Was it slight? Yes, but as the capper to three weeks of that good good content I can’t bring myself to complain too much, and there’s still quite a bit there. We got Tim and Kon holding hands, we got Bart gripping that brain cell tight for a good seven pages or so, we got Cass getting to take her rightful place as the Batfam’s preeminent fuck-sayer, we got the implication of Tim getting a new nemesis, we got Tim finally settling things with Steph in a satisfactory way, we got Bernard finally starting to meet people in Tim’s life for the first time since 2004, and we got the greatest exchange in this relationship’s brief history thus far:

....mmmm....
So. Just got the DC Pride: Tim Drake Special.
........I don’t think this “talk” between Tim and Steph was particularly well-written. It’s kind of a garbled mess, actually.
...”I just realized... it wasn’t because of your gender, you know? I don’t only like girls.”
What the fuck are you SAYING, Tim? I feel like that was supposed to say “I don’t only like boys,” as in confirming he’s bisexual and that he wasn’t breaking up with her because he’s gay. “I don’t only like girls” makes no sense in that context, Tim, she knows... you have a boyfriend now, she knows?
“You have always been exactly what I wanted and more” - motherfucker, then why did you break up? Now, y’all know I actively dislike the Tim and Steph ship, but he’s not presenting a logical reason for why they ended things. Tim, you can be bi and keep dating the girl you’re in love with, what the fuck?
This scene honestly feels like it’s designed for Tim coming out as GAY - the classic Last Het Romance where he realizes “damn, she’s so perfect for me, why aren’t I physically attracted to her? *rainbow sirens*” that turns into a big gay awakening and usually ends with amicable hetero exes.
If Tim is bi and everything is fine and dandy and perfect in his relationship to Steph, his bisexual awakening really shouldn’t have broken them up.
But they’re too cowardly to give them relationship problems - or to awknoledge the problems they do have, or have had in the past now that their memories of former timelines are returning. And sure, some people just fall out of love, but then SAY THAT. She’s taking this WAY TOO WELL - “hi, sorry, you’re wonderful and perfect for me, but I wasn’t what you expected, there’s more to me than I thought there was... no, I’m still completely attracted to you emotionally and physically, I’m just breaking up with you anyway because... uuuuuh... I dunno, man, I wanted to try dick, i guess, lmao, come meet my new boyfriend who I’ve known for way less time than you and was a total asshole in high school.” “lmao, okay! this is the best day ever!”
What the fuck?
They’re trying to have their cake and eat it too. They’re trying to leave room for Tim to be attracted to Steph AND give them a totally drama-free no-fault break up. It doesn’t work for me.
Just give them a reason, it’s not like they’ve never had relationship issues, it’s not like they’ve never broken up before. One single half-decent reason, and the whole story would be drastically improved.

Also, the final order cutoff for preordering the DC Pride Tim Drake Special from tfaw.com is on May 15, so if you’re thinking of preordering from there, now’s a good time. Getting lots of preorders will let DC know we like queer Tim content/queer DC characters in general, and support the creators involved in the project! It’s at a lower price, too.
