another week of the semester down , and t'were it not for the fact i am tasked to hand in analytical essays each week + a draft for a full 12-15 page research paper , i might indulge being here more. as always , my apologies for the silence ( but i do admit it is due in part to a sense of ambivalence / lack of connection ) .
my one funny tidbit from the last couple weeks was that my professor made the mistake of handing me an ACTUAL COPY of the DSM-5 and i was reduced to a mess of whimsy and wonder ; did i horde the book the whole lecture ? did i pog in real life when she handed it to me ? yes , of COURSE i did. that text is the holy grail to me , and i could cave in a man's skull with the force of the empirical knowledge it contains 😤

I'm so glad you're doing well!
Could I perhaps ask for Damon and his darling nerd? Maybe something really good happens to her that she's excited about and when she tells Damon about it, she hugs him without thinking because of how happy she is. I'd imagine him getting drunk off of the physical contact and just wanting more
Yandere! Jock x Honor student! fem! reader everyday tidbits: achievements
Tumblr media
Damon was nervous.
He's rarely nervous.
And, the fact that he's nervous for another person is weirder.
But, at least he's nervous for you. That made it more excusable as he watched you from afar on the bleachers, biting his nail while praying to whoever God that still didn't give up on him.
Sweat riddling down his temple, he watched as you raised your whiteboard with the words "300 to 3,000 Mega Hertz". Your eyes focused on the screen projector up above the University stage, with the question reading "What range of frequencies are usually referred to as the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Band?"
It was your University's Intramurals week, with today being the Academic night. You were assigned to be the representative of your college's individual science quiz bowl, and that meant that Damon didn't get to have that much tutoring off of you.
Other than being pissed that you just had to join the quiz bowl, he felt somehow proud. You, the academic genius, the introverted yet blunt student of the Education department, is in a competition in front of such a huge crowd like this? It was unbelievable.
And yet, his unfounded jealousy trickled down his spine when the people cheered for you once the proctor beside you raised the green flag, signaling you got the right answer.
He may be cheering for you, but others are too. Just thinking about how other people can see your brilliance other than him was boiling his blood under his skin.
"One more round..." He whispered, gripping his fist. "Just one more, and she's for my eyes, and my eyes only once again."
His muttering scared his friend beside him, not used to seeing Damon so... ??? What is Damon's face projecting? He doesn't know. It was foreign to him.
Damon's heart jumped once he realized it was the last round. This is it.
The projector flashed once more, with the last item of the hard round. If you got this, then you'll be the champion of the individual science quiz bowl. If not...
"Which prefix is often used with scientific terms to indicate that something is the same, equal or constant?"
Hmm? Why did language studies came here?
Anxiety riddled his body for you.
What is it?
Whispers got out on the surrounding stadium and from the bleachers, wondering what the answers are. Some students are trying to mouth the answers to their representatives, but to no avail.
He found himself clasping his hands together, eyes wide as he leaned forward and bit his tongue.
"Come on, y/n... You know this... Wait? Do you? Whatever...." He whispered under his breath, watching you turn the gears click and clack on your pretty head.
Then, your hand started to move on the whiteboard you're holding.
As the timer ran out, you put your marker down with a shaky breath and an unsure frown, making your college groan in defeat.
Damon almost lunged at them. How dare they? How can they not believe in you, sighing in defeat-- do they not know it affects your morals too?
As murder plays on his mind, the projector flashed, showing the answer.
"iso"
His breath hitched, watching you put up your whiteboard marker.
iso
"OH MY GOD!"
"YES!"
"LET'S GOOOO!!"
"LET'S GO EDUCATORS LET'S GO!"
As the College cheer and the defeaning beat of the drums wafted from the bleachers, your eyes widened in delight, covering your mouth from disbelief. You actually got that right?!
Damon was suddenly buzzing with energy. His eyes wide, mouth a small "o". He stood up, and as if time stood in a slowmo, he vaulted over seats, and down from the bleachers. Ignoring the shot of pain on his feet, he ran through the barriers and ran past shocked people.
But before he could scoop you up in a hug, your eyes found his and with a huge grin, you ran to him and embraced him first.
Your soft body on his hard one, your arms giddily wrapped around his neck, your head buried on his shoulder.
He froze, not knowing what to do.
"I-I did it! Damon I did it!" You giddily whispered. Your voice, usually laced with shyness and a bit of ridicule, was full of elation and happiness. You felt so light, free from the pressure that you were placing on yourself. Tears of happiness trickled down your cheeks.
Damon trembled. His senses were overwhelmed with yours. Your scent, your body, your warmth... It was too much.
His arms shakily wound around you, gripping you tightly as his nose buried on your neck, inhaling your scent and calming down.
He can't be too worked up. After all, he's in front of countless people.
He reluctantly let go of you, wiping your tears away from your cheeks.
"I'm so proud of you, y/n." He whispered, eyes filled with so much affection that even your blindness to his advances got shunned away for a bit, making your heart race.
"Thank you, Damon..."
Meanwhile, everyone at your college were shocked, and other students let out high pitched coo's and aw's, thinking that you and Damon are together.
"What the fuck? Damon?" His friend was bewildered. Sure, he knew that Damon had the hots for you. But this?
It was too cheesy for him. Blegh.
Sure, maybe Damon took advantage of the crowd, vaulting over people to hug you and make it seem that both of you are dating. Will he deny it? Nah. Maybe even vaguely insinuating and egging these people to believe more.
At the very least, with him being your "boyfriend" nobody will try to snatch you away from him now that people saw your brilliance.
And as he buried his face on hair once more and spun you around happily, he knew the next few days and weeks will be one hell of a ride.

Hello Again!
I loved what you did with the Hacker idea! Thank you so much!
Here is another suggestion, if you are interested.
Vox has those large Sharks in that tank we saw in Episode Two, unsure if you're aware of Vox's Pet land-shark Vark from the old Instergram Hazbin accounts, but it's clear our TV headed Demon loves Sharks.
So what if Vox has a partner who's a Shark Sinner or a Sinner at least with a Shark tail and Fins.
Would he keep them like a Doll/Pet?
Would he just adore them and let them get away with things that the other Vs would get mad about?
I'd love to see your take on this idea, but perfectly fine if this isn't something you wanna tackle.
Thanks!
Fellow Vox Simp 🦈
I imagine he infodumps about sharks to Valentino or Velvette all the time. He’ll spam them with pictures of sharks. Middle of the day? Sharks. Middle of the night? Sharks. Important meeting? Sharks. When he takes a day off (which is practically never) it’s likely spent with his sharks. And it’s adorable.
Tumblr media
I imagine he would see a Shark Sinner and endlessly gush over them. He somehow drags them to V tower and hires them to do the taxes on the spot. He thinks it’s hilarious. He doesn’t actually make them do taxes, but they do have to stay at V tower with him. Also, if they tried to steal money or something and Val noticed? Well, we all know Val has a temper and would beat you up for tax evasion and post it as asmr to fall asleep to. Vox would easily stop that from happening.
If he has no romantic interest in you? Depending on his level respect for you, he’ll break out the adoption papers. Immediately. Congrats! You’ve got a new dad. And at least three shark siblings. Same vibes as Loona and Blitzø tbh.
In the case that he treats you more like a pet, you’ll be reprimanded and punished. You get special treatment, but you’re no stranger to his mood swings or his darker side. He doesn’t take you seriously, probably doesn’t care about how you feel. You’re not allowed to do much of anything without his permission. He’s still very sweet and loving, he’s just more… unintentionally condescending at times. He’ll coax a smile out of you with a present or your favorite meal, but he doesn’t hold much respect for you if he takes out the pet adoption papers.
If he takes out normal adoption papers? Congrats! You’ve already been written into his will for if he ever dies again, you’re loaded with cash. You can do no wrong in his book. He’ll protect you from everyone else and you’ll only get in trouble when you mess something up for him, specifically. Anything else you get in trouble for, he’ll bail you out. You get to go shopping and put with friends all the time- he interrogates them first, though. Classic dad energy.
Either way, expect a lot of pictures of you to be posted to his social media and texted to Val and Vel.
I imagine that since he genuinely loves sharks, he’d be way more loving towards a Shark Sinner significant other, probably showering them with compliments. Always giving hugs and kisses, spends so much time with them, it’s adorable. There’s be zero (or very little) manipulation and toxicity, it’s all wholesome vibes and fun.
You’d get the princess treatment, tons of gifts. He comes home with flower all the time, and is always replacing the dead ones. He touches your tail. A lot. Probably asks a bunch of questions about it too.
“How many teeth do you have? Do they grow back? Can you produce teeth on demand??? How does your tail impact your swimming? What do you mean there’s no beach in the pride ring of hell, fuck it, I’ll make one! Science can’t be stopped!”
Somehow he’d end up forgetting what he was asking about, and he’d just end up endlessly complimenting you. Admiring your gills, fins, tail, teeth, eyes, everything.
I think he’d actually be very sweet if he met a Shark Sinner, no matter the case!

MHA Mezo Shoji x Reader - Make Believe - I
Summary: You ask Shoji to pretend to be your boyfriend for a dinner with your parents.
Warnings: fluff, fake dating trope, long/multi parted, not proofread
Tumblr media
Glancing down at your watch, you fidgetted nervously, standing in the hall awkwardly. 'He's usually on his way to lunch by now,' you thought to yourself, scanning the hordes of students for a particular person. Suddenly, your eyes fell on a messy head of silver hair and your interest piqued. Booking it through the crowd, you finally found who you were looking for. "Shoji!" you chirped, stopping so short in front of him that you nearly smashed into him. "I've been looking all over for you!"
"Oh, sorry," he replied nonchalantly, beginning to walk with you to the lunch room. "Didn't mean to be so hard to find."
"It's okay," you reassured him. "I noticed you weren't in class today and I was worried," you admitted, going alongside him with your hands knotted together behind your back.
"Sorry to worry you," he said, finding a table and sitting down. "I was in the support classroom all morning getting my costume redone." He explained, rummaging through his bag. "Did I miss anything important?"
"You missed a pop quiz in Mic's class, but it's super easy. Oh and you missed a lecture on quirk evolution in science but don't worry," you beamed, producing a packet of papers from your own bag. "I took the liberty of taking extra notes on your behalf!"
Shoji took the notes from you, skimming through them. There were multiple pages, all front and back filled with neat color-coded writing, organized with bullet points. "Wow, these are pretty thorough, this isn't your copy is it?"He asked, still rummaging through his bag with an annoyed sigh.
"Nope!" you chirped, pulling out an identical set of papers. "What are you looking for, by the way?"
Shoji glanced up at you before looking back into his bag. "Oh, just my lunch. Must've forgotten it back in my dorm."
"Today's your lucky day then," you giggle, pulling two bentos out of your bag and handing him one. "I made you lunch!"
He hesitantly took it, eyeing you closely. "What's with you today, why're you being so niced to me?"n he asked suspiciously, poping off the top of the box.
You blushed, averting your gaze quickly, trying to think of an excuse. "What, aren't I always nice to you, Shoji?"
"Well, yeah," he admitted. "But it seems like you're sucking up for something." He punctuated his point by digging a pair of chopsticks into the portion of rice you'd made him before popping it in his mouth. "Damn, this is good, actually."
"Shoji! Did you expect it to be bad?" you ask, feigning hurt. "And thinking I'd be nice to you just to get something in return is honestly just mean!"
"Okay, okay, fine, I'm sorry, thank you for the notes and lunch." He finally relented, throwing his hands up in defense. "How can I repay you?"
"Well..." you begin sheepishly. "There is this one thing-"
"Ah-hah!" Shoji laughed, tossing you a side glare as he ate. "I knew you wanted something." He watched as the blood rushed to your cheeks and you tried to back peddle, beginning to ramble. "C'mon, just spit it out already, what do you need?"
"Would you come home with me to have dinner with my parents tonight?' you finally blurted after beating around the bush.
"What, why me?" he asked, bewildered. "I mean we're good friends and all but wouldn't you rather take a closer friend like Tsu or Ochacko?"
"Well...about that...I was hoping you could...pretend to be my boyfriend?" you ask bashfully, wincing in preparation for rejection.
"Are you serious?" he asked, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"I-It's just that, it's my grandmother's birthday and she's sick and we don't think she'll be around much longer. She really wants to see me with someone and I don't want to let her down!" you rambled on, pleading. "Please, Shoji, I promise it's just for the night and I'll do whatever you ask to make it up to you!"
After a moment, he sighed, annoyed. "You already told her you were bringing someone, didn't you?" You nodded, hands clasped together as if praying. "Oh, fine, alright!" he scoffed. "But you owe me."
Gasp, you squeal in delight, throwing your arms around his neck and snuggling into his torso in an awkward but meaningful hug. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!"
"Whatever," he groaned, rolling his eyes, but wrapping you up in his arms all the same. "What time are we leaving?"
"The train leaves at 5:15." you replied as he released you. "So meet me at the station at 5."
"Sounds like a plan."

my small heart, for big love.
Feminine reader x matt sturniolo
Warnings: anxiety, fluff, kissing, 1st person.
Summary: you and Matt have been dating for 3 months, it's coming up to be your 4 month anniversary. Something happens between you and Chris, will it change your perspective of you and Matt?
A/n: please dm me if you have any ideas you want me to write, and I enjoyed writing this! :)
I woke up, the sun shining on my face. My head was layed on Matt's head; I could hear his heart beat going smoothly and steady. He was awake before me like always. I look up at him and smiled, as I snuggle into him more, wrapping us in the warm duvet.
"I never want to leave." Matt says, rubbing my head and playing with my hair. He would always say this in the morning, and it would still make me blush.
"Do you want my hoodie again y/n?" Matt asks, blushing and laughing. I laugh along with him and nod my head. He gets up slowly and grabs a black and green dinosaur printed one. I put it on over my pajamas and we hold hands and go downstairs.
"Morning guys." Nick smiles at us whilst ording our breakfast from McDonald's.
"Goodmorning." I say to Nick, giving him a thank you afterwards. Yet again, I'd try to pay but he'd always reply with 'no way, this is my treat'.
Down comes Chris, he looks like he had a rough night.
"Did you get any sleep Chris?" I ask his, whilst hugging onto Matt. He'd answer with a groan. Definitely not.
"So, y/n, still up for today?" Matt asks me, booping my nose. I give him a smile and a nod as he kisses me on the cheek.
"Single lonely people over here! Take it to somewhere we both can't get jealous!" Nick laughs and so does Chris. I can hear Matt giggling in my ear as he twirls my hair.
"I'm gonna go get ready, okay?" I go up the stairs, putting my hands out like I'm going to miss him, even though I'll probably see him in a minute.
I get dressed in a pink, floral dress. I pair it with some white sandals and a cute white bag. Then I do my hair; curl it, put a hair band in it, and a matching bow to the dress. Then I hear a knock.
"It's me, Chris." Chris says, still sounding like he's been awake for a year.
"Come in!" I say, packing away my hair pins and the straightners.
"Woah... I meant to say Matt went out for a bit, something to do with Madi." Chris scratches his head still admiring me.
"I'm dating your brother Chris, no need to stare." I say, rolling my eyes. He gives an awkward laugh, as he walks closer to me.
"Matt said he'll be 2 ish hours... " he looked at me sad. I look at him a frown.
"Oh, so im guessing we aren't going out then... " I sit down, looking at myself in the vanity mirror, packing away some makeup.
"Well maybe you and me can go out... As friends?" He asks, trying to reassure me that my hard work didn't go in for nothing.
"Sure, I'd like that." I say, turning back to look at him and giving him a smile.
*1 hour later*
Messages:
Matt: hey y/n I'm so sorry, madi needs me to stay the night, she needs help with this stupid science assignment. we can definitely do something tomorrow.
Y/n: oh okay, me and chris are going out anyways to make this day a bit more exciting, have fun with stupid science!
Matt: i mean we'll try, and have fun with chris!
Y/n: i will :)
Another knock again. I put my phone down and open the door. There stands Chris. He's actually done something with his hair for once. It looks nice...
"Ready to go out?" Chris asks, still admiring me.
"Yeah, and remember, I have a boyfriend who's your brother, and it isn't the gay one!" I say, laughing again. He does his little head scratch and gives a nervous laugh. I grab my bag and we go.
I have no clue where he's taking me, or for how long.
"We're here!" Chris looks impressed with himself. He's brought me to a secret part of the beach, you could see the sunset perfectly.
"Wow..." I say, admiring the sunset like Chris once admired me. Our hands brush past each other. His pinky, interlocked with mine, causing us to end up holding hands. He then spins me round and I turn to face him, holding his other hand. We look deeply into eachothers eyes. I completely forget about Matt.
*ting*
It's my phone. I let go of Chris and go to my phone.
Messages:
Matt: hey gorgeous, coming home now since we've finished it already, meet at the beach? x
Y/n: yay! yeah, I'll wait there. x
"That was Matt. He's coming back home now, he wants to meet me at the beach as well... Just me." I look down, trying not to maintain any eye contact from what just have happened.
"Okay, thanks for a nice time..." I can tell Chris is hurt by the tone of his voice. I have to tell Matt what happened.
*30 minutes later*
"Y/n!" Matt come running up behind me, hugging me from behind and spinning me in the air. I gave a huge smile, but my eyes caught something. Chris, he was looking at us through the window with a worried face.
"How was your little friend date with chris?" Matt asks, looking at me all cute.
"It was... Good!" Dammit. I need to tell him somehow.
A few minutes go by and were sat on the beach.
"Matt... I need to talk to you about something." I say, anxiety filling my body, causing my hands to shake with fear.
"Yeah?" He looks at me like he knows something is wrong.
"When me and Chris had our little walk on the beach together... We, well. We almost kissed." I say, looking away.
"Oh?" Oh? Is that it? There's no defensiveness in oh. I nod at him, my eyes filling with tears.
"Hey it's okay y/n, mistakes happen. It's not like you meant it. And you know how my brother is, he can get jealous sometimes. And I don't have to talk to him if you don't want me to." Matt pulls me in and hugs me tight, tears flowing from my face. I let a very stuttered 'are you sure' and he nods silently.
"I love you." Matt hasn't said that yet. Like ever before. I stop crying and get out of hugging. We look at each other, deeply in each other's eyes.
"I love you too..." I say, smiling at him, still shaking from what's just happened. He leans in and wipes my tears away, then he gently pushed my hair behind my ear. We share a kiss under the moonlight. But still in the corner of my eye, I see Chris in his window still watching...
Thank you for reading! Let me know if you want a part 2 to the story, and please dm me if you have any ideas for another upcoming story!! 💗

I Wish I'd Found the Randy Cunningham Ninth Grade Ninja Fandom
I LOVED that show when it was first coming out. I thought it was just a ton of fun and that characters like Viceroy and Mcfist were genuinely amazing takes on their archtypes. Admittedly, Randy and Howard are entirely classic to me since I grew up with stuff like Danny Phantom and Kim Possible but...
None of you probably know what I'm talking about.
Okay, so a bit over a decade ago now, Disney had a show called Randy Cunningham: Ninth Grade Ninja. The premise was actually kind of Sailor Moon S1 in with half of its villain group. The Ninja exists to oppose the Sorcerer, trapped below the town. The Sorcerer feeds on misery and can corrupt people who are vulnerable through items and the like that they hold dear, turning them into monsters who are usually beat either by destroying the object or convincing the person to give up their grievance.
The other half of the main villains (it had a lot of side villains too of course) were the duo of McFist and Viceroy. They employed a lot of robots, mutants, etc. because, well, McFist was so rich as to practicallly own the town and be beloved by all (Think Lex Luthor but bad at hiding it and really shouty) and Viceroy was literally his on staff MAD SCIENTIST! He even graduated second in his year from a mad science university. Or first. Can't remember despite it being a plot point for an episode when a skeleton that the science teacher is... Married to I think? Comes back to life and tries to finish his graduation project that would have made him Valedictorian: A Doomsday Device. After all, if you blow the world, you are indeed the greatest evil scientist apparently.
The show was pretty classic in how it was structured and played thing and when I say classic, I mean it. It had a moral of the episode format, usually taught through ancient ninja rhyme through the book that gave Randy, the main character, his powers: The Ninjanomicon which is a great name. It would also be what helped grant him various ninja tools to beat bad guys, though his main weapon was the ever changing length scarf he had and a sick ass sword.
The show also had a good sense of humor about what it was though. Like the first episode's lesson from the book is that the greatest weapon is within the suit. When Randy gets his ass kicked, he believes it must be trying to tell him to believe in himself, draw in deep and OPE NOPE! It means there's a sword in the suit! Time to get to slicing and dicing!
The downfall of the show for me was the same thing that makes me actually surprised it didn't stick around longer than it did (besides Disney being honestly pretty stingy with seasons for the past decade for its shows): It being formulaic. Eventually, I did get tired of seeing Randy making similar mistakes or do things that felt like he should have outgrown. Sure, his best friend Howard rarely if ever changed and that could pull him down but it still eventually stopped feeling right. The episode that snapped it for me was when Julian (I can't believe I remember his name), the wanna be magician of the school went full supervillain and got real magical powers. It was a neat turn... Predicated on Howard and Randy being complete assholes to someone they'd at least once or twice called friend.
And that is what the real shame of the show for me was. There was a lot you could actually read into and say about the eb and flow of relationships and sometimes even the show had great fun with it. One episode in particular that I loved was when Howard accidentally gets the ninja powers and people like how he showboats while doing it so Randy questions being the ninja. The two guys are cut from the same cloth, best friends for a reason, but the show REALLY highlighted that eventually, a conflict between Howard and Randy was going to come to the head. Why?
Well... Because Randy is just a dumb teenager who wants to be popular. Howard is an asshole. It's not even the first episode that highlights it but every time it gets highlighted, it's a BIG problem for Randy. In this one, Howard is so cruel to a robot, takes his time to mock it so thoroughly that eventually the robot gets corrupted by the sorcerer and all its weaknesses are now strengths and it's damn near unstoppable. I forget how Randy beats it (besides just being better with the powers) but it always stuck out to me as a reminder that Randy WAS a hero, despite his flaws, and that the ninja before him had made the right call choosing him (not sure if we ever got an answer as to WHY Randy got it, though that was by no means necessary.)
It's just the sort of show that I had enjoyed enough that I wish I'd had more people to share in it while I was enjoying it. I could admittedly try going back now and seeing how it is but well... It's a decade old and had protags all about trying to be cool. Danny Phantom used regular, classic tropes for this while Randy actually tried to embrace the fact that stuff like influencers were starting to exist and become more popular so you can probably imagine its sense of humor by that. I wouldn't call it bad but the last time I tried rewatching the first episode, I remember not finding it nearly as charming as I had the first time, let alone as charming as my brain thought it was.
But on that note, I will say possibly one of the least controversial thing I ever have, just to let fellow fans squeal with me: Holy shit was Randy and Baton girl my absolute OTP of the show and I still get all sorts of happy anytime I'm reminded of the two.
And if you're going "Wait, was she a background charact-" NOPE! THEY LITERALLY CALLED HER BATON GIRL! If she ever got an actual name, I don't know it! And god are elements like that why I've never forgotten that show, for good and for ill. Edit: She was named Theresa in S2. Thank you to the commenter who reminded me!

I've never felt like this before.
Pain had always been a companion of mine. It calms the demons, quiets the voice of descent, ceases the turmoil. Peace becomes obtainable in the chaos of war within my mind.
Something new has awoken in me - but it's already gone.
I moaned as you cut into my skin and drew blood from me to paint with. Panted as your knife dragged over my chest and lit my brain up with the knowledge of every kill zone it crossed. All you had to do was stop and plunge in and up to end my life in a slow and agonizing way.
Toes curled as I felt a sensation I've never experienced before in my life. I'd never know what it was if it wasn't for the copious amounts of dark smut I read out of sheer fascination. All those words now make sense, becoming a reality I never expected to experience. I'm struggling to reconcile my own self as you cut into me again, a sharp sting that travels deeper, lower, into my body that creates another involuntary moan.
"I'm having horrible thoughts at the moment," you say softly as you stare at my blood. I kant my head to look at you, chuckling under my breath with curiosity.
"Oh, yeah? Do share."
"I bet I'm making you moan more than he does. And unlike him, you'll feel every inch of me," your response comes out with a crooked smile, but your eyes show a sense of bewilderment and uncertainty.
I can't help but start laughing harder than I should, because you're not wrong. Any sexual experience I've shared has been with false moans and a will for it to be over much sooner than later. I have no sexual drive, never have, and I've made peace with that a very long time ago. I no longer shy away with explaining to people that not only am I non-binary, but I'm also asexual. You'll never have me lusting after you.
As laughter clears the air, there's a strained silence as I try to work through what's going on. Making eye contact feels like a weird idea, but I have to do it. What if I was wrong and I'm not actually ace?
"I probably shouldn't say this but... I'm really starting to doubt my own sexuality right now," I state gruffly and will myself to look at you, our eyes making contact. You hold it for a beat and pieces start falling into place. There's no drive to fuck you. No desire to climb ontop of you and find a release I've never wanted before. All I see is another person, my person whom I trust and care for, but no lust or desire to change what we're doing. I don't want you to touch me. No want for your lips on mine. None of these things I've read about that comes with this feeling explained in my books.
It doesn't change the fact that everytime you cut deeper than a mere scratch, the type I can feel my skin splitting apart, it zips lower to a place that has never reacted before. Now I have to do more research, though I already know that asexual still can have bodily reactions to stimuli and not a person. Out of all the dark, depraved, fucked-up violence delved onto my body, not once have I had this reaction. What the actual fuck?
Then my mind churns with the worry this will change knife play for us. I don't want it to, but you can't ignore an elephant in the room forever. Sooner or later it starts to stink and feel crowded. We've grown so much together and we've found another speed bump. I agree with me trying with someone else, see if I have the same reaction - but there are only two others I'd trust to do this with and they're not in our location. Guess we'll be traveling for science.
Even the next day my mind is reeling. The sensation stopped as soon as our scene was over. Sooner, really, if I think harder about it. It only came about as you were actively cutting me open and ceased when you switched to sensation play with the knife. I feel no different this morning than I did the start of yesterday. Though your question of if you could make me nut from cutting me makes me chuckle still.
The woes of self-discovery.

Pumpkin, warm coat, and moon for the ask game?
🎃 pumpkin: do you have any favorite brainstorming techniques? how do you like to gather ideas for your wip?
To gather ideas I like to explore the game and read quest text. I especially like the pre cata alliance zones, Redridge, Westfall & Duskwood. In retail I fly around & location scout. Because I didn't play alliance until the end of Cata, I never knew until recently that there was a path that connected the hinterlands to Caer Darrow. I thought that was so cool that I ended up writing an outline for a story about an orc servant in Durnholde helping an elvish prisoner escape (she was rabble rousing). It sort of became part of the backdoor backstory for lady deathwhisper.
Also, I really like sitcoms & like thinking about these powerful characters having to deal with very mundane & low stakes encounters. "What if Harrison Jones tried to fight Kel'Thuzad when he's trying to leave the library" comes to mind.
That's a few ways I get ideas. For brainstorming in general I take the screenplay outline format out of "Save the Cat" & try to connect the story ideas together. General beats sort of fall into place through that process.
🌙 moon: do any of your OCs have dark backstories or secrets they’re trying to keep?
I think that's sort of a given when dealing with the Scourge. Although, Ghastly is really the only one with a dark backstory. I had the idea that Blighterghast is actually a red/black hybrid whose egg was taken out of Grim Batol during the second war. There's not a lot of literature on how dragons hatch & in many other properties the eggs only hatch under certain conditions-so I didn't think it was necessarily too far fetched for years to go by between when the egg was laid & Vectus purchasing it. So from being the product of 'dragon violence' & a mostly failed science experiment, I'd say his past is a little depressing.
🧥 warm coat: share a happy or fuzzy scene from your wip!
From ch7, it's a flashback so KT is not a lich. I made it extra cheesy:
Modera peeked her head in. The barn was well lit by a string of mage lights. Unlike the kitchen it was mostly clutter free, only consisting of four stalls and a hay loft. Two stalls were occupied. One by Kel’Thuzad’s horse, Blossom, and the other by his current research subject.
Modera entered. Now she regretted not getting her shoes as she stepped gingerly over the rough dirt and decomposed granite floor of the barn.
Kel’Thuzad did not turn, instead he was frowning at something in the stall in front of him. The other mage must have been up for some time, he looked well rested. He wore his gray hair long, maybe too long as it fell almost below his shoulders. His brows were knitted together, in deep thought.
She saddled up next to him and frowned as well. There in the stall chained to the wall and surrounded by a warding seal was a ghoul. The creature ignored them as it greedily chewed through a hard loaf of conjured bread.
It was impossible to think it had once been a living person. Its skin had completely rotted off its face, leaving a hole where its nose had been and exposing the bone and grey muscle beneath. Its teeth and hands had become mutated almost to the point that they’re only use was for ripping and tearing of flesh. The thing’s muscles had atrophied in death. It couldn’t stand up straight and it could only shuffle about on its knuckles like an ape.
“I thought you were getting rid of this thing,” Modera said as she watched it tear another piece of bread off with its mouth.
“His name is Robbie,” Kel’Thuzad corrected, “and I am. Soon. There’s a few more tests I want to run first.”
Modera sighed, “I thought we weren't working this week.”
“I’m not. Not really.”
“Why are you out here then?”
“I forgot to pick a lemon after I came in from the garden, then I thought I should feed Robbie while you were still in bed. That way I wouldn’t have to do it later,” Kel’Thuzad finally took his eyes off the ghoul. He raised an eyebrow at Modera’s robe and bare feet, “What are you doing out here?”
“You weren’t there when I woke up,” Modera said as she slid her arms around his waist.
Kel’Thuzad turned into her embrace and murmured an apology. He was a head taller than her, and bent to kiss Modera so she wouldn't have to stretch up onto her toes. She let him deepen the kiss and melted into his arms, forgetting for a moment what was watching them.
[lol ghoul reaction shoot]
A gurgle from the stable reminded them. Kel'Thuzad pulled away with a little chuckle, "Those were supposed to be a surprise."
"The strawberries?"
"I was going to bring you breakfast. Maybe I lost track of time," Kel'Thuzad said with a glance over at his ghoul, "let's get you back inside."
Kel’Thuzad swept her off her feet, carrying Modera like a bride. She blushed, “Kelly, don’t, you’ll hurt yourself.”
“Nonsense, you’re light as a feather!” Kel’Thuzad said with a strained grin.
Modera didn’t really want to protest too much. Truthfully, she liked when he held her. Even after years of dating it made her heart skip a beat. She rested her head on his shoulder and looked up at his face. He was more red than tan as they reached the barn door. “Let’s walk together, the grass is soft,” Mordera suggested.

Effervescent
Chapter 7: A trapped princess
Tsu'tey x OC
Effervescent masterlist
:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:
She wore a brand new dress the next morning in the cafeteria, a headache already pounding behind her eyes, but that was the price to pay for the life she led. It wasn't healthy to spend most of the hours of both day and night in the link, as was evident by how limp her hair hung now compared to when she first came to Pandora, though her curls were limp by no means it was still a disturbing change.
Alva rubbed her eyes with a yawn before she walked over to the row of tables. She sat down next to Norm and one of Grace's science lackeys. He glowered at her with a thin face and beady bat-like eyes hanging low under bushy eyebrows.
"Morning, Norm," she chirped. "Sleep well?"
"Sure." He muttered. "Some of us weren't out all night, you know."
One of the scientists to Alva's left passed her a bowl of porridge and a glass of milk. The blob of gray and white was as thick as glue and she wasted all of her milk trying to soften it. The porridge had no smell or taste but the texture was thick, soggy and sticky, not all that different from eating actual glue. Only the glue was easier to swallow and tasted better.
Alva thanked them for the breakfast but didn't eat more of it bar that first spoonful. She still had some of the chocolate left in her pocket that she could nibble on before it was time to go back in her Avatar body.
"You didn't actually think I'd come running back, did you? Why would I leave Eywa for my cage?" Alva chuckled. "It's like leaving paradise for a closet under the stairs. Besides, I didn't want to miss out on Jake getting beat up by the Omaticayan princess."
Jake had earned his spot among Grace's acolytes and sat proudly at the end of the long table, grandma's teylu long forgotten as they showered him with compliments and laughed together like one big family.
"The fence is there to protect us," Norm reminded. "They didn't spend millions of dollars building all that to keep you in here."
"Exactly." Alva smiled. "They spent millions of dollars so that I can be out there. I'm glad you see my point."
"That's not- Ugh."
Alva laughed before shoveling another spoonful of porridge into her mouth. If her mouth was full those words waiting on the tip of her tongue wouldn't be able to escape. The second taste wasn't any better than the first and she instantly regretted it. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad to speak her mind if it saved her from such torture?
A tentative silence fell over the duo, sustained only by Norm's persistent chewing on stale bread topped with cheese that had dry edges. His eyes were locked firm on her, though, narrowed under bushy, furrowed brows.
"-And what were you thinking, huh?" Grace asked from the end of the table. The people sitting around the golden boy turned to Alva and Norm with all the attentiveness of a sports fan watching a mind-boggling game of tennis. "At least Jake is a marine. I mean, Alva, you barely passed the early stages of Avatar training and you thought it was a good idea to run after a hunting thanator with nothing but that necklace around your neck."
"I was never in any danger." Alva denied. "Eywa protected me, and now my Avatar is sleeping in the hometree with the people who shunned you, Grace."
"The Avatar that you endangered for some cheap thrills," Grace snapped, " you always talk about this base being your cage but goddamn are you doing everything in your power to make it so that you can never leave. If something happened to your Avatar then you would never leave the base ever again unless it was to walk your ass to the shuttle taking you back to Earth."
"I'd have regretted it for the rest of my life if I went back with you like the obedient little child my brother wants me to be." She shook her head. "It is a cage, Grace, and one day you will see this place for what it truly is. Then you'll wish you also took the opportunity to leave."
"Wait, rewind," Jake said. "You're with the clan too?"
"Of course." Alva chuckled. "How did grandma's teylu taste, Jake? Not as good as the dirt you ate when Tsu'tey threw you to the ground, eh?"
The marine's mouth dropped open. "You followed us?"
"'Course."
"You speak the language. You could've helped me." He said. "I was one hand-shake away from being made into a rug and you just stood and watched?"
"Yep.." Alva grimaced and shuddered when probing her teeth with her tongue broke loose a piece of porridge lodged in her molars. "It wasn't time for me to reveal myself yet. You never needed my help, not really. It wasn't only me that Eywa protected that night."
Jake didn't seem too impressed by her words, a harsh edge in his eye that she had never seen on him before. Perhaps he felt abandoned, Alva thought.
"They allowed you to stay because they've never had a 'warrior' Avatar before," she added, hoping to see his eyes soften towards her again, not liking this feeling his scorn gave her. "They've had many like me before but you're new to them. They want to study you and learn. That's what kept you alive."
"How do you know that?" He asked.
"I speak the language." She reminded him. "I heard everything they said about you."
Jake leaned closer. "Did, uh, did Neytiri say anything?"
Alva grinned and turned back to her food, and a disgruntled Norm who had yet to stop glaring at the Jarhead warrior. Norm bit down on his spoon so hard that even she heard the sound of his teeth hitting metal.
"She called him a baby," Alva revealed to Norm. "Several times."
Norm inclined his head with the hints of a grin on his thin lips. The next bite isn't nearly as forceful as the others but the man still sulked away from the rest of the science snobs; self-imposed exile brought about by severe jealousy. Jake absorbed the department's attention, jeers and playful insults like a sponge, each word a stroke to his pride, each one bringing his shoulders a smidge higher, his smile a watt brighter. Strange how one's happiness brought another unhappiness, Alva sighed to herself.
"Your chance will come, Norm." Alva said. "I can feel it."
"No, it's fine. I'm fine. It's whatever. Jake did it. He's the way in, not me."
"One path does not make a city. We all have a part to play here, none more important than the other."
Norm gave her a tight-lipped smile.
-:-
Once breakfast, a tense affair of a meal, finished and the scientists retreated to their dens and the army dogs scurried over to their overlords, Alva fled into the empty avatar courtyard. It was just her and the plants... and the occasional bird-like creature cawing from poles and rooftops.
It was still so early that light had not yet overtaken all of the darkness, sluggish snakes of pink crawling through the black. Cold dew clung to the grass and the air was slightly chilly, though Alva barely felt it through the mask on her face and the thick shirt she wore. The billowy sleeves and oversized size allowed it to flare out like the wings of a kenten when she spun around.
With her rebel grandfather's old comb in hand she walked over to the broken area of the formerly electric fence, the off-white object more than a handful for her where it in her Avatar body was tiny and hard to grip. It felt odd, she realized, to walk here when she was so small and everything so large – rocks she could skip over now came up to her waist, the grass swallowed her whole in some areas and the tall fence seemed endless as it shot up towards the sky.
She was singing again, as she so often did when the mood struck her. It was an old song her grandmother taught her before she passed and one that the family sang often. Being the only one to carry those memories stung. The song spoke of a mother's courage; a tale as old as time of the rage of a mother scorned following the murder of her children. It spoke of vengeance and the cruel aftermath of living without them. It spoke of acceptance, and of peace. It was a song spoken in times of sorrow but also of happiness, but it was always sung together. But not anymore.
Briefly, Alva wonders if Parker would frame the song and display it behind his desk if he could. Would he tear the Na'vi's ancestral songs from them too if he had the power to? He did keep a braid of Alva's hair in one of his books hidden deep in his suitcase.
A low whine of pain broke her from the trainwreck of a thought process. Alva perked up at the sound, though it was dulled some because of the thick breathing mask covering her face and ears, and when another whine reverberated through the air, she dropped the meager flower pickings she had gathered and rushed towards it.
She followed the series of yelps, whines and growls through the overgrown compound. It was not by design that she hurried across the pebbled roads with so much haste that the soles of her feet tore and bled onto the sharp rocks. The thing calling for her was in so much pain that her heart skipped a beat each time the sound met her ears.
Alva was shaking as she rounded the pole shrouding her spot from view. A fram of hulking black muscles too wide to be hidden behind the pole shifted and shivered with each jerk the animal made.
"Oh, you sweet, sweet thing." Alva whispered. "I'm sorry."
She shuffled forwards to the mass of snapping teeth, red blood and dark skin. Stuck in the hole she had carved in the fence was an adolescent palulukan. It was smaller than a fully grown and was a shade lighter, but no less lethal.
It fell quiet as it noticed her approaching, bright yellow eyes following her every move. Saliva dripped from its open jaws. Guilt gripped her in its clammy palms, and Alva wanted to cry. To see such a magnificent animal trapped by her conquest for freedom, to see it shrug and yowl and dig itself deeper into the daggers that she had created.
"Shh," she cooed. "I'm not going to hurt you."
The palulukan grew quiet and regarded her with wide eyes. Alva walked closer, hand stretched out in front of her. She shrieked loudly as it jerked its armored tail against the fence, pulling her hand back against her chest. Its sensory quills rose again, low growling sending droplets of drool in the air.
"Shh," she cooed yet again. "It's okay. I'm going to help you."
Despite the animal not appearing to understand her softly spoken pleas, Alva moved closer. Two of its six legs shook in tune with its frantic heartbeat. When she was close enough, Alva dropped into a squat, turning her neck just enough to ease some of the animals' distrust of her but not too far so as to come off as too submissive and prey-like. The palulukan pulled its droopy upper lip back, exposing the rows of dagger-sized teeth. Just one of those teeth were enough to end her five times over, the sheer bite force of this creature enough to break through an AMP-suit with ease. But still, Alva felt no fear when staring into its eyes. There was something familiar about the beast, a calling to be found in its eyes – a mere glimpse of something more.
So as to not startle the animal, Alva slowly brought her hand closer to the animal before breathing out a sigh of relief when it allowed her to place it on its warm skin. She pressed down harder, angling her hand so that she could scratch it just below it's jaw. it felt like she was scratching a heater.
"Good girl." Alva whispered to it with a relieved smile. "Let's get you out of here."
Alva started humming as she placed her other hand on the opposite side of the palulukan's massive head. Some of the wiring from the fence was embedded in the softer skin where the head met the throat. She couldn't tell how deep they were but at least several centimeters dug into the flesh there like tiny little needles. Her fingers danced around the wound, tracing the edges of them with a feather-light touch, gone as quick as they were there, no more painful than the brush of the wind.
The humming turned into a song that came from deep in her throat. She hadn't sung this one since the death of her father. Traditionally there would be another singing with her; one who provided the other half of the perspective, but as she stood alone, Eywa chimed in.
Her hands wandered from the puncture wounds to the strong shoulders flexing just behind the fence line. She was close enough that the animal could swallow her whole if it wished to without having to move forward. One wrong step and she'd have wandered straight into its waiting maws, broken in half as easily as a fragile stick in the jaws of a rabid dog.
"Oh, great Ọ̀ṣọ́ọ̀sì," Alva whispered as she started pulling the wire out of the palulukan's thick hide, "spirit of the forest, of the animals," it whined pitfully and blood pooled from the now empty holes, "of the hunt and hunters..." She trailed off, stroking the feverish sides of the palulukan's head.
"Bring this one strength," she closed her eyes, fingers brushing over the spot between its eyes.
It thrashed against her hold when she moved to grab the other wires on the opposite side, but Alva persisted and pulled them out much the same. A wet squelch and a loud yowl of pain, of confusion and fear so potent it clung to her skin like a suffocating blanket.
With both sides free from the wires, she placed both of her hands flat on its head and started pushing it backwards, positioned in such a way that it had no other choice but to move back. It went without much protest and within a couple of pushes it was free of Alva's trap. It looked back at her once before running off into the forest much like a shadow.
"Until next time, brave one." Alva whispered before she moved the heavy boulder back into place, making sure it covered the entire hole this time. There would be no more digging there. She would not take her freedom if it came at the cost of another's.

Two.
THE NIGHT PASSED fairly quickly. There weren't that many customers towards the end of the night, so I started my closing duties a little earlier than usual and closed shop efficiently. I checked my phone. It was only 11:15 PM. I could swing by the convenience store and pick up some canned coffee and a new pack of cigarettes on the way home, then get back to the apartment, feed Kona my cat, take a hot, relaxing shower, and head out for a smoke with Quinn. If he was still awake.
I decided to text him to make sure.
[Hi. Just finished closing. Want something from Seven-Eleven? I'm stocking up.]
I yawned and put my earphones in to distract myself with some good beats. I wasn't at all surprised when Quinn responded quickly:
[Sure. I need another lighter. Could ya also grab a Monster for me? Thx.]
That actually sounded like a good idea. A can of Monster might do more good for me long-term than another cup of mediocre canned coffee. I made my quick trip to the convenience store when Quinn sent me another message:
[Actually... this is really embarrassing, but could you also grab me a pack of Trojans or something? I'm all out and I'd rather stay stocked. You know how my apartment becomes a party house for my friends sometimes...]
Really? I felt my face growing red. God, this was embarrassing indeed. But it wasn't like I couldn't do it--there was no reason to refuse, honestly.
[Fine... but you know what, you really owe me big for this one. A HUGE favor, anytime--no questions asked.]
[You got it.]
I could almost sense his sheepish grin and tone, teasing me but also slightly embarrassed himself at the same time. I rolled my eyes and sighed. That was okay... people would undoubtedly judge, but I had no one to care about whether they found out, so it didn't matter. I granted his wish and went up to the cashier to get rung up. Surely enough, I got a little sideways glance from the cashier girl, but I stared right back at her. My cold stare dared her to say anything--she didn't.
It was only a ten-minute walk from the store to my apartment. First, I knocked on Quinn's apartment door, number 214. After a couple of seconds, he came out, his hair slightly wet from his shower.
"Yo."
"Hey, Irina. That was fast."
"You know how close it is. I'm gonna go for a shower... your patio tonight?"
"Sure. I have a couple people over, do you mind?"
"Not really. It's your place, do what you want with it. See you later."
True to my word, I returned after a fast shower; I didn't moisturize or anything this time due to laziness. Dressed in my pajamas, I looked out at the night sky on Quinn's patio while he prepared a little Monster on the rocks for us. The friends he had over were people I'd encountered before, fortunately; they were fine with  me being the way I was--quiet, a little brooding, and by myself--and I sincerely appreciated it. I tried to recall their names...
"Henry, do you and Sam want some drinks too?" Quinn called out from the kitchen.
Right. Henry and Sam. His classmates from a Computer Science class, I think?
"Just beer if you have any, thanks." The taller one, Sam, replied and then proceeded to look over at me. "Hey, Irina, long time no see."
"Hey. Do you guys have work to do tonight? Hope I'm not in the way or anything."
"Naw, we're just strategizing at this point--on how not to get wrecked during the midterm season, that is." Henry, the chubbier one, shook his head in dismay. "I think this time I'm seriously fucked, and my parents are going to stop sending me allowance money if I keep this up."
"At least your parents send you allowance money. How convenient," I lamented a little.
"Huh? Irina, you don't get allowance sent from your parents?"
I just smiled and didn't say anything more. No need to bring up a sob story at a time and place like this.
"Don't pry into other people's business, asshole," Quinn said, throwing a cushion from the couch to Henry's surprised face. "Anyhow, we're going out for a smoke. Feel free to watch the TV or anything, and knock or text if you need something."
"Sure, way to ditch. What a terrible host!"
"Sorry, he's nice, but sometimes he's a dull idiot," Quinn muttered about his chubby classmate as he closed the patio door. He wasted no time in lighting up a fresh cigarette and hurriedly put it in his mouth.
I shrugged and laughed aloud. "It's fine; he didn't mean any harm. Besides, I was the one who made that side comment anyway, so of course he'd be interested in what I had to say. That was kind of my bad."
He handed me the same cigarette he had smoked and the good old purple drink. "Here you go." I stared at him, debating whether I should demand my own, but I wasn't a germaphobe, so I let it go. I gladly took it. "How was work?"
"It was normal. Nothing out of the ordinary happened. A guy made a nasty joke at me, but that was also to be expected."
"What?" Quinn frowned. "I don't like the sound of that. Is this the same loser guy from last time, the one who made a fuss about finding a  piece of hair in his waffle?"
"Not sure. I don't really remember his face."
"Idiot, you should remember stuff like that. It could be important, you know. You mostly work closing shifts by yourself; how are you going to fend for yourself if you don't even recognize a potential stalker?"
"I don't think it's as serious as you make it sound. Stop being ridiculous and shut up for a moment. The night is so eerily quiet, wouldn't you agree? So eerie it's almost peaceful."
"I don't follow you when you get all mystic during times like this." He rolled his eyes. "Help me understand."
I didn't know what else to say. I didn't know how to explain it, either--it was really a feeling that could only be understood by the person who felt it. An ineffable feeling. It made me feel a little anxious, yet somehow relaxed at the same time.
Was it possible to feel such contradictory emotions at the same time? My whole life was a paradox.
"It's stupid. Don't mind me. Anyway, how're things with you? Going into your second year of college... must be exciting."
He snorted. "Not really. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do. It's like... nothing excites me enough to make me think, 'This is what I want to do for a living, forever.' Not only is it a source of income, but it's about defining who I am, or will be, you know? It's hard to take it lightly when I think of it that way."
"That's really mature for a twenty-year-old."
"I don't want to hear that coming from an eighteen-year-old. You barely passed the adult threshold; don't kid with me." He chortled at his bad pun, and I grimaced.
"Regardless... I think it's admirable, what you just said. Doesn't change how I feel." I took in a deep drag of the poison and let it fill my lungs before releasing to the air. "I wonder if I could also one day become someone who can say admirable things like that."
"What are you talking about? You're such an oddball. Don't get depressed and mopey on me all of a sudden."
"Sorry, I must be exhausted. I barely got three hours of sleep over the past two days." I found it hard to believe as I said it. As a reflex, I yawned.
"Christ, Irina. You're going to kill yourself. Go take a nap in my room after this stoge."
"Just one more..." I could already feel myself nodding away. My consciousness was fading in and out....

The One Where She Got A Dog
Yelena Belova X Reader
Summary: how Yelena became a dog mom Masterlist Part 2
Tags: E | 1.8k words | scary movie, winter, secret pasts, sapphic
AN: Black Widow movie really got me in my feelings about those characters, Yelena in particular. I havent watched The Thing in almost a year please look the other way if movie events are out of order.
Tumblr media
Pretty Russian girls are not usually your type, but fuck if you weren't absolutely obsessed with this one. You laughed when she told you she was from Ohio.  She laughed when you said you were too.
Aquavit and your grandma's biscuit recipe brought her into your cabin on the edge of the world where she admitted to you she had never seen John Carpenter's The Thing before. You turned it on just as the snow storm set in and wrapped up in your thickest blankets with her. You're trying not to get your hopes too high but she's not shy about asking you to scoot closer.
"Skäl," you cheer just as the ominous opening credits end and they find the mysterious ship in the frozen wasteland of antarctica.
"Have you ever been?," Yelena asked.
You grimace at the strong taste of aquavit. It's like vodka but with caraway for 'flavor'. You look at her from the side and poor yourself a second shot. "Been…?"
"There." She points at the screen.
"I have actually," you admit in a way you hope is flat and uninteresting, "have you?"
Yelena shook her head. It's possible she might think you're being sarcastic (you cross your fingers under the blanket and hope she does). She's smiling at you, thinking something (but still watching the screen with interest).
She drops the subject until you have to pause the movie to pee. You unwrap yourself from the cocoon of blankets and as you stand she asks you another question.
"What were you doing there? in Antarctica, I mean."
You sigh and pretend to brush something off of your pants. "Science trip with my parents. Shitty vacation for me I'd rather be in the Bahamas."
You resist the urge to look at her. After taking care of business, you come back just in time to put the biscuits in the oven. You hear Yelena lean into the kitchen archway as the floors creak immensely here.
"No timer?," she asked.
"No timer," you confirm. "I use the timer of my heart."
Yelena scoffs. "Please don't burn them, I'm curious about these… what are they– pastries?"
"Something like that."
The two of you went back to the movie just as the gang on screen is trying to decipher who is human and who is not. You feel like something between you has changed and sadly not for the better.
But she can't know.
"I hate this part," you say, making absolutely no move to avert your gaze.
Yelena is startled when the doctor's arms become trapped in the bear trap belly mouth of the "man" on the table. She quickly covers her eyes and giggles manically, slapping your chest for the vague and unhelpful warning. You realize she's not as close to you as before…
There's 20 minutes left of this movie and you haven't seen a single thing on screen. Yelena stopped asking you questions when you stopped being coherent with your answers. All you can think about is telling her.
But you can't tell her. She would never understand. You barely understand and it's about you.
"I lied." Your heart beats in your throat as you see her face you but you can't look at her directly for fear of losing your nerve. "About the science expedition? That's not why I was in Antarctica…"
Yelena seems to wait for you to continue but…
"Eh, no offense but, " you gesture with your hand, "I don't really know you like that."
Yelena gave your reply a single nod. "I suppose that's fair."
You can't help but fidget in your seat. "Idliketo"
"What was that?"
You cleared your throat. "I said… I said I'd like to. Know you like that, I mean…"
Yelena gives you a smile. "I would like to know you like that, too."
The movie ends, the biscuits are not burnt but buttery soft and golden brown, and the blizzard outside has subsided some. It's still going but at least it's not buffering the doors and windows like before.
"How can you watch that film in a place like this?" Yelena cannot get enough of those biscuits, stuffing them in her mouth 2 at a time. "Does it make you paranoid?"
"Yes it does," you say, putting your coat on, "I think that's what makes it so much scarier–  looking outside and being scared every person you come across ain't who they say they are. Sometimes its not a bad thing though... I think it is rather… poetic, too."
Yelena's eyebrows furrow. "Where are you going?"
You put on your boots and hope the duct tape stays on the hole you covered earlier. "Dogs are out in the shed. It's heated and they have food, but not for days and I'd rather have 'em in the house where I can take care of them."
As you finished your sentence you reached for the door,  but stopped when you noticed Yelena getting dressed too. She gives you a nod as soon as her hood comes up, and you give this brave thing an appreciative once over.
The snow that nearly all melted before is up to your knees now. Fresh, white, and fluffy. It muffles sound like the world's sidelong turning. The odd snowflake wafts lazily from the sky, but for the most part it's died down. You teach back and take Yelena's gloved hand to keep from staying too far apart.
"You know I always wanted a dog," she said. She could have said it in a whisper from 100 yards away and you still would have heard her–  that is how eerily quiet it is.
Yelena squeezes your hand and you squeeze back. She's probably remembering the movie. You try to distract her by saying, "Oh yeah? You can have one of mine then."
Yelena laughs, then stops. "You serious?"
"As a heart attack." You finally reach the door to the shed and unlatch the door. A chorus of barks begin and you charge forward to nudge them back to give Yelena space to come in as well. "I do some breeding up here–  just a side job. They're usually working dogs but they can be pets too."
Buck licks your face from chin to forehead and you push him back. "Down, boy! Show some respect!"
Yelena has two of the mongrels circling her, sniffing all her clothes and demanding to be pet. "That's Burt, Barney, and Bella. Buck's my stud, but these heathens are going to a farm. They've got sheep to watch."
Yelena chuckles as her hands get covered in slobber. "I love them."
They're almost grown, three quarters the height of their father. Buck didn't even look in Yelena's direction because he knows you give him treats. You take your scarf off as the heat of the shed threatens to smother you and search your pockets for jerky.
"She's in there with the new puppies." You point to a darkened closet. "Don't get too close now, she's still a little protective."
Yelena creeps closer. You see her look at you from the corner of her eye. Probably terrified by the morphing dog scene from the movie. You give her an encouraging smile and tell her where to find the light. It's a pull cord and it bathes the room in a warm golden yellow light.
Yelena's heavy, controlled breathing turns into a coo. Mama dog is laying on her side watching the newcomer closely. There's a pup asleep in the nest of her legs, another chewing on the hay that litters the ground, and the last one is biting their mother's ear. Yelena looks back at you with an adorable pout on her lip.
"So cute…"
You chuckle and put your arm around her. Buck knows to steer clear of mama dog and slinks off. You make your guest walk closer with you to show mama she's got your confidence.
"Yelena, this is Beyonce." Mama dog's ears perk at the sound of her name. "Beyonce, this is Yelena. Be nice."
You reach down and scoop up the hay eating puppy at your feet. "This one's always hungry."
You put the pup in her arms and scoop up the biter. "This one likes to play. All the time. Got more energy than the blue Energizer bunny actually."
The pup in question is literally trying to wriggle out of your hands in its eagerness to climb you and eat your hair.
"And that one sleeps a lot?" Yelena nodded her head at the last pup.
"Pretty much." You put the writhing excited puppy down before it hurts itself and look up into the rafters. "And then there's the climber…"
You both turn your heads when you hear a tiny bark. A cute little face stares down at you from the rafters and there's a feather stuck to its nose. You shake your head knowing this pup got it from ripping up pillows in another part of the dog house.
"Better go get her," you said, not moving an inch to do so.
Yelena sees your challenge and rises to it. As if trained to do exactly so, she assesses the wooden interior for foot and hand holds. You can see the wheels turning in her head as she calculates what will and won't support her weight. In the sweep of a single moment, she rises from the door and swings herself into the rafters using a build up a momentum to propel her fast in an upperward direction. She completes the climb and balances with ease, reaching out to collect the happy wagging miscreant from her mountain top, tucks her in her jacket and climbs a different way down.
You stare at her. "Were you raised by trapeze artists?"
Yelena laughs. "I thought everybody was."
The pup is safe and happy and eager to explore its new friend. Yelena lets her lick, sniff, and scratch at her skin, her clothes, her hair. The pup catches Yelena with a tiny lick right on the tip of her nose and Yelena looks back at you with adoring eyes.
You smile. "Got a name for her already don't you?"
"Yes," Yelena whines, "no, are you sure about this? I should probably tell you I've never had a dog before…"
"I can tell your good people," you reply. "And smart as a whip. You'll adapt, just call me if you ever need anything."
~
Three weeks later you get a phone call from an unknown number. It's Yelena giving you an address and making you swear never to tell anybody about it. You don't have any friends so it's an easy secret to keep.
You drive a few miles south and stumble upon a stationary trailer in the middle of nowhere, nothing but clearings and trees and sky. Actually very similar to your own home.
The door opens and Yelena greets you with a beer and the pup under her arm, already almost a foot bigger than she was before.
"Her name is Fanny." You both laugh yourselves hoarse and pile into the trailer to puppy proof the place.

"bring a jacket next time."
Tumblr media
pairings: tetsurou kuroo x reader
genre: fluff
notes: in japan, their way of checking the time is much different than america. they use 24-hour clocks. so if it was 1 in the afternoon, it would be counted as 13:00 for them.
a/n: it felt like some special holiday for me today and i don't know why... but seriously, how is my last kenma fanfic getting so much love istg- anyways, enjoy this fanfiction! i couldn't think of a good title for this on... :sob:
Tumblr media
you sneeze suddenly when a gust of wind blows against your legs. it is indeed cold outside, but the shriveled leaves scraping their way down the street makes it seem much colder.
"why does it have to be so cold on a beautiful night like this..," you mutter to yourself, wrapping yourself with your arms.
too bad you didn't contemplate on bringing a jacket with you before bursting through the door with kuroo calling behind you.
well, now you feel a little guilty remembering that you lied to kuroo that you were going to buy some snacks at a nearby konbini. in reality, you just want to spend most of the night searching for some shooting stars.
you make a brief trip to the park, to which you find everything abandoned. that one big red slide that you always see children fighting to have their turn on is now empty and lonely. the swings seem motionless, too. however, they still rock back and forth every now and then when a chilly breeze rushes by. the seesaw is tilted down at an angle, making one side touch the ground full of woodchips.
you search for that favorite brown bench that has legs made out of an elegant black metal of some sort. soon, you discover it sitting under a big maple tree silently. it faces a metal fence that is as high as your waist, which a beautiful view of a huge lake stretches out on the other side of that fence. you don't hesitate to plop down and make yourself comfy on the bench, admiring the wavy reflection of the glittering stars and moon on the water's surface.
you could stare at such a view all day...
well, you would if you had brought a jacket though.
the cold night air wraps around you, trying to embrace you in a friendly way, but all it does is make you shiver and lift your feet onto the bench. you hug your knees and bury your mouth and nose inside your arms and knees, cursing to yourself about why you were stupid enough to not bring some warm clothing before setting out.
"just like i thought," a voice that sounds very familiar booms out from behind you, making you flinch.
you turn your head around to see a bedhair walk up to you with a cheeky grin.
"tetsu?!" you squeal, a little shocked that he actually know exactly where you were. "how did you know i'm here?"
kuroo is bundled up in a scarf and his nekoma jacket. he also has a thick piece of folded cloth draped over his right arm, making you assume that it's probably a blanket.
"i've never seen you that eager to do some shopping at the konbini, kitten," he replies, taking a seat next to you.
"you've always been a fan of sceneries outside, so that gave me an idea."
you give him a look of amazement, awed by the fact that he knows you very well like you're his child or something. however, it isn't long before kuroo bonks you on the head.
"you little rascal~ why didn't you bring a coat? it's like below 25 degrees celsius, and here you are, hanging out at the park, short-sleeved, and without a jacket or coat."
you whimper at his remarks.
"well, you know i was excited, tetsu..," you pout, puffing your cheeks out.
he chuckles, "nobody was blaming you, ok?"
kuroo takes a moment to peel off his nekoma jacket and place it over your shoulders. you gratefully hug it over your shoulders. other than the fact that it smells strongly of that lavender body soap you gave him, the jacket felt warm from kuroo's body heat, making you feel safe.
an unintentional smile slips onto your lips and you readjust your gaze to the sky.
"say... do you think there will be any shooting stars tonight?"
kuroo lifts a brow before fixing his gaze at the sky as well.
"oya? hunting for shooting stars?"
you nod eagerly, continuing to look up attentively.
"mhm! you told me that it's shooting star season!"
the branches of the maple tree above you sway gently, swishing its leaves together to create gentle rustling sounds.
kuroo smiles and points towards one of the stars.
"do you know how stars are formed, n/n?" he asks you, his finger directing your gaze towards the appointed star.
you squint to make a more intricate observation of the star while racking your brain, trying to remember your astrology lessons at school.
"well... don't stars form from accumulated gas and dust in space?" you finally conclude, remembering one fact your teacher has emphasized back then.
kuroo nods happily.
"yep. stars form when the gravity of the dust and air collapse together, which makes them heat up out of pressure."
he continues to ramble on about how stars mostly contain hydrogen and helium, the lightest elements to exist in the universe, and how stars are, in reality, exploding balls of gas.
you listen patiently as he explains. you are always interested in his nerdy science talk, as well as the way he is invested in his own world when a discussion related to a scientific topic arises.
it takes him a little bit to finish his explanation with a sneeze.
of course, he's not wearing his jacket. that's why.
you take off the jacket you were wearing and hand it to him.
"you're gonna catch a cold, so take your jacket back."
however, he pushes it back into your chest.
"no, kitten. you have it. i'm worried about you more."
you begin to pout, angry that he's always caring for your health instead of his own.
"no, kuroo," you say with an upset look. "this is not my jacket."
you two begin fighting about who should wear kuroo's jacket, exaggerating the possibilities of not wearing one and lecturing one another.
"that's it," kuroo sighs, looking troubled.
at first, you are confused by his words.
"what do you m-"
it was at this moment that kuroo covers the blanket that you forgot he had brought onto his back and then trapping you inside his arms, wrapping your body inside the blanket.
"there, now we're both warm," he smirks.
you take a while to understand the situation you're currently in before blushing madly. you look up at him, only to see that usual proud smirk on his face. he obviously did this on purpose.
"tetsu?! what the actual hell?!" you scream.
"oya? anything wrong?" he asks a little too 'innocently', pissing you off.
you growl back, "of course, you dumbass! people might see us and take this to like a million different wrong directions!"
"kitten, it's almost half-past 23:00. it's really unlikely that we'll be seen since most people are asleep."
you can't counter back, because that sly cat is right. most people are asleep at this time, so it's highly unlikely that you'd get caught like this with kuroo.
you have no idea how to react, so you decide to lean your back against kuroo, resting your head on his chest. at least, you realize that you feel much warmer than wearing his jacket. in the end, you start to relax, paying closer attention to the steady rise and fall of his chest while he breathes.
"do you ever see stars as memories when you look at them?" you ask kuroo, tilting your head upwards to meet his gaze.
"sometimes," he smiles, looks at one of the stars.
"like that one near that giant cloud reminds me of when i stole your meat from your lunchbox."
you cough.
"do you think this is a great time to bring this up??"
he only smirks at you. "you asked if i get reminded of anything when i look at a star."
you pout a little and fix your eyes to another star and point your finger towards it.
"well, this one reminds me of when yaku beat your ass for stealing meat from my lunchbox."
you two begin talking back and forth, saying which star represented which memory, laughing about the old days, and fighting about various things, like who should've gotten to eat that scrumptious piece of steak.
as you come back to argue about the lunchbox situation again, a white streak catches your eyes, snapping your attention back to the sky.
"look, tetsu! shooting stars!" you exclaim.
what kuroo turns his head to look at the sky with you.
sure enough, more streaks of white rain down like a slight drizzle.
"hurry up! make a wish!" you tell him before clasping your hands together before your face and close your eyes.
kuroo looks at you, then back at the sky. after a while, he closes his eyes and makes his wish.
i want to stay by y/n's side, even after i graduate.
however, he doesn't say it out loud. instead, he wraps his arms around your chest after you have finished making your wish.
for the first time in forever, kuroo gives you the most genuine smile that you've ever seen, which surprises you since you're so used to his cheeky smirks. it reminds you of honey and its sweet flavor.
"you know, kitty, we could do this next time," he coos in the sweetest voice you've ever heard him use.
"did you think i'd stop you?"
"ummmm..."
you look side-ways towards the tree beside you before give him your honest response.
"weeeeell, i thought you'd tell me it'd be too late into the night to do something like this and that i wouldn't be able to wake up if i stay up star-hunting."
kuroo chuckles, petting your head lightly with that big hand of his
"things like this are exceptions."
your eyes light up to his words. he has officially announced the permit to stay up searching for shooting stars that you adore a lot. it makes you very happy that you smile back warmly.
"thank you, tetsurou," you sigh, leaning into his chest comfortably.
"it's nothing, y/n."
he continues to stroke your hair in a soothing way as he maintains that genuine smile on his lips.
"just bring a jacket next time, or star-hunting will be off-limits."

The Roommate
Tumblr media
Characters:
TFATWS!Bucky Barnes x Neighbor!Reader
Summary:
Bucky Barnes as your neighbor is a good thing, especially when you need company. You two instantly became friends ever since he heard you listening to classic songs, and that you prefer "old but classic" stuff. To make the long story short, you fell for him, but when you confessed your feelings for him, he avoided you. And you thought that's how your beautiful start would end.
Warning:
Fluff
This is why you sometimes hate Sundays, you have nothing to do, and you're bored as fuck.
There's nothing to watch on Netflix, you have no new books to read, and no new episode of a podcast to listen to. So at the moment, you are just lying on your bed, staring blankly at your room's ceiling.
If only you're still living with your ex-roommate, Ana, the two of you must've talking gossips and having conversations about life nonstop. But she's not here since she moved to a different State last week already for a new job opportunity. She didn't want to leave you but she can't say no to a job opportunity, and you can't keep her from achieving her dream as well. So here you are, hoping that your next roommate will be just like Ana.
You were about to grab the remote control of your television inside your room when your phone vibrated, signaling that you have a text message.
Hey, I saw your post on the internet and that you're looking for a roommate. I'm interested and hoping we could meet today somewhere so we could discuss it.
You frowned a bit when you noticed that the sender of the message didn't mention any name nor introduce himself/herself.
Just when you're about to reply to this text, you received another message from the same number.
I'm Sam by the way.
Now that this sender finally introduced himself/herself, your confusion vanished, and decided to meet with this potential roommate of yours. Although you're still not quite sure whether this Sam is a guy or a girl, nonetheless, that's not important. What's important for you is that he or she is not a bad person and a heartbreaker.
You agreed to meet with your potential roommate in a nearby coffee shop in an hour. So you got up and went your way to your shower to prepare for this unexpected meeting.
The moment you entered the coffee shop you and your potential roommate agreed to meet on, you grab your phone and dialed the number of the person you're meeting, Sam.
Well, at least, you're not gonna die out of boredom. ───────────────────❥
"Hello?" you began when you heard that Sam already accepted your call, "This is Y/N. I'm already here in the coffee shop. Can you like raise your hand so I could see you?" you asked.
You roam your eyes around as you wait for Sam to answer in the other line.
"I'm right behind you," a familiar voice spoke on the other line.
Your heart skipped a beat when you heard that familiar voice.
You slowly turn around and see for yourself if your hunch is right about that familiar voice.
Hell, you are right.
It was him. It was Bucky.
It was the man you fell for.
Your eyes met his blue eyes when you face him. He was still holding his phone to his hear when you two face each other.
Seeing him now made you remember how you told him that you like him and that you're starting to fall for him already, and at the same time, you remembered how he walked out of your apartment and broke your heart into pieces. He left without any words. He just left and avoided you from then on.
Well, not until this day came.
"What the hell are you doing here?" you asked him straight on his face as you end your call with your supposed to be a potential roommate and put your phone inside your bag, "And what kind of sick joke this is?"
Bucky took a deep breath as he moves a step closer to you, "You have every right to be mad at me, and I won't question it. I've been a jerk, an asshole, I get it. But I was hoping you'd listen to me," he said.
You scoffed, "Listen to you? Listen to the guy who walked out on me on the night that I confessed my feelings? That's a bit absurd, don't you think?" you sarcastically smiled at him as you ask him. You shook your head, "This is going nowhere. So long, old friend."
You were about to walk past him when he gently grabbed your wrist to stop you from walking away from him.
"Please, Y/N. I'm begging you," he made you face him again, "I didn't mean to hurt you. I didn't mean to avoid you as much as I didn't mean to love you."
Love you? He loves you?
He nodded, "Y/N, that night you told me that you like me and that you are actually falling for me, I was the happiest man alive. But that happiness faded away the moment I remembered who I am, and who I was. Instantly, I realized that you don't know me that well for you to love me that easily," he explained.
"Let's say you really do love me and that there's still I need to know about you," you pull back your hand away from him and crossed your arms in front of your chest, "Why tell me now? Why confess to me right now?"
"Because I fucking love you damn much already," he answered back immediately. He clenched his jaw and closed his eyes for a second before he started talking again, "I tried my best to forget you, to forget what I feel for you but it's fucking too impossible. So I thought that if I'd let you know who I really am, who I was, I'll leave you the choice whether you still want to be with me or not."
You can't believe that this is happening right now.
A month ago, you realized that you don't have every time in the world to take your time to confess your feelings for Bucky, so you did confess to him. However, he broke your heart. And now here you are, you are very tempted to kiss him right now but you fought the urge to since you are curious about who he really is.
Bucky extended his hand towards you, "Come with me."
You took a glance at his hand before you look at him again, "I don't know, Bucky," you looked down and shook your head, "You already broke my heart and I don't think I have enough trust in you to come with you."
He chuckled, "You have a swiss knife on your bag, you have a pepper spray, if I do something vile to you, use it. I won't fight it," he assured.
Despite the heartbreak he gave you, you won't deny the fact that he's still charming to you. So yes, you ended up saying yes and coming with him.
➽──────────────────❥
"What the hell are we doing in the Smithsonian museum, Bucky?" you ask him as you both walk inside the museum.
It was a long drive from NYC to DC. You fell asleep the whole time you two were on the road. You wanted to ask him why does he have to take you to DC, but you were too tired to give a damn. So you let him take you to the place that will show you who he really is.
But you never thought you'd end up here in the Smithsonian Museum.
He didn't answer you, instead, he leads the two of you inside the exhibit made for the legacy of Captain America, Steve Rogers.
You chuckle and shook your head as you both walk inside the exhibit, "If we're planning to steal Cap's shield, I hate to break it to you but there's a new Captain America already," you joked.
"Yeah, I know," he casually answered, "I know him."
Your brows furrowed as you look at him, "The former Captain America or the new one?" you asked him, not sure if he's kidding or not.
"Both of them," he sighed and stopped walking. He faces you, "Before we proceed," he grabbed your hand and sighed again, "I want you to know that I love you, I really do. I also want you to know that I'm sorry for breaking your heart, for hurting you, but there's a lot of reason why I had to do it."
Your heart melted the moment he told you that he loves you. It wasn't the first time, but it feels like it. You wanted to tell him that it doesn't matter who he was and who he is because, for you, love is love. It doesn't give a damn about anyone's real identity. But you two have come a long way to back out now.
"Ready?" he asked you.
You nodded, "Yeah. I'm ready."
You and Bucky walked a few seconds more, but your body froze the moment you saw his picture inside Captain America's exhibit. He was beside Captain Steve Rogers.
"Battle tested, Captain America and his Howling Commandos quickly earned their stripes. Their mission, taking down HYDRA, the Nazi rogue science division."
"Bucky?" you murmured when your eyes landed on the picture of the guy standing next to you. You took a glance at Bucky and he was just looking at you and what your reaction will be. You look over Bucky's shoulder and saw a portrait of him plastered in a glass. You automatically walked there and check it for yourself.
"Best friends since childhood, Bucky Barnes and Steven Rogers were inseparable on both schoolyard and battlefield. Barnes is the only Howling Commando to give his life in service of his country."
There's both so much and too much to see in this exhibit, not the Captain America part, but the part where you realize that your neighbor, the guy you fell for is actually not the man you thought he is.
Beside Bucky's glass mosaic, you saw a video presented near it. It was Bucky and Captain Rogers.
"You weren't really kidding when you said that you knew the former Captain America," you said when you saw Bucky on your peripheral, looking at you, watching you.
"He's my best friend, and even he's gone already, he still is," he said.
You and Bucky walked around the exhibit more. He also showed you around Captain America's exhibit and even showed you the uniform he wore during his Howling Commando days.
You have no idea what to think or feel at the moment, but one thing's for sure, your love for him didn't fade away even if you knew who he really is and who he was, not even after he told you that he was the infamous Winter Soldier. You still feel the same for him and you have no idea why. Maybe because love is love.
After you two went ou the Smithsonian Museum, you two walked around the National Mall.
"Why did you think that showing me these would change my mind about you?" you asked him, breaking the silence between the two of you.
"Because I--"
You cut him off, "Because you assassinated people in the past?" you stopped from walking and faced him, "Or because you are a hundred and six years old man?"
"Y/N, you know---"
You cut him off again, "No, I don't know, Bucky. So tell me," you chuckled and shook your head, "Does these things supposed to change my mind? My heart? What I fucking feel for you? Well, sorry it didn't! Because even after I found out that you are Cap's best friend, that you were one of his Howling Commandos, that you were the Winter Soldier, and that you are an Avenger, I still feel the same way for you, I still see you as the guy I fell in love with, I still see you as my neighbor who likes Marvin Gaye so much that he listens to it through night and day, I still see you as Bucky Barnes," you told him.
The whole time you two were walking around the museum up to this scenic place in DC, you have nothing in mind aside from the fact that you were actually fascinated about who he really is.
Finding out that he's an avenger, that he's making this world a better place and saving it from going chaotic made you love him even more. Even the fact that he's a hundred and six years old man doesn't bother you at all and doesn't change how you see him.
"And if those things you showed and told me why you broke my heart, then I must tell you," you wiped your tears away, "You just wasted your time because it didn't change the fact that I love you. You told me that you're giving me the choice whether I still want to be with you or not, and I made my choice now, Bucky," you walked closer to him and held his right cheek, "I want to be with you."
Bucky held your hand that was on his cheek, and your eyes landed on his gloved hand because now you know why he was always wearing a leather jacket and covering his hand with gloves.
So you grabbed his hand and slowly remove the glove he was wearing, when you look at him, he was surprised by what you did.
"This is the hand that I will always hold onto, the hand that I will always choose to hold," you smiled at him.
You finally felt his vibranium hand on your cheek as he wipes your tears away, "I'm sorry if I had to hurt you that way. I'm sorry for breaking your heart, but I'm already here and I will not leave you," he pulled you closer to him and kissed your forehead, "I got you now and there's nothing else I could ask for," he pulled you again and this time it was the tip of your nose he chose to kiss, "I love you," he said before he finally claims your lips with his.
His lips dance with yours, and with every sway, you felt his longing, his love, and care for you. As cliche as it sounds, it was truly like your love for each other. It was pure and true.
"Who's Sam by the way?" you asked him after you two kissed, "Wait, Sam Wilson as in the Falcon?"
He nodded, "Yeah, the new Captain America. I asked him if I could use his name because I know you won't answer my calls," he said and sighed, "Anyway, you might have to take down your post about looking for a roommate."
You frowned, "And why is that?" you asked him.
"Because I'll be moving in with you," he revealed, which made your eyes widened in surprise, "Only if you want to of course."
You chuckle as you nodded, "I would love that."
"Just to be sure, you're my girlfriend now, right?" he asked you.
"For a hundred and six years old man, you're the most slow-moving one," you joked and run your fingers through his hair as he wrapped his arms around you, "I'm yours and you're mine, Bucky Barnes."

If You Please
Chapter One
Bucky Barnes x Reader
Word Count: 1644
Hi everyone this is my first fic, so please feel free to as constructive criticism.
I'm bad at writing descriptions, so this is basically a reader insert into The First Avenger and then we'll see how it goes from there.

Tumblr media
It was 1943 when my life changed dramatically. The second world war had been going on for a few years now and with Hitler quickly rising to power it felt as though every young man and woman wanted to help the war cause. This included Steve Rogers, my brother, and James 'Bucky' Barnes, my secret fiancé.
We had all grown up together in Brooklyn and later on Bucky and I started to have more romantic feelings for each other. We've been engaged for two years now but Steve still doesn't know, no one knows. We've planned to tell everyone once Bucky gets back from the war, whenever that will be. Tonight is his last night in New York before he gets shipped off with the 107th to the front.
Currently, unknown to my brother and fiancé, I am working under Agent Peggy Carter in the Strategic Scientific Reserve or SSR for short. They believe I work as a full-time secretary for one of the many recruitment offices in New York. The SSR's work dealing with Hydra is highly classified and very dangerous. Agent Carter and I are not only the only two highly regarded women here but we're both two of the youngest agents.
Now enough with the back story, let's get into how this whole mess started.
Tumblr media
It was the day of the Stark Expo, Bucky had decided we would go there for a date and maybe a dance or two before we had to meet Steve. When I had gotten off of work at 5 pm sharp, Bucky was outside the recruitment office waiting.
"James I thought I told you not to wait for me outside of my place of work," I said to him as I walked over to him. He pulled me in close and kissed the top of my head.
"I know, but what kind of fiancé would I be if I didn't come to meet my best girl?" I try to push away from him but he just holds on tighter, chin resting on the top of my head and swaying us side to side.
"Shh be quiet or someone will hear you. We definitely don't need Steve finding out we're engaged yet."
"Fine," he said, letting go of me to then grab onto my hand, "I hope you wore your dancing shoes doll because that's all we're doing until I have to let you go." I giggled and nodded as we crossed the road on our way to Queens, where the expo was being held.
"So doll, did you have a good day at work?"
"Yeah, I just filed more recruitment papers and mailed off important documents. You know, the usual." We turned a corner and headed down to the subway. We walked in a comfortable silence until we got into the subway car. "How was your day today, anything exciting happen?"
"If you call saving your brother from being pummeled to death again exciting then no. Although, seeing you this afternoon has made my day a whole lot better."
I turned to look Bucky in the eyes, "Again? What happened this time?"
"He said he was at the theater and some punk was being disrespectful to the video of the troops overseas. Steve said he spoke up to the man, but you know how that always ends up for him." He unwrapped his hand from mine to then put the same arm around my shoulders.
"I wish he'd lay low, you're not going to be here to break up the fights anymore, and you know how he gets when I try to step in and help."
"Oh one more thing, he tried to enlist again. From New Jersey this time," He chuckled and shook his head.
"I have no clue what I'm going to do with him, James. I know he wants to go fight, but I can't risk having both my best men out there. I don't know what I'd do with myself if both of you left me here." I shifted closer into Bucky's arms. "Come on, our stop is just up ahead."
Tumblr media
When we entered the expo all I could do was stare. The lights and technology that Stark had put on display were amazing. Soon I felt a tug at my hand.
"Sweetheart come on I want to get at least one dance in before Steve shows up. I think I see a place we can go over here." Then I was quickly taken to a brightly lit dance floor where couples were gathering to dance to a slower song. Bucky slowly did a little bow and I followed with a small curtsy of my own. I couldn't keep myself from laughing. "Ma'am may I have this dance," he asked, holding his right hand out to me.
"You certainly may," I replied while placing my left hand into his outstretched one. He then wrapped his left arm around my waist and held our entwined hands upright in the air, and my right hand went to rest upon his shoulder. He smiled his signature little smirk.
Then the band started to play and we started to twirl around the dance floor.
After a minute I rested my head on Bucky's shoulder and wrapped my arm under his. "I never want this to end Buck. I'd dance with you forever if that meant you didn't have to go so far away from me."
"Oh, Doll I dread the end of this night. What am I going to do without you by my side every day," Bucky said as he gently rubbed the small of my back. "Somebody's got to go off and protect you and if that means fighting in this war, I'll gladly do it one hundred times over." He looked down at me and then kissed my temple. "Come one I think I see Steve over by the stairs." He let go of my hand and waist more quickly than I would have liked.
"Steve! Look who I found," I called and Bucky and I made our way over to the set of stairs my brother had been wandering about at. I ran over to give him a tight hug. "I heard you had a little scuffle again today and that you tried to enlist. Again." Steve stood there awkwardly and smoothed his hair back with his hand.
"Buck, I thought we agreed that we weren't gonna tell her this time," he said through his teeth at Bucky.
"Hey man it's not my fault your sister is crazy scary when she's trying to get something out of you," he said while putting his hands up in defense.
"Fair enough. But next time you tell her something like that I'll hurt you."
"I'd like to see you try there pal," Bucky retorted while trying to grab at Steve but I interjected before they could make a scene.
"Boys please act like adults, we're at a science and technology expo NOT a playground." They both stopped to look at me. I moseyed over to stand between them both and hooked my arms into theirs. I looked to the right at Bucky then to the left at Steve. "So boys, what should we look at first?"
The night progressed smoothly from there, with us going to see Stark's new flying car invention and many more new and exciting things. We laughed and joked, Bucky and Steve bickered, which I had to intervene in before it became an actual argument. Pretty soon 9 o'clock came and all three of us headed home to Brooklyn. Bucky walked with us to our door and we said our heartfelt goodbyes. After a rather tight hug, he left, strutting down the sidewalk towards his own home, but quickly turned to give a stiff-armed salute. Steve and I turned to go inside.
"Goodnight Stevie, I'll see you tomorrow," I called out down the short hall from my room. I waited for his reply before I shut my door and turned the light off. Gathering up my nightgown I slipped under the covers of my bed. It had been a good day, but the fact that Bucky was leaving in just a few hours kept coming to the forefront of my mind. I laid awake thinking of when I was ever going to see him again. At that moment the window to my room quietly creaked open. I sat up quickly reaching for the bedside lamp. When the weak yellow light filled the room Bucky was standing in the room, tangled in the curtain.
"Bucky what the hell are you doing," I whispered yelled at him.
"Well I thought I'd at least spend my last night stateside with my fiancée, but if you'd like me to leave then I will." He stated matter of factly and turned to go back out the way he had come.
"No don't go," I crawled over to the edge of the bed and reached for his hand, "You just surprised me is all. You haven't come through my window since we were kids." He laughed and let me pull him up to the head of the bed. He fell not so gracefully onto the sheets and swaddled me up close to his chest. I could smell the soap on his skin and the freshness of his nightshirt. I could hear the beat of his heart loudly in my ear as I started to drift off.
"Will you wake me up before you go," I questioned, snuggling further into his chest.
He was quiet for a long time, just laid there with his right hand playing with the ends of my hair. Then he nodded silently and gave the top of my head a long kiss goodnight. "I love you Doll," he mumbled into my hair.
"I love you too Sweetheart," I replied almost quietly enough to not hear.

Stressed Out (Sunset Curve x Reader)
Tumblr media
A/n: So starting off I've made a master list that I'm posting real soon for you all to access my stories without the scrolling. In order to post it I have to update my post about my requests/taglist and soon because I do get a lot on that comments that ask for more Charlie or more Owen and I wanna give you guys that but I also wanna make sure that I get through the requests that you guys send me with plots and storylines. It just makes it like a thousand times easier to have something to work off of. Opposed to me coming up with my own storylines that I have to do a lot of reading on my own to get my gears working! But again thank you guys for the comments! And finally I wanna say thank you for sending in your requests and your feed back. It is much appreciated!
Disclaimer: Alex is bi in this one not taking away from the fact that he's gay in the show it just runs best for this storyline! There is no Bobby btw! Haven’t written a foursome with 3 guys before so it might suck ass. And it’s not much but it’s something so enjoy my fellow fantoms!

I internally groaned walking into school. I wasn't the worst student. But by far I certainly was not the best. Which is why I had a reputation since I first arrived to high school.
That and I was in a band with 3 of my best friends. Who all happened to be guys. Hot guys at that.
Which automatically made me the schools slut. It was fine with me but the boys didn't like the label.
No matter how true it was.
"Hey y/n heard you gave Mike Dawson a blowjob this weekend. Just when I thought you couldn't be anymore of a slut"
"Mind your fucking business Hayley" I heard a familiar voice speak up for me. A smirk spreading on my face as I felt an arm wrap around my shoulder.
"Did she come to you right after Patterson? What's it like to be her sloppy seconds?" Hayley Becker spoke with a wicked evil smirk plastered on her face.
"Fucking amazing actually. God the long nights we have. It's so great" I heard another familiar voice from my left. A large hand intertwining my fingers with theirs. She rolled her eyes clearly not expecting my boys to speak up for me. But then again neither was I.
"Slut"
"Skank"
"Whore"
"Bitch" I spoke as the bell rang.
"Just watch your back y/l/n" She said before turning around and walking away.
"She will!" Reggie shouted after the dark haired girl. The three of us expectantly looking at our bandmate.
"What? I didn't even get to tell her we would too" I sighed shaking my head at the boy.
"Thanks for sticking up for me guys but I can do that myself"
"We know. But your our girl. And apart of this band so we're kinda obligated" Alex spoke as the four of us walked to first period.
"Your really not"
"Come on y/n you know we're still gonna do it"
"I know and I only let you today cause I can't deal with that bitch at this time of day. I mean seriously it's 8:00 o'clock in the morning. Does she not have anything better to do than spread rumors about me?"
"Apparently not. So you and Jake Mills behind the church?" Reggie asked.
"Didn't happen considering I was with you idiots all weekend. You know your the only guys I touch" I bit my lip hearing the three of them chuckle.
"Yeah well it better stay that way. I don't wanna hear Trevor O'Connor bragging about banging you in the boys locker room again"
"Schools golden boy?" I questioned.
"He tried starting the rumor yesterday during p.e but we quickly shut it down" Reggie explained as I stopped a few feet away from the science room to continue talking.
"So Hayleys boyfriend wants to bang me? Wow"
"Yeah but don't even fucking thing about" Luke said pushing me up against the lockers beside us.
"I wasn't. Unless you guys piss me off" I grinned pushing him off of me. Opening the door a few feet away and walking in.
"Gentlemen. And Ms. y/l/n. Your late"
"Sorry Mrs. Daniels we had to deal with something"
"And did this something give you tardy passes"
"It did not"
"Detention. All of you"
"That's nothing new to them Mrs. Daniels"
"Shut the fuck up Hayley" I scoffed taking my seat beside Alex.
"Ladies stop it before I send you to the principal"
"Yes Mrs. Daniels" Hayley and I spoke in sync.
"I can't believe Luke dated her" I whispered towards Alex glaring at the blonde bimbo.
"Jealous?"
"Why would I be? I already have him. And I could have her boyfriend too if I wanted him" I said taking down the notes on the board.
"Mrs. Daniels I can't focus on the lesson because they're distracting me with their talking" Hayley spoke pointing an accusing finger at us.
"We are not!" I shouted sitting up.
"Yes you are probably talking about who your gonna whore around with next"
"Yeah it's your boyfriend if you don't check yourself Hayley"
"Trevor would never do that!"
"I'm pretty sure he would"
"Ladies principal office right now" I scoffed standing up.
"Wait!" Luke shouted standing up. Everyone's heads whipping toward him. He made his way over to me groping my left boob.
I scowled at how hard he squeezed glaring at him.
"Dickhead" I muttered.
"Mr. Patterson! You too principals office" We looked at the other two boys expectantly. Alex immediately rolling his eyes before standing up.
"We could do this the easy way or the hard way Mrs. Daniels"
"If she goes we go"
"I cannot send you two away for absolutely no reason Reginald" Mrs. Daniels spoke challenging the boys.
I close my eyes preparing myself for what came next. Alex was quick to slap my ass while Reggie pulled me in for a sweet kiss. Immediately earning gasps from my classmates.
"Now I can do it. Office all of you! And detention today after school!"
I groaned walking out of the principals office with my bandmates.
"Detention for 3 weeks. Seriously?"
"To make it worse we have to spend 2 of those with Hayley" I spoke seeing the blonde talking with Trevor just a few feet away. Being sure to send them a harsh glare, I finally turned back to the boys.
"Hey you'll be with us everything's gonna be fine" Reggie said throwing an arm around my shoulder leading me away to our next period. That we conveniently had together.
"No it won't. I also have to chaperone the stupid homecoming with Hayley" I cried wanting nothing more than for the day to be done for.
That afternoon we spent in detention not leaving until late afternoon. Due to the fact that my detention went on longer than the boys.
I walked into the studio behind Luke not really in the mood to practice.
"What's wrong y/n/n? You seem down" Reggie asked as I plopped back onto the couch.
"I'm just tired is all. And a little stressed out"
"But we've gotta practice baby, for our next gig. Sunset Curves so gonna rock that book club" Luke said picking up his six string. I watched as Alex and Reggie sent him a glare, the boy immediately putting it back down.
"Or we could take a day off" He spoke coming to sit to my left while Reggie was on my right.
"That sounds amazing" I mumbled feeling Alex begin to massage my shoulders from behind. I craned my neck allowing him more access. Now feeling a little more relaxed than before.
"So tell us y/n/n why are you stressed out?" Luke asked as I shut my eyes.
"Well for starters I'm so gonna get my ass beat when I get home" I sighed feeling Reggie begin to rub my arm to comfort me. Something he did often with how anxious I got.
"And there's just nothing I want to do more than run your ex girlfriend over with a bulldozer" I mumbled hearing a chuckle escape their lips.
"Sounds like a plan" Alex said as Luke intertwined our fingers.
"We'll make a day out of it. Just us four and a bulldozer" He joked making me giggle. The laugh got caught in my throat as I felt a soft kiss on the side of my neck.
"Seriously guys? Not today. No way" I spoke opening my eyes.
"We just wanna help you relax"
"That's what you said last time. I couldn't walk right for 2 days" I mumbled the last part.
"We'll be gentle" Reggie spoke.
"I know you will Reg. It's them I'm worried about" I spoke earning a pointed look from Alex.
"Okay Luke"
"Am I that rough?" He asked a frown forming on his face.
"Sometimes" I admitted feeling a little bad.
"Gee I'm sorry baby" Luke spoke kissing the back of my hand.
"It's okay. I like it when I'm in the mood" I said watching as Alex walked around the couch.
"Well then boys why don't we help our girl relax for today" Alex said bending down in front of me. I bit my lip as he spread my legs open feeling a slight breeze hit my covered core.
"Well there's no need for your skirt or these" Alex spoke toying with the waistbands of both my skirt and panties.
I shimmied out of them with ease leaving me exposed to my best friends like I'd been many times before.
"She just gets prettier every time"
"And wetter"
"Mind if I taste baby?" Luke asked. I nodded my head, watching as he dipped his long fingers in between my folds. Moaning as he pulled them back up to see them glistening with my cum.
"So good" He whispered putting them in his mouth.
"Okay I want a taste now" Alex said opening my legs a little wider.
"Guys. A little help" I huffed as Luke and Reggie hooked themselves on each of my thighs to keep me still.
"Please" I begged getting more turned on by the second. The blonde didn't hesitate to latch onto my core. A loud moan escaping my lips.
"Oh fuck" I struggled to keep still as he moved his tongue skillfully through my folds. Lapping it inside and out as moans fell from my lips.
I whimpered as Reggie slowly began to rub my clit making the pleasure intensify.
"Use y-you're f-fingers" I mustered out Alex obeying my request sticking two fingers in my wet pussy. Picking up the pace. My eyes screwed shut as a familiar feeling of bliss coursed through me.
"Look at me baby" Luke muttered turning my head to look at him with his free hand. I opened my eyes looking into his blue ones covered with complete lust.
He was quick to smash his lips onto mine as the other two worked on building up my orgasm. Which wasn't far at the pace Alex was working on me.
"Holy shit!" I panted pulling away and throwing my head back at the amazing sensation of my orgasm hitting.
"You squirted princess" Alex grinned wiping away the liquids dribbling down his chin. I giggled at his swollen pink lips placing a quick peck to them.
"What now baby?" Luke asked rubbing his hand on my thigh.
I looked at the three boys before discarding any remaining clothes I had left. Watching as their eyes raked me up and down like many times before.
"Reg can you just fuck me today. I really need gentle" I begged as his cheeks turned bright red whenever I asked him to do something. Whether it was sexual or not.
"Sure beautiful" He smiled lopsidedly pushing his lips onto mine.
I sighed in content as he pushed me down on the couch. My head landing on Luke's lap giving me a little leverage.
"She's something else" Alex spoke to no one in particular.
"Your telling me" Reggie panted pulling away to undo his belt and jeans. I bit my lip looking up at the boy with the blue eyes. Who no surprise had a smirk plastered on his face.
"Condom" I heard Alex say presumably to Reggie. But I was too entrance in Luke's gaze wanting to include him. Upon hearing a ripping of a package I glance back at the boy who was hovering above me.
"I can do something for you after if you want" I bit my lip speaking towards Luke.
"It's okay baby. It's about you today" He said moving his hand down from my collarbone to my boob.
Reggie and I moaned simultaneously as he slowly entered me. Immediately stretching me out.
"So tight" He muttered beginning to move at a steady pace.
A squeal escaping my lips as Luke pinched my nipples paying close attention to each of them. He'd always been a boob guy.
I pulled Reggie down towards me our lips meeting in the middle as his speed began to increase.
Then there they were again. Fingers were now rubbing circles on my clit presumably Alex's sending my body into pure ecstasy.
I moaned loudly into Reggies mouth as I felt myself my inner walls clench around him. Earning a groan from the bassist. His thrust becoming more sloppy.
"Shit. Shit. Oh fuck" He cursed as his orgasm hit. Mine coming seconds after.
"Holy fuck Reg" I panted coming down from my high.
"That was pretty fucking hot princess" Alex spoke as Reggie got off of me to go throw away the condom.
"I try" I joked sitting up. Luke immediately removing his muscle tee and handing it to me.
"You do know this isn't gonna cover much up right?" I questioned him putting it on anyway.
"Who said we wanted you to cover up baby" He said pulling me under his arm. I sighed contently placing my hands on his bare torso.
"Anyways Reg why don't you go run her a bath inside the house" Alex suggested throwing me my panties that had been thrown onto the lazy boy.
"Got it!" Reggie said coming over and placing a chaste kiss to my lips before running out of the garage.
"I get to clean her up in the shower. Called it" Luke said as Alex wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Just as long as I get to put her to bed"
"Guys I've orgasmed twice today give me a break"
"Are you feeling more relaxed princess?"
Alex asked grinning at me.
"Much. Now if we could do that consistently for the next 2 weeks then I might be able to get through detention with Hayley without ripping her head off" I spoke earning a laugh from the two boys. Both of them knowing well that I wasn't joking.

You were near your locker when Wanda talked to you for the first time of your day. Wanda was the first one that had introduced herself to you, she was the first friend you had made at your school and you were happy she did, she was the most wonderful bestfriend anyone could ask for. She was here for you at any time, the two of you were spending nights listening to music, dancing like crazy and watching movies together, she was the nicest. Not too long ago, she had decided that her mission was to find you a lover. Since you knew her, you have never been in a relationship because of your last ex that hurted you. Wanda loved talking about boys and girls at your school even if you, not so much, you weren't really attracted to anybody. This morning at 8am, at the start of the day, when you were already tired, she obviously had to talk to you about her mission of finding you a partner.
"Wanda!" You had cutted her in the middle of the list of people she found attractive and she looked at you with wide eyes. You checked quickly around you and found some of the students looks on you, you almost just shouted on the corridor and you lowered your voice quickly. "As i said, i'm over it. I used to crush easily in the past, but i'm done with that." She nodded furiously as you talked, drinking every word you were saying. "No more falling for people at the drop of a hat, i'm focusing on school and my future." She rolled her eyes while sighing. You putted your backpack on your shoulder and closed your locker while smiling at her disappointed face.
As you were about yo go for your first class, you heard a couple of whispers in the corridor. Wanda looked around, she seemed to have heard those too because she was investigating the crowd with her eyes to see what was happening, she loved gossiping. Even if you two were searching what was arriving, you both knew what was coming, or rather, who were coming.
It took no time before Sam Wilson, Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes were walking through the corridor, meeting you and Wanda's gazes, sending chills down your spine. The three guys were pretty popular at your school, each one for a different reason. Steve was popular for being pretty good in sports and good looking, tall, blonde, blue eyes, girls and boys were falling for him all around the school. He was a huge victim of gossips, there was always at least once a week a new gossip about him dating someone but the truth is, Steve was super sweet, caring and gentle with everyone but not a lot into dating.
Sam was just as known by everyone, he was also good in sports and extremely funny, the man always had to crack a joke when he could, making people laugh would bright up his day. He was less victim of gossip because he was talking to the whole school and was making sure everyone was feeling at ease around him.
Bucky was the less popular of the three of them, mostly because he was the most introverted of the three. He was really shy but harsh when he talked and he truly wasn't afraid of telling what he tought. The brunette was a truly different person when you were seeing him at lunch with Sam and Steve, letting out laughs from the heart. You only shared one class with James and he was always at the back of the class, drawing sketches furiously in his copybooks in silence.
The three of them passed by you and Wanda. Sam gave you a huge smile and a wave without stopping his tracks. You could only hear his voice echoing in your ears: "Sup, Wanda, Y/N,". Your blood was rushing to your cheeks, these blushing furiously. This man had so much confidence, it was intimidating. Your hands held tighter the strap of your backpack as you watched him walk away, biting your lower lip. You didn't even saw Steve giving you a polite smile and Buck giving a quick glance on your direction, they didn't stopped and followed Sam quickly as your mind was still racing of this insignificant gesture.
"So turned out, you were lying. You still fall for people with a drop of a hat." Your head snapped in Wanda's direction. She was already looking at you with a knowing look, a smirk and wiggling eyebrows. You chuckled before rolling your eyes and going to your first class of the day without waiting for her. "You won't get away with that so easily Y/N ! It's my mission!" You laughed once again and went in your science class.
Your day passed slowly and it made you even more tired as the hours were advancing. You slowly made your way to your last class, exhausted as ever. As you were about to enter the classroom you stood in the doorway, all of your tiredness going away as you saw Sam Wilson sitting at your desk. You stood there for a couple of milliseconds that felt like hours while staring at him, then you realized you might look like a creep so you went to sit just behind him without saying anything. He didn't realized you were staring at him, to your biggest satisfaction.
You knew Sam was in your class, it wasn't the surprise. The surprise was that he sat somewhere else than his usual seat, and at your own usual place. Actually, you never saw him much in your math class, mostly because he was always in the back. You only knew he had good grades because teachers would always congratulate him, but he always seemed like he wasn't listening in class. He was a nice and funny guy who could talk with anyone easily but in class he wasn't that much of a trouble maker. What were you thinking about ? He probably didn't even noticed he sitted at your desk.
You were wrong. Sam knew exactly where you sitted because he already saw you a couple of times in this class or at lunch and he thought you were mesmerizing, because, he was, in fact, mesmerized by you. Your laugh, your smile, the way your were talking. At first, he thought you didn't wanted of a guy like him. Loud, noisy, attracting everyone's attention, but when Steve told him this morning the way you were looking at him, boy, his heart beat faster, a huge smile took over his features and he felt like the happiest man on Earth. You were looking at him, the way he did. As soon as he heard what the blonde said to him, he thought about you all day and for him, the day passed really quickly. He was going to ask you out on a date at the end of this class, and he would do everything he could, starting as you walked by the door.
You putted on your desk your pencil case and everything you needed for your math class, he did the same. You were watching his every moves closely, a bit lost in your toughts. The class started and you tried to focus, you really did, but with such a beautiful man in front of you, you soon met your toughts again. That's why you were so surprised when he made eye contact with you.
"Do you have an eraser ?" He smiled angelically and you knew you were screwed.
"I would love to.." You answered mindlessly as you were putting, in his hand, your own eraser. He chuckled at your answer, that's when you realized how dumb sounded your response. As your hands touched you felt an electric shock running through your veins and your cheeks became crimson at the contact. He used your eraser briefly before putting it back on your table with a quick "thanks".
You didn't even liked your math class that much, but who were you to complain when such an astonishing man was sitting in front of you, math class was becoming slowly your favourite. Thanks maths for giving you the right to put your eyes on Sam Wilson.
You were studying the back of his head curiously, watching his dark hair, his skin, what he was wearing closely, you wouldn't miss a sight of him, you were so close his cologne was tickling your nose and, it smelt amazing.
You were listening as his soothing voice was talking with confidence answering the questions of the teacher, filling the room that was usually in the silence. The man was really smart, and it only made your heart swell even more. He looked like he was straight out of a romance TV show and you just couldn't keep your eyes off of him. Your eyes went lower and you saw his hands playing easily with his pen, his arms showing that work out had been done and before you could continue to observe him, the bell rang and he was leaving in seconds making you sigh as you packed up your things. You've been studying him instead of your maths the whole hour and now you were completely lost in the lesson. You putted your backpack on your shoulders and exited the classroom and your whole body stopped in the middle of the corridor because he didn't left.
He was here. Waiting for someone. When his eyes found yours a giant smile took over his lips and you bit yours. He was walking over someone else behind you right ? Not you right now, he was coming no time to think!
He took a big breath before talking, "Please don't interrupt me because i've been searching what i'm about to say the whole class," you both chuckled before he continued, "So, Hi? Okay so," he cleared his throat, "I think you're very cool and i wanted to know if we could go on a date sometime, maybe grab something to eat or watch a movie togerher, no pressure don't feel obligated to say yes, just... tell me what you think you know." He let out a shaky laugh as he fidgeted akwardly with his fingers before looking back at you. Damn, Sam Wilson was asking you on a date, that was a big deal because he was nervous and never he was, but how could you say no ? You've been admiring him from afar for way too long and he just admitted he was also doing so.
"Yeah, i'd love to go on a date with you sometime Sam." You smiled sweetly at him and you searched fastly in your backpack before taking out your marker. He was super excited and had a giant smile on his face, his heart was beating so fast he thought he might get out of his cage. "I don't have a paper it's okay if i write on the back of your hand ?" You cocked an eyebrow at him and he nodded eagerly. You wrote your number on the back of his hand as you said and as soon as your skin touched again, that electric wave going trough your body came back faster than ever, your smile growing even bigger. You definitly thought it was love at first sight, and that it was what soulmates were experiencing.
You looked at him when you finished writing, he looked more happy than ever and it made your cheeks blush. You putted your marker back in your bag and a couple of seconds passed just where Sam and you were staring at each other with a huge smile. Then he finally talked.
"I should probably go.. I'll tell you when we'll plan our date ?" He looked at you as you nodded in silence, you approached him and gave him a kiss on the cheek before doing a quick wave of the hand "See ya, Wilson." and disappearing in the corridor. Otherwise Sam stood there a couple of minutes caressing with his cheek where you kissed him with the tip of his fingers. He came back to him, realizing what happened and he jumped in the air like a kid, even doing a little dance of joy, running towards Steve and Bucky, ready to tell them everything.
You however you joined Wanda that gave you a knowing look. "I know, i said i'm over it but-" She cutted you with an excited squeak and took you in her arms. "I'm so happy for you! You don't even need me to find a boyfriend!" You laughed and she did so too.
You couldn't wait for your date, and you couldn't wait for your next math class.
