"What was so important that you had to pull me from my conversation?" you question, annoyed, and he smiles at you.

"Yeah, it totally looked like you were enjoying that little chat." You roll your eyes as he takes your cup out of your hand, setting it on his dresser. "How much have you had?"

You frown at him. "To drink? Not enough because it's difficult to have a conversation with you sober."

He chuckles lightly as he walks closer to you until your knees hit the bed. "Can I say something?" he asks, and you try to act like his close proximity isn't bothering you.

"If it'll make this end sooner."

jokes aside (god knows this isn’t a joke though), i think derby is secretly a big nerd

he probably spends a lot of time analyzing old historical literature and artwork, or even studying french (since it’s canon that he knows at least a little bit due to his voice lines)

and while those things seem all fancy and rich and cool, it’s still,,,, SUPER nerdy

and derby definitely knows this, oh of course he does

but he hides behind the prestige of it all in order to cover his ass smh

huh it’s weird how the arts used to be so heavily associated with wealthy culture AKDJSKDKD now all creative people are just gay and depressed

which,, derby fits into the categories of

he’s probably a day drinker too ❤️

bif:

bif has no personality outside of being a boxer. he is, sadly, a one trick pony.

OKAY but to not do bif any injustice, i will say that he is 100% the type of person to have a little backyard garden that is essentially his child

he’d name his plants, set up watering schedules, talk to them about his day and the latest bullshit derby has put him through, play music for them

shopping. his hobby is shopping.

i know that tad baking was only mentioned in one singular voice line but GOD how did rockstar ever expect me to NOT latch onto that voice line for the rest of my life

he probably hid his interest since,,, he got into baking in order not to get teased

and he 100% stopped baking after the Pitchfork Incident

but i like to think that at one point he opens up about it even if it isn’t anytime soon, or even fit for his canonical personality

also this isn’t exactly a hobby but tad is the type of person to fold laundry when he gets sad

parker:

i feel like parker would be into real soft domestic shit, like crocheting and sewing

he probably makes little sweaters for the gnomes at the harrington house

or maybe even little stuffed animals for himself

one year he made all the preps matching mittens and everyone wore it for the entirety of winter in order to not hurt parker’s feelings

chad:

chad is one of the preps who has canonical hobbies outside of boxing, so we got got some starting ground woohoo

so canonically, chad boxes and takes flute lessons, and then he used to be apart of the glee club and he used to run track

we also know that the scar on his cheek is from fencing, so yeah we can assume that he fences

(or used to fence, since i HC that chad quit after he got his scar)

look at my boy being so multitalented omg i love him

as i have said before, and will ALWAYS repeat, i think chad is a completionist

he likes to try everything at least once, and so i think he has a lot of skills and hobbies that he does on the side

he’s the type of person that gets stressed if he has too much free time LMAO he constantly needs to be doing something

justin:

justin fucking does SPORTS for FUN

he canonically boxes and swims, but he probably does,,,, other,,,,, sports,,,,,,,,

uhhh what are. sports

HAHA okay okay but he probably plays tennis, lacrosse, golf, maybe he even does archery

justin would do those rich boy type of sports, the ones that have prestige and make him seem all cool and fancy

i think that he’s is similar to chad in the sense that they both need something to keep them busy and occupied since they don’t like having too much free time

and to fill up his time, justin does a lot of hobbies that involve physical activity which is valid

bryce:

he watches a lot of movies/tv shows in his free time

he probably listens to a bunch of audio books too lmao

it’s a good way to escape reality and are all good forms of media that keep bryce entertained yet not too distracted

he canonically works at boat & yacht which is,,, a yacht club LMAOO it’s in the name, but with bryce just being a high schooler, i really doubt he’s doing any high ranking special job

so he’s probably just stuck with working the front desk or working as a server/water

(or a caddie if boat & yacht is also a country club; a caddie is someone who carries around a golfer’s clubs and sometimes they help with other things)

so he has a lot of time to watch/listen to things as he works his job!!

pinky:

she owns a blog where she trashes on people at bullworth and rants about her life

she would be totally dedicated to it LMAOOO she’s the 2000s equivalent of those dumb tea spilling accounts

oh and the 2000s equivalent of vloggers

pinky also loves doing nails and like gord, forces the preps to sit down through hours of home nail care and spa days

imagine the preps with all these colorful nail colors,,,, they said screw toxic masculinity

(i don't know why i'm telling you this but for boy names i love Liam🥰 and if i had twin boys i think i would do Liam and Peter though i am not married to the name Peter.... anywho)

i used to be one of the people who‘d just do motherlode motherlode motherlode and just... what did i do? Why did i do that??? But not anymore lol. TWILIGHT BLOOD

the only reason i downloaded this game was uhhh hot guys. the story was mediocre tbh. no voice acting. relies too much on sexy scenes with was fun at the first few chapters but then eh :// also if u wanna be a f2p it sucks coz they practically force u to pay to move on with the story and yeah....not worth it. 2/10

Love Story of Share House

made by HUNEX.CO, the games about mc moving to a share house with a bunch of hot dudes. The DreamTM. no voice acting but the characters are bearable. ive played the meganes route because thats who i am as a person and mr moustache man. latters route was okay. the story does have smutty elements so that surprised me tbh hahahha. its okay imo and u can be f2p to finish each route :) 4/10

My Horse Prince

can you BELIEVE this game got better ranks than the previous two??? its about mc wooing a horse. with a mans head. horses body. i cannot simplify this enough. the reason it beating the 2 games before is because it made me lose my shit SO MUCH i remembered tears coming out of my eyes coz this game is a fcking ride. mc has 1 braincell and its for the sexy horse man. f2p and im thankful for that. no voice acting and honestly im glad it doesnt. 5/10

Hatoful Boyfriend

a classic game. no voice acting. there ARE gijinkas and drama cds however outside of the main game. in the main game u get to date pigeons. actual pigeons. i believe this game was unironically enjoyable like 10-15 years ago. dont be fooled by the pigeons. some of their routes can be EMOTIONALLY NASTY. i cried at one of the pigeons. i lost sleep but its what i deserve. 5/10

Hakuoki

my first ever dating sim game!! hence the 3ds picture. full voice acting. it was p enjoyable and while i know the steam version covers most of what the 3ds lacks, i love playing the routes and this was the first game tht traumatized me at the sight of a bad end. sadly not a fan of the canon route despite me loving stoic emotionally guarded characters. i do enjoy the other routes and okita souji has my heart and soul i love and hate him. 6/10

Ephemeral

another game by HUNEX.CO. compared to the share house game, i ADORE this one. its surprisingly a sweet mobile otome game! f2p friendly! no voice acting, but they make it up with the story and characters. basically u got tsundere wolf. baby invisible man. yandere mummy. bastard but then gets soft to you vampire. guess who i love in the end. also sidenote the reason this gets higher ranks is the vampires routes alone (they have dating route AND lovers route all in one game) and also the invisible mans route broke me as a person. i hate it. so much. oh my god. 7/10

Amnesia

my second otomate/aksys game! when i found it its sold in google store i legit bought it and left my assignments to play flksdnfjdbf. full voice acting. VERY interesting stories. v intense stories too so its not fun playing at night lol sometimes. all the characters are loveable to each players ref. some of the routes do irk me which sucks coz i have to finish all in order to unlock the canon route. i DO love the canon character so its fine. this game is the game that introduced me to fear in a form of a toma. 8/10

Code: Realize

HONESTLY A GAME WHERE I LIKE ALL THE CHARACTERS LMAOOO!! all the routes are great and the full voice acting has me scream. a lot. also they have A LOT of post stories that are released internationally so it makes me love the characters (saint-germain) even more. i believe this is the game that actually made me love the yandere. so i gotta give kudos to that. the canon route is really lovable! the stories can be a mix of cute and angst so its a wild ride when i played it ;w;b 9/10

Ikemen Sengoku

honestly one of my fav and long-running mobile otome game!! the game is f2p but you need to be veeery patient to finish one route (in my case i sometimes am patient. other times im not). partially voiced. the best thing about this game is THERE IS A LOT OF CHOICES LMAOO n youre not obligated to do a route of a character youre not too keen. the characters are both lovable and stupid. the mc has 1 braincell and shes using it to helps these hot morons. sugitan is there. bfkdjbfdkj also the stories are smutty and its so goood i remembered screaming a lot. their stories range from funny to sad to angsty to romantic its a roller coaster ride. 9/10

Collar x Malice

i LOVE all the characters. i LOVE all the routes. i even love the villain of this series. which is why it gets number 2 in my book. the stories can get intense but when the cute romantic funny parts hit it hits you off guard and it just makes u laugh or scream or cry or all in 1. im a big kaji yuki fan so to finally get to play a game where kaji yukis character is in it just earns this game a top spot in my heart. a very special spot too considering his character is my fav character and route hehehhe! its sequel is coming out (n im getting it tmrrw eyy). love it so much! and the canon character is easily my 2nd fav character too! 10/10

Mystic Messenger

this game easily ruined my sleep schedule. at one point my body automatically woke up at 3 am at the single sound of a beep EVERY TIME. just to text some fictional characters. i even got out of class once to respond to jumins call. i hate this game. the games gameplay is so unique and fun and all the characters are very VERY lovable. i love all the characters and their routes. while the voice acting happens during certain cgs (full voice in all scenes in vs and saerans routes) it redeems itself with the amazing voice calls. i laughed A LOT whole playing this game. its absolutely amazing. did you know that i bawled in saerans route? bawled? as in cried in absolute anguish and sobbed nonstop? and stared at the blank screen????????? once in front of my own mother and again alone in the darkness of my own room? my heart was shattered in pieces and it literally felt as if the love of my life is gone for good. 11/10

hii I hope this is ok to ask but do u have any advice? on telling if ur trans or if it’s just an alter with a diff gender, or both? also I have dissociation, trauma, memory gaps, and changes in my opinions/gender/personally,, but no communication with alters ,,I kno nothing abt them if they exist? They won’t introduce themselves to me :(... I just know that I connect deeply with a few characters, soemtimes feeling like I Am Them- and sometimes my mannerisms/personality/behavior changes where I feel more powerful/fancy/confident ,, or childlike etc and soemtimes connected(not just relating) to a specific character ,, that’s not like me lol,, I’m very differnt than that ! but I can still ask myself who I am and say “I’m birth name! But I feel more like character/a different person” but my thought process is unlike me :o ... and I get these internal monologue/thoughts that are not things I wanna think or agree with and I try to talk over them but they just keep talking .. but I think that’s probably just intrusive thoughts, cld be alters talking it tho? but I never thought that I rlly hear voices - and I try to ask in my head if anyone else is there but I’m afraid to do so bc I’m scared I will unconsciously answer for them/fake an answer so idk what to do - I’ve tried journaling and no response ,, do u have any advice on figuring out if u have alters and how to learn more about them specifically? so yeah first off like ill always say im not a professional etc etc and i recommend you seek therapy for this either way, but for sure talk to a therapist abt whether or not ur a system !

BUT ANYWAYS! it’s normal to struggle to communicate w alters - and even then the inner dialogue/intrusive thoughts you’re talking abt sound a lot like having alters. i didnt find out abt my system until one (1) alter decided he was gonna talk to me bc everyone else purposefully didnt. i still cant talk to most of em lol. so on that front, that’s not an uncommon experience.

and neither are gender struggles!! ive thought i was everything under the sun and found out it was just other alters lmao. it’s possible youre just having normal gender confusion, ofc, and ofc it could be both, etc. (can you tell im bad at giving advice?) but yes that was also my experience!

and its also normal to feel blurred w your alters and unsure who u are which sounds like what youre describing! but yknow as usual, disclaimer, it could also be any of a number of other mental issues.

and i HELLA feel the “what if i unconsciously answer” thing but i promise you you can tell the difference. from personal experience. lmao

also idk much abt kin so fuck if i know abt “kin shifting” all my “kins” turned out to be fictives OOP

IN SUMMARY you rly cant force alters to talk to you, just like you cant force any “normal” person to talk to you, if u have em theyll make themselves known when theyre ready/when they think youre ready. its a covert disorder and youre not rly sposed to know abt it either, but obvs we all figure it out eventually lmaoo. once again you should talk to a professional to confirm but yes, what you’re describing sounds very familiar to me. hope i could help. <3
