve asked.
“I am really glad you’re feeling better. I wanted to come see you right away but–”
Steve drew in a breath, a horrified look of realization coming over his face. "Oh my god, El, you remember too! I'm such an idiot, I didn't even think!"
Eddie squeezed the hand he was still holding and felt his own heart drop. With everything else it hadn’t occurred to him either.
"It's okay. Robin told me you were sad, too sad to see anyone.” El said.
“I’m so sorry, sweetie, I should have realized—I should have checked on you. Are you okay?”
“I think so. I told my Dad everything. I felt bad… guilty at first. I thought it was all my fault because I was the one who failed to stop Henry so many times. He says it's not, and I am trying to believe him."
"He's right," Eddie said. "None of this was anyone’s fault but Vecna’s. Trust me, I felt the exact same way throughout the loops. I thought, here I was, given chance after chance and I just kept screwing it up. It wasn’t my fault, or yours, or Steve’s. We did the best we could, and yeah, it took a few tries to get it right, but we did. We did it together. El, you were absolutely incredible in there, facing him down on your own. I never would have gotten out if it wasn’t for you. You saved me."
“I think we all saved each other, but I am sorry that I did not remember, that must have been scary by yourself.”
"No. No more apologies. That’s not on you or Steve, and I won't have either of you feeling guilty about it for another second.” Eddie said, his gaze flitting between their faces. “Okay?”
El nodded, offering him a small smile.
Steve sighed. “Okay.”
-
A short while later they were walking into Steve’s house. Eddie had snuck back inside to leave a note for his uncle about where he’d be before they took off in the other boy’s BMW.
“Sorry about the mess,” Steve said as they crossed the threshold into the living room, rubbing a hand nervously at the back of his neck. “I, uh, I didn’t realize how bad it’d gotten.”
Eddie looked around. The air was stale, beer cans strewn around the coffee table, a few left where they’d fallen on the floor, along with several pizza boxes, some dirty clothes, and the couch was piled up with a pillow and blankets in a heap. It was very not like Steve, but it also wasn’t that bad. “You call this a mess? That’s adorable. You’ve seen my place man, c’mon. This is nothing. We can have this picked up in ten minutes—tops.”
“No, this is my problem, and your arm–”
“Is fine.” Eddie insisted. “Why don't you go get us a couple trash bags.”
They worked together, and just as predicted it didn’t take long at all. He gathered up the laundry, tossing it all into the washing machine, while Steve took care of the trash and wiped down the tables, the two of them meeting in the middle to straighten couch cushions and fold blankets.
“Were you sleeping down here?” Eddie asked.
“Tried to. I was struggling, and angry, and I missed you. Thinking about sleeping in that bed alone after all those memories came back just—” Steve shook his head. “Not that down here was any better. I know it was only a short time that you were here with me, really, but it’s like you seeped into the walls.”
When Steve finished with the blanket he was working on, he hugged it to his chest and sat down. “It was one of my happy memories, one of the places I went when I was running from Vecna. Here, on this couch, with you.”
Eddie tilted his head, taking a seat beside him.
“You’d just cooked for us. I was so tired, and you tried to make me go to bed, but I wouldn't listen.”
“And you fell asleep anyway.”
“And you let me sleep on your shoulder for the whole movie. That night—that was when I really started to fall for you, in that loop at least.”
Eddie rested a hand on Steve’s knee. “Me too.”
-
They moved on to the kitchen next, which was in pretty good shape apart from a sink full of dishes, something Eddie couldn’t really help with, so he hopped up onto the counter to supervise and keep Steve company.
Well, he tried to hop up on the counter at least, a task that was made much more difficult with the use of only one hand. After his second failed attempt, Steve gripped him around the waist and lifted him up on his perch before wordlessly getting to work.
Eddie swallowed hard, feeling his cheeks warm. He could get used to being manhandled like that, and judging by Steve’s little smirk, the other boy felt the same way.
It should have been boring sitting there watching as Steve scrubbed plates and glasses, but as corny as it sounded, Eddie was just happy to be around him. Steve kept looking at him too, to the detriment of his task, as he repeatedly sloshed water over himself when he got stuck staring for too long.
The third time it happened Eddie had to laugh. “What? Is it my hair?” He shook his head making his curls bounce around wildly. “Have I been walking around with bedhead all day and you didn’t tell me?”
“No, it’s just— a part of me can’t believe you’re here? I know it was my own doing, but I was going crazy all alone in this big fucking house.”
Eddie rested a hand on his shoulder, just able to reach from his spot.
“I should be used to it by now, the whole being alone thing. I’m sure you’ve noticed that my parents aren’t around much. It’s… not a new thing.”
“I did.” Eddie admitted. “I figured you’d talk about them when you were ready.”
Steve smiled sadly, returning his attention to the sink as he went on. “I was eight the first time they left me alone for the weekend. I was terrified, slept with all the lights on, thought every bump in the night was a robber breaking in. The older I got the longer they would stay away. They’d swoop in every now and then, just long enough to make sure I knew how disappointed they were that I wasn’t living up to their expectations. When my dad found out I wasn’t going to college they stopped coming home altogether.”
“What about graduation?”
“They stopped by, about a week after the ceremony, to yell at me for not having a job yet, even though I’d already told them I had the interview at Scoops. That’s the last time I spoke to them in person.”
“Wait, they didn’t come home when you got hurt at the mall? I know they would have thought it was just a fire but, didn’t the hospital call them?”
Steve tensed, and very deliberately did not look at him.
Eddie sighed. “You didn’t go to the hospital, did you?”
“Didn’t need to.”
“Baby, you were drugged and tortured.”
“That’s actually part of why I didn’t go. Didn’t think I could handle facing another guy in a white coat.”
It was hard to argue with that, and of course it was in the past now, but that didn’t stop Eddie from wanting to. “So you were just here alone after all that?”
“No, um, Robin–” Steve broke off with a breathy laugh. “Ok, this is going to sound fucked up but that was another one of my happy memories, actually. Robin, she snuck out of her house and into mine that night. She didn’t need to sneak, of course, it’s not like anyone else was here, but she didn’t know that at the time. It was crazy, this girl who barely tolerated me before everything went down—suddenly, here she was, climbing through my bedroom window, insisting on taking care of me.” He shook his head. “I don’t think I could live without her now.”
“Pretty sure she feels the same way about you, sweetheart. So it’s been almost a year since you’ve seen your parents?”
“Yeah, they bought a place in Chicago when my dad was offered a new position in his company there. Said I could stay here until they sell the place, as long as I had a job and kept it clean.”
“I’m sorry.”
Steve gave half a shrug. “It’s—I don’t need or want them in my life anymore. If anything I'm grateful it’s allowed me to still be here for the kids through all this shit without having to deal with them.”
“Still, you deserved better.”
Steve shut the faucet off, drying his hands before wedging himself between Eddie's legs where they hung off the counter, throwing arms around his waist. “Thank you.”
Eddie yelped at the contact, the front of Steve’s shirt was cold, and wet, and it was seeping into Eddie’s clothes now too, but he only held Steve tighter, and didn’t let go.
“I think we’re both going to need some dry clothes after this.” Eddie said.
Steve nuzzled into his chest. “How about a shower first?”
-
This wasn’t exactly how he had pictured it when Steve suggested they take a shower together. Not that Eddie would have turned the opportunity down, under any circumstances, but the plastic bag tied and taped around his casted arm, while necessary, was decidedly unsexy.
He looked ridiculous.
However, Steve didn’t seem to agree, if the hungry looks he was throwing Eddie’s way as they undressed were any indication.
Though Eddie was more than capable of washing his own hair one handed, had been doing so since the hospital, Steve insisted on taking charge from the moment they stepped under the spray together, working shampoo into his scalp until it formed a lather, letting it run through the end of his curls as it rinsed out.
Eddie was in heaven, the feel of Steve's fingers combing conditioner through his hair was unlike anything else, and the occasional tug when he got caught up on a knot had a warmth blossoming low in his belly, and something else growing between his legs.
He tried to hold it in but a quiet moan slipped past his lips as Steve coaxed his head back, rinsing it again, and it was all Eddie could do not to palm himself.
Suddenly Steve’s broad chest was pressed up against his back, mouth hovering just behind his ear. “Don’t hold back on my account.”
Eddie shivered, trying to press his ass back to feel if Steve was as affected as he was, but the other boy was keeping his hips a polite distance away.
Tease.
Next, Steve took up a bar of soap and a washcloth, and began to painstakingly wash him from head to toe, reaching around to get Eddie’s front and finally pressing his own hard length against the swell of his ass.
Eddie moaned again, long and loud this time so Steve would know exactly what he was doing to him.
It was as close to being worshiped as he could imagine, and he’d never felt so cared for and so fucking turned on in his life, convinced that if anything more than water touched his cock right now, he’d be painting the shower wall in seconds with his release.
Thankfully Eddie got a short reprieve as Steve stepped back to turn the soap on himself, and he took several deep breaths, purposely not turning around to watch the show that was happening right behind him. He thought he knew where this was going, and he didn’t want their fun to be so short lived because he couldn’t get himself under control.
But then Steve was done, and in the blink of an eye he spun Eddie around, pinned him against the wall, and dropped to his fucking knees, and Eddie knew he was screwed. He would never last, but the exquisite image before him certainly would—seared into his brain forever.
He wasn’t too far gone to check in though, to make sure Steve wasn’t pushing past his comfort zone. “You don’t have to.”
Steve licked his lips, glancing up at him through his eyelashes. “I want to.”
Jesus Christ
“Are you sure?” Eddie reached down to cup Steve’s cheek, running a thumb over his bottom lip. Steve’s eyes fell shut, the tip of his tongue darting out to lick at it like a reflex.
“Fuck.” Eddie breathed.
“Please?” Steve begged, letting his mouth fall wide open. He knew exactly what he was doing and any lingering worries Eddie had completely fell away.
“Since you asked so nicely.”
Eddie caressed Steve’s face one last time before letting it go, taking himself in hand, and began to feed his cock inch by inch between Steve’s lips.
-
Predictably, Eddie had come embarrassingly fast, but so had Steve once they switched places, and after a final rinse off they both collapsed, naked and partially damp onto Steve's bed.
“We can’t fall asleep. The kids–” Steve mumbled.
“They won’t be here for at least another hour. I won’t let us fall asleep, I promise. I just want to hold you for a while.” Eddie said, throwing an arm over Steve, pulling him in close.
“This was one of my happy memories. Laying in here with you.”
Steve turned in his arms to face him, running fingers through his sodden curls.
“The last night before we went after Vecna, when everyone fell asleep in the living room but you and I snuck up here.” Eddie tucked himself under Steve’s chin, hiding his face. “Did you…”
“Did I, what?”
“Did you kiss me that night? On the top of the head?”
Steve groaned like he was embarrassed. “I thought you were asleep!”
Eddie chuckled. “Almost. I was never sure it wasn’t just a dream.” His lips dragged against the skin of Steve's neck as he spoke, and he was just starting to suck a bruise into the side of his throat when the doorbell rang.
Steve groaned.
“They’re early,” Eddie grumbled as they both untangled themselves and got up.
Steve went right for the dresser to pull clothes out for them, and Eddie couldn’t help but notice a certain t-shirt in the other boy’s hand.
“Mine.”  He snatched it up greedily. “But I’m not putting it on yet, my hair is still too wet.”
“As long as you put pants on. I don’t think we need to scar them like that—although maybe it’ll make them think twice before showing up early next time.”
“That’s an idea.”
In the end, Eddie did slide a pair of sweatpants on, for his own modesty, and followed Steve down the stairs to answer the door, a towel slung over his shoulders to catch any drips.
Steve grasped the handle, raising his voice as he threw the front door open. “I thought I said seven o’clock you—” And clicked his mouth shut abruptly when he came face-to-face, not with Dustin, Max, or any of the others, but Robin and Chrissy standing on his doorstep.
Robin crossed her arms over her chest, eyes narrowed as she took them in. “Dustin called me.”
Steve grit his teeth. “Oh that little–
She shrugged. “Scoops troop for life.”
“Wait, did he tell you about us?” Eddie asked.
“No, just about the sleepover. I–” Robin glanced over her shoulder at Chrissy. “We—assumed the other thing when he said where and when they’d run into the two of you.”
Eddie scoffed.
Run into them, as if the gremlins hadn’t been lying in wait, ready to pounce.
Chrissy nodded. “Oh, and fair warning I'm pretty sure the kids also told Nancy and Jonathan about your little shindig too.”
“Great.”
Eddie wound his arm around Steve’s lower back, rubbing his thumb back and forth along his side. “Hey, like I said this morning. No one has to know that you’re not ready to tell. I can keep my hands to myself while they’re around, and we can make sure the kids don’t—”
“And like I said,” Steve gently cut him off, leaning into him. “I don't want to hide, and maybe I don’t want you to keep your hands to yourself.”
“Ugh,” Robin groaned. “You guys are gonna be gross about this aren’t you?”
“Don’t be homophobic, Buckley.”
“At least put a shirt on.” Robin rolled her eyes, shoulder checking him on her way by as she and Chrissy finally came inside.
“Fine.” Eddie whined, giving Steve’s side one last squeeze before he yanked the towel off and rubbed at his head. In a huff he headed for the bedroom, and Steve’s swim team shirt. At least time he could actually enjoy wearing the Harrington name like a brand across his back.
“I’m really happy for you guys. It’s good to see you like this.”
He heard Robin say to Steve as he climbed the stairs, while the rest of them headed to the living room.
“What, vertical?” Steve asked, a hint of laughter in his voice.
“No, smiling.”
-
The sleepover turned out to be exactly what everyone needed. They had won the war, and now, finally, their little group was complete again.
Nancy and Jonathan did eventually show, and stayed for quite a while, though they didn’t sleep over—they also seemed very unsurprised when he and Steve told them about their relationship.
Was it possible he and Steve were not as subtle as they thought?
Even Hopper and Joyce paid a visit on their way to dinner, taking advantage of their most trusted babysitters to have a night out for themselves. Steve was the one to share their news that time, again to less than surprised faces.
Joyce got teary eyed, hugged them both, said how happy she was for them, and how it didn’t change anything. Eddie just hoped Will had been in earshot, so he’d know he had a mom who was ready to accept him whenever he was ready to accept himself.
Hopper was pretty quiet about the whole thing, but made a point to hug Steve and shake Eddie’s hand before they left, which was a shock all on its own, and probably the closest thing Eddie was going to get to a stamp of approval.
He’d take it.
-
Later that night, or early the next morning depending on how you looked at it, considering it was nearing 2am by the time everyone else fell asleep and Steve and Eddie had snuck away, they were finally back in bed, as wrapped up in each other as they could be.
“So, what do we do now?” Steve asked softly.
Eddie kissed the corner of his mouth, and reached down to knead his ass. “I didn’t think you’d want to fool around with everyone else right downstairs, but if you insist—”
“No,” Steve huffed a laugh, wriggling around till Eddie moved his hand. “I mean, you’re graduating soon, right? And I guess I’m wondering what your plan is, what’s next for you.”
“Stevie, I’m just starting to accept the fact that we’ve survived this insanity, I have no plans. I guess I’d like to get a job? Sort of over being the town drug dealer after all this, y’know?” Eddie reached up to tuck a stray piece of hair behind Steve’s ear. “What about you, big boy? What do you want now that the Upside Down is gone for good?”
He couldn’t help recalling how Steve’s last answer to a very similar question had been to make it to 21, and hoped that had changed now.
“I don’t know. Robin will be heading off to college in the fall. I thought once about following her, but I was too worried about being that far away if something happened. I never thought we’d be in the clear like this.”
“Where’s she going?”
“Indianapolis.” Steve heaved a heavy sigh, as though the nearby city was on another planet.
“That’s only like an hour away!”
“But, what about the kids?”
“You know they’re not really kids, right? And they have parents.” Eddie propped himself up on his elbow to look the other boy more solidly in the eye. “Vecna is gone, for good this time. They’re safe. Besides, the little shits will be driving before you know it, and until then you can visit whenever you want.”
Steve looked down, fingers playing along the sheet. “You trying to talk me into moving away, Munson?”
“If that’s what you want.”
“What about you—us?”
“I could always come with you… if you’d want that.”
Steve’s eyes snapped back to his. A little wider than they were before. “B-but what about Wayne?”
“I’m almost twenty years old, I think it’s time for Wayne to have his bedroom back, and me moving out is probably the only thing that’ll make him accept it.”
“Isn’t it a little soon for us to be talking about living together?”
“Maybe—probably,” Eddie grinned, letting out a long breath. “But, we’ve established that we’re both crazy, right? And we have time, it’s not like it would be happening tomorrow.”
“Seriously though, you would do that?”
Eddie reached for him, and they shuffled around until they were wrapped up closely together again. “In a heartbeat. As long as you want me around, I'll be here. So yeah, I’m all in.”
-
Six months later found them, and all the belongings they could fit in the back of Eddie’s van, flying down the highway towards their new place—a two bedroom apartment in Indianapolis they’d be sharing with Chrissy and Robin while the girls went to school.
The two friends had finally managed to get their own shit together after that first post-Vecna sleepover. Bolstered by how open Eddie and Steve were and how accepting the group had been of them, the very next morning Chrissy finally worked up the courage to make a move—to Robin’s immense relief.
Then Chrissy received an acceptance letter from the same school Robin was attending, and all the pieces just sort of fell into place.
Steve sold the BMW. They wouldn’t need two cars in the city, and it was worth more used than Eddie’s van would have gotten brand new. Indy wasn’t like Hawkins, there’d be plenty of public transportation, and the money he made would be more than enough for the two of them to live on until they found jobs.
“Are you sure this is okay? That we’re not moving too fast doing this?” Steve asked from the passenger seat, as they took the final exit that would lead them to their future.
It wasn’t the first time Steve had said those same words over the last few weeks. He’d also asked the day they put their deposit down, the day they told Wayne they were leaving, and the night they started packing. Steve seemed to think Eddie was going to suddenly change his mind or something, as if he was less than absolutely head over heels in love.
“You say that like we haven't spent every waking moment together since we got together. How many times do I have to tell you I'm all in on this, on you, before you believe me?”
“Sorry.” Steve sunk down in his seat, cheeks going a little pink.
Eddie held his hand out over the center console, whining and wiggling his fingers until Steve finally cracked a smile and took it, lacing their fingers together.
“Do you think we’ll be happy here? That it’ll feel like home someday?” Steve asked.
“I think wherever we are will always feel like home, as long as we’re there together.”

You know what would be kind of nice? Is if nothing dramatic happens to Kim- she doesn’t die off in some tragic way or something like that, but instead her and Eddie finish a date and she just tells him that while it was fun, she didn’t feel anything click for them, and encourages him to go home to his son. Maybe they run into Buck and Christopher in public by accident and she realizes he already has a family and breaks it off. Something like that.
I just need Eddie to not have his delusion-driven feelings reciprocated and/or for him to realize that beyond resemblance to Shannon, this woman is actually incompatible with him and if he tries to keep pursuing this he’ll find himself in another “I think I’m just going to try and stick it out” situation. I need this desperate grasp for a ghost to be just that- desperate, and quietly, achingly unsuccessful. In short, I need them to not work in completely mundane, simple ways.
It’s not necessary for Kim to get ripped from his life in yet another tragedy- she can just make her soft exit and when she leaves she closes that door behind her for good. There’s no car accident or fire to blame it on, no way to twist the narrative, it’s just between them as people. She isn’t who he really needs, and he isn’t for her either.
It can happen simply and still cause that spiral and devastation for him. Because Eddie’s chasing a woman that doesn’t exist, he’s going to see she doesn’t exist in Kim, and that revelation is going to rock his world no matter what. It’s one final thing he has to do, and then he’ll be free of the past. And that freedom is going to terrify him.

Hi!!! I really like your headcanons and I would’ve liked if your wrote some headcanons for Brahms Heelshire, Thomas Hewitt and Yautja (male if possible) with a muscular female reader. A muscle mommy if you will.
Pretty please :3
Hi! I’m so glad you like my headcanons that’s so lovely to hear < 3 I had such a good time writing this omg! I’m gonna write a fem yautja aswell for my little lesbian self !
How would the slashers react to a Muscle mommy!Reader? (NSFW)
Tumblr media
Requests are open!
Brahms Heelshire
Brahms loves your muscles, he thinks you’re the most attractive person on this earth anyway but the muscles are an added bonus. He always feels so safe wrapped in your big arms when he’s having a bad day, it makes him feel grounded and protected.
He absolutely loves being put in his place, Brahms can be pretty stubborn at the best of times. Refusing to go to his lessons or take a bath? Up you go! Feel free to give his ass a slap if he kicks. He’ll yell and play up but he loves it, being manhandled over your shoulder like an object. Just ignore the boner pressing into you that he totally doesn’t have and is very angry about.
Demands to add your workout to his schedule. Brahms absolutely sits at the table with a little cup of tea and enjoys the show. The way the sweat drips down your arms is absolutely sinful and he loves every moment.
He absolutely hides behind you if you see a mouse or rat scuttle along the floor of the old mansion. Will your muscles realistically help against a mouse? Probably not. Is the mouse actually going to hurt a fully grown man? No. Does Brahms give a shit? No to both.
Thomas Hewitt
Tommy is a big guy himself, especially in the arm department, so he can appreciate how much work and time goes into your muscles. He defiantly has some weights and gym equipment in the basement for when it’s too hot to work out outside or you don’t feel like leaving the house. It’s a lot darker and cooler down there so you don’t have to worry about passing out from the heat or getting sunburnt.
Tommy will make himself ‘Busy’ in the basement when you’re working out. In reality he’s just moving things around pointlessly in an attempt to look like he’s not ogling you from across the room. If you tease him about it his ears will go a cute shade of pink. Let him know he’s allowed to just watch, he doesn’t need an excuse, hell, give him a little show whilst you’re at it.
Arm wrestling is a family event, and by that I mean you and Tommy wrestle and Hoyt yells from the sidelines. It’s nice for Tommy to have someone to roughhouse with without worrying about snapping their arm like a twig. It’s all fun and games so it’s not about who’s winning. Who’s counting anyway? (You’re totally winning)
If you want to fluster him easily then flex for him, pop him a flex whilst you’re helping move barn equipment, he eats it up every time. If you’re sweaty from the heavy lifting too? Even better
Hoyt has less chance of messing with or insulting you if you’re ripped. knowing that he’s an older man and that you could crush him like a tin can saves you from his scrutiny most of the time. Not that you think you would get to kick his ass before Tommy jumped in, but the idea is nice.
Male Yautja
Your partner is used to seeing female yautja bigger and stronger than himself but seeing it on you is so…different and exciting. He’s fascinated by the way the hard muscle sits on your human frame. He’d be lying if he said your strength didn’t lure him in.
He’s super proud of you, shows you off as his mate at any given chance, excitedly talking about how committed to training you are and how you’re perfectly made for hunting. His human is so little but so strong!!
Your mate loves to gift you jewellery and clothing, especially ones that accentuate your arms and midriff, totally not for his own prying eyes or anything. Bone accessories hang around your biceps, hand tied by your mate. He won’t be offended if you gain more muscle and he needs to alter his jewellery, infact he’d be delighted.
You’re not as strong as him considering he’s a massive reptile-esque alien who could crush you like a bug but you’re strong enough for him to not be as worried about hurting you as he would a normal human. You can play rough and dish it out at the same time. Sometimes he lets you win but he won’t tell you that.
Play fighting is always exiting, one minute you’re cuddling in your nest and the next you have him in a headlock, it’s a dirty move but it’s so worth it to see his mandibles flair as he flails in surprise. He’d be lying if he said he didn’t find it a little hot too.
Female Yautja
Female Yautja are known for their strength and stature so having someone who stands on even ground (or as even as it can be with your mates strength) is impressive and new to her.
Dressing you up is a favourite pass time of hers, draping you in the finest silky materials from all over the planets and bone jewellery, hand crafted and hunted personally. Your mate is gratuitous in using semi-transparent fabrics for your outfits, giving herself ample opportunity to see slithers of taught muscles as you go about day to day.
Mating is always intense to say the least, usually females will wrestle the males for dominance during intercourse and well, you pack some weight behind you. Both of you are well defined in the muscle area and neither of you like to loose. Luckily you both have pretty good stamina so you’re not exhausted before you actually get to the deed. Sometimes you manage to pin her and the look on her face is gorgeous, fucked out flustered, she might even tilt her head in submission and give you access to her neck if you’re lucky.

Chat I just had the best conversation with my band teacher ever, so for context a few months ago she noticed my MCR shirt and mentioned she had seen them live once. ("It was pretty wild but really fun" -her) So basically I asked her when she saw them and basically the conversation went like this- "oh ya it was like 2004, just when they were getting popular. I actually had a boyfriend at the time who got kicked out and arrested for crowd surfing." -her "lol nice, but was there a certain guitarist who was super energetic and breaking things , spitting etc?" -me "oh yeah, I love that guy, what's his name again?" -her "Frank Iero, he's my favorite." -me "yeah okay, he's my favorite too." -her

Hello! Do you have any fun headcanons to share about Idia? Honestly, I just find it painful to see how badly this guy gets butchered in headcanons sometimes. People always forget that he is in fact a complete ass with a massive superiority-inferiority complex and not just a sad boi, or they overplay the weeb part and ignore how he has other interests like science and art, or they make him too pathetic by assuming he would still be a blushing incoherent mess like a year into marriage, etc. Anyway, it’d just be nice to hear the headcanons of an actual Idia fan since that’s the only way to get anything sane.
Omg totally, first I'mma do a little rant, I'll make sure to label where the HCS begin so y'all don't have to read my rants 😭

Okay we gotta acknowledge the fact idia is indeed, an asshole you guys. 💀Well not completely obviously but he's not just gonna be nice to you for no reason. He's not just some depressed dude needing sympathy.
The way Idia is so Infantilzed by the fandom it's actually gets me tweakin, You guys this actually makes me mad, he's not some sensitive bottom uwu boy that stutters 50 times every sentence In fact I honestly cannot see him being submissive half of the time, this man is actually a asshole on the low. Most people get the fact that idia would be submissive from his shy and closed off personality which is just SO wrong to me.
Idia is extremely pessimistic and if we're being real Idia is actually not a good narrator for his own experiences, the constant self deprecation mixed in with his his thoughts about being superior to others is so fascinating to me, one moment he sees himself as nothing but a piece of trash while in the next moment he's boasting about how he's the only one component enough to be ignihyde's dorm leader. He's such a complex character I can Yap about him constantly
I get making jokes and stuff but some people genuinely think idia is some stinky incel creep that hates women and just purposely chooses to not go outside and be chronically online. Like yeah, he has nerdy and loser like hobbies but this man literally has trauma and chronic depression, along with an anxiety disorder, it's not something he can just make disappear. He likes science, engineering, art, anime, games etc which is all just cool, it's not like he's some creep that's afraid to talk to people, nor is he some super submissive guy that'll fold for you in a tiny interaction.
Had to get ts off my chest 💀

🎧 Caramelldansen. Idia adores this song unironically. At first he had just saw the meme and quickly ended up falling into the whole thing, laying on the floor completely dazed out of his mind as the colorful lights flash in the background from the music video playing on repeat lol
🎮 I said this in my earlier post but Idia definitely draws his crushes all the time. Luckily he has a little self control and draws anime/manga characters in most of the pages, he's really protective over his sketch book due to 1.) His social anxiety and 2.) The fact that he doesn't want anyone to know that he likes drawing and observing people, especially his crushes.
🎧 Idia constantly has his headphones on, I know of a fact that Idia listens to Nightcore, anime OSTs, Vocaloid, animation meme music, Vkei, video game sound tracks and breakcore religiously. I think idia would honestly listen to everything he can get his hands on
🎮 I feel like he had a 2020 alt kid phase lol. I feel like quarantine would've been his time to thrive, his peak enjoyment of life would be set during this time lol. Being able to express himself like he wanted without others seeing??? Sign him up
🎧 Ironically, he's not super weak. I feel like he just sucks at physical activity, especially running since he doesn't leave his room much. His hands/fist are definitely strong, I feel like he has a strong hit.
🎮 That being said, I think Idia’s hands are large, thin and boney. They definitely have a few scars and calluses from all the machinery he works with, you can't tell me that his hands aren't pretty rough.
🎧 Idia is a fashion icon, in games. Not irl, he would never due to the attention it would grab him, though he definitely is into all of the alternative and Gothic fashion stuff. He'll give his characters the most perfect and pretty outfits and make sure everything is customized perfectly, not mind at all if it takes him hours to do so.
🎮 This man definitely collects figures. I feel like they're all anime and video game figures; he's even commission artist and such to make custom work of his favorite interest and brag online about it.
🎧 Has an habit of repeating words and phrases he likes over and over again. It doesn't matter if it's from an obscure meme that literally only 5 people including him know or if it's in a different language, he'll constantly reference and repeat it like no tomorrow.
🎮 He's a biter. He bites a lot of things randomly, he'd bite someone out of love if he got the chance. I'm telling you he'll just naw on random stuff, not caring if it's edible or not. It could literally be a plushy and he'll randomly bite it while he's hugging it.
🎧 Idia definitely finds confort in the rain and gloom weather. Really, he just enjoys typically gloomy things. It's extremely comforting and relaxing to him to just be able to sit on his bed with his headphones on while it rains harshly outside, making the world around him dark and gloomy.
🎮 Curses, like a lot. Gamer rage is real you guys and he definitely has it. If he loses a game too many times or gets too frustrated with his teammates, he'll curse like a sailor. His anger isn't directly to his teammates or anything, it's of him being frustrated with everything in general.

Hello! I've been reading a lot of your content lately and love your writing so much! I was wondering if I could request a little fic about Dogma x a very outgoing, naturally confident social butterfly kind of reader who works on base and a lot of clones seem really into them, but they only ever flirt with him or try to ask him out. And their admirers can't figure out why Dogma of all people but the reader has no kriffs to give and just keeps giving him all their romantic attention until he gets it. Thanks in advance!
Two Souls Intertwined
Summary: You’ve made your choice, you just have to convince Dogma that you mean it.
Pairing: Clone Trooper Dogma x GN!Reader
Word Count: 886
Warnings: None
Tagging: @trixie2023 @n0vqni @imabeautifulbutterfly
A/N: Hihi! Thank you for your request! I'm always happy to write for Dogma, so I hope you like this!
Tumblr media
“Let me see if I understand you correctly,” You don’t look up from the game you’re playing on your comm as your coworker, and sometimes friend, drops into the seat across from you. “You’re surrounded by attractive men. At all times. And you want Dogma?”
You glance up at the way she says Dogma’s name, “What’s wrong with Dogma?” You ask, offended on his behalf.
“Well...he’s just...he’s not much fun, is he?”
“He doesn’t have to be fun, I like him anyway.”
“Just…” She shakes her head, “I know that so many of the men have a thing for you. And you’re, like, scraping the bottom of the barrel.”
You scowl at her, “I’ve made my choice, and, just for your comments, I’m going to go flirt with him even harder.”
She chokes on her caf, “I...what?”
You throw a cocky grin at her, and push to your feet, downing your caf in one long gulp, before you head out of the break room.
At this time of day, Dogma is probably outside. He likes to take what free time he’s allowed to read something. For a moment, just a moment, you feel bad about interrupting his free time, though you push the guilt aside with ease.
It’s not like he’s ever said, “Leave me alone,” after all.
You head through the halls, and open the door that leads to the courtyard in the middle of the base.
Why this base has a courtyard is beyond you, but you’re glad it does. It offers a nice change of pace from the sterile white and gray halls of the base.
And there he is, sitting under a tree with a datapad in his hands.
A bright smile crosses your face and you dutifully ignore the way that your heart skips when you see him.
You’re well and truly in love with him.
Dogma doesn’t say anything as you walk over to him, and he says nothing as you settle onto the ground next to him. Though he does glance at you when you shift so that your back is pressed against his arm and your head is tilted back to rest on his shoulder.
“Back again?” He sounds more amused than anything.
“Always.” You counter cheerfully.
“You are determined, aren’t you?”
You tilt your head back so you’re able to grin at him.
Dogma’s smile is tiny, but it is there, “Alright. Lay it on me.”
“What?”
“Today’s pick up line.”
You press a hand to your chest, a look of mock offense crossing your face, “I would never-”
“Ah, so I’ve been imagining all of those other pick-up lines, then?” Dogma asks with an arched brow, and you laugh and shift so you’re sitting next to him properly, “You know, my brothers are convinced that you’re using those just to get a reaction out of me.”
You roll your eyes, “They’re just jealous that I only have eyes for you.”
“Or they don’t believe it.” Dogma points out, “I’m sure that there are people who are more similar to you in personality than me.”
“Eh, maybe. But I’m not interested in them, I’m interested in you.” You reply.
Dogma sighs and rubs his hand over his face, “You...someday I’m going to actually believe you when you say stuff like that, and then what are you going to do?”
“Plan our date. Well, schedule our date. I already have our first date planned. We’ll get dinner and go for a walk, and then I’ll kiss you on the way home.” You nod once, “It’ll be perfect.”
He blinks at you, surprised.
You flash a crooked smile, “What? Is it really so hard to believe that I only have eyes for you?”
“Yeah, a little bit.”
“Hm, well then.” You muse thoughtfully, “How about this then? I’m in love with you.”
Dogma jolts in surprise, and you smile at him.
“I’m in love with you, and if you’re really not interested then let me know and I’ll leave you alone. But. Until that happens, I’m going to keep pursuing you.”
“...you’re in love with me?” He asks slowly.
“Yes.”
“Why?”
“Do I need a reason? I like you. You make me feel safe when I’m around you. You don’t judge me for being me.” Your grin widens, “I love you.”
Dogma releases a strangled noise and lifts his datapad to hide his face, “You’re impossible.” he complains, though he drops the datapad and flashes a small smile, “I’d like that date, actually.”
“...really?”
“Really.”
You laugh and fling your arms around him, knocking you both over, “Thank you! It’ll be the best date! You’ll see!”
Dogma just laughs and folds his arms around you, “I’m looking forward to it.” He replies, a warm smile on his face, “But I need you to get off of me.”
“Oh, right. Sorry.” You scramble off of him and settle on the grass next to him as he sits back up. “What are you reading, anyway?”
“Want me to read to you?”
“Will you?”
“Yeah,” He flips back to the start of the book, “Get comfortable.”
You shift and drop your head to his shoulder, and as soon as you’re settled, he started reading.
And this, really, is all you ever wanted. Who cares if no one else understands. You certainly don’t.

Hi! Big fan of your work and writing blog :) I have a question re: fanfic reception. I like writing fanfics about villains on the receiving end of noncon, and I sometimes get feedback that makes me feel weird and I dunno how to respond to it? It’s along the lines of "thanks for giving [character] the pain they deserve" "it’s good that you aren’t nice to [character] like those other fanfic writers". (Part 1…)
(Part 2…)I kind of feel like they’re complimenting my morals instead of my writing, but I also could be overreacting, because I mean it’s fine to seek out fics where a character you hate gets tortured? No hurry answering this, and thanks in advance if you do. I hope you’re doing alright on your break from UtB. I am using the time to reread and am loving it!
~
Hi anon!
Oh this is an interesting quandary to be in, because I'm certain at least some of those people are very much being moralistic about it.
Tbh when it's 'thanks for giving (character) the pain they deserve' you can probably ignore that if you want, because yeah, they might have revenge fantasies and find that very satisfying.
But when you get people going 'thanks for being mean / not nice to this character like other writers' - if you're the kind of person who responds to comments and feels uncomfortable when someone is using your space to shame other authors (because that's exactly what's happening) you can choose - if you want - to take the time to say 'I have no problems when people enjoy this character being hurt, however, I do not tolerate when folks shame other authors and readers for what they enjoy in fiction. Please don't compliment my fic by putting down other people, that's not what a compliment is' or something similar.
As soon as a reader brings in other people and shames them, that's absolutely when you can take a stand and see a clear issue.
I see this a lot for two different things:
Writing realistic kink, and so many readers being like 'omg thanks for writing realistic kink there's so much unrealistic trash on here' and these days I always make a point of saying 'oh thanks! but I write and love unrealistic trash too. This is a fictional site and no one should be expected to write realistic kink here!' It shuts people down amazingly fast. But also makes them realise that perhaps they just shouldn't be throwing stones when we're all in a very glass castle on AO3 lmao
Writing realistic trauma recovery, so like 'thanks for showing how awful and evil rape can be unlike those people who write it for fun' - now how I end up with these readers with my actual writing history, I don't know, but I take the same approach of like 'thanks BUT I LOVE writing rape as titillation! I enjoy both!'
You don't have to be as blunt as me, and you don't have to address it at all, but any reader who shames other authors or readers in your comment section can be addressed directly because it's just a shitty thing to do. And people don't say shit like that in public if they don't secretly hope that one of those people will see the comment and feel bad about what they like.
So yeah, with your first example, they could be feeling moralistic, or they could just want a revenge fantasy and really enjoy noncon! The second example is a clear cut example of shaming, or stepping on other people to pass you a compliment, and you're never ever over-reacting when that makes you feel uncomfortable, or makes you feel like it's not really a compliment. Because all it really is, is a version of: 'you passed my moral standards, thanks' and that's not actually a compliment at all. (Or like you say, it's complimenting your morals, it's like having a weird fandom policeman come by and glare at you and be like '....okay you're committing no crimes, as you were' and moving on. It's just weird).
Anyway *shakes hands for weird comments that shame other readers/authors in the form of a compliment* - I do think you're right to feel uncomfortable at least sometimes when this happens. It's up to you how you choose to address or not address it, but I will say personally that if you aren't going to address it in comments, maaaaybe consider deleting the ones that shame other readers/authors, so that when those people read your fics they don't feel alienated. It's obviously your choice! But just something to consider if you want to be curating your space. And best of luck writing all the noncon-villain fics! They can be a lot of fun :D

Too Hot To Handle
Tumblr media
HWANG HYUNJIN PART I
word count: 5.2k
---
YOU: To be honest, I don't know why I signed up for this show. I think I just did it for a good bit of fun; sex and a vacation? I think so!
-
You were the first to arrive at the villa and it seemed so surreal that you had actually decided to come onto 'Paradise Island' because never in a million years would you have thought you would be here. You walked through the gates to enter and realised you were the first to arrive and to be honest, you weren't complaining. More champagne for you.
"Oh my god! It's so nice here," you say to yourself, picking up a bottle and pouring yourself a glass.
While you're looking around at the place where you'll be staying for the next few weeks you see someone walking over from the corner of your eye. An extremely handsome, tall, blonde man at that.
"Hi there," he says, a strong British accent accompanying his words.
"hi, I'm y/n," you say.
"Harry."
-
YOU: I'm fucked already and I've only met one guy [chuckles]
-
After the introduction to everybody else and dishing out five bottles of champagne whilst doing so, everyone is allowed to roam free and look around, get to know each other and have fun.
Of course, you being you, head over to the sun loungers where you lay back and take in the sun that beams down on your body.
"Do you mind if I sit with you?" A voice says, startling you a little.
"Oh, yeah, of course, sorry," you rush.
"Oh, no, it's alright, I was the one who scared you," he laughs.
It's only then when you actually look at the man before you, his slender build shocking you a little. He is nowhere near the size of the muscular men in the retreat but holy shit, he was hot. His dark hair fell over his eyebrows and hung slightly in front of his eyes in such a way that made you want to fall to your knees there and then. he was absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous, nothing more, nothing less.
"I'm Hyunjin, nice to meet you."
He snaps you out of your trance. "Oh, I'm y/n, nice to meet you too."
"Can I just say how beautiful you are/" He says, making your cheeks flush pink.
"Oh, thank you," you smile. "You aren't too bad yourself."
-
YOU: Hyunjin is so fucking hot! [internally screams]. I just want to lick his entire body which I know sounds strange but he's just so... so... lickable.
-
"So what do you do? Outside of here?" He asks, taking a sip of his drink.
"Well I'm actually a choreographer for this trainee girl band for YG Entertainment, they aren't too bad actually," you explain. "What about you?"
"Well, at the moment I'm doing a few things at once. I'm trying out music production for the first time but I've got a part time job at a bar just for the time being in case I realise that I'm not cut out for being a producer."
You stare at him as he talks about his work. How can somebody look so good at all times, even when he's talking normally he looks so Godly, how does he manage?
"Well," you being, realising he was done talking. "I think that if you want to give it a shot, you should. you never know if you're gonna like it or not. And hey, some people really love working in bars so you never know, you might find that producing isn't your thing but pouring shots might."
What the fuck. Why did you just say that????? You were beyond embarrassed after blurting out the words, but surprisingly, he laughed.
"You never know," he grinned. "Maybe you'll be my interest instead."
"I already am."
-
HYUNJIN: This girl is going to be the death of me. I don't understand how she can be so fucking beautiful and oh my God her tits are amazing. I could just stare at her all day and never get bored. Her voice is like music to my ears, actually, I think I'll like producing after all.
-
Unfortunately, you and Hyunjin had to cut your conversation short because you were interrupted by two more contestants on the show, Patrick and Rhia.
"Hey guys, what's going on over here?" Patrick asks, sitting beside you and placing his arm around your shoulder.
He's moving a little fast, you think, so you shrug his arm slightly, hinting for him to remove it. you don't miss the little smirk on Hyunjin's face as Patrick puts his arm down, perhaps you were going to have someone to share a bed with tonight after all.
"Nothing much," Hyunjin says. "Just getting to know each other, that's all."
"Ah, I see," Patrick says. "So you're still open to talking to other guys here, right?"
"Um, I guess," you say, looking over at the girl, Rhia, for some support.
"That is if she wants to," Rhia says, sipping her champagne.
"Of course."
You felt a little awkward now, now that it wasn't just you and Hyunjin talking, you wanted to get away from whatever was going on. So, with that, you stood up and excused yourself to the "bathroom".
-
YOU: I think Hyunjin could tell that I was getting uncomfortable, he seemed a little concerned. I don't know why I'm so hooked on this guy already, I've literally only spoken to him once and it was a five-minute conversation, if that. [rolls eyes] He's just so dreamy and the way he talks just sucks me in. It's like he has his own gravitational pull.
-
You sat yourself down on the bed on the far side of the room, right next to the wall, it made you feel safe being so far away from everything. You were sure that people watching right now would think you are so dramatic for getting panicked over such a small thing but you've always been a pretty sensitive person, especially when it comes to people touching you when you least expect it. Don't get me wrong, you're all for a good fuck but it has to be with the person you want, you aren't a free for all.
There was a knock at the door and you weren't expecting Rhia to walk in and head straight towards you. If anything, you thought Patrick would come in to carry on sweet-talking you.
"Hey, hunny," she says, sitting next to you.
"How did you know I was in here?" You ask. "I said I was going to the bathroom."
She chuckles. "I'm a woman too, y/n. I know when we lie."
You laugh at her response.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm alright, I just didn't really want Patrick to do that. I know it's only his arm around my shoulder but he just genuinely isn't my type anyways and he'd literally just got there too." You explain.
"I understand," she says. "It's completely normal for you to get a little anxious over it, it probably caught you off guard. I'm sure that when you go back down there in a minute you'll feel completely fine, you just need to get used to the people here, that's all.."
You nod in response. She was so good at this.
"Come on," she says, offering her hand to you. "Let's go get drunk!"
-
YOU: God, that was so petty of me. Despite that little shake-up, I quite like this place, it seems pretty chilled so far, not too crazy, not too horny. [grins] Yet.
-
Well, Rhia was right. The second you and her got down to where everybody else was sitting, drinking and laughing amongst each other, you felt better. You walked over to sit on one of the outdoor sofas, in between Hyunjin and a girl called Layla and if you were being quite honest, she didn't look too pleased that you had created a barrier between her and him.
"Hey," Hyunjin said, passing you an empty glass and filling it up with what seemed to be gin mixed with lemonade.
"Hey," you reply. "I'm sorry about walking away before, I just needed a little bit of space."
"It's alright, don't stress it. I know Patrick probably caught you off guard a little, I'm sure he meant no harm."
"Yeah, I know. I'm just a little sensitive to those things, that's all," you say, looking up at him.
"We all have our own pace at doing things, others should respect that instead of just assuming you're alright with it," he explains, taking a swig of his drink.
He was too good at talking; you could just sit here all day and listen to him talk about anything and everything. The way he worded things was so genuine and it made so much sense.
"Yeah, I completely get that."
"Anyways," he says. "What are you wearing to the party later tonight?"
"There's a party?" You asked.
-
YOU: Since, uh, when was there a party?!?!?!?
-
"Oh, you must've missed the announcement while you were with Rhia. There isn't a theme or anything, it's just dressing up and looking hot which I'm sure you won't struggle with," he flirts, making your cheeks heat up a little.
"You're one to talk," you smile. "I'm sure you'd look in just about everything. You look like the type."
"Do I look like your type?"
"Maybe."
-
You were getting ready for the party and excited wasn't a strong enough word for how you were feeling right now. You lathered a bold, red lipstick over your lips and puckered them, making sure it was good enough.
"Damnnnn girl, you look so good," Rhia says, standing behind you in the mirror.
"Oh, stop it, I barely changed anything. You, on the other hand - even I'd fuck you and I don't even like women," you joke, making her laugh along with you.
"You have to be joking, you literally look drop-dead gorgeous right now, y/n. I know Hyunjin won't be able to take his eyes off you."
You blush slightly at the thought of him obsessing over you. "What? Why would Hyunjin look at me? why would I care?"
"He is so attracted to you already, I can tell. the way he looks at you is like he's seeing God," she explains, making you smile unknowingly.
"As if."
"You can be in denial all you want, but I know you're getting a big fat snog tonight and there is nothing you can do about it," she says, an excitable tone in her voice.
"I'll kiss him if you kiss Patrick. I know you like him," you say.
"Deal." She smiles, shaking your hand. "But seriously, that dress looks so good on you."
-
YOU: Do I want to kiss Hyunjin tonight? Yes. Do I have the confidence to kiss Hyunjin tonight? Yes. Am I scared in case he isn't attracted to me the way I am to him? Also yes. But either way, I'm having fun tonight [winks]
-
You and Rhia walked down to the newly decorated 'Party Zone' and were greeted by three of the boys. Patrick, Mason, and Harry. As much as you thought Harry was attractive, you didn't see yourself sharing the bed with him tonight. Plus, he seemed smitten with Hollie so you didn't want to step in between them for the sake of a good fuck.
"Hey, ladies!" Mason said, his Australian accent ripping through his words.
God, how you loved accents.
"Hey," you said, accepting the drink he offered you.
"You look amazing," he says, smiling down at you. "Truly amazing."
"Thank you," you say, not much feeling going into it. "You look pretty good yourself."
"Aren't you a little flirt?" He asks, tucking a piece of your hair behind your ear.
"Do you want another drink?" You ask him, taking his glass from his hand.
"Uh, sure," he says stepping back from you so you can go and pour him and new one.
While you're filling up Mason's glass, you hear cheers from Rhia and turn around, Layla and Hollie were strutting down, Layla wearing the most gorgeous dress you've ever seen, and Hollie looking beautiful as always.
Layla had long, blonde hair that travelled all the way down to the bottom of her back; it curled in the most perfect places and she just looked incredible. Still, you hadn't really spoken to her so you didn't know if she was a nice girl or not.
When you had finished with the drinks, you walked back over and handed it to Mason who was now trying to chat up Hollie and let me just say, Harry did not look happy. You could tell from first glance that he liked her.
Hyunjin was the last to arrive and you could see why, he looked amazing. He was wearing a pair of navy blue cargo shorts with a black button-up, the first three buttons completely ignored. His hair was down and you were sure you'd never seen a more attractive man in your life.
You were the first one to go over and approach him. "Hi."
He chuckles. "Hey," he looks you up and down. "You look gorgeous."
"Thank you," you say, a small pink lighting up your cheeks.
"Aren't you going to say how beautiful I am too," he jokes, flipping his hair over your shoulder and making you laugh.
-
HYUNJIN: Listen to me, right. Her laugh is the most adorable thing a man could ever hear. I know I've only known her for like ten hours but I already know for sure that she's gonna be the girl I'll be chasing after.
-
"You do look really handsome, I must say," you compliment, untangling the microphone that's around his neck, grazing your fingers against his skin as you do so.
"Glad I could be of service," he smiles walking down to the others with you.
"Hey, sexy!" Layla shouts, whistling at Hyunjin.
All that Hyunjin does is smile over at her and give her a small "hey" before turning back to the guys and talking to them.
"Doesn't Layla look so good, man?" Mason says, biting his lip as he stares at her.
"I mean, yeah, she looks good but I wouldn't say she's the best-looking girl here," Hyunjin replies, thinking of you.
"Well, who takes your interest then?" Harry asks.
"I've got to say, y/n looks absolutely amazing tonight," he says, looking at you for a brief moment and then back at the other guys.
"She has a great butt but I wouldn't really say her face is all that great," Mason says. "I'm more of an ass guy though to be fair so I'd let her have it."
Hyunjin didn't really like Mason already, based off of that. Had he even looked at your face? You looked beautiful and he was sure that you always would. Oh well, more for him and less competition for you.
You, similarly to Hyunjin, were sat with the girls, discussing how amazing the guys looked tonight and sharing who you thought was the sexiest out of them all.
"I think Harry looks amazing," Hollie says.
"Of course you do, girl. We can all see how much you fancy him," you say.
"You're one to talk, you're practically drooling over Hyunjin," Rhia laughs, earning one from you as well.
"What about Hyunjin?" Layla asks, clearly only just paying attention to the conversation.
"Y/n fancies him," Rhia says. "don't you?"
Layla gives you the dirtiest look you've ever seen when she hears those words. You decide to play on her mind.
"Yeah, he's definitely my favourite here. He just manages to look so good all the time and I don't know how he does it."
"Well, I was talking to him before and I definitely think he likes me the most," Layla chimes, making Rhia chuckle.
"Whatever you say, babe," Rhia says, flipping her hair over her shoulder and taking a sip of her wine.
-
YOU: He likes her too? Honey, please. If there has to be a little war to win over Hyunjin then I will have no problems with doing that.
-
"Okay guys," Mason says, standing up in front of everybody. "Tonight, we're going to be playing the blindfold game. There are no rules. Do whatever you want. Kiss, feel, touch, smell. Anything. We just have to figure out who did what."
We all cheer and Mason declares himself as the person going first as he was the one who presented the game but you just have a suspicion that he's too horny to wait.
Mason places the blindfold over his head, covers his eyes and stands there, waiting for somebody to come up to him.
Layla stands up and walks over to him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders and pulling him in for a kiss. His hands go around her waist as they attack each other's faces, tongues smashing against each other.
Soon enough, it was your turn to stand up in front of everybody and wait for someone to kiss you. Every ounce of you wanted it to be Hyunjin but you had a suspicion that someone would beat him to it.
As you stood there, you felt a pair of large hands place themselves on your waist and slide down to your ass. The man leans in and kisses you with some aggression, he grabs a handful of your butt and lets go, pulling away from the kiss as he did so.
When you think he has at back down, you remove the blindfold and look around, your eyes immediately darting to Hyunjin but he didn't seem to have a very pleasant look on his face. Were you really that bad at kissing? However, before you could point at him, you saw the huge red lipstick stain around Patrick's mouth and knew that it was him.
"It was you, Patrick, wasn't it?" You ask.
"How did you know?" he says, throwing his arms in the air.
"You're wearing my makeup," you laugh, placing the blindfold down on the table ready for the next person.
Hyunjin stands up.
-
HYUNJIN: God, I want y/n to kiss me. Stupid fucking Patrick beat me to it. Looks like there's a little competition here.
-
He places the blindfold over his head and waits. You see Layla stand up but you weren't going to let her take your chance away from you. You cut in front of her and grab Hyunjin's face, listening to the scoff she lets out before sitting back down. You pull Hyunjin close towards you and press your lips into his. He seems to enjoy the kiss and his hands go through your hair and rest on your neck, his tongue slipping into your mouth and wrapping around your own.
Soon enough, you have to pull away and sit back down before he notices who it could be. You could see the smile on Rhia's face and you turned at sat next to her and you were sure you had one yourself.
He removes the blindfold.
"Fucking hell," he sighs, licking his lips slightly.
He looks around the group and his eyes land on you. He points his finger at you, causing you to giggle and nod. A small grin breaks out on Hyunjin's face and it gives you a small sensation in your stomach.
He smiles to himself as he walks back to his seat and sits back down. He had a chance and he knew it.
-
After the party, it was time to have a little bit of free time before the nightly briefing. So, you being you, wanted a little bit of time to yourself and to just chill out before you went back and mingled with the group. However, whilst you were sitting on the bed you had claimed earlier, someone disturbed your peace.
Layla.
"Hey y/n," she says, sounding a bit snotty.
"Hey, Layla. You alright?"
"Oh, as if you care," she snaps. "All you want to do is pounce on other people's men. You can't take Hyunjin from me."
Was she being serious right now?
"Listen, all I did was kiss the boy I like. It's not my fault that you think he's attractive too. I guess he's just gonna have to choose between us because I'm not going to give up on him just because you like him. That's not how it works, babe," you say, standing up and walking out of the room, leaving her to her own devices.
Ironically, when you were heading to the sun loungers, you bumped into Hyunjin.
"Oh, hey y/n," he says, stopping you.
"Hi," you smile. He was so pretty.
"How are you? I didn't really get to speak to you for very long earlier," he asks.
"Yeah, I'm good. Just trying to find a quiet place for a few minutes," you reply.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I'll leave you in peace if you want."
"No!" you blurt, not meaning for it to be that loud. "I mean, no, you can stay."
He chuckles and says, 'Okay then'.
"So how are you liking the retreat so far?" You ask, sitting down with him opposite you, your legs grazing against each other.
"Yeah, it's pretty good at the minute. I have to say, I enjoyed the kiss earlier. It's just a shame it was in front of everybody," he admits, leaning into the conversation.
"Oh really?" you ask, raising your eyebrows and planting a smirk on your face. "How much did you like it?"
"So much," he whispered.
"I'll gladly give you a second taste," you say, biting your bottom lip.
"Bet."
Hyunjin leans in towards you and places his hand on your cheeks. He softly kisses your lips and waits for you to give him a hint that you want more. He slides his tongue along your lips, begging for entrance. Your tongues collide with each other, the kiss getting messier by the minute. You run your hands down his arms and pull away from the kiss, the two of you breathing heavily.
"You're way too good at that," he smiles, pecking your lips.
You giggle at him, pushing him away jokingly, your hand on his bare chest.
"You're so hot," he says, smiling at you.
"You're one to talk," you reply. "I just wish we could go to bed already."
You hoped he understood what you meant and by the look on his face, once he'd processed what you said, he understood it perfectly well.
"Just you wait."
-
YOU: [groans] Hyunjin is just so fucking dreamy. I just want to rip his clothes off. His body is to die for and his lips are just so soft. I could kiss him all day and never get bored. But hey, it's only the first day, who knows what could happen?
-
While you and Hyunjin were talking you heard a melodic chime from beside you and spotted a small cone.
"What the fuck is that?" Hyunjin says, a small chuckle escaping his mouth.
"Hello," the cone says. "I'm Lana."
The both of you say hi back to the cone you have never been more confused in your life.
"Welcome to your first night at the retreat. I hope the accommodations are to your liking.
"It's perfect, Lana. We love it," you say.
"I must say, you all are aesthetically pleasing to the artificial eye."
"Thank you, Lana. The same goes for you." Hyunjin laughs. "I love your cone."
"I must ask you to make your way to the cabana," she says before turning off.
-
We all gathered in the cabana, confused about what was about to happen. What was this cone and why did it talk?
The chime rings out again, making some of the girls jump.
"Hi. I'm your virtual guide."
"Hey, Siri," Mason says, clearly thinking that was the funniest thing in the world.
"Actually, my name is Lana," she says.
"Get told," you say, chuckling.
"Welcome."
"Lana is sounding kinda hot right now. She's very well-spoken, very polite," Harry jokes, making a couple of us laugh along with him.
"However," she says.
-
YOU: However? That is never good, especially on a dating show. What does she mean, however?
-
"You are not here for the reasons you may think. In the last twelve hours, I have been observing you, and learning about your behaviour. It has been most insightful."
"Alright," Hyunjin says. "She's a little weird."
"You have been specially selected as all of you are having meaningless flings over genuine relationships," she says. "The purpose of this retreat is to help you gain deeper emotional connections in your personal relationships."
"You'll have platonic friendships with women, basically," Harry says, a traumatised look on his face, making the other guys laugh.
She has to be joking.
"As an incentive to your development, I have included a grand prize of $100,000."
-
YOU: One hundred grand!? Okay, at first I didn't like her but she's starting to grow on me. Tell me more, Lana.
-
"What do you think we have to do to win?" You ask, everyone giving their own answers.
"If it's washing up or cooking, I might as well go home now," Mason says, laughing.
"However," she says. "There are conditions to your stay here."
"Oh, fuck, here we go," Hyunjin says, wrapping his arm around your shoulders.
"You will have to abstain from any sexual practices for the entirety of her stay."
-
HYUNJIN: Is she fucking serious right now? I've just met the hottest girl I've ever seen in my life and she's telling me I can't have sex with her. What is she gonna do next, tell me I can't kiss her?
-
"That means no kissing, no heavy petting or sex of any kind."
"Is she fucking serious right now?" you say, putting your hands over your face.
"This will also apply to self-gratification."
You have never heard a gasp so loud as in that moment. Why was she doing this to us? All we wanted to do was have fun and maybe one relationship could've come out of it but at the end of the day, it's our body, our choice.
"Right, okay. No sex of any kind," Hollie says.
Lana continues. "Money will be deducted from the prize for any sexual activity."
"No!" Patrick says. "I had a feeling she was gonna say that."
"Welcome to the retreat," she says, turning herself off again.
"Fuck you, Lana," you say as everyone collects their things and walks away.
-
YOU: If she thinks for one minute that I'm keeping my hands to myself for the sake of some money, she can forget it. I signed up for this show to have fun and wasn't going to leave with any money in the first place. Who gives a fuck?
-
It was time for everyone to get into bed. You had thrown on one of your lacy nightgowns that was perhaps a little too sexy for a retreat with no sex but oh well.
Walking into the bedroom was a challenge in itself, the smell of horny people just filled your nose and intoxicated your brain.
You walk over to the bed you had selected earlier in the day and get under the covers, waiting for your desired bed partner to walk in.
Soon enough, Hyunjin came through the door and his eyes immediately went to you, a smile breaking out on his face when he saw you waiting for him. You peel the blanket back so he can get comfortable and lay it back over him once he's sorted.
"Hey," you say, your voice a little quieter than usual.
"hey," he sighs. "These new rules are gonna be the death of me. I don't know how I'm gonna manage a whole entire month without touching you."
"Don't worry, we'll find a way. Who gives a fuck?" you say, earning a small laugh from him.
You feel someone staring into the side of your head so you turn to look at them and it ends up being Layla, a dirty look planted on her face as she sits in bed with Mason.
"What's her problem,?" Hyunjin asks you, quiet enough so she won't hear him.
"She likes you and hates the fact that I pushed in front of her earlier when we were playing the blindfold game to kiss you," you explain. "She argued with me about it before and she's absolutely furious that you're paying more attention to me than her."
He chuckles and rolls his eyes. "Of course, I'm going to pay more attention to you. You're the only one in here worth my time. Plus, you're the one I'm most physically attracted to which is helpful."
"Yeah, I suppose that's a good thing," you joke.
-
It was the morning and you woke up in Hyunjin's arms, your head buried in his chest and his hands placed perfectly around your waist. The lights automatically turned on, making you shut your eyes and groan.
"For fuck sake."
You hear a deep chuckle from next to you and realise that Hyunjin is now awake.
"How long have you been up?" You ask, smiling at him.
He places a hand on your hair and strokes through your hair. "Not long, I woke up just before the lights turned on."
"Me too," you groan.
"You are so gorgeous," Hyunjin smiles, looking down into your eyes.
"Stop it," you blush.
You didn't actually want him to stop. You had never felt this way about someone before, never felt this flustered at something so simple as a compliment.
"I'll only stop if you stop being so beautiful."
You giggle and hide your face in his neck. "Stop it!"
"Well, aren't you two adorable?" A voice calls from across the room.
"Shut up, Patrick."
-
YOU: I can't believe this place. I'm surrounded by horny people and I can't even kiss one of them. All I want to do is rip Hyunjin's clothes off and have a good time but stupid Lana won't let me do that.

I am living for the dynamic between 15 and Ruby. It's very much "we have one brain cell and it's never where we need it" until things get serious and then they're both so smart and play off each other.
I'm a little worried we're speedrunning parts of the Doctor-Companion connection in a way a lot of modern shows have started skipping over stuff. Like it's a function of modern TV not to give things time to breath and it's almost never a positive.
On the other hand, I really like the Doctor being a more open (well, "more open" for the doctor) version of himself after parallel processing therapy. It's a nice change in pace. I didn't love 13 so I might be misremembering but I felt like she was so closed off all the time. After Clara died, I feel like 12 never opened up either, Bill felt like a rebound companion and she died horrible too. It's nice to see a Doctor whose a bit more open about his life and past, even if he's not actually fine and still very much an elder god with TRAUMA.
Still though, I love that Ruby never felt overwhelmed by the time travel and weirdness. Like I called it out when we first met her in Church on Ruby Road, she just sorta rolled with baby eating goblins and even the musical number there. It's fun having a companion who's smart and witty and settles into the flow so well.

hihi!!! can I request a traffic light trio x fem!goddess reader please!! (all separate head cannons!!)
Oooo this’ll be fun!
Traffic light trio x Fem!Goddess!Reader
Redson
With this one, yall met a celestial event
One look across the room and this one became so curious
You were someone newer, under the wing of Quanyin and still learning the ropes but getting the hang of it quite easily
So you two met, begrudgingly under Quanyins guidance
But Reds was very… nice and polite. Very different from the stories you heard
Then things evolved and here you were dating!
She visits you more often than you visit her, mostly because his father likes to joke they took after him
PIF and DBK both approve of this btw. They would be hypocrites not to.
Gifts and trinkets they made decorate your walls, however they are more mystical in nature
Loves loves loves when you send gifts back. Likes the the little swans you make to actually fly down to him the most
Dates consist of you guys walking the celestial heavens all day any day
Letters travel back and forth between you two a lot because yall are both pretty busy
What you don’t know is that they save all of the letters in order to craft you a swan of your own made up of the love he has for you
Cuddle up to him and watch them combust
MK
Ok he may have flown a bit too high while in his bird form and smacked you in the face-
Instantly transforming back and apologizing profusely
Then he gets stars in his eyes once he really looks at you
“Wow… you might be the goddess of my dreams- SORRY THAT SLIPPED OUT!”
Poor boy, he’s too cute for his own good
Once you start dating, he sends you so many doodles he’s made of you
So. Many. Doodles.
Even makes you a whole ass portrait for your anniversary
Yall both go to Flower Fruit Mountain for dates
Wukong keeps to himself, but gives MK proud smirks so damn often
Loves cuddling you. Snug as a bug in a rug when you hold him with all your robes flowing around
Makes you food. Is very particular on how he makes it cause you’re a goddess-
Loves star gazing with you and hearing all the stories you tell about different constellations
Oh my god he’s so fucking cute I can’t express how endearing it is
Would try and replicate a clay pot he saw and it would come out a muddled mess and you still cherish that thing
You are so protective of him if any other celestial tries to criticize you for dating the pupil of that “menace of a primate”
He has and will faint if you coo over him being cute. Do it, it’ll be funny
Mei
Honestly, pure fucking coincidence you two met
You were talking with the her uncle and she decided to crash in for a visit
Took one look at you and went “oh, cute. Imma keep her!”
And so you two are dating now-
Dates take place in Megalopolis mostly, she doesn’t really like the celestial realm and you haven’t seen a lot of the modern world
Likes to take you on motorcycle rides the most. The gleam in your eyes pales to the sun in her mind
Gives you her jacket if you get cold, even if you pint out you can just summon one of your own.
Loves doing your hair. Trying out different hairstyles is so fun.
Gets you a phone. Then sends you songs that remind her of you. You have so many playlists from her
Teaches you hand to hand combat with weapons because you never know when you need it
Loves hanging you off her arm and bragging how she bagged a “goddess”
You wanna know what’ll get her weak as well? Do her own hair. Face will be beat red. Do it.
That’s all :3

(an X-Files fanfic)
Chapter 23/34 - filing cabinet
[Read on AO3]
Tumblr media
The water cooler gurgles as he fills a small paper cup and takes a sip. Today had been the day. After weeks of going through personnel files for prospective replacements, they finally met with a few candidates. He meant what he said to Scully; he’s ready to let go of the reins a little. That doesn’t make the actuality of handing over the X-Files any easier.
Force of habit, he thinks, to resist any and all efforts to boot them from the X-Files. He has to keep reminding himself that it was his idea this time, and that they’d still be working on them in a consulting capacity anyway. He isn’t quitting cold turkey. And besides, they’re moving on to bigger and much better things.
Lost in thought, he doesn’t notice at first when a few other guys gather around, each filling their own cups with water.
“So, Garcia,” the first one says, addressing a man Mulder vaguely recalls works in Organized Crime. “I hear the wife’s about to pop. You ready?”
Agent Garcia smiles, nodding his head. “Oh yeah. We’re going out tonight. One last night on the town before the baby gets here, you know?”
“You gotta do it,” another agent says. Agent Mann, or something silly like that, Mulder thinks. “They call it a ‘babymoon,’ you ever heard of that? My wife and I took a trip down to the Isle of Palms for ours before Michael was born. Great beaches. Now we’re lucky if we make it to the coast without one or all of our kids ingesting sand.”
The men share a hearty laugh, and Mulder feels a little out of place.
“Amy would have killed me if I hadn’t taken her out for a nice dinner before our first,” the first agent says. “It was another two years before we were able to go to a nice restaurant alone, so I wouldn’t have blamed her!”
Is this something people do, Mulder wonders? Is Scully expecting it? Maybe he had missed the memo at some point. Is there a soon-to-be-dad handbook somewhere that tells them how to win points with their wives before they become parents? Should he have come up with a plan to do something special for Scully? Their lives are about to irreversibly change, and he hadn’t even considered, really, that very soon, it won’t be just the two of them anymore. There will be a third person, someone entirely dependent on them just to stay alive.
He fills his paper cup again, feeling sweat begin to form under his collar.
Dinner. He can do dinner, that’s a good idea. He should ask her. One last hoorah as the infamous Mulder-Scully duo for old times’ sake. She’d like that.
With a polite nod and a forced smile at his fellow agents around the water cooler, he heads back toward the elevator, and back to the basement.
-.-.-
“Hey, there you are,” Scully says as he shuts the door behind him. She’s elbow deep in one of the filing cabinet drawers, evidently rooting around at the back for a stray piece of paper that has escaped a folder. “Help me figure out which files to make copies of. I know you’re going to want to keep some of them,” she says.
She knows him so well. He’s already started making a mental list of ones he wants to have in his personal collection. The Bellefleur file, for example. And of course, the ones with his name or Scully’s in it, but those are for much less happy, nostalgic reasons.
Slouching his suit coat off his shoulders, he rolls up his sleeves and approaches the drawer, offering his assistance in reaching the wayward scrap of paper. Her little arms are too short, a fact which he intends to tease her about later. His fingers successfully find the edge of the document, and he extracts it with careful precision.
A familiar picture stares back up at him, giving him a hearty chuckle.
“Remember this one?” he asks, turning his sketch of the Jersey Devil back toward her.
She laughs as she takes it from him, inspecting it. “How could I forget?” she says, “I think this image is forever ingrained in my psyche.”
“Hey, don’t make fun of my drawing,” he says. “I want a copy of that file. With my beautiful artwork, please.”
She rolls her eyes, but opens up a folder and slides the paper in its rightful place. He can’t help but notice it was already in the ‘to-be-xeroxed’ pile before he said anything.
The office falls silent as he continues rifling through the cabinets, plucking out a file here and there that he wouldn’t mind keeping. It’s a walk down memory lane, for him. Flukeman, Big Blue, the vampire sheriff in Texas… Who would have thought that seven years later, he’d still have Scully by his side as he prepares to let go of what became his life’s work? Their life’s work. She should have run screaming from here years ago, but she didn’t.
Now look where it’s gotten them.
Glancing up at her from over the top of the overstuffed file drawer and filled with a sudden surge of gratefulness that he doesn’t know what to do with, he blurts, “Let’s go out to dinner tonight.”
She freezes, and he mentally kicks himself for the hasty delivery of his idea. Theoretically, he should have planned a better way to ask her. After a second that feels like an eternity, she turns to him with a skeptical tilt to her brow and a small smile.
Well, at least he knows he’ll still get to see her make that expression at him even when they’re off the X-Files.
“I mean, we could try that new place in Dupont Circle. The one your mom was telling you about? If you want.”
“What’s the occasion?” she asks, folding her arms expectantly in front of her chest as she leans back in his office chair.
“You know,” he shrugs, “pretty soon it won’t be just us anymore, and I– I like… spending time with you… So I just thought it would be nice to—”
She smiles shyly. “That sounds great, Mulder,” she says, interrupting his fumbling explanation. “Tonight at seven?”
He grins, ducking his head to hide his goofy expression. “Yeah, seven. I’ll make the reservations.”
-.-.-
In hindsight, this is a crazy idea. The restaurant they’re going to is extravagant. Ostentatious. And he knows Scully knows it, too. The margin of error for plausible deniability here is extremely small, and if she doesn’t have some idea of his feelings for her already, he’s going to have a hard time keeping it that way as they sit in a low-lit room munching on those fancy breadsticks and drinking expensive wine.
What had he been thinking? He asked her out without even sparing it a thought, not realizing how it would sound. To be going out on a date with your best friend who is also technically your wife? Langly and Frohike were right. He is an idiot. What is he supposed to do on this ‘date?’ How is he supposed to act? Does she expect anything from him? Is this his last chance to make a move? What does it mean that this is one of the last nights they’ll spend alone together before someone literally hands them a baby and lets them take it home?
The idea of making a move, after all this time spent explicitly trying not to do exactly that, has him in a spiral. He paces around the floor in his bedroom, trying not to think about what dress Scully might be putting on in her room on the other side of the hall or what she might be doing with her hair.
He can’t upset the status quo like this with the baby due any time in the next few weeks, can he? Bad idea. Bad, bad, idea. But at the same time, when else would he get the chance? He’d heard what the other agents had said… it was years in some cases before new parents got the chance to really be alone. What if he had to spend the next several years silently pining for his own wife in the home they share together, watching her be a mother to the baby they adopted? Maybe there’s a reason people don’t get into arrangements like this with their platonic best friend, after all.
How stupid was he to think he could do this without letting his feelings get in the way? Why on earth didn’t he just tell her months ago, before all this started, instead of getting his hopes up?
The answer, of course, is that he wants this. He wants this family more than anything, even if it's never anything more than friendship and cohabitation with Scully. He would have scared her away if he told her the same day she found those adoption brochures on his desk. It would be too much at once. He knows her, she would have been overwhelmed.
But, man… What if?
He checks his reflection in the mirror one more time, smoothing his hair into place. He hopes he didn’t overdo it on the cologne. Should he be wearing a tie? He puts on one that Scully got him several years ago, complete with a tie clip he’d gotten from her mother at Christmas.
He hesitates over the chain he wears under his shirt. What would Scully think if he took it off and wore it on his finger tonight? He finds that he wants to. Just a normal husband and wife grabbing dinner together. Without giving it much thought, he loosens his tie and unbuttons the top button of his shirt to free the necklace from its usual place. He knows that if he gives it much more consideration, he’ll talk himself out of it, so he pushes those thoughts to the back of his mind and slides the band onto his left ring finger.
There. He’s ready.
He takes a deep breath and opens the door to his room, intent on continuing his pacing in the living room if Scully isn’t ready to go yet.
“I’ll be ready in a minute,” he hears her call from the bathroom as his door creaks open. At a quick glance, he can see the back of an elegant dress he’s never seen before, black with a neckline that swoops down low in the back. She stands at the sink, fastening an earring in place, and it feels like junior prom all over again.
“Oh, I’m in deep trouble,” Mulder mutters to himself, rubbing his hands over his face. Forcing himself to turn away, he walks straight to the kitchen and fills up a glass of water, downing it in record time.
Not five minutes later, he hears her emerge, and he prepares himself for the sight of her.
Sure enough, it knocks the breath out of him, a fact which he makes every attempt to hide. He’s pretty sure she catches it, though, because the corner of her mouth quirks up and her eyes drift to the floor, as if she were somehow self-conscious about her appearance.
Impossible.
He’s suddenly very glad he opted for the tie, if this is what she's wearing to dinner. Although, it’s feeling a little tight, at the moment.
“You, uh—” he starts, at a loss for words. His mouth is bone dry, despite the water he had just chugged a few minutes ago. “You—”
“Thanks,” she says, mercifully sparing him from further embarrassment. She tucks a gently curled tuft of hair behind her ear, drawing his attention to the careful way she’s arranged it. “I figured this might be my last chance to get properly dressed up for a while, so… It’s been… years, I suppose, since I’ve had the occasion to.”
This just confirms it. He’s been an idiot. Years of missed opportunities, chances he’s wasted. He could have been taking this gorgeous, magnificent woman out to fancy dinners all the time, if he’d just been able to pull himself together and see past the end of his own rather distinguished nose.
If time travel is ever invented, he’s gonna use it to go back in time and kick his own—
“Mulder?” she says, smiling amusedly at him. He gets the sense that that’s not the first time she’s tried to get his attention, and he feels his cheeks warm. “I said, are you ready to go?”
“Yeah,” he chokes out, finding his voice at last. She reaches down to grab her purse, and he coughs to clear his throat. “Yeah, let’s go.”
She shakes her head at him in mock admonition, but happily accepts his proffered arm as they exit out the front door of the apartment. In the hall, he glances down, taking in the sight of her hands wrapped comfortably around his right bicep.
Her ring. She’s wearing it. He swears his heart might leap out of his chest at the thought. This might just be the thing that does him in. Put it on his death certificate. ‘Cause of death: the woman he loves is wearing his ring.’ What a way to go.
He doesn’t say anything—couldn’t, even if he wanted to—but he can tell that she saw him take notice. How could he not, with the way it sparkles on her finger, like it belongs there? He feels her hold loosen, and it stirs up a mild panic in his chest. She shouldn’t be embarrassed. Please, please don’t be embarrassed.
He lifts his hand to stop her from releasing him, running his thumb over the diamond inset on her finger. It’s okay, he’s saying. Look, I’m wearing mine too.
He sees the moment her eyes fix on his ring, as he rests his left hand over hers on his arm. She avoids his eyes, but he can tell she’s moved. She swallows back her emotion, and her hold on him tightens again, which sends a wave of relief through his body.
“Come on, we’ll be late for our reservation,” he says, his voice low, just for her ears.
She nods, and lets him lead the way.
-.-.-
His first mistake was thinking that he could get day-of reservations at one of the trendiest places in all of Washington, D.C. His second mistake was not considering that his straightforward request for a table that evening might somehow be misconstrued to mean that evening a year from now.
It takes all his self restraint not to raise his voice at the host at the host stand, because really, why would he be asking for something like that? He’d like to give them a little lesson on the use of the English language, but he won’t, only because Scully is there and he doesn’t want to completely ruin the evening.
She’s there watching him as all this takes place, undoubtedly amused as he fights back frustration. After a moment, her hand lands on his arm, her typical method of pulling him back from the brink of a poor decision that she’s perfected over the years, and she shakes her head.
“It’s alright, Mulder,” she says. “We can just go somewhere else.”
Yeah, but where?
“Have a good evening,” the host says dismissively, and his tone is just a little bit too smug for Mulder’s taste. It reminds him of stuffy dinners with his father’s associates or interactions he had with the pompous law students at Oxford. Maybe they don’t want to eat here after all.
Scully feels him tense under her touch, and gently guides him out of the restaurant before he can respond. What would he do without her? He’d probably get beaten up a lot more often, that’s for sure. Or at least kicked out of places, like he would have been tonight.
She leads him outside, and soon enough, they’re standing on the sidewalk by the street, at a loss for what to do next.
“I’m sorry, Scully,” he says, mentally kicking himself for screwing this up so badly. “I just wanted to do something special, and now—”
“Mulder,” she stops him. “Seriously. It’s okay. I’m happy with wherever we decide to go tonight. This is about spending time together, right?”
“Yeah.”
“Then let's go,” she says, grabbing his hand. “Come on, I have an idea.”
She holds tight to him as she leads them down the sidewalk, passing other couples on the street on this lovely spring evening. He has no idea where she could possibly be taking them, but she’s in a great mood, so he tries not to let the minor setback ruin his night. If she’s happy, then he’s happy.
The sun draws closer to the horizon, casting a golden glow on everything and everyone it touches. It makes her hair shine like fire, and once again he counts his blessings. It feels a little bit like the night of their wedding, and that thought brings a smile to his face.
They walk past several up-scale restaurants, and Scully doesn’t even spare them a glance. Wherever she’s taking them, she must know the way there. After a couple more blocks, she comes to a stop, standing out front of a greasy diner, maybe just a little nicer than the ones they frequent in small-town America.
“Really?” he asks, looking dubiously up at the neon sign. “You sure you don’t want to go somewhere a little fancier, Scully? You got all dressed up.”
Her answering smile is resplendent in the glowing light.
“I want to eat here, Mulder,” she says, stepping toward the entrance. A bell above the door jingles as she pushes it open. “It seems fitting, doesn’t it?”
It does. A wave of nostalgia hits him like a truck when he realizes why she brought them here. Why a diner, of all places, would be the place she chooses for their ceremonial last meal, just the two of them. He can’t count how many formica tabletops just like this one they’ve shared a meal at, over the years. Hundreds of hamburgers with a side of fries, maybe a milkshake they end up splitting when Scully’s ice water loses its appeal. Ripped vinyl booths that Scully thoroughly wipes down with wet wipes she’d started keeping in her bag for that exact purpose.
“Well, don’t you two look nice?” a waitress in uniform says as she approaches their table. Her hair looks like the 80s have come back with a vengeance, all frizzy and permed, and she chews a wad of bubblegum aggressively, smelling like her last smoke break.
In short, it’s perfect.
“What’ll it be?” she asks.
Mulder orders for the both of them, knowing Scully’s usual order by heart. She smiles the way she always does when he remembers to ask for a lemon for her water, and he makes sure to tell the waitress to bring two straws for the milkshake instead of one.
When he looks across the booth at Scully, again, he imagines a little girl sitting next to her, coloring away on a kids menu with two, cheap, plasticky crayons that break in half if you look at them wrong.
It won’t be long, now. That will be their life. Mulder, party of three. Maybe Scully will start to carry a plastic baggy of the good crayons in her bag, for when they go to places like this. He’s absolutely certain she’ll at least double her use of wet wipes and sanitizer. He’ll become a chicken strip connoisseur, knowing all the best places in the city to get the child-favorite delicacy.
“To us,” Mulder toasts once their drinks arrive, lifting his chocolate milkshake in the air between them. “To… endings and new beginnings.”
“To endings and new beginnings,” Scully repeats, clinking her glass against his.
-.-.-
It’s past dark already, barely a hint of color lingering on the horizon, but that doesn’t stop them from prolonging the evening with a walk to the National Mall. The moon is bright, and the streets are lit up for tourists making the most of the warmer spring weather. It’s a pleasant walk. Scully feels drunk, despite the absence of alcohol with their dinner. She wonders if Mulder feels it too.
He guides her with his hand in its usual place, and she feels what can only be described as complete and utter contentment, as each brush of his fingers propels her gently forward. The street leads them straight to the reflecting pool on the National Mall, a favorite spot of theirs, not that they find the time to visit often enough. They’ve missed the cherry blossom blooms by only a couple weeks, but the sweet smell of them persists, unless it’s just her imagination.
Something about being with Mulder like this dials all her senses up to eleven. She has never experienced life like this before. Are the stars always so bright? Does the cool breeze always feel like silk on her skin?
Maybe it's his cologne that has her feeling tipsy. She selfishly hopes the scent of it will linger on her clothes and in her hair even after this night has come to its end.
The Mall is quiet and mostly empty at this hour. The Washington Monument looms in the distance, lit up brightly and casting its imposing reflection on the still waters of the reflecting pool. A family of ducks disturbs the glassy surface, sending ripples radiating outward as they paddle from one side to the other.
Mulder has this peaceful expression on his face, the corners of his mouth quirked upward ever so slightly. If she didn’t know any better, she’d think he had never been here before, taking in all the sights for the first time. He watches the ducks for a moment, expelling a breath of laughter through his nose as a small duckling falls behind, then swims faster to catch up with the rest of the crew.
His hand drops from her back, but before she has a chance to mourn the loss, he entangles his fingers with hers, clasping their hands tightly together. She follows after him in a daze, her lips pulled back in a self-conscious sort of grin. She can’t help it. He makes her feel like a teenager, and… she doesn’t even know what this is, really, but she likes it.
They circle the reflecting pool for a bit, wandering aimlessly at a lazy pace, reluctant to put an end to their time together. Eventually, they end up sitting on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, the gargantuan statue of the nation’s sixteenth president a silent sentinel behind them.
Scully leans her cheek against Mulder’s bicep. Despite her best efforts to keep them open, her eyes fall shut, her body succumbing to the serenity of their surroundings and the comfort of good company. He offers her his coat, draping it over her shoulders to combat the slight chill. It dwarfs her, the extra fabric at the hem pooling on the ground behind her.
“How about we come here on the weekends?” his voice rumbles, the first words spoken since they left the diner almost half an hour ago.
“Mm?” she hums in question.
He jostles her slightly with his arm, and she forces her eyes open again.
“You know, take the stroller for a spin around the pool,” he says, gesturing ahead of them. “Maybe stop into the Air and Space museum if we feel like it…”
She smiles. She can picture it so easily, the two of them experiencing the wonders of this city through the eyes of their child as she grows. Of course Mulder would want to go to the Air and Space Museum. It’s a wonder he hasn’t dragged her there before.
“Every weekend?” she asks doubtfully, her words slurring slightly.
He wraps his arm around her shoulders, pulling her into his side as he chuckles.
“No, not every weekend,” he says, pressing a kiss to her hairline. “I’m sure some weekends we’ll want to sleep in. Maybe have a late breakfast and watch movies. I can make pancakes. Chocolate chip.”
“Children need to have healthy breakfasts, Mulder,” she says admonishingly. Something tells her it will be a constant battle to keep Mulder from spoiling their daughter with sugar and empty carbs. But if that’s the worst of their disagreements when it comes to co-parenting, she’ll happily accept the challenge.
He rolls his eyes. “Fine. Half blueberry, half chocolate chip,” he concedes. She decides to let it slide for now.
Above them, an airplane soars across the sky, lights blinking rhythmically as it passes overhead.
It’s funny. Before Mulder, she never looked twice at things like that. But now, she finds herself checking a second time, her gaze lingering a little longer, just in case it might be something other than an airplane.
What has this man done to her?
Mulder follows the direction of her stare, his chin tilting upward. Against the backdrop of stars, the perfectly normal, human-built aircraft flies out of sight. The hand on Scully’s shoulder drops to the ground, his palms resting against the stone steps as he reclines back a little.
“Thanks for hanging with me all these years, Scully,” he says softly, his eyes never wavering from the heavens. “I really couldn’t have done it without you.”
Her lips pull back in a smile. “We make a pretty good team, huh?” she says over her shoulder.
His lowers his gaze to meet hers. “I like to think so. You think that will translate to raising a kid?”
She has often wondered that exact thing, but for the life of her now, as she looks into his eyes, she can’t think of even one reason why she questioned it.
She leans back onto his shoulder, her eyes falling shut again.
“Only one way to find out,” she answers sleepily.
He sighs happily. “Any day now.”
-.-.-
What a day. What a night.
Mulder can’t sleep, lying stiffly on his back in bed with his hands clasped on top of his torso. All he can think about is how beautiful she looked in the blinding fluorescent light of the diner, with a bit of ketchup smeared on the corner of her mouth from when she stole one of his fries when she thought he wasn’t looking. How she held his hand, content just to walk in silence beside him in the shadow of some of the nation’s most revered monuments.
What a perfect way to put a cap on their time working on the X-Files together. He couldn’t have planned it better himself (clearly). Who needs expensive wine and stale classical music when you have bottomless milkshakes and a jukebox playing the greatest sock-hop hits of the 1950s?
It wasn’t a real date, he has to remind himself, but it sure was close to one. Usually a first date doesn’t end with both parties going home together, that’s one difference. Or, well, going home to the apartment that they both live in together, he should say. But tonight, as they returned home, they got ready for bed side-by-side at the sink, brushing their teeth and washing their faces, and it felt like they’d been doing this for years. There was no awkwardness there, just a wave of peace and stability he wasn’t sure he’d ever feel in his adult life.
If they ever move somewhere else—somewhere closer to Quantico, maybe—he’ll make sure the bathroom is equipped with a his-and-hers vanity. A sink for each of them, and plenty of counter space for all of Scully’s specialty serums and creams. It’ll be nice, he thinks.
When he finally falls asleep, it’s to visions of wraparound porches and matching rocking chairs, and maybe a nice playset in the backyard with a couple of kids running around. Now that’s a dream worth dreaming of.
-.-.-
This is ridiculous. She should just go back to bed, try one more time to actually fall asleep, get a few hours of rest at least.
But she can’t sleep. Because Mulder had gone and put it in her head that everything is about to change, and it really could happen at any moment. Somehow, when she’s with him, she forgets every apprehension that plagues her, lured into a sense of security and assurance by some mystical power he possesses. Okay, maybe not a mystical power, but it is frightening how easily she casts aside her doubts when he’s within eyesight.
But then it all comes flooding back the moment she’s left to her own thoughts. It’s infuriating. She thought she was ready for it—for this massive life change—but she’s not. It terrifies her.
What if she can’t do it? What if she misses working in the Hoover building with him too much? What if she and Mulder have a disagreement about something trivial and it pulls them apart? What if he meets a nice woman at Quantico and wants out of this arrangement? What if it’s not enough for them to just be friends and raise this baby together? What if her feelings get the best of her, and she scares him away?
Or perhaps worst of all… What if they don’t get to go home with a baby at the end of all this? What if the mother decides to keep it? What then? Would they even have it in their hearts to try again? To wait a little longer, when there are drawers full of onesies and newborn diapers already in their home?
For weeks, the same nightmare has plagued her. Standing in a hospital hallway, their path blocked by people from the adoption agency telling them to turn around. Go home. You do not get a child.
She wakes feeling emptier than ever, and wishes for the millionth time that things could be easier.
There’s so much to think about, and she can’t take it anymore. She’s scared. And there’s only one person she likes to go to when she’s scared, and he’s sleeping peacefully right behind this door.
She sighs, leaning her head up against the door frame in exhaustion. She’ll just poke her head in for a moment. Remind herself that he’s there, and he’s not going anywhere. She repeats the words he’s said to her over and over in her head like a mantra, ways he’s reassured her in the past that he’s in this for the long-haul. But for some reason, they’re hard to recall in these moments of doubt. Maybe she’d misunderstood him. Maybe she’s remembering it wrong, applying more meaning to his words than he’d intended.
Her stomach tosses and turns uncomfortably with nerves. She’ll never be able to sleep like this.
As quietly as possible, she eases the door open, a sliver of light from the hallway piercing its way into his room. He looks warm and soft, the way his face lays slack against the pillow. He’s made himself at home here. His knick knacks line the shelves, unpacked from their boxes after the move and scattered about. As she steps carefully inside, she spots a photo of them that once sat on a shelf in their office. He must have moved it here recently, part of the slow transfer of their lives out of the basement of the Hoover building. She can’t help but notice that it sits beside him on his nightstand, right next to his glasses and whatever book he’s been reading lately.
She lets out a breath, allowing the comfort he unknowingly offers to dull her senses. Just a minute longer, then she’ll go back to her room and give sleeping another shot.
Or she would have, if he hadn’t started to stir, slowly waking from his peaceful slumber. It’s almost like he’d sensed her there, some kind of psychological link that told him when she was near, and in distress. She quickly turns back to the door, hand on the door handle to open it and make her exit before he truly notices her presence, when she hears her name spoken in a confused whisper.
“Scully?”
Her shoulders slump in defeat, and her hand falls away from the doorknob.
“Sorry,” she says, turning to face him sheepishly. “I didn’t mean to wake you.”
He props himself up on an elbow, blearily rubbing sleep from his eyes with a fist.
“You okay?” he asks.
Her mouth drops open to reassure him that, yes, she’s fine, but she takes just a second too long to answer, and she knows he sees right through her. It’s not even worth lying to him.
“Come here,” he says, scooting over to make room on the bed beside him. “We can talk, if you want.”
She really shouldn’t, but his offer is tantalizing. She’s too vulnerable to be in this position, right now. Who knows what will slip from her mouth in her exhausted and overwhelmed state? Her feet carry her toward the bed anyway, and she slides into place under the covers, staring blankly up at the ceiling as he settles on his side facing her on his side of the bed.
“Can’t sleep?” he asks knowingly.
She shakes her head, her hair rustling on the pillow.
“Took me a while to get to sleep too,” he admits. “A lot to think about. A lot, a lot.”
At least she’s not alone in this problem, she guesses. She hates feeling like the insecure one in any situation, and that’s how she’s felt more often than not throughout this process so far.
“What’s keeping you up?” he asks, gently urging her to open up.
She tries to shrug, but she knows she’ll have to come up with an answer sooner or later. There’s no reason to hide this from him. Sometimes, he knows her better than she knows herself, and that can be a blessing and a curse.
“I’m going to miss working with you, Mulder,” she says honestly, her lips sealed tight to fight back the slight tremble in them. She can’t stop hearing her own words spoken by the reflecting pool a few years ago. ‘If I quit now, they win.’
She feels a hand land on her upper arm, stroking it comfortingly. Her eyes flutter shut. She can lie to herself all she wants, but this is why she really came in here. There’s a type of comfort only Mulder has ever been able to bestow, and she needs it now more than ever.
“We’ll still be in the same building,” he says appeasingly. “We can get lunch together every day, talk about our classes, complain about the new recruits.”
It’s silly, but his words do help. She imagines sitting across from him in his own private office—probably decorated a lot like their current office is—and munching on a salad while listening to him complain about an essay one of his students turned in. It sounds pleasant. Easy. Maybe he can come help decorate her office too. She’s gotten used to his clutter. She isn’t sure she’d be able to work in the sparsely furnished office space like she’s naturally inclined to.
“And besides– We’ll still see each other here,” he adds. “Every night. And the weekends.”
The thought sends a thrill through her. Sometimes it still feels like a dream, what they’re doing. Giving up the X-Files… that’s a tangible thing. But the baby? She’s still an abstract idea, despite the fact that physical reminders of their plans are scattered throughout her apartment. The picture he’d painted earlier of a relaxing day at home together feels out of reach—like a nice idea that isn’t really attainable. Is she that traumatized from all the disappointment in her life?
“Are you sure you’re ready for this?” she asks, her mouth downturned in a frown. “I mean– I know you’ve said before that this is what you want, but I—”
“You’re gonna have to learn to trust me sometime, Scully,” Mulder says, a slight sadness in his voice.
She does. She does trust him—maybe even more than she trusts herself. That’s what the problem is.
“I do,” she says. “I’m sorry. I guess I’m just…”
“Freaking out?” he finishes, smiling at her in amusement.
“Just a little,” she says, returning his smile.
He breathes in deeply, his face pensive like it always is when he's mulling over a difficult question.
“I think we’re ready,” he says, projecting confidence into his voice. “I think you’re going to be a rockstar mom, and we’ll wonder why we didn’t do this years ago.”
“You think?”
“I know.”
“But what if—”
He shakes his head, putting a stop to her words immediately. “You gotta stop that, Scully,” he says seriously. “This is going to work out.” His fingers find the dainty necklace she wears, his thumb brushing over the cross. “Have faith,” he implores.
She closes her eyes, letting out a breath, and with it, trying to release some of the fear that keeps her up at night. She wants to do what he asks, to let herself go, but it's not as easy as that. Sometimes she can't help but feel like they're trying to cheat destiny, to force things into going their way when they've been repeatedly told “no” at every turn.
His reassurance does help, though. Wasn't that why she'd come here in the first place?
Mulder settles back, turning his attention back to the ceiling.
“What did you think of the new agents?” she asks after a moment, changing the subject. It’s hard to believe that it was just this morning that they’d interviewed a few of them, hoping to find some trustworthy hands to leave their work to.
“Reyes seems sharp,” Mulder says. “I think her background in folklore and ritualistic abuse is a good starting point.”
“Mm,” Scully hums her agreement. “And what about Doggett? Too staunch of a skeptic for you?”
Mulder chuckles. “He comes highly recommended by the higher ups, so I don’t know,” he says. “It’s always good to have a variety of opinions around, though, don’t you think?”
She turns her head to the left, her eyes meeting his in the darkened room, lit only by what little moonlight comes through the blinds.
“I think… we’ll be okay,” she says then, willing the words to be true as she speaks them. Her assertion brings a smile to his face, and he leans back on the pillow, focusing on the patterns on the ceiling like she had been a moment earlier.
“We will,” he agrees. “For once, I think we’ll be better than okay.”

A grundo neopet review, perhaps? For the soul?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Grundo are somewhat under-appreciated in my experience, which is a shame, because I really like them. They occupy a specific niche in Neopets, being the only alien species (save for Aishas, but they seem to be related to aliens rather than just straight-up being aliens) and serving an important role in many of the original Virtupets-based plots.
Their designs are nothing fancy, just being monocolor (save for their eyes, which are often though not always red) and lacking any noticeable markings. However, their solid-color eyes, fairly rare among Neopets, pop really nicely, and their ears have this really nice doubled-tube shape that is one of the most memorable things about them. They're pretty cute looking overall, and I really like the facial anatomy on these guys, which is almost frog-like in a weird way.
Tumblr media
Grundos also faired really well when it comes to customization, in that they're exactly the same save for some standard unification stuff like shading adjustments. The bad news is that they were saddled with not one but two fists, but the good news is that they look at least somewhat natural and it's not like their hands were ever particularly well-drawn to begin with.
Favorite Colours:
Tumblr media
Transparent: Transparent is usually a pretty good-looking color by default, but the transparent Grundo goes the extra mile by embracing their alien nature and giving them these really cool looking glowing green organs, the only pet to get this treatment. The organs go great with the pale blue body color, and most of the anatomy looks solid. Granted, I'm not totally sure if the ears would have bones in them or not, and the ribs don't actually connect to anything... but then again, you can always say that's just because they're an alien and move on.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Faerie: Solid-colored faerie pets are usually a miss for me, as they often just look like regular pets but with wings. The faerie Grundo, however, is abosolutely beautiful. The dark blue base with cyan eyes and toenails is unique (or at least it was until the stealthy Grundo came out, but I digress), and the dark color helps cover for how plain the body is. Most importantly, though, are the wings, which are designed to look like the night sky. It's a great nod to the Grundo's space origins and is super different than the standard faerie fair (say that five times fast).
A UC/styled version is available, though the design changed so little that the differences are pretty negligible.
Tumblr media
Woodland: I literally just went over this one in my woodland review so I'll keep this brief, but the woodland Grundo is super pretty. The leaf ears are absolutely perfect and the subtle gradient and leaf-like veins over the body are lovely.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
BONUS: It's always neat when pets get a species-specific color. In all honestly I have no idea why the mallow Grundo exists because there seems to be no rationale behind it and Grundos don't usually get food colours (unlike, say, Chias), but hey, I'll take it; its fun and silly.
Strictly speaking the UC/styled version is better because it looks way more marshmallow-y, but there's something just deeply uncanny about the face that I can't place but I really don't care for.
